What's going on, everybody? Happy Monday here today. Crazy stories going on. There's some serious accusations made against David Harbor. Now, wherever the outlet might be that's reporting it, there's one of two things that's going to happen here. Either these allegations are trying to be true. There's going to be some serious crap involved. Or if this publication did not do their homework, there's going to be some serious lawsuits. So it's a story, kids. It's a big story. And if you, if you.
don't think so remind me to never hire you so uh there's other things going on in the world
of entertainment and it's curious about justice league Netflix with the potential acquisition
of Warner Brothers discovery would restore the Snyderverse another question going on mani jikinto
talked about a possible Star Wars return there's some mummy news there's a lot of different
things going on and i pulled the cardinal sin of
don't talk smack until the fat lady sings.
I did it and I paid the price.
So we'll talk about that and more and how Winston A. Marshall is still a frontrunner
no matter what.
So that being said, as myself, John Roker, here is the show,
Christian Harlow Show here today on this Monday.
Let's do it.
Welcome back to the channel, everybody.
It is Monday.
a lot of things been going down.
There's also the other story I didn't mention the intro
is that the box office for Halloween was down.
I watched a couple movies.
I watched a couple things over the weekend.
And also watched,
I pulled such a goofy thing and I'll rehash it.
Broke's just resetting his things that be going in a second.
But I never,
I never, never, never do this anytime.
And I said it as much.
I mentioned that I decided for the first.
first time. I don't really, I don't bet much when I do. I like to, uh, listen, I got a vibe.
I got a thing about it. And I put some, uh, cashish on the, on the, on the blue jays.
And I said, three, two. And I said, normally what I would do normally in any other scenario,
what I usually do is is write it out. And I said it as much when I was talking about. I said,
this team is dodgers are good enough to come back. Um, well, I'll, I'll share my woes with,
uh, with, with, with John Roker. Yeah, John, I was talking about how, you know, normally I'm pretty
I don't bet much.
I don't bet much.
Yeah.
And when I do, I pretty much, I go with my gut,
and I'm pretty good with it normally.
Yeah.
And what I never do, what I never do,
Cardinal Sin, and what you never do is you never start talking smack before it's over.
You just don't do it.
Yeah.
And the,
when the Blue Jays were up 3-2 and Winston was on the show,
I just had to do it because I was so tired of his front-running ways.
It's so fake.
it's so, I love Winston more than anything, but it's such BS.
He's just phony fan of the Dodgers.
If he can name one person other than O'SHanee playing on the team, I'd be surprised.
But, and it was like, three, two, and I said it as much.
I said the Dodgers could very well come back and win this whole series.
They very well could do it.
You did.
Oh, I 100% said that.
You can report it to me that you were in the can for the Js big time.
Oh, I was.
I hundred, but watch, go back and watch the videotape.
I said, now, I'm saying this knowing that the Dodgers could
very well come back and win. They're that kind of team. But three, two, going into Toronto,
I like my chances. Right. That's what you should. And, and I did that, I pulled the Cardinal
sent and I deserved, and I'll say this, I deserved to lose. I deserve to lose. When you do that,
you deserve to lose. I never do it. I did it and I paid the price for it. So that's what happens.
Yeah. Well, I mean, I think Winston can name more LA sparks from the WMBA than you can't Dodgers.
but I totally, I totally respect the fact that he,
he's now going on to the Dodgers side.
He's so, he's so full of shit.
So anyways, what a series.
It was crazy, crazy series.
They didn't go out like, they went out fighting.
They went out on their shields.
They went out fighting.
Absolutely.
It was, it was big.
Sometimes it's just not your day.
You can work your butt off.
And sometimes it's just not you.
That ball going under the, under the wall.
Everything, that's half an inch of the foot on the, everything.
Yeah, it was great.
Anyway, so that, that sucked.
And then I watched some stuff.
What did I watch?
I watched the materialist, which I haven't, I hadn't seen.
Whatever.
It's not a Christian Harlow film.
No, it's not true.
I like those kind of movies.
It's just, there wasn't, did you see it?
I saw half an hour of it.
Right.
So it's, um, it's, you know, look, it's just, it, well, first of all, you're not a Dakota Johnson guy.
I am.
I'm really not.
You just not.
So.
People committed to that.
I thought she was pretty committed.
Anyway, but the point was, when I was watching this thing,
I was like, it's fine.
The movie, people who have said they had a problem with the ending.
I didn't.
I didn't have a problem with the ending.
I don't have a problem with the ending.
I don't know.
And here's the thing.
I like Pedro Voscal.
I'm not one of these people who constantly says,
oh, come on, this got too much, too much.
My wife said that at one point.
She's like, this guy's in everything.
But what I will say is I don't think you needed him in this movie.
Yeah, it's a weird thing.
I think he, you know, the thing is,
I want to make it clear because I know people get upset about this, but like, listen.
Oh, sorry, John.
There's not a lot of opportunities for Latino actors, and you really can't figure,
you really can't, like, how can I say this?
You really can't predict when your films are going to come out.
So it just happened to be that he was taking all of this stuff because he really wants to build
a name for himself, really wants to get out there, really wants to establish that he can be successful
in multiple types of films, multiple types of genres, but he can't control where the studio is
putting these things.
unfortunately they're all putting out all at once kind of like
Jennifer Lawrence had that situation as well and so now people are
backlash against Pedro but I agree with you this is not a role
that scream for Pedro but I understand why he took it to challenge
himself but no but that's the way that's the point I don't think this role
does challenge him okay that's that's the thing is that
I feel to me I don't have the issue of like oh he's in another movie
right right right he's like what what does he do in this movie that you
needed him you don't need him in this movie you could you could have helped your
budget
if you'd cut him, um, and put someone else in there, or spent the same money on,
or less money maybe on somebody who just, it, it, it's just not a role. She just needs to
really like this guy and you've got to like him, which pay for sure. Yeah. There's nothing to that
role and ultimately where it, where it goes. And I don't buy the facts like, oh, you know,
oh, poor you. You got to choose between Chris Evans and what is it? But still Chris Evans.
Yeah, still Chris Evans. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, it's all, it's, I know, it's all fucking so nonsense.
But I mean, maybe he wanted to work for Celine's song who had just passed lives.
And so, yeah, I agree.
I don't understand.
Those kinds of movies to me, I'm always like, uh, right.
Who cares about that kind of stuff?
Yeah, exactly.
It was.
People, so.
It was just fine.
Um, what else did I see?
I'm trying to know that.
Christy.
Oh, that my, my wife watched.
I had already seen it.
Okay.
Yeah.
But my wife saw it and she was watching and she had watched it in halves.
And I heard her reacting like someone was literally getting something was happening.
some of my house and she was watching that scene. And it was, yeah, that's, uh, she city,
Sweeney, look, and I said this before, I had really did not have a lot of game tape on her.
Yeah. She's the goods. She's the goods. Oh, agreed. She's really good in the movie. Really,
really good. Yeah. Yeah. I think she, I think her being nominated is absolutely a possibility. And I'll say
this, maybe get in trouble for it, much more than Dwayne for the smashing machine, which is,
you could argue. I agree. Both of those roles are definitely roles to try to get Oscar.
nominations, but I felt like she had more real estate.
There was more of a through line.
There was more of an arc for what she does in that movie.
And I think her and Ben Foster, who should absolutely now all of a sudden be in the race
for a best supporting actor nomination.
Both of them should be nominated, in my opinion, coming out of that movie.
I'll trade you a shocking comment.
Okay.
If it came down to, if I had to, though, you could only vote for Sidney-Sweeney or Julia
Roberts.
Oh, tell the truth.
I'd pull for Sydney, Sweney.
You have to.
You have to.
Yeah.
You have to.
I think your arc.
I think Julie Roberts is one of her best roles in a very long time, if not her best role.
100%.
As far as acting, as far as acting goes.
But Sidney Sweeney is just, she's incredible in the role.
She really is.
Yeah.
And I went in skeptical as hell.
And I came out of it going like, the movie itself is good.
It's not great.
It's good.
But she is exceptional.
And Ben Foster's pretty good, too.
Yeah.
I'll tell you who.
else i rewatch something and it's just i'm gonna put the i'm gonna put it up on the channel when we're
done here um who i think should be nominated won't be okay but should be um david johnson for the
long walk oh yeah good film from a couple months ago yeah so i just watched it again it's oh good
it's probably going to be in my top three movies wow it's a year it's it's so good dude it's so
good have you watched it more than once yeah i watched it i watched it twice like at the screener
and then i went to see it it's so good it's so good it's so good it's so good it's so good it's so good
Yeah, the regal.
I also think original score should be considered as well.
Yeah.
It's, it's, now, and I also think Cooper Hoffman is phenomenal in the film as well.
I just, all the actors, all the young actors did a great job.
David Johnson just does some special stuff in this movie.
He won't be nominated.
He won't be even looked at, I'm sure, but he should be.
But he should be.
He's really, really good in it.
I don't know where it's going to land, but I could see it landing on my top three for short.
It's that good of a film.
But we'll see.
So anything else is I'm trying to think that that I'd seen over the week.
I tried to watch some, did you have this problem with the,
what's that the L.
Fanning movie, the one there was talking about?
No,
there's this Elf Fanning movie that's out.
Oh, shoot.
And it's supposed to be really good.
It's on the app.
And when I tried to put it,
when I tried to go,
it asked me for my phone number and then asked me for,
um,
you know,
what region I was in?
I did both.
And I said,
oh,
it can't be access.
I'm like,
what the hell is this?
It was the only thing on the entire thing.
Oh.
Life of Chuck was the other one that I watched the other day.
I've not heard good things about that when I've watched it.
It's interesting when you think about it.
Okay.
It's interesting when you think about it, but it's nothing that should be nominated.
So sentimental value is the one you're talking.
Yes.
That one is getting a lot of buzz.
Did you try to, do you try to open that?
I'm watching that this week.
Try it open it on your app.
Tell me, am I doing something wrong?
I have no idea.
Anyway.
Well, we're going to start the week out here, John.
You already got nine to start.
And we'll see if we can take a victory here today.
100 people bring it it's a monday morning i'm on four hours of sleep which means all my walls are
down all my defenses are down so you're going to get honest authentic raw and unfiltered roca so bring it
what a crazy story um that popped here too over i mean look at this morning and like uh and look
the the first part of it is it comes from the daily mail right oh yeah however however the daily mail
didn't make it up they were it was this this was this was given to them by david
Harbour's wife, right? So anybody who is dopey enough to say, how could you take it seriously? Because
the guy's wife went to them and said, listen to this. Now, we'll get into the fact is what if it is not true and what repercussions the daily mail and his wife could have in a moment?
But anybody who's like, well, click bite, you have to understand the definition of clickbait. Now go suck on a piece of cheese.
Now let's get, let's go and check this story out in general because the accusations are not great.
No.
And it also plays into what happens with Marvel in a situation like this.
Yeah.
And what kind of response we're going to hear in general.
So let's, let's check this.
Okay.
So this was the retelling of it by this kind of book movie here.
So check this out.
Break down.
Thunderbolt star David Harbor is accused of bullying and harassing Millie Bobby Brown.
Multiple tablides are now reporting that Black Widow star David Harbor harassed and bullied his stranger things co-star Millie Bobby Brown,
heading into the Netflix series fifth and final season.
David Harbor has been in the headlines for the past couple of weeks after his ex-wife,
Lily Allen, released her new album, West End Girl.
In that, she shared many sort of details about the relationship, dropping some devastating infidelity.
Harbour, who has been known for playing some father figures in the movies and TV shows he's appeared in, hasn't come out on the other side on Tarnished.
Now, several tabloids, including Radar Online, are sharing some supposed accusations about the actress alleged conduct on Stranger Things.
11 actress Millie Bobby Brown is said to have accused Harbour who plays Jim Hopper of bullying and harassing her before season five.
Harbor was allegedly the subject of an internal inquiry after the British actress filed a formal complaint, though he was not a.
accused of any sexual misconduct.
Source tells the site,
Millie Bobby Brown, Phil,
filed a harassment and bullying claim
before they started shooting the last season.
There were pages and pages of accusations.
The investigation went on for months.
In response to these claims,
Netflix source said it will be a theatrical event.
Nothing is going to overshadow it,
not even the leading man's private life.
Due to these claims of bullying,
the 20-year-old Bobby Brown has said
to have a personal representative with her
on set throughout filming on the final series
with another insider explaining.
It's unfortunate that Mr. Harbour
Where's personal woes have hit the headlines at a time when Stranger Things fans were looking forward to a global celebration to mark the end of the groundbreaking show.
It's not clear what the outcome of the investigation was, but Harbor will still appear in Stranger Things season five and wasn't dropped from the series.
Brown didn't appreciate the way her co-star conducted himself.
Then they were likely kept apart with that representing with that representative there to ensure that nothing was said or done to fall in a category of harassment and bullying.
as always until the trades weigh in.
It's best to report this with a pinch of salt.
It will, however, be worth keeping an eye on.
Neither Brown nor Harbor have made any sort of comment.
Again, this is a major story.
Yep.
It's a major story because, and here's why.
Yeah.
And let's go with the commenters who are saying,
well, it's the Daily Mail.
It can't take the Daily Bell serious.
Let's say that you're 100% correct.
Yeah.
Someone went to them and they decided to publish this,
and now they are potentially,
if everything is false and they publish this without betting it, making sure it was accurate,
they are going to be sued for a lot of money.
And then the real story will be David Harbour suing Daily Mail and possibly his ex-wife
for millions of dollars.
And if proven to be BS, rightfully so.
Right.
The flip sign.
No matter who reported on it, it turns out to be true, we have to hear from Millie Bobby Brown.
You have to.
She's whether these claims are not true, then that shuts this down and then that lawsuit can start.
But this is a story.
And the question is at what extent was it?
Was he in a place also?
Because not that this is that this is okay.
Yeah.
But is it a place where he's fighting with his ex-wife?
He takes it into work.
He screams and yells at her at one point.
He's out of line.
And they say, I was so out of line.
Let's get past this.
And that happens.
People are allowed to be human beings.
And if she was okay with it, I would be okay.
with it down the line.
Yeah.
But I don't know the circumstances.
You know what I mean?
So I don't know.
What do you make to this?
I mean, look, there's, according to the report, there's 30 pages of this.
So there's a lot of evidence, a lot of, not evidence.
I don't know what I say, there's a lot of accusations.
There's a lot of claims being made here, if you can read between lines of what's
being reported from Millie Bobby Brown's side of things.
And listen, this is absolutely timed for maximum damage to David Harbor.
And I don't mean that to defend David.
Harbor. I'm saying it's clear that this guy pissed off Lily Allen and pissed off
Millie Bobby Brown to the point where this stuff is happening almost in.
Well, we don't know if he pissed off Millie Bobby Brown yet.
Reportedly, right.
Okay.
In concert at the same time.
Like Lily Allen's album dropped, which absolutely skewers him throughout.
And look, infidelity, I mean, they had an open relationship.
You can have that's between that.
She's rumored.
She's rumored to have infidelity, too, by the way.
Right.
It's not my business.
Right.
Exactly.
I'm not going to comment on that.
There's stuff.
because it's always one-sided when the person's doing an album, Hello, Taylor Swift.
But the other side of the thing is this situation where it's like, okay, well, is there repeated incidences on the set?
And why are we just now hearing about it?
Why have we heard all of this stuff before?
How much has Netflix been kind of sitting on this stuff and quieting this stuff?
And who leaked it if this is a legitimate report?
Who leaked it so that this will all come out right when everyone else is already jumping on David Harbor?
And so you have to ask these kinds of questions here.
Because if Millie didn't approve the leaking, you're kind of fucking with Millie too.
100%.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, you're into this and forcing.
Yeah.
And that's not right either.
No, because imagine a situation where she was uncomfortable, whatever it might be.
And she said, look, I don't want to make this public.
I want to handle this.
I'm not feeling great about it.
I got to tell Netflix about it.
Right.
And then he comes in.
They sit down.
He's like, oh, my God, I've been a freaking asshole.
I apologize.
I, you know what?
I didn't realize.
what I was doing at the time.
I lost my temper.
Are you cool with me?
I'm cool with you.
It's okay.
Let's just put this past us.
I'm going to have somebody on set with me.
I understand.
Let's just work through it.
Let's do it.
That is a very possible and human possibility.
Right.
But what's also possible is that the,
he tells his wife at the time,
ex-wife, whatever it might be.
And then shit goes sour and she's like,
I'm going to tell them that that went down.
Very possible.
Lily may be going scorched earth right now.
100%.
And if you know Lily Island,
I've followed her for many, many years.
I love Lily.
She is a DGAF person.
And she does.
And when she is done with you,
she has done with you and she has no problem setting the earth on fire around you.
So I would not be surprised that she was the source for this stuff.
Not that I'm accusing her of being the source,
but I would not be surprised if through like intermediaries,
she let me be out because as you said,
they're mentioning his wife who at the time of Lily Allen.
So she would have access to this stuff because apparently in the report it says
she was supporting him all through the accusations from Millie Bobby Brown's side of things.
Right.
Well, that's, but that's what I say.
And this, look, we have seen this too many times where people go, oh, well, first of all,
we don't even know what Millie Bobby Brown has even said.
Right.
We don't know what the actual actions.
We don't know how she's feeling about it today and how she felt about it two years ago.
Right.
Very good point.
So what you cannot say is, oh, that's it.
He bullying the guys, get him out.
You can't do that.
Right.
You can't.
You have to figure out what's going.
on. You have to discuss it to be able
in another, again, to combat
people that I would never hire in a
million years that said, don't cover this.
To combat that, you have
to have these conversations because
of down the line of, well, what's
next in this? Because if you are,
the commenters who are saying, oh,
you can't take it seriously,
if they are fabricating this
and they're putting the man's name
out there and doing this, this is
a big story and a big problem,
and they should go down financially.
Yeah, right. If that's the situation there. So yeah. And, you know, someone said Lily Allen is washed up in the chat. No, she isn't. Her album just came out. It's the highest charting album she's had since 2014. She's very much not washed up. And people are loving this album. Dare I say it more than the Taylor Swift album. It's getting reviewed better than that Taylor Swift album is. So she is still creating great music. And sometimes you need to be inspired to do that. And clearly she is. And I think she's taking no prisoners. And this is the Lily Allen that I love. I love a Lily Allen that takes no.
prisoners. I just need to hear, I mean, and like you said, it's unfortunate, but because she was
brought into this, Millie Bobby Brown needs to be heard from here. A statement needs to be heard of,
even if it was like, there was something that went down, but we have moved past it, and I have
no ill will towards David Harbor whatsoever, and we have worked it out with Netflix, and we're so
excited about the next season. Everyone then will be, see, big, and even people could say,
see, there was nothing there. And I would say, yes,
But I'm glad we talked about it because now the Daily Mail can say,
we're in trouble here.
We're in trouble.
I think you're doing exactly what you sometimes advise us to do in situations over the years.
And if people like create a controversy or get upset about something,
just chill, let it blow over.
People will find something else to be upset about it.
Maybe Netflix is telling David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown,
don't say anything just now.
We've got a big season coming.
Please, maybe there's contractual stuff, NDAs, legal stuff.
that was settled. There's all kinds of possibilities here.
Sure. Maybe that's what they're doing.
Sure. But I agree with you.
If you remove that, I absolutely
would love to hear from both of them
what their opinions are about this report
coming out and what the situation
is that happened. Not that they need to go into
details because that's their own personal stuff.
Something simple. Yeah. Like everything, yeah.
This is. Everything behind the team. They should come out together
with a statement. This is blown out of proportion.
We, we,
we had difficulty on set
that we worked past and Netflix, myself, David, we're good.
We're good, yeah.
You get that, then Daily Mail is in trouble.
Right.
And whoever leaked this to them is in trouble because if it's not vetted.
So either way, I hope it works itself out to where it is that type of scenario, honestly,
because I like David Harbor.
I don't know what, and I don't know what the accusations are.
I really don't.
I really don't know what they are.
And like I said, and if he,
is losing his temper going through some shit and then he apologized and whatever it might be.
I am not someone who's going to say. Look, I've been in situations. Like I told it many times over,
I've been very open about it. I went through some shit for a year dealing with shit that I should
have been when I was, when I lost my brother. We lost Schnep, did all these things. And I
bottled that shit up and I didn't talk to anybody about that stuff. I let that shit sit and festering.
I'm not going to, I'm good for a year. And then what I did? I lost it on air and, you know, and paid for it.
And pay for it.
Yeah.
And paid for it.
Rightfully sell, though, because you should, what did you say?
And then you beat me up in the lobby.
I remember that.
I beat you.
That's right.
I gave you a headbut.
I gave you a head butt.
And I broke my head on your, on your, on your, on your, on your, on your, on your
but, you know, but the point is that you get into places where, when you're in this.
And it's, you have to be able to work through.
Yeah.
And I'm out the other side of it.
And everybody judging, everybody judging, you all have fucked up too.
You all have made mistakes.
you all have lost your minds on people.
You all have exploded at family members, said the most horrific stuff.
And, you know, we're in a place where, and I get it.
I know Rok is maybe not a person to be saying this stuff.
But like, we need to understand about situations and not just jump immediately, go,
this is the truth and screw them.
We have to, you know, have a little more grace, have a little more understanding,
let the facts all come out and then decide where we feel, what we feel about these kinds of things.
Because sadly, we're all complicit in this social media reaction to everyone.
thing, an immediate judgment. And we don't know what the facts are. And Christian, as you alluded to,
there have been quite a few instances over the last few years where more facts have come out
and people like, oh, crap, oh, you got to pay attention. You just got to wait. People want to take,
they automatically want to take the right side and you know what the right side is. But I will say,
my favorite comment so far as you were telling you saying, like everyone's yelled at their family
members or done this, my favorite comment that I have seen so far is from Joshua Gonzalez.
He says, no, I'm better than them.
It's good.
It's good.
All right.
Anyway, where do you guys stand on this in general?
Put your thoughts in there.

All right.
John, you know, I was going to ask you, and I'm going to ask you on air it up to put you on the spot.
Oh, boy.
Yes.
I'm getting on a phone call today with at, at 4.3.
I can't say yet, except it's the director and the producer, which I can't announce it.
Yeah, for the show.
And we're going over our Kickstarter goals today.
Okay.
And I should have launched that pretty soon.
But I'm going to need to tell the peeps about it.
And then I got to do a guest spot on the hot mic, man.
You got to get on that hot mic.
Oh, yeah.
Come on the hot mic.
I got to go.
I'm going to talk about, I'm going to, because we're going to push it.
We're going to push it hard.
We're excited.
We're going to have all these different tiers.
And I'm pumped because my writing partner who just wrote me and said, look,
if we can get X amount of people to donate this level, I think we can do this.
Like, we can make this happen.
And I'm like, we can.
We can.
And I forget, I have, I also have somebody, I can't say who yet.
I can tell you probably off here, but I have someone that I got on a phone with an actor that you would definitely know.
And that person is interested.
We're getting the script over to their team now.
Russell Crow.
Hey, it's Russell Crow.
So we're, so we're pumped about that.
Yeah, I'm going to be going on, someone to go on Campes as well.
And I think I'm going to cross promote on stuff too.
I'm going to go on some people's Joe and the.
the DTE side of things too, like, you know, the, the UAP side of things.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
I'm going to reach out to some people there on that side and, uh, and really see what I can
do because we're, we're a mission, man, we're on a mission.
I know.
I hear it.
I hear it voice, man.
You're really excited about it.
We're excited about it.
And I don't think she'd mind and I'm going to talk to her about it tomorrow,
but I got the most wonderful text from Roxy yesterday.
Oh, yay.
And, um, I mean, Roxie's just the best in general.
But.
So she wrote this and I'm going to I'm going to ask her if I if tomorrow she wants to talk about it.
If not it's okay.
But she said I just read the new draft last night and holy shit, this draft has dialed the fuck in.
It took everything I had not to call you at 2 a.m. about it.
And that means a lot to me.
She watches so much TV.
She does.
And like so like when she was telling me that, I was like and I called her like immediately and she was kind of going over things.
She actually gave me a great suggestion on something.
So.
Oh, good.
So we're, uh, we're pumped.
We're pumped to it to get it.
it going. So yeah, so I would love to be, I'd love to do a hot mic spot.
Definitely did. Let's set it up. We're going to do it.
All right. We did a very controversial topic on the first one to open up. So let's stay away from
controversy. And let's get to this one.
I'm like coming a mile away. Justice League. Would Netflix's potential acquisition of
Warner Road's Discovery restore the Snyderverse? Let's see.
With it being widely reported that Netflix could be looking to acquire Warner Brothers and its library, DCEU fans on social media are sharing their hopes.
This could lead to the Snitroverse's return.
Fans have spent years hoping that Wonderbothers Discovery and DC Studios might restore the Snyderverse,
but does Netflix interest in acquiring the company make that any more likely?
While Paramount Skydance remains the top contender to purchase Warner Brothers,
it was recently reported that Netflix has retained financial advisory firm Moellis and company to explore potential.
bid, meaning the streaming platform is looking into the possibility of entering the fray.
When Netflix co-CEO, CEO, Greg Peters, and Ted Sarandos were asked about the possibility of
Corey Warner Brothers last month, the former said you have to do that by the hard work of developing
those capabilities in the trenches day to day. You don't get there simply by buying another
company that is also still developing those same capabilities. Sarandos added, we've been very
clear in the past, we have no interest in owning legacy media network, so there is no change there.
Netflix has, of course, worked closely with Zach Snyder in recent years.
However, Army of the Dead and Rebel Moon movies weren't exactly huge successes.
Still, DCEU fans have been taking to social media in their droves,
expressing their hope that Netflix's potential acquisition of the Warner Bros. Discovery
will somehow lead to the Snyderverse being restored on streaming.
It's a nice thought, but not one that really makes sense.
After all, why would Netflix basically scrap DC Studios and its DCU plans to give Snyder
hundreds of million dollars to make his Justice League sequels for its monthly subscribers?
If anything, it would be business as usual with HBO Max,
content likely added to Netflix and Netflix overseeing Warner Brothers Pictures.
Yada, yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
So let me save them.
Okay.
Two things.
All right.
Here's two reasons why this isn't going to happen.
Go ahead.
One.
Netflix ain't getting Warner Bros.
They are, you know what they're doing?
What they do?
They are jacking up the price for Paramount.
That's what they're doing.
That's called collusion and that's illegal.
Is that what you're trying to say?
What I'm saying is.
is they're, I'm not saying they're not interested.
Okay.
But they're interested knowing that they're going to get outbid.
So you can still, if it's one of these, it's like, oh, shit, we got it.
It's been great.
Yeah.
They might not outbid us, but they probably will.
Yeah.
That's what I think's going to happen as far as that goes.
Ellison wants he going to get it.
That's part one.
Part two is everything the comic book movie just said there at the end.
This is the same conversation we're having where it looks like Ellison will keep gun on if
he has them. Why in the world
would Netflix get rid of
Gun if they're going to get them and
then say, oh yeah, and we're
going to bring back the
half of the people who love them and the
other half who didn't like that dark
side, no unintended, of
the DC. Why
do that? It makes no sense.
Now, putting it on the
platform and maybe giving them a spinoff
and maybe asking Gun
to say, hey, listen,
do you love to fund a
and Elseworld's Justice League follow-up with Zach Snyder.
Is that possible?
Sure.
Probable?
No.
What do you think?
This is where, first of all, in a vacuum,
I would love Netflix to buy them and then have an Elseworld,
Zach Snyderverse that existed along with the James Gunn universe,
because that's fun.
We used to collect, those of us who collect comic books,
it was a main Batman through line,
and then there were other Batman Offshoecom books
and we were able to understand
those are different worlds
and not try to say where does this fit
and what does this fit and all of this stuff.
But like I think the thing,
the reason it won't happen
is because of the fans ironically.
The fans who became nutballs
about the Snyderverse
and I am a big Snyder fan.
I love the Snyderverse, you know,
but the fact that they became nutballs about it
now as a company,
you're like we can't even bring both of these
creators in to do their thing and have some fun with this stuff and really get more people to like
the content, more people to watch the content be a blast. But because the fans are so divided,
they're so, it's such a civil war, the gun lovers, the Snyder bros, all of them battling
about the future of DC. What company wants to bring toxicity into their brand, into a brand,
and put that out there and risk getting half the audience pissed off and the other half the audience
pissed on and then creating a civil war
under your antenna. Who wants...
It's like buying that player.
It's like buying Rodman. Yeah, if you
can't control him, you're just going to lose
your shit like he did on the Spurs.
But if you can control him, you can get him to a title
like they did on the Bulls. It's a
combustible property right now if you were to
bring in and try to put in Snyder and gun,
which I think in a vacuum would be amazing.
But now because of the fandoms,
I think would absolutely implode.
You know, if him doing something
together, that would, I think
that would, as they said,
Braveheart, unite the clans.
You know?
The clans, of course.
Like, that would, if you did that,
if you had them work and do a special,
I think that would be smart if James Gunn did that,
to do something like,
whatever it might be.
I think he would like to work with,
with Zach Snyder.
They're friends.
They're friends.
They're friends.
And the other side of it is,
good luck getting Ben Affleck back to do this.
He wants nothing to do with this.
He wants nothing to, not that he didn't like,
Not that he didn't like his time.
Yeah.
He's over it.
If you cast Anna to Armis's catwoman, I guarantee you he'll come back.
Why, you think he wants to go back with her?
Is that a rumor?
The report's over the weekend that he is going to open the door, try to open the door to that because she broke up with Tom Cruise.
And of course, he's not with J-Lo anymore.
And so Ben likes, and we know Ben's reputation, he likes to revisit his old one.
Here's my answer to that.
He's not a moron.
He's not a moron.
I'm not faulting the man.
Nor should you.
No, Anna's an amazing, a beautiful one.
Hey, do you see that horrible movie they were in together?
Yes.
If I was him, I'd be watching that, crying, eating, eating Hershey's.
Yeah, and sitting outside smoking.
100%.
All the good old days.
Casey, that's it.
Casey, bring the stand back in.
Bring the stand back in, Van Adarvis.
Put it back in the house.
Yeah.
Look, guys got a good resume, but that's on the top.
Just saying.
I'm just saying.
Yeah, agree.
You guys done all right for himself.
Yeah, yeah.
I love Ben.
He's an amazing guy.
I love that.
Yeah.
So he's on the bucket list.
Like, if I could sit for an hour with Ben Affleck,
that's a lot of course.
Yeah, 100%.
It's funny too.
Well, I'll tell you, Jason Momoa,
you better keep Adja Arjana right there because my man,
Ben, is on the prowl.
I feel like your wife should throw a shoe at you
every time you mention her.
Me too.
I'm now making my little one say it even more now to her.
Yesterday, Masey walked in and says,
Hey, Mom, are you a friend of, are you, are you a fan of Adrian?
Hohman?
So good.
So good.
Someone told me, it's one of the, one of the commenters, like, you got to write that,
you got to put that in one of the shows.
And I said, 1,000%.
Yeah.
I'm absolutely going to put that in.
You got a nabber for a guest star.
Or bring her on the show and have you and your wife interviewer.
That would be amazing.
Well, no, no.
No, I would do the former.
I would do the former.
Either way.
So this is a big,
big story in general,
but I don't think that Netflix,
A, I don't think Netflix is getting,
did you comment on that, John?
Do you think that Netflix is going to get them?
I think it's really tough to say one way or nothing.
Because, you know, as I said on the hot mic,
a couple times, like, these are billionaires playing with toys.
Sure.
We, as the common folk here on the ground,
have no idea the thing.
the things that they're doing, and especially now with such a lawless environment that's going on behind the scenes.
We used to have some legal things.
We used to have ten poles in the ground.
All those ten poles have been yanked up because now it's a free-for-all for all these wealthy MFers to do whatever they want to do.
So we have no idea what's being talked about behind the scenes.
Are they driving up the price?
Is this a legitimate negotiation?
Do they not want Sarandos to have this because they're both politically aligned a certain way,
where Sarandos isn't.
So there's just a lot of questions around all of this that needs to get clarified.
And then you have a Trump administration that's putting their finger on the scale of which
way they want the sale to go.
So is that going to affect things?
So there's just so many moving parts in this that I can't even possibly speculate right now.
What's going to happen?
I'm excited to see what happens, though.
I am.
I'm excited to see it because it's like, okay, we're really going to get one of these two
or nobody's going to, they're going to have to operate.
and it's going to be a whole
a bunch of nothing. And good luck.
And let's see if they could. What a story
that would be if nobody bought them at all.
And they had to like kind of build,
not build back up. It's not like they're like,
you know, yeah, but you know what I mean?
Like to see them like, okay, we don't have, we didn't sell.
Yeah. And we got ourselves back to prominence without anybody.
That'd be an interesting story too.
Yeah, but that's not as Laslo's, uh,
he's trying to sell this thing.
I know. I know. He's been since he bought it since he bought in the first.
Exactly. Yeah.
100%. So there's some people who are saying that they said that Netflix is a frontrunner right now to buy Warner Bros.
I just feel like that guy, Ellison, does not like to be told no.
Yeah. And I feel like Ellison can play with Sarandos all day long.
Yeah.
I just think that guy, he plays on a whole other level, man.
And you think Sarandos being in charge of Netflix means anything to Ellison?
Like Ellison literally plays a very powerful guy and very good at what he does.
But the fact that the richest man in the world
Can play with you.
There's not many times you can say that there's someone who could probably get the better of Sarandos.
But this time you can you could potentially say that.
But then look, this could up his stake Sarandos if he does get that win.
Yeah.
It's major.
What do you guys make of all of this?
There's a crazy stuff going on.
You think that they're going to get bought?
Do you think that Netflix's going to get them?
You think Warner Bros. is going to get them?
Do you think that they would bring back the Snyder person?
Tell me about all of it.
What do you think?
Let's shift gears, John.
Okay.
Let's go to Star Wars.
Oh, no.
Yeah, I know.
But, oh, I'll tell you know, you know what?
I forgot about this.
Go ahead.
All right, I got some either, I got either some, I got some Star Wars tidbits for you or some Marvel.
What do you want?
What do you want?
Well, I mean, we're about to do Star Wars.
I guess Star Wars.
I will stick with Star Wars.
Well, we'll swing with Marvel, maybe?
Go ahead.
Do you want to start with Marvel?
I can't, I can only, I can only do one right now.
One, huh?
I can only do, I can only do one, one thing right now.
Well, Marvel is the bigger draw.
So right now.
Do you want to do, we'll do Marvel?
I guess so, yeah.
Which one do you think?
I think you're probably right.
Okay.
I think you're probably right, but let me see.
I'll tell you some of the things that I can, that I can tell you about it.
And you, we're at 25.
Guys, if we're about to drop some Marvel news,
let's get these numbers up on the stream, on the super chats, rather.
Let's get to Andre.
Come on, y'all.
Yeah, you know what?
Someone made a good point.
So, something a good point.
So you know what?
I do have quite a couple juicy things.
I'll release them.
I'll release them at 90.
90.
90 super cheap.
I like it.
That way it gives you a chance.
So we'll go back to the Star Wars thing.
Let's do Star Wars.
All right.
So here it is.
And this is Mani Janko.
Yeah.
It was talking about a potential Star Wars return easily.
many people are going to argue that this guy was the best.
Yes.
In all of this entire thing, he was the best.
You know what he was also really good in?
I know no one is going to say this except me,
although people who saw it,
he was great and freaky year Friday.
That's what I hear.
He was great.
Yeah.
I love this guy.
I love this guy.
I'm very curious to hear what he says here.
Recently came from an excerpt from a coffee table book about the making of the Star
War Series acclap in the book.
Leslie Headland revealed that the original plans for the stranger,
Manichinto saw him forming the earliest incarnation of the Knights of Wren
first introduced in Star Wars of Force Awakens.
As such, he was not a Sith per se.
The only real Sith we saw in the series was a brief glimpse of Darth Plagis,
the Sith Lord, we know eventually served as Emperor Palpatine's master.
TV insider recently caught up with Chiquinto and asked for his take on Headland's remarks
about her plans. He said, I did run into an article about it,
and I think Leslie cleared things up a bit that Apostlepath was at.
Camar was one of the first nights of rent, so that was a possibility to explore.
I think that would have been maybe more of a master of Padoan relationship with Camer and
Bernestra in season two, but who knows, I don't know if we'll ever see it.
For Janko, he says, he's very open to return to the role if Lucasfilm asked.
He said, I'm always ready, and I was always loved to run it back if they'd have me.
That was a role of a lifetime.
I'm incredibly proud of what we did in the act light, and with Oshamir, with that whole
relationship.
I feel like a lot of that franchise that we currently have, it's missing the romance, it's
missing a lot of the love and relationships.
We have the big fight scenes and the original stories of these heroic and whatnot,
but they don't really have a lot of relationship with other people.
It's a weird thing.
And that's why I love the Khomear-Oshah relationship because we were taking it back to having a relationship in this big world.
I think we need more of that.
I think that that's what made the characters in the story more compelling,
as opposed to having just a big fight sequence, which I loved.
Second season, MacLight ain't happening.
It doesn't mean the end for either the High Republic or potentially his character in any other way.
No, it doesn't.
It doesn't mean, but right now you got to give it a rest because it's too, it's too fresh.
And it's just, the show just does not carry over and use other things you can do.
Yeah.
Outside of that.
But did you and I speak about this when this Knights of Rent thing when this, I can't remember was last week when this story broke.
Last week we talked about, we touched on it, but I don't think we went too deep.
It's a terrible idea.
It's an absolutely terrible idea to make him the beginning of Knights of Run.
Terrible.
Makes no sense whatsoever.
and it goes outside of what they already set up in the book,
further showing that they don't give a crap about this stuff that they set up in the books,
because that's not what, Knights of Run was formed after Return of the Jedi as kind of a lead-up to it.
They weren't around back in the High Republic.
What's the point?
The Sith were building it out.
They would have been an absolutely horrendous decision that I'm glad never happened.
But I'm bummed that they didn't use managing into a different show somewhere else.
Or like we said, you and I have billion times over.
If it would have been him and Daphne Keene, you know, running in that circle and him trying to recruit her and her, whether or not she became the accolade or whatever, it could be a more condensed story with just the two of the twin storyline to me.
I disagree with him that that worked.
I didn't think that the two of them worked at all.
No.
The story was a disaster.
So I don't know.
What do you make of all this?
And will we see him back?
I think the fact that they keep asking him questions and he keeps responding.
I think to me indicates that he is
interested in coming back and there may be
like preliminary talks or like kind of behind the scenes
conversations that may be happening to say to him like
to make it clear to him like you know we might have plans
for in the future we might have something for you to do
we like what you did and he's a great talent right
so just because he played one role in Star Wars
and knocked it out of the park doesn't mean that and the show
didn't do well doesn't mean that you need to like now just kind of
toss him out with the rest of the show. So to me, I like this idea. I love that he wants to still be
around it. I thought Leslie, again, I will say this forever, that I think Leslie got absolutely
castrated trying to do her version of what she wanted to do with that show by Filoni and others,
and in the end, people paid for it. But the great actors stand out, and Mani just stood out
like crazy in that show with less screen time than a lot of the other actors had, and he was able to
really acquit himself well. So to me, I love this idea of the fact that he wants to continue doing it.
And I think there are paths for him to come back. Because right now, Christian, the way Star Wars is,
if people, if the fan base responds to a character, they need to use them immediately because
there's not a lot of characters recently that they've been responding to. And so the ones that do get over,
no, it's true. You've got to get them on there. It's part of the thing that, again, in the Star Wars stuff
that I have, is just that it's not a big shocker, but there's just, I don't think anybody's really on the
same page of that company right now right it feels that way doesn't it it unfortunately it's true
they're just not on the same page like they have the the the teams have very different philosophies
of what they want they can't get on the same page they can't figure out certain aspects of what they
some people think that they should definitely do this other people think that they shouldn't and
they're and they're doing they don't know what they're doing they just still they still don't know
what they're doing and that's why you have had movies it's 2019 it's like sports like the
Kathleen Kennedy and Theloni and all them,
those are the commissioners of the league.
But the teams themselves can't even get together
to decide what they need to be doing
or what they want in a collective bargaining agreement
to even go to the commissioners and be like,
okay, this is the deal we need to work out, this negotiation.
Yeah, but unfortunately, but unfortunately...
Completely different than what the teams want.
I know, but unfortunately, the teams you're talking about
are coming up with an idea of like,
well, what if we go in this?
And then they're getting shot down by management
Yeah, every time.
Pretty quick because they don't know the way that those others do.
And that's like, you're never going to be able to run a company professionally like that
and get good results.
You might get lucky in Andor or something, you know, but, but I've said it so many times over for the last three years.
You will not get that company back or that brand back.
My friend yesterday, my friend James was texting.
He's like, he's like going over all his grievances about Star Wars.
And I love him.
I've known him since he was in the,
he was in kindergarten.
I've known him.
He's younger than me, but I,
but I was,
I'm telling him,
I'm,
I'm giving as many answers,
not long answers,
but I'm like,
at one point I'm like,
you just got to let it go.
It's like,
it's,
you know,
you can't get upset about it.
You just got to let it go.
It's,
you have to understand,
like,
and or,
you know,
it's like that,
do you see that viral video of that kid who was the Jets fan?
And they asked him about,
oh,
he goes,
I hate this team.
He goes,
I'll root for them and I'll be there.
I'll watch every game, but I hate this team.
That's how I feel about Star Wars right now.
It's like, I'll root for him.
I'm going to, I'm going to see every movie.
I'll watch every, well, I'll watch a lot of the shows and I'm hoping.
But with this management and this team, you are never going to the playoffs.
You just not.
You just not go into the playoffs unless, you know, other teams have been sold and have gotten
better owners and then they win various championships.
Look, look at the Dodgers.
Yeah.
Look at the Dodgers.
Dodgers were in a, were, was Star Wars today.
That was the Dodgers about 10, 15 years ago, maybe 20.
Then they got bought and then things started happening.
And guess what?
They won two in a row.
Yeah.
And they've been in contention every year because they have management that knows what they're doing.
The management at Lucasfilm does not know what they're doing.
Yeah.
That's it.
Yeah.
That's it.
I don't think the, the Knights of Rent thing would have been just useless.
It would have made him even more flaccid to have him be the first nights of rent.
And then you did nothing with them in the sequel trilogy.
It would have made it even more ridiculous.
You did nothing with them.
So, yeah, I'm glad they didn't go that route.
No, it would have been nonsense.
It's like the same reason, Darth Plague is just hanging out in a cave for some reason.
I'm going, what?
I mean, I could say when I saw him at first.
I'm like, yeah, there he is.
I'm like, wait, why is he just creeping out in a cave by himself in the middle of nowhere?
Are you going for pizza?
No.
You're going from pizza?
No mushrooms.
No mushrooms.
So anyway.
All right.
What do you guys make of it?
You think that you want to see Manny back?
You care?
Do you not care?
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know what you're thinking, man.
Okay.
I think we're going to get maybe one more topic here.
And then we'll move on to the questions.
Oh, you know, we should do the box office.
So we usually do on the show.
So we'll do the box office.
It was a really kind of piss poor, piss poor weekend, John, at the Halloween.
One of the worst in, I think, maybe ever, right?
Yeah.
Really bad.
And nobody's going to check out the movies.
And didn't do well.
Here is, here are the results of what it was.
Sorry.
Okay.
So top five this week.
regretting you is number one.
Wow, that's interesting, with $8 million.
Saw that one.
Black Phone 2 coming in number 2,
and that movie has made so far,
104 million?
Okay.
How much is regretting you make so far?
50 million?
How much does that movie cost to make, John?
Let me guess.
I'm going to say, I'm going to say 45 million to make regretting you.
I'm curious.
Oh, wait, sorry, John.
What did you say, John?
I'd say 20 million.
I mean, it's mechanic great.
She's not commanding much money.
Yeah, but I don't know.
But I just,
to me,
it always seems like that
was a bigger production.
So I'm going to say $30.
$30 million.
All right.
And it's already made 50.
Not too bad.
That's not too bad.
Chainsaw Manning it.
Then K-pop demon,
they put Demon hunters back in the theater?
Yeah.
That's hilarious.
Yeah.
That movie can make $5 million every time you put it in the theater.
And then Bagonia.
Well, I mean, yeah, it was a, it was a smaller weekend,
but nothing really came out.
Yeah, no, nothing really came out.
And I think because they know audiences don't go on holiday, on Halloween weekend because it was on a weekend.
Right.
So they were like, people are probably going to be out and about, not really necessarily going to the movie theater.
So I think smart not to put it out.
Yeah.
I mean, look, November is about to pop.
Yeah.
Predator Badlands is next week.
I'm hearing good things about that movie, dude.
Yeah, I'm seeing it tonight.
Me too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Me too.
I see that tonight.
Running Man's next week.
Yes.
There's coin.
Let me say.
I'll go over what's coming out here over the next.
Here it is.
So over the next month, you really do have some good stuff here.
Let's start with this.
What's what happened?
Oh, there it is.
Is that the right one?
Okay.
So you've got November 7th, Christy, which you and I both saw.
Yes.
Norenberg.
Do you see Nuremberg yet?
I skipped out on the screening last week, so I've school in theater this week.
Okay, okay.
Norenberg and Predator Badlands, which is the big one, as far as what most audience
is we'll see if this weekend.
Prairie Redlands will win.
Now, the question is at what point,
what number that the studio is going to be happy with,
we shall see.
But November 7, November 14th,
is that now you see me, now you don't,
and running man.
I think you and I had this conversation.
This is going to really test the star power of Glenn Powell.
Yeah.
Because it's going up against the third film.
I think it's the third film.
Yeah, and the last two have made well over $300 million worldwide.
Okay.
So there you go.
So those two.
And then November 21st, Wicked for good,
it's just going to obliterate,
get out of its way, basically.
Although November 26th,
Zootopia is going,
Zootopia and said it a million times, dude,
you don't mess with family movies.
If you hit the right family movie,
you get those kids in the theater,
especially around that time.
Yeah,
money is going to flow.
And Zootopia is going to do very, very well.
Zutopia will beat Wicked overall.
Yeah.
but Wicked is going to do very well.
This is going to be,
it's going to be huge November.
Yes.
So, yeah, I got invited for Zootopia too, but it's on a Saturday at the end cap.
Not doing that.
I'm not doing it.
I say,
I haven't gotten that screening yet, but I'm sure it's coming.
And I got to double check with the other ones too because, like,
they're massive.
I already got the running man one.
I have to check in or now you see me, but Wicked hasn't come in yet.
But, I mean, again, hearing good things about it.
And then there's really not much that comes out after.
It's just Avatar, right?
Like, Avatar to me is the only one, the massive one.
I think there might be one other one.
Let's see.
Well, that's not true.
Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will do fairly well on December 5th.
I guess.
It'll do well.
It'll do.
It's got a very solid fan base.
Yeah.
What's this movie that I, until yesterday,
I didn't heard of this movie with Sidney Swin.
and Britten's Clinor and
and what's her name?
Oh, shoot.
Who's the one from Mean Girls?
Oh, my God.
A Renee Rap?
No, no, no, the original Mean Girls.
Oh, Rachel McAdams?
No, the other one, the blonde that I can't never get.
The blog is Rachel McCatoms.
Oh, no.
The Sea Free.
Yes, yes.
Man of Sea Freed.
Do you know what movie I'm talking about?
No, not at all.
Is it called The Housemaid?
Is that it?
Oh, the Housemaid.
Yes, Jeff has been talking about that one for a long.
time. Is that one coming out? That comes out
to the end of December. I don't think it's going to, yeah, it's coming out
the same weekend as Avatar. Right. Yeah, and then the SpongeBob movie
also comes out. The one that I'm really looking forward to that I'm seeing this month,
actually, it comes out in December that was Marty Supreme. Oh, yeah,
yeah, yeah. I haven't gotten a screening for that yet. I'm going crazy. You will. You will.
There's going to be tons of them. There's going to be tons of them. I think next year,
I'm just going to move to L.A. for two months.
Just during that time? Yeah, because I get invited to
so many movies and I can't go because I'm not going to drive up and down the road five hours of
driving to see if I know it's the it's literally we having this conversation my wife we're just
talking about it's really when we were thinking about moving in general it's like there's really
we're in a lot of places that to see everything that I could have gone you know like if I was in
Dan's position like god love Dan Dan has like 200,000 subscribers and so they you know like people
look forward to his yeah like I would drive he drives like sometimes three to five hours to
see stuff I totally get that because there you see the return right but I don't
don't think I'm going to drive five hours to see Hamnet and come right right exactly a hundred
thousand views on Hamnet you know it's so it's these little things you got to make the the deal so
I'm very fortunate that I get to still watch stuff yeah really close to the release yeah poor Dan I mean
he's got he's got to drive like six days just to get to one one one thing I and I feel so bad for him
he tells me he drives to these he drives to these things I mean yeah like he said it's gonna he's got
he has the benefit that we're like there are certain movies that I'll go and I'll go see
and I'm not and this is just me going into this city and I know I know that my out of the theater reaction people are going to click on more so than the non-spoiler review of it oh yeah yeah I know that but to me so it's like okay is it I'm gonna see it I want to check these things out yeah but you know for the job purpose of it is it gonna is it going to be worth it Dan has the benefit of people are tuning into his reviews because they want us he's so excellent at breaking down film yeah he's got the benefit that his reviews are going to do well and he's got the benefit that his reviews are going to do well.
Right.
So does it make sense for the gas that he's paying to get there?
It's like six hours to get there and six back.
Plus the two hours you're getting to watch the movie.
Yeah.
You know,
uncertain things.
So like,
the whole day.
Is it,
is that,
you know,
important for his overall business too?
And I feel like the answer is resounding yes.
Otherwise,
you wouldn't be doing it.
But yeah,
man,
it's,
it's crazy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Anyway,
what he does make of the,
the box office?
Do you think that this is something that should be,
concerned or no look it's nothing came out the last few you
the variety came out with a breakdown of the box office the last couple of months and it is not a
positive situation oh right what was it what was that we had that on there we didn't
recover what was can you break it down for us yeah just quite a few flops that have come out and
so what had been like a nice summer has now turned into a bit of a worry to be honest with you
from a lot of these studios so we'll see because we'll see how these films perform and
even the art house films that would normally do at least a little something
have been kind of underperforming.
So I think there's a real fear going on in the movie industry
about where we're at right now in terms of the box office
for the movies.
Because there's a lot of films that people thought
would be somewhat success or moderate successes
that have been just utter flops.
Well, I did see that.
And that's ultimately where the conversation started to spawn about
because after the Huntgate, they paid Julia Roberts $20 million.
Why are you paying Julia Roberts $20 million?
And so here's here's here was my here is five.
Well,
here's my conversation.
My thing.
Well,
first of all,
I didn't know the world.
What's it called at the world ends as the world?
What was that movie called what she was in on Netflix?
Oh,
God.
Yeah,
I don't remember that.
The Ismail one with her and,
you know how much money?
She got paid for that.
How much?
25 million.
That's,
well,
that's Netflix.
That's Netflix.
That's Netflix.
Now,
here is the difference.
Go ahead.
In a situation like that.
The Netflix one was one of their
highest rated movies. Yes. Got a lot of, a lot of buzz, a lot of viral clips from it, a lot of
different things from it. They knew what they were spending on and they got, and they got the
word out and they got that, that out there. I talked about this last week when this report came out.
You know who I do not blame for them spending $20 million on? Julia Roberts. If, if your,
if your price point, if John Roker's price point is $5,000 to do a
show. And you come in and you go, my price point is $5,000 to do your show and I'll do it for three
years at $5,000. I said, I can't afford $5,000. And you go, okay, well, that's my price point.
Yeah. And we really want John. We really want John and I pay you $5,000 a show to do it.
Yeah. That's on me. Um, it's on me. However, unless, Julia, I'm not bad. I know you not.
I know you not. Unless you're, unless, however, you're going, if Julia's pick up the phone of
looking on, I really want to do your movie.
And he's like, we don't have the budget.
And she's like, find the budget, mother.
Then that's a problem.
That's a problem.
But I highly doubt that that's what happened.
No, I just think they thought, well, listen, we got to sell the movie.
And they used her very much so.
Yeah.
And they've made a shift in their attitude and approach to these movies, a 20, where they want to spend money.
And they want to great, they got Julia.
And the Julia's got a quote.
And you got to meet that quote to get her in it.
Yeah.
And they thought, I think they thought this was going to be a better film.
that it was. So the 20 million.
They were taking the same shot that one battle after another was taking.
Yeah, right.
Like, hey, you know what? It's fine. Maybe we don't make our money back, but this thing's
going to be everywhere. Yeah, right. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
With studio of due. Yeah. Right. Right. Anyway, all right, box office talk. What do you think?
What do you make of it? Put your thoughts in there. Let us know.
We're going to get back. We're going to get your questions. Like I said, if we get to,
what did I say, John, what did I say? Did I say 90? We get to 90. I'll drop some of these
tidbits I've heard about Marvel. Come on.
We get to 90.

John, is it okay?
I know that you have your opinions on like, you know, AI and stuff too.
But is it okay to use AI to smack talk people?
Well, why did, yeah, sure.
I guess if you want to.
How about this?
Go ahead.
I can't hear it.
Oh, you can't hear it.
it.
You can't hear that?
It's too bad.
All right.
Damn it.
I wonder how I can get that.
Shoot.
I'll have to find that if I can find it.
But it's a good AI smack talk.
Let me see if you can hear it here.
Can you hear it when I do this?
No?
Barely.
But not anything that's legible.
All right.
Damn it.
It basically is an AI thing that says,
yes, they won the World Series.
congratulations the Dodgers, but Winston, you are a fake-ass fan.
It's really good.
It's really good.
You got to hold on that until Friday.
I know, I should.
All right, let's get to these questions.
Like I said, we get to 90.
I will drop some tidbits on what I've heard in 35.
Yeah, I think we get through.
You were at 35 last week and you almost got to 100, so you can do it.
But before we do that, John, it's a full revamp.
It's the John Rooka Channel.
What the hell is going on over there?
Yeah, that's see the new low.
Go go, see the new banner.
So good. It's so good.
Shout out to our boy there who did that for us.
And a big, big fan of everything that's going on design-wise on the channel.
And then, you know, we've got our shows that we're doing.
No Hot Mike tonight.
Jeff is out of town tonight, but we will be back on Thursday for it.
I possibly might go live before I head on off to Brutter Brad Land.
So we'll see how I feel.
I'm a nap this afternoon first.
But then we got stuff with the Hot Mike, sorry, the geek buddies, rather, spill the tequila
happening tomorrow night as well.
So reviews, out of theater reactions, all that kind of stuff.
plus some new content coming down the road,
some more like kind of short form commentary content
as things change on the channel as well.
So come head on over there.
We're 10 subscribers away from 40,000.
Help us get to 40,000.
I would really appreciate you all coming aboard.
The John Roker channel.
Thank you guys.
Well, there you go.
So make sure you check it out, help John get to 40 by the end of the year here.
Come on.
All right, let's see.
So question one, or number one, Nathan Drake, you jinxed the Blue Jays.
I did.
I accept it.
I absolutely did.
glad I bet the Dodgers and you were smart to do so.
I absolutely,
you got to own it. And I, I pulled
a big, stupid decision there by
saying that it was in the bag,
3-2 in Toronto. I had never right to be confident.
Yeah. But
Cardinals said, Nathan Drake,
Penny Wise took it easy on the OG kids.
This show is gnarly, but I love it. The clown will come
later in this season. He's a shapeshifter.
Yeah, I'm digging it so far. You like it
so far? I do. Yeah. This last
episode, yeah, I like that. It was pretty
brutal. I like that they're not pulling
punches on the commentary that they're making
that human beings can be just as horrific
as anything that's otherworldly. So
I love that, you know. Yeah,
I am the first, what?
Sorry, Joseph Ashley just asked
if Winston's at the parade today.
No, he's not. No,
I think he's doing something else that
he was supposed to just, you know,
however, we were supposed to, you know,
I wonder if he's going to be mad at me
because, I don't wonder if he's a thing
on doing on purpose.
Because he and I were supposed to watch the Demon Slayer movie today.
Oh, yeah, the movie.
Yes, yes, yes.
And I have to go into the city early today.
I've got that screening, but I also have a phone call that I need to get on for the Kickstarter thing.
And I had to reschedule it.
And I wonder if he's actually going to adjust his plans and try to go make the thing now.
Because I think he didn't do it for a shooting.
So maybe.
But I really dig the show, man.
I dig the show.
Yeah.
And I like the second episode better.
because I did not like the choice of the end of the first episode.
Oh, really?
I hated.
I hated it.
But I thought that they played off of that choice very well in the second episode.
Yes.
Yes.
They played off of it very well.
It was good writing.
So I was on,
I was on board with it.
And I wonder if he's,
I wonder if he's better just doing TV.
No offense to Muscietti.
Because, I mean,
these last two episodes, I think, have been really well directed.
And he's gotten some good performances.
And it's phenomenal.
Do you two?
I think, yeah, he only did two, I think.
But I like it.
So yeah, me too, me too.
Okay.
Nick Barclay became a YouTube member.
Good time to be a YouTube member.
Got a lot of unedited reactions up there.
We have a lot of exclusive stuff.
It's good time.
Mark Long, hello there.
Hello, Mike Joyce.
What's up, Mike?
Ford Jaden, your football team is cursed, Roka.
Both of our team is smelly for it.
Yeah, I mean, it's a, yeah, another quarterback injury, just like RG3.
And somebody did the superimposition this morning and showing it.
It was on the same yard line in that stadium against the same team when RG3 went down.
So it's just like, wow.
So it's heartbreaking.
It's his non-throwing arm.
So at least it doesn't, you know, it's not going to affect him throwing the ball,
but it'll be a few weeks before we see him.
I think we shouldn't play him at all for the rest of the season because our owners and our administration did a terrible job of constructing this team this year.
And he is paying the price for it, you know.
All right, next one after that.
And that is El Baba Young.
Smoke a fat bowl before the Demon Slayer movie.
Enjoy cinema.
I'm looking forward to it.
I'm looking forward to it for sure.
Okay, let's see.
Now, next one here.
Sorry, sorry.
We got 35 thus far.
35.
Not bad.
Okay.
So moving on down the line here today.
Thank you, everybody.
Andy Kumar thoughts on Shelby Oaks Oscar chances I didn't see I didn't see the movie
you see it John yeah yeah I haven't seen it yet I can't I saw I saw Bibb I saw
Bips and and Christy Lamier reviewed it though they didn't they didn't really like it
oh that's a shame they gave Chris a lot of respect right but they but they didn't
necessarily Bibs was very honest and Christian Bibs are fair like oh they're totally
fair yeah I like Christine Bips yeah yeah I mean it's funny because I normally don't
ever agree with bib so maybe i'll like it
i don't know
maybe so but i'm usually kind of half and half with christie sometimes we see in the same page
sometimes you don't but she's one of my favorite people in the world uh luke james one
howdy saw blue ruin at the weekend great film which one's that shot blue ruin i don't know
i don't know what that is i know blue room that's the one that's out with uh eithan hawk
but i don't know what that is isn't that what it is or isn't that what it is or
Is it Blue Ruin?
Oh, maybe it is Blue Ruin.
My bad.
Is that what it's called?
I don't know what he's talking about.
Okay.
Blue Moon.
Is that what it is?
Blue Moon?
Ethan Hawke, is that what he's doing?
I don't know.
A lot of people are saying that's the one he, Mike in the multiverse and he saw Blue Ruin.
So leave him alone.
Tommy, Tommy Zami.
Christian, something, man.
I just want to ask you about your Facebook page.
I'm glad you brought this up.
Why the old news content?
No, I've said about it.
Just curious to know.
No, it's not.
So the team that actually helps me run some of my social accounts,
they um with facebook facebook is now doing this thing they're updated they're trying to put all my old
content so it lives there not just youtube like all the stuff lives there um so they're putting
everything up there and so just deal with it until it gets updated and they're putting my old life
they're putting the entire library up on on facebook so that's that's how that's how it works yeah um yeah
because i saw someone last peter at tech peter was like uh your doctor strange two out of the
reaction is up on Facebook right now.
And then I talk to them and they're like re-updating the entire thing.
So I actually get a kick out of the comment.
It's a lot of,
there's a lot of interaction with the fans.
There's a lot.
And I actually get a kick out of it because it's like,
hey,
just,
guess,
it just found out President Kennedy was shot.
And it's like,
there's all these different things.
It's really funny watching it.
So if people want to go there and they want to comment and be and interactive with
some of the old ones,
then by all means,
please do it. So that's, that's why. This is why you made a death of salesman, a comment last week.
That was my, that was my old past. You're figuring of the absolute best. Did that post to recover?
Yeah, you got it? It took me 30 minutes to finish. I'm sure it did. Carlton Rutter, London calling.
Wow, busy week. Only just listen to last week's show. Shout out to John on part one of the Blair Witch Project on a on the Cinefiles. Oh, yeah, thank you. Yeah, yeah, we covered it to part two. We're recording part two today, so it would be out on Friday. But yeah, we want to do it as a Halloween movie.
Look, that film holds up.
That film holds up.
And I think unfairly vilified was Heather Donahue.
So it was nice to be able to give her her flowers as we watched.
Why was she vilified?
Yeah, like she won the Razzie for worst actress.
Oh, really?
Yeah, people after her like big time.
Wow.
I saw that in Tallahassee, AMC 20 over there in town.
Me too.
She was good in that movie.
I know she was good in the film.
But like apparently people went after her for acting and all that kind of do it.
And messed her up, by the way.
She changed her name a couple of years ago.
It's terrible.
Yeah.
Probably didn't know how.
beg that movie was going to be nobody. Nobody knew.
James Diesel saw Frankenstein last week by far. My number one. You saw it too, John?
Twice now. It's great. It comes out on Friday. I think I'm just going to do a reaction to it.
Okay.
Deltoro score cinematography should all be locks for noms. Allurte really impressed me too.
Yeah. I think the funniest thing happened on the air with Allorty. There was that
movie he's in with Daisy Edgar Jones. It's on the app, right? And I was like,
I'm like I don't get this guy everyone's talking about how great this guy is
I don't even see this the first time I've seen this guy was just not great and
Roxy goes wait you didn't let you went saltburn I go that's the guy in salt burning
I'm just kidding that guy's great he's he's good he's good is he good in this
you you are good yes he's great I think I think the best supporting actor category
is going to be stacked this year there are going to be people eliminated from
that category in the Oscars that are that are that's why David Johnson doesn't have a chance yeah yeah
no I know I really wish you would I think it's like it's not my best picture I think it deserves it
frank aside yeah really good huh I got it all right look I loved I remember being super surprised with
pinocchio yeah that Pinocchio was awesome I think he's on a run here man like a shape of water
nightmare alley Pinocchio and this realm I mean he's on a run yeah but here's the problem
second golden age but my man loves to spend money though they'll tour a
loves to spend my how much is how much how much i'm going to guess this movie should cost
65 to 70 i bet you this movie costs 150 million dollars i think it was too but let me see that's
ridiculous i love him but he spends i would never hire him he just spends too much money too
christian why i love him i love him he's one of the greatest people ever he is uh 120
120 i haven't seen the movie so maybe was was it worth oh it's all over he spent his money oh hell yes
It is gorgeous.
Yeah.
Okay.
120's not crazy.
Yeah.
120's not crazy.
The Lil Yankee.
Support for Christian,
losing the bet on the World Series.
Cool cat Broca.
As Yankees fan,
best have left it alone,
in my opinion.
New York and Washington injuries hurt too.
Yeah,
I know.
Look,
I was,
I was,
look,
when you get 220 odds,
you take the shot.
With them,
they made it all this thing.
I'm proud of that,
that bad.
It looked like it was going to happen.
It's not like you were way off base.
Yeah.
Well,
the other thing that,
you know, I saw somebody, and we're going to get to a super chat in a second saying,
like, goading me, saying, ah, look, the Dodgers won.
I'm like, I don't give a shit that the Dodgers won.
I just care that I lost money.
I don't care.
I mean, I don't really care that the Blue Jay's lost.
They beat the Yankees.
And I was rooting again.
I was going to root for the Dodgers if I didn't get those odds.
But it'd be like, oh, it would be nice.
The Dodgers win two in a row.
Good. Fine. It's fine.
But then, you know, Winston made me root against the Dodgers also.
Because that's, because he, some,
up he summed up what la sports fans do every la sports fan does that like oh wait a minute we we like them
now why because they're in the championship they're winning yeah and your team isn't that that's why
you're dodgers fan now you're a lakers fan now sure you are i mean i had season tickets during
a lot of the lean years in the two thousands for the dodgers now i mean full season takes like 25 30
game packages and i've been in many empty stadiums the dodgers stadiums right you know
I mean, like literally sitting at the top and then going almost all the way down to the field through the game because there weren't a lot of people there watching the game.
So yeah, you're right.
LA is very much a winner's down.
The Lakers, I think, is the only team that sells out.
Everything else is dependent on it.
Yeah, but even them because it's like it's like the hot ticket to have.
Right.
Like it's like the hot ticket.
If they were in last place, no one would care about them.
Like that's the different, like where you're from, where I'm like New York.
It's life here, dude.
Like again, like that again, using that kid as an example to Jets fans, like, I have.
so many friends who are Jets fans who are miserable.
They're miserable. They don't ban.
They go to the games. They watch the games and they expect the worst.
They don't tune out until they might be relevant again.
And that's,
Mets fans are like that.
Mets fans are like that? No, they're not. The Mets fans are pretty loyal,
dude.
That's what I'm saying. They're loyal.
Oh, super loyal.
They're a damaged fan base.
Yes.
100%. Yeah. And I really hope the Yankees got Pete Alonzo to really kind of
really do that.
Like, how does that work for you?
I really hope they get them.
Go pal.
Brown and Harbor are going to have to do some press over the next three weeks.
Somebody's definitely going to ask about it.
That's a great point.
Yeah.
That's a great point.
Yeah.
Now, the publicist could protect them from it, though.
And you can 100% say absolutely no questions about that.
Yeah.
You know?
And there's so many outlets who are willing to do it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I don't know.
45 so far, John.
45.
45.
Come on.
Motor roll.
Here it is.
Christian, your audio is a bit quiet.
I can't hear it to do.
Will Smith.
with Homer and Blue Jace choking.
Again, I don't care that they, that they choked.
And I don't, first of all, I don't think they choked.
They just think that they got, they got out played.
Punk and Dodgers win and Uso loss.
Christmas is over, no other gifts needed.
I mean, I'm telling you when we, did you watch it?
I did watch Saturday Night's main event because it was on Peacock.
I watched it with my little one.
That's the other thing I'm going to tell you I watched because I didn't have to pay
extra money for ESPN, never again.
But I did, but I did watch that.
And I think that the right people won.
I do.
But I think Jay did not wrestle a good match.
And I was really upset.
I was really upset.
Punk is struggling.
Punk's old man.
You got to help him get over.
And he bought me,
Jade.
I thought Jay did not wrestle a good match.
Punk is old.
You got to help him get over.
And I think Jay did him no favors a couple of times,
sandbagged them or bought a couple of moves.
And I was like,
come on, dog.
They were ready to hand you the belt and you were going to run with it.
And now you're going to like be a little
bit of a child like come on dog you think you think he was bummed that he had to
drop it yeah is that the report is that the reports or you just had a feeling oh it's just my
feeling i think with wrestlers botch matches is because they're hearts not in it or they're
not focused on what they need to be doing well to be fair even when he was in his big push he was
botching spots at what point does it become like what the fuck like
who are you who are you talking to right now yeah but how many times did i say that this guy is
not a main event guy well i never agreed with you that he was at
over to be a main event guy?
I never said he wasn't over.
I never said he wasn't over.
His quality is absolutely question.
I never said he wasn't over.
I said he didn't have the goods to be.
You can be over and not be a main event guy.
His entrance was super over.
It still is.
People are going to dance in the crowd and he's got like seven moves.
And he does it.
And he's terrible on the microphone.
Terrible.
So punk got is due.
Yeah,
but it should have been bigger.
Should have been.
But whatever.
Now he carries that title.
And he'll, it's, it's smart to have him.
Oh, him and Cody is champion.
Right now, Tony Khan is like,
ah, three of the three of his,
three of his wrestlers are champions over there now.
That's true.
James Diesel, how about Rabel and the Patriots?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's, it's an inch, it's going to, it's,
you never know what's going to happen.
Listen, Brabel's doing great.
He did great in Tennessee.
And what happened to the playoffs?
Choking dog.
So he's great in the regular season.
And he had some,
great teams of damn good teams in the
AFC couldn't even get him to a Super Bowl, right?
Derek Henry was your running back.
You know, so Brian Tannaill was a damn good quarterback
when he played under a variable of Tennessee.
They had AJ Brown, I believe,
at Tennessee is a receiver who won a Super Bowl with the Eagles.
They couldn't get the job done.
So we'll see what he does in the playoffs
when it really counts.
And before we give him his flowers.
Yeah.
Let's see.
that's a good idea actually some as i'm going through this i looked at some i'm going to i'm going
to ask the audience too i have my famka yonson uh interview going up on wednesday that's great man
um it was a full um it was a full hour dude um and it's going to be um it's it's going to be
on wednesday but i'm curious for the audience because i saw some suggestions who should i um
what shows should i reach out to to try to get on to um to promote the Kickstarter once it's on
I know. Obviously, John's the first person.
Well, Campia and Roker, the two that I reached out.
Yeah. I mean, of course, can't be a person.
Yeah.
Mepel, is there a main event on the men's side that could get you excited for
WrestleMania right now?
Um, I think, I would like to see Punk versus Cody for title for title.
That'd be cool.
Yeah.
People might hate me for this because we've seen it so many times.
But if you brought the madman back, you might as well put him up against Roman one more time.
Oh, Brock and Roman.
Yeah, Brock and Roman one more time.
It's been years since we've seen him wrestle.
Why not?
And like fucking steel cage, everything's on fire.
I don't care.
Like tear down the house, man.
That would be the way to go for me.
Yeah.
The Lil Yankee.
Additional support are Christians pending Kickstarter.
Let's F and go.
And John can't be a show came out.
I'm definitely going to,
John already said,
you'd be cool going up there to do it.
I got to check it out.
I got to go see.
Who else?
And I'm probably going to do full.
if not, I think this might be ambitious, but I was thinking like the week I launched doing five like
really long streams. Oh yeah. I probably definitely do maybe like on our on our Monday, John,
I'll probably start early in the morning. You come in your regular time. I have other people pop in.
Do I think just run like a full 24 hour. Not about 24 hours, but maybe like a full maybe let's see,
if I started at like nine and went until like nine, I probably do 12 hours. You're going Jerry,
you're going to Jerry Lewis. You're going Jerry Lewis. You're going Jerry Lewis here. Yeah, probably.
Probably. I got a I got a I got I'm getting this thing done. Yeah, I'm getting it done.
Mark Jason Ali. Did you both see Shelby Oaks in the end? No,
prevailing opinion is that the writing falls down.
Roxy's film was released this month with a new king named Wildcat. Yeah, she was on she was on the show
Tuesday and announced that. So we're excited to, um, to see that and her and she found out
that her scenes are in it. So I'm very very happy for her. Yeah, because she wasn't in the trailer.
So I was like, well, she's in it. She's in it. She got confirmation of it too. But like,
Yeah. Wiley.
Are you going to want a music supervisor for your show?
So I have to, Wiley, once I got to figure out, like I said, we're in the good stages right now where today's phone call is, like they signed off on the script.
The script that we have, you know, obviously what we're shooting on, there might be little changes and things too.
But this is pretty much our shooting script.
So we have that.
And now we're going over the Kickstarter goal.
And then hopefully with everything that we can do,
if that is in there,
then it's a possibility.
I can't tell you yes or no yet.
So I don't know yet.
I know that that's what,
I know that's your gig.
Josh Vasker's,
how about them Dodgers?
Hey,
they want it.
That's again,
I'm not,
I'm not a Blue Jays fan.
Just to let people know.
I,
they don't,
it's like you just,
all you're basically doing is rooting against my financial.
That's all you're doing.
My daughter did the same thing, too, my little one.
She goes, I want L.A.
to win.
We live there.
And I go, I was like, no, you don't because then I can, I said, I'll buy you another toy.
If we win.
And they lost, she's like, who won?
I go, the daughter, she was good.
I go, I'm not getting you a toy.
She's, I don't care.
Dodgers won.
Great.
Dingitz McNally.
Have either of you seen Begonia yet?
No.
I missed the screenings for it.
I had three screenings for it.
I couldn't make any of them.
I'm curious to check it out, but I feel like I haven't heard anyone's,
say they've seen it.
It's going to be on the app like any day now, right?
I'm waiting now.
Me too.
Me too.
Okay, 49 questions.
Hey, 49.
Go, pal.
I mean, really, who throws a shoe?
What's that?
Oh, my God.
It's driving me nuts.
What's it from?
It's driving me nuts.
You know it?
Is that?
No, my God.
I mean, really, who throws a shoe?
Oh, my God.
It's driving me crazy.
I know that.
Ah.
Oh, God.
What's this from?
It's dumb and dumber, right?
I mean, who throws, I mean, who throws a shoe?
Oh, no, it's Austin Powers.
Right.
Yeah.
That's exactly what it is.
I mean, really, who throws his shoe?
100%.
Yeah.
I haven't seen that in so long.
Joshua Gonzalez, glad my sarcasm translated from text.
It was hilarious.
It was really good.
Eclipse, I think if the Stanterverse continues in any shape or form, it should be R-rated animation.
I like that.
I love that.
Sure.
Yeah.
I'd like to see some, I really, I'm this.
is not our rated but i'd like to see some
Indiana Jones animated
oh yeah it could be fun right
you really i mean should the the
game showed what is possible and and what
voiceover work can be done 100%
100% Seattle CO
support thank you stengis magnally
support to get to that 90 better be good
harlough it's it's some good stuff
there's some good stuff in there come on we're still 40
away let's go people yeah uh dingus
throwing in a little super sticker there thank you
Thank you very little.
Okay.
Moving into 51 now.
And the next one here too, as we get to James Diesel.
Mason Thames has three number one movies this year.
First to do it since Jim Carrey in the 90s.
He's in one and two this weekend.
Get him for Cyclops.
What was this?
What was the third?
Oh, how to train your dragon.
Right.
That's right.
I like that kid.
Yeah, he's a good actor.
Yeah, he's a good actor.
He reminds me of Garfield a bit.
Oh, interesting.
reminds me at Andrew Garfield a tad when I when I see him.
I thought he was actually really good in that,
that movie,
the regretting you movie.
The movie itself is like a soap opera,
but it's,
but he was good.
Yeah.
Yeah,
I like him.
Interesting.
I mean,
you just put that in my mind.
He would be an interesting,
Spider-Man down the road once a,
or someone in the X-Men or something.
Yeah,
he's a big DC guy.
He's a big DC guy.
He wants to be,
he wants to be nightwing.
Oh,
yeah.
That could be.
I know.
That could be.
Uh, Dingus McNally.
Christian, I love Ming.
His reactions are great.
Things the best.
Please tell me you guys the chapter two.
What's next for him in the,
uh,
the avatar movies?
No,
not the avatar movies.
So Ming and I were going to do it chapter one on Halloween.
Sorry,
chapter two on Halloween.
That movie is almost three hours long.
Did you know that,
John?
Yeah,
a long movie.
So,
um,
we didn't because we didn't have enough time.
So we watched,
I'm actually,
as soon as John and I are done,
I'm going to make,
uh,
the long walk public.
And he and I watched that.
and then he's coming in this week and we're going to watch it chapter two so hopefully sometime this week
in chapter two will be up on the channel um but mings the best he's it mings the whole reason that i'm
not that i've gotten myself in shape is because of me well yeah yeah seattle kay out good
netflix and chill movie there's something about mary shall how or stuck on you
i mean out of those yeah something of mary's the only one that's good out of the yeah i agree
i agree yeah um the other one's just kind of not not good uh lazy
Francisco Lopez. I don't know why, but I feel like Paramount going to buy WBD is going to be too good to be true.
Ellison talking about WBD almost every day, never hear someone talking about things that they don't have too much like that.
I don't know. Am I crazy? The only reason is that most people don't have all the money in the world.
Yeah, I'd get questioned about it. Right. That's the difference.
Is that people who normally talk about this, I'm going to do this. They don't have the money to don't have that kind of money.
Yeah.
Like it's the same thing I said, like when Elon Musk said he was going to buy Twitter,
but oh, he's not going to get it.
I'm like, if he wants it, he will get it.
That's true.
Yeah.
That's, that's it.
If Ellison really wants it, he will get it.
Yeah.
That's, that's the bottom line.
It's like, that's what that kind of money and power can do.
It's just the question is at what point if you, because you know, though, that's the thing
that when you have that kind of money, you know that everyone knows you have that kind of money.
Right.
And that they can say, well, you know what?
no we're not going to give it to you.
Maybe I would have given this guy a little less because I know he might
lose him.
I'm not going to lose you.
And the question is like how long can they do that for that's why I said bid number one,
no thanks,
bid number two,
no thanks.
What else you got there,
rich boy?
And eventually the question is,
do you really want it that bad or are you going to go down?
They're not taking advantage of me.
So they're just trying to like up my price.
F them.
That could happen too.
100%.
If he wants it,
he's getting it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
brand back now became a new YouTube member I love it so many new YouTube members it's amazing
I'm very excited for that Seattle CAO more support for Roka thank you see
and I like to thank you guys I didn't do this and I'm sorry that I didn't do this
we over the weekend we had 210,000 subscribers hey so yeah thank you guys we just hit
210 really appreciate everybody who's been on board and who's been here since the beginning
so thank you guys and here's to another 210 yeah
A. Rago.
Did you see that new Rachel McAdano sent help trailer?
No, what's that, John?
You know what that is?
Yeah, that's the Sam Ramey.
The new Sam Ramey.
Oh, okay.
Where she has stuck on the island with Dylan O'Brien.
And she's just like employees, been abused by her boss.
Her boss is Dylan O'Brien, a younger guy.
And now she's stuck on the island and he has to depend on her to survive.
So interesting.
That is interesting.
Yeah.
Okay.
I like both of them.
Yeah, the trailer was good.
Okay.
A. Rago. I saw an article
that the guy driving the Jeep in the Pennywise show is the same guy from the Shining.
Right. The guy who had also the Shrine. Yes, Catman Struthers played him in the Shining.
And now he is that character, which makes sense because in the Shining,
he had the same ability to be able to the psychic ability. And now he's got it in this.
So yeah, it makes, I like how they, I like how they did that,
that it all ties in together. Yeah. Like they're creating a Stephen King
without being overt about it.
Yeah. And they did that in the books.
right 100%
dingus magnally have either one you've seen the chair
company on HBO only tim robinson
can make a big conspiracy about chairs no i don't
know what that is yeah i haven't seen that one yet but everyone
i've seen the reviews of a pretty positive
i don't know what it is yeah tim porr pray porter
sorry tim i say timpeter
then i say sorry tim tray porter
i saw centers in i max in saturday
in new york the movie
the crowd was great it's it's a great movie
it's a heavy millimeter
i'm gonna have a hard time making my top ten
oh yeah it's crazy because it feels top heavy doesn't it it feels like this this year is top heavy
yeah it does and that because like once you get past the first 10 to 15 it there's like a drop off
i know i know yeah tray also said i saw jennifer laurence arrived for the my die of my love premiere
the theater i was at saw the back of her head inside of her face so that was my 15 second
brush to start i was supposed to go to that premiere i didn't do it i didn't do it uh i'm just i told you i'm not
I don't think people understand.
I'm not a big Premier guy anymore.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't love it.
I don't love it.
I'd rather see the screens.
People are good.
That's always my favorite comment.
Well, if you did that, you wouldn't be able to get to go to the premieres, would you
shell?
I'm like, I hate them.
I hate them.
What you,
how can I say this?
I'm older than Christian, right?
So when I got to Collider, to me, preview, going to a premiere was like a big deal.
And I was jealous the first year, envious, I should say, the first year, because
like you guys went to Star Wars and then I got to go to
Infinity War that premiere that was amazing was great there's some really good
experiences so effing exhausting and when it's over because you go to the
after party and you're glad and everything and you're just by the time it was over
I was like I don't ever need to go to a premiere ever again well that's the thing
if there's if there's parties the food is is worth going for right like that's
that's kind of where I like okay fine you know I like I like the food and stuff too
I couldn't give a shit about seeing celebrities.
I don't get.
But the thing that I really don't like about them is when there's no party to.
Like, hey, you want to go to the premiere?
Am I guess there the screening?
Hell no.
It starts at 8 o'clock.
I won't be home until like midnight.
Right.
I won't get my out of theater reaction now.
No, no, thanks.
I always choose the regular.
I'll take a five o'clock screening every day of the week.
Agree.
Every day of the week.
So what I would tell people is.
use a different insult for me when it's like,
oh, he doesn't get together.
He gets to get the premieres.
Different insult.
Wrong guy.
Louis Seria Ramirez.
Apollo para mis Latinos.
Ouch.
Yep.
The doyers.
The doyers.
There you go.
It's my show.
Otherwise, if you want,
if you want correct pronunciation,
there's two ways you're going to get it.
You're either going to get on John's channel or me saying,
Aja, Arjona.
Alona.
Arjana.
And what he's saying is support for my Latinos.
So a polloo for you.
A pollo for me's latinos.
The badass times.
Ben Foster gets the nom.
He should get one.
Does he finally get the career blowup he's deserved for years?
I don't think so.
It's not going to be big in a film for that.
No, but I still think that he'll keep working and getting roles because you never hear,
I don't like that guy.
It's always, I love Ben Foster.
Yep.
Yeah, FY Blue Ruin is a classic.
I don't know what that is.
Okay.
Oh, so it's a film from 2013 or revenge.
Oh, okay.
All right.
I guess it was playing here.
Joey Pedrus.
chance with the winner's sale, it's just a way if we pump up the company's valuation
and tights more investment rather than actually selling.
Maybe a dumb question.
Notice your stock taking up the last fews.
100% that could also be an option.
Of course it could be.
It's like if Ellis, if Zazlov was like, you know, let's see what we can get.
It is a good offer.
We'll take it.
If not, build up our stock and, you know, and let's take another run of this thing.
But I think John was right, though.
I think the whole reason was his intention was, I'm going to buy it to sell it.
Yeah.
Can we stop for a say?
Look at this.
I like Joey's face here.
Joe's like,
Hey guys,
I know something.
I'm not gonna,
you know,
and I'm with you.
I like,
you know what?
Taking these,
these photos is not easy.
He's choosing what look to have
on these avatars.
Oh,
on the avatar.
Yeah,
I'll look on the bottom.
I'm not,
I'm not,
I'm not,
I'm not,
I'm going to love to Joey for the shot.
I like it.
Joey's a good photographer.
Uh,
you're talking about which Joe,
are you talking about Joey Pedrus.
Yeah,
yeah.
Oh, okay.
Joey,
Joey,
I got to, Joe, you got to make sure one, if you, on the members, I think, I think, Joey, I believe Joey's still a member.
I hope so.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So Joey, if, when I, because Joey gets some great ideas for the Kickstarter when we were going over it.
When I have all this stuff, I'd love to have Joey come into the members team to talk about.
So I'm going to do a full thing.
What's up, John?
This is my Joey imitate.
Oh, that's a good one.
Joey's great.
A. Rago, saw Doctor Sleep, and it's one of those movies.
The more times I watch it, the more I like it.
Do you feel the same?
I recall when it first came out.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan.
Do you know, I've never seen it?
Neither have I.
Yeah, I've never seen that one.
That might be a good one to do it.
I've never, I've never seen it, though.
I've never seen it.
I know Rebecca Ferguson's in it, right?
She is, yeah.
And you and McGregor, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I've never seen it.
But I remember people seeing and digging it.
And what is it?
Is it a sequel to The Shining or is it?
Yeah, it is a sequel to Grown up.
Okay.
It is a game.
Right, right, right, right, right.
That's right. Mad Sinister Mackell.
Last Snyder says Chris Hanson will have a cameo on Predator and Badland.
That's pretty funny.
Also, I've been impressed with Angel Studios,
sketch and truth and trees and are great.
There you go.
Angel puts out,
I feel like I put it like five movies a year.
Yeah, yeah.
Luke James says Blue Ruin is 2013 directed by Jeremy Selnir.
Oh, I got a double rich.
Okay.
Interesting.
Okay.
I don't know what that is.
Julius Wyatt.
Why was Jaden in the game?
Hope he gets well.
Yeah.
The game was way over.
I don't know because the coach was stubborn.
Yeah.
It's ridiculous.
Let's see, Tray says, I also saw a begonia earlier
in that day on Saturday.
It was his wild-ass movie with great performance.
His last 10, 15 minutes was like, what to have for me?
It was a solid 3.5 out of four.
Okay, 3.5 out of four.
That's a big score.
That's a big score.
Yeah, that's a real big score.
I hear great things about it.
But I'm not, but you know what the thing is, though,
I'm not the, I mean, I respect Narcos a lot.
Respect him a lot.
Yeah, yeah.
But I'm only, I think that I like two.
of his movies. Okay. I like
the favorite. Yes.
And I love poor things. Yes.
Love poor thing. Not a
big sacred deer guy. Neither would
not a big lobster guy.
Oh, I love lobster. I know. A lot of people
do. I'm not a big, not a big fan of the of. And I didn't see the last one.
Oh, kinds of kindness was a waste. Okay. I didn't see the last one.
So, but, you know, so maybe, so maybe it could be one of the, the previous two.
So we'll see. Maybe he splits. Maybe it goes past 500 on this one.
A. Rago, watch 12 monkeys again. Great movie over time. You think this movie was ahead of its time and would it do better if it came out now?
Hard question to answer. I think that it is absolutely a great movie. I think it was ahead of its time. Would it do better if it came out today? I don't know because it'd probably be out on Netflix.
Yeah, probably. It's probably a Netflix movie at this point. 100% correct. Also, Terry Gillian was never breaking the doors of the, blowing the doors off the box office. So it was no matter when you dropped it, it was never going to make a crap done of money. It was real good.
Yeah, I think people are saying Adam Ray to reach out to and I'm going to reach out to Bert and whether they get back to me again.
I don't know.
I'll reach out to Andrew Santino too.
I'm going to reach out to everybody.
Now, I'm going to guarantee I'm probably going to get, I'll get a conversation.
You know, Andrew always, you and I go back and forth every time.
But we'll see.
We'll see.
Gregory dot Roka support.
I'll watch that hot mic crossover.
I've been on before.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then geek buddies too.
Yeah.
So it always kind of come off.
Yeah, I got to do both.
I do both.
Wiley Todd, I read Tom Seleck memoir.
He spent a whole chapter on his love for Cats the Musical.
Hey, Willie!
That's so good.
It's hilarious that he loved, Tom Seleck.
Where's your old Tom Ben?
Go, pal, random task, throw his shoe.
Oh, jobs, that's true.
Who throws his shoe?
Now I remember very well.
65, John, 65.
So close, guys.
So, Gregory.
I'm a Twins fan. Happy for L.A.
I was for Blue Jays. Yeah. Same.
Anthony, Roebel.
As a Dodger fan, Winston had a lot of root for us.
All his real team suck.
Anthony, tell him, all of you Dodger fans,
you real Dodger fans, need to tell Winston that.
It can't be one of these things like,
hey, yeah, come join us.
You say, no, you stay where you are rooting for the Rangers.
He's a Rangers fan.
He is a Texas Rangers fan. He's a Rangers fan.
He's not a Dodgers fan. He's so full of it.
He's a Rangers fan.
So everybody tell Winston that he is,
Not allowed to go to the parade.
They should have flyers made up to put up at Dodgers Stadium.
If you see this fan, do not let him into the state.
Winston, stay out.
You know what?
I realize I could play the audio here.
I'll play the audio here.
Hold on.
It's really good.
It's a shot of Winston with his hair all for his down.
Let me see if I can find it.
Listen here.
Yes, they won the World Series, but you, Winston, you are a fake-ass fan.
Wow.
Winston, who is your team to root for next going to be?
because he sent me some dancing emoji after they lost.
What?
Again,
I'm not a Toronto fan and you're not a Dodgers fan.
So stop this.
Josh Vascovich.
Predictions for Super Bowl and next year's World Series.
I always put,
I always put the Yankees in the World Series.
They don't do it.
I think we're getting a Subway Series next year.
I don't mean that.
I don't mean that at all.
Well, last year was our best shot and didn't happen.
Yeah.
No. Super Bowl?
I think I'm going to run it back.
I think it'll be Dodgers, Jays again next year.
But Jay's, you're talking about the World Series.
What about the Super Bowl?
Super Bowl, I think it's tougher, especially after Green Bay lost over the week.
Green Bay had been my number one team in the United States.
They lost to the Panthers of all people.
Right, right.
And then you saw, you saw Kansas City lose to the bills.
So are the bills back in motion now?
So, I mean, right now it feels like Buffalo versus Philly.
It feels like way to me when all is said and done.
But you know, you can to count out Seattle.
God help Sam Darnold is actually turned in new life.
So we will see, man.
We will see.
Legend M.
600,
what's some of the coolest Halloween costumes you see?
I'll tell you what I saw that was cool.
Go ahead.
It wasn't necessarily different,
but I thought it was cool.
So there's where I live now, John,
it is the perfect place that I,
my kids live now because like the whole town is like the movie Halloween
without the murder.
You know, like where,
you know,
like Halloween when everybody's walking around the street.
and everybody's got the costumes on and it looks like,
well,
what town is that?
That's the town I live in.
It was everything was going,
like every house,
everybody,
like it was,
it was the most festive Halloween.
And I'm not a big Halloween guy,
but even I was like,
this is cool.
Like there was like a pizza truck.
Someone had a pizza truck on the lawn.
It was so good.
It was amazing.
So I saw like a 10 or 11 year old kid
dressed up as Freddie Kruger.
I thought that was awesome.
The fact that those movies still stick around to this 12,
11, 12 year old kid. I just thought that was cool.
Yeah, we sat out and gave candy for three and a half hours.
Same thing. Like our neighborhood where we live in San Diego, very big residential neighborhood.
It's the only time I like actually talk to the neighbors and talk to the neighbors' kids is Halloween.
So I like to do it and give it candy and see the one kid dressed up as the terror fire cloud.
Oh, how do you know his series?
Why are your parents letting you dress up like this?
He had the, he had the honk thing. I was like, what?
Yeah.
Have you seen those movies?
I won't watch them.
I watched one and I was like,
this is asking too much of me.
I'm never going to watch a movie.
Gregory Depp,
feeling Washington,
Roca,
Vikings court about hurt often too.
Yeah,
it's just not,
nothing's working for us on both.
Johando TV,
you probably talked about before,
but did you watch Shelby Oaks
from your old buddy suckman?
I have talked about it.
No,
I haven't seen it yet.
I missed,
well,
I never got an invite for the screen.
Tried to get him on to do interviews.
You guys was doing interviews.
everybody try to get an interview i couldn't get an interview with him um so i do want to see it
eventually but i didn't get a chance to see it yeah that's weird they wouldn't they wouldn't go on
he was in new york i mean he didn't say no but he just said i'll give you i never never heard from
him i saw him on every other freaking show um but it happens uh so rinaldo leon hey guys
is evitr really making two billion or less it's gonna get it's it's gonna get close i think it makes
one point six i think it makes two that's not a crazy bet no you know you
You don't doubt James.
And I think people are saving their money for Avatar.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I would not be surprised.
Yeah, it's, it's an event.
Gregory Dot had a great Halloween at home.
500 kids of people.
You too.
We, again, I'm getting used to my new neighborhood because like the thing is,
what we used to do is I'm so, and I said this one,
I'm, in L.A., we put out the candies.
Yeah.
And by the end of the night, these kids came,
and he took the whole like half the thing and i chased them down the street and i said put it back i'm like
there are other children that are coming through put it back and there's all there's these older
kids whatever of course and it was happening often so i'm like i'm not doing this anymore so we stopped
we stopped doing that so i got really skeptical with doing it it's like an honor system here too everything
it's like it i don't know where i'm living it's like it's something something something on a pleasant
film and it's it is it is it was wonderful and people were walking through and they were like you know
It was like really nice.
And we left the thing out.
But then I came back at night because I thought that's when everybody was coming back.
Yeah.
Everybody starts like 3.34 o'clock as soon as everybody gets out of school.
And then it's shut down by like 7, 8 o'clock.
I was like, wow, surprised.
But a lot of candy left in the house.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But it was fun.
We had a good Halloween.
Yeah.
Luis or Ramia is worth it.
Love the show.
Thank you.
Thank you, Louise.
Appreciate that.
Okay.
Dingus McNally.
what would you say is your favorite theater moment with an audience?
Mine is still no way home.
A dude literally shouted.
It's effing Toby.
That's a fun one.
I have one that I've told a million times over,
and it's just because this guy's delivery was out of control.
It was the Pinet of the Apes from 2011 with James Franco.
And when when Caesar says, no.
Yeah.
His black dude goes, God damn.
It was the best.
It was the best.
The whole theater lost it because it was so genuine.
Yeah.
It was so genuine.
It was so real.
It was such a real reaction.
And it was it was warranted.
It was warranted.
And it was so good.
I loved this.
So that's one that always seems out to me.
I,
you know,
the Spider-Man,
No-Wa-home is great.
But nothing's going to be Avengers Assemble.
Oh, no, sorry, on your right.
On your right.
On your right.
Yeah, it was great.
People lost their mind.
That's great.
Yeah.
The badass times.
For the love of God, bring Finstack back.
So here's a funny story about him.
So I called him randomly because, you know, you never know when he's in it.
I pick up.
Sometimes you call him and you don't hear from him forever.
And it's in a golf course doing God knows what.
So I tried him.
And then I talked to my buddy, Winkleman, who I've told the story about many times over with wear a jacket and other things on the show.
So I was talking to him for a bit.
And he knows.
And he and Tom and I were very close friends.
So randomly Tom tells us this calls in the middle of it.
So Winkleman goes, you got a three way of the call in.
So we did.
And we're talking.
And he just told me such great Finstock stories about a John Travolta picture and other things that just, I got to get them on the show to tell these stories.
They were, they were just next level stuff that would have been, it would have been amazing.
Like Shmo's no stories for sure.
Go, pal.
who says the freaks and geeks DVDs have a story a funny story about Ben Foster he played the
intellectually disabled kid in the pilot did he really put in a ton of work which makes sense he's so
good yeah he's so good um and then joe hendo tv have you watched white as kids you know one of the
people in the show is that craggers of weapons no i've heard about him obviously doing it but no i've
never i've he came from comedy so no i never i never saw it did you ever watch it i think that was a
canadian one i don't think i watched it okay yeah okay um i heard it's
funny though go pal when they brought ben back later he knew it wasn't that kind of show and just a quick
gag so he just showed up and winged it i don't realize he was on it was like yeah i didn't watch i
didn't watch that show sorry sam yeah uh jay anderson new member thank you jay i love that
uh dug developer very nice to see nev campbell still kicking at 30 plus years and scream seven
which actress who got hot in the 90s do you wish made a comeback julia roberts
I thought this was going to be a comeback thing for the for the awards.
It's not.
I think they've all tried the ones who were.
Sandra Bullock.
Sandra Bullock has tried.
Cameron Diaz is tried.
Well, she's coming back.
Cameron Diaz.
She's been out.
She's been retired for a bit.
Yeah, I don't know what I'm saying.
But the film she's come back with haven't been that strong.
Winoa is still around because.
Winona is probably doing the best right now.
Yeah.
Sherald's still.
Fifer, Bassett, Reese.
Still doing things.
It's true.
very strong Alicia's even back. Silverstone's even back now.
But he's saying he's saying making a big comeback.
That's I'm saying. They're all still around so they can't come back.
That's true. That's true. That's true.
Gallagic geeks had to send one in. I need a Marvel short to make. I know. 71. 71.
19. 19 is what we need here too. No, no. It's not that Princess. It's not that he wouldn't do my show.
He was he was slammed busy with stuff too. And I think I reached out to.
him too late. It's not like he was like, no, I'm not doing your show. It's just the fact that he was
doing a lot of different shows. Yeah, it was timing. It was timing. And I talked to him,
I talked, I text them after the movie came out and I, you know, I literally told him. I said,
look, the Kickstarter arm started was a big inspiration. So no, that's being very clear there.
It was a matter of this scheduling. I'm sure. Eclipse. I became an AMC A list member just to see
Avatar four, four times in a week. I'm sure. I'm 100% sure it's going to make at least the same
amount as a second movie it very well might because the second movie was i think most people thought
was better than the first yeah yeah yeah and it's just so much there's just events to see in the
theater they really are Doug developer rewatched dead poet society found mr. Perry Perry over the top
and poorly written really telling his son to quit quit the plan opening night can't even act as a
hobby even my Asian dad isn't that strict well Doug that was from the 1950s bro yeah it was it was a
very different time yeah very different time and that was a guy who was born in
in the late 1800s.
Yeah.
Actors,
and actors aren't really seen as, like,
you know,
reputable things to feedback that.
Yeah,
it was very,
very different.
Bobby Jackson,
I first saw him manage you can do
in a good place and have watched his career
with the greatest interest ever since.
He's great.
Yeah.
He's great.
I really like him a lot,
and I thought he was so good in that Freakier Friday.
All right now,
this is the last one.
Oh, no.
Right now,
at 72.
Gregory Dobb.
I ran out of candy.
Blocks closed.
No car traffic.
Oh,
that's good.
Well,
there you go.
We had people parking all over their streets here.
It was a little scary at times.
Okay.
So San Diego streets, yeah.
I think San, where did E.T. take place?
Was that San Diego?
Good question.
Probably.
I feel like it was because I feel like the kind of streets there.
Yeah, yeah.
Where is E.T. set?
Let me say, go pal.
I didn't get Michelle Pfeiffer until one fine day.
Somehow that was the one that got me.
When HBO would show the same movie all the time for a month.
month. For me, it was Scarface.
Oh, God, yeah.
She's so hot.
We just did four episodes on Scarface for the Cinephops.
We broke that movie down line by line, dude.
What a great experience.
I just watched it again. I wish that I didn't because I feel like there's no way that
Steph has seen it.
Oh, yeah.
I should probably watch it again.
It's so good, man.
I don't think E.T. was in L.A.
San Fernando Valley.
Yeah.
It was in L.A.
Dengis.
I want to shot a super sticker.
And then.
Legend, what do you think about the Seahawks?
Last game was far.
I didn't, I'm going to be honest,
I didn't watch a lot of football this week.
They never chance to.
Yeah, they played well last night
against a very, very terrible secondary
in my Washington commander.
So, I mean, I don't want to put too much stock in that.
Because we saw the weekend what happens when a team
plays a real defense or a decent defense like the Colts found out,
playing the Steelers.
So, you know, it happens.
15 away.
Oh, okay.
As we wrap up.
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
Next time.
We gave it a shot.
We gave it a shot.
I'll try again tomorrow with some of the stuff.
that hopefully no one else breaks it.
But before we doing anything else, John, where can the good people find you?
Please, at the Roka says on all social media platforms, we'd love to have you aboard following me there.
And of course, my YouTube channel, YouTube.com slash John Roka says, come on and hang out there, subscribe.
We're 10 away from 40,000.
Get us across that line so we can march to 50,000.
Really would appreciate it.
Hey, Christopher.
10 people away?
Yeah, 10 people away.
Come on.
Are there 10 people in here who haven't?

Oh, pal. Sorry. I already subscribed. That's it was all we got to do now. So now,
now John only needs nine. Nine. Oh, no. They're starting to fire him in there. John,
hold on. Hold on. Oh my God. Movie madness. Let's go Dodgers. Saw Bogonia, a very
your ghost film i dug emma stone and jesse plemmons are my frontrunners for the oscar this year i got to see i got to see it

the real regis batman batman commentaries and i had never seen batman or robin before oof it it's bad
so there's there's quite a few because i know that um step has seen i'm think because step has seen i'm think
seen Batman and Batman begins.
Right, right. I might watch both of those
with her again. Oh, okay. Because she
hasn't seen
Batman Forever and
Batman and Robin. Right. So we might
do those together. Yeah, they're brutal.
They're brutal. Well, I like Batman forever. I don't mind it.
It's dated as F. Oh, yeah.
Batman Robin is way worse. It is.
Aidan also says, when I heard,
I wish I knew, and
it shocked me.
And I was crying laughing a few minutes.
One of the highlights of my weekend.
I wish I knew.
It's such,
it's,
do you,
what was the last thing you watched that movie,
John?
Oh,
God.
I've never finished it.
Oh,
wow.
So that scene,
that scene,
he's,
she asked him like a question.
I can remember,
it's such a ridiculous question that you should know the answer to me.
I wish I knew.
And it's,
I'm like,
that's what you just use that for everything.
I wish I knew.
I left after the motorcycle race with Alicia.
I was like,
this is so,
Yeah. I couldn't handle it anymore.
Go pal. A whole team injured.
Maybe time to cut off this year.
Yeah. We lost four players the season.
The thing is coming in.
Uh-oh. Legend. We're getting close, Sean. 85.
85. Football rocks.
Seahawks beat the Steelers, by the way.
Yeah, they did.
Alex says, support for Sadie for the Adria-A-Honah anxiety.
I'm going to send her this. I'm going to screenshot this.
And I'll see what she says.
Hold on.
Do it. I got to use the restaurant work. You do it.
All right. Go ahead. Hurry up.
All right. If we're going to get tonight, you know.
All right. You know what? Call Sadie Harlow.
That's what I should have done. Watch this.
Let's see she picks up.
Hello?
Hey, you're on the air.
Why? I wanted to ask you your honest opinion.
What do you think of Adria Arjona?
God.
honestly
I think she's a good actress
no I think she's a good actress
I don't see her as Wonder Woman
I liked her and I think she's beautiful
and I think she's
But no how do you feel
But how do you feel about how I say
Adria or Honour
I think it's unnecessary
You're white
What is that mean?
All right goodbye
I hung up my wife
What does that mean?
I can't say it because I do I sound too white
I wish Rocha was here for that
I wish she would
I wish she would have seen that
we hit 90 by the way
so it's all
um go pal
maybe haven't seen forever since college
with fun
um
so john
can you hear me
so we hit we hit 90 i'm gonna
I'll do it all right
but I taught I called my wife
in the meantime
and she said I asked her
why why it bothered her
about age after she said because I'm white
saddle tail also subbed
but still banned
oh who banned
Who banned?
I guess you did.
Gregory Duff.
Did you hit 40, by the way?
No, I'm at 94 right now.
All right, right.
Batman is usually good, usually wild diffuse takes each one.
Thank you, Greg.
Jay Weiss, support.
This is all I have.
Love you guys.
Thank you, Jay.
Gregory Dopp, support for the news and Roka Cheerios.
Mike Joyce, Batman and Robin is so bad.
It's good finish at Roka.
It's true.
Kayla, go Pat.
Stop that.
All right.
Let's see.
So this is what I got.
you know that let me let me make sure i bring it up so i don't uh oh there's more there too
and i'll and i'll bring that up in a second okay all right uh give me a second i got to bring it up
and it's some interesting stuff i think it's interesting and i'm curious what you guys think
too john on on hot mic if you want to play off we'll do we'll do of course you can tell me um
but i got to find it where where this started all right for it was he finally youtube dot com
slash John Roker says 39,994 subscribers.
Yeah. Oh, good. All right. Wow. There's a lot more than I thought. Okay. So there are,
you know that that trailer just came out of Doomsday? Yes. The one that the comparison,
the breakdown of that trailer. Apparently there are multiple versions of that trailer. Oh.
Multiple. Interesting. They're trying to look at which one that they are going to do. Okay.
Um, definitely going to be releasing that with, uh, with Avatar.
Um, the rumor that I heard is that there's, in one of them, um, Peggy and Steve are in.
Oh, yes.
That is no surprise, but no costume.
They have no costumes.
Oh, interesting.
Okay.
Um, but we'll, but we'll see.
Yeah.
Because I heard that he, uh, he is the reason, he is one of the big reasons why Doom is pissed.
Yeah.
What Steve did in, um, in end game.
So, yeah, we'll see.
Let's see.
Some of the other things that there's quite a few other ones.
Do you want to take down this GoPats comic?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely, definitely.
We're going to cook it out.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
Okay.
So one of the things they could be, they could be in the X-Men,
because they're going to be leading, everyone knows they're leading with the X-Men.
Cyclops is going to be a heavy push with him in the Summers fans.
Oh, in the summer.
So Wolverine wouldn't be a big focus.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then this was the big one that I heard is that maybe, maybe you know this right.
I didn't know this.
Okay.
So we know that Patrick Stewart is going to be making an appearance here as Professor X that we know.
Yes.
Apparently he's done with acting after this.
Wow.
That's it.
Apparently this is it.
Apparently he's stepping down.
No surprise.
And then, yeah, there's a.
there's going to be a total of, well, the other, this is a kind of the last one,
there's a few other ones, but this is, this is the last one I want to give here today.
But it's going to be a total of three earths that are going to be colliding in Doomsday.
And, and Battleworld is the result of it.
Oh, nice.
So they're leading to battle.
That's what I hear.
That's, and there's a lot more there, but I think I gave you guys some juicy tidbits there.
So Gregory Dot, Dopp, shoes thrown on air verbally, Christian Dodges.
Yep, that's what I did.
Prince positive says rewatch Wicked
for the 12th time last night.
It's still a masterpiece and I can't wait to see how
shoe handles how the story ends.
The song's in part two are more emotional
and Cynthia will be incredible.
I think so.
It's kind of like my dark horse right now
to win Best Picture.
It's possible.
I don't think you're crazy.
Karen, for Roker, there you go.
Hey, Karen.
Rewatch Shining from Joe Ryder.
And it made me wonder your thoughts on Kubrick's with actors
and whether it's excusable for the end results
or if he'd get canceled today.
He would definitely get in trouble today.
If you get it with the Shelley, the Shelley Deval stuff, definitely.
Watching those clips is really, really tough.
Yeah, it's a different time.
Josh Vaskeridge.
