Starting point is 00:00:00 The Thunderbolts looking maybe to be not just a Marvel movie that they need, but something that a lot of people are going to dig. The new movie was screened, and it's getting a lot of rave reviews. It's my prediction going to come true. This is going to be one of the highest rated Marvel movies, at least the best one out of this year for sure. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:00:27 We're going to talk about it. China might not even see it. Why? Well, because the terrorists. Apparently China's going to say, no, no U.S. movies. Uh-uh. Is that going to happen? Is that going to hurt them too? We'll discuss that. Jen Ortega says, let me tell you the real reason why I left Scream 7. And it was a lot of, it was a reason that a lot of people may be thought. And Roxy's got TV picks. So we got that and more on the Christian Harleaf show today with myself. And of course, Roxie Shrier, otherwise I would have just lied to you by saying that she had TV picks. So I didn't lie. She's here. It is the Roxy Stryor
Starting point is 00:01:07 show with me, Christian Harleff. Let's do it. Are you ready? Yeah, me too. Talk? Oh, wait a minute. That's not the intro. Oh, see? I tried to get clever. And now that's what happens. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the show, Christian Harleff show here today with myself and Roxanne Stryor. Hello, Roxy. How are you? Hi, Kristen. How are you? How are you? It's nice to see you. How are you doing?
Starting point is 00:01:46 I don't even know what is. What are you trying to do right there? I don't think I've trying much these days. Okay. That's fair. I found a new voice last night, actually. It's one of the things I do when I drive in my car. And I find all the things I can do.
Starting point is 00:02:02 That's the voice. That was the witch voice that you did for Shoes and Beef. Yeah, a little bit. A little bit. That's good. Very good at voices. We all know. You are. We have a lot going on here, Rox. There's a lot of stories, a lot of juicy stories here this week, right?
Starting point is 00:02:19 Yeah, buddy. And I'm so excited for TV picks today. Holy moly. Good ones. I'm going, I've seen a few of them. So we'll just answer that to start. Is he not on the show with us anymore? Not on Tuesdays. It's hard for me at Tuesdays. He's been on Wednesdays. And, and even he's coming into New York in a few weeks. he's going to help with um he's going to help build out the the studio we're getting a new table and matt's working on stuff Matt sarah so he's coming in to help that but uh yeah i need these are me and you what's it just me and you for now yeah is that okay yeah i just i do miss brett
Starting point is 00:02:57 but not i don't not like doing the show with me and you i just i haven't seen brett in six months i know i don't even think that's an exaggeration i don't know it's been six months but it's not too far off. I don't think that's too far off, Rox. I know. I can't believe you told me that he was cast in Denzel movie. You believed it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:20 I know. Listen, April Fool's Day and sticking to it. Luke, you're going to have to confirm this for me, but I think, Roxy, I think you're working against, like, 68 is what we're looking at. All right. I did the show really early yesterday. I did it, your time.
Starting point is 00:03:38 I did it six in the morning and Roka did it. Yeah, because. This is why Roka fucking, he is the, he's the people's champion. I had a day yesterday. It's like, because I had to do that because Sam was coming in at two o'clock to do, we watched Loki episodes one and two. So she had to come in her schedule. She's going to be out for the whole week.
Starting point is 00:04:02 So she had to, so she had to come in. That was the only day she came in. So, okay, great. Let me, I'll see if Roka can do. six he did we did the show it was a good show um and then i went to the gym i came back and i did the show and i'm like okay now i can go out and i can go see the amateur as soon as i'm done but in the middle of the reaction so i need i need an assistant roxy i don't even know what that is what's the amateur it's with rami malick and so um i get a text in the middle of watching a show with sam and it's from
Starting point is 00:04:36 Matt Sarah. And he's like, I'll be there in like 15 minutes. You know, I'm on, I'm on away. And we had boss rooting on the show. And he's like, and boss is going to be, he's ready to go. And I'm like, in my head, I'm going, we said Tuesday. And then I'm like, thinking as I'm watching the show, like, wait a minute. I told him I couldn't do Tuesday and that I had to do Monday. Shit. So then what's that? What'd you do? I had enough time to finish the reaction with Sam. And then I was like, okay. I couldn't cancel on Matt and Boss Routen. So I'm like, it was a great conversation.
Starting point is 00:05:11 The episode's actually up now on Matt's channel. Boss Rooden's a damn legend. Just listen to those guys was like just a privilege alone. Listen to the two of them talk. But I'm looking at the clock and I'm like, okay, it's 530 now. I need to be on the train at 525. So I'm missing that one. There could be another train that I can get a 545 and get there just in time,
Starting point is 00:05:30 missed that one. And then I get to the train station and I look and the train was late. The other one that could have got me there where It would have been like a minute late. And I would have been 20 minutes like to the screening. I'm like, there's no reason to do that. So I turned back around, went back to the office, did a reaction of the new Deer Devil episode for tonight, did a video for DTE.
Starting point is 00:05:50 And then just caught up on some stuff before I started today. What's the deal with your calendar? This doesn't sound like an assistant thing. It sounds like you're not managing your calendar. My calendar is doing a really stupid thing right now. Okay. I don't know why it's doing this. Maybe someone in the comments can tell me.
Starting point is 00:06:07 But when I put in, if I put in Roxanne Christian meeting 2 PM April 8th, it will go there on it'll list there, but it'll also list it on Monday, April 8th. What? I don't know why. It'll list it two days in a fucking row. And I hate it so much. Are you doing a start time and an end time? Uh-uh. I just put, I just drag it.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Yeah, yeah, I just drag it into when it's supposed to happen in the show and so odd. what calendar are you using just Apple Cal or Google Cal? Apple. Yeah, you use that too. Yeah. So I don't know what's doing that. So that was a matter. That was that was anyway.
Starting point is 00:06:46 So then today I have a screening. So after I do this today, I'll be. I rely on my calendar like it's my best friend. Because as you know, I have 15 bosses and so many jobs. So if I don't have everything, if it's not in my calendar,
Starting point is 00:07:00 I am not arriving to that thing. It's like if the second I text to confirm something, that is going in my calendar. Otherwise, I would do what you did. Like, I would miss everything. Yeah. How are you supposed to remember it? You can't.
Starting point is 00:07:14 No, not on that one. So I have to figure out how to fix a stupid thing. Someone said, unplug it and plug it back in. hilarious. Try it, blow on it. Yeah, sure. That's what she said. All right, let's get into this story because this is a story that I like because I've said it.
Starting point is 00:07:30 I said it. Okay. I heard you say that you've said it, Christian. You've never said that to me. When are you talking about? Almost every show. Ask the audience about what I think. You thought Thunderbolt was going to do the best of any.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Not do the best. No, no, no, it might do the worst out of the three. I don't know if it'll do worse than Captain America, but out of the three big releases
Starting point is 00:07:49 that Marvel has coming out this year, I said it is going to be the best quality-wise. Not monetarily, I think Fantastic Four will be the, will be the- You think that this movie is going to be a better movie than Fantastic Four? Yes. Okay. Well, I don't think I've heard you say it.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Maybe I have. I've been saying it on the show. And I think that it is indeed the case because I just feel for some reason it's going to be a little different. I think they're going to focus more on the characters and not just go on the big spectacle side of things. So I do think it's going to be a pretty big movie as far as critical from fans and audiences. And it looks like I might be on the right track with that thought process because the test screening, reports suggest it's going to rank among Marvel's best movies. Thunderbolts is very nearly here in a report from a recent test screening.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Heaps praise on the movie and the century while suggesting this could ultimately rank among Marvel Studios' best releases. Thunderbolts is Marvel Studios' next movie and less than a month away from hitting theaters after Captain America Brave New World underperformed. The hope is that it might put the MCU back on the right track ahead of the Fantastic Four First Steps in July. In the months leading up to Captain America Brave New World's release, we started hearing
Starting point is 00:09:04 worrying test screening reports and full plot breakdowns that beyond some late post-production changes proved accurate. Now, Reddeter who gave an accurate assessment of that movie's quality before it was released in February is back with their take on Thunderbolts. These comments are to be believed
Starting point is 00:09:20 it may ultimately rank among Marvel Studios' best blockbusters. The Redditor said this. I attended a test screening of this near Burbank around six weeks ago. I won't say too much, but I think you're feeling But I think if you're feeling jaded by the cap shit genre, because they're all feeling the same, I would check this one out. The journey it takes the characters on is actually interesting.
Starting point is 00:09:43 The team dynamic is great, not unlike Guardians of the Galaxy, and the way Century Void is executed into the story is really fascinating. I expect this one to leg out well into the following weeks after it drops. I see the tomato meter being above 90% for critics and audiences. Of course, I could be wrong, but the audience I was with seemed to. love it and couldn't stop talking about it highly after the screening. There have been signs for a while that Thunderbolts might be a different kind of MCU movie, so this bodes well. It's certainly been marketed differently, though so was Capp's last adventure and that struggled to live up to the stylish trailers.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Regardless, it's become clear in recent months. This isn't just Marvel Suicide Squad and with the Century confirmed for Avengers Doomsday, he's not going to be another one-off big bad. Thunderbolts being a critical hit won't guarantee box office success. However, it should help this follow-up to the Falcon and Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Ant Man in the Wasp, avoid the fate which befell the Marvel's and Captain America, Brave New World. A new poster for Thunderbolts also found this way online. Here is a closer look of that poster. There you go. You see the poster in Thunderbolts. Marvel Studios are saying, we know all that stuff. Okay. So, Roxy, you know, you hear this
Starting point is 00:10:50 report here that this movie is amazing from this one particular person. Now, as we've said many times over, we don't have the same opinions as everybody. That's why we have different opinions. You could feel the exact opposite as this Redditor, but this Redditor also said that the people he was with seemed to really love it. What are your hopes on this movie? When do you think of this report? Hearing that they think it's going to be above 90 for both critics and audiences.
Starting point is 00:11:21 I'm curious how many comic book movies of all time are above 90 for critics and audiences. Can you think of any top of your head? I would assume Civil War, maybe Civil War. Honestly, I'm curious because that is, that's, I try to take these things with a grain of salt because... You finish your point, and I'll look it up. We've heard so many times from test screenings.
Starting point is 00:11:47 This movie is great. And then the movie was not great. And then we've heard bad things. And then I've ended up liking movies. So you take it with a grain of salt. but obviously, of course, just gets me a little bit excited. Hearing that it would be
Starting point is 00:12:01 well received by both fans and critics is really cool. I love to be here. Winter Soldier is won 90 for the tomato meter, 92 for the fans. So this is saying that this is as good as Winter Soldier. That's what it said. You know,
Starting point is 00:12:16 that's what this person is claiming. I would be surprised if I love this movie as much as Winter Soldier, but that would be cool. I love this trailer, the Super Bowl trailer. I loved. Yeah, I guess this gets me,
Starting point is 00:12:31 it's optimistic, but hesitantly, you know? Yeah. Endgame is also 94% for critics, 90 on the audience. So there's, but it's like, yeah, I wasn't thinking it's never been done. I know what you're saying. Your point is valid. The movies that I'm mentioning are some of the greats of all time. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Right. So that's what this person's saying. Like, they're going to go into the 90 and 90 on both. and that you could Marvel needs that. Marvel needs that. That would be crazy. If people walk out of this and they say this is one of the best
Starting point is 00:13:03 Marvel movies of all time, that would be wild. They need that because even Deadpool and Wolverine, which made a lot of money and people had a lot of fun with, you're not going to hear that movie discussed as a top 10, top 20 MCU movie of all time. Maybe by some people. Maybe by some, but not a majority.
Starting point is 00:13:21 If you have to mature- Deadpillar's Wolverine is top 20 MCU movie. of all time discussed by anybody but well coy um i don't know i don't think it's a movie i think it's a movie that plays better in the theater and i think as it's it's not as you don't think top 20 it's like 45 movies rocks maybe yeah this is lower than half to you this i'd have to look i'd have to look i'd have to look at the list again too because um i don't know if i would rank it over some of these other ones that i saw recently it's a fun movie there's a lot of fun stuff going on with it too but for you. Like, there's certain movies
Starting point is 00:13:55 that I would watch more so for the story than I would watch for the gags in Deadpool Wolverine, but... I guess. It's just you're saying that this is a bottom half of the MCU movie. Maybe 15. Maybe it doesn't correct 15. Okay. Yeah. I don't think it breaks top 10 for me, but I do think
Starting point is 00:14:11 it's definitely in talk 20. Okay, so let's say, let's cut here. So let's say 15. And either way... We're on the same page now, Christian. We're cooking with gas. Yeah. So let's say that we have a potential that the Thunderbolts is going to crack into that top 15. That's exciting for Marvel.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Like, Marvel needs that right now because they haven't had that. It was the last, I mean, Guardians is a three is a really good movie. I actually like it better than Guardians One and Guardians 2, but I think I'm in the minority on that. But it's still like a great movie. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Is it No Way Home? Right? Yeah, I love that movie. Yeah. So I'm very curious. I'm very curious to see. So does this actually move the needle for you? Hearing a person say what a random Reddit user say this,
Starting point is 00:15:05 does this actually change your mind about anything? It does only because it's the same person that was accurate about Captain America, right? And said, I saw it, didn't think it would hit. Looks like it had problems with sloppy. That's what it was. So you see a movie and you give an accurate description of what I thought. I'm like, okay, well, if I met you once and I said, what did you think of that movie? And you told me what you thought of it.
Starting point is 00:15:33 And then I went and saw that movie. And I had an act, and I felt the same exact way you did. And the next time I asked you about a movie, I was like, well, you told me last time. It was, it was not that good or it was good. And I like it. So I think that's fair. Yeah. If we walk out of this and a week later, this has not, above.
Starting point is 00:15:51 of 90, both places. This is going to be such a fun thing to talk about. I can't wait. I love talking about movies that we love and movies that I don't constantly feel like I'm looking for the good in and other people are shredding and it's just like so
Starting point is 00:16:07 divisive. If this movie is not divisive, if just generally everyone walks out and loves this, oh my God, it makes life so much more fun. It really does. And it gives Marvel what they need leading into Fantastic Four and Doomsday because if this movie is great,
Starting point is 00:16:29 even if it doesn't make a ton of money, we can get into that in a second, it then sets the stage of, okay, they found their footing again. Can they follow up with Fantastic Four? And then if they follow up with Fantastic Four, because you kind of have to, because of where you're setting them into the future of the MCU, then that leads into Doomsday, which is going to have hype around it no matter what. You've got to deliver on the movie when it releases, but it's going to have hype. If you can deliver with Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, Doomsday, and Secret Wars, you're in a great position to then put.
Starting point is 00:17:01 I mean, an insane position. You're in a great position. Yeah, insane great, but you're back if you can do that. And people will tell you at a rough spot. You said something, though, that I want to question a little bit. Sure. You think that this movie, do you think that this movie could have above 90 on Rotten Tomato for critics and audience and not perform financially?
Starting point is 00:17:23 Yes, because there's tons of movies that are like that. Some Marvel movies like that? Not Marvel movies per se, but the reason it's not tracking at a number, I don't think it'll fail. I don't think it'll fail. I think that, but it doesn't have the same awareness of other Marvel properties. And unfortunately, they're not in a position that they were, and when Guardians came out in 2014.
Starting point is 00:17:52 They were firing it all cylinders. Everybody was like, okay, I'm invested in the storyline. I want to see it. There was no fatigue from that stuff. There was no really bad things coming out from Marvel. But now they're following, people are just like, oh, another Marvel movie. Yeah, but there are people who are invested in it.
Starting point is 00:18:09 It's word of mouth that's gonna help this movie. But the only thing that now that I am like, I don't know how much I trust tracking, Minecraft was tracking at $55 million. Yeah. It made $150 million. Opening weekend, domestically, made over $300 million. So, you know.
Starting point is 00:18:32 I'm going to go out and say, if this movie gets above 90 on both the tomato meter and the audience score, then there is no way that this movie doesn't financially do gangbusters. What's gangbusters? What do you think opening weekend? What's the budget? I can look. Let me say. I don't know if they listen.
Starting point is 00:18:56 And the reason, and I completely agree with you, Christian, there's tons of movies that have above 90% that didn't financially perform indie movies. You know, there's a lot of art house movies that are some of the most beautiful movies you ever seen that anybody who did see them loves it, but they don't financially perform at all. Yeah, about $200 million.
Starting point is 00:19:13 $200 million is the budget. Rumored to be around that. I would say if this does $700, did gangbusters. Sure. That's a great number. So what about opening weekend though? What do you think it does opening weekend?
Starting point is 00:19:25 Well, I don't know because that's what it takes to get the 90% on audience score. So it's like that's a harder one. I think it will have like an uptick after that if it's that good, you know? I don't disagree. I don't disagree. The only problem is that it's in May and we're going to start getting into, you know, the heavy hitters are going to start to come to play. Yeah. So you've got you're going to have first of again, the accountant two in its second week.
Starting point is 00:19:53 And from what I hear, that movie's awesome. So. Yeah, I'm so excited, man. Yeah. So Thunderbolts comes out May 2nd. The following weekend is nothing. They don't really have a clown on a cornfield flight or flight Juliet and Romeo. Okay. That's, that's where you need to make your, your week two money. You got to make that money week two because on May 16th and even look, they're actually in a good position here, Roxie. even May 16th, you got Final Destination Bloodline that's coming out. The hardcore fans will come out, but if the big blockbuster fans still want to go see a movie, well, then Thunderbolts is your play still. It's not until May 23rd.
Starting point is 00:20:35 If they don't make their money by May 23rd, they're going to be in trouble because they're going to start getting hit pretty hard by, well, by their own crew with Lilo and Stitch. So if this does well, If people like this the first weekend, it has two more weekends to do gangbusters. I'm not saying I think this movie is going to make that much money. I'm saying if it is as good as this person says. Then it has an opportunity to. I don't disagree with that. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:21:01 It would be so great for Marvel. The drop off needs to be not massive. Yeah. I think the movie will do around 75 million opening weekend. And I think that it needs to do it. And if it does 100, do you think that that means that this is going to absolutely. annihilate? Anil, it'll be a nice surprise hit for them.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Okay. And they'll be able to go like this. If they can make 100 on their opening weekend on Thunderbolts, that's a good number for them. I think 75 is a good number for them. Yeah, it is. But what they need on week, if they do 75, they need to do around 40 on week two. If for some reason, we have the press screenings,
Starting point is 00:21:41 yeah, this movie does not perform. This movie is sitting at Rotten Tomatoes in the 60s or maybe even the 50s. how badly do you think that this could do? What do you think is the least money that this movie might make? Opening weekend? Yeah. 50 to 55. I think it's on track.
Starting point is 00:22:00 I think that's what's on track to do and I think it'll hit that. Okay. I think it's on track to hit that number and I don't think it'll go lower than that. I think it'll go higher. I think it'll ultimately do more than that. But I don't think it'll go lower than that because there have been movies I've been tracking at huge numbers and then I've failed minutes. Look at Joker too.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Yeah. Ratu was tracking like an astronomical number and then they way underperformed because people like P-U. So this is, this could be the exact opposite. This could be the exact opposite because the critics are raving about it. And maybe like, oh, I wasn't even expecting to see it. Maybe I'll go check it out now if there are those early screenings. And one of the things that I think has been beneficial as much as you and I don't like it,
Starting point is 00:22:43 I think having influencers at these things sometimes does bring awareness to these movies. 100% especially to Gen Z. It's not that influence, I don't have issue with influencers being at the movies. It's influencers not preparing to ask questions to the past that I'm like squeezing my eyeballs out about. Or the stupid jokes that they do and stuff. The trickery. Like I'm not one of those people who's gatekeeping about these things. There was time when I was having a hard time.
Starting point is 00:23:11 I still have a hard time getting into these screening sometimes. And I've been doing this for a long time. I think that it's cool to let in the younger gen, and it's cool that the way that they communicate is via TikTok and Snapchat. I sound so old right now, but you know what I mean? I just don't like anyone who doesn't prepare for their job. I don't like anybody who doesn't do that. And so when you're in there and you're saying, so what's it like to be an actor in this who didn't prepare for your job? And I'm so tired of watching interviews where we could be watching somebody like you interview,
Starting point is 00:23:44 I'm A-List Star, and instead I'm watching Gina Shmina, who is like planting the fart machine underneath, like, ha-ha-ha. And I'm like, I actually hate everyone. You're starting to speak my language, but I will tell you that I do think that I understand why they do it for the marketing side of it. And if you get those people to get out there, make more people aware of it, and then there's other more legit people who you trust in their opinions of the movie itself, as opposed to just the market. because influencers are there to market it. You're not really there to listen to their opinion on it. They're there to market it. And if they get the word out there and the awareness of it,
Starting point is 00:24:23 and then you look at the critics that you trust, and those critics say, this is a really great movie. This really is a great movie. That could benefit the movie, obviously, and boost up that potential 55 to that 75. And I am not going to ever say, well, tracking is what it says 55.
Starting point is 00:24:42 That's what it's doing. I mean, Minecraft said, F you. I can't. You see that movie? I did. How was it? It just, it was over my head. In the same way, like, that Mario Brothers was not over my head. I caught all the references in Mario. I caught all that stuff. If you're a Minecraft fan, I think you're going to enjoy it because there's so many different references, apparently, and things, I mean, the crowds were going nuts for these things.
Starting point is 00:25:02 So Minecraft fans are loving it? That's what it seems like. And I mean, I mean, $300 million worldwide certainly seems like, because you can't, you can't do $300 million worldwide. and the fan base, most of the fan base that's seeing it is, is having fun with it. So that movie, you'll see, you're not going to see a big drop off. You're going to see an opposite. You're not going to see a big drop off with that movie in week two because it's the only game in town to bring kids to. It's the only game in town right now to bring kids to.
Starting point is 00:25:28 And that is what another reason why it's doing so well is because kids have something to go to the movies to see. Massive. How happy are you that your kid doesn't have a broken wrist? I know. And she made the team. Did I tell you that? No. Made the team.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Yeah. Isn't that great? We, that is, as a parent, you must have like flipped. How did she tell you? What, they, they tricked me again. And they said that she got cut. And then, and I was like, I was like, okay, we'll sign you up for another league. You don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:26:05 You just try hard next time. She's like, so you sons of bitches. I'm so excited for her. Is she happy? Super happy. We should practice every day now and she's throwing. How often our games are you going to go watch? Yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:26:18 We're, but I don't know yet the full schedule of the games, but we took the dog, we take the dog on a walk and she comes with me now and she just throws the ball up, catching it all of them. So it's great. Congratulations, Vibi. That's so great. You got to stop, man. He got to stop.
Starting point is 00:26:35 What? In the comments, it's like, it's like, look, and I'm going to double down on this. and then we're going to go to the next thing. The reason that Minecraft did Sewellis is, A, the main reason is because they marketed to the fans who love this from the fans who were eight years old when it came out to her now 25, 30, whatever they are, and those fans love it. The adults who have seen it love it.
Starting point is 00:27:01 But they marketed this movie to a young audience, because if you can get a young audience. What happened on the chat? Why are you upset? Same comment over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Anyway, speaking of comments, everybody who wants to know, look, look, I didn't cut my hair.
Starting point is 00:27:17 It's here. Oh, there you go. There we go. So, yes, it was marketed for children, and children went out and saw this movie, and families went out and saw this movie, and it crushed because of that. So what do you guys think? Did you like the movie? Did you not like the movie?
Starting point is 00:27:32 Minecraft? What do you think? But as far as Thunderbolts go, is Thunderbolts going to be the major critical hit that has been rumored. What do you think? Starting point is 00:32:52 I might as well send it to you. So everybody, listen to this. Captain America, Brave New World, not too long ago. It seems like it came out a couple of weeks ago. And it's already coming out on digital. There's a digital date. And there's other titles that are also up for digital dates. Here is said report. Captain America for and more set digital dates. Disney pictures are reportedly
Starting point is 00:33:21 set to release their Action Adventure sequel, Captain America, Brave New World on video on demand and digital platforms. next Tuesday, April 15th. That's a release date of approximately 60 days after the film debuted in cinemas. The kind of delay, some U.S. exhibitors want to be mandatory, if not longer. However, the film earned around 90% of its current, just shy of 200 million domestic hall
Starting point is 00:33:47 in its first 30 days in release. Disney may have potentially left money on the table by not going with POV the option earlier. That's not the only or digital date today. Blumhouse title, the woman in the yard. Wow. Woman in the yard is coming out next Tuesday. Wow. It's coming out 18 days after the film open cinemas. I've said, oh my God. Also coming up next Tuesday from Ketchap Entertainment is the day the earth blew up a Looney Tunes movie. Meanwhile, this week's
Starting point is 00:34:15 releases have become available with Jack Quay led's Novocaine, Jonathan Majors led magazine dreams, and Millett Jovovich led in the Lostlands and the Bong Joon host sci-fi comedy Mickey 17, now available to buy or rent. This is so interesting again because it says it here. The release comes as a movie released Windows where a big topic for discussion at last week's CinemaCon convention. That is interesting indeed because that's what I was thinking when I'm reading all this. I'm like, I just remember back in the day, it was like a year before you'd ever see these
Starting point is 00:34:47 things up here on HBO or whatever it was. I mean, woman in your art was literally out two or three weeks ago. That's crazy. And just like, I understand it, though. It's like, look, we're not making money in the theater. Get it out of the theater. The theater's wanted out of the theater because no one's going to see it. They have other things they could show there.
Starting point is 00:35:04 And it's like, let's just try to make money by doing it on digital now. The Captain America thing, to me, to be honest, it proves to me that the budget was about $400 million. Because they're like, oh, well, they left money on the table. They probably knew there's no world where they're going to even come close to the real money that they spent on that movie. They did not spend $200 million in that movie. Anyone that thinks that is completely naive. They spent a lot of money on that movie, and they realized no. It's not, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's simple math.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Fasty, man. It's a different, it's a different, it's a different, it's naive. Naive. I, I, I, I'm, you guys at home today are naive. You're naive. If you thought that movie was in the same way that I got people texting me yesterday, uh, or, or tweeting me about the Tony Gilroy talking about, uh, Dave Floney and, and, and, and I don't know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:35:57 So I have famously said, and I stand by it, that Flonny is not a big fan of Andor. He doesn't believe it as far as how it fits into the Star Wars world and all these different things. People are tagging me that Tony Gilroy had a comment and said that that people are trying to put a wedge in between himself, Favreau, Faloni, that they've been supportive of the show in general. I said, yeah, I've never, I've never said otherwise.
Starting point is 00:36:25 I think that of course they're going to say, what do you think Flonnie's going to do? He's going to openly say, hey, we're not helping you out. Doors closed, Gilroy. Of course not. It's going to, what do you need? This too. It doesn't mean that you can, you can, you can be a fan of something. You can, excuse me, help people who are working for you.
Starting point is 00:36:41 And then around the corner, like, I don't think this fits in what we're doing. I don't think this is. Just so I missed your commentary on this. Why do you think Folony doesn't like Handor? Inside or knowledge? I just think so. Let's just say that. Let's keep it. Let's keep it vague. Let's just keep it vague and say that I think that he does.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Do you think that it is valid for fans to question you when you're vague? Yes. Okay. Of course. But, but I've been vague in the past also and I've turned out to be. 100%. Sometimes I'll say things on this show or other, and I'm vague because I cannot say how I know or what I know.
Starting point is 00:37:18 And people will just jump on me. Like, that's wrong. And you know, and you know that you know perfect. Yeah. And so it's like, yeah. So I'm getting tweets, see, no, I don't see anything. I see that Tony is not being treated like an asshole, which he shouldn't be. Well, you don't bite your nose to spite your face.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Oh, of course not. Yeah. Of course not. It's like we, they get a long fine. Of course they get along fine. Who's whoever said that they didn't. Yeah. It just doesn't, you can get along with someone and go, hey, I get along with that person.
Starting point is 00:37:47 You like their band? No. Yeah. But I like them. They're a nice person. I like them. But do you like their music? I don't like their music.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Yeah. It's a difference. 100% my favorites see i see nothing in the same way that like we're j j j abrams jj abrams loves ryan johnson's movie he does not he does not um anyway so but getting back to this bluerre stuff is where we were ultimately talking about um you have this this really does go into the amount of time that you get it i understand the pushback of wanting to do it at more you know a little bit longer but I mean how are you just kind of a glutton for punishment if you leave these movies out in the theaters too long like how do you feel about all this do you think that it's too soon for some of these movies to come out I think it's totally case by case yeah I if you remember I really liked Captain America so I'm very excited for this to come out I'm gonna watch this again in my living room I'm stoked on that wait a minute wait a minute what did you say before cut off your what did you say before cut off your what you were giving that reference I said bite your nose to spite your face?
Starting point is 00:38:56 No, that's not. That's, that's, that's, that's, cut off your nose to spite your face? That's it, that's it. Sorry, go ahead. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. No, not gotcha.
Starting point is 00:39:06 No, no, no. I know. Sorry. I don't, I don't want to cut you off. I want you to. I know what I mean. I know. The only person I'd ever want to cut you off is one person, but not, it's, you know who it is.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Cock? It's me. It's you. You cut yourself off. Me? Oh, go ahead. Listen, I watch back some of our shows sometimes, like when I'm going back to find things that I said about something or you said for clipouts or whatever. And I cut you off all the motherfuckin' time.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Yes, you do. So you're welcome to cut me, cut off my nose to bite my face. No, perfect. Bite your feet in order to do. Yeah. No, I think I said, bite your nose to spite your face. And I meant cut off your nose to spite your face. And you guys knew and you shamed me for it.
Starting point is 00:39:54 now today you're going to be gassy why is that because karma i'm eating well though no no i'm not you you guys everyone at home the only way to not be gassy today is to send in support in the supertack there you go and right now you're 16 at the moment so i wanted to beat roka you got to get to I think 67 is what we found out now. What were we talking about? Oh, Chris, did I tell you that my neighbor moved? The sex neighbor?
Starting point is 00:40:32 Yeah. She moved? Where'd she go? I don't know, actually. I do know. I don't remember exactly what she said, but I saw her. So it was so loud for like weeks.
Starting point is 00:40:45 And I was like, what the hell's going on in there? And I guess they were moving. And so I bumped into her in the hall. in the garage. She was like, oh, I'm so sad to leave being your neighbor. You've been the best neighbor. Because I tell you also, she like,
Starting point is 00:40:59 I've been locking herself out and then like coming into my place, like asking if she could come in at like two in the morning to get up to the roof. I'm just picturing what you should have said to her in that moment. I just think you're the greatest neighbor. Thank you. I play noises of you fucking on my show. Yeah, but nobody knows who it is. So they would never know.
Starting point is 00:41:22 And also. I had been the greatest neighbor. She should have been thrown out of our apartment. It was a nightmare living with her. She had multiple animals living in there. It was a revolving door. I couldn't sleep for years. And I never outed her.
Starting point is 00:41:38 And the parking situation was not tenable. Because I told you, I really like her. She's a sweet girl. Yes. Anyway, though. So she told me she was sad. She was leaving. And then she invited me to, it was like somewhere that's like two hours away.
Starting point is 00:41:59 She's like, you should come. And I was like, just to be honest, I probably won't, but thank you so much. And then I bumped into Jose, who is the guy that does like all of them. No way. Because it rhymes. Good one. Come on. That's such a bad joke.
Starting point is 00:42:21 And I love every bit of it. Go ahead. It was bad. It was bad. But I love that remit of it. Oh, I love me. He does all of the work on all of our units. And he looked like he was about to cry walking out of her unit.
Starting point is 00:42:38 And I was like, everything okay, Jose? And he was like, this is going to take me months. Why? And I was like, why? What's going on in there? She destroyed everything. Just like. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:42:57 He looked like he had seen a girl. I was like, what do you mean? She destroyed everything. He said, I mean everything. And I was like, wow, that is something. It was something. So I guess I'm going to be neighborless for as long as it takes them to fix up the whole place. That's a good thing for you.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Someone said, I'm sorry, Roxy, someone just told me that the fast growing trees link wasn't working. So I'm updating that. I don't know why it's not working, but I'm not. No way. Jose. Let me do this and let's see. Fast growing trees.com. Use that code.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Big thing. I just updated it. So hopefully that works. Let's see. Okay. So anyway, so she moved. That's good.
Starting point is 00:43:45 That's good for you. She left a mess. Whatever it was. Yeah. Poor Jose. For Jose. Working on my end. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:54 So anyway, let's move on. Because this is, I don't know. Get an assistant? I don't know. But what I'm going to tell you that we are going to do is, I'm putting all these up on clips. This is going to be a nightmare for, to make this past story a clip, but nonetheless, it'll be a clip. To the Clips channel, it is just Christian Harloff clips,
Starting point is 00:44:15 and we're clipping out the entire show. We're going to be doing that every day. So make sure you head on over there. We didn't want to clog up the main channel. So we made the Clips channel. So if you can't catch up on the whole show, you can go over there and you watch it. So subscribe to the Christian Arloff Clips channel. And that's how you can watch the show in spurts. And for people asking, time codes, time codes.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Look, I have somebody who does time codes. It's a fan. Guess who doesn't have time to do time codes? Me. Okay. Next thing I want to get to, Roxy, I want to talk to you guys about this Gena Ortega story. Because when the Melissa Barrera
Starting point is 00:44:54 stuff was going on the right around the same time. Jenna Ortega left the Scream 7. Everyone's like, oh, she left because of Melissa. And then there's reports like, no, she didn't. She left because of her scheduling. And they're like, no, she left because of Melissa. Nobody knew. Nobody knew why. Well, she clears it up and tells you exactly why.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Ortega commented on the Scream 7 exit and also talk on the Abrams project. Hot off of her success with Beetlejuice, Beatlejuice late last year. Jenna Ortega returned to Cinemas with A-24's death of a unicorn and will shortly be seen in the weekend's thriller, hurry up tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:45:29 The actress is one of the most in demand out there right now with multiple projects on the way, more in the works, along with a second season of Wednesday, having already been shot and dropping on streaming giant Netflix sometime later this year. One film you won't be seeing her, though, is Scream 7. After appearing in the fifth and sixth installments, the actress opted out of returning at a time when the project seemed to be falling apart over at Spyglass. There was a new interview with the cut. General Ortega confirms her exit and she said it had nothing to do with pay or scheduling around her Wednesday commitments as trade reports originally suggested. Rather, Ortega was well
Starting point is 00:46:08 aware that the project was collapsing in real time from the exit of directors Tyler Gillette and Matt Vitilini Alpin to the firing of her on-screen sister Melissa Barrera over a tweet. The Melissa stuff was happening and it was all kind of falling. apart. If Scream 7 wasn't going to be with that team of directors and those people I fell in love with, then it didn't seem like the right move for me in my career at that time. In the same interview, Ortega confirmed, she does have a role alongside Glenn Powell, Emma Mackey, and Samuel L. Jackson in the JJ Abrams, a subtitled upcoming film at Warren Brothers picture. She calls it an original JJ script with some fantasy elements. Shooting on that will begin shortly in London. Finally,
Starting point is 00:46:50 she also reflected on some past interview comments where she got in hot water out or namely that she sometimes changed the scripts Wednesday because they didn't seem to make sense of the character. People took umbrage with that saying it was disrespectful of the writer. She says she's now learned from the experience. I used my words really poorly. All I had to do was say improvised. You live and you learn. I don't want to.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I'm just going to say this. This is what I want to say because I want to keep rehashing it. This is how you do interviews. This is how you do interviews. This is how you say, look, yeah, I said that thing. And oops, I said the wrong thing. What I should have said was this. And I don't want to have respect for it.
Starting point is 00:47:36 And she's right. She says improvised. Nobody's bats an eye at it. It's a good interview. The other thing that she did very well was, and this is what a lot of these clickbait headlines have already said. Jenna Artagle says she left because of the Melissa Barberra. Barrera situation. It's not what she said. What she said was it was the Melissa situation. It was the fact that the directors, it was the fact that the team that she was used
Starting point is 00:47:59 to that she was working with and this team she fell in love with would no longer be there. That included Melissa Barrera, that included the directors, that included everyone else too. And she saw it, she saw falling apart and she didn't want to be part of it. I thought the answer was classy. I thought the answer was done well. And I thought it was, and I honestly think it was a smart move for it shouldn't need to be in those movies. So what do you make of these comments. Yeah, somebody picked up some media training. Yeah, 100%. You know, we, Jenna Ortega told us in an interview once that she shot Wednesday while she had COVID. Do you remember that? And everybody was like, why did you just admit nobody even asked you?
Starting point is 00:48:37 Why did you say? Why did you tell everybody that? Just like what you just read about her, what people used to say, she slammed the writers. She said some things that she's, young and she started was newer and she said some things that didn't phrase things poorly here um i think that a lot of people have been wondering what her political views are considering she left after the melissa situation and what she said to you guys was i love the team i worked with that wasn't the team anymore and so i didn't want to be part of it anymore which is the much um more simple and elegant answer as opposed to whatever thing she could have said that might have gotten her in trouble. So I think she's great answer. Great answer. It's like because they're they're fishing for
Starting point is 00:49:30 a political answer there. They're fishing for her to say something like that again. So they can blow up. She didn't say that. She said, my team's not there anymore. I didn't want to be part of it. Yeah. How do you, how do you judge that? And then in terms of her career, I agree with you. I think that no part of her needs to be in the next scream movie. So, yeah, she's a massive star. And she does, she's not hurting for projects. She doesn't need to be in it.
Starting point is 00:49:55 She doesn't need to be in it. And honestly, it probably looks like it's going in a better direction right now anyway. They're bringing back Neff Campbell and they're going in a different direction with it. It is so funny, though, where it just, the internet is so predictable, right? Like when all that stuff was going down and then they brought in Neff Campbell, everyone's like, I'm never going to see a screen movie ever again now because of this.
Starting point is 00:50:12 By the time the movie comes out, no one's going to give a shit. It will still bring it up in press and they'll still be brought up in articles and things like that too. It will not hurt this movie at all. If the trailer is good and Nev Campbell's back, Matthew Lillard's coming back now. I agree. It's going to be crushed. I completely agree. Mal in the chat said she did leave before the directors left.
Starting point is 00:50:31 That is not true necessarily. It's not necessarily. She left maybe left before we knew that the director's right. But she's in the know. and in the loop. You nailed it. That's what happens. Is that like, hey, it's not been announced yet.
Starting point is 00:50:49 They're leaving too. They're going to, they're taken off. Or they could be in communication. Testing each other. We're leaving the project soon. It hasn't been announced. I screw it. When you, we're,
Starting point is 00:50:59 that I'm out to. And that's it. You don't think she knew that they were leaving? Of course she did. Before we did, we were the last tonight. Of course. That's, that's how it works. You found out about it afterwards.
Starting point is 00:51:11 but that's not how that's not how it works. Like it's perfect in Roxie's going to talk about it. Like the studio is a perfect example. They cover that type of stuff of how they're. Oh my God, man. I love it so much. But I mean, again, like I always say, I mean, that's a controversial subject in general.
Starting point is 00:51:27 But hey, I like what she said. What do you guys think about the comments that Jenna Ortega made? Do you think that they were good? Do you think that no, she was too, it was too safe? She should have dug her heels in a little deep and talked about it a little more. What say you? Put your thoughts. it's in there, let us know your opinion.
Starting point is 00:51:44 Okay, moving on, we are going to get to this one. This is something that this is the closest to political that we'll get on this, on this show because it's relevant to the movie business right now. And that is that China is considering a U.S. film, film ban over terrorists. China is supposedly, reportedly, Considering a ban on Hollywood movies following President Trump's indication yesterday that he will impose an additional 50% tariff on China if Beijing does not withdraw its retaliatory tariffs on the United States. If he sticks to his plan, total U.S. duties on Chinese goods this year could rise to 104% by Wednesday. China has swiftly labeled the move blackmail and reportedly is considering a slate of retaliatory measures according to both Bloomberg and the Daily Mail.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Those potential measures could reportedly include a redoubt. or outright ban on the import of American movies, according to sources for at least two influential Chinese social media figures. Though, not the juggernaut they once were, U.S. films still managed to gross $5.85 million in China last year, around 3.5 of China's $17.71 billion box office, and among the largest share of foreign films. Chinese authorities have absolute control over the film distribution in the territory, and such a ban could result in major revenue losses for summer blockbusters, Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman, or Mission Impossible, the final reckoning. Trump's tariffs and trade war have already shaken many industries with cinephiles in particular
Starting point is 00:53:18 concerned that events will only hasten the potential death of physical media and diss and the hardware to play them becomes more difficult and expensive to produce. All right. Roxy, this is, I mean, this is, yeah, I know. It's a major, major topic and not just with movies. I want to know how you're going to navigate this without being political, Christian. So you talk first. Well, I'm going to, I'm going to go more on the side of, of China's move, you know, and it's like, yes, they, you got to remember that even before the tariffs, there was a, there was a couple different times that China wasn't putting movies into their theaters. And we were wondering, well, that they're not having an opening in China. They were, they were already doing this for, for a couple of movies. They were remember, like, well, we don't know if that movie's going to make a billion dollars because it hasn't opened in China yet. And they don't even know if it's going to open in China yet. They don't even know if it's going to open in China yet. They're, they
Starting point is 00:54:09 been doing this already before the tariffs. So it's very part of the content of the film. Yeah, with content of the film, I think there was, that's definitely one of the examples, but there's other times that they did just whether the deal was made or whatever it was and they didn't do it. It's not always guaranteed that they're going to open there, but they always want to, obviously, because they do very well. I think that, because you could say what you were for, cutting off your nose to spite your face at this point, I think it's going to hurt them too. Yes, it doesn't, it doesn't make up for a lot of the movie and the money. that they're making there, but it's still.
Starting point is 00:54:40 You think it's going to hurt who? I think, well, it's definitely going to hurt the U.S. for sure. But I mean, it's, it'll, it'll still hurt China for doing. You think it will hurt? Yeah, it'll definitely hurt for sure. This is such a lose-lose. Yes. It's just such a lose-lose.
Starting point is 00:54:56 This is why globalization is important, right? We all rely on each other. And in this specific situation, there's a million things that are being affected by tariffs. but in terms of entertainment, what a bummer. What a massive bummer this will be if movies are not performing as well because they're not able to be seen in China. And if China, the people of China are cut off from American movies
Starting point is 00:55:23 because the government is using it as a playing card, which I'm not saying they should or shouldn't. Just lose, who loses here are the artists and the civilians. Right. Yeah. I mean, bummer. Yeah, that's what it looks like. I don't know that this will actually happen, but I'm saying if it does, big bummer. I don't think it will.
Starting point is 00:55:46 I think it's a big pissing contest right now. We just don't know. We don't know how the chips are going to fall. And we have absolutely no saying it. We just have to watch it play out. And wait. Yeah. Yeah, it'll be interesting to see once the big movies come out.
Starting point is 00:56:01 But the one that, the two that they mentioned, I think, were really accurate. Those are the ones that get hurt the most are Jurassic World, I think. and emission impossible because what I will say is I thought my prediction was that Jurassic World will hit a billion dollars because it's like every Jurassic World movie makes a billion dollars just seems like it's guaranteed at this point if it doesn't open in China it will not hit a billion dollars that is that to me is a guarantee yeah so I don't know we'll see we'll see we'll see it pans out yeah it's a huge market what do you guys think do you think that
Starting point is 00:56:36 this is going to happen? Do you think that it won't happen? Do you think that if it does, it's not that big of a deal? What say you? Put your thoughts in there, as we always say. We want to hear what you're thinking on these situations. Okay, before we get to your questions, I want to get to some TV. We have some good TV stuff coming out this week. So Roxy, let's get to it. These are Roxy Stryor's Picks. Roxy, we got some good ones here today. Let's start with this one. Handmaid's Tale returned last night, dropped at midnight with three episodes. Did I watch all three? Yes, I did.
Starting point is 00:57:12 Yes, I did. To me is one of the greatest shows of the decade. I absolutely love it. This final season, I wanted, when we came back, there's a specific character. I don't want to give you guys any spoilers if you haven't watched it yet because it's been out for less than a few hours. That I want to punch in the face the whole time. I just want to punch her in the face.
Starting point is 00:57:32 So they're doing a great job this season, and I really hope that this show sticks the landing. Typically, things that are based on books tend to stick the landing more than when there is an IP. So I have high hopes, and it's excellent show. All right. Next one here. White Lotus had its finale. And I loved the finale. I thought they did a great job.
Starting point is 00:57:54 I've even liked even more listening to Mike White talk about the finale and learn about the different plot points that were cut, scenes that were shot, people who slept together, fights that happened, it's been cool to see a creator be so open about, like, this is what we also filmed that wasn't in there, and to kind of wander with your mind,
Starting point is 00:58:14 different storylines that could have been. But I thought that this did a really great job. It was, there was a lot going on, and I was invested in every character. So really excellent finale for season three of White Lovis. Okay, excellent after that. Love on the Spectrum.
Starting point is 00:58:30 man oh man this is season three they dropped seven episodes and i watched it in one day this is the top 10 show of the year for me and was last year as well i there's no better reality show there is no better dating show there is no show that makes me cry harder or cheer the best people on television are in this show and it is the premises it's people who are on the spectrum the autism spectrum, there's certain, it's like a dating show where they go on and then the show sets them up with other people that are usually on the spectrum as well to try to find the loves of their life. This, go pull back up. Okay, hold on. I will in a second. Okay. The image to the left, I have no idea what I'm looking at. That's not love on the spectrum. It might be season one.
Starting point is 00:59:30 it's hard for me to see, but the image on the right is this season of love on the spectrum. Okay. And it's just amazing. Like, I think that they do a great job asking each other the best questions, the most important questions. And they cut all the bullshit. So, like, we'll be watching people on a date and they'll cut right to it. What are your interests?
Starting point is 00:59:51 What are your deal breakers? What are you looking for in a relationship? Am I it? No, I'm not. All right. Thank you so much. I had a blast. Like, and we see all different kinds of things.
Starting point is 01:00:00 things, speed dating, or like a lot of the cast members are allowed to pick what kind of dates they want to go on. So there's one guy who's like, I want to go feed the goats. And the girl's like, yeah, hell yeah, let's go feed the goats. I mean, it's just. And Wayne Gretzky and John Brady are there? Because they're the goats. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Sorry. At least you named my guys. So. Sorry, sorry, sorry. That's it. The show is perfect. It couldn't be better. If you watch one reality show,
Starting point is 01:00:29 a year, this should be it. All right. Now I'm going to include the two that I've actually watched. Man, the studio is so good. The cameos on the show are amazing. I love how much people in the industry love the show and I love how much people outside of the industry
Starting point is 01:00:47 are loving the show. If you listen to Seth Rogen talk about it, he's been getting text message from every major studio head, all of these producers, actors who are like, this is the most accurate. And that's crazy because it is, It's batch it and it's great.
Starting point is 01:01:04 And Seth does a great job. I love the entire cast. I think that probably Ike, Seth and Catherine, huh? Oh, and then Catherine O'Hare too. Everybody. Everyone's just killing it. So, so good. It's such a great show.
Starting point is 01:01:18 I'm really enjoying it. It's like, it really is curvy enthusiasm meets entourage. Yes. And it has that feel of, yeah, it's scary how so many of those types of stories actually happen. and it's amazing. Last one. Man, I texted you about this,
Starting point is 01:01:38 Grisha. When? No, just that 1923 is the worst advertisement. Oh, yeah. This show is amazing. Amazing. Their tagline for the season is like, ski, when skiing.
Starting point is 01:01:51 I'll read it. I'll read it while you, what you talk about us. It's so stupid. This show is so good. And if you know, you know, it's like, I don't talk to a single person who watches this show who's not obsessed with it.
Starting point is 01:02:01 Ranching versus skiing, it's a deadlier fight for the Dutton's than it sounds horrible. Horrible tagline. What the hell is it even tried? There's nothing to do with what the show is at all. It's so stupid. So stupid. I just feel like they haven't advertised this well. I mean, it's a stellar cast.
Starting point is 01:02:23 It's an epic love story. The fight sequences are amazing. It's just this show is so good. It's so good. And the finale was phenomenal. Did you watch? I did. Of course, yes. Sadie and I watched the whole thing because it's two hour finale. You watched the finale. Yeah, yeah. Two hour finale. We watched it. We were like, you know, because he's like, I don't even want to watch the whole thing tonight because it's too long. And I'm like, right. And I know her well enough for watching it. There's like this big thing that happens at a train station, right?
Starting point is 01:02:53 And so I pause it. I go, all right, time to go to go to bed. He's like, turn it back on immediately. And it's, Yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's tough. It's, it's kind of, uh, it's a tough finale, but it's a, it's a really good one. And, you know, just beating a dead horse here, no pun intended, um, that Brendan Schenar is just. Yeah, you and I have been saying from beginning, we're obsessed with him, but I have to say, what is her name?
Starting point is 01:03:18 Oh, she's, she was, she was great. She was great. Because we've always been, we've been riding for him from day one. We're obsessed with him. But I thought that this was her absolute best. And I've always thought she was great. She was really good in this episode. You're right.
Starting point is 01:03:34 You're right. Oh, my God. I'll tell you this, though. You know, the thing is she looks, if you look like, about this picture here, her on the right, she is perfectly cast for the show. She looks like she's from 1923. Yeah. The girl on the bottom left does not, all the way in the bottom left.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Yeah, I know who you're talking about. Does not look like she's from 1923 at all. And it's not her fault. The way that they made her up, she looks like you could film her in a magazine. Yeah, that's true. That's true. But she was good in the show. Great actress.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Yeah, they're all really good. I like the banner storyline, too. I don't want to give too much away, but. That's really good. Yeah, just the whole thing. The banner storyline was awesome, and I loved him from Game of Thrones, so I'm so glad that they had that angle for him. And you know, who's not getting the love that he should,
Starting point is 01:04:22 and I wish Mike was on the show for us to talk about. Is Tim Ford? No, Timothy Dalton. Ford, definitely, but Timothy Dalton. I've never seen Timothy Dalton in a role like it. Right, because you're, you've never seen. Oh, like this. Oh, I've seen him.
Starting point is 01:04:33 I mean, I love Timothy Dalton, but I've never seen him in a role like this. No, I like this. He's a great villain. Great one. Oh, my God. I hate him. Yeah, he's a great villain. I mean, I really, really hate him.
Starting point is 01:04:45 I feel like the show did a great job without giving spoilers of being, this finale was realistically sad. Like there are some, we lose some people that we love. But also, we got enough victories that I felt like. Like, all right, let's go. It was solid. It was solid. All right. Well, there you go.
Starting point is 01:05:04 There's Roxy's TV picks out of those shows. What have you seen? What you haven't seen? What are you going to see? Put your thoughts in there. We want to know exactly what you're thinking. All right, before we get to your questions, I got to tell you guys, I've been, like, I've been eating healthy, doing what I need to do.
Starting point is 01:05:20 And one of those ways that I've been doing that is with Factor. And I'm so glad that they are on the show. I'll tell you about them. And then we're going to get to the questions. Here you go. Oh, man. I love Factor so much. I really do. And you should be Factor at your best season yet with nutritious two-minute meals from Factor. Link are in the description for factor. All right, rocks. The Roxinator. Roxalida. Roxie, you don't got to turn on a way. The number.
Starting point is 01:07:08 Currently at 41. That's good. When Steph won last week, she was at 30 going into the question. So I think... I get so happy for her. When she wins, yeah, I think you've got a shot. She beat you last week. I think you got a shot to beat Rocha this week. But you need around 30, just about 30 right now to beat Roker.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Nathan Drake. Is it true that Daredevil viewership is lower than Agatha? I don't know what the current ones are. I feel like that is an accurate report that came out not too long ago, but I don't know what it is now. It's such a bummer because I'm about to release my media reaction to episode 8. I really love this show. I just really like this show a lot.
Starting point is 01:07:51 I think it's getting better and better. And it's a bummer that it's not as talked about as I thought it would be. I feel like nobody's talking about it. No one's talking about this show. People just don't care about it. And some people think it's bored. I don't know. Why do you think that is?
Starting point is 01:08:05 I don't know. I don't get it. People think it's bored. I don't understand. But I do know that Jack Fitzsimmons is a new YouTube member. Thank you, Jack. We got some stuff. We have an unedited reaction coming out soon.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Tom Hanks is in the house. Got trade coffee, medium roast order. Can't wait. Me too. But unfortunately, they gone. I got the word yesterday. They gone. I'm sorry. It is what it is. I mean, I'm going to keep drinking them. I love them. But we tried, guys. Maybe they'll come back. We'll see. Chris, Cawson, Roxy, have you gotten the chance to see the extended versions of Lord of the Rings yet? If not, no worries. Definitely watch them when you can. Your reactions on real rejects were great with Tara. See, it's positive.
Starting point is 01:08:46 So nice. No, I haven't. Greg didn't want us to watch the extended version. So he didn't. That's how it works. He's the head of the company. And he made, that decision and that works for me. But I wasn't going to watch them and then go home and rewatch them extended right away. I probably will at some point, but also I felt so burned by that community that I was like, I want nothing to do with this right now. Yeah, I understand that. But eventually when that subsides, you should. Yeah, then I will.
Starting point is 01:09:13 You should. It's so funny. I'll probably tell nobody and just keep it to myself. Understood. And I'll tell you, though, because I understand Greg's thought process there because Sam has never seen the Lord of the Rings movies and we're going to watch them. I will be watching the regular theatrical versions with her. And normally, when I watch them myself,
Starting point is 01:09:33 I only watch the extended cuts, but I'll be watching the theatrical. Because it's like four hours long each one. Chris follows it up. Christian, do you think we'll see any characters from Rogue One or a New Hope in And or Season 2, like a Belargana or Palpatine possibility, possibly, excuse me, can't wait for the season.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Sadd is coming to an end. Chris, I don't want to answer anything because I've already seen two episodes. So I didn't know that when I have the whole season. The end of the month. What is the sad it's coming to an end? Is this the final season? The final season, yeah. There's only two seasons, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:09 So I don't want to answer that one, Chris, because I don't want to give anything away. Shelby, support for Roxy, all the love this week. Shelby, I'm in support. Yeah, Rox's getting closer to Roca already. Shelby. I'm sure if he's in here, he's going to contribute. I watched adolescence based on Roxy's recommendation and wow I was absolutely floored by it a technical tour to force with a insane wire rack for the actors I've never seen anything like it I gotta watch it I know it's not being talked about enough for what it did it's amazing thanks Ewalk for taking my rack I'm glad you liked it everyone says it's really good um cool cash CG hey Christian when is the press screening for Thunderbolts also do you think we'll get a doomsday tease in the post or after credit scene I would assume that the Thunderbolts screening will be at the end of April is what I would assume because it's May 2nd is when the movie comes out.
Starting point is 01:11:01 So I was in the last week of April is when the screening is there's nothing yet. They usually don't send it out for like two weeks prior. Did you see it? I'm seeing it tomorrow because I was supposed to. There was another screening for it last night, but it was, I could probably could have seen it last night. I'm not. Okay. I wonder how did, did you see, did a, I guess I can't say.
Starting point is 01:11:22 Is it still an embargo? They're sooth embargoes up. So we posted for Real Rejects, Coyne Greg saw, and I haven't spoken to either of them, but I edited their review. It seems like they were floored by it. Really? It doesn't surprise me. It's Ryan Coogler, and I've heard that.
Starting point is 01:11:39 So I'm just hoping that the trailer was a complete mislead. Maybe that's exactly what the cases. As far as Cool Cash's question in regards to the Doomsday T's, no, I don't think we need to doomsday tease, but I do think we need to doomsday tease, but I do think we'll get a fantastic four tease. What do you think, Rocks? I don't know. I think that that's probably more in your camp,
Starting point is 01:12:01 but I wouldn't be shocked if we did. Dixon Sider, I love Roxy's Spirit, Jersey. She's in Boston. My mom's from Jersey. But maybe you like my Spirit jersey. Oh. Did I wear one? Is that what it is?
Starting point is 01:12:16 I don't know. Oh, okay. Leor M, support for Roxy and Christian. Have a good day. Thank you, Lear. I appreciate that. Thanks, Lear. Ewaq, winter is coming. Did you see that science? I did see this story. Did you see the story, Roxy? Did you see that science that have brought back dire wolves as in the same wolves from Game of Thrones that Winn extinct over 10,000 years ago? This is some drastic parkal level stuff. I did see that.
Starting point is 01:12:38 I did see it and I watched a bunch of stuff on it yesterday. I'm so glad you walked that you brought that up because I wanted to talk about this was somebody this week. This is a crazy, crazy story and shows you what science is capable in general. It also shows you like who the hell knows what else has been or is possible down the lines. What do you think about this? It's kind of scary and kind of cool. You know, it's unbelievable. But this is why I really try, especially in recent years, to not speak on things I don't know. I am so not a scientist and so not a doctor, which is why we have to listen to experts in our fields about what they know and what they can do. Because this was something that if you were like, could you do this? I would have been like,
Starting point is 01:13:24 no, who could do that? Someone could. They looked cute as crap. They really did. How are they going to age? And the question is how long will they survive? And is this, you know, you mentioned Jurassic Park. Is this something that eventually they would try with dinosaurs? If this is a 10,000, a woolly mammoth? Like, is this something that they think they did just see that they found a fossilite, a perfectly preserved fossilized dinosaur, which was like crazy. Right. So who knows? Crazy shit's coming down. Bobby Jackson, not sure if you heard, but theaters have a sneak peek showcase on April 22nd showing all the stuff that they showed at Cinemicon for five bucks.
Starting point is 01:14:06 That's pretty cool. No, I don't know that. I don't know that. I didn't hear that anyway. Did you hear that rocks? No, I love that. That's really great. I don't think I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 01:14:16 But I think that the fact that they offer that to people is pretty, it's pretty great. I like that. I like it. Wait a. How is it a click-baity headline? Who said, who? I don't know, Marco said very click-vady headline, but we talked about that for the majority. He's not talking about us.
Starting point is 01:14:35 That would be a stupid comment. He's not, he's talking about something. He's talking about a different story. He would be that if he was talking about us and the fact that we talked about that, then he's, then he's. That would be crazy. that he's he's no he doesn't mean us he's talking about he's talking about somebody in the comments that would be moronic um matt thunderbolts could be a victim of its release date it only has two weeks before mission impossible final destination uh guardians of galaxy one came out in august was zero competition sure
Starting point is 01:15:04 didn't you say three weekends christian i think we went through well it's got its weekend and then it's got two more so it's really it's really three total that it's got to cover so i don't think if you're putting a movie out and made that's when you want to put it you want to put it in the beginning when you don't have a lot of competition on it for sure totally yeah by the way he he said it wasn't about us i didn't think so there's no way there's no way i was no way i think he's probably talking about something else in general so yeah that sounds good um okay polo marco marco polo nathan drake paramount confirmed from 1944 is the next Yellowstone
Starting point is 01:15:43 Stone spin-off series will focus on Spencer and his son during World War II area. Sounds great. Oh, I was going to say that's okay, that's interesting because when it ended, I knew 1944 was coming out. So I was like... What are the years that we've gotten?
Starting point is 01:15:58 1883, 19, 1883, is that what are? 183? Yeah. And then and then 1944 will be this one. Wait, 1883, 1923.
Starting point is 01:16:10 1923. 1944. Because I was going to say if Spencer, if they're doing 1944, Spencer would be alive. So the question is, is he, because it's only, it's only what, 12 years later. So or no, no, no, 20, 22 years later, 20, 21 years later. Sorry, math. What would the World War II show look like for this? Yeah, well, he wouldn't be in World War II. What is, what his son? You know, like? So that's, that's interesting. be in the same way that well i guess his son would be right because he would have to be drafted he would be in his 20s the question is which we know because so the sun apparently is so i didn't watch yellowstone so i just know that is definitely kovickevian played kevin costner's
Starting point is 01:17:00 dad in one point well that's definitely Coleman is is the son so the question is how much stuff i don't know so that's that is interesting i'm excited to see i just wonder if Sclinar will be in it or it'll be someone else playing. Oh, yeah. Because it's 22 years later. Or so is Scunar playing him or he's going to play it? I mean, he has been booking everything. Yeah, yeah. The movie I'm going to see tonight. He's in.
Starting point is 01:17:27 What is that? Drop. Oh, yeah, yeah. I heard really good things. Looking forward to seeing it. Mike Joyce, watch showgirls for the first time. Wow, I'm surprised that got a theatrical release. That pool scene is quite memorable. Have you seen it? Yeah, of course. And it would be the reason it got, released because Esther House
Starting point is 01:17:43 Estrehouse was was was huge in the 90s and and it was right right when you're surprised I had a theatrical release from when you it's not a good movie it's a terrible movie but probably because he it's opposed to like I think because it's so bad it directed direct to DVD
Starting point is 01:18:00 or whatever you know at the time direct to video 95 did how many direct to video there's tons of directs of videos movies back then are just straight too but but that was not one of them. Yeah. So it's a pretty good movie overall. It was all right.
Starting point is 01:18:16 Well, there you go. Gina Gershaw was stunning. I surprised you're so enamored with 90s Julia Roberts when 90s Gina Gershont. I think she's sexy too, but it just said, Julie Roberts is. I watched Bound for Real Rejects. So sexy in that. Yeah. Great movie.
Starting point is 01:18:29 I mean. Great movie. Oh my God. I know. It's a great movie. I mean, oh my God. But I don't know. I think Gina Gershon's so sexy.
Starting point is 01:18:37 But Jennifer Tilly to me might be the sexiest person of all. all time. She's really good in a liar liar. Jennifer Tilly. Yeah. I haven't seen Lyer Lion so long. I don't even remember her in it. Yeah. Oh yeah. She's she she's the she's who he's representing. Oh wow. That's crazy. I haven't seen Lyer Lyer in years. I'm obsessed with the Chucky franchise and that's what I thought was the first time I ever saw Jennifer Tilly. But you know, she was in one of my she was in a movie that I love love in the 80s called um let it ride with Richard Dreyfus. And she plays like the like the the the sexy girlfriend of this rich guy who is there.
Starting point is 01:19:21 And Richard, Richard Reifis is kind of down in his luck gambler who's just having the best day of his life betting on horses, it's almost like magic. It's a great movie. I love that movie so much. Go pal. We know Rock's in bound. So she's familiar with 90s, Gina Gershon.
Starting point is 01:19:35 Showgirls was my big senior year in high school. Why were they both talking about Gina Gershon? Probably saw the Super Chapman. Yeah, I love Bound. So are you more into Gina Gershawn than you are, Jennifer Tilly? Yeah, I think she's a little more. They're both sexy, but I think that Gina Gershont had a little bit more. I like the sass.
Starting point is 01:19:55 I like the sass. Oh, that's such a good movie. That always gets me. Armada, the new Lady Gaga album is decent, very 80s. I haven't heard. I did listen to the new Mumford and Sons. Oh, how's that? Good?
Starting point is 01:20:08 I was so excited. They haven't dropped an album in like seven years. Yeah, that's great. Mike Joyce, I'm eating Chipotle. I may be gassing no matter what. That's the truth. That's what happened. But you also gave support.
Starting point is 01:20:20 So now you'll be less gassy. That's true. And Roxy, you are at 55. You're approaching Roka. You need about 13 a tie. Hell yeah. Bobby Jackson. Have either of you watched the trailer for Havoc coming on on Netflix this month with
Starting point is 01:20:33 Tom Hardy and directed by Gareth Evans who did the raid one and two? I did watch the trailer. It looks awesome. I think it is so crazy. that I can be in the industry I'm in, feel like my fingers on the pulse, and there could be a Tom Hardy movie directed by Gareth Evans, who I have never heard of this before you just entered the Superjet.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Oh my God, Roxy looks so good. I've literally never heard of it. Bobby, thank you for putting this on my radar. You have to look at the trailer. It looks so good. Speaking of which, so I don't know how familiar you are with MMA and stuff, Roxy, I don't know if you are at all.
Starting point is 01:21:03 No, death is very familiar with MMA, not me. Boss Rutan is like legend, right? He's a legend. To want a toughest dude. This is an amazing name. When you said it earlier, I don't know who that is, but that's a sick name. He's, he's, just a badass. Everybody respects Boss Routon, right?
Starting point is 01:21:18 He's, he was in. Is his person named B-O-S-S-B-A-S boss? B-A-S. Boss. Just to show, I'll show you a picture as we pull this. This is, this is Boss Routen from when he was, right? Just to show you, he just looks like a damn badass, right? So let me show you.
Starting point is 01:21:35 And so, anyway, he was in the documentary. You know that movie that's coming out with The Rock about the MMA fighter? No. It's an A-24 movie. It's called The Smashing Machine. Oh. And so it's based on and so Mark Kerr is the fighter and boss was really good friends with Kerr and was in his corner and everything too and he was in the documentary. They liked him so much in the documentary. They cast him as himself in the smashing machine. He talked about it a little bit, but he is. I want to see the picture.
Starting point is 01:22:05 Yeah, I'm going. I'm trying to bring it up there. I'm going, I'm going. What was my point with that? I had a point. What we were talking about? Oh, so we asked him who, all the people in Hollywood, as far as who the real toughest person he thinks is in Hollywood, he said Tom Hardy. He said Tom Hardy's out there actually fighting in tournaments and stuff. Look at that.
Starting point is 01:22:26 Look at that. Would you fight that guy? I wouldn't. No, it's more his face than his body. He looks so serious. Oh, yeah. And that's when he was in his prime, obviously. but like he's what an absolute
Starting point is 01:22:38 How old is he not in his prime now? Nah, he's got to be in his late 50s, I would assume. Let's see, maybe even older. I don't know, let's see. I'm not sure. 60. He's 60 years old. But he still, he could beat up 20, 20-year-olds with his left hand.
Starting point is 01:22:58 Anyway, so yes, I'm very excited to see that movie, Bobby. I think it's going to be, I'm glad to see Tom Hardy coming back. I haven't watched Mobland yet, have you? No. I'm going to watch that one too. Armada, her neighbor definitely wrecked Jose's unit. That's so bad. For Jose. No way.
Starting point is 01:23:18 No way? Come on, that was better than you give me credit for. Chris Greenier. I don't understand why you think it was good, because it rhymes. No way, Jose. You never heard people say that? No way, Jose. I've heard it, but that's a saying.
Starting point is 01:23:32 Like that was no way. Come on, that was good. Chris Graney or hopefully Jose didn't use a black light. No shit. I'll tell you what. And luckily Jose. After all this time, I don't know whether this was her job or her fun. And I still don't know what was happening in there.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Sex. Yeah. You know that. Mark, Jason, Ali, love to see you, Roxy and Christian. How are your families? Thank you, Mark. Nice to see you too, buddy. Families are good, man.
Starting point is 01:23:59 Everybody's doing good. It's been the little one. It's just the little one to decide it this morning. She goes, I don't know where this came from. She goes, Dad, put on Irish music. I was like, why? She was like, because I want to dance to Irish music. What did you do?
Starting point is 01:24:13 I put on some Irish music. Found them some on YouTube, actually. The kid puts her hands on her hips and starts doing the Kate Mulligan dance. Like she's been doing it like she'd been doing it all of her life. She never did it once ever. She's turning around. She's kicking her legs out. And she's like, I want to take Irish dancing lessons.
Starting point is 01:24:29 Like, okay. Did you ask her where she got this from? I think, where did she say it? She said she heard something on TV or something, but too, but I don't know where it was, but she, she's, go back. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:40 What? Go back. I'm a person too. Wait. What I'm, I love to see you. Oh yeah. How's your families?
Starting point is 01:24:49 My families. Okay. Thank you for asking. It's been a very tough week. I'm assuming that's why Mark Jason Ali is asking me about it. I adore you, Mark. And it's been challenging. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:25:00 That's what I'm saying. Man, Sinister, McHale. Can't wait for Lone, for Lioness, loneliness, I was going to say. Lioness, Roxy. Honestly, I would watch Beck and Sell paint a barn. What is your favorite Beck and Sale movie? Underworld for me, the tight black leather shoe.
Starting point is 01:25:16 I got to say serendipity. Oh, that's a really good one. I, I, luckily in this movie, she does a lot more than Painted Barn. But, yeah, she kicks major butt. I only watched the underworld movies for the first time for, their Rejects channel. Did I tell you that? I'd never seen them before. Before after the movie. Before,
Starting point is 01:25:39 before, before. Before I knew anything about the movie. So in the last year. And that was so cool and I'm like obsessed with those movies now. So I feel like those are top of mind. But there's another one. I was looking at something recently. I was like, I completely forgot that was
Starting point is 01:25:55 her. And I wanted to, I'm looking right now to see if I can tell you guys what it was. When I find it, I'll let you guys know. do you know I was kind of in a movie with Kay Beck and Sell? I don't understand how that's possible. Do you get cut out? Yes, but I still got paid for it for about 15 years. Really?
Starting point is 01:26:14 Yeah, White Out is a movie that she was in. And they had, and I worked for Silver at the time. I was just leaving and they liked my voice. They wanted me to do the voiceover for when they're in this compound. And I did this whole thing, went and did all the 80s, everything. My voice was in it. And then they decided last minute they wanted to use. a different voice actor, but they liked my stuff.
Starting point is 01:26:34 I got paid for it. You're a shot of it. So there you go. That's good. It was Pearl Harbor. I forgot she was in that. I actually love that movie. Oh, yeah. But Underworld's probably my favorite. Serendipity is a great choice, though. All right.
Starting point is 01:26:49 Bobby Jackson, the trailer for the animated predator movie directed by Dan Trasper dropped this morning. Plan on watching the movie? Comes out on Hulu, June 6. Probably it will. Because I like, I think that Traschenberg has a hold on what the Predator franchise is all about. So yes, I, it, it actually goes back to my earlier points, Bobby, of what I've said many times over where people mistakenly think that if a movie's been done a thousand
Starting point is 01:27:14 times overly, let's say Terminator, which I always use the example, that it's dead, the franchise is dead, you can't do anything more with it, just let it die. And my stance has always been, no, the right people just haven't gotten a hold of it. Doesn't mean that the right people will ever get a hold of it, but it just means the right people haven't. I think Dan Trachenberg is one of those people who got a hold of the predator when the franchise was getting beaten to death. And he got a hold of it,
Starting point is 01:27:40 put together prey, which had the essence. I still haven't seen it. You really like it. Yeah, it's like it has the essence of what a predator movie is. And I think he gets it. So yes, I will be watching it because of that. If it wasn't him, I don't know if I would have.
Starting point is 01:27:52 This is from Zeeby. Rocks. I've never had Apple Plus. If I get it for the first time, one of the first four shows you would recommend watching after severance, obviously. I mean, first of all, I think it is the must-have streaming platform. I agree with you. That's such a difficult question, and I love that you gave me after severance, so really I get fun.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Just mention mine. Mention the one that I would say. And then you have to use one of mine. You have to use one of these four. Are you going to, is it shrinking silo? What's your- Oh, shrinking is a good one, too, but no. It's not silo or shrinking?
Starting point is 01:28:27 Never seen silo? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What is yours? No. Dark matter? Yes. Dark matter. Okay.
Starting point is 01:28:36 Actually, Dark matter wouldn't be in my four. But I love Dark Matter. I think Ted Lassow. You need to feel good one. Shrinking. It's so good. Silo and probably the morning show. That's where I would start.
Starting point is 01:28:56 However, I love bad sisters. I love slow horses. I love Mythic Quest. I love the studio. So many good things. Do they have a deal with Warner Brothers or something? Because all of the stuff that is shot on the studio, it's all at Warner Brothers. That's all.
Starting point is 01:29:12 I don't know. I mean, they must. That's the one of the plot. I mean, I worked there. Oh, I love that monkey. That was so good. I love Bark Matter. I love Masters of the Air.
Starting point is 01:29:24 They have hit after hit. One of the shows that I've only seen an episode of, but I want to eventually get to is for all mankind. People love that show. Andrew Guy was in that too. Yes, he was. Yeah, I mean, severance first. Severance. Go pal, remember the dashed line on Weird Barbie's map that got abandoned Vietnam because they drew the Chinese claims so the movie could open in the PRC. I heard something like there was something that on Weird Barbie like, what's her face? Kate McKinnon's. Yeah. There was something that got it. Dash line. I don't remember what it was, but it was something that I can't remember he's at.
Starting point is 01:29:58 Like what he said? That was taken out. There was something on the map. There was like something, there's like something written on it. So. Oh. GoPow says, is hand man,
Starting point is 01:30:07 handmaid's tail still good? I fell off in season two because it was too depressing and I didn't realize it was still on. It's, to me, it's still so great. One of the things I will say is I'm hopeful this season is not depressing because we're coming to the end.
Starting point is 01:30:23 So I want to finally, I feel like I've been watching this for years. I want to see us. get all the vengeance. That hasn't happened yet, but that's what I'm hoping for. Chris Grenier, as someone that is 100% anti-Trump, I understand what he is trying to do, but it's too much too fast. Change needs to be slow and steady, not full blast.
Starting point is 01:30:44 I mean, as Roxy said, we're just going to be kind of sitting here watching. There's nothing anyone else can do. And watching and being affected. Yeah. The credibility account is doing very poorly. What is? My fidelity. Holy crap.
Starting point is 01:31:01 I don't want to open at all anymore. I'm just like, that's true. No way, Jose. Yes, way, essay. Hey, hey. There you go. See, people like my joke. Go pal says Ovi passed
Starting point is 01:31:15 Bresci's goal record. Do you think anyone will touch his points record? Goal plus assists. I can't, I can't pretend. I know. I can't pretend I know enough about hockey to get into that with you. I was always a Mark Messier guy. That's all I know.
Starting point is 01:31:28 I'm sorry. Dixon Sider, do you think Minecraft movie will crack a billion? Yes, I do. Yeah, I don't think there's any competition. And I'm telling you, Roxy, like, it is so, yes, it's one of these things like, hey, we have nothing to take the kids to. What about that Minecraft movie? All right, let's go take the kids to see it. I'm telling me. It cracks a billion. That's crazy. It made more than Mario did in its opening weekend. I'm not saying no. No, I know. I'm just saying. That would be crazy. That's a movie I would have never predicted that made a billion. Zeus Fleming, could you see the tariff war is affecting films being made in Canada? I can see it affecting films being in everywhere.
Starting point is 01:32:06 TV shows in Canada. So much of CW stuff was shot there in Vancouver is like so much stuff. Same with Toronto. It's going to change a lot of stuff. Yeah. What they need to do if they want to, like if they're going to,
Starting point is 01:32:23 it's filming in L.A., I think it was Rob Lowe or somebody else talking about this, Filming in LA is a joke. Yeah, I heard that too. It's a joke. And they are trying to give more incentives, but they haven't. You have to. You got to offer the tax credits.
Starting point is 01:32:38 You got to do everything you can do. And you got to get back. You got to get it back. They're giving you an opportunity to take it back to shoot stuff here in the States. Take it back and stop overcharging people, idiots. It's such a bummer. It's not just in the States. It's that this is the, the, the.
Starting point is 01:32:58 center of Los Angeles. Yes. It's supposed to be the hub for end- and no one knows there. Nothing shoots here and rightfully so because you lose money. It's no tax. It's so it's really, it's idiocy. And as Roblo said, it's idiocy.
Starting point is 01:33:12 It's almost criminal. Bobo Baggit 66. Hope you guys are doing good. Christian and Roxy, you were both tight. Wait, Christian and Roxy, you were both tight. Hot-hold? Keep reading. Hopefully Roxy gets that workaholics reference. Do you?
Starting point is 01:33:26 I didn't watch workaholics, but I, understand that it was a reference and wanted to hear Christian say it anyway. Okay. Go Pal, that's the girl from the politician with Ben Platt. Who is? I think the girl from 1923. Oh, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:40 I didn't see that. I didn't see that. Yeah, I think you're right. Matt Thomas, what's up, Matt? I have watched the entire first season of the studio three times already.
Starting point is 01:33:48 I'm working on the fourth. This is easily my favorite new series and shrinking. Apple really doesn't miss. Maybe Beth. So you have screeners for this, man? A bunch of people guys. stream the whole season i know roka got roka seen the whole thing too i can't believe that you watched it you're on your fourth time people he loves it that's crazy and just he's basically echoing what you
Starting point is 01:34:09 said that apple is the best it's the best patty way says you're the best roxy is the best better than daddy's having trouble it's me no daddy no no bobby jackson loved 1923 but it reminded me of watching lost in space when i was a kid it was out of the frying pan and into more fire each week was a great finale it sure was a great finale it was There is something that happens in the, I'll just say in the snow that is highly unbelievable. And I did not care. I did not care. It's like overly romanticized and I thought it was great.
Starting point is 01:34:42 I completely agree with you. I was walking and I was like, huh. It's so, it's so coincidental. And it's so. I saw it coming though, because I was like the timing is just. The timing of it. And, but like everything that happens and I'm like, all right. But they call it the Odyssey.
Starting point is 01:35:02 So I, I knew like, and I love that. I love that. Yeah. La do so via. I love Via. Maya. Mirjam, support for Roxy. Well, we get closer, it's 65.
Starting point is 01:35:14 Roxy only three away. Mike Joyce. What's something you didn't understand people's obsession with until you tried it? I just listened to the Beatles' entire discography over the past week. Shogun. Oh, Shogun was the one for me. People were obsessed with Shogun.
Starting point is 01:35:31 I kept telling me about it. I said, come on. And then I finally watched it. It was one of my favorite shows that I've maybe seen in quite a long time. Matrix. Oh,
Starting point is 01:35:41 yeah. Everybody talked about it for decades. I was like, well, is it. Everybody is that good. And I was like, I haven't seen it.
Starting point is 01:35:47 There's so many movies you guys that you both hadn't seen. So many. So many. I only grew up on television. I know. It seems to. Renee Reyes. Christian, I wish you'd cover the White Lotus. Seems right up your alley. Keep up the good work, y'all. I watched like the first episode of the first season with my wife. And like I said, many times over. It's very hard. My wife is not into something. She wasn't into White Lotus. No, she actually tried to pick it back up without me recently. And she couldn't get into it again. And I just, I'm shocked by that. Yeah, she didn't dig it. My dad watched it though. My dad likes White Lotus. Mike Joyce, I totally understand why they're so beloved. Before that, I just listened to a few of their
Starting point is 01:36:25 popular songs. Bruce is next. Bruce. Bruce is the best. I, and you and I had this conversation. The background on my phone. Look at that. I have a really good picture from the last, I told you, I went to, I went to see Bruce before. It was like the week before, week or two before I left from New York, to New York. And I, my friend and where was it? It was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was it, was an, was it, LA. But my, it was at a, where the hell was it in LA? But my, Andrew Fried, I went, I don't know. I don't remember where the hell it was. But it was, it was a good show. Um, the studio is awesome, says Mirjam. Yes,
Starting point is 01:37:05 it is. It's a really good. Armada, maybe if you do decide, record the extended Lord of the, Lord of the Reigns reactions, you can cut each movie into three part videos. It's just a matter of, um, when we would have the time to shoot four hour videos, Armada. That's the main thing. It really is. Uh, four hours. Yeah. I'm going into it and then discussing afterwards, you need a five hour chunk for that. Yeah, it's a lot. Julius Wyatt, shout out to Jimmy Usso for finally giving Jay's story life.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Facts. It's the only reason that, that story is interesting at all. It's for WrestleMania stuff, proxy. I know. You were telling me about this last time. Yeah. It's getting interesting because they're, they're actually adding a little bit more story into it because for some reason they
Starting point is 01:37:47 thought Jay Usso was going to be a main event person. He's not. Jake, so excited for Andor. is it weird the biggest thing about the show i look forward to is just two people in a room talking the writing is stellar that's what this show is i'm telling people from the i like the intellectual dialogue that is happening in this world the politics behind it what's happening in the world of star wars the lead up the the character building i can tell you this without saying anything else you're going to get the same comments it's slow it's boring nothing happening you're going to see the same
Starting point is 01:38:19 stuff happening already. I can already see it. To me, that's the stuff that really works is the same thing that Jake's saying. It's the dialogue leading into it, building into the storyline. You still haven't watched season one, have you? No, I watched it. Oh, you did you? Andor? Yes, the only one I haven't watched
Starting point is 01:38:35 Just Soka. Right. No, I like Andor. I didn't love it the way that other people loved it. I liked it. We would talk about it on World Worlds every week. It was Dorena's favorite show. She was absolutely obsessed with it. Yeah, she loved it. And so did Steph. They both loved it so much that I think it actually made me love it a little less because I was like, every week I was like, oh, it's good.
Starting point is 01:38:57 But they were like, this is revolutionary television. And it is like, and I was like, huh, I think it's fine. Okay. Not fine. Good. I definitely thought it was good. Okay. Alex.
Starting point is 01:39:07 In my opinion, it feels Dear Double is trying too hard to come off like a dark mature HBO project. And it shows. Outside of Kingpin on board, Agatha has been the only show to reach the heights of WandaVision or Loki in my opinion. Okay, look, I agree to disagree on this one. We have different taste. I didn't like Laundavisian. I thought Loki was okay. I liked Agatha, but Daredevil's the best of those to me.
Starting point is 01:39:29 Yeah. But hey, Agatha was a fun show. Yeah. But I think quality-wise, I think Daredeals is a way better show. Bitch boy, bet a steak dinner, Superman versus Fantastic Four. I don't, I think we might be on the same page, though. I would never bet a steak dinner on this. You would be on the same page.
Starting point is 01:39:50 We think it's Superman. Yeah. Yeah. Superman's going to, it's going to make. So I'll get you a steak dinner if you get me a steak dinner. Bitch boy. Hey, can you have Roxanne every show, please? She's not available.
Starting point is 01:40:02 Oh, my God. Oh, my God, bitch boy. Do you want to start being on Wednesday? What? Do you want to start being on Wednesdays also? You want me on? Well, Rogue is going to start hosting them more. I'm going to need somebody to jump on with him.
Starting point is 01:40:15 I think Wednesdays are pretty good for me. All right. So we might start putting you on some of those shows too. So there you go. Bitch boy. Thanks for helping us out. I'm obsessed with bitch boy. Yeah. Nice job. Bitch boy. It's one of my favorite was one of my favorite quotes or you ever see that or videos. The one where it's like a weather guy who comes. He's asking the kid at the convenience store and he goes, what do you think about the weather and everything too? And he goes, wouldn't you like to know weather boy? The little kid calls him weather boy. And he goes, I don't think so. Who are your parents? It's hilarious. Paul Hitchcock, you see the Predator Killer of Killers trailer? No, I did not see it yet.
Starting point is 01:40:53 I did not see it. I probably wait. Josh Needle. What is Killer of Killers? Is that the animated? The animated one that Bobby was talking about. Josh Needle, I feel about Deer Devil the way you do about skeleton crew.
Starting point is 01:41:02 I just don't care enough to bother. That's fair. I'm over the MCU TV shows. Give me great movies again. You can't argue with that. It's a, you aren't saying it sucks. You're saying,
Starting point is 01:41:12 I don't feel like it. I saw some dopey video from somebody saying like, Skeleton Crow, is the ideal show. It is, it is peak Star Wars. And that's not what I'm making fun of. What I'm making fun of is, and if you don't like it,
Starting point is 01:41:26 then you're the part of the problem that you won't even give it a shot and watch it. It's key Star Wars. And it's like, wait a minute, it's the same thing. If I'm already beaten down by some of these shows, and it doesn't interest me because I don't think it's, you know,
Starting point is 01:41:40 going towards me, then I don't want to watch it. However, if I was then saying people, hey, if you watch that show, you're not a real Star Wars fan, then I'm part of the problem. But if you are saying because I didn't watch it, I'm not a real Star Wars fan, you are part of the problem.
Starting point is 01:41:58 It's like, you know, if people don't have an interest in something, then I'm an interest in it. That's it. Can I give you my hot take? Sure. I, more than any franchise, more than Star Wars or Marvel or anything, I am a television fan. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:15 So I watch, as you guys know, 120 shows a year. Most people watch 10 shows a year. And so when people are obsessed with certain things, like skeleton crew, like if you don't like it, you're the problem. Daredevil, low-key, Wanda Vision, whatever you guys think is the best show of the year. I'm not saying your feelings aren't valid. But there's almost never are the Marvel or Star Wars shows
Starting point is 01:42:45 a top 10 show of the year for me. Almost never, because I'm a television fan, and usually they're not the best TV shows. They're really good or mid or whatever, but it's not the best TV show of the year. So it's just so different when I'm talking about television. That's my life. Right.
Starting point is 01:43:05 So it's crazy when you hear people be like, then you're the problem. I watch Skeleton Crew, obviously. I like Skeleton Crew. Yeah. I've heard nothing but good things about it, but it was just working. about that show that I would be like if you don't like it I'm like if you don't like it it probably
Starting point is 01:43:20 wasn't for you that's the thing is I just didn't I watched the first two episodes okay fine just it just doesn't doesn't seem like it's something I really want to watch but I hope everybody who watches enjoys it enjoys it I want to be told well you're not real Star Wars fan then because you you didn't watch it's it's key Star Wars it's like to you not to everybody else I'm glad you enjoyed it that's awesome but it also depends on where you're coming from I'm saying like yes yes I agree yeah yeah I totally agree with you But that's why I respect that comment about terrible. Christian De Hoit, support for Roxy. Not sure if you talked about this, but how amazing was the severance finale?
Starting point is 01:43:52 It was great. If you don't like it, you're the problem. It was a great finale. It was really, really good. I think I told you, the only thing that I didn't like was the band, which you gave, you gave a good example as far as not why they had the band. That I understood. It was the fact that when a certain person was,
Starting point is 01:44:12 put somewhere. They were sent- We don't know yet. We don't know yet. So I love the finale. I thought it was So good. Devastating. Amazing. High highs, low lows, Gwendolyn Christie finally doing our thing. It was great. Yeah, we talked about a little bit last week. Alex, Jennifer Tilly
Starting point is 01:44:29 plays Madame Leota in the awful 2003 Eddie Murphy Haunted Mansion film. Oh my God. Not that 2020 was much better. Upset we didn't get the Deltoro Ryan Gosling one announced in 2010. I didn't know there's a story. much news that I'm getting in one thing. Alex,
Starting point is 01:44:46 you just blew my mind ten times. The Haunted Mansion one Ray Murphy remember. Do you remember Jennifer Tilly being in it? No, I don't. I don't, I don't, I don't, if I've ever seen it, I don't know if I've ever seen it. I just remember it. I just remember that it was a thing. Did you know there were the Guillermo
Starting point is 01:45:02 Deltoro, Ryan Gosling? One announced, no, that I did not know, but I did know about the 2023 one, but I will say my, my oldest, I didn't, but my oldest loved it. Oh, yeah. Brett Flint. What's up, Brett?
Starting point is 01:45:16 Did you see Marvel uploading an eight hour video of Hugh Jackman breathing? Yeah, I watched every second of it. It was dope. I could actually see that they would probably do something like that for a goof. Armada. When is Kate going to be back on this show? Kate's schedule is really tough. She's teaching now.
Starting point is 01:45:34 She doesn't really have time like she used to to be able to do it. Kate responds to my text 45 days later. she's so slammed you can not get in touch with that no it's tough uh Zach Roberts Christian UFC Vogue versus Lopez on Saturday who you got I I'm not going to pretend
Starting point is 01:45:51 that I'm as updated as I as I used to be right I don't I can't give you an accurate production prediction on it because I don't I don't have enough Definitely Lopez you said Lopes Lopes I think it's Lopez
Starting point is 01:46:04 All right I have no idea I don't know you do these two Trey Porter went down a rabbit hole of Brendan Scunar clips on 1923 this past week and I totally get why he's your number one choice for Batman now. I mean, that's a good way for people to do it too because I've been talking about him for so long now
Starting point is 01:46:19 that people are probably like, I'm not going to watch the whole show, but we go back and watch some clips. Do you see him standing next to Harrison 40? Like towered over him. Yes, I did. You're preaching. I know. I know. I know.
Starting point is 01:46:32 I think, I think, Roxie, this is going to be what, when you and I called Robert Pattinson being Batman before anybody, had it. We're having a conversation. You know who would be a good Batman? Robert Pattinson on the Collider Live? This is that conversation again. Yeah. I think I think he's going to be with you. I'm still with you. I think it would be a major mistake if James Gunn does not put him in it. I really do. Um, Stuart. So perfect. Yeah, perfect. I watched a complete unknown for the first time and loved it. So good. James Mangold is director. Everyone should look out for.
Starting point is 01:47:06 It's so good. I'm so glad that that's the last thing that he's been talked about now. and not the Indiana Jones movie. I love this. I love this movie so much. I think the comment, he's a director everyone should look out for is funny because he's a big director. He said that.
Starting point is 01:47:21 It was like he's like some like little indie guy on the rise. He's just, but he's, I'm, this makes me again, he's, he's really great. He's had a couple of things that were,
Starting point is 01:47:31 like the Indiana Jones, they're not the great. And I want to have a studio appearance he had to. There's a couple other things like I don't love night. What's it called? Night and Day with Cameron Dias. and Tom Cruise did not like that movie but he's got so many movies that I love whether it's be on the lookout for him yeah I will Ryan S rocks boss is in here comes the boom with Kevin
Starting point is 01:47:52 James yeah he talks about it actually quite quite often have you seen that one no okay it's a good movie actually if I was gonna guess I'd say anywhere between the 2012 2014 oh no if I was gonna guess let me see here comes the boom Um, what year? 2012, 2012. It, it was actually a lot better than it should have been. I remember when Ellis and I saw it in the theater, we couldn't believe it. It was like, it was good. Bobby Jackson, Dan Trajover should be offered more things. He has no misses as a director so far. Reminds me of Travis Knight. He gets the IP he works with. That's, that's what you hope that these people that are getting hired to do. And it's not just like this, these people who actually love these things.
Starting point is 01:48:39 When I said Bobby Jackson's name, I feel. piece. Like I know it's not going to be a guy. I know the comment's going to be like so worth us talking about valid like I just feel like okay it's Bobby jacks. Bobby is the greatest. And I'm not even exaggerating this. One of the things that made me sad about leaving LA is like when when I do events now I'm not going to see Bobby. I know he's just so great. And like I don't have to feel like worried what's the comment. I'm just like oh yeah, it's Bobby. You know what it is about him also? He represents the type of fan that you want. on where I've had many conversations with him after live shows where he hasn't agreed with
Starting point is 01:49:17 certain takes that I've had. But we have a discussion. With civility like an adult and a human. Yeah, I'm obsessed. Bobby Jackson rules. Alex, the Handmaid's Tale has a crazy ending in the book. Have you read it, Roxy? We'll be interesting to see if they go with the epilogue or skip it. No, I haven't read it. Please don't tell me what it is. This is a conversation I had also one in the morning, with Greg last night that he's so nervous about. I'm covering the last of us for and he's. How many have you watched?
Starting point is 01:49:50 Of season two. Yeah. Only one. Okay. He's very concerned that, you know, like oftentimes Greg has people get off of social before they've seen something like he had Andrew get off of social media for three months waiting for Deadpool Wolverine. But I can't do that for my life and my jobs.
Starting point is 01:50:09 I'm so afraid of I've never been somebody afraid of spoilers I'm so afraid of spoilers for that and I've heard that Handmaid's Tale has crazy spoilers too I just hope people can be like nice and respectful and not crazy people and spoil things. I'm stoked
Starting point is 01:50:26 and I bet if there's a crazy ending in the book I'm sure they will go with it. Yeah. InS sending support and love and support for Roxy and Remembrance for Papa. Oh thank you so much honey I appreciate that. Leon hi I love the show thank you we appreciate that. Roxy, you've beaten Roca so far this week, 77.
Starting point is 01:50:43 Woo! 77. But the question is, can you defeat Steph this week? What did you have last week? 100 and something. But Roca and Sean Chandler are on tomorrow too, so they got a shot too. PLD projects. Wait, if Roxy and Rocha are on the same show, it would be so conflicted about super chatting. Well, that's not yet. That's not yet. Paul Marquez saw the-
Starting point is 01:51:09 Actually, Rook and I have awesome conversations when we're together. I love him. So what's this? You know what this was? You've seen this? What? You're reading this comment? What?
Starting point is 01:51:22 You're not reading the comment that's up on the screen right now? Should I or should I not? You read it. It's to you. I'm scared. Why are you having me read something? I'm asking, he's talking to you, Paul. Saw the, the M8 last Saturday.
Starting point is 01:51:41 It was really good Queen Rocks. You know what he's talking about? I don't. No, I haven't. Is this a gotcha thing? Talking to you, no. What is the amate? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:51:49 That's why I'm asking you. I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. Do you think you mean the amateur? Maybe. Isn't that what you saw? That's what I was supposed to see. But I love the Queen Ruxit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:59 Thank you. I thought it was going to be one of those things where when you say it's like a sexual innuendo or something. No, no, no. Like, have you ever spelled I hop and then say Ness? No, you, if, trust me, if there was something you were going to say. I hop and then say next. Spell it. No, I know that one already.
Starting point is 01:52:16 No, I hop and say that. There's only one person talking about penis on this show. Talk? Yeah. All right, let's go. Next one. And that is, about ThunderCloud.
Starting point is 01:52:27 Have you seen Blue Ice Hammer on Netflix? No, what I heard. Nothing but great things. Same. Yeah. Christian DeHoy, Roxy, and Roku would be fired.
Starting point is 01:52:34 They've been on the show. They did one at least once or twice. And I think the show did pretty well. Julius Wyatt, I like Daredevil, but I don't love it. I think it is the second best Marvel show, but for me, that's not a high bar. Only Marvel show I've loved is Loki. I tell you, we right now, we just put up our Winter Soldier, Falcon and Winter Soldier episodes
Starting point is 01:52:53 1 through 3 today. I like that show when I watched it, and I like it again, as I'm watching. I thought you liked that show, Roxy. Didn't you like Falcon and Winter Soldier? Loved. You did, right, right. Sam loves it, too. She liked it.
Starting point is 01:53:05 And she loved. And she loved Wanda Vision. She liked this better. Daredevil's writing just has severely disappointed me. Oh, it feels incredibly disjointed without direct narrative. If you knew Muse in the comments, it might better explain my comment. They went like. So I won't argue with that because I actually make my point about that
Starting point is 01:53:23 in the thing that I'm discussing in the show that in the episode I'm discussing tonight. I don't have enough reference for Muse. So it didn't bother me in how he was handled. But I'm sure that if I followed him in the comics, that I could see an issue with it, but I really, I'm really digging. I really dig it. Alex, Deltoro and Disney announced it at San Diego Comic-Con, and then it was in development hell for years because Disney didn't want to go as dark as Gama DeToro wanted to.
Starting point is 01:53:49 That would have been a sick move for them. It would have been. Zeus Fleming. Roxy, what's your thoughts on acting coaches? Definitely, yes. I always think, though, in any area of your life, you want somebody who has been successful in the area that you are, getting advice from. So, you know, if you're going to a career coach, you want them to have had a successful career. If you're going to an acting coach, you want somebody who's booked
Starting point is 01:54:13 things, somebody who has trained at places that you respect. I have had several acting coaches over the years. And I love acting class, but coaching, especially if you have a big audition, it's like so much better. Totally. Did you, Christian, because this was your world for a little, what do you think about acting coaches? I think they're great. I had a Leslie Khan was a was a was really loves Leslie I choose I got along with her really really well I think that that's where uh drew is oh okay she she encouraged you guy with a big Leslie calm person I think so okay yeah she's great uh tray porter the part where splenar whispers to the guy that he'll mop the eff and floor with you the gala plus their fight on the deck on the ship sealed it 1,000 percent so good
Starting point is 01:54:58 in that and in the in the barracks and in this one mark jason we're for roxy adolescence was great Thank you for the recommendation. I love this. Mark. Okay. Leon, love your comedy and times you lost the playlist. Just watch Kalinowski versus the internet and Peter Pumpkin Eaters. So funny.
Starting point is 01:55:15 Keep it coming. We put a playlist together. I think that the one that should be in there also was that one where, what was that moment that you and I had not too long ago? And we made it as a clip and you posted it on your on your Instagram too. Was it with the sound where I didn't know where the noise was coming from in studio. That one's on there, too. We've got to do more of those. Bobby Jackson, on the community post, you threw out a suggestion of a live event with Sam. I clicked yes and started looking at tickets,
Starting point is 01:55:44 so I will attend a live event. That'd be amazing if you did that. Bobby, I would love to see you there. We'll be in New York. Are you doing an event with Sam? Yeah, so I'm just waiting on a thumbnail. Luke's making me a poster. We already booked it. It looks like it's going to be in August. So, and we're probably going to do two shows. what are you going to do just you two just two of us and we're going to talk about her MCU journey and at that point we think she'll probably have even watched Fantastic 4 we hope
Starting point is 01:56:11 by the time we get there's awesome Julius Wyatt Fury Road about to be 10 years old where does the time go that's not that's crazy that is pretty nuts that is pretty nuts joyous Romer Roxy may the force be with you always
Starting point is 01:56:26 always and you with you cool cash CG how do you get press screeners for movies and TV shows is it based against subscribers or views you average. It didn't, well, it's so hard to say because when I started, when we first did that and reaching out to the studio execs, it was not about that. It was just, it was numbers count for sure,
Starting point is 01:56:48 but it was also about, I worked at the studio. I had done things, so I used that as credentials. But now, yeah, it is about numbers and other things that you have. So you just got to reach out to the publicist and then they'll get you to the studio context. And you kind of make a standard email pitch yourself. Like here is the things that I'm known to talk about. Here are the numbers that I've received on my most recent videos.
Starting point is 01:57:11 Here is a similar one to this. Like, and, and you try to pitch yourself based on whatever your best stats are. Yep, exactly. Um, okay.
Starting point is 01:57:21 Next one here is the super reviewer. Also, Lecontin, beautiful Roxy, especially with that hair and fired Disneyland red shirt. Woo! Me and two of my girlfriends got this matching. we wear him around Disney and it's like the greatest thing.
Starting point is 01:57:36 Good one. Zeus Fleming. My favorite show is still Hawkeye. I love the family comic field. We are going to be watching that one, by the way. I thought about not doing it, but I think we are going to do that one for sure. I did that one.
Starting point is 01:57:46 So Paul Hitchcock, what are your pet peeves? Minor communication issues. Roxy knows what I'm talking about. I really don't like, my brother does this thing with his mouth where he makes like this frog noise and it drives. It's like, and I'm like,
Starting point is 01:58:02 And I'm like, stop it. Stop. Do you know what I hate and I don't know why? What? On the radio, the sound of water or anything pouring into a glass. Huh. I don't know why it drives me crazy. It drives me.
Starting point is 01:58:15 That's interesting. What do you do, train the channel? Immediately. Wow. I hate it. Also the word sure. Fucking hate the word sure. Sure.
Starting point is 01:58:25 Bitch box. Bitch boy, bitch box. Have it like, have some integrity in what you're saying. had some passion. Do you want to do this? Yes or no? I don't mind to know. Sure.
Starting point is 01:58:37 My daughter. Lester, just drive me nuts. It's so gently. Bitch boy. Roxy is the cherry on top. She's pretty great. Bobby Jackson.
Starting point is 01:58:47 Apple TV has a deal for $9 for three months. Perfect time to check it out. Look at that. It's like I kind of no excuses at that point. I swear to God my Starbucks is more than that at this point. That's it, Rox. You did it. 87.
Starting point is 01:59:00 going into tomorrow's with Roca and Sean Chandler I feel a little more confident if we hit 90 Well, we'll see if that happens I'll give you something to To promote
Starting point is 01:59:14 While you have an opportunity to see if they throw in three more Give me something to promote Yeah, give you some time to promote So why don't you come up something? I'm in a movie, it will be coming out with Kate Beck and sale I'm excited about that And I took over the Wednesday time slot that we used to do for World Rules. Now I'm doing on live at the Roxy. So make sure you join me
Starting point is 01:59:33 Wednesday nights. Um, and stall, stall, stall, stall, DJ show, Real Reject. I hate people eating, oh, there is it. I hate people eating on camera. Deal with it. Paul Marquez. Sorry, my phone types the wrong way words on YouTube and yes, the amateur. Go Queen Roxy. There you go. There you go. Perfect. I'm obsessed with you. Thanks. I haven't seen the amateur though. That's Christian who's seen it, right? I haven't seen it either. Oh, oh, you wanted to, but you wanted to. I wanted Yeah, Marco, Marco, learn to not break one thought into two chat messages. First super chat ever. Thank you, Mark.
Starting point is 02:00:05 Very delayed gratitude for the hours of entertainment this channel brings. Oh, Marco, Marco, I'm really sorry about earlier calling you out for saying that this was a clickbait title when you didn't say that. Yeah. Very sorry. Bitch boy. I'm just some lips. Thank you, bitch boy. Mike Joyce, what do you order from Starbucks?
Starting point is 02:00:25 That's $9 plus. I don't really order from Starbucks anymore. I'll be on it. I'm not even plugging anymore because I don't. even sponsor on the show. I have a... Were they sponsoring the show? No, trade.
Starting point is 02:00:34 I have so much trade coffee that I don't drink anything except trade. In the morning, I just have it. I had this big ass thing. I grind my own coffee in the morning. It's the best. I was making a joke. I only get tea and I don't get from Starbucks anymore because they put plastic in their tea. That's what I heard.
Starting point is 02:00:48 Yeah. Renee Reyes, what are your thoughts on Sina versus Cody? Will Sina win a 17 championship? I don't think you do this match unless Sina wins a 17. because he's sticking around to the end of the year. You got to have Cody win it back at SummerSlam. Where do you go if Sina loses?
Starting point is 02:01:03 There's nothing to it. Cena's got to win. He's got to win the match. How are you feeling about the Netflix deal? Great. I think it's, yeah. Do you feel like it is giving more people that have conversations with you online? Like I do you five. I think people give it a shot because they see it kind of pop up in their system. Yes, for sure.
Starting point is 02:01:22 Leon, support for Roxy. 94 now. Wow. Last night in Minneapolis. Did you see Burke Kreisher got in the ring after the show with Punk and Chokeslam, dude shirtless? I did see that. I watched it earlier. I got to text him about that. That was hilarious.
Starting point is 02:01:34 I didn't know your friends with him. Do you not know the story of Burke Kreischer? He tells the story. Oh, I've heard this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I told him, when it's his first comedy thing, I told him, I'm the reason why he doesn't drink on stage before he goes on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard Eliza tell a story this week about how she knew it was her husband because she brought him to
Starting point is 02:01:56 show and she doesn't drink till after and he said she was like you can go grab drink and he's like no I'm gonna wait for you to have a drink afterwards and she was like that's how I knew he was a good guy that's cool that's great uh mr nerd fanatic thank you yankees for feeding my Detroit tykers I almost burped but didn't fully come out I would have been so excited you know I have a hard time burping but it got like stuck do you hear it yes listen Yankees are crushing right now that's all I want to hear they're doing good so I don't hear about it um I think that's it Yeah. So I'll give you a chance to promote your stuff. No, you got 95.
Starting point is 02:02:32 No, I'm giving you a chance. I don't need it. But what I do want people to do is go on over to the clips channel and subscribe over there because you can see all these clips from this and more. And Roxy keeps. You did need a chance. Kenya King. Get the A-List Stubbs, three movies for a week. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:02:49 It's honestly, because most of the things, Christian, I do get a lot of screenings. If I didn't have screenings, I would absolutely. get that, but so many of the movies are covered. Same. So that's it. Thank you, Roxy, for being here as always. I will see you very, very soon. You do got to get you and, you know what, once you, once I get you to learn like, just kind of a couple of things with the hosting side of it, like where you can host also, you should host a show where it's just you and Sam. You don't want to be on it with us? I do, but I think you should do one with just you and Sam also. We'll do three of us and then we'll do a two of us so we can talk so much shit. Deal. Kenya King.
Starting point is 02:03:26 can see Superman Fantastic 4 and Jurassic World for freight that's true with that a list thing that is true that's cool all right 90 they're not letting you know now they're not letting you go um mark jasonly rapaposar for the lost rocks very nice get to 100 from bitch boy we did it with 100 super reviewer roxy beautiful best disney merch for you that this one's pretty good yeah this is a good um yeah i have this I also have it in purple with Daisy on it. Starting point is 02:04:00 Roxy, for the 7,000th time, you have gotten to 100. Now it's 101. Leon, thank you. And now they have to try to do that tomorrow. Now, Steph and Winston and Coy, I'll have to catch up now. To Rock.
