Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the show. It's the big thing. And it's me and it's Roxy and it's Brett. We're going to talk about TV. We're going to talk about Dark Matter. We're going to talk about the accolade. We're going to talk about all that stuff with Roxy for sure.
Starting point is 00:00:13 But last week, man, we did a show with Roxy asking us questions about New York and other things. And I was like, maybe no one's going to watch the show. I think it was the highest rated show of last week. One of them anyway. So we're just going to talk. That's kind of what Friday is going to be. think from now on. And it'll probably be a lot of the, when we do our live show together, but it's going to be a lot of us just talking about whatever it might be. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Roxy will ask more questions. She has got a lot of questions. And she's got a lot of topics that she wants you to talk about. So we'll talk to you. But we'll also talk about the upcoming box office, bad boys, the watchers. I've seen both of them. How do I think they're going to do? We'll talk about that. And then we'll also talk about May and why I won with our little bet that we had. You did? Yeah. Oh. So was it, we didn't bet on anything in general.
Starting point is 00:01:05 We just, we did a summer movie preview, and we each said which movie we thought was going to win each month. Brett was terribly wrong. And Roxy, unfortunately, was wrong. And I was right. But we'll talk about why that is. So hit the button, subscribe to the channel, be part of that Apple Podcast, Spotify, anywhere podcasts are found.
Starting point is 00:01:24 If you are curious about the UAP phenomenon and you want to learn more about it, I have a daily news show, which is every day on down to earth with Christian Harlow. I'm actually going to be moving UAP Tuesdays off of this channel and onto that channel permanently, and I'll probably start next week. And this will be a new, and then Tuesday, I'll probably do a live Tuesday show for me next week, and then we'll fill that spot with another big thing episode. So lots of things coming, lots of stuff on the channel. So I'm excited to talk about it with the gang.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Let's do it. What's going on, everybody? Welcome back. to the show. It's me, Christian Arloff, and Roxy and Brett. Roxy was texting.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Come on. I was not texting. Why can I hear you? Do you want to see what I was doing? What can I hear you? She's got to get that thing up on her mouth. It's going to be one of those kind of shows. Last one in person.
Starting point is 00:02:28 For you. I was looking at what's the Watchers. Oh, yeah. You're doing one. I had no idea. It's the, I love her. I love her.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I love her. That's not who I meant that I love. Oh, you know. I mean, Dakota fan. I just saw it. That's set, baby. I know, it's breaking down. So here are the two things I looked up.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Are you having a problem hearing her? Does she sound low? A little bit, maybe. I couldn't be closed to the mic, though. No, it's not your fault because the levels are fine. They can hear you. I can't hear you. I don't know why it is.
Starting point is 00:02:53 You're fine. Go ahead. Okay. I looked up two things during your intro. The first thing was I wanted to see how many people you had on down to earth, which is 25.6K subscribers are just awesome. And the second thing I looked up is what is the watchers. So was I an active listener?
Starting point is 00:03:06 Yes. Yeah, I know, but I don't love when you do that. I wanted you to say that you were moving the UAP Tuesdays to Thursday. To Thursday. Yeah. Here, Thursday, UAP, but still call it. It reminds you there was in college. Skeeter's Saturday Night Special was a karaoke thing at one of the bars,
Starting point is 00:03:27 and he had it every Thursday night. Yeah. No joke. Why not? I'm like, Skeeter. Cheddar. Changed the name. Skeeter don't give a shit.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Hey man, no matter. You call it Saturday. You put it on Monday. People still come. They love that karaoke, man. I'm still singing crazy by Patsy Klein three times. Oh, man, you crazy. I'll do that one, what's that?
Starting point is 00:03:50 D.O. Brown. Now, who's the one? You think I'm crazy? See Lo Green. Thank you. I'm close enough. Close enough.
Starting point is 00:03:58 I appreciate it. Bill Brown. Okay. It's like a mix between a record. What's it, the wrestler? Dilo Brown was a wrestler. Yeah. You just picked a different color for a last name.
Starting point is 00:04:08 And the first name, you just have a whole different letter. Celo Green. Celo Green. And I saw him in concert, which is even worse. I think this studio is really starting. And you're like, go Dilo, Brad. Come on, Dilo. I was wondering why everyone was looking at me so strangely when I was calling that out.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Anyway, so we had people were last week when we talked, we had a great conversation last weekend in the middle of the show, as Roxy does, she's just texting people. And she was texting Mark Ellis to try to get tickets to the show. and she finally got tickets because, but she didn't get tickets to Mark Ellis. No, although I will say I feel bad because I outed him last week.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Yeah. And I said that he answered me and said that he would get me in no matter what. Yeah. And then he told me, then everybody was asking him and he said, he couldn't get them in. And then I publicly said,
Starting point is 00:04:52 well, he could get me. Oh, oh, yeah. Yeah. Well, but he also said what was funny is that he was,
Starting point is 00:04:58 he had called me right as, this was, I didn't tell you, this is actually pretty funny. Smets texted me and he was so apologetic. He's like, I can't be there. I want to be there. He's like, I've got two tickets.
Starting point is 00:05:10 And I immediately thought of you. And I said, okay, well, then I connect you, Roxy. And then Ellis is calling me. He's like, there's tons of people trying to get in. He's like, but Roxy had been asking me. So I got her in. I go, oh, you don't have to worry about Roxy. I got Roxy tickets through Smets.
Starting point is 00:05:25 And he goes, it's great that she told me that. I did. I did tell him. Not until after we spoke. Oh, man. And he was like, whatever. It was funny, though. He did a great job.
Starting point is 00:05:37 He did a great job. He did crush. I said to him, I was like, listen, for some reason, okay, I want your response on this. Is this crazy? Yes. Yes, for sure. But the more favors I ask somebody for, the more comfortable I feel asking that person for favors. Like, I, the person I asked most on the entire planet for favors is Mark Ellis.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I text him every single week asking him for favors that at this point, point, I feel like he's 100% going to come through. And I asked him, I was like, listen, I know I just texted you for another favor, but is it bad that I feel like now you owe me because you always show up for me? So I'm just going to expect it. Yeah, it's not only works out. He's never turned me down, not once for a favor. I've asked for so many things.
Starting point is 00:06:22 He's just a very generous soul. And the thing is what I would say back to you at that is, because I know what your answer will be. I'll see like, well, if he asked you, you would do anything, right? And you'd say yes. Yeah, of course. Because you know he won't ask you for anything. No. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I'm trying to think if he ever asked me for anything ever. He won't. He just doesn't do it. I couldn't have asked him for more things. I don't know what else I could ask him for. I know. Tickets to concerts, getting me into comedy store every single time for all my favorite comedians, wherever we are in any city.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I never am on time to buy this. I know. I'm glad I don't do Heidi and Frankent anymore because of that reason. Because people used to ask you all the time. Well, especially you guys would start, because I was doing, like, Remember, Clare Live, I would do Heidi and Frank and then drive all the way from Heidi and Frank and have to jump right on the air and do Collider Live. And so, yeah, the way that they pay me in concert tickets.
Starting point is 00:07:14 I want to go. I don't do it anywhere. No, I want to be on Heidi and Frank. I don't do it. I'll let them know. But you know why I stopped doing it? Do you know why I stopped doing it? Rod Ramis, he does everything.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Yeah, well, the reason I stopped is because it used to be he and I did it every week, every Thursday morning. And then he moved to Burbank, so he's like, it's too hard for me to get there because it was five minutes away. So he said it was too hard. It was too hard for Ellis in the morning. He was, he had to be from driving all the way from Burbank in the morning. He had to wake up like 6.630 in the morning to get to do hiding and Frank. Where's hiding and Frank?
Starting point is 00:07:51 Where it was was about five minutes from us. Oh, I get what you're saying. And then so. Five minutes away from there. And I was doing it all of the time. And then I would drive to a collider. And then they moved. to Burbank. So when they moved to Burbank, same thing. I said, I can't do that. Especially with, and he, and he lives in Burbank. So he's like, so there you go.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Damn. Damn. I want to do it. To let him know. I'll tell him. I'll let him. I'll let him know. See me on there in a week. Yeah. But we did get the chance to finally do a show together, me, Ellis, martini, which was great. I didn't know who she was. Wasn't that great to learn that story from him on the stage? So cool. I was like stoked about that because I feel like I know everything about the Shmo's. So Martini Paratore is a good friend of mine. I've talked about her before in the past. But she, she is a, she was a producer at current TV. And she's the one who called me.
Starting point is 00:08:43 And she said, I got her started in stand up. She had, she dated my old roommate a long time ago. And I got her started in stand up. And she was doing stand up for a bit. And then she moved to San Francisco. And this was in 2007. She's like, hey, we're doing this like user content thing where they had these cameras, not the flip cams, whatever those things were.
Starting point is 00:09:05 And we're sending these to people and they sent them to like, I don't know, 15 or 20 different people. Maybe more, maybe more. Comedians, sketch comic people, whoever. And they're like, we're going to send them the latest TV pilots that are coming out and we want everybody to just tape yourself afterwards. And she's like, can you get somebody to do it with you? Get one of your comedians, our comedies for our friends to do it with you.
Starting point is 00:09:30 and we'll pay him in pizza. And I said, oh, I thought of the perfect person, but Rick Ingram wasn't available, so I called Ellis. He was so funny. We'll talk about him in a second, but I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:09:40 So I called Ellis, I know. And Ellis and I, and I can't remember somebody else was there. I can't remember who it was. But the two of us were drinking beers on the couch, and we were not on camera together. It was.
Starting point is 00:09:51 One then the other? Yeah, it was like, so I watched, I had a couple jokes, and then he had something, and all the people, they liked us the best. So we were doing, so then current TV had us do movie reviews every week, but it was, we weren't on camera together.
Starting point is 00:10:06 It was, we would send the footage to Martini, she would edit it in. It was the movie itself, then my commentary, Mark's commentary, that was it. And then I was at, like, California Pizza Kitchen with Mark, and I go, we got to start doing these together. And he's like, really? You know, he's used to the stand-up comedy mentality being right yourself. And I go, I'm telling you, I think that we need to be sitting together and to tell her that it'll work better if we're doing it that way and he was hesitant and he'll tell you that um and then did it work better way better yeah way better and he knew it too after the first one and so we did and we sent it to her
Starting point is 00:10:41 and she's like okay when you guys start doing them together so we did for about a year on current tv and and then we had rotten tomatoes wanted to do a pilot with us and they were made our own thing uh and where it was going to be our show and i remember being temping it because i was working in silver pictures when it started then i was temping at because i had quit and then i was temping at Warner at a I was temping at Warner Brothers and I remember being on the on a like what's it AOL instant messenger with with martini and she's like don't worry you're going to be out of there soon this pilot this they want a full show of you guys together in this it's gonna be great and then one day she goes they just gutted the whole idea they're doing this whole thing
Starting point is 00:11:19 and that we were in Alaska and they're like they're doing this whole thing with um and and I love this guy Brett Ehrlich and someone else and he didn't he didn't know but we kind of got screw, they kind of took what we were doing and they made their own pilot out of it. Martini left. And then when we left, it kind of doesn't though. Because because of that, Martini goes, I had said to Ellis, I said, we could, we could quit and not do this anymore or we could, I said, you know, YouTube, YouTube was three years old. So I was like, we could try to do it on YouTube. And he's like, all right, Martini edited the first few. She said, well, what are you guys going to call it? And Martini.
Starting point is 00:11:53 What you end up calling it? Ralph steals the show. Ralph Biscuits? Ralph. Ralph. Ralph, no, no, that was later. Ralph steals the show, put some grilled cheese down there, please. Yeah, yeah. I did go over, we had the chance. Oh, this is the acronym for that. I don't even remember. It was so old.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah, it was Ralph? Yeah, it was Ralph? Yeah, it was like that old, what was that movie with the kid from, from Neverending Story? An acronym, Gives a shit. So anyway, we, we wound up doing, her and I, I was working, I was temping for Peter Roth, who was like the head of Warner Brothers. didn't work a lick for anybody. There was working on Schmo's the whole damn time, but it wasn't called that yet.
Starting point is 00:12:30 And we're bouncing back and forth ideas, her and I, and she's like, what about the average Joe, who knows? We threw out all these names, and I go, what about Schmo's, no? The Schmo's no. Came from you. Her and I, because we bounced back, and then she's like, she goes, yeah,
Starting point is 00:12:47 because I think it was either the Schmo's no show, the Harlof and Ella show is what I wanted to originally call it, and then she wanted to call a little bit more. She was adamant at first about not letting the audience know that we were stand-up comics. Why? Because she wanted it to feel like just regular, two dudes who just were funny every once in a while. Shmose. Was that the right call?
Starting point is 00:13:07 We eventually got rid of that. We started and started to, and then because we wouldn't promote any stand-up comedy, any of that too. And then we just went up doing it. But the point is she was very instrumental in the whole start of Shmose. So it was nice that she was able to go up and, And she was sitting here. We were talking and she's like, I want to go up and do stand-up soon. I go, I'm doing a show.
Starting point is 00:13:28 You should do it. That's why. There were three people who were notably missing for me. Do you know who they were? Ken Napsock. Okay, there's four people that are not really missing for me. From the show itself or from for being there? In the audience.
Starting point is 00:13:43 I guess all of them could have gone up, but from the audience, from there, your goodbye show. Well, Brett. Brett's one of them. Kate's another. Yeah, both had valid excuses. And then who's the last one? Kate. Well, my wife?
Starting point is 00:13:58 No, I knew she wasn't going to be there. Woman or a man? It's a man. Hmm. O'Reilly? No, it wasn't Riley, but that's a good one too. Degina, where was he? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Yeah. I can tell you every other person I can tell you where they were. No idea. From what I heard. I heard he was coming. I heard he was there. I heard he was at the bar. And I forgot, I had just had breakfast with Kaiser the other day.
Starting point is 00:14:22 and I did not ask him and I was going to, he's the one that told me. Let me say, I'm going to text Kaiser right now. Hey, Siri, text Kaiser. Yeah, here's the deal. Hey, come up. I forgot to ask you,
Starting point is 00:14:37 that moron Dagnino, period. Did he ever actually show up to the comedy store, question mark? I would have seen him. Somebody would have seen him. I was so happy that Josh came. I was very surprised that Mukuggy came. I would actually give him a bit.
Starting point is 00:14:52 big old bear hug when I saw him. I was shut me too. He showed up and he said he told me, he said he was there for each, they, they had golfed in the morning, but he said he specifically showed up for just to be there. Yeah. That's what he said to me too. So he said it behind your back too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I was, I was with Sarah Stratton. Yeah. She was there too. Yeah. She was so excited to come, which is so cute. But she says to me, is that, she hasn't seen him. And so long she said, there's a bald guy across the bar that looks like Josh McCook. And I said,
Starting point is 00:15:23 He rocks the bald head well, though. And I, for sure, but that's how long she has seen him. He's been bald for a very long time now. Yeah, but he's like Stone Cold Steve Austin ball. Yeah, he's like, ball bald. Yeah. But I was like, no, because he doesn't live here. And she was like, no, he, I mean, he must be related to him then.
Starting point is 00:15:37 And so I look over and I'm like, shut the fuck up. Like, I would never expect to see him. Yeah, he was there. There were some, I mean, there are a lot of great people in the audience. I think, oh, Greg and his wife Olivia came. Derina and Frank. Drina and Frank showed up. That was awesome.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Steph was there, obviously. No Mike and Shannon. I don't know what happened to them either. Oh, what happened to Mike and Shannon? No idea. They told me they were coming. Didn't hear anything. No Sam and Rachel?
Starting point is 00:16:01 Sam, they texted me and told me they couldn't make it. So Clark Wolf texted me. He said she couldn't make it. But there were people who... She's back and forth, I think. Yeah, okay. But there were people that I sent the email to, there were some people who I heard back from it.
Starting point is 00:16:15 But some people who... Where was Kate? Long story. Okay. But good... Good reason. Good reason why she couldn't make it. Yeah, I guess there's more people.
Starting point is 00:16:23 So what happened with Mark? Riley. He's got a, he's got a barely a one-year-old. I knew that. I knew that was a long shot. So him, I never, never expected him to come. Because he's the one person now that I,
Starting point is 00:16:37 well, no, Brett, too, but that I can, that I understand, like, they understand why I can't always be there. And because a lot of times, people would make a joke out if I showed up to an event, they're like, oh my God, you're out. I'm like, it ain't easy to get out. I understand that.
Starting point is 00:16:51 However, and Brett, I know you weren't there because you were out of town, but like somebody's goodbye party, that's hours long. I think you should stop. Well, not for Riley. He's got, I'm telling you, he's in the shits right now. And I see him every, and I see him every week. Yeah. And I see him every.
Starting point is 00:17:08 I'm not saying for other people, other people. I know people have lives and they can't. Hopefully they stay by to you at a different moment. Yeah. I mean, like so, but I have gotten people. Being there felt like a big deal. It was fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:18 The show was a big. deal when I was there, you know, when you're in a place in L.A. And you're like, this is the it thing of tonight of all of L.A. That's what it kind of felt like. Yeah. Well, Mark And Draco actually texted me. Oh, yeah, Draco. Yeah, but he, where was Jeff?
Starting point is 00:17:32 Jeff, I saw at a screening two days ago. And he came up to me. He said, I had this thing that came up and I was going to be there. I'm sorry, I couldn't. And then he's a show up guy. I'm shocked he wasn't there. Yeah, and he was texting me about it and everything. He said, I heard it was great.
Starting point is 00:17:44 And it was a great show. I mean, we had, um, the whole line. out three times the amount of space. Oh, easily. We could have done. I think it was because we were aiming for a Friday and we wanted the store that it was limited to where we could get. So we got the belly room and seated about 80, no hundred or whatever it was. And it was full. Yeah, Lonne Harris was there. I thought was really nice. And Lonch showed up. Yeah, Lonn showed up. There's tons of you. Ethan Irwin was there. Ethan Irwin showed up.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Andrew Guy. Yeah. A lot of my buddies from. Dennis. He's the most solid. Yeah, he's the most solid human beings of all time. I love. love Dennis then. I really love that dude. He's just such a really good stand-up dude. I love Dennis. Then there were tons of people and I'm probably forgetting people also but they were John Humphrey was Alex Marzonia. Alex Marzonia showed up. That's right. He showed up. That was awesome. That was awesome. Video Drew and Nerd Chronic were there. David B. was there. Frank Janish. Sean Sullivan, Gillian. There were a ton of people there. It was awesome. Yeah, that was cool. Mad people showed up for you.
Starting point is 00:18:45 And I'm so glad, though, that they got to put, like, we put on the show that we put on, because the show was awesome. The show was stellar. Okay, so I listened to your story, so I've heard the name Rick and Grum before, but I don't know who he is. Right. It's my favorite comedian of all time. You understand why now? I was crying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:59 I was crying. I was saying next to, oh, Janine was there, and I was sitting next to Janine. When I say of all time, minus, like, the George Carlin's. Yeah, yeah, I get what you're saying. I. And me. And you. So his whole, can I say, like, kind of what his major bit was?
Starting point is 00:19:13 Yeah. But it's not, yeah, because it's never going to be the same. Yeah. It was essentially like, let's pick out who the serial killer in the audience is. Like who's going to be the killer? Yeah. And this poor guy. The musician.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Oh, my God. The metal guy. Yeah. He made this guy sing metal. Have you heard anything about this yet? No. He picked out this kid who was wearing a vest, bless him, who looked like he was absolutely ready to murder every single one of us.
Starting point is 00:19:43 And he, and Rick somehow got him to, he was like, oh, you're a metal singer. Okay, let's hear your best note. And this guy, like, he was on stage ready for, to get the biggest performance. He was like, oh, my God, it was crazy. He was crazy. But then the next two people, it felt like plants, Christian. I'm going to, I don't know if he's going to pick up, but I'm going to try to call Rick. They all felt like plants in the audience, because musician, musician, all three.
Starting point is 00:20:10 I'm trying to call him right now. if he's available. I mean, he might be, but he might have also been with his kids. And it was so funny. It's the best. The other two guys were really good sports about it, but the first one, I think, was really bad. Your call has been forwarded.
Starting point is 00:20:22 I got forwarded. Bastard. Some friend. I know. Yo, period. We were talking about your set from my show the other night and was hoping to get you on the air to talk about it. Come. Shut up, you idiot.
Starting point is 00:20:37 But, you know, you goof about it, and I've said this to you many times over. If you had the confidence of a Rick Ingram, we'd be doing this show from your mansion right now. Oh, yeah, yeah. Because you are, you are probably, you are probably the funniest human I know in the world. I told my wife I was so bummed to miss it. And she goes, no, you're not. I go, what do you mean? She goes, you'd be, you'd have a stomach ache over it.
Starting point is 00:21:02 You'd be stressing about it for weeks and stuff like that. Because if you went, would you have gone on stage, Brett? No, I was supposed to be. Yeah, it was supposed to. The original lineup was. Yeah, we were Sturger. Sturger? I didn't have the room this round.
Starting point is 00:21:16 She just didn't come? She texted me and told me she couldn't come. But yeah, she did tell me she couldn't come, but she was planning on it. But it was, because Marino I asked later on it. Kate was my, it was Kate and Brett were my two first choices, obviously. To be in the show. In the show. And then Eliza was always going to be part of it.
Starting point is 00:21:35 I have to talk about her. Please, go ahead. Can I now? Go ahead. Go ahead. Go talk about Eliza. So I'm like a die-hard Eliza fan. Yeah, and you knew, and you kind of, you knew that she was going to be on the show before it was official.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Yes, I, like, flipped my shit. Honestly, I wouldn't have texted Mark for the favor if I didn't know she was going to be there. Because I've seen you guys. No, that's not true. I still would have, but I love her. But I have seen her in a huge room, and I've seen her on TV. This was, it was like seeing somebody in a living room. Right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Like, it was so cool. She came super casual, which. I love, like she was talking to her friends. And it was very much like there was a lot. I would say the audience was probably 90% men. I think there was less than you guys thought because I remember she had said that. And then I looked around. She pointed out and I looked around.
Starting point is 00:22:26 I was like, oh my God. Not in the second half. The second half there was actually a lot of, like I think because of a lot of martini's friends were there. Like half of the room? Yeah, the second half there was like, when she said that, I was like, are there a lot of dudes here? And I looked and I think it was heavy in the front. Maybe. When I was looking, I was like, yeah, yeah, it's all dudes.
Starting point is 00:22:41 But regardless, I think it doesn't matter who she's playing to. She, like, clocks the audience and she crushes. Yeah, yeah. And so, what was so great about... She was so good. What was so great about that was, because you were going to remember that Eliza, I knew Eliza before she was even getting up on stage, really. She had just got, she was doing open mics when she came in.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Like, it was, and it was, Martini was my friend who I feel like introduced me to her. I don't remember that particularly, but I remember meeting her at the improv. And then her just and I going up all of the time. I mean, I remember as friends, I took her to the, the reaping premiere together. We went to see that when I was working at Silver. It was a movie with Hillary Swank. But we were, we were like buddies.
Starting point is 00:23:24 And she was my, she was the lead of my, um, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. We did a pilot. Yeah, it was myself and her. And she was, we, and we, so when I saw her, um, she know, again, gave her big bear hug. when we saw each other and we both
Starting point is 00:23:40 at the same time went, come here, because we wanted to go talk to each other, and she came to my wedding. And we were at, we were sitting in the green room. I wasn't invited to your wedding. I didn't know you yet, rocks. Yeah, that's true. So we were talking about everything. And we just kind of like were reminiscing for like 15, 20 minutes.
Starting point is 00:23:58 And it was really cool before. That is cool. And then before she started doing her stand-up, she talked about that a little bit. Oh, did she? Okay. Did you miss the very beginning? That's right.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Yeah. She was like, I'll do stand-up in a minute. but before I do that. Yeah, right, right, right. We talked about, she talks about white pretty comedy is what it was. There was a, there was a band that was called that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So who's this now?
Starting point is 00:24:15 Let's see. Oh, Ingram. So anyway, it was really great to catch up with her and then to watch her. It was a wonderful night. It was, you had a good time, right? It was, I had so much fun. I was happy to have you there. Oh.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Yeah. But you would, you think you would have been nervous before you got up. But then you would have had. But then you would have had. In a good room for you. Please let me be an opener for. Eliza. You would have wanted to be?
Starting point is 00:24:40 Oh, yeah. Oh, okay. Just stadiums and, no, I don't know. What are you talking about? Winston. You know that I, Oh, and Winston. Yeah, Winston.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Yeah, of course. Winston did great. Winston was always going to be on the bill also. Because I wanted to take that big thing show that we were doing. Oh, who is that guy that I didn't know. He was really funny. I think it was, I think it was comedy. Those are comedy store guys.
Starting point is 00:25:01 I thought he was really funny too. I didn't know any of those guys. Like that was so they, when we got there, and this has been going on at the store for years and rightfully so. When they have belly room shows or main room shows outside of what the club books, they'll say, hey, can we put some of the regulars up and, or not regulars, but employees and stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:20 And that's where they get their time. I thought you did a great job. It was actually, at first it was funny, like, and I'm telling you for like a split second only because of like the territorial thing in me, for a split second. And then I started, and then I felt really good about it
Starting point is 00:25:35 because I was like, you're helping that. But that's, that's, that's how it works. Yeah. Yeah. When you're, that's, that's what I did. When I was, when I was there, you got the, you got the rooms. You took the time and you, and you did your room.
Starting point is 00:25:48 And they were all really awesome. And the, and the people were, I always get weird when I go there because I haven't been, haven't been there in so long. And I hate doing that thing. We're like, because these are new kids that are working at the door. So they're rightfully so going to go, hey, what are you here for? And then I got to do the, I'm a paid regular. And, and, and I thought they were like, oh, yeah, where's, where's your name?
Starting point is 00:26:07 And like within seconds, they're like, oh, hey, man, so nice to meet you. And it's just like the respect that was there because of the club. And it's not, not to do with me, but it's because of the way that it's always been. And I remember that's how it was when I was there. Someone come in paid regular from like the 80s, whatever was to, which I was really made me feel old. Where like in the same time span of when I was there, it was like guys coming in from the 80s. Oh, yeah. You know, and then I was like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:26:30 I was like, I'm like a fucking 80s comedian now. And I tried that a couple times. I'm like, I'm right there. They're George Carlin. No, the one next to it. Here Liza Schlesinger? No, the one below the... What's funny about that is you could actually probably...
Starting point is 00:26:45 Just probably somebody that's somebody that's going to the store anymore. I'm Christian Harlaw. Yeah, I'm that guy. I'm that guy. Anyway, so it was a really fun show. I thought everybody had great sets. I didn't go to the bathroom the whole time. I had to be so bad. I did, and I talked about it on stage.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Yeah, you started with it. I shoulder blocked. Dude, I walked into this bathroom. I had been in this... I used to go in this bathroom all the time. and I was just getting ready. And I remember, I had it just recorded martini set, right? So I walk into the bathroom and I go, all right, there's no one in there.
Starting point is 00:27:16 So I go, oh, I'm going to go to this stall over here. It looks like nobody's there. However, it isn't a stall. It's just the mirror. So I shoulder block the mirror. And I go right into it. And I go, nobody saw that? That's cool.
Starting point is 00:27:25 So I start pissing. And then I realize that my phone is on. So I'm going to turn it off. And I'm like, I'm like, oh, pretty sure I just recorded my dick on a martini set, right? And I'm going, great. So then I go to lift it up and I bang my head on this show. It was total griswold shit. And I'm going, I have to tell everybody about this.
Starting point is 00:27:45 And it's the first thing I told about, which went over, which went over? Yeah, it did. Yeah, you crushed. It was fun. I mean, it's your room. So I would have figured, but you did great. I was so thirsty. I was.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Oh, yeah. I was going to try to get you water because you go to sit the water and you say there's nothing in here. It was nothing. I threw the bottle on the floor. But nobody did. Man, I was so parched. that it was starting to affect the set, but I didn't make it look like it.
Starting point is 00:28:09 But anyway, so it was, it was a good night. We had a good time. I got a shout out. Yes, you did. You liked your shout out? Yeah, everyone talked to me about it afterwards. Everyone, if you're offended? They were, we're just like, wow, he really came for you.
Starting point is 00:28:23 I was like, if you think that's coming from me. You watch this show. It was, it really, it felt like we were just doing the show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, I was so colorful. I said, I said, I said, it was something that, Roxy wouldn't, I knew Roxy wouldn't get offended but it was so simple and I go
Starting point is 00:28:38 I go dating in L.A. is terrible. I go, right rocks? And people are like, oh, and I go, come on, have you heard about the animals that she dated? And when I said that, I was like, I hope that they mean about the people that she's been dating recently and not people that I know that she's been in the back. I kind of hope they thought it was about people
Starting point is 00:28:57 which can we talk about the dress, how good you looked at night? I really tried. I know. Can we talk about that or not really? I thought I looked sick. I mean, no. Okay, we laughed. We don't have to. I, you never know, like, whatever. This is an honest moment, but I haven't seen my ex or spoken my ex in years now. And I figured he was going to be at your show. I had no confirmation that he would or wouldn't. But you just always want to look your best, so you feel good. So I tried to look my best, but he wasn't there. So I was happy about that, honestly.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Every single person. Oh yeah, that was the other thing that we did. So Roxy was outside of the bar, and I kept wanting to speak to her. But I was talking to everybody because I had to. I felt bad if people were coming and see the damn show. And I couldn't or even not, or just come to see me and I couldn't talk to everybody. Oh, because Ash Croson and Jermaine Lucier were there also. And I talked to them.
Starting point is 00:29:51 So I wanted to talk to Rocks. And every time I talked to her, I got pulled away. And she was standing by the front door and I go, don't leave. And she's like, I'm not leaving. He said, don't leave. Don't move. And I said, but I meant, don't leave that spot so I can come find you. And she did.
Starting point is 00:30:08 So we wound up taking a picture by my picture of the comedy store. You can find it. But I posted that picture because she had posted them also. And every person from the comment section, that's, Roxy looks amazing. Oh my God, Roxie looks so good. Let's go. You look good. You look good.
Starting point is 00:30:27 I tried to be simple, you know, just white taintop and juice. Easy. Then I had the, yeah, brown jack-on. I prefer that type of look. Yeah. Because it's like, it's like, you know, made up, but casually made up. Yeah. It's not like you don't look like you're going to try and put on a concert or something.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Yeah. It's like I won't let you. Everybody knows. I won't lie. I think that especially, and not even just for X's or whatever, seeing a lot of people I haven't seen a long time. And you got a stun on them. Hey, listen.
Starting point is 00:30:53 So that's a good transition. I felt like I had to do the same. Hell yeah. I wasn't wearing a baseball cap and I wasn't wearing a baggy jeans. You look good. Thank you. So do you know why that was? You thought about it?
Starting point is 00:31:06 I did think about it. But it was because of two reasons. One, right before I left, I used a bidet on my ass. Hey! But for real, I actually used, I was wearing Mac Weldon the whole time. So I'm going to tell you about Tushy first, and then we'll get into Mac Weldon. Here you go. Starting point is 00:33:52 They gave me that polo. I mean, those pants that I really, I really like those pants. I think it's really great for the casual, professional who doesn't want to be just, you know, really like ragged jeans and t-shirt, but still kind of casual and comfortable.
Starting point is 00:34:10 It's good for the casual professional. It's not fancy and it's not overdressed, but it's still you look like, you don't want to look like you rolled out of bed. Yeah, well, there you go. All right. Thank you, honey. Bye. She had no idea I was going to do that.

Everybody's got the bidet. Brett's got the bidet. Roxy doesn't get it yet, but she's got to. But as you heard, well, my wife,
Starting point is 00:34:58 My wife loves Mac Walden. Yeah. That shirt, before I left, I put on a dress shirt. And my wife's like, you're not comfortable. And actually, it looks good, but you're not comfortable in that. She's like, why don't you wear on your Mac Weldon shirt? I'm so glad she's at that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:13 You want to be you, fully you. And you've been really working on, I don't know how to say this better about your figure. Well, this is, well, here's the picture that. That's the picture that's really good. RB3 took that, actually. Oh, it's so good. You haven't posted that. I did.
Starting point is 00:35:26 I made it my profile picture on my Twitter. Oh, I love that. But yeah, and that's the Mack Weldon shirt. And I loved it. I love that shirt. I got to get some of these. Dude, I told my wife the other day and I go. And I told my wife the other day and I said every gift that anybody gets me, Mac Weldon.
Starting point is 00:35:44 T-shirts, pants, shorts, boxers, whatever it is. I'm obsessed. So I hope that people. I just like the picture. I want you to get Mac Weldon. I want you to get it because I'm going to tell you right now, I'm being completely honest with you. I'm selfish. And I want them to come back and be part of this show forever.
Starting point is 00:36:01 So the more you guys get Mac Weldon, first of all, you'll love it. But second, then they come back and they'll be with us. I'm trying to get them back for like in the next two years. Yeah. So please get them. Get them. My perfect day has sand, salt, water, and friends. But my moderate to severe plaques psoriasis can take me out of the moment.

Starting point is 00:37:15 So now the other part of it, we talked about, like last week, we titled the show, why am I leaving in New York? You know what every comment was? You're going to New York? No. We still haven't learned why he's going to New York. I don't know if we ever really talked about it. And I'll give you the, because.
Starting point is 00:37:34 That's fair. That's fair. Yeah, because I did get this. What I keep getting is it's not any cheaper than L.A. You were there. Yeah. How much cheaper where we were, was it than L.A.? It was considerably about a half, half of everything.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Yeah, of everything. And again, not Manhattan. That's a different. Yeah, you're not moving to an apartment in the city. Yeah, yeah. Manhattan is, is worse than L.A. Way worse. Way worse.
Starting point is 00:37:59 We went to the city. There are other parts of New York. We went to the city. We met my buddy John Pinto, who people want to see on the show. Pinto would be funny on the show. Oh, yeah. We went to some... He's going to replace us.
Starting point is 00:38:12 No, but now, now I have an open Tuesday spot that I can do an in studio show and still do all my shows. You want to come in? You want to fly in every once in a while? Sure. No, no. I just want to do two shows. Oh, well, I have thoughts on the UAP stuff. Yep.
Starting point is 00:38:29 No. Oh. UAP. Yeah. That's U. Yep. Yup. I hate that. I know you do. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Do you hate that more than I hate big balls? I don't know because it's not a chipmunk trying to put balls on my head. That's true. Like yop isn't happening to you. Yeah. Poor Joseph Ashley, who is like the biggest big balls fan you're going to get. He's the one to do the animation that you hate. Yeah, I hated that.
Starting point is 00:38:54 But he actually drew and he drew. I hated that. Like why would I want someone to draw balls on my face? I don't know. Right. And you send it to me like, look at this. It's big balls. Everybody's doing it.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I can't possibly express enough how much I hate that. Well, he actually sent me over the weekend, like all these different angles. And so I want to tell Joseph and everybody else, everybody's been like, where is big balls? All the angles of the balls on my eyes? No, no, no. It's different angles of big balls. I can actually place him now because every time he would show up, he would show up, like, just standing that way. But now he's got him, like, facing you.
Starting point is 00:39:29 And he can move around. Oh, goody. But the problem, the reason, yeah, well, the reason, and I have shown me, because we've talked about how there's, there's definitely a sect of people who hate big balls. There's a lot of people who love them. Yeah, by you. But there's a lot of people who love them, and I've been getting so many, where's he been? How come I haven't seen him?
Starting point is 00:39:46 The roadcaster, I can't do them. Oh, yeah. Can you do on YouTube a poll who likes, who hates, I want to know what the percentages are? If I was going to guess, if I said, do you hate big balls or do you love them? Yeah. Or indifferent? I bet you indifferent would win. I bet you a lot of people don't even know who he is.
Starting point is 00:40:03 But I bet you that the hate would probably... I think love would win. You think love would win? Yeah. I wonder. I don't know. He's not here. He can't defend himself, so I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:12 But I had something else that I was going to talk about. I still have bigger balls than big balls. You think so? That dude's pounding, though. It's stints. Very happy for you. Oh, no, it's not like it's my one badge of honor that really is an impressive because having big balls.
Starting point is 00:40:31 You know that's always been the... I know, I don't know if I know it, but... You guys saw about the guy with plastic in his balls? How did he get those? Well, the article said like, all men have microplastic... A red bread is talking about his big balls. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:46 No, I saw it. I know, I know. I don't need to know about any of this. You have plastic in your balls. Yes, that's... Microplastics. You did. I put it there.
Starting point is 00:40:54 How scary is that? Oh. But then that means... I will say I'm glad no ex-girlfriend showed up to the show. Did you think they would? I didn't know. I posted it all over to the place.
Starting point is 00:41:04 But like people that you don't speak to. That's the thing. I speak to all of them. Was everybody talking about it, Rox? Was everybody talking about it? Everyone was talking about it. Everybody was talking about it. Everybody was talking about it.
Starting point is 00:41:16 Yeah. You did look really good. It's only because I lost 20 pounds. And I still, I wasn't as tired on stage. I'll say that. Because normally when I was, I looked at myself too. We did a flapper show. What kind of friend of you to let me go on stage like that?
Starting point is 00:41:27 I didn't look too great myself. I was a slob. Was I there? Oh, no, you were hosting. Yeah, how did you not tell me that I had a big old Al Bundy Bella? I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know. I looked at it.
Starting point is 00:41:40 I do not know what you're talking about. Yeah, you're always undressing us with your eyes, Rocks. Why don't you tell us that we're fat pieces of shit? That is so true about me. I know. Well, what were you talking about? I had something else that was talking about. Then then you changed the subject.
Starting point is 00:41:52 The show, the people afterwards. Yeah, we changed. Yeah, but we talked about that, but then we, but then we, but then we. Oh, why do you go to New York? Oh. Oh, oh. Well, I don't think we should tell them. We shouldn't tell them anymore.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Well, we talked about the cheaper. We talked about that. We talked about what it was. And that's a big reason, obviously. The other reason is it's just family reasons, you know, and so being closer to family. My kids, and I will say, someone we all know at a screening recently walked to me and said, like, hey, why New York?
Starting point is 00:42:21 And I said, because I'm just kind of over L.A., to be honest with you, kind of over it. Um, like they said, what do you miss? I said my friends, the people that I do the shows with. Um, and I said, a lot of people asked me a comedy store and I said, I don't know if I'll miss the people, but I'll miss my people. And then, you know, it was like, just being back there, like, granted, sleeping on freaking air mattresses and working all week was exhausting. But there was something cool about that, that just like, you know, that area being there,
Starting point is 00:42:52 like, like the, like, where we were, like the, like the, like, where we were, like the food. I mean, come on. The food was awesome. So there's like... The one time we got pizza, Sadie, there was only one time. Only one time. That was the other thing I was going to talk about on stage shows. Like, people like, I'm...
Starting point is 00:43:08 You're lucky... What I wanted to tell my wife is she was in the audience. I'm like, you're lucky you have a husband like me. People, there are husbands who are sneaking porn, sneaking whatever, you know, drugs, and I was like, hey, what did you do last week? I had a barata slice. Don't tell the wife.
Starting point is 00:43:26 I'll tell you, Rock, I used to think that it was because of weight gain. But it is not the reason why she does not want him to have pizza. It's the farts? Yes. It's like saving private Ryan. I mean, it's like as soon as it hits his lips and then the rest of the day is just br-bramp bram.
Starting point is 00:43:49 I don't know why you're talking like you're like the innocent angel. Listen, I was guys, this guy's working on things in a side. in the bathtub. I know. He's working on things in the kitchen. He was like, was that the drill? He's like,
Starting point is 00:43:59 yeah, sure it was. Anyway. It was, it was a dorm. I'm so happy with this conversation. And you didn't come. You didn't come show up and you were so close. Wait,
Starting point is 00:44:09 there's something you were just saying that I was actually interested in Christian. New York? What do you think the percentage chance and don't say zero? Yeah. I don't think it's zero. What do you think the percentage chances that you'll ever move back here? Ever? Ever.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Five percent? Okay. You know? Yeah. I was going to say it's like you never say never because like who knows if there's what if there's like my kids go to college to do all the sudden. I'm presented with some major opportunity, but you have to be in L.A. but it's worth it. And I'll tell you.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Or they go to college here. Right. But it's also one of these things where I'm like, you know, you've got to pay for the move because I'm never doing that again. This is this move is going to bankrupt me. Yeah. It's, it is. I mean, it's expensive to move apartments across the street. Right.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Across the country. It's brutal. It's really hard to move cross country. It is. You know, you posted about your final show and that you were leaving. And my manager, who you've met, called me. And he said, and I said, hey, what's going on? He said, hey, I just want to check on you.
Starting point is 00:45:19 And I said, why? What's going on? He said, I saw Christians leaving. And I was like, yeah. And he's like, you okay? I was like, that is so, he's like, I know that's a good buddy. years. And I was like, yeah, it's just so weird. I said, of course, it's the two parts. It's number one. I see you every week for work for 10 years. Right. And number two, you're my friend and you're leaving.
Starting point is 00:45:37 And like, I haven't wrapped my head around the second part yet. Well, I mean, you, you were slowly, I think you way more now. Like, you were, you were trying to like will it not to happen for a couple months. I know. Yeah. I know. But I kept, but I kept telling you. But I pushed it. Yeah, I know. Yeah, like, you were going to be gone a few months ago. Yeah, I was almost gone in April. And so I needed a time. Yeah. You got. You got. You. You got. You. You got. You. I need a I'm glad you did because April would have been rough. Christian's been using this weird tactic with me to not miss that he's leaving by just working my ass to the bone and then making me want him to leave immediately.
Starting point is 00:46:10 He's not lying at all of that. Bro, I'm sorry, could you just come over one more time this week? I'm in a time crunch, though, and you're going out of the country. I know. It's not like you're going. Germany? Budapest. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:25 I don't know. He told you he's going to Budapest. Yeah, but he's going to boot a pest. Oh. Yeah. But he's going, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's going to Budapest. And I'm like, and I have all this stuff that is still like almost, like, as soon as we're done with this show, he's going to finish the rest of it.
Starting point is 00:46:38 And then I told him because he's coming back to finish the studio in New York. And I was like, and we were both right when we said this. I go, listen, you're just going to have this one thing left to do. You come in here and then you're going to have me, all this shit's going to be done. And to which he goes, yeah, right, my phone's going to be blown off the door. I don't work. How do I work this thing? How do I get that?
Starting point is 00:46:59 But we also talked about that Brett. Oh, man. Brett will most likely be, I mean, like, I'm probably going to fly him in to do shows and come in for, you know, because he's going to, we're doing Matt Sarah's thing also. So he'll probably, well, Brett will be on. And Matt's my best friend. Matt loves Brett. Matt loves Brett. Why isn't Matt want me to fly in?
Starting point is 00:47:18 Well, because can you, can you help him? Why are you flying Brian, but you're not flying him? Can you help construct his set? I got it. Can you help? the VR? Yeah. You can?
Starting point is 00:47:27 Really good at it. I don't think that's true. I think that's a big fat lie. Is that a big fat lie? Okay. All right. Let's move on to some stuff that we should talk about. What VR are you doing that?
Starting point is 00:47:36 Stop this. Okay. All right. So this weekend's box office. Well, let's talk about that because I saw bad boys for life. And it's coming out. And the other one that's coming out is, as we mentioned, was the watchers. I think this is a.
Starting point is 00:47:55 guaranteed win for bad boys. I think it is... Another screening. I wasn't invited to. You didn't get to... No? I thought you're good with Sony. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:06 It didn't work out for... I don't know. I didn't even know. Oh. Well, it got a... It is a fun movie. Some of the jokes really miss, in my opinion. Better than the third one or no?
Starting point is 00:48:18 No, third one's better. I'm glad that the same directors are doing it over Michael Bay. it to me it goes one, three, four, two. There's some good moments. There's some, yeah. Whoa. Is that supposed to be bad boys?
Starting point is 00:48:35 Oh, oh, I thought I was going to do the bad boys. Bad boy. That would have been bad. Is that? Yeah. I'm brutal. So bad boys is coming out. And the other thing I wanted to talk about
Starting point is 00:48:48 real quick before we try to blast through the TV picks here is that we did a summer movie preview. Roxy chose Furiosa to be the winner of the month. I heard Furious is bombing. It's bombing bad. Yeah, bummer.
Starting point is 00:49:02 You didn't know that either, right? Yeah, it's bombing bad. We both liked it a lot. It just, I understand why it didn't do well. I understand why it didn't do well. We talked about this. I don't think Anya Taylor Joy is a, it's not a star. She's a phenomenal actress.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Not a movie star. People don't, my daughter had no clue who she was. People don't know who she is. She's not a household name. Plus, it's a character. that Charlie Staron made famous, and she was even the secondary character in that. There's no Mad Max in it. And it's a very long movie, and it was too expensive.
Starting point is 00:49:32 So I understand why I didn't do well. Apes won the month. You said if, I think, I think, is going to wind up doing better than Furios. That's wild. I haven't seen any of them. I haven't seen any movies. Yeah, where are you been on, screens and stuff? What's going on?
Starting point is 00:49:47 I don't know. You were going to be my hookup for when he left. I know. I can't hook myself up. This is ridiculous. It's pretty bad. You don't go to the screenings with me anyway. Well, because it's you.
Starting point is 00:49:58 If it's Roxy, I'll know. Oh, fair. Except for we can't, God damn. Our setup is just in my way. I can't sit with Roxy because I went to one with her and she needs to be up close and I need to be back. She did compromise for me and sit a little further back. I can't see. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:50:20 I hate how close you say. I can't see. I hate it. Do you wear glasses at all? You need to? Maybe. I feel like I've seen in like vanity ones. I never done it before.
Starting point is 00:50:31 I never got my eyes checked since I was like in fifth grade. Probably something you should do. I know it's expensive. I have no money. Can I ask you a question? Because you said that. And if you want me to cut this out. Am I doing expensive shit?
Starting point is 00:50:46 If you want me to cut this out, I will. But I have to ask you a question. Have you ever considered bartending? No, I think it's a completely fair. I used to bartend. And I've been thinking about it, but the problem is the night times is when I have to be with my grandparents most of the time. What about restaurants? Yeah, I'm looking into it.
Starting point is 00:51:01 But when do you see me not working? I know, but why not find the shifts of saying, like, look, I can't, I can only work these days, these days, these days. I know, but think about it. You try to get me to come in. I'm working like 85 hours. I would have to take off other jobs. I would make more money bartending, though. You would make way more money.
Starting point is 00:51:17 I made more money bartending when I was young than I've ever made in the entertainment industry ever. Do you have to be your grandparents at the weekend? I'm with them seven days week. It's tough. Yep. With them seven days a week. All right, well, look, we can't get into anything else except the TV, so we're going to go through it quick.
Starting point is 00:51:32 Roxy, give us our TV picks. Here we go. Okay, so you got me on the Dark Matter train. I'm three episodes in. If you didn't recommend it to me, I would have recommended it to you. It's just the most Christian Harlov show I've ever seen in my life. Like the whole premise of it, I'd be like, it's like you wrote the show, Christian. It is so good.
Starting point is 00:51:49 It's so good. The performances are stellar. I'm curious every single time. And there's like these little reveals throughout that peak your interest. I love it. But just in general, the premise is an interesting enough premise that I could watch this over and over and over and over again. And so I'm really into this. And I'm going to, I started yesterday and three episodes. I'm all caught up.
Starting point is 00:52:10 And I think the new one airs tonight. Well, no, all airs. By next week, you and I will both be fully caught. Yes. And so next week, by the way, will only be me and Roxy as where Brett won't be here. No, yeah, yeah, you won't be here next week. He's going to be at the town. I'm going to be in Budapest already? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:23 They roam the streets. So I don't know anything. I don't talk to anybody who's a big Star Wars fan anymore, like all the time about things like this. Are the only people I know are you in Steph, but I didn't speak to you guys about this. I watched Ackleite, and I think it's just like the cutest, most fun I'm obsessed with. It might be my favorite Star Wars show. Wow.
Starting point is 00:52:42 I love it. It's so cute. It's like I love the premise. I think it's, I don't have to know anything. I literally don't have to know anything, which I love as a casual Star Wars show. Yeah, you don't have to know. know anything. No,
Starting point is 00:52:54 it's a time period about 100 years beforehand. Yeah, so it's like, they're not constantly referencing thing that I'm like,
Starting point is 00:52:58 oh, did I get that? Did I not get that? Who are they talking about? What are they doing? I love lightsavers. I love Jedi stuff. This has both of those things. I really like a Mandla
Starting point is 00:53:08 and I like the chemistry between a mandala's character and squid games character, whatever. His name is Saul in the show, Master Soul. What is May and what?
Starting point is 00:53:22 Soul. No, no, May and. Oh, well, again, I want to. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever. Whatever. Yeah, I just, I think this is really good, but then I walked in today and I was like,
Starting point is 00:53:32 is everybody loving Ackleit? And you were like, no, not everybody's loving Akelet. Yeah, yeah. I'm, I think it's, it's average at best, maybe, maybe even subpar. But, um, okay, let's go. Next one. Have you guys seen Eric pop up on Netflix? I have seen it pop up.
Starting point is 00:53:46 I haven't watched it. This is, uh, Ben and a Cumberbatch. Yeah, this is really good. Is it? Yeah. It's about it? It's so the first episode In the first episode
Starting point is 00:53:56 It's revealed him and his wife's kid A little boy is missing Okay Oh yeah so the trailer He got me out He goes to walk himself to school He's nine years old He goes to walk himself to school for the first time
Starting point is 00:54:08 Blaming him right And then he disappears And Eric The dad He creates He's almost like creates like a Sesame Street type show And the little boy before he left, created this character that he wanted on the show.
Starting point is 00:54:24 And now it's like the dad's goal to get the character on the show because he thinks if he gets the character on the show, then his little boy will come home. So it's really pulls at your heartstrings, but it's also like, who's crazy, who did this, like who done it mystery, murder, kidnap, we don't know. Okay. And I haven't finished yet.
Starting point is 00:54:41 I'm halfway through. Okay. Very well done so far. Have I been telling you guys about Milton? Every week. Okay. This is my favorite show on TV. Wow.
Starting point is 00:54:50 I can't stop talking about it. Like, okay. Yeah, they're banging there. He's just sons or that was last time. It's the sons and the dads are on this season. Man, okay, but like some of the dads, I feel like they've never gone to therapy and this is their therapy. This is the first time they ever. Do they show like fucking on this show?
Starting point is 00:55:09 There's a room for it. Oh, okay. It's called the, fuckroom? No, they're called Milf and it's called the room I like to fucking Rilf. Oh, okay. Rilf. You go to the Rilf. Okay, but Dill.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Oh, nice. All right. All right. Sorry, go ahead. So anyway, the dads, like, are turning to themselves and they're all divorced, and they're like, one of the dads' time of this week is, like, I really miss my wife. I just wish I was with her and, like, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:55:33 I feel like the emotional development that happens on this show. Wow. There's something about it, man. Have you cried during it? No, but I really, I'm close. Because it's such a bad show, but then you find these moments in it where you're like. It's like junk food. It's the best junk food, though, and I cannot.
Starting point is 00:55:50 Here's the reason I keep bringing it up. I don't have one friend watching this. I don't know a soul on the planet who's watching this show. Everybody's watching it. Yeah. Everyone's talking about it. Everybody's talking about Milk Manor 2. So good.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Check your local listings. Oh, this was so messed up. What is this? Okay, Dancing for the Devil. This is a documentary that's on Netflix. So you guys know if you watch cult documentaries ever, usually by the end of the documentary, the cult has been taken down.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Or is in the middle of him. Yeah. So this one is about like families whose kids go to this cult that's a church. And the church is also a management group for dancers. Stop trying to silence me, Christian. You will not silence me. They manage dancers. And like there's families that they can't talk to our kids anymore because they're dancing for this cult.
Starting point is 00:56:45 And they're trying to sue. But it's very difficult because in this country, running a cult is not illegal. and being a member of a cult is not illegal. So you have to get that person on something else. Wow. Okay, so that's what it's about. Yeah, but the head of this is like, I mean, there's been dozens of women
Starting point is 00:57:00 have accused him of assaulting them and, like, horrible things, and the police are just not doing anything about it yet. And then this doc came out, I think, to try to be, like, we need outrage. This is so, and it is, like, really hard watch. I don't know how you do it. I don't know how you watch this stuff.
Starting point is 00:57:16 I know. Yeah, it's mentally. But this is like our backyard. This is an elderly. Colette. I watch these people dance on TikTok and they're part of a cult and it's like what's going on with our planet. Titt talk.
Starting point is 00:57:27 Titt talk? Yeah, Titt talk. How come there's never been a Tit talk? Yeah, Tit talk. It probably is a Tit talk. It's a good thing that there's no laws. About Tito? You know, protecting these cults or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:57:39 For real. How is that possible that it's not illegal to run? So bad. Well, I'm going to protect you guys because it's time to go. Yeah. So thanks for being here today on the show. I like these little moments. So thank you for joining us here today.
Starting point is 00:57:51 Put your comments in there, anything that you want to talk about, anything we discussed thus far. I know you guys like when we tell our stories. You like to be, it's like the little peak where you guys could kind of hang out with us. That's kind of what this show has been. And I think that's why we put it up on Friday. So thanks for joining us. Roxy, where can they find you? Everywhere at Roxy Stryor.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Brett. Starting Saturday, I'm checking the fuck out, man. For nine days, I'm not doing shit. So don't even contact me. Really good plug. I can't promise you that, but you don't have to answer it. Thank you guys. Yeah, Roxy and I will be back next week to do our show, even if it's virtual, but I think we'll be in studio.
Starting point is 00:58:30 We're pretty sure we're going to be in studio. So thank you for joining us here today. We'll see you later. Bye.
