Starting point is 00:00:34 but what it was like to be there. This is combat story. I'm A.J. Peschuti, a retired force recon Marine and scout sniper, and this show is for anyone who wants to understand the human side of war, through the people that lived it. I sit down with veterans from across generations and specialties, special operators, pilots, infantry, law enforcement, and everyone in between, and we talk about the moments that stayed with them, the missions that went
Starting point is 00:01:01 right, and the ones that didn't, and what it costs during and after. There's no script and no agenda, just real conversations between two people who've walked similar paths. We're not here to create content. We're here to provide context. So whether you've worn the uniform or just want to understand those who have, watch, listen, and follow us wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome. to combat story. This is education for the self-starters, the go-getters, and the big dreamers. So if you're looking for a university
Starting point is 00:01:36 that believes in your potential as much as you do, this is the school for you. At Strayer University, we've been in the D.C. area for over 130 years, and we're always adapting to students' ever-changing needs in this ever-changing region. So you can keep striving.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Strayer University is certified to operate in Virginia by Shev. Oh, boy, we're excited. Who knows if it's for the right reasons or not, but we're excited. Welcome back to Big Thing. It's Thursday. And you guys are watching, listen. We're either a full, like, Q&A episode. We went to the Facebook page and asked you guys to put some questions in,
Starting point is 00:02:17 and you did, and I appreciate it. We're going to answer those questions. And I got Brett and Kate here to talk about it. So we're very excited about that. I'll talk a little bit about Moon Night and everything else that kind of came out. And Morbius, at this point, Morbius, my review of Morbius is up on the channel, and my review of Moon Night is also up on the channel. So you can check that out.
Starting point is 00:02:37 We'll talk about that and a lot of other things. And if you haven't already, please subscribe. Please do that. Subscribe. Hit the notification button, the like button, all of it. And yeah, it's going to be the big thing. It's myself. It's Kate.
Starting point is 00:02:50 It's Brett. Let's do it. Not it. Also not it. Still not it. Oh, that's not. Oh. That is.
Starting point is 00:03:10 It's not it. Oh. Oh. That's not it. It's a good song. I like it. That's not it. I got to realize I've got to sit here today for some reason.
Starting point is 00:03:21 I'll angle down. Welcome back to the big thing. It's really nice to have you here. Wait, Kate, you look like you're question on your mind. What's wrong? I just want to know. What? I have a lot of questions.
Starting point is 00:03:34 What do you want to ask? Well, first of all, is Sadie cool that we're here? Oh, I'm going to. Oh, okay. Sorry about that. Please. Brett, anything you want to ask? I just didn't, I didn't know if it was cool as being here, you know, with the code restrictions if Sadie was cool at that.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Keep, no, I'm going to. Okay, so let's just, okay, got it, got it, we'll move on. Today's Lonnie's last day at her job. Yeah. Keep my wife now. I'm so sorry, Brad. I'm going to. I did make a promise to the audience on the other day of my show.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I was not going to talk about that. I'm not going to. I'm going to. Oh, that's so good. We're also, by the way, we're not talking about it. Mickey and Goofy are talking about it. It was the lost episode of a Mickey Mouse Club. I don't know if anybody knew that.
Starting point is 00:04:51 The Mouskatools. This Mouss good tool helps you keep my wife. And by the way, for people who want to see that full video, go check out Brock Baker on Twitter who posted this whole thing. It's hilarious. Really, really funny. Really funny. I'm going to. I'm going to.
Starting point is 00:05:09 So good. Anyway, got a lot to talk about, a lot of questions. Liddy broke the mousquetools. Yeah, I'm going to. Oh, goofy, you don't have to be so upset. Oh, it's so good. Oh, it's so good. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Miska. Mosa. Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth. Keep. Oh, I'm going to. It's that pitch he hits. I was laughing. I was really laughing.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Pretty hard on that. All right. So, again, a lot to talk about today. Are you guys? And so just everything on the table here, this is, we're recording this on Tuesday, but we're releasing it on Thursday. But are you guys going to be watching Moon Night's? because I've seen it already. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:07 I liked it, man. You did? Yeah, yeah. I like it a lot. It's pretty good. It's Oscar Isaac. Do you like Oscarizer? He's the greatest thing I ever had.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Then you're going to love it. Yeah. He really is asked to, you know, put it on. Oh, we got a bee in here? What is that? There's a fly. He's gone. Oh, no, he's coming back.
Starting point is 00:06:25 He wants to be on the mic. He smells my shirt. Yeah. That's your breath. That's your breath. It's just my ship breath. Well, so he, so he, Anyway, he's really good in the role.
Starting point is 00:06:37 And he's, you know, the character, how much you guys know about the character at all? I've seen the trailer for it. The trailer, but so he's got split. I know Brett who's seen the trailer for it. He's got split personalities. And, but he's also there's, he's visited or inhabited by an Egyptian god. Kosho, I believe it was. And voiced by the great F. Murray Abraham.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Ooh. Yeah. So, and he's got, but the thing is, when it first starts out is that you get this character of Stephen Grant, people are talking about this accent. Oh, the accent's not that good. It's kind of on purpose. And it's like, well, he's, this character, this personality, Stephen Grant,
Starting point is 00:07:17 is trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. He doesn't know. He has no clue. He's waking up in places. He's got blood in his hands. He doesn't know what the hell's going on. And it's this Mark Specter is the other character who's the ex-merk, who's the American version, that is the other personality that,
Starting point is 00:07:34 does know very well about consue and all and and the um everything about it so it's it's him discovering this and them kind of forging this relationship so it's really the three of them inhabiting this one vessel that's awesome um and it's got some dark shit in it for sure but it's also got the marvel it pops the marvel humor and and it's uh it's really good i've seen four episodes there's only one that's out right now so i'm definitely going to spoil that my spoiler review of episode one is definitely on the channel it's at the time of this airing. But it's good because I think it pushes towards a more adult show.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I think this is something that me, you, Lani, they can all watch. Nope, my wife's name. Oh, I'm going to. I won't bring that up again. I apologize. I didn't know it was a show. That's so dumb. You thought Moon Night was a movie?
Starting point is 00:08:27 Yeah. I do that for everything these days. It's so weird. I get used to it. Yeah, it's true. Wow. And so it'll be, when does it drop? It's already up at this point.
Starting point is 00:08:37 At this point for where we... So it dropped Wednesday, 12 a.m. It dropped Wednesday, March 30. It's up. It's already up. It's already up. You piece of trash. We're in the future!
Starting point is 00:08:52 I've come from the future! You dirt ass. Don't make the joke! Don't do it. That's it. Dirt ass. Is anybody calling anybody dirt ass anymore? I wish.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Did anyone ever call somebody in turn-Ais? No, I don't think so. But they should. Yeah. Man, the good old days. The good old days. Nobody used that, and they should have. All of a sudden.
Starting point is 00:09:16 It was great. We could call people dirt asses. Can't do it anymore. Can't do it. Can't do it. Can't do it. Can't do it. How funny was it?
Starting point is 00:09:24 I know we never talk about this stuff ever, but like how funny was it that Putin was trying to blame us people trying, a cancel culture. That was hilarious. I mean, out of everything, like, Putin's saying, oh, this is America trying to cancel me? What world are we living in that the leader of Russia is saying cancel culture?
Starting point is 00:09:44 That was amazing. He knew how polarizing that would be. And he knew he would get some fans here for that. They'd be like, what? I do agree with that. That was hilarious. Yeah, why are they trying to cancel? He's a patriot.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Oh, you can't blow up buildings with kids in it anymore? What's talking about? I'm not laughing at that. I know what you mean. Oh, my God. It's like fucking A, dude. It's like, that's, sorry, lunatic. We're not going to, we're not going to.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Listen, we're experts on the subject, and we've claimed to be. Yes. So please take our thoughts on this. Okay. Very seriously. None of research. Please, do the research. No one said anything.
Starting point is 00:10:23 What we should do. We should tell, well, Smith, that Putin was talking about. Yeah. Solved it. That's it. Solve two problems. Two birds. With one stone.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Two birds. One hand. Two birds, one bland. Two balls, one mouth. What? Brett, this is not that kind of. That's the clip I need. That's the sound clip I need to find is, oh, you don't think I suck my husband's
Starting point is 00:10:49 ball anymore? That's what I need to find. It is a classic. You got to find that. So I got like a jersey accent in it. Do you in that clip? Yeah, I don't know. I'm like, you think just because I'm married, I'll suck my husband's balls.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Like, I don't know why. And then I got like, I went to like my. New Jersey relatives. The processing and Mark's brain. Don't you do it. Don't you do it. Don't you do it. I'm not going to say that there's a cute pug at the door.
Starting point is 00:11:12 You do it. Don't you do it. He doesn't walk. He prances. He talks about. He's a little butthole. No, no, no. Hey, hey, you dirt.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Don't do it. Don't do it. Dirt ass. Don't do it. No. Oh my God. You got an umbrella. Nobody can really see what's going on here right now.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Oh, I just saw Sadie. Oh. He's my wife's name. Oh, I'm going. Why was she ramming an umbrella up the dogs? Dogs asshole stinks, man. He's like fish ass. We were calling him lately.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Oh, does he have to have his land extracted? It looks like we're going to have to do it. Oh, I saw somebody do that once. It's not a pleasant. Where was it? Was it at like subway or something? I was like, why are you doing that in subway? They're like, you want dog land?
Starting point is 00:11:57 Why are you doing? You want some dog land on your sandwich? You should cut this out. I forget what it's like a, it's like a gland. You know, you're right, the extraction of it. Yeah, right. That's with a raspberry-floring, comes from a beaver's asshole glance.
Starting point is 00:12:10 I'm sorry, what? Yeah. That's what raspberry flavor? Artificial raspberry flavoring. I don't know if they still do it, but back in the day was used a beaver anal glands. Look it up. I think you're just making things up.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Honestly, we're got, we are experts on everything we're discussing today. I'm telling you, do you research. I'm trying to find my research. I should have done that it was, as we were getting used to this, knowing that the show was going to be taping, the time it was. I was not prepared at all for anything. You have lower thirds ready, had nothing ready. But now, now I do.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Still don't. I'm bringing things up. Brett, you're going to keep talking about anal glands? Well, yeah, how's yours? What in nature? Like, when dogs existed before they had humans that would express their anal glands for them, what did dogs do? It just stunk up the joint. That was it. It's like the same thing.
Starting point is 00:13:01 It probably isn't comfortable either. Well, that's the same thing, like, before buildings and all that stuff with cavemen with earthquakes, they didn't like run for cover. they just fell. Okay. You know? There was nothing else. Because now your buildings and electricity and shit hitting you.
Starting point is 00:13:14 Back then they just fell down. They got up and they went about their business. Or got crashed. By what? By the cave ceiling. Oh, come on. How often they were called cavemen, but did he really, they just slept on the grass? Yeah, come as far as I'm concerned.
Starting point is 00:13:28 A bunch of dirt. That's where it's when they started saying dirt. Yeah. That's where it all came. It was the dirt ass. It was all about the dirt ass. It was all about the dirt ass. That's exactly the food additive.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Castria. Don't you know the story of the dirt-ass-ass-ass-up? There was a dirt-ass-up jumping on the ground. He fell round, and then he fell down. I saw my grandmother on the stove, and she was walking around in droves. What's a drove? I don't really know, but I used to watch.
Starting point is 00:14:07 This film show It had six bears And it had six cats And it had a bunch of people With purple hats What does it have to do with earthquakes? I don't know But I still liked it anyway
Starting point is 00:14:22 It was on for three seasons And then it got cantered Like Putin in Russia It's so very true Don't you know And how do you know And one time I got hitting The balls with a spike bat
Starting point is 00:14:35 And my grandma was dancing on the stove No, she wasn't, it was actually the fridge And I'm lying, it was actually You do it, go ahead So my, I'm starting, right? I asked my grandma where a raspberry-flaving come She told me it came from a beaver's butt But it wasn't actually a beaver, it was a dog
Starting point is 00:14:58 No, it wasn't a dog It was actually a cat No, it wasn't a cat It was actually a squirrel She was dancing on the ceiling She was dancing on the floor She was dancing all over the world You know
Starting point is 00:15:11 No she wasn't actually dancing She was actually just laying there Oh shit somebody checked grandma's breath Is she pulled the mirror under her nose Say she's not breathing Hit the life line Hit the lifeline hit the life line hit the life light Hit the life light hit the life hit the left
Starting point is 00:15:28 Oh grandma chitz was pretending to be dead That's a funny joke that she likes to do Oh my goodness That guy sounds like me I think he was a clone And he has to pee On the floor On the door
Starting point is 00:15:44 No it was The Mb of negated Did you hear my intro the other day? No, but Did you hear it? Yes, I heard your intro the other day I want to show I'm like this is Brett reacting to my
Starting point is 00:16:00 My intro Because it was It was everything. Yeah, hold on. This is, this is, this is, uh, this is Brett reacting to my intro from the other day, to everything that he basically just did. Um, sorry. See if I can get it here.
Starting point is 00:16:18 For those of you don't know, we are experts in improv to an improv. The best thing to say is no butt. That's right. Oh, come on, you twat. No dirt butt. It's not on there. It's pretty. Yeah, I'll just play it.
Starting point is 00:16:32 This is everything. just do through my phone. Everything else is the pain in the fucking ballback. Yeah. Yeah. So I got to get Brett's reaction on this because this is perfect. That's what we say applesauce and hand grenades. That's what we say every morning in the household. It's not true at all. Nice to see
Starting point is 00:16:50 everybody here. Nice to hear from everybody here. I haven't heard from any of you because I'm talking to a microphone all by myself with Koi and Winston here. So I'm not by myself. So I've just three times in the course of 45 seconds. No, not Jesus. He's not here yet. But she can't see it to me my dream also.
Starting point is 00:17:06 line. So it is time for the movie trivia Shmodeon. That happens on Friday. Today is the big thing. We are talking about the big thing, and I lied again, because the movie Trubmoudon is on a little later on today. So we are going to be doing a rewatch of nothing today. It's all about talking about stories and things that we've heard. Not stories like you hear at a preschool, because we're way too old for that. We outlived it, which we didn't outlive it. We're still alive. I've lied again. So we are continuing to go on and on and on until we keep going on about the Batman. We're going to be hitting that. That's a story that we're actually going to cover with. Barry Keegan, that's his name, I think it is.
Starting point is 00:17:40 He was in a movie, and he was in another one. And he got a scene cut from that movie. He's going to... He keeps going to go on. I was like, I think I ended with something about being on a bell tower. I don't know what it was. This is why people can ever be like, Christian, talk to me the way you would talk to yourself. I'm like, yeah, I'm still going to fucking negate you that.
Starting point is 00:17:58 That's what I do to myself. I say no a lot to myself. You should say no idea what was going on. It's no idea. Now they know. And now they do. All right. So we have a couple things that we're going to get into as far as the questions.
Starting point is 00:18:12 You guys have sent in a bunch of them. So we're going to get to it. But before we even do that, I have to let you guys know. And I'm very excited about this Friday, man. Friday Night Titans. We can't get anything out of Kate. I know Keith's not going to be there, but you can't. You won't tell us who he's going to challenge, huh?
Starting point is 00:18:27 No, I will not. Fine. Well, it's going to happen. And it's going to happen tomorrow. And you guys, watch it, Friday Night Titans. It's going to be good. It's going to be real good. And the other thing I want to tell you about is Coinbase, ladies and gentlemen.

Starting point is 00:19:49 That is Coinbase.com slash big thing. Aye. Let's get into some of these questions, questions. So here's the first one. They're not questions, they're answers. There you know. No, they're actually. No, actually they are.
Starting point is 00:20:06 They're just quotes. They're all quotes. What the hell's going on? Where are my questions? You just had them. Had them all. Oh, you know why? I know why.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Oh, what is that all about? Now, watch this. Okay. Watch that's just trick. Okay. So good at this. He is just taking his own penis out. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Oh. There you go. Richard J. When COVID is over, will you come to my house for coffee and cake? Safe yes. That's a safe yes because COVID will never be over. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:31 So, you know what? I can't even, the hell of it, I'm going to have to probably cut this out. Oh, because we can't say COVID. I can't even say it. That's how many they cut out. Can we say Divak? You can just say that things happened.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Things happen in the world. You can't say divok? You can't even say so stupid. David Cass, films you would most likely to be rebooted or remade for the modern era. Is it a good question. You have any question? You know what I actually, Kate,
Starting point is 00:20:54 a movie that we have in common? Yes. That I'd like to see rebooted into a live action version. Transformers the movie. Oh. Get Michael Bay the hell out of there. Get him nowhere to be seen. Yes.
Starting point is 00:21:04 And remake that movie. Get me Spike. All of that. Yes. And you can still put the... Star Scream! With the Stan Bush music and all that stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Yeah. That brings back's nightmares. Sexy time. It ruined a relationship. That song ruined a relationship. Aren't you glad in hindsight because now you're married to Sadie. It's... Keep my wife's name.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Oh, I'm going to. I'm going to. Yeah, it's like, yeah, it's true how that all works out. If that song doesn't pop up and it's something else and the relationship winds up going well. Oh, so that was clearly the wrong relationship because that song should make a relationship. It was weird. It was weird. It was, it was weird when it was happening. It was bizarre.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Oh, you're admitting that. Yeah. Yeah, because the music was loud in the room. For people who don't know. Why dare dare you to go down on me? No, didn't work? When that was, it's like, you should be full. focused on the task at hand.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Okay. And when you're thinking about whether or not you should change the song during the act, it becomes problematic. Yeah. And then when it goes into the chorus. Yeah. And then the person realizes, what the hell is this? That was the end of it.
Starting point is 00:22:23 That's what sexy mix, baby. No. I cued it up. From L.L. Cool J to Stan Bush. It's not something. I don't think I've, I guess maybe in college, I was a music person. But for the most part,
Starting point is 00:22:37 we just did it. Bown and Rome. The most part, too. This was like someone that was like dating. You know, so we're trying to do. It was like, it was supposed to be like romantic. Spice it up.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Yeah, it didn't work out too good. Coco melon theme. You had to say it. I know that theme so well now, too. Oh my God. You had to say goodbye to her stand bush. No. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:22:57 We did it. That's true. Cut. All right. That's it. But how that, this is what happens. when you have the three of us on the show. The guy asked about what reboot we want.
Starting point is 00:23:06 I'm talking about pussy eating with fucking Stan Bush singing in the background. But I couldn't agree more. If they did a live action of that, or honestly, I would even love like a, like a, like a, it doesn't even have to be live action. I would take another cartoon version of it with the new technology to make those transforming. Do you know what I got out of all this though? As I hear this, out of all this, I realize we could mention Stan Bush and pussy eating
Starting point is 00:23:32 and we wouldn't get flagged, but we would. You mentioned the other C word and then you get flagged. Unbelievable. Tell you what. Well, they say the priority. One of those things is fake, so. Well, it depends if you're, not if you're Batman, I guess. The world is run by dirt asses.
Starting point is 00:23:48 That's what I mean. That's right. No Batman don't do that. See, I think that was just the wrong person to do not Batman. Batman's definitely clear in it. Why do you think he has that part of the mask? Why do you think he lives in a cave? That's the other sound clip I have to get.
Starting point is 00:24:03 I have to show you. The mask doesn't have a mask here. Why? Yeah. Come on, people. It's canon. It's, they retcon the cannon. They retcon to the cannon.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Oh, it's Batman. Hold on. Returns. This is it. This is a. I have to play this clip. I have to get this clip and I realized I should have done this a long time ago. And I've played it before on this show, but Kate has not probably heard this in quite a while.
Starting point is 00:24:34 And it is really good. And this is something that from our re- For a rake. Well, from our re-watch series, we pick this up. And I have to get it. Let's see if I can find it. No. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:24:48 I can DNA to be there. He's great. But it's, it's, I'm moving a little slow here, but this is a, come on, Pengman, get your shit together. There here it is. I'm going to just read the Russian subtitles.
Starting point is 00:25:18 That's from Batman begins. Oh, Batman returns. Yeah. I saw that movie as a child. They probably didn't even get it. No, I guess I didn't. Yeah, but it's like, so it, there's a lot. That's a lot.
Starting point is 00:25:31 That's a Twitter. They should remake Batman. You know, they've done that quite well. How does parents die? I don't know. Yeah. Why did you say, Martha? Keep my wife's name out your fucking mo!
Starting point is 00:25:50 I'm going. I'm going to. I'm going to. Anyway, so, Brett, do you have any answers the question? Yes, I do, actually. I've said this before, and I will stand by this. I want to see Dick Tracy, but gritty, gritty, dark Dick Tracy. It's a great idea, though.
Starting point is 00:26:07 The problem is that does anybody even know besides us old fogies with the hell Dick Tracy? Yeah, I don't know. You know, what about a TV series? I thought that Madonna Warren Beatty, am I crazy to think that was good? I remember loving that as a kid. It's on 90s. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:21 But like the way they took, you know, Batman and made it more great. I would like to see this to be. Because, I mean, they're gangsters. It's about mob bosses and things. I think it would be really cool and I want to be in it. Yeah, it could be fun. Yeah. His name is Dick.
Starting point is 00:26:39 All right, let's see. Next one. Let's go to Mark Smith. Love from the UK. What, in your opinion, was the most underused character that had more potential in Star Wars prequels, original trilogy and the new trilogy, show a bit of class, will you?
Starting point is 00:26:53 And read my question now, loving your work. Thank you, Mark. Underused character, they're the most potential in Star Wars prequels. I mean, I actually would say Obi-Wan. I don't think Obi-Wan was, well, Obi-Wan, man, Maul is hard to say because they then start to develop him in Clone Wars. Count Duku is another one.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Yeah. The villains, I think, would have been more effective if they would have, each one of them crapped out in each episode. Amal eats it in the first one after he's established. And then Count Duku is, in the entire one, he's established as this big bad, and then he dies in the first, like, 15 minutes of the third one. So any one of those guys... He's such a huge part of Clone Wars, too.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Huge. Yeah. Right. So I think that any one of those guys, I think, could have been a, those characters could have been developed more. And like I said, Ewan McGregor in Phantom Menace is just sitting on the ship for the whole episode. It's a young Obi-One, and he's not doing anything. And he's supposed to have this whole relationship where he meets Anakin. And he should, I still think to this day, he should have been the one trying to convince Quigon that he wanted to bring Anakin in. And he discovered
Starting point is 00:28:07 him because he says to Luke, I felt that I could train him as well as Yoda trained us. And you never really see that you see i guess at the end of of you know phantom men he's like i want to take him on because quigone he he feels he doesn't want to bring him on so i think that there's eum mcgregor he's such a good actor you're like oh okay he's noticeable because it's eum mcgregor so i think that's that's probably what about for you kate uh and the jar jar yeah more i actually well it's funny i know exactly with the new trilogy i'll tell you right now i could see way more babu frick i could see bobby yeah it's hey hey the dry memory is blank, blank, blank.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I mean, it's that, but that's like, that's a silly answer, but also, like, I, when you think about, like, all of the droid characters or, like, also, like, K2S. Am I getting that right? Yeah, you're going to see more of him and, I would have loved to see him. I mean, he was, season two. Like, that's, like, where the humor aspect really comes into these films for me. It's like the creatures and the droids. So, yeah, give me some, give me some K2S.O in the, in the new trilogy.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Right. Do you give a crap? I don't not give a crap, but I think you guys had some good answers. Fair enough. I appreciate that. I like what you're doing there. All right, let's see the next one. Quinn Brosef Remkus.
Starting point is 00:29:22 Question for Brett. Who wins in a fight? Are Reese's or a Kit Kat? This is a very, very important question. I think Kit Kat's edging out already because I think it can split up into four. Okay. Hit it from all directions. Rees, you know, it's flat to,
Starting point is 00:29:41 the ground that Kit Kat could be just pounding on it so yeah I'm gonna go I'm gonna go Kit Kat okay okay okay I know this was just a question for you but I would like to say that Kit Katz have less mass once you break them apart and I do feel like you're helping you're being his manager on this I'm just saying these are two these are two very prominent managers than shmown by the yeah yeah um and I just feel like the yeah the the sort of heft and mass of a Reese's really could I mean you could just sit on the kick cat you can snap a kick cat you had me until you said reesey's okay you're one of those reesey's pieces pieces pieces reeses you lost it oh my god the mitch headberg no guys know you guys
Starting point is 00:30:24 know who's reese is it that maybe not no i don't know not sure all let's get to the next one if i find him i will give him his pieces back it's something like that is that what he says yeah because he's like why has it got an apostrophe i don't remember who is reese we were on the it was funny last week, Brett and I were talking about Bill Hicks. I think we just started getting to a whole thing. We played like a whole bit of Bill Hicks for Steph when she was on the show. Aren't you on the show? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Yeah, yeah. And we just talked about Hicks the whole time. And the people, I was glad because there were some people who had never heard of him. And they were getting into it. Man. And stuff like, he's funny. I don't know how I feel about his masculinity. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:01 He was a step. That was a good Steph impression. Thank you. Yeah. But no, she loved it. She was laughing around. By the way, ladies and gentlemen, I have someone on the line right now. Oh.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Yeah, somebody on the line right now. No, that's not, that's Brett. Where's Brett? I don't want Brett. I don't want someone. I want to put someone on the line. Ladies and gentlemen, calling in, it is the one and only. Zaflurton is here.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Oh, my God. Oh, this is why would you set me up on this? I'm sorry. Zaflurton, how are you, sir? Hello, Stinkas. It's nice to hear you. We haven't seen you in quite a bit. So you never told me about this movie trivia Shmodown stuff you're going to be doing,
Starting point is 00:31:36 and now you're a manager of the ruling class? Yeah, I think I'm manager of the year already, right? Well, we've only a couple episodes in, but you believe that. So, look, there's some rumors that you were actually, you hired someone else to do the managing for you. Can you confirm or deny this? Rumors are just that. Rumors are rumors, and they need to stay away.
Starting point is 00:31:55 And I don't accept that because I do the four agreements, and I do not accept that, the rumor of this. I manage wholeheartedly, and I explained in my post interview, that yes this was you know this was like bring a friend to help not help watch manage Dave oh it's just watching you do your thing
Starting point is 00:32:14 yeah yeah I understand and is that the same time like because didn't David Hasselhoff call you personally and give you some tips oh yeah yeah many times he said you know keep your chest shaved right and and just kill it man what was the story with him in the rhinoceros oh yeah he said he always told me never look a gift rhinoceros in the mouth.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Right. Because you shouldn't actually even look at rhinoceros because they're quite scary and they will charge. And I know this for a fact. Well, but didn't you used to call your ex-bandmate, I forget his name, but wasn't he called the rhinoceros?
Starting point is 00:32:53 Yeah, Randy the rhinoceros stonkensteer. Right, right, right. Yeah, he was... What happened to Randy? Randy was stealing from me. Oh, my gosh. What did he steal from you? He stole jewels and women. Oh. And also some de blooms. I don't know if you know that I collected blooms.
Starting point is 00:33:10 No, no. Well, I obviously did. You did. Yeah, well, you know, I do have Kate here. And there's been some rumor, you know, both Kate and Steph are involved in the Schmodeon. What happens if you run into your ex-lovers? I guess maybe just, you know, we could have a sandwich together. Oh, like a real sandwich?
Starting point is 00:33:30 No. Oh, of course not. You silly? Oh, I'm sorry. Why would I want to have an actual sandwich? Do you not eat sandwiches? What was the story about that sandwich and the ostrich? That ostrich, I wanted to go up and smack him in the face.
Starting point is 00:33:47 I said, Nine, that's my sandwich! But the ostrich was just pecking at it. I don't know if you noticed, but we eat half sandwiches, not two pieces of bread, just one piece of bread, open face. I understand, an open face sandwich. Okay, well, look, I just wanted to tell you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:34:03 It's always a pleasure that you call. I know you don't do interviews a lot. I know there's been a lot of people that have been asking you about interviews and the fact that you always come on to this show. We kind of restarted your, rebooted your career, if you will. Yeah. Just get ready to see the ruling cast rule every class. Every class that ever was.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Yeah. All right. Well, thank you so much to flirt and flouse. It's always a pleasure to have you on the show. Thank you. The great's a flirt and flouse, everybody. It's really great to have flirt and floutes. You didn't ask him any questions.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Oh, I forgot. Oh, okay. I was going to ask him what characters and Star Wars. he would have liked to have seen the film. Oh, you know, we should have asked him that. He's an expert. Oh, I just know how much he loves animals, so I always ask him about the animals.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Every time. They're divorcing I mean anymore. Such a creepy fucking son. Michelle Pfeiffer. Michelle Pfeiffer, though. She's great. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's something else.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I'll tell you, though, that's Sybil Shepard. In the 70s. Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That is one of the sexiest women, I think, ever, ever. She was, she was. What?
Starting point is 00:35:19 I'm trying to think Sybil Shepard was also. Was she? Moonlighting? Yes. Yeah, moonlighting and taxi driver. Oofda. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Sybil Shepard, you look at Sybil Shepard in the 19, look, I'm going to put young Sybil Shepard. Okay. One of the sexiest women, I think, that has ever, ever been. Let's see. I'll tell you who else. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Wow. Wow, she's really too blonde for you, Christian. Apparently not. Apparently not. Oh, yeah, look at her. Yeah, uh-huh. Oh. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Yeah, so. Yeah, Linda's squiggily like, just stop pushing it. Didn't she have a thing with Elvis? I think she did. She, wait, that sounds so insane to me that she could have been alive at the same time as Elvis. Not sure. She's given the finger in that picture.
Starting point is 00:36:10 She was a rebel. What a little? Fresh? Don't you get fresh? Hey, Hey, Sybil. That's not Sybil Shepard, but. That's, that's a,
Starting point is 00:36:21 She was young. Look, Elvis. Look it. Poor Elvis. Oh, man. Disaster right there. That Elvis movie looks good. Can I tell you who I think was so hot in the 80s?
Starting point is 00:36:33 Maybe late 70s. One was romancing the stone. 84. Kathleen Turner. Honey. Honey. Me a great. True.
Starting point is 00:36:40 You just shut your mouth She's not to go I don't know She's talking about I'm the pussy you're looking for Get over here Get over here She well didn't she have a whole thing
Starting point is 00:36:54 Where she was I think she was in Californication Was she correctly? I think so Remember being in that She's great She's great Legend man Legend
Starting point is 00:37:04 She's woof Yeah All right next question Okay Next question is Call her you're on air. You're on the air.
Starting point is 00:37:12 We did that one. We did that one. David Cass, what movie would you like to see a sequel to that actually never got a sequel? Ooh. You were telling me Soul Man the other day, but. I don't think so. We told Steph about Smash. I can't believe it.
Starting point is 00:37:29 I don't understand how that movie gets made. How that gets made? It's unreal. Wait, I don't even remember the premise of Soul Man. Oh, my God. Kate. I'm going to see if I can bring a Soul Man trailer up here. Never heard of it.
Starting point is 00:37:42 I was like, it's, it's, it's the most offensive movie that you'll ever, you ever hear of. Oh, that's not it.
Starting point is 00:37:48 That's, that's a different one. How, oh, oh yeah. It's, it's, it's,
Starting point is 00:37:56 see Thomas Howell? Yeah. Yeah. No. This is, the deal. Is it back then, seriously.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Harvard 10,000. The trailer alone, he's got a noose around his neck. Yeah. He's getting ready. Ha! Can you imagine seeing this, you're going,
Starting point is 00:38:34 first, this, this, Imagine watching this in 2022. We haven't even gotten to the actual worst part of the whole trailer. But in 2022, you're going to see a movie with your kids. This is the trailer. And this guy's got a noose around his neck.
Starting point is 00:38:48 This is from 2012? No, they aired it in 2020. Oh, okay. From the 80s. No. Oh, no, no, no. Can you imagine? Like, this is the most offensive movie, I think.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Oh, none of this. I can't even watch the whole thing It's insane that that movie got made It's insane That was the 80s It wasn't like it was like the 40s It was the 80s I think that's what's so disturbing
Starting point is 00:39:31 I guess it's not insane that it got made I get that I guess that was really okay At some point Like that's and that's Jesus Congratulations We're gonna make you picture
Starting point is 00:39:41 Do you remember who the love interest was It was Tommy Chong's You're almost there Five Four Radon Chong There you go
Starting point is 00:39:51 You got it. Cheech Marin. It's a crazy. It is still to this day of the craziest, craziest movie that the fact that that could get made. So no sequel for that. No sequel for that. No sequel. No sequel. No.
Starting point is 00:40:04 But what movie, I'm trying to think there's a sequel. Dread. Dread. Do you guys see it yet? No. Oh, it's so good. The one with Carl Urban, it's really, really good. And that's my, I think that it proves, that Carl Urban proves, you could put on that helmet.
Starting point is 00:40:21 And not show your face if you're a really, you know, he's a well-known actor. And he didn't need to do it. And Pedro Pascall, for the most part of Mandalorian, doesn't do it. It's Halo. You were a Halo fan, right? Didn't you play Halo all the time? So, why is this on me the whole time? Was that on me during the whole thing?
Starting point is 00:40:41 No. But, uh... It was on the leaf blow. Is he back now on a Tuesday? Yeah. He comes in tomorrow. He's like, that, um, yes, the pussy.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Look at him! That's Kate and her toy. She says to herself in the bathroom. Hold on. Can you pick up the leaf flow right now? Maybe. Anyway, hold on. It's gas power.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Go ahead. It's gas. You can't hear that. If not, I'll just. Mama, what do you do it? Oh, this is some show we got there. I have a half, I have a, 80% of my oatmeal is gone. I'm getting some nuts in there, too.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I don't eat on the show place. No, I don't. I didn't even. I'm kidding. That's our thing. All right. So anybody else have an answer to the question? It is a tough one.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Because, like, I could tell you my favorite movies of all time just because of how entrenched it is in my childhood is Goonies. But I don't know. They've talked about it. I don't know that I want the sequel. The problem now. Perfect in my head. The problem now with that, with the sequel, because you know, what they would do is they would be
Starting point is 00:42:06 all the kids, which is what they talked about. You're not going to get the. the cast back because it would be kind of sad to watch. I mean, to have the cast with the kids at times, of course. But like Josh Brolin would be fun to have in there and Corey Feldman and, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:21 I mean, I guess the majority of the cast could come back, but you'd have to have it be a kid's adventure. And the question is, let's just not get Finn Wolfhard again. Let's find new kids. Let's find new kids to do it. And it could be fun. The problem is that I think Richard Donner
Starting point is 00:42:34 always wanted to do it. Yeah. And so who would take up the mantle to do it, which would be interesting. Who would helmet? Who would helm? Helms deep it. All right, then I'll go with bridesmaids.
Starting point is 00:42:50 Okay. I loved bridesmaids. I did too. And I would not mind seeing that friend dynamic. Yeah. Because I will say hangover. Do they capture the magic again? No, well, hangover two.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Yeah. I feel like didn't. Yeah, I don't know. Well, they might, because Rose Byrne was the one who was getting married. Yes. Was she married in the first one? She wasn't, it was, it was Maya Rudolph getting married. No, no, no, I know.
Starting point is 00:43:13 I wasn't sure of Rosebord. Or maybe it's, or maybe it's Kristen Wigg getting married this time. Finally. Chris O'Dowdow. Chris O'Dowd is phenomenal in that movie. Like, he's, that's, this is when. That's a get your type of guy, huh? Well, just because, like, you add him the Irish accent,
Starting point is 00:43:27 but, like, a dude that's that funny and charming and attentive, like, that's actually all a woman. Like. They don't exist. Oh, Irishman, too. That's what Kate. No. Honestly,
Starting point is 00:43:40 But longer. Listen, I'll tell you what, Irishman was the sequel. It was the trilogy, all in one movie. That's how anybody doesn't know. Yeah. But, Brett, you got one?
Starting point is 00:43:51 Yeah, I think the problem is that, yeah, everything you think of, you're like, nah, they'd screw that up. And they'd mess it up. Anything you love that, like, has held, you know, throughout time that you go like, oh, baby, they should, no. Well, they did some, look what they did.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Now, Spider-Man's on digital now. Have you not watched it yet? Oh, we got to get it. Come on, turd. Have you seen it yet? They threw it on Disney Plus now? No, it's not a Disney Plus. You could buy it on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:44:15 That's what we did. Oh, well, that's what's wrong with us. I'm buying the movie. Why not? What are you guys watching right now? Yeah, I'll tell you. I'll tell you what. What?
Starting point is 00:44:26 Pam and Tommy. Oh, yeah. Oh, I want to see it. Finish it. I'm Tommy. Bonnie doesn't like to buy movies. My wife's name. Out your fucking.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Oh! Lonnie doesn't like what? Leave my wife's name. Out your fucking! I'm going to. I'm going to. There's just so much we haven't seen to actually purchase a movie. It just seems silly.
Starting point is 00:44:53 It seems silly. Come on, people. I finally saw it in Conto. And loved it. What a wonderful movie that is. It's really good. It's sweet. That is.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Yeah, it's sweet. And the music is fantastic. Although I do kind of need a little clarification. So what is her gift? She didn't have one. But she does because at the end, she lights up the house with touching the doorknob. So is it just her ability to bring her family together? I'm going to ask, I'm going to ask my four-year-old.
Starting point is 00:45:16 Okay. I'm going to see. I'm going to call my wife. I'm going to see if I can get my four-year-old on the phone. You and I need to. Now whether or not she wants to actually have a conversation is, that's a crapshoot. But I'm going to see. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Let's see what kind of mood. They're both in. What? Could be. Neither one's picking up. Okay. Well, one of them is not a kid. The four-year-old doesn't have a phone.
Starting point is 00:45:47 Hello? Hey, honey, you're on the air. So is, is Macy around? She's watching Sesame Street. Put it on pause for a second. I want to ask her a question. Okay. That's not going to go well.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Just tell her I want to ask her a question about Enkanto. Okay. All right, let's see. Daddy wants to ask you a question real quick. Hey, honey, are you there? Yeah. All right. So I need to know a question about Enkanto.
Starting point is 00:46:20 So what is Mirabelle, right? Is that her name? Yeah. All right. So what's Mirabelle's power at the very end? I know she doesn't have a power in the beginning, but she has a power at the end, right? No. Oh.
Starting point is 00:46:33 So she doesn't have a power? No, she's never going to get power. She's never going to get power. So why does the door light up at the very end, though, when she touches it? Because she's a new leader. Because she's the new leader. Mm-hmm. And so did she not, but she didn't get a power at the end?
Starting point is 00:46:53 No. It's not a power. It's called a gift. No, no one asked you. We're talking to the four-year-olds. It's not a superhero movie. We're not, we're not, we're not, they're like special gifts. Listen, you're not the agent right now.
Starting point is 00:47:06 We're talking to the four-year-old, please. Do you not want to talk anymore? No. What are you watching? Did she know what? I'm not. Trace. And what are you learning on Sesame Street?
Starting point is 00:47:19 I've known fruits and foods. Fruits and foods. What kind? She just shoved a bone out of her face and into mine. All right, fair enough. All right. Thank you for the information. Thank you for letting us talk to her.
Starting point is 00:47:33 Oh, yeah. Fruits and Fah. I love that after everything she says to Christian, you could put in, you dumb piece of shit. I'm telling you, that's her. You dumb piece of shit. Yeah, she's like, what? She shouldn't have powers because she's the new leader.
Starting point is 00:47:52 You dumb piece of shit. Or just put it, or I want to get that clip from Dice. You dummy. You dumb fucking dummy. It's my favorite. I guess I thought that they got a gift. If they had a gift, it lit up the door. Her gift was bringing in the pound landing.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Well, they're watching that. Well, she's watching that now. Vivy is obsessed with turning red. So she... Oh, I still need to see that. That one's on Disney Plus. You got no excuse. Yes, that one we have no excuse.
Starting point is 00:48:23 We're wondering if we should let my daughter watch it though because it's a little... It's... But, I mean, it's... But, yeah, but, yeah, my 10-year-old still has no idea of what it's really about. Yeah. But also, it's not really about that. No, I mean, it's... They address getting older.
Starting point is 00:48:40 No, she turns out of the band and she goes, Jesus Christ, I got him a full-old beard. I'm gushing over it. Here. Clean that shit up. Oh my God. I thought the panda was a metaphor. Jesus Christ did a mom. Who put this crime seat in my pants?
Starting point is 00:48:56 A bear. Why didn't anybody tell me if this was going to happen to my body? What's a month? Oh, hilarious. For the rest of my life until I'm too old? We can't get to any question. No, okay. But I actually, I'm not saying change a thing.
Starting point is 00:49:14 I know. What about you? You must have a movie you want to see a sequel of? I already said it. Yeah, Dredd, come on. Oh, Dred. I started it. Like months ago, it feels like.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Albert Rodriguez, for Star Wars Celebration, you're going to do a Shmowdown in an off-site location. Oh, yeah, I actually want to know the answer to this, too. And will there be any after parties? So here's where we stand with celebration at the moment. I'm so glad you do SWC. I'm at... Star Wars Celebration, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:40 I was like, at Social Warrior Cons. I was like, what is SWC? The social warrior cancellation group. No, it's, we had submitted our panels and we hadn't heard back. And then it was like, it was weird because when we did it with Collider back in the day, we would, they said a whole different team that's running it now than when we used to because we were coordinating with them. And they were like, yeah, don't worry about, you know, signing up to the podcast side of it because we'll take care of this and coordinate through Lucasfilm. And then you guys will have your parents.
Starting point is 00:50:14 And we had three panels. And that's how we did it in 2017. That's how we did it in 2019. And in 2019 in Chicago, we also did a live event. But we decided this year we weren't going to do a live event for costs and all that kind of stuff. So we said, we'll just, we'll just do panels. So we hadn't heard back. We kept following up with Reap and saying, okay, what's the deal? We didn't hear anything back. I finally heard back something yesterday. And there's a new guy that, well, he's not a new guy. He's a new guy that was handling us. The other person we were handling with, he didn't even with the company anymore. And didn't tell us. So at the moment, we don't know if we have any panels yet. And the guy had very, very nice this morning, wrote an email and was like, we might have some locations. If it's around the convention center, then we're not going to do it. If it's inside the convention center, we will do it.
Starting point is 00:51:01 If not, then I might just be going to Star Wars Celebration to cover the panels and we're not have any shmow down stuff there at all. So what's that mean for the Star Wars division in general? I mentioned it on the press conference and a few other things. He's getting rid of it. Yeah. It might just be digital for Patreon is what it would be. And then if we did...
Starting point is 00:51:20 I was joking about you getting rid of it. I can't believe that's it. No, but then championships, but then the championship matches would probably be, like, we'd probably fly... Spectacular. No, we'd probably fly Thomas and do, like, an episode of Titans to whoever, like, became the number one contender. Nice. And bring him in and do it that way. But, like, the goal is that you'd probably do it on Patreon and...
Starting point is 00:51:41 Yeah. Because it's just we just don't have enough space for it anymore. but let's keep going to the next question are they going to be any after parties probably not David Cassing and what movie would you like to see we did that I wonder perfect Richard J we did that one also perfect and did we do this one no David Cass no we didn't films you would most likely be rebooted or remade
Starting point is 00:52:04 for the modern era rebooted or remade did we isn't the one we answer transform maybe I'm not sure question yeah I think you're right question where we do did we put all these things in twice Yeah. Twice? Oh.
Starting point is 00:52:16 There we go. Daniel Riley, what do you guys think of the direction of the Sonyverse movies? Venom 2, Morbius. Where's this stuff going without Spider-Man? I will take this. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:52:26 And actually, Brett, I know you and I feel the same about this. Morbius is one of the greatest things to happen to Spider-Bers. The Spider-verse. So the fact that spider, this fact that they've, first of all, Bring back the webs. Yeah. Well, yeah, enough with the no webs. Like, we need the webs.
Starting point is 00:52:50 And then Morbius, everybody, the buzz on Morbius. The buzz. It's like, I'm like this because there's like bees around. There's so much buzz, you know. People are like, oh, man, Morbis is going to rock. And also, yeah, it's, I just love that it's also a spinoff of the cats. The cats. So it's, yeah, it's.
Starting point is 00:53:12 It's got an hour and the duck in it. I mean, what more can you ask for? 36, 36. Yeah, and I just, yeah, so Sony versus, Sony, how could you do this? Yeah. You know? Why would you? Why would you?
Starting point is 00:53:26 Yeah. How could you? I mean. Say it to my face, Sony. Don't, yeah. If you're going to do this to me, look, look me in the face before you do this. Before you do this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:36 And bring back the webs. The webs. Mark Webb. A whole. A whole Spider-Man film with no web. With no webs. Yeah. It's on, also, venom?
Starting point is 00:53:48 Yeah. Don't touch the stuff. I don't touch the stuff. No. Do you understand what I did? Mm-hmm. I moved my camera out of this so you guys could do it, and I don't know where to find it. So I threw it to the side and now it's gone.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Yeah. Where it is, I have no idea. Do you want to give a real answer to this question? I know I can do this. Oh, there you go. Yeah, but now I have this. Good. Good.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Perfect. You guys keep talking about you bullshit. I'll just do this. Perfect. Okay. There is it. It's coming. It's a professional podcast.
Starting point is 00:54:25 No, it's not. I loved Morbius in the Matrix. Oh, God, yeah. He's like, do you want the red one of the bow? Yeah, he's Morpheus's cousin. So that's, I just listen. Whatever he was just like, I'll take him both. He was a, he was like.
Starting point is 00:54:39 I took, it's purple. I took red and blue. Okay. I took the purple bill. Did you ever finish, did you ever watch the latest? I started it. And actually I watched all of them. And you know, like, I think, you know, the first one in Anamatrix are my favorite.
Starting point is 00:54:54 Oh, that's right. I actually do know about that. Is that okay? Yeah. But so, did you like the new one? I liked what I saw of it. I think I, you know what? Here's a problem.
Starting point is 00:55:06 And you know this as a parent Christian. Like, it's good that you have screenings like at 10 a.m. Yeah. Because if I was like, hey, go to the screening. at 10 p.m. Honshu, hong shoo, hong shoo. Okay, well, now I'm just... Yeah, I got a couple.
Starting point is 00:55:19 I got a couple other ones. Yeah, now you're huge. The way that my head looks right now. Zoom in on Cate a little more. Just go back here. And I'll just stick, I'll be right here. There's the pushy I was for. That bitch dies her own hair, doesn't she?
Starting point is 00:55:51 Try this. I got a better one. This is this what we do in this show when it's just the three. When there's people who don't know what they're talking about, we just do this. I'm trying to see if I can cut your head off. Oh. I don't know how to do it anymore.
Starting point is 00:56:09 There we go. Yeah. I'm about to use my arms and really give it to. you Christian go ahead okay first of all there is no first of all but second of all yeah I got to tell you something yeah how dare you how dare you oh I get an inch in my chin oh picking nose will you yeah okay oh I got it I got it I got it I got it I got it oh oh first the sorry there was no first so secondly I think it's time for a little prayer Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Dear Lord above, please bless these filthy mouths before the show. Okay. And also, yay, the movie, Coda. I would now like to sign for you. It could be offensive. Of course it is, because I realize now I actually do know how to sign and Brett does not. Right. Okay, I love you.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Peace and love. Peace and love. A good thing. Also, do you like, my chin beard I've decided that it's just who I am oh we do we have fun here we have fun here for the audio listeners
Starting point is 00:57:31 that was not funny they didn't know what was going on people on audio it doesn't matter okay so let's see if we have some more questions yeah more question question questionionis we do have some more questionionis but wait why don't you actually answer that Sony verse one for real question oh okay
Starting point is 00:57:47 since so well yeah I I don't, I mean, it depends on how you feel about both Venom and Venom, too. It's very 90s action movies, right? And they're, they're not, if you compare them to what the DC and Marvel Universe is now, they're very different in tone. And I haven't seen, well, I've seen Morbius, I guess in canon timeline of what we're doing here, but officially with when we're recording this, I haven't seen it yet. But from what I assume, if there, if the embargo is,
Starting point is 00:58:19 less than 24 hours before the movie comes out. It's not a good sign. And I don't know what the tone's like. So I'm not sure and I don't know what to do without Spider-Man. There's rumors that they were going to have Spider-Man in it, but now it seems like they're not. If they make money, the joke's on us anyway. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:40 I don't know. I'm not sure. But I'm going to read some more questions. I'm just not going to be able to show them on the screen because we had some more come in while we were doing this. And before we do that, before we even do that, I wanted to also let you guys know about, nope, not about them, about Sunday.
Starting point is 00:58:57 And Brett, actually, this is for Brett. And do you know about this too, Kate? No. Oh, oh. You know, this is right up your alley. This is right up your alley. You know, is this about dying grass? Because I have dying grass.
Starting point is 00:59:06 No, listen to the, yes, yes, yes. You're going to love this. So Kate's going to already be one of our, going to use this code. I sure will. So a lot of people can't even imagine that spring is almost here. And we are so close to getting, that soft grass feeling under our feet,
Starting point is 00:59:20 but we have to get our lawns back to normal first. So this is what Sunday does. It gets your lawn growing and it keeps it healthy all season long. You're always worried about the chemicals that you're using to keeping your yard looking its best. Traditional lawn care lays down 90 million pounds of pesticides each year. Sunday is different. They're on a mission to change how people care for their yards.
Starting point is 00:59:40 So most of us might not think about our lawns in the wintertime, but this is the time right now to prep for this year. You're probably thinking you have so much work to do to get your lawn healthy and green again, but Sunday it takes care of all the work for you. Sunday can help you grow beautiful lawn without the guestwork or the nasty chemicals. Their custom plan includes fertilizer and everything you need to
Starting point is 01:00:00 easily care for your lawn with ingredients like seaweed, iron, molasses, and you can feel good with the kids and the pets being around. For Kate and myself, that's very, very important. Yeah, Tommy Johnson eats the grass. Well, here's what you do. You just attach the ready-to-use pouch to a garden hose and you spray. It takes less than 15 minutes. Best of all, it works.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Sunday is offering our listeners 20% off. The full season plans start at $129, and you can get 20% off at checkout when you visit get sunday.com slash big thing 20. That is 20% off your custom plan at get sunday.com slash big thing 20. This is something you've been looking for, huh? Dude, I'm not kidding. We always are like, ugh, it's the winter, the grass is dead again.
Starting point is 01:00:41 But now we just look like, okay, the way of my head is so much. I mean, it's really, really is. I'm trying to figure out, like. Thank you. If you could make me look petite for the first time of my life, that would be ideal. I'm just a little, I'm just a little girl. But no, we always like, right now, I actually feel like I'm your conscience. You feel like, what's a muse?
Starting point is 01:01:04 Well, like, I think I was Joss Hafti's me. It's on my God. Good and evil on your shoulders. Can we go on your shoulders, Christian? I think so. Okay. Yeah, that's a good idea. Okay.
Starting point is 01:01:17 Wait, you know, let me blow it. Let me blow it up. We really have fun. Paper, hey. Paper, scissors, rocks for devil. Oh, okay. One, two, three, shoot. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Paper, scissors, rock. Shoot. Oh, wow. Scissors rock. I'm sorry, sorry, shoot. This is when I wish Matt Link still listen to the show. Okay. Does it Matt Link listen to the show?
Starting point is 01:01:38 You know, he pieced this part out. Okay. I'm devil. Okay. All right, everybody. And thank you for joining. show here today i appreciate you and tell them to eat your nut sack yeah no don't don't do it yeah don't tell them
Starting point is 01:01:53 you nut sack you can't say that anymore why not it's not good you can't say that there's snowflake over here you can listen that snowflake angel come on just you know reasonable oh just let out let out all right fine if you're not going to say you live in the south for a little bit so that makes sense it's just let out just let out of fart then yeah felt good didn't it yeah it did oh great in the room that is rude. Not really, just two idiots. Did you eat broccoli before the show?
Starting point is 01:02:20 Yeah, it was delicious. Listen, first of all, why are you eating vegetables? I told you, Skittles only diet. My wife makes me. Secondly, you know what? What? Fuck, Sadie. Keep my wife's name out your fucking!
Starting point is 01:02:35 Oh, I'm going to. I just wanted to be two devils. I don't want to be. Fair enough. Fair enough. And why are you so close again? Oh. It's because I do have a giant head.
Starting point is 01:02:50 I thought you were going to say something else. I do have a giant. It's like an oyster. A very, very own birthday to you. All right, let's see. Let's go to this other question here. So this is from Sergio Ramirez. Oh, hi, Sergio.
Starting point is 01:03:16 What movies from the 80s would make a good? great video game today. I still would like to see like a, remember the old school? It started from Punch Out, but then it became Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Yes, yes. I think like to do a game, it would be a fun reboot to do it that way. Weekend at Bernies. I think never-ending story.
Starting point is 01:03:35 To be a game. Never-ending story. Movies from 80s would make a great video game today. Oh, I'm sorry. I said what game would be a good movie? Like if people find out you got a dead guy and then they're like, I can't come in the party. Great video.
Starting point is 01:03:48 You don't need to try again. Right. So what movie from the 80s? I think never-ending story. That's a good one. That's fun. The goonies. Like I want to, listen, I'll tell you,
Starting point is 01:03:56 like a goonies. Like a Legos, I heard they, I feel like they did. If they had a Lego, never-ending story, that shit would be tight. It'd be fun.
Starting point is 01:04:03 That's a good question. All right. So this is from. Jacobs ladder. Oh my God. Aryan, it'd be a good VR game. Creepy VR game.
Starting point is 01:04:10 Speaking of VR games. Oh, yeah, you got it. Can we talk about V-Oclus. I didn't get it for myself. This is the worst. Why is your head so big? It's just genetic. I don't know what to tell you.
Starting point is 01:04:24 What's the deal with Kate's? You should see my father. His head is just as big. I came from him. We both have witches noses. I don't know what to tell you. It's just the way I came. We wear hats the same way.
Starting point is 01:04:36 And we have the same taste in clothing. I love a cargo short. I love a cargo short. No, I, so this, it was actually, I mean, Brett knows the story, but it was a terrible thing. The other show I do on Tuesday nights, my buddy was like, oh, yeah, we're exploring, doing it on the Oculus. I'm like, okay, fine, I'll get an Oculus, like as a joke.
Starting point is 01:05:00 And Dickie thought I was. That you needed it? That I needed it. And that I was telling him to get it for my birthday. So he got it for my birthday. And I was like, oh, no, I didn't mean. It is the best. Did you play Vader Immortal?
Starting point is 01:05:12 Yeah, I did. Did you cry? Yeah, you cried. Did you cry? Did you cry? No, but I played. That was the first thing that I did. I was one of the reasons.
Starting point is 01:05:17 I went and played it before I had an Oculus when I was a Collider. They had a, they had me come play it. And then we had one at the Collider Studio and I played it. And then the second I got one, it was the first thing that I downloaded. It's like what, three parts, right? There's like Vader, Mortal 1, 2, and 3. I just got one for now.
Starting point is 01:05:35 But like you go in and you have to. Do you do the climbing, the motion climbing? Yes, you do the motion climbing. You can turn that off if you want, by the way. I might need to because I get a little gnawsh. That's why that, yeah, you can turn it off. But when he comes up to you and he's like, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:05:54 Thank you. He gets up to you and he's like, eh, just a bussy up looking. Just a bussy up. Yeah, let's just make this. We're all good big heads. Yeah, just everybody get a big head, will you?
Starting point is 01:06:05 No, when he comes up to you and you see how massive. Massive he is, I like started crying. I was like, oh my God. He's really here. And he hands you a cube. And he's like, if you can open this, you're the one. And I'm like, I was like. Did you see the scene when you're walking by and he's like, all the pain from him thinking about Padman and stuff?
Starting point is 01:06:26 Did you see that? No. I haven't gotten that for you. No, no, it doesn't mean. Listen. But it's great. And being on Musafar and everything. Yeah, it's great.
Starting point is 01:06:34 It's really, it's awesome. But I also have this game wander where you can like put it in a desk. I was like, all right, Sydney. I'm dying to get to Australia someday. And I was like, all right, Sydney Opera House. Oh. And then all of a sudden, you put it in, and then you click on the thing. And then all of a sudden, you're out.
Starting point is 01:06:51 All of a sudden, you're just in front. And I, like, I kept going, like, it just takes your, I'm like, oh, my God. You don't have to go. Now I don't have to go. It's the same thing. It's amazing. I want to say it's like $9.99. Wander.
Starting point is 01:07:04 You just, like, wandering around. Yes, but you know what, actually, or wander around the whole world. You could put in, I don't know that they have it, but, like, you could put in your childhood home and go back outside of it. Is that true? You could. If they don't have the footage, you can't. Right. But, like, it's, I mean, it's, it's.
Starting point is 01:07:20 I didn't even heard of this. I, like, uses Google Earth. I, like, I also, like, my favorite place that I've ever been was Hong Kong. And so I, like, went back to Hong Kong. I went to, like, the big Buddha in Hong Kong. So you can actually walk away, you walk around, like the actual area. It's sort of tricky because you don't get to just walk. It doesn't, it's not like it.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Just areas that they have. But, like, they have, it's almost like Google Earth where you, like, an arrow and you can go further around. And then you can actually look around us. That's crazy. Well, it's funny because, like you said, with Google, I can bring up my old address that I've done it before and looked at the old neighborhood and stuff too. If they have it on, I would actually be fun.
Starting point is 01:07:52 I might get that, I might get that today. That, by the way, they have a bundle on that. I think it's like Wander, plus the mini golf game you told me about Waukabout. Did you get it? No, because I bought the Wander before I got the walkabout, but I'm going to get it now. Yeah, get it. So then let me know and then we can play.
Starting point is 01:08:05 Yeah. Brett, you didn't get one yet, huh? I don't know. Talk about it loud in front of Dickey. Yeah. I did the thing. that Kate did around Lonnie and she just said, Keep my wife's name!
Starting point is 01:08:17 Out your fucking! Oh, I'm going to! By the way, Dickie is my wife. Why aren't we doing that whenever I say, Dick? He doesn't have the husband, I'm the husband. Yeah, it's true. Well, you're the other one that cares about the lawn care.
Starting point is 01:08:28 He doesn't get a shit. I'm the one that's like, I'm going to redo these cabinets. When you cook, make sure you don't need to get any grease on them. Is he to cook? Yeah, he cooks so well. He cooks a shit out of it, huh? Hey, sweet cheeks. Why don't you cook us some dinner?
Starting point is 01:08:42 He smacks him on the ass. Cook it up, fuck-o. Yeah. No, he's amazing. He worked in a... Spit it out. Spend it out. Our house.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Sunday brunch at the German restaurant in New Jersey where he grew up. So he's like, you want an omelet. That man will hook you. Yeah. I need it. And Saul will tell you he makes the best fish and chips outside of England. This is why we do this show because we fuck around so much.
Starting point is 01:09:06 I don't know if I have an actual topic that I can get any views on this show. Because I don't know if there's a topic that we'll. We can actually help him in.
