All right, so Wonder Man is coming out for Marvel, and the reviews are already pretty tight, saying this is a great one.
Reviews are out there, critics are loving it, and it's one of the best reviewed shows since Ms. Marvel.
What does that mean?
Is there a superhero fatigue getting cured?
That's what comic book movie suggests in their review.
I'm not so sure.
But we will discuss.
there's other stories but we don't know what they are yet because it's really about Wonder Man right now
not a lot of other things in news regarding comic book movies but I'm sure more things will pop up
so it's myself Chris Carr and Winston A Marshall let's do it
welcome back ladies and gentlemen to the show here today it's a Christian Arnold show on this
Friday as I am preparing for I'm the only one preparing for a storm and it is going to be pretty
crazy because my two co-hosts will probably be at the pool or at the beach.
I will be shoveling snow on Sunday.
So welcoming to the show.
I mean, I'll do you one better.
I'm going to be in Vegas.
I'm going to a bachelor party.
So I ain't pressed about no snow.
No, it's not going to be good.
I'm never going to be at a beach.
Look at me.
I look like a Victorian child who's been trapped in a well.
Either way, you're not going to have to deal with snow.
Are you worried? Are you guys like prepared?
We're, I mean, look, we just don't know what it's going to be.
Is it going to be a foot of snow?
Is it going to be six inches of snow?
Is it going to be?
Because a lot of times with these storms, they say, oh, prepare for the end of the world.
And then it's like nothing.
So we don't know.
We're just either way, if it does snow a lot, I don't know what Monday brings.
as far as doing shows if I can't get to the office.
But we'll see.
I mean, worst case scenario, you got my number of.
I got to hold it down while you out here, you know,
looking like frosty to snowman.
I'll just shut the channel down forever.
That seems really reasonable.
That makes a lot of sense, right?
Just shut it all down.
Snow?
Just throw away everything that I've worked on.
Just got to look, man.
Are you sure you're not actually a Texan?
Because if it even looks like it's going to,
half snow. And it didn't even have to half snow. It could rain a little bit and it's in the 30s and it doesn't even
freeze. And everybody goes, nope, we can't do it. We have to sit. Yeah. We just have to wait to see where
Ted Cruz is going. Well said. Speaking of snow, I just watched John Snow and the Wildlings in
season two. And Sam is is absolutely loving it. She can't. It's like she wants to stay here all day long
and watch it. We just, we just finished season two. We just aired, I think we just aired episodes three
and four today. So we'll have five and six, seven and eight up next week. And then we've already shot
nine and ten. So we're, we're just barreling through these episodes right now. So we should be,
I think that we'll probably be done with Game of Thrones by March. And if we stay in the
schedule. And then from there, we'll probably jump into a couple DC-EU movies. And then we're going
to try to get to Star Wars before Mandalorian and Grogo comes out. That's kind of the,
that's kind of the idea of what we're doing.
And then Winston and I already started with,
we're not going to have them started,
but we've scheduled saving private Ryan,
which we're going to start some more movies.
I shocked so many people that I hadn't,
that that's one of the ones I haven't seen.
I know,
I know.
So it was like,
Steph hadn't seen it either.
And I was like,
oh, man.
And then Chris and I,
we still got a schedule out that.
You know,
the thing is with RRR.
It's three hours and like 10 minutes long.
It's that long?
Yeah.
RRR is three hours.
Well, saving private.
Ryan's like 240. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. So we'll see. Let's get, uh, let's get into these
topics. Like I said to you guys as we're going through the majority, there's really not a lot of
comic book movie news except the fact that Wonder Man is coming out. And there's, and I'm,
I'm not surprised that the reviews are really good. I don't think it necessarily means it's going
to do good ratings, but I think it's, but, but it's getting good reviews. So let's, let's, let's see what
this article here says from comic book movie and that of course is that here's this is the wonder
man review um from comic book movie the hell is so stupid i'm like this this is i'm i put such an
old man moment on so many different levels right there and i have to bring my shot up right now
because so i'll bring both you so you can react to this because this is how stupid this says
i'm looking for my glasses right and so at first i'm looking for my glasses and then i'm like oh wear my
headphones.
I thought that's the
see that's not necessarily
an old man moment that like because my ADHD
the same thing.
I'd be like bro.
It's my microphone. I know
it's where
is there a lobo teaser?
Have you guys left your phone in a fridge yet?
Because that's when you can tell. Yes. Yes. I have.
Okay. Okay. There's a there's a lobo teaser.
There is. Oh. I don't know. Let's go.
I'm on.
Someone's lying, right?
I don't see a Lobo teaser anywhere.
No, I don't see that.
Well, Luke would have texted me if that was the case.
So I think someone's lying.
It feels like a bunch of AI stuff that I'm seeing.
Yeah, I don't know.
Don't worry about that.
All right, let's get back to this review.
All right, so the review is Wonder Man,
the cure to superhero fatigue in the most original MCU series since WandaVision.
Hey now.
Okay, let's see.
So Marvel Studios has lifted the review embargo for Wonder Man early,
and we're now sharing our thoughts on arguably the most unique MCU TV series since WandaVision in 2021.
Minor spoilers.
Minor spoilers, I don't know if I want that, but after a real wrapped film filming in mid-20204,
it's fair to say that Wonder Man has flown under the radar.
Disney Plus has mounted a unique marketing campaign for eight-episode Marvel Spotlight Series in recent months.
Those promising FCU fans a series that explores a new corner of this world, Hollywood.
the result is an introspective character piece that serves as a lot as a love letter to the craft of acting also includes enough superpower intrigue and admittedly minor links to the wider franchise to keep fans happy all in all wonder man is a cure is the cure to superhero fatigue okay telling a story like no other and soaring highest when it puts the mcc's best promise front and center um i don't really want to know that story yet i want to learn about it when i go in there same thing same thing same thing that was that was pretty much enough to know i don't we don't need to
We don't need story details right now.
Have either one of you guys seen this yet?
No, a number of people that have that have told me about it.
And actually, which made me feel that it probably is good because they mentioned,
is this what you go through as an actor?
Are you, is this the shit that you deal with on a daily basis?
And I was like, they would describe it to me and be like, oh, yeah, oh, wow, this might actually be pretty good.
So.
Okay. So I guess the logo teaser is real. Oh. Oh, okay.
So someone said, and then Luke says it's not real. So I don't understand what's happening. It says it is real.
I don't get it. Someone says the lobo teaser is real. Just watch it. So maybe Luke isn't fine. I don't care anymore.
So I'm over. Send a link. Yeah, I don't care. So anyway, this is, to me, one of these things where,
I'm not surprised with anybody who,
the people who are involved in this,
it seems like it's going to be a fun show.
Curing the superhero fatigue,
I like Josh Wilding,
I like comic movie,
I kindly say,
take it easy.
With curing superhero fatigue,
this is not going to be a major hit this show.
It just is not.
It might be very critically reviewed,
and it might cross over to where
both audiences that maybe didn't know why they're making it,
went out and tuned into it and said,
this is really good.
I wish the show would get more views.
But I think it's because of superhero fatigue,
this show is not going to do well.
And I think that it is being buried under the radar.
It's dumping it out on one thing.
So I just don't think this is going to be a hit,
but I think it's going to be well received.
But I don't know, Chris, do you see it otherwise?
No, I'm with you on this.
This is what we've talked about before.
I've been kind of cautiously optimistic about this one, right?
Of hoping that this is going to be really cool and interesting in a character study,
but I don't know if it's going to feel like a superhero show for everyone else.
And that's okay.
I'm hoping that this is one of those things where the word of mouth will get eyes on it
because I love this cast.
I really enjoy the concept.
I'm wondering if this is going to kind of be like actors,
when we watch the bear or anyone who's worked in kitchens,
we have that kind of, oh, God, moment because we've lived that experience.
I'm wondering if that's going to be like Winston brought up to the, oh man, this really feels like
the being in the trenches, like when we do have to go into the room or when we used to go into
the room. Don't you miss that, Winston? Don't you miss in person auditions? Those were fun.
That's what everybody says. Yeah. No, for real. Like, even to the point where like, that's why I
bother you and I go, can I just come to your house and do this audition? Because like, even trying to
do that with somebody over Zoom to like help record it. It's the worst. It doesn't hit the same.
It's horrible. You have to have a other person. Luke sent me the, it's like, it's like, it's
It's not only a teaser.
It's a 45-second thing, Jasonamoa, like, talking about it.
But we'll play it and react to it in a second.
Okay, go ahead.
But it's not like a real teaser for the movie.
But yeah, I am concerned, though, about the whole, let's dump it all out at once.
But maybe it is a, this is a show that you want to binge.
Maybe it is one of those ones that benefits from the binging format.
You know, it's like the finale of queer I dropped.
I don't want to watch that weekly.
I want to watch it all at once with a glass of rosé.
I want to watch Wonder Man, maybe.
Well, I have a stiff, stiff whiskey and go, what have I done with my life?
Right.
But that's where Winston, where I think this is going to land, right?
Because I think that what you could do is you're going to get people that maybe weren't super interested in it in the comic book movie sphere to say and go, that was really good.
I enjoyed watching.
I tuned into it.
But crossing over and, you know, curing the superhero fatigue thing doesn't seem likely at all unless it's, look, there is an outside shot that it's like, this show is so good.
people just started finding this thing in the way that they found like a Netflix show or found anything else to do and people like it's a comic book show this thing's great that could be something I don't see that happening I hope for the cast that that happens but I just feel like it's unrealistic it feels like me more like a in the vein of what happened with Ironheart and what happened with Echo it's like here's the show it's good don't you think it's good no you don't don't worry we've got Spider-Man coming out I mean to cure superior fatigue
that is, that's a wild statement.
I think it's one of those things where it could make people go,
okay, we, we start to come back.
Like, we got a big year ahead of us.
Like, I could see something like that,
but think about it this way.
It was animated, but X-Men 97 was some of the best stuff
that we've seen out of the superhero genre in years.
It did not cure superhero fatigue.
Like, there was not a single bad thing to be said about that.
show it did not magically cure superhero fatigue um loki the zloci's last season was absolutely phenomenal
it did not cure superhero fatigue um it's that's just you you're talking about dealing with like
a depression era almost as a metaphor right you can't do that with just one show because then the
the idea would be everything after it's going to be fantastic as well which it may but you need to have like a
consistency. Here's my one sports analogy for the day. Oh, the Cowboys won a game. We're winning
the Super Bowl. Every time a Cowboys fan says that, everybody goes, you're out of your mind. Stop talking.
Even I know that. Exactly. It's the same thing. Even if this is fantastic. And Yaya is set for an
Emmy. And we green light, you know, the next four seasons of the show, you're not cheering an
entire era of we kind of are not in a good place with this particular genre.
You know what I think they were trying to say though, Winston, and I just maybe maybe
it just wasn't worded the way that they intended was I think it just meant in a world where
the same things seem repetitive and they like, yes, it's fresh. I think they mean that
it seems fresh. That's the one thing that I have heard over and over again that this might
be the most original show that's come out since Wanda Vision. Right. So I think that that's really
what they meant. I don't think when they said the superhero for these, you're not like you said,
I couldn't agree with you more. It's like, you know,
Their show was great.
Okay, let's see everything now.
It's like, no.
You saw that because it was different.
And so maybe it just like it, and to me, it means that you're going to have to get more people who are not just in the movie bubble or the comic book movie bubble to really want to watch this in general.
Because it doesn't seem like it ties too much into the MCU.
That could be a detriment to it, but it could also be a huge help to it as well.
If you don't, like Chris says it all the time, if you don't feel like you have to do homework for this show, that could be a major.
major win for this show. So let's see what it is. You know, it's funny is that they had written to me when I was in LA when I got it asked if I'd be interested in seeing the episodes. And I wrote back yes and I haven't received them yet. So I don't know. I guess it was just lost. But I followed up on it. And if not, I'll probably still check it out once it hits the when is it coming out? The 27th. Okay. So just like four days. So okay. Interesting. Let's see how it's going to go.
I don't know.
But I just, like I said, I root for the cast because I like this cast.
I root for original kind of fun new spins on things.
I just feel like with end game coming out, I mean, not end game,
Doom's Day coming out and then Spider-Man coming out,
this is going to be forgotten really fast in the comic book movie world.
If it's a good show, it could stick around for a bit.
it depends because because like you said if it if it really is if it's firing our imagination on all synapses
you know the way they're talking about with one of it if it's really that good i again think about
exma 97 there was a bunch of other stuff that came out that year and we still were like bro that
shit hard like i think there's a world where you could still look back on it in the way we hell
we even look at sinners right now where it's like sinners came out in what march
And like, and it stayed on people's minds a decent amount.
And then now with the 16 nominations, I think, but it would have to be next level good to do that.
If it's just like a good show, you're right.
We'll talk about it for this month.
Yeah, but I think that, but I think sinners, though, sinners had a lot riding for it as far as publicity goes.
So this, it has, it had a lot of, it had a lot more roads to success than Wonder Man has.
That's fair.
unfortunately. But either way, it's coming again. And to couple up on that, it also received a,
it's got the best Rotten Tomato score for a Marvel show since 2022. WonderMend review of Bargo dropped,
and right now it stands at 96 based on 24 verdicts making it the highest rated live action
Marvel Studios TV series since Ms. Marvel, which is at 98. It places at above Wanda Vision at 92.
Hawkeye at 92 and Loki season one at 92.
The five shows mentioned above are the only live action series
in score in the 90s since Disney Plus launched in 2019.
Since Ms. Marvel's release, MCU TV show ratings on Rotten Tomatoes
have ranged from Secret Invasion's 52.
That's generous to Daredevil's Born Again at 87.
That shocks me.
Marvel animation's offerings have fared a little better.
X-Men 97 sits pretty well with an extraordinary 99% score
on the review.
aggregator. So is it too soon to call Wonder Man a critical hit? No, I don't think it's too soon to call it a critical hit. I think for critics, it's a hit. I think with, you know, if you're going to say collectively in the same way that you would domestic box office to, you know, worldwide box office, you look at the, you look at the audience and see what the audience score is and then combine it as a massive critical hit, we shall see. But a few more reviews will need to be counted. No, it looks like it's going to, it.
Critically, for actual critics who do this for a living,
it looks like it is indeed a hit.
And if you're Marvel, that's a win.
That's a win.
It's a win. I think so.
It doesn't do well.
I think for Marvel and for Disney as a whole,
like I think you have been on such a roller coaster ride.
I think if you need to string together a bunch of wins.
So from the Disney side of things,
obviously you had Zootopia, which has been crushing.
And then, you know, Avatar, which is doing Avaloenix.
It's our business. So if you can turn around and then add a Wonder Man show in here,
and then you'd like you said, you still have Spider-Man coming, you still have Doomsday
coming. And you can have three critical wins, which you're 100% right. Even if it doesn't
do good in the ratings, and if it does, then it's an extra, another win. But you know what's
so funny? Someone, someone wrote because we talked about Ms. Marvel. Let me ask, so Owen Harrison said
that Ms. Marvel's rating is too high. So before I get into this, Owen, Harrison,
seven, six, one, what would you, at a five, what would you rate it? Before anybody answers
house. I want to and then I'll get into
what's the what's the what's the
rotten tomatoes again just just for my reference
for her for 998 but so
I'm asking you for Owen Harrison
what out of three out of five
how many would you give it that's what I want to
know first and then I'll
then I'll go into this rating
and then that rating because I still
because I still feel like rotten tomatoes is
it's kind of a broken system
in general so
I'm interested to see what's
going to happen here. I'm interested to see
what the audience
is going to say because this is where
we're going to get into a little bit of a
predictable thing.
Right? Now,
the predictable is that there's going to be
tons of channels that
that hate it. There's going to be tons of channels
that it's woke and tons of channels that is this and
just so just expect that. Then you're going to get
tons of channels that it's the best show ever.
It should be so good. It should be loved.
if you don't like it, you're a racist.
And this, that, that, that, that, both of those videos, they're all coming.
Yes.
It's the people that say, you know, I, I didn't know what to expect from this show.
I thought maybe it wasn't going to be very good.
I wouldn't really like it.
Or I heard a lot about it.
Didn't dig it as much.
That is what, that, that's who I want to listen to.
So basically you guys, you know, or like other people that I, that I talk to.
I just can't, like, you know,
when I can tell you 10 channels that they're going to love it right now.
They haven't seen it.
They love it already.
And I'll tell you 10 channels are hated already.
They haven't seen it.
So we'll see.
Anyway, any other, oh, yeah, we'll get to the Lobo thing in just a minute here.
But anything else that you guys want to talk about this?
I'm assuming you're both going to, I assume you're going to be doing reactions to it.
Yeah, no, for sure.
I mean, I would say just by the nature of Kingsley and, yeah, yeah.
I am more inclined to think just because of how strong of actors they are and because of how Ben Kingsley's character, Trevor Slattery, has been probably one of the consistently hilarious moments of the MCU since he came around in Iron Man 3.
I remember that brought a lot of ire at first because I'm like, how are you just going to mess up the, you know, the Mandarin?
But as we've gotten the full scope of him has been consistently.
Yeah, he got better.
Yeah, better.
I just think that it's going to, it will do well.
But we'll see.
Right on a corner.
I want to answer.
So this kind of goes to my point.
Owen Harrison, who wrote that it was 98% and that was too high, right?
And I said, we'll rank it out of five.
Three.
He said three.
And it's good things.
Would it come better.
For example, the villains of, well, Owen, just to let you know for Rotten Tomatoes,
you would now improve the Rotten Tomatoes score with your score.
Because three out of five, it adds it.
That's that that that that you would probably get closer to making it closer to it
99 that's how it works so that's people don't understand that so with Owen score if it let's
say a hundred people a hundred people all felt the exact same way that Owen did they all felt
the exact same way they said three out of five it has a hundred percent of rotten
tomato and so if every single person a hundred people said it's okay for the most part
I really liked it, but there was just too many things that I just couldn't get it there.
2.9, but it's okay.
And 100 people did that.
It happens 0% on Rotten Tomato.
I'm, like, actually surprised that something hasn't come up about it being more of an aggregate of, like, okay, if you gave it a four, and then you, and then I gave it a five, and then Chris gave it a three, that they're not actually averaging it out to a three, like, as most averages of anything would do.
It just depends into that you, you, it's another positive review.
You get, if you go three out of five, that's positive.
That's, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a fresh.
So that's when people go, oh, it doesn't, it's not 98%.
You're part of the 98% with the three out of five.
So you, you're actually saying it is 98%.
Um, but that's how it works.
Uh, anyway, what do you guys think about Wonder Man?
You're going to see it?
You can check it out.
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know, uh, Clips channel.
We hit 16,000 subscribers.
So we're trying to reach, we're trying to reach 30,000 by the end of the year.
I think we can do that.
Make sure you head on over there and check that out.
Now, before we even get to the next topic, we're going to do the Lobo teaser in just a minute.
All right.
As you guys know, last week's champion was Steph Sabra.
This week's potential champion, unless you guys can knock them off, Steph Sabra, at 107 currently.
beatable. It's beatable. But damn, Steph, out here just having, now do I have to have a baby? This is
some bullshit. You know, yeah, hey, listen, I don't think you're too far away. I don't know.
I guess so you're going to have. We're not too far away. Let's get through a wedding first.
Like I said, you ain't too far away. So it is now.
Think double income, no kids, baby.
I'm thriving. Don't drink yourself. All right. So.
Let's check this out because there was a lobo thing that was indeed that did come in.
And Luke sent it to me.
So let's, we'll do a little reaction to this here too.
Uh-oh.
Maybe it's too.
Oh, shoot.
I don't know if I can do it.
I think it's to YouTube browsers.
Let me see.
Having problems sharing it?
Uh-oh.
Hold on.
Let me try this again.
Give me a second.
Try it again.
And let's see.
It might not work.
No, not working for some reason.
I think, Luke, I think the file's too big.
So let me see.
Well, look, if you can send a smaller version of that because like,
I don't know if I can, unless I can do it this way.
Let me see.
I'll try to, I'll try it open it.
I'm trying to get the damn thing.
The video file.
Usually it usually works.
Let me try and change it to an MP4 and see if that works.
Sometimes that works.
Give me a second.
Because, like I said, I don't really think it's much more than just a, like an intro to let you know, hey, we're getting excited.
It's coming soon type thing.
Yeah.
I mean, that makes sense because what?
It's June, July.
When that one comes?
I mean, oh, Super, Supergirl.
Spider-Man is July and Supergirl is June?
Is that right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
He sent it.
I know.
So let's see that.
So that didn't work either.
browser is having
Troubles. That's June 26.
Damn, I'm good.
Yeah, let me see. Let me see if this works.
I'll try it again. I'll try it on X
and see. It doesn't really...
If it's too...
Let's try it. Okay, hold on a second.
Sorry, I just wasn't prepared for this
because it wasn't on the showdowns.
All good. All right. So let's try this.
Let's see if this works.
Sharing the screen.
Yaddi-a-di-y.
And here it is.
Okay, James Gunn.
You guys can see that, right?
Yes.
And how about that?
Good?
Yes.
Did you hear that when I played it?
Yes.
Okay, good.
All right.
So let's bring the volume down a little bit.
All right, here's, let me just see how that looks for us.
Good.
All right, here's our reaction to this Lobo teaser.
Here we go.
Hey, it's a Jason Mamo with a cigar.
New Lobo?
Finally.
This is cute.
Check out the Lovbo teaser.
Come on, guys.
Oh, bro, I thought we were going in.
I mean, look, you know, you guys know Lobo way better than I do.
I've just heard about them continuously and everyone was saying how perfect Jason Momomo would be as Lobo.
and if the character is supposed to be Jason Mamoa,
then yeah, he's perfect because he's Jason Mamoa.
Literally, him being Aquaman made zero sense
because I was like, why wouldn't they just make them look?
Maybe they're not going to do Lobo, which they didn't.
And now they are.
And I cannot think of a more perfect actor to play this role.
And it gives me the kind of vibes that once we really took a,
second to sit with Robert Dunny Jr.
to like see who
Iron Man was. It was like, yep, nope.
That would do perfect casting. That's, that's
exactly how I feel about this. But Chris,
in this teaser, again, I'll be
three seconds,
it seems like he's like
zombie wonder,
zombie Aquaman. I mean,
he's, he's himself in juggalo makeup.
That's who this character is.
Yeah.
And that's all we need him
to be. I'm going to be so honest about this.
is let Jason Momoa be Jason Momoa.
And it's just give him a cigar, give him a motorbike, put on his juggalo makeup, and let him punch people.
That's what Lobo does.
He is this big old bruiser and brawler who's friends with guy.
Like he makes bad choices.
He's a bounty hunter in space.
Yeah.
Like after the head injury.
Yeah.
He's a douche.
But yeah.
Keep going, Chris.
Sorry.
He's an absolute.
Oh, no, I can't say that word.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's a Jewish bag.
I was going to say a tea waffle.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's such a fun, ridiculous anti-hero,
villainous, sometimes character.
And he's going to be great in this.
Is this like a teaser that moves the needle for me?
Not really, because it's three seconds of delivering what I just figured it was going to be happening anyway.
But if everyone else is excited about it, that's great.
And what do you think with?
And overall, I mean, there's nothing really.
saw here, you know, it's like, hey, what I think that it did well was to let you know,
hey, remember, we cast him as lobo and he's going to be in the movie. Yeah. I mean, I just,
I just thought we were going to get more. I thought it was going to be like, I thought maybe
if he was going to say finally like that, it would have been, because he, you know, they do
something where it's like, after six hours of hair and makeup, he like gets out with the cigar and
then goes, fine, like that, something like that. I thought they were going to do anything.
So that's cool, I guess.
I don't, we didn't need that.
Well, like I said, I think I need.
It's more so to say, hey, you know, here's Supergirl.
It's more marketing for Supergirl.
But then give me something.
That's, yes, I understand the marketing.
But I don't see, I'll disagree there because like I said,
I don't think that the intent of this was to say,
hey, we're giving you a full on trailer.
It's just more marketing tools.
look remember that if you didn't want to see supergirl before and i also think it's because you're
probably going to get a bigger supergirl trailer at super bowl um and and there so don't forget about us
and you're probably going to see lobo more so in the trailer so they're giving you a little bit of
lead up towards but that's what i'm saying i don't need i didn't need a full like teaser trailer or
anything like that but like if you were just giving me jason moa as lobo walking around the set
talking shit or if you would like because the Super Bowl's coming if this is to tease something in
the Super Bowl and then maybe he's out here like you know fighting Tom Brady but like I got a bounty
on the main man's got to bring in apparently the goat he doesn't look like a goat like anything
but just the finally I was like okay if he had done like it's the same kind of thing as when the
fantastic four trailers came out and we were getting that little tease of like say it say it
the clobber in time moment if we got a moment of like you don't call him
the main man for nothing or time to liven up the joint something that was very lobo classic comic
bookie i feel like that would be again a little 15 second thing but it would deliver a little bit more
punch i think i think i think that this did the job it was intended to do i think it was i think it was
i think it was to start conversation on the internet i think that's what it did i think the people
coming over to the to the chat and saying hey there's a lobo thing out there and and it made me go oh
yeah he's in he's in the movie do you do you remember when uh
when they were doing the the prequel trilogies,
like there was like a very quick moment
with like Yoda in like a commercial same thing.
They hadn't put anything out directly.
You just had Yoda go,
and like even that ended of itself
because it was like,
oh shit, Yoda,
you didn't even give me Lobo.
You gave me Jason Moa going about time.
If you would give me Lobo just even saying one thing.
But I think they did though.
That was the thing.
They said he comes in.
He's Momo.
You see him with the teeth.
And then that leads into a small clip
from probably the trailer they're going to show.
It's similar to what they're doing with the doomsday stuff,
although you get more out of the doomsday things 100%,
but it's marketing tools towards the trailer.
That's what this is.
I don't chastise them for doing it.
I just don't think there was much to it,
but I think that it's just part of the marketing plan.
That's what I'm saying.
It's not, it's not necessarily chastising them as much as it was just like,
if anything, this is left up to say,
I'm more bad at the people in the chat.
They're like, y'all gotta see this Lobo teaser.
I was like, oh, shit, okay, what we do it?
I'm more bad about that.
I think they were being nice to say, like, hey, I know you guys have nothing to talk about today.
Yeah, you have no story.
Yeah, so if you want to talk about Lobo, you can.
I think that was this to chat being nice.
But let's get into this, though, you know, where we were just talking about,
well, first of all, before we do that?
What do you guys think overall about Lobo?
Do you want to see Lobo?
Do you care?
Do you think this is just marketing tools?
Do you think that there's some hype behind it?
put your thoughts in there. If you haven't subscribed to the clips channel already, please do that.
I joke lovingly, Winston, you'll get a kick out of this end of the day. And I'll do it,
I'll do it on Monday also and he'll get mad at me, but we'll laugh at it. I said, like,
my goal is to try to get to more subscribers on the clips channel by the any of the Marocas channel.
That's the, that's, I don't think I will. He's already, he's, he's doing well. He's approaching 50,000
or 42, wherever he's got. So that, he's doing well. But I, I just, it would be great on that clip
channel because we have a lot of stuff going on there and shorter and we have an advantage we have
shorter form content on there so I hope people will go and check it um okay so let's now move to
we're talking about the Super Bowl and it's the one time by the way when I was talking I'm talking
about a prize picks which I'll play a little later on and I mentioned like the big game
throughout it it's the only time you'll hear me say the big game is through because the sponsors
asked me to the big game why the why
Because that word is the phrase is copywritten.
I know.
I know.
I just don't know why.
The big game is stupid.
I didn't know it was copywritten.
No.
The Super Bowl is copyrighted.
Yeah, Super Bowl's copywritten.
Right.
And here, but here's why that is so stupid, Chris.
That is so stupid because it's like, imagine if we had a capes and cow's event going on.
Like, hey, we were a big event going on that everyone wants to watch it.
But do me a favor.
When you talk about it, don't call it cape and cow's event.
Call it the comic book show that everyone talks about.
Do that one.
Oh, I'm with you.
What are you talking about?
No, I know.
It's the stupidest thing ever.
I love, though.
This is the thing I coach all my actors on because I have had a bunch of people who do non-union Super Bowl commercials, but then they say Super Bowl.
And I'm like, oh, they can afford to pay you.
They can afford to pay you.
They can afford to pay that.
You need to re-go-shy.
But that's the difference, right?
It's the difference.
It's the, I've hated.
I've complained about it for years.
I hate it.
I hate it.
I hate the only way you'll ever hear me say it is if a sponsor is asking and saying,
hey, can you please say it?
No, of course.
You guys are partners.
You're asking us to and we're promoting your spot.
That's the difference.
But I hate it.
I don't know if it makes me a little tired or a little stupid.
But like when she was like, oh, it's copyrighted.
I thought like the big game was.
And I was like, prize picks copyright the big game.
And that's why they're having you say that.
That's interesting.
It seems like a what does.
Let's see how that works out for him, Cotton.
I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, but now I understand what you're saying.
An Ocho reference, yes.
Apparently, apparently, by the way, before we get into the Super Bowl stuff that I wanted to, Luke just said me things.
Apparently, going back to Supergirl real quick.
Apparently, there was like a little Supergirl 30 second teaser, some stuff that we've seen before, but including what we just saw.
So maybe that's kind of what they were trying to do.
So let's, let's now, let's now react.
to that.
Okay.
Let's check that shit out.
Let's go.
Where is it?
Hold on.
And see.
All right.
Here we go.
Didle d'iddle.
All right.
You guys can see that.
Yes?
Yep.
All right.
Guardians four.
Wait.
Oh,
oh, it's frozen.
I don't see anything.
Yeah.
Tough shit.
I can.
Well.
Zah.
It shows up.
Yeah, same stuff.
That's exactly what it was.
So for people who could see it or couldn't see it, it just stopped.
I don't give a shit.
So it basically, it's all the same moments.
What is today's show?
It's all the same moments.
Christian is so pissed about all the snowy has to shovel.
He's just taking it.
It's like it's not, it's not, if it was a bigger thing, it's like it's all the stuff
that we'd see before except with the lobo side of it and she reacts it.
Who cares?
Anyway, so let's just get into the Super Bowl stuff because that was that was a waste of time.
Okay.
So let's get to where the hell did I go?
So I'm there's going to be, you know, I was talking to Luke about this as I was coming into the studio today.
And my studio and especially on, well, no, because it won't be snowing at that point.
When's one Super Bowl, once in February 6th.
February 3rd.
Third, thank you, Chris.
So February 3rd, the way.
that I'm going to look at this because there's a lot of there's a lot of trailers that usually drop
during Super Bowl however recently those trailers have usually dropped like the Friday before Super Bowl
over the last couple of years they don't really premiere too many trailers anymore at the actual
Super Bowl so if that is indeed the case then I probably won't be doing videos on that day
because I'm not going to drive to the studio.
It's like 20 minutes away from my house.
Unless we find out that there are trailers that are coming out that day that I, you know,
and then we'll see.
What's up, Chris?
I might have been wrong.
I said February 3rd very confidently and now the Chesson.
February 8th.
Okay.
Well, you did say very confidently.
Yeah.
I was really proud of myself.
Sorry, you guys.
You convinced me.
Yeah, because the third is a Tuesday.
That's true.
Super Bowl Tuesday.
Super Bowl Tuesday, that's right.
Well, let's get into some of the potential trailers and things that they are going to show, and we can discuss it.
So let's take a look at what could be coming out.
Or maybe I guess this is even maybe the ones that are confirmed, right?
Six Blockbuster previews that you can't miss.
Toy Story 5.
That's one to react to, not one that I necessarily ride off.
off 20 minutes just to go see and to do a reaction to because I don't know if people would
really care to see my opinion on it. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. But that's number one.
Number two, six major trailers. Where is it? Hold on a second. Oh, this is the latest trailer
prediction. These are just predictions. So the predictions, let me bring that up. Hold on.
And I don't know. I guess there's nothing confirmed yet. You guys can tell me otherwise,
but from what I hear, there's nothing yet.
And here it is.
All right.
So Toy Story 5 could be a new TV spot or a new trailer.
Avengers Doomsday.
A new official trailer, that's going to be the big one.
If they don't, if they don't drop it on actual, you know, a couple of days beforehand,
then obviously I'll be driving in for that one.
This is stupid to me, but only a TV spot from Mandelaarion and Grogo.
There should be a full trailer.
A movie comes out in May.
Put a trailer out already for it.
What are you hiding?
It's not as special as you think it is.
Mario Galaxy TV spot.
Another one was that Disclosure Day TV spot.
Minions 3 official trailer,
Scary Movie 6 official trailer,
Scream 7, potential trailer,
and then an unofficial or whatever,
the upcoming Paramount animation.
So that's just a couple of predictions there.
And I'm going to go back to that actual article
and see what that article says.
Give me a moment.
Because so far,
like doomsday to me seems the only one
that people are going to be losing their minds about
people will be interested in the other ones but losing their minds
about I think that one
let's say six major trailers
said
nothing else
no it said okay
so again
anything that you guys think
I mean why wouldn't you
why would you just do a TV spot for Mandelarian Grogo
why wouldn't you use that time
they already put a trailer out or was it just a teaser
it was a little stinky
trailer that they debuted a year
and a half ago at D23 or celebration or something.
That's silly.
That's silly.
Silly.
They're still treating it like it's Star Wars of 2015.
It isn't.
They're treating it like a TV show.
And it's going to be on the big screen.
So then treat it again like an event.
Make it a big deal.
Right.
It's like you're not excited.
How am I going to be excited?
Right.
It's a Super Bowl.
It comes out in May.
It's one of the first big movies.
Show me what this movie's about.
Nobody knows what it's about.
Well, we're just confident.
Mandelaary and Grogo.
They'll sell tickets.
And they might be right to a lot of people,
but to some people,
it's like,
what's this about?
So that,
you have,
you have a chance to,
it's a Star Wars movie.
You have a chance to promote Star Wars during the Super Bowl.
What are you doing?
Yeah.
TV spot.
Oh.
No,
they need to do it.
I always go back to my dad is kind of my like,
outside the bubble guy.
He loves the Mandalorian.
He has a bunch of Mandoo merch.
He like has done,
this is the way in legal talk presentations.
Wow.
Just recently was like,
oh,
it's going to be a movie this time.
That's pretty cool.
Right.
Didn't even know.
Right.
And the other side of it is, is Doomsday, this should have been the topic.
This should have been the topic, Ted, the main topic.
Is putting Doomsday trailer, full trailer before a full Spider-Man trailer, a mistake?
Hmm.
Because that's coming out first.
Right.
Um, the only reason I'm going to say no.
Is it a mistake for Sony, I guess?
That's what I was going to say.
I think.
Disney's on a different kind of timeline.
Maybe Spider-Man isn't quite ready yet for them to do that.
And I think just because Doomsday has really at this point already gotten into full-swing marketing.
I mean, it is early marketing, but they've already, like, doing those teasers before Avatar,
by doing the chairs months before that and all of the talk about it as a whole,
I think that that's Disney being like, no, we know what the thing is going to be right now.
Yeah.
So if you're, I think you're right.
I think of the fact that Sony's not pushing back on them to be like, uh, hello is,
is a little weird.
Because Chris, you could see Disney saying, yeah, we're going to spend the money at Super Bowl.
We're going to promote our movie.
You guys want to do it?
Go ahead.
promote your movie too.
We're, we're behind you.
It's our character.
It's our story.
But we're promoting our movie.
We're going to promote our thing.
What are you guys going to do?
And Sony's like, nah, we're not spending the money on it.
I think it's a mistake, especially when that movie is coming out first.
But the counter to that is that Spider-Man might not need it, not that Doomstay does,
but I don't think Spider-Man really needs it.
What do you think?
I think Spider-Man definitely has more of a draw right now than our general kind of Marvel character verse.
That being said, I do think they'd still benefit from what so many other companies do,
of just doing something that's so quickly a QR scan or a head to this,
you know, one of those kind of things that gets everyone who pulls their phone out and goes,
oh, I can scan this and see some other image or see more at this.
I think the two of them can just kind of, you know,
ride off of each other's fumes.
They can draft off of one another.
Right.
So it seems odd to not have both in the mix personally.
Yeah, especially when we don't, and we don't really know where Spider, what the,
what's going on with Spidey, right?
I mean, I think the Spider-Man trailer will probably drop not too soon.
after Super Bowl. So I don't really think
that it's going to hurt.
Did they confirm that those are going to
be the six trailers? Or this is all...
No, no, no. That's all those. That's speculation.
So I could be... Then watch it be Spider-Man.
What? Then watch it be Spider-Man, and it is a doomsday.
I just think enough people have done the research in the scoop
world that I think we know
about that. But maybe you're right.
It could very well be. I just
look, what I hope that I can do.
I can't tell you how much
I want to eat my words about
like Star Wars. Like I want to be so wrong about Star Wars. I want to I want to say like guys,
not only was I wrong about them not showing a full trailer. It was awesome. And I'm so excited about
this movie now. Like I don't know what I was thinking. I don't know why I wasn't excited before.
And man, look at, they just made this new announcement of Flan he's doing. I'm so excited for this guy.
I want to be excited for this. I'm not, but I want to be. Contrary to beliefs. So let's,
let's hope that there is a full trailer instead of just someone said, you can see Grogo with a
lightsaber.
Bo.
Bo.
Desperate.
Don't do that.
I hope you're wrong.
You might be right.
I'm booing you because I think you may be right.
So we'll see.
Anyway, we'll see what kind of trailers we do get and how long the trailers will be.
Only time we'll tell.
What do you guys think?
Put your thoughts out there.
You think that it's going to be some good trailers, bad trailers?
what kind of trailers what say you put your thoughts in there let us know uh okay
i think that's really it right now well i mean it really is uh
kind of grasping straws right now with stuff that is i guess with well yeah this showed
the jason moa thing there's he man stopped that's not really common with the way and then yeah
that was it so okay what we'll do is i'll tell you i mentioned prize picks i'll tell you about
price picks and then we're going to come and see if the capes and cal's crew can take on steff sa bra
let's do it um okay yeah chris i just saved your life and sent you one of the best
clips you're ever possibly going to see and i send it to winston as well i'm so excited it's so good
it's really really good where did you just i love a poop joke yeah i'm i'm i'm seized i'm easy
i almost you know what i want to do yeah chris so why don't you do me if you put yourself on
mute. Okay. And just watch the opening minute of it with yourself on mute of that clip I sent you.
And then I just, I'll watch your reaction. I'm saying guys, I sent it to the, the mic bed clip.
I send it to them both in the private chat. So, um, where, so I watch it right now.
Yeah, you guys want to, you know, why do you guys watch it together on it, to give yourselves
on the count of three, two, one, push play. Okay. I'll talk to the audience, while you guys put
yourselves on mute so we don't hear the I don't know if I would hear your
your let me hit play do I hear your audio on the video I'm playing right now
oh no I can't okay so never mind so good so keep your audio up so then you know what
don't don't play and on the count of three I'll do one two three you guys push play together
you'll be in sync and then we'll get your live reaction as you're watching it okay and we'll
only watch like the first two minutes of it or whatever too and then you'll have a little
reference we're talking about the you guys both have already on three
two, one, push play.
All right, so they're going to be watching the clip.
And we'll see the...
Immediately.
Please tell me you didn't take him off screen.
You'll see.
It gets better and better.
It's so good.
it's one of the best clips of all time
storming back and forth
it's the best
all right push pause push pause you guys can watch the rest of it later
but like it's that's that's so now
so now you have more reference when
did you shit in there
it's the best it's the best
and it gets better and better and it's like a five minute clip
It gets better and better or better.
Okay.
That's so good.
Let's see.
Now, you guys, 107 is what we're trying to tie here today.
You're at 26.
Not bad to start.
Let's start.
Hotel nerd.
Have you heard the rumor that Disney fired Ruffalo because of Golden Globes
and reshooting Spider-Man four scenes with different actor?
Be safe.
20 inches here, at least Central PA.
Oh, be safe here.
20 inches here in Central Pennsylvania and negative in the singles as well.
Yeah, I heard that too.
It's crazy weather.
Crazy.
something, there's anywhere between potentially four to six inches to a foot and to two feet here.
I don't know if it's true.
We'll see.
We'll see.
So now when it comes to Mark Ruffalo, if there's ever been rumors that you can say are super false and not true, it's that one.
There's no world where Disney is going to fire Ruffalo because of those comments with the,
of other comments that have been out there and other things that have said and he's making a
statement at a red carpet that that is a a grossly false uh rumor yeah yeah and the amount of money
would cost to take him out of there right now all of that yeah and the lawsuit that would come
from from that so no that would be that that would be uh yeah there's no world with that happen
uh peter acklin what unused marvel character would you like to see enter the mccu in their own
movie or show. Here's hoping that Wonder Man doesn't suck. I don't think it's going to suck.
I think that here's hoping it does well in the ratings is more so what you should say.
But what do you guys say? Unused Marvel characters. This is
Bumpincah. That's a good question.
Blade.
That's true.
Savage.
Man, I mean, unused.
in terms of like what we've seen in live action.
I really want Mero in the X-Men.
Mm-hmm.
There's a dope.
There'll be super dope.
Mr. Sinister, there you go.
Mr. Sinister, absolutely.
Hey, Mr. CJ.
I wish I knew.
Big Gill Studios.
Hey, from Illinois here,
it's negative eight with wind.
It feels like negative 35.
I prefer snow than this.
Oh, my God.
But I saw somewhere, I saw somewhere,
I saw somewhere like negative 35.
She's like, is that, is that possible?
Is that happening?
States. Oh, yeah, negative 35
at one place. Hey, man, I just, I'm
trying to tell you all, Brody. Like, I mean, I've already tried to call
as a matter of fact, this bachelor party I was talking about,
a lot of them are coming from back home from Texas. They left a day
early because of this whole thing. You're like, we might not be able to leave.
So they, they just went and booked an extra day at the hotel
just because of that. So, yeah,
I don't, I don't blame them whatsoever.
because that's what I would do if I was
Cady and every city's like let's try to get to warm weather I'm like
we're in drives to warm weather
That's a lot of driving because isn't it like destroying
Not destroying but isn't it like essentially affecting
Everything from like Texas all the way up to
There's no there to go you you hunker into your house
That's good. There's nowhere to go
Connor Mullis
Hello friends I'm cold time to start day drinking
I will drink the almighty bush light
So Chris so delicious

i get it all right uh nathan any worry about christina hotson running batman yes who is that
she wrote bumblebee right uh birds of prey the flash um she was also in the blacklist in
2012.
Which is funny because, Chris, I didn't hate the Flash as much as you did.
And I don't think that the writing was necessarily the big problem with the Flash.
I had some problems with the writing, but it was mostly with the ending and the visual effects
really took me out.
That's what I mean.
The ending of the script was probably a bunch of notes, honestly.
The essence of the story, I didn't have an issue with as much.
Didn't really see Birds of Prey.
I got bored with it and turned it off.
I liked it.
I know most people don't.
Yeah.
Pat girl, she wrote, we don't know.
how that went.
But there was other things I read yesterday
and I was just like,
Bumblebee was good.
I like Bumblebee.
Bumblebee was her Mona Lisa.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't, I'm not familiar
with shut in.
That's the one that was the blacklist pick.
Okay.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Rubby M. 1327,
great to catch you guys live,
which means I'm watching.
We're working overtime until midnight.
Hope you guys have a great day.
Oh, hang in there.
For real.
Zerogi
Have you guys ever seen the funny
Hey, yeah, yeah on YouTube, my introduction to He Man?
They even used it in a new animated teenage
Ninja Trow. No, I've never seen it. Is it funny? Oh, I don't know.
It's so great. Okay.
Did you guys like the trailer? The what?
The trailer? I haven't seen it. I haven't watched it still. Yeah.
I think, I feel like you both would like it.
That's that based off of what people are saying, I feel like I would too.
And I, it sounds like they're kind of going
what I heard someone text me
that they're kind of going the Barbie route
of like no no
not in that like he man is on his own world
and then coming to earth
yeah sure I mean in the same way
the Matrix or or like you know
Superman like that type of thing but it's
it's a little there's some goofy stuff that happens
on the earth stuff that I didn't like and I wish it wasn't
happening but the stuff in an attorney
they're taking it way more serious
I'd go more Ragnarok than I would like Barbie
okay yeah
Connor Mullis
Some words of wisdom
In heaven there is no beer
That's why we drink it here
I love that
And Connor says it wasn't Mike's dog
That shit his bed
Damn and then they got the dog blamed
Yeah
Did you shit in there?
God damn it Connor
What a way to assert your dominance Connor
Dang
It was like a mountain lion
The dog was the fall guy
That's the bullshit
There was some dog shit
That's human shit
Nathan Drake
Should Sidney's Tweeney
Have been Laura Croft
no because we're boobs you you you're too you by the way i i am i would need to be on the show
more because look i when i you and rocmont on because you guys are so unnecessarily unfair to that
woman it's unbelievable like you're talking about with like she was so look and i was never a
offender of sydney's i never seen her anything really she was so good in christie she was
so good in that movie like and i think she's one of the political politics politics i don't care
about that no no i'm not her politics
politics out in what you know just in general i think hurt her campaigning for an
Oscar um and the fact that it did very well it didn't do very well those two things too um
but i thought she was very good in it but uh yeah you guys that movie house made the movie's made
almost 200 million dollars i still haven't seen it so i can i didn't that's why i said i can't speak
on it if anything i called out roca i was like roga how you going to keep shitting on the house made
you ain't seen it bro you can't do that but what i have seen it but what i have
said, and I continue to say, and until I see it differently, I'm going to say this, I think her highs,
when she needs to be very emotional, so very angry, very sad, very scared are fantastic. It's actually
really good. My problem is, is when she just needs to have a regular ass conversation, I'm like,
ma'am, are you here? Like, I don't believe her anymore, and it get fully pulled out of it. And
for me, the moments where she was shit talking the other boxers, or she was obviously
dealing with the horrible domestic violence or anything like that.
I was like, God damn, she is crushing this.
But when she had to like sit at the table with her family and have dinner and have a conversation,
I was like, no.
Like that's my issue.
Her highs are great.
It's her mids and lows that I'm like, eh.
That's fair.
I don't mind her.
Lara Croft is also English.
And so I'd want somebody who's really great with dialects taking on that role if they're
not an actual Brit.
Her work in Eden was not particularly great with her doing something on American,
not American.
Yeah.
And yeah, I feel like a lot of people, and we're all guilty of this, where we go with the aesthetic a lot of times for a character.
I mean, we talk about it all the time with Gene Gray or with Gwen Stacy or any of these other characters.
But Laura Croft, I think we kind of go back to those early renderings of Lara Croft and go, she's an explorer, she's got a gun, and she stacked.
And there's this triangle boobs.
Yeah.
I want triangle boobs.
You can get fake boobs.
You can put fake boobs on anybody.
you can put a stuffed bra on any human being.
So we want the acting to be there too, at least.
And she could do well in a different role, just maybe not this one.
I wonder how we're going to do with, I mean, I like so.
I mean, look, I'm on a Game of Thrones kick right now.
So Sophie Turner's the right choice for me.
It's guess like I, because I'm, she's, she was really, she was, I think she's underrated
to Sonsa.
But she's really good.
Yeah, yeah, no, she was.
Sons is just, she just tends to be unlikable, but she plays that role.
At first, though, when you watch, like at first, like, at first, like,
Like when you're watching, she's so like when you see what she, what she, she to me has so much
development, even through season, already.
There's so much development with her.
Like there's, I'm, we're right in that moment where, you know, Joffrey has now said, no thanks.
I'm going to marry somebody else.
And she's in court.
She's like, oh, man, she turns around.
She's like, yes.
Like, she's so happy that, you know, at this moment.
And she's like, you see the building of her and there's, I don't know, something about her.
I think that people, I think she got the short end of the stick and praise.
Sure.
I agree with that.
No, she, she did.
And it's, I think it's just that.
I think she was a spoiled little rich girl to start the show.
Yeah.
So you need, like, you don't want her to go through all of the shit that she goes through.
No, in a time of wake up call.
Yeah.
And once that happens, you start to go from God, I can't stand you to, God, damn, girl, I'm so sorry.
Right.
Exactly.
Right.
Yeah.
But, Sweenie, Sweeney, I'd like to see her in something.
actiony later on where she actually gets to do something cool.
I just don't think this is the role.
She's great and other stuff.
She's fantastic in that Glenn Powell rom-com.
She's so fun.
I like that movie.
Oh, I thought she did exactly what she was supposed to do.
I thought Glenn Powell carried, like he put her on his back and started running.
Yeah, you hate, you hate Sydney, Sweeney.
That's not true.
You're the only person that has said that.
Glenn Powell carrying anybody.
Yoshimitsu 5537, Daphne Kine, should have been,
Laura Croft.
Daphne Kien,
I've been a good one.
Yeah,
I could have seen her in that role.
Easily.
Eric Henderson.
Hey,
everyone, Chris,
remember when you were on Campi
and the complaint on Fallout
was it was dumped all at once
and forgotten.
Now that it's weekly,
the shows I watch,
Harleaf and Campia aren't talking about it.
It is,
so they put,
Fallout is weekly now,
I guess.
It is weekly.
Eric,
do you want to talk about it?
Yeah, go ahead.
I'll talk about it.
Yeah.
I'm really enjoying it.
I like it.
weekly release.
All right, moving on.
I'm just kidding.
The issue with the binge format a lot of times is we talk about it right then and there.
And then we get new content.
So we don't keep talking about it.
We talk about it for a week and then we don't.
So at least in my personal life, my experience right now is my friends keep doing the on the group chain.
Hey, have you caught up on Fallout?
Hey, did you see the latest episode?
So I'm enjoying the weekly drops personally.
But if that's not for you and you're bummed out that you're missing it out on these kind of channels, send in more superchats about it.
We can talk about it more.
Uh-huh.
Wow, wow.
Way to talk about the big game.
No, but I, I'm, we were just debating this in pre-production for a Blurred episode, Blurors in the hood, 6pm on Wednesdays.
Don't miss it.
But I, I, I really feel the only things for me that work as a full binge, drop it all at once are reality TV and something that's just not good.
So you kind of want to just get it over with.
don't love the idea of doing that.
If you're going to, if you really want to sort of do that and best of both worlds it,
then chunk it.
So kind of what stranger things did.
Or I guess even what Fallout did previously where I did what like three episodes and then two and two and two or something like that.
You know what I mean?
But yeah, I prefer the weekly model still.
Me too.
I have something to look forward to.
Me too.
Facility guy, call it the superb.
Oh, nice.
Very nice.
Like on shadows.
Hey, Mr.
C.J.
Coming in late today,
Cape's and Cal's prep,
your tantal.
Yeah, I know.
No, no, no, 10th one.
Tent to one?
Tenton.
It's Tantan.
It's Tantan.
I was like, what is happening?
I was, I was also like,
oh my God,
Chris is having to broke.
No, I know.
I wish I knew.
I'd like to do that.
Sometimes I did that to,
um,
my,
my little one,
give me something.
It was something so simple.
And I just give it a difference.
She's,
dad, it's this.
I go, no, no, it's this, it's this.
But no, prep your tantal on, Christian.
I will, I prep the tantal on this week, and I will be, I'll see you in hell.
Facility guy, call it the Super Bowl.
Lingu, like, oh, oh, what happened to those super chats?
Now they're gone.
Hold on, there they go.
Okay.
I refer to the Super Bowl as the human puppy bowl.
I mean, the Puppy Bowl is the best.
Yep.
That's what I like to watch.
Which, Chris, you know that the, they put the puppy bowl,
they've started doing it before now, but they put the puppy bowl as like half-time.
show for the Super Bowl and the
halftime show for the
Pubby Bowl is the Kitty Bowl.
Where's a bunch of cats? Yeah. It's a bunch of little
kitties then running around and like and now for your
halftime entertainment, the kitty bowl. And then they
just run out and they're just like, I have
that makes sense. It's amazing. Yeah, smart.
Counter, counter program.
I need to stop going to Super Bowl parties. They make me watch the game.
Unheard, Sirens
Incorporated, 2036. Just do
like what we do in the shadows and call it the
Super Bowl. There you go.
Connor Moles became a new member. Perfect time to do it.
We got that we have that live stream that's coming up.
It's an exclusive once a month live stream where at a certain tier you come in.
You can be part of it.
You can join via video and you can ask a question and we do a full live stream.
So if you're a member, you should take advantage of that.
We also do unedited reactions that we put up there.
Winston, you know, somebody yesterday, very good suggestion, by the way.
And I wanted to see what you thought of this was that they thought about it making the rest of Demon Slayer
exclusive to
Patreon and membership by not be not doing
an editor, an edited version of it, just doing
unedited. So that way, I'm just paying you. I'm not paying the
editors to do you. That's where we lose the money.
Pretty smart. Yeah. So maybe then if people
really, for those people who really want to see it and watch with us,
then they can watch the full unedited version with us. That's not a bad idea.
Yeah. So maybe we do it that way.
If people want to do that.
Yeah. All right. Mad Dog 14, 24. I don't think there's superhero fatigue. We'll get invincible in the boys. I think it's Disney and James Gunn fatigue. Well, there's clearly there's clearly superhero fatigue. I couldn't disagree with that more.
Those shows also kind of take the Mickey out of the superhero stuff. Like that's the whole point of the boys is that Garth Ennis hates superhero stories.
And it's also that is a great point. And it's also because those two shows, what are you measuring the volume of?
of people that are watching.
You got to remember, in television,
you only need a certain number to say,
oh, we're satisfied with that number,
and that is quantified as,
like, a hit.
But that's a fraction of what you need
for, like, movies in the overall grand scheme of things.
And I circle back to, again,
I don't think it is so much superhero fatigue
as it is subpar.
That's 100% it is.
Yeah, it's a lot of fatigue.
I think all of these things,
it's repetitive fatigue.
If you were recycling story beats, if you were recycling all sorts of stuff and it doesn't feel original and it doesn't capture people's attention, that's why people aren't messing with it.
Yeah, it's for me when I hear people, it's like the regular average day person that goes to the movie theater and decides what they're going to see.
The people that I talk to aren't rushing out to see comic book movies the way that they were five, six years ago.
Because from what I asked them, it's the same thing over and over again.
There's nothing really new.
It's the same type of thing.
There's no real excitement to get them in the theater.
And to me, that's fatigue.
So you can't judge it on the boys and that.
And it's certainly not Disney and James Gunn fatigue.
I mean, James Gunn just had a successful, you know,
monetarily movie that came out in July.
So you can't, it's not James Gunn fatigue.
I mean, you could say, if you were going to use an example of, you know,
Kevin Feigy or whatever maybe,
but I wouldn't agree with that.
It's like,
I don't think it's one person.
It's,
as Winston said,
you just want good stuff.
SJC. 360.
Can someone explain why YouTube thumbnails have
people's mouths open?
Look silly,
but I'm sure there's a reason.
Well, first of all,
a lot of those times,
like,
there are some people who pose for it.
When you see mine,
it's the middle of a reaction.
I screenshot and I send it to Luke.
Like, that's really happening.
The same thing with Sam,
but I understand the dislike for it
because there's things on,
Instagram and other things that I can't stand that people do for trans.
I understand what they do.
Like, I hate like the creepy, freaky Instagram videos and it's the same song.
It's the stupidest song.
And I hate it every time they use it.
I don't know what you're talking about.
If you hear it's like, did you know this creepy moment?
They use the same generic.
And it's like and for the sad and happy upbeat, they use the same song.
Everybody uses the same song.
And it's like, it's like, oh, it's like, I get it.
You want me to be so excited that you're giving $1,000 to somebody in a Walmart,
and you're probably taking it back five seconds later.
You know, it's like, so it's, you know, those things, you know me too, so I get it.
Well, I mean, I was going to say, I got to talk to Luke.
I know I'm still wearing my capes and cow shirt, but you pick the most,
I look like I'm stoned out of my mind photo and put it on the thumbnails every time.
Like, go look at the thumbnail right now.
He just needs new pictures.
He only has a certain.
Yeah, I've got to send some pictures.
Yeah, you guys, that's that, if anybody has complaints about, just send them pictures.
I only took so many when I was in L.A.
Connor Mollis,
Winston, is it true that you hate Captain Crunch cereal?
Sorry if that's too political.
Hell no.
I love Captain Crunch, bro.
Like, when everybody's bitching about how it'll be cutting the roof of your mouth,
I'm like, do you not know how to eat?
It's not that hard.
Like, what are we talking about?
Captain Crush that shit, no.
All right, let's see.
So now, Seattle, K.O.
Supporting Chris and Winston.
crunchy or creamy peanut butter.
Creamy all day.
Yeah.
Oh, it depends on what I'm eating it with.
I'm just eating it out of the jar, creamy.
Yeah, good answer.
Hotel nerd.
This weekend, I'm going to either end up being a rich genius or only a 12 cents.
I bet 12 cents on UFC undergrodogs to win and could have 880, 880.89 winnings.
One can dream. That's, I mean, no way.
What are these?
Because I'm actually, so what my boy wants to do for his bachelor party, he wants to,
to, we're going to the UFC fight.
So, like, I've never been to...
Are you going to the matches?
Oh, great.
I've never been to a, like, I've actually never been to a fight.
I've been to...
You've been to boxing matches?
Uh-uh.
Oh, wow.
Like, I used to do, like, karate back when I was younger, so I've been to, like, those,
but I've never been to a professional boxing match or anything.
You've see the energy in the UFC is great.
I've been a handful of times.
So are you going, um, which, which venue is it?
Is MGM?
I believe we're staying in MGM.
Oh, so I probably...
So yeah, it would probably be that.
Great. It's great. So
look, tell me what it is. I'll put 12
cents on all this shit and go become a
damn near millionaire. How are your seats?
I don't have the tickets.
The actual
soon-to-be groom.
Got them all and then we're just painting when we get there, so I'm
not sure. I almost went again.
You know, I've never been, because when I was
going, it was still illegal
at the garden.
In New York, it was still illegal. But now
it's legal and I was so
about this like Sarah had was going there to sign stuff and he was going to one of the
fights he asked me it was like a last minute thing if I could go with him and we would
have you know obviously pretty great seats but I couldn't go so I want to go next time is
there is there a prize picks I can do for for this fight yeah you probably definitely
you should look into it for sure I mean because it's they're doing that this is the debut
on Paramount Plus oh okay yeah that's probably a big deal Connery became a YouTube member
hell yeah Connery good time to do it Jim 1-242 sucks at Wonder Man's
being dumped over one week, especially as it can't compete against big shows like
9 of the 7 Kingdom and fallout for attention.
You know what's so funny about that is I was so curious how Knights was going to do,
or Knight was going to do.
Apparently it did very well in the ratings because like for reactions it did
his poor.
And sometimes when you look at that, that's usually, okay, the reactions will say people are really
interested in the show.
And then it shows in the ratings of the show too.
Wasn't the case this time.
The reaction ate farts, but the show did very well.
Oh, okay.
And I'll just be my reaction.
I'm just talking about reactions in general across the board.
But yeah, as far as they're competing, that goes back to the superhero fatigue thing.
It's like, are people like when you when you're pitching it, like if someone goes in the room goes, hey, Fred, I know you don't watch comic book shows, but you got to watch Wonder Man.
I'm all right.
You can see that conversation happening all over households.
unheard sirens incorporated
Mike's poop reaction is my reaction
my dog poop's on the floor but in my head it's not out loud
yeah yeah he doesn't sure
Ninja Cam when are we going to get that Spider-Man
brand new day trailer I would guess
and I'm going to tell you in February what do you guys think
what big events are coming out
recently they're not going to do it on a big event
you don't think so
I can't I mean unless it's like
I mean it'll be Comic-Con
but that's already that's
D23?
When's D23?
Soon.
Is it?
Sometimes it's April.
Sometimes it's October.
Most of the times it's October.
I'm not, I'm not, I thought it was, I thought they were doing it pre-common.
Maybe, maybe I'm not.
Usually it's October, but that's not to say that they didn't change it this year.
Oh, August.
Is it August?
Yeah.
It'll already be out.
So there's no really big events.
No.
So, February, I'd say February.
What do you guys say?
I mean, I would have, oh, oh, the big event, NBA All-Star game.
That is in February.
But I think they will probably air it during the NBA All-Star game.
Does Sony have a connection to the All-Star game?
No, but all of those major blockbusters, they have a tendency to anchor to one of those things.
Usually when they're, well, it's Star Wars and stuff.
And Marvel usually do it on the ABC event because it's Disney affiliate.
Well, right, because you can get it, you can get it for on the free, on the free, the cheap,
but I think just from the standpoint of like how many times like the NBA finals,
are happening and then you pair whatever superhero
or mega blockbuster movie is like oh
it'd be like to stop Megatron
when's the all-star game?
In like the weekend
after the Super Bowl.
So right so
okay I mean that's that's February
yeah no that's why I was saying I agree with him just as far as like
maybe so maybe around the same time could be
NBA all-star weekend is the 13th to the 15th
Crystal
would love
sorry I really
think it's going to be the NBA All-Star game because the NBA L-Star weekend is the weekend of
Valentine's Day and there are rumors about new love interest for Peter in there so you might tie it
into something like that.
Okay. Crystal, would love of Christian and Chris reacted to Doctor Who?
Christian, what the hell is this? And Chris explaining stuff to him.
Great show. I've been missing shows and busy. Well, you're back now. It's good to have you
back. Yeah, like I told you, Chris, I'd just be too intimidated to watch that show.
I understand that. But I feel like you can really jump in wherever.
Yeah, I just reactions, I don't think anybody would really tune into it.
I can just the whole time, I can wear my glasses and push them up anytime you have a question.
Yes.
Well, actually, if we go back to the sixth doctor, it'll be insufferable.
You know what reminds me.
I don't know why in this makes no sense.
But every time I think of Doctor Who, I think of Youhoo.
Like, I want a Yoohoo every time someone says, Dr. Who?
I want to drink a Yoohoo.
I haven't drank a Yoohoo in a long time.
We can facilitate that.
Okay.
Can you still get Youhoo?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Is this still out?
I got to go to a 7-Eleven.
You know, I've got to get one.
I've been talking about it forever.
I haven't had a U-Hoo.
It's got to be 15 years.
Do you like different flavor profile, but do you like sour stuff?
Depends on what it is.
You should check out the Powerade sour flavors, bro.
I am obsessed with the cherry.
A lot of sugar in it.
There is.
So there's that.
So don't, like, I primarily will either cut it.
Not that you who doesn't have a lot of sugar.
I'll either cut it or I honestly use it a lot of.
as like a, either a mixer or chaser.
Go pal.
I can't imagine, let me,
somewhere that gets way negative Fahrenheit on a regular basis.
Yeah, a lot of the stuff that's coming out
that's regular negative isn't a regular thing.
Like I saw some of this stuff.
Look, it's going to be like 12 here in where I live in a couple of days.
It never gets like that.
It's just this storm is just crazy.
Go pal.
My first year at CMU, we had two weeks with single digit highs and negative teen lows
and it almost killed me.
I know, we're going to be light and fire.
and just hugging with blankets in my house.
Dr. Doom, you'll see the new snippet of Lobo and Supergirl.
Yes, we saw it briefly.
Connor, God, these beers taste phenomenal.
I believe it.
I'm glad you did it.
So Eclipse was the gentleman who suggested the Patreon idea with Demon Sleger Winsome.
Oh, nice.
Smart move, Eclipse.
It was smart.
Coming from Dayton, Ohio, aside from being chilly, the sky is
still clear. I want some chili.
Hopefully our invite to the iceberg
lounge got lost in the mail.
Go pal.
Margaret Qualley and substance shows prosthetic
prowess. Yeah.
What is that?
What is that? They gave her some
fake headlights.
Yeah. Oh, okay.
Ah, okay. Are they triangular, though?
Who knows? They could be. That's what I'm
saying is the sky's the limit, you guys.
The things we can do.
question. Do you guys find it, is, was this at all petty or is it just me reading into things?
That stupid new show that's basically a rip-off of the substance that shows the beauty.
The beauty, I'll never watch it because it's a pure rip-off. I didn't realize that Ashton
Cushar was a producer on it. Shouldn't he be like, you know, my ex-wife did a movie just like this.
Maybe we don't do this movie. Or this show? Maybe that's why.
I'm saying. Is it a petty move? Petty.
I'm saying.
Yeah.
He doesn't need the money.
It's also, though, how long ago did the substance?
A year and a half ago?
Okay.
Because the other thing I was going to say is, are we sure this isn't like a,
this isn't like a friends with benefits, no strings attached scenario?
Same time.
Like same.
Maybe.
Because TV shows do take a little time to go from.
You're not wrong.
You're not wrong.
But I don't know, though.
It's like at that point, it's like, just scrap it.
The thing got nominated for everything.
Just scrap.
I mean, it is, it's the same.
thing, at least in the trailers.
I didn't see the show.
Is there a show come out already?
I believe it started.
Has anybody watched?
Someone says it's not a substance ripoff.
Oh, it's not?
It's a comic book.
Oh, it's based off of a comic.
So we should know that.
I know we should have covered it.
Look, we covered it on purpose.
So maybe I'm wrong.
Okay.
So look, the audience is saying, no, it's not a ripoff.
So there you go.
But I mean, it is regardless a very similar setup and story.
So I can absolutely understand that.
Yeah, okay.
Next one.
Nathan Drake, team that you hate more.
Patriots or Eagles?
Eagles.
The Eagles.
Because you know why that is?
Patriots.
Yeah, but do you know why?
And I don't know if it wasn't for, you know,
2007 and 2012 if I would feel that way.
If you guys hadn't beat them the Giants
have bitch slapped them twice like this.
That's probably true.
You know what it's funny?
I'm realizing I really hate them,
both. I think it was that era of the Patriots more so. I don't like them now, but I do like
Drake May and I do like Mike Rable enough that I'm like, I don't want them to win. There's nothing
that you could ever do to make us like the Phillies. I mean, the Eagles. The Eagles, nope, nope.
So, so the Eagles. My cousin was a cheerleader for the Patriots. Oh, see? And that's another reason
why to dislike the Eagles more. Yeah. Because, okay, go pal. Your Tonton will freeze before the
first marker maybe and you'll see you in hell. Jay Morgan, I finally watched a long walk,
brutal but good. So good. So good. Do you see it yet, Chris? I still haven't. I'm still nervous.
I read it. I read it and I'm just like, I got to pick a day to watch it.
Yeah, you should. Poulouza. Winston, Jiu-Jitsu, Kaysen popping off.
Yes, it is. It is fantastic.
Do I just have to, do I just have to hang in for this show?
Joe Winston because I watched the first three episodes.
I'm season one.
Please, please, please, please hang in.
I promise you.
I watched the first three episodes and I was like,
uh, trust me.
Trust me, trust me, trust me.
Because I actually decided to rewatch it and you're not wrong.
It definitely was a scenario.
Like, um, as I'm patiently waiting each week for the new episodes,
I was like, let me go make sure I remember everybody's name and their specific
power set and all that.
And it is a slow start as far as that goes.
But once you get to,
I want to say
if you're already at the third episode
you're getting pretty close to when
UG meets this like high school kid that's being bullied
and our emotional roller coaster
from there going forward.
All right, cool.
All right.
Next one after that.
And this is Gerard J.
Who says?
Oh, wait. You know what?
Sorry. Did I miss it?
Oh, no. I missed this. No, I got that with this one.
Okay. Yoshimitsu 5537. I highly recommend Daphne Keane in his dark materials,
Golden Compass TV series. She's a phenomenal actor in this whole show. She's great,
and she should have been the damn lead. That should have been the lead. They dropped the ball with that.
Draw J. W.B. had the perfect template to make a great flash movie, and that was the animated movie,
Flashpoint Paradox. Who would not want to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Batman? You guys both agree with that, huh?
The animated version is fantastic.
It's pretty close to the comic iteration.
I'm surprised they didn't go closer to that personally.
Same.
You guys are at 57, just 50 away from tying stuff.
Which I was going to tell you, Christian, just for reference as to how good it is,
the main storyline in that because everything has kind of gone sideways is Wonder Woman
and the Amazons are at full on a full on world war with Aquaman and the Atlantic.
And it's destroying the rest of the planet in the process.
Like it is very good.
It's probably why they didn't do it.
Money wise, probably couldn't.
But I don't know.
That movie wasn't cheap, the one that they did.
Eric Anderson, I love that Fallout is weekly now, but I wish my favorite
YouTubers were talking about it more.
One spoiler, Ron F. and Perlman.
Hey, dude.
He was so good.
He's so good.
Owen, he's been involved in Fallout since like 97.
Oh, has he?
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah.
I forgot about that.
Yeah.
little inside joke here. Nathan Drake
stopped spoiling Game of Thrones
for Sam during reaction, hilarious. So
there was, there's a moment. Now,
what's spoiling for these? People get so touchy
over there, over everything, right? So I
haven't watched a series since
it, at least it's season
one. I mean, I know certain moments and stuff, too.
But I haven't watched a series since it, like,
debuted on HBO back in like 2011
the first season or whatever it was.
So I was watching, and there's one moment.
Spoiler for people who haven't seen Game of Thrones.
I'm going to give a quick spoiler.
And I think I told you guys this last week.
There's an old man who is a Targaryian that is at the wall.
And he's talking to John.
And I completely had no, I forgot all about it, had no clue.
And I've been watching, you know, House of the Dragon and now watching,
Night of Seven's Kingdoms and learning all the, even more about the lore.
I'm so much more, I know more about the history of Westrose now than I did back then.
So when this guy's talking, I'd go, oh, man, he's a Targaryen.
I was reacting to it.
Like, don't tell shit.
and later you said it before she even noticed it and it's like I didn't even I didn't even I was reacting
to it that's what I was here for but because they've seen it before they automatically knew that I knew
and I was like I didn't so leave me to fuck alone I haven't seen it in so long I don't even know how
that's that much of a spoiler like it's like he's literally telling her he's like you said it
before he had a chance to it's like because I figured it out but it wasn't but it wasn't it wasn't the
the big reveal that happens in the later seasons, right?
It's just the random dude that's on the wall.
No, it's a guy who's, my history is I'm a Targaryen.
And they're like, the thing is you're leading or in this.
I'm like, I'm like, dude, get out of here.
But I also did say to some people, I'll be careful with certain things that I say,
because I don't want to, I wanted to experience it on the way through.
So there was a lot of times I 100% understood that.
But the one thing I'll never, I will never bend the knee to, as they say in Westrose.
If you come to my channel and are asking for,
less jokes, go find another channel because there's no world where Sam and I are going to sit there
and not crack jokes and they're, and they're inappropriate, they're made for 12 year olds and I love it.
I would assume that's, that is part of the reason why Sam became the star that she is,
is because she is charming as shit with the random shit she says.
100%.
And we were, there was like the, there's a moment.
I think it was it today?
It might have been today's episode where it wasn't it Marjorie.
Do you guys remember the one?
It was, right?
The Red Witch, right?
The one who marries Johnford.
Yeah.
So not the Red Witch.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
I know you're talking to.
Yo, she's fine as fuck.
She's in the first Avenger.
She's the one that kisses Steve and then and then Carter's like, oh, all right.
Right, right, right.
So what's her name in the show?
People will tell me quickly.
Marjorie Tyrell?
Yes, Marjorie Tyrell.
It was Marjorie.
All right.
So Marjorie at one.
In today's episode, the ones we watch, she has, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, what do you
refer? You prefer this dress or this? And the first thing I say, it's like, you want my vote?
That's the kind of stuff you're going to get. You know, I go, am I going to, you want me to do this?
I guess for that scene I could, but there's other times, we're going to talk.
So we're going to do.
So people who get it.
You got my vote.
That's good, bro.
And I said it quick.
I said, do you want my vote?
And Sam lost it.
So that's the kind of shit we're going to do.
I don't know because the other part about it that that's funny to me is like then I'm like,
do you actually even know who Christian is?
Because my man got started doing stand up.
You think he's not going to like make everything a joke?
I don't know.
But I'm also like, you have this 87.
thousand reactions on of game of throads it's like why do you want the same thing from everybody i was just
going to say why wouldn't you want someone to react then just go watch the show yourself right and i'm not
and i'm not going to like so when again i'm not going to spoil any details from it but when the red
wedding shows up i'm not going to be cracking jokes during the red wedding you know you got to pick and choose
your moment you know ouch oh bro i literally do you watch do you watch
Abbott Elementary.
So,
where's what I would tell people about that?
I would tell people
who've never seen it
to watch it and watch it weekly
and support Abbott Elementary.
Go ahead, Winston.
That's the show.
I was just going to say,
I would be the type of person
that, like, after the Red Wedding is over,
I would just like do a Mr. Johnson
to be like, man, I'm not cleaning all this shit up.
Like, just something along those legs.
Like, it's just.
Yeah, exactly.
So that's what I tell you, but it's also becoming a bit to address it more.
And you got, you guys especially know me better than when people tell me not to do something that I do it more.
Absolutely.
So like the opening theme song is fleet-do-de-do-de-do-do-de-do-de-le.
Like, don't do fleet-l-le-de-le.
And I go, you know what, I'm not going to do it anymore.
So I fleet-o-de-de-da-da.
Right into it.
And so that's what I like to do.
And so when people tell me not to do jokes, I'm going to do more jokes.
This is what I like to do.
One of the favorite things at the comedy store was at one point, we'd be in a room.
And people say, let's see that those people have been assholes all night.
Let's see if we can tell the worst jokes to walk them.
And that's what I'm trying.
I'm trying to walk the audience.
Dude, which is funny to me because like that that is also a thing.
If people be going to comedy clubs now just to get angry.
And I'm like, why are you here?
Just go home.
100%.
All right, let's see. Let's go to, let's go to that last one, hard.
We got the chilly one.
Okay, did that one, sorry.
Just going back.
What was the last one?
Oh, it was that spoiler one.
Okay.
All right.
So now the G-Man, 8119.
Hey, everyone's some support.
I'm in the path of Snowmageddon.
So busy at work to cover for Monday plan to watch One Battle in Centers tomorrow.
Enjoy both.
Congrats, Delroy Linden on an Oscar nom.
Yeah, he's one of the ones that it was a surprise that I thought was great.
And there was some that I thought people got snubbed completely by it.
But he's, I'm glad he got in there.
I didn't know he was British.
I had no idea that he was British, bro.
It blew my mind because then they were like, oh, congrats on the, to the, you know,
him and the one that plays Annie being like, oh, the only two Brits to get a nomination this year.
and I was like,
I'm going to wait.
Oh my God,
this man is British.
Yeah,
he's really good.
He's real good.
All my favorites ever.
Who's,
he's,
yeah,
and he's,
that's a good one too.
I think that,
I'm telling you,
I think there's only a few locks.
There's four locks,
I think.
I think,
if you're going to Vegas,
the locks,
one battle for best pitcher.
I think,
Timothy Shalamee for best actor,
uh,
Paul Thomas Anderson,
for a,
a director and and what's her and uh and oh my god i'm singing her praises jesse buckley for
best i think the only one that feels like a true lock is jesse buckley to be honest with you i think
i think there's a very very high probability for the other three that you said but she's the only
one that i would literally put all my money on if it hadn't been if it hadn't been for um
the previous awards and everything else too i would agree with that but right now it's just it's all
and it's all in the same way.
Totally understand. I totally understand.
I think what's throwing me off is
the sheer number of
nominations, for example, that sinners
got the fact that like
God, what was the one that just
happened where somebody did get a surprise win
over somebody else who was supposed to win or had
been winning, because I know it can change.
Jacob Alorty had a surprise win as best
supporting because of splitting the votes. Best supporting actress
so I didn't include it in there. I think that's not a lock.
But I think people
keep talking. And look, sinners deserve
get as many nominations that it did, but everyone's talking about the 16
nominations. The nominations that they got were other
building noms, like the best supporting actor was one that no one saw
coming. The other one's best picture was already, they knew that was
coming. We knew that was coming. Best director knew that was coming. These other
things are coming. It doesn't mean that they're going to win it because
they were nominated. And the other, and this is, and the other thing
that also went in there was one battle after another had like 14
or 13 or something. So it only had like two or
three less than no no no for sure i think one of the ones that that surprised people is i believe well like
i was actually surprised uh i'm happy for but i was surprised the tiana taylor won um she wanted
you're right which you what i'm saying like there was enough of a wait wait wait wait what like
golden gloves you can't golden gloves you got to be careful with because they split like
rose burn won for best comedy there's no world where rose burn wins anything at the oscar it's the only
reason that they did is because she won because they could split this off and that movie's not even a
comedy but i think we all agree and we said this the other day chase infinity her her her public
her her her team did her her her um the studio did her wrong they should not have run her as best
actress she was a supporting role and she probably would have won the damn thing if they
if they would have run her did they run her for best that's actress
across all of these.
They were running her for best actress on everything,
and that's why she got shut out of this one.
I just, I would, I would,
I would art as good as she is and how key to the story
she is, I would almost make the argument
that Sean Penn was more of a lead than she was in that regard.
100%.
It was really a Leo movie and then,
and then Penn right after.
And again, not because she wasn't good.
She was a standout.
She was one of the best things in the whole movie,
but it wasn't a lead performance,
and it didn't, yeah.
I think maybe just they were trying to stop
the potential of her and
Tiana cannibalizing each other.
That's right.
And that's what's the conversation, but I think
100%. And look at what the argument would be
because look what's happening with Sean and
Benicio, which I get, but it's like.
Or what you did with everything
everywhere all at once with Stephanie.
Right.
Right. Yeah.
Curtis.
Yeah.
Johnny Patrice.
100% down for that demon say our idea.
Winston, I don't have to have to visit it.
Go pal.
Any chance of a better off dead reaction.
unfortunately no because you know what I realized is that if I would have done more 80s movies like 10 or 15 years ago I think they would have done better on the channel I think that 80s movies are getting past the generation that watches reactions not all not all but a lot of them I mean look last dragon did better than I thought it would to be honest and then and the Transformers movie that Chris and I did did pretty well too so there's some 80s
movies that'll do well but there's some that i just that one i just think would get lost and i love
that movie uh if kelchrick pickens if michael green can write an abomination like green lantern
and nine years later write logan and blade runner i think it's proof any writer can turn it around
given hot give hotson a chance i don't disagree with you i think i the question before was are you
concerned not do you think she can make it work um because any actor with the right notes and
could either help or hurt a project no i agree
And I will say, though, I'll give credit to the chat.
Somebody said the SAG Awards will actually give us the real tale as far as the acting just because.
They vote on stuff.
And those Academy Award people, a lot of them, yeah, they're also voting for actors.
Yeah, that's true.
Eric Henderson, is it me or does it feel like my Browns will be, will be that coaching, wait.
The last coaching job is filed.
It will be the last coaching job told, especially now two candidates canceled to take other jobs.
Yeah, of course. Who the hell wants to coach for the Browns? No offense.
That's, that's literally it. You don't really have a quarterback situation settled.
Your ownership is absolutely terrible. And as part of the reason you've been like kind of going down a hole continuously.
It is going to be one of the last jobs filled, honestly.
Hotel nerd. Put Spider-Man trailer out during Daytona 500.
You know, I would scoff at that, but I'd be stupid to because the audience is so freaking big for it.
Connor Mollis, gets what I'm eating. Doritos.
I'm going to say some, oh my God.
What are those called, the little twisty things, the tachies?
I'm going to get spaghetti with vodka sauce.
Um, a burger.
I'm going to say spaghetti with vodka sauce.
If you get spaghetti with vodka sauce, you'd be correct.
So messy, just the, just the way I like it.
See?
Look at it.
I can read your mind.
That's right.
Dr. Doom.
Throughout Do you like for Doom's, do you say bitch?
I said, son of a bitch.
Either way.
Either way, both funny.
That's funny.
Dr. Doom, throughout Dooms Day, I would like for Dooms Master Breakover times
as the heroes are fighting him in the end, he officially reveals his face.
From what I heard, you're not going to see his face much at all in the movie, and I love that.
Good.
Absolutely love it.
Legend, MM-600, really want to see the Seahawks win.
What teams do you three want to see win?
Yeah, Seahawks, my fiancé is from Portland, and so since they don't have a football team,
they're all Seahawks fans up there, so I'm pulling for the Seahawks.
Um, I've got, yeah, I would say, because Denver to me, um, or I got friends who like Denver.
I don't remember mine Denver.
And then, you know, you got, for Denver over the Patriots for sure.
100%.
And then if I'm, so if I want that game, Denver, you know, I always, like I said, I don't have any ill
will towards LA team.
So either one, either way, I, there's the only team I don't want to see the win the Super Bowl is the Patriots.
Yep.
That's it.
That is accurate.
So anybody else, I'd be happy.
I'm team snacks.
I wanted the Bears because then our food was going to be hot dogs and malort.
And then they had to ruin that for me.
I just also wanted to see the chaos that would have ensued of just Chicago being in the Super Bowl.
Like they were already losing their mind, just winning that first game.
And of course, you saw that past, Christian, right?
Did you both see that past?
Oh, my God.
It was good.
All right.
Let's see.
Next one.
Hey, hey, hey, Mr. C.
Sam is going to go Buck Wild at Game of Thrones
Season 3. She's going to lose her mind.
She's going to lose her mind.
I'm going to have to have tissues everywhere.
She's like, we just got to the wildfire stuff now
and she's just like, she's losing.
And you haven't seen, yeah, for the end of season two,
the Blackwater.
Oh, okay, yeah.
Wow.
And so she's, yeah, she's losing.
That's the end of season two, yeah.
Oh, my God.
She's losing her mind with all this stuff.
Okay.
Alexander Wilson, did you all see that Rutter's is reporting the Flonis big idea for Lucas Holmes to use a deep fake Luke in multiple projects?
That sounds not good or good. Is that true?
You see, this is where we're going to get into an argument because my two co-hosts are scoffing at that.
It depends on how it's done.
Because like I said, it depends on where it's done because it would make sense if they can do what they did in the, in the, in the,
Boba Fet, because the one that they did in Mandalorian looked terrible.
The one that they did in the Boba Fett episode looked great.
And the technology has gotten significantly better since then.
Now, if they're going to use kind of like an AI version of it or what are they going to do,
here is the reason why it's necessary if they're going to continue with this Thrawn storyline.
Thrawn is starting to invade in a time period where Luke is the most powerful Jedi in all of the galaxy.
he would be an absolutely atrocious Jedi if he did nothing.
And at this point in his career,
he wasn't throwing lightsabers over the thing into a thing,
and he wasn't drinking blue milk.
He was a badass Jedi.
That's why he came back to save Grogu.
He would be involved.
So if you're not going to recast and you can do this,
they're not going to recast him at this point.
Because they've already gone down that route.
They've done it twice already.
And they've already had Luke.
I think that if you can perfect it and they've already shown so far that you can,
I think it's fine.
But my,
but both Chris and Winston
disagreed.
It's my,
I don't have a problem with using Luke.
I'm just like,
just recast him.
Like that's like like,
yeah.
He's right there.
He's right there.
He looks pretty much like a young Hamill.
Like,
Hamill has greenlit that or he's like,
yes,
please cast this very handsome version of me.
Yeah.
That I am not anti using Luke.
I am anti running down this path and being like,
because then he opens up Pandora's box.
I,
I was happy we got Cavill.
I was happy that we got David and Corden sweat.
I was happy that we got all these different Batman and Spider-Man.
Like, don't do this.
Yeah.
Well, we'll see.
I mean,
it didn't,
it didn't open up the Pandora's box when they did it in,
you know,
in,
the Mandelor or Bobafet,
rather.
Because so far it looks like trash.
You thought the one in Bobafet looked bad?
I agree with you.
The one in,
the one in Mandalorian looked terrible.
I'm not going to disagree with you there.
They got better by then, but it's still just like,
there's still just something so uncanny about it.
And maybe that's also my own bias.
Okay.
Of being like, this does not look right.
This looks artificial.
That's fair.
But, you know.
Yeah, okay.
Uh, go pal.
Marjorie Tyrell plays Ann Bolin in the Tudors.
Okay.
Yeah.
Natalie Dorman.
More similar in Natalie Dormer content in Tudors.
Oh, okay.
Well, then maybe I'll watch that show.
Wiley OFC.
I watched the Mel Brooks HBO.
It's really good. Check it out if you were snowed in.
I heard it was here. I know Sam and Roxy went to the premiere then.
Go pal. I always thought
Delroy Linden was Caribbean.
Oh. No. Born in London.
I always thought he was just a southern black because his
his accent work is crazy.
Yeah. But yeah, I had no idea that he was a Brit, man.
But this stuff, this stuff is the stuff that drives me nuts though.
Like this kind of be more creative work with other lore,
no one's saying that. No one's saying that they shouldn't do that.
agrees with that, but the thing is they've already set up the Asoka thing.
So they can't, if they're, if they're having Thron move forward, you can't neglect what's
already there.
So we don't, the whole year than now, it just make a rid of all stories.
Yet we know that.
We know that.
Everybody knows that.
And it's also why nobody goes and sees original stories in movies and why everyone
makes sequels and everything else, too.
I couldn't be a bigger advocate for trying to do things in the old republic and outside.
And this is why I, I hold so much value to the Simon Kinberg,
idea of doing something farther into the future so you can build out to it. But what we're talking
about is when you are already in there and you already have stories going on in that time period,
you can't ignore what was already there. Kathleen Kennedy did that a lot. There was a mandate. I don't
know if she did it. It's what I heard. No more Luke. Don't bring Luke back. Don't bring any old
characters back. No more legacy characters. And I think that kind of showed in that exit interview,
well, the fans just wanted a lot of the old stuff. It's not what they wanted. They wanted you to make sense
with the stories you were already telling of who was around during that time period,
why would they just disappear?
And that's the answer more so, not a matter of just coming up with new material.
Okay, next one.
Josh, Josh Dockwall, or Josh Duckwall.
Cheers from Fort Worth.
Hope you all are doing work, doing good.
Thanks for all the great content.
I'm stoked for one around next week.
Definitely going to binge watch.
I hope that the show does very well for people.
do. I hope it's like a big hit
and shocks everybody.
I think so. I hope it will be too.
Yeah, I hope so. I'm not
going to tell you to bet on that in Vegas,
but I'm hoping.
Draw J.
Baldoni lively keeps getting more entertaining.
I can't even. I just fast forward
through social media.
It's what's making me laugh is because from the start
of it, the only thing that I said is
I was like, I don't know about that Justin do.
Like, I'm not, I'm not feeling Blake,
but that Justin do feel like he'd be talking a
lot of shit, but he probably actually a creeper.
And then the more and more that like now people's texts about him and the
like both though, but they both is.
Yeah, this is a, if I were the judge presiding the case, I would tell them both to get
bent, dismissed.
Like just for both, just guys, you both look like assholes drop it.
We know you're a terrible person and we're pretty sure you're a terrible person.
Go away now.
And you're making Taylor Swift now look like a terrible person.
Go, go away.
Everybody go away.
Justin Baldotti feels like that dude that was that like, do you remember, um,
just friends where Rusty was like always playing the guitar and he was like, oh, I'm such,
I'm such a feminist and women this that way. I was like, that's how I get bitches. Like,
that's what he feels like as a person. Yeah. Do you guys know this latest thing though? Because it's so
insane. No. What is it? The court now is citing heated rivalry as like a point for why improvisation
in intimacy scenes is okay. Oh. So like it's so off the rails. It's so off the rails. It's so
ridiculous. I just saw it as a headline
and was like, well, I'm going to click this article now
because this is insane. Of course,
right. That's, and that's what that's how they get you.
This is hilarious. Have Sam reacted 28 inches
later and then 28 inches later
the boner temple. Her reaction nothing
swinging would be like she she would definitely laugh
during the zombie penis scenes for sure.
Excalibur, but
Sam's so going to be so tied up.
Like we just, I just was talking about this with somebody. We have
I brought it up here today.
I don't remember.
But we're doing all Game of Thrones.
We should be done by March.
And then we're going to get into DC movies.
And then we're going to do Star Wars movies leading to Mando and Grogu and
probably do Mandalorian season one, two, and three.
And not can, I don't think we're going to do new trilogy until we get to, until we get
closer to Starfighter.
So you can't squeeze in one porno?
Maybe.
I don't know.
another man's wife
I found that VHS type somewhere
All right, so let's see
Um
X caliber 91.41, big snow coming
going to poop in it probably. Good for you.
Oh, son of a big, bro.
No, my flight was supposed to be at 540.
It's now been delayed to almost 8 o'clock.
Flight, where are you going?
To Vegas. I told Vegas.
Oh, right, right.
Are you flying out of Burbank?
Yeah.
Oh, well, that's not the business.
See, one thing, though, Vegas, I mean, the flight is so fast.
No, I get it.
But like, I was, I'm not, I'm going to miss the big dinner.
I'm so.
Oh, that sucks.
Just go, honestly, just go to Burbank Airport.
This happened to me at CinemaCon, where they delayed our flight and me and my buddy just
went to Burbank.
And it was, do you have any other flights we can get on?
Because this is past our stuff.
And they were like, oh, yeah, just go.
And we got on a flight in like 15 minutes.
That's worth a shot.
That's worth a shot.
Yeah.
All right.
All right.
Last one for now.
Eric Henderson.
what's the best thing about NASCAR

I think that's like
I think that's it
right now so 68

but nonetheless
it was a great show
we had a lot of great laughs a lot of good discussion
Chris what's going on in your channel
and your podcast?
Oh man, you can head on over to Tooth of the Casuals
pod wherever you get your podcast,

This week, I am explaining to Amy
who Gilda Dent is
and talking about her role in the long Halloween,
so kind of playing around
with that Scarlett Johansson speculation
for the Batman too.
Go check that out.
The reason why I think I shouted out

That's amazing.

Oh, we do?
Oh, we do?
Yeah.
Go, pal.
Porn reactions on Patreon,
be Patreon exclusives also.
Who am I going to watch that with?
Ming?
I feel like Sam would actually fucking,
that would be hilarious.
You'd be funny as hell.
How?
I don't, what do I tell?
My wife, what are you watching today?
How?
What?
Right.
How's that work?
There's no win for me there.
All three options don't work.
Ming? Nope.
Sam?
Nope.
Myself?
Nope.
It's just going to be me by myself going, oh, no.
Right.
That doesn't go in there.
Absolutely not.
I don't need this narrative.
Right.
100%.
Let's say.
Excalber.
Are you watching a Paramount card who you got?
So don't ask me who I got because this is, this is the thing.
I was a major UFC fan from like 2005 to like 2012.
well. Like, they knew every single fighter. I could tell you everything about it. I knew what
everything, every division knew everything. Both life got in the way. That was one thing.
But the major reason I didn't get back into it was the amount of money it cost for a pay-per-view at one point.
When I started, you know what, I'm going to start getting back into the UFC. It was $80 to watch a pay-per-view and it used to be like 40.
Now with Paramount Plus, there are no more pay-per-views. Everything is free. I will be watching again.
but because of that, I'm not as, I don't know the fighters as much as I used to.
So I've got to learn a little bit more about them, so I can't give you predictions.
I don't know.
Winston, do you have any predictions on them?
I don't, just because I don't really know UFC like that.
I just know that the title match got pushed, though.
That's the only thing that I know, and I may I'm sad about that.
Okay.
Ed, what's up, King?
Christian, 8 to 14.
At least the kids love fun.
Yeah, that's what they're saying, 8 to 14 inches potentially.
It should be crazy.
well the little one will have fun for the oldest is 14 she's over right now but a new trailer for a real
f1 film to die for filmed over the 24 hours old man is look sick that's cool oh that's dope yeah that'd be
good 73 now look at that too let us sign off Excalibur give me your desire story treatment for star wars
episode 7 to 9 if retconned also more likely to redcon under new regime no chance they're gonna
retcon they're already doing the simon kynberg thing they're they're adding to it
but they might retcon in a way that they did for like the prequels.
One thing I wish I would have,
I could have another conversation with Roka about this.
I, you know, I disagree with something that he said on Monday.
He said that Star Wars was dead after the prequels.
And he's like, it wasn't even close to being dead
because you wouldn't have been able to sell it for $4 billion.
Plus the fact that, you know,
Clone Wars brought back an excitement to it,
not in the mega as the mainstream way,
but it answered a lot of questions that people had about some of the story things and they built
it up and that was George Lucas and how he was building that with Faloni.
But there was a lot of, there were a lot of things.
And those movies all made tons and a lot of money.
Now, the fans of the original trilogy certainly were not on board with it as much as like
the younger generation who grew up with it.
But Star Wars was very far from dead as he said.
but I think that seven through nine,
even though it might not be beloved by people,
they still have to stand by it.
It wouldn't, like, I would love if they did that,
but there's no world and you can't do that as a business.
You can't say, oh, you know what, we didn't like those.
And Kathleen was gone.
If she was here, it was her fault.
So we're going to retcon that.
This is the world that happens.
Do you guys disagree?
They're not going to rec on it.
No.
I just don't see it happening.
If I was going to, though,
the only like major thing I probably would have changed is you're not waiting till the absolute
final minute for Finn to all of a sudden be like oh I feel the force now and blah blah blah
because you kind of teased a little bit that maybe he was going to be the one with it a little bit
by by showing him with a lightsaber early on and seven so like I would have preferred to like have
dual students in Finn and Ray throughout that whole situation and see where that kind of goes one way or
the other what do you think Chris I mean if if I were to rec on something and I and they won't
They're not going to.
But for me, it was always the suddenly Palpatine, the Rabing Palpatine's granddaughter.
I don't, I've said it before.
All the interconnectedness, all the Dickensian nature of this at times is so convoluted to me.
And I really enjoyed the idea of the force is not a bloodline thing.
It is this thing that can happen to anyone.
Anyone could be a force user.
It's this kind of luck of the draw situation.
And I really liked her being a nobody.
I really liked her just being some person who happened to have a bunch of midi-chlorians or however you want to view this stuff.
I just thought that was so silly to bring in the Palpatine of it all.
I didn't hate that they brought Palpatine back.
I hated the way they brought him back.
Suddenly.
Well, yeah.
Well, I was predicting that they were going to bring him back.
I think it makes sense in the overall, because I said, wait a minute.
They're actually going to, they're actually going to go back to the.
prequel stuff and take that scene at the opera when he said i would tell you the story of
darth bleak is the wise and then how he was able to cheat death you're like oh he figured out how to
do it how did he do it and that's the whole essence of the story he's him he figured out how to cheat
death and that's the next stage of the force is cheating death like how did you do that and how do you
beat that. That to me would have been more interesting than while he cloned him and who's Darth,
who's Snoke. We don't really know. They didn't even know who Snoke was. I would have been fine with
the Snoke shit if like even still being a red herring if there was then an actual thing that came
after it. Like I didn't hate the idea that it was like, oh, that's actually kind of funny,
but they never did anything beyond that. So then I was like, oh, well, that kind of sucks.
My thing was always, we can play around. If we want Ray to be interconnected with people, then let's maybe do it a little
Batman Beyondy, right? Is it nurture or nature? Do we need to make sure that her parents are dead or her loved
ones have been killed brutally so we can create another Luke Skywalker situation? Or the chap brought it up
too. Having her be related to Obi-Wan, having her be a Kenobi would have been much more interesting.
I would have loved her to be a Kenobi. That would have been- That would have been so much better.
Or legitimately make her a nobody or legitimately do what you did and she is a nobody.
But like, the Palpatine thing was, ugh. Connor Mollis says Winston thought.
on Callie Roses?
Who hell is that?
Let me see.
It's probably a porn store.
I did Google.
God damn.
Yeah.
Is it?
Okay.
Yes.
Get in,
let's see.
So next one.
Someone in chat was like,
you guys skipped a question.
I was like,
about what?
Oh.
I didn't skip a question.
Some reason.
I don't know.
Oh,
shit.
You know,
we know what's going to be doing during that delay.
That's exactly what I'm.
I was going to say.
All right, so,
Connor,
no, I didn't.
Let's see.
Treatment for 10 to 12.
What do you want to see?
Same thing,
says X-Calbert.
Look,
it's more about what I don't want to see.
I don't want to see more storm troopers or troopers like that.
I don't want to see a new emperor.
I don't want to see a new,
you know,
a thing that blows up planets.
I don't want to see the same stuff.
I want to see new villains.
I want to see,
you can base new villains off of past,
of history and the way George did and fascism and all that,
so you can still do all that stuff.
But I don't want to see the same stuff,
and I want to see the Jedi taken seriously
and not be this kind of joked upon thing.
For some reason,
they keep joking on the Jedi.
The Jedi would chumps in the acolyte.
What about you guys?
Because I never saw the acolyte.
I just have,
I've kind of stayed away from all.
thing Star Wars for a little bit, barring what the Mandalorian.
So, but I mean, what I would want to see going forward is I still want to see a Jedi Academy.
That's what I would like to see is the next generation of Jedi.
And she's got to go through the instead of just Luke going, I was training Jedi.
And then it went sideways because I'm a nephew.
I would like to see what that actually looks like.
And if you're going to do a deep fake Luke,
Let's see that.
Let's see the Jedi Academy series.
Anyway, Chris, sorry, what were you going to say?
I mean, I was going to just say, like,
Aapolite has my posit moment in it.
So for me, it's worth a watch.
Oh, Mani Jacinto.
Mani Chiquinto.
Yeah, yeah, Mani Chimto.
Yeah.
But I don't really know what I fully want out of the next kind of stuff.
I would like that Jedi Academy.
I think that'd be really cool.
I'm one of the people who really hopes that Grogu isn't dead,
but I would love to see him being.
more like a Mando or some kind of like Yoda like figure who was just like I don't none of these
paths are for me like all of you are trying to discover which path is mine it'll be the 80,000th
Jedi that survived past 60s yeah yeah Christian the chat Ray should have been a descendant of
Bastila from Cotor that would have been fired yeah right and then you have to like kind of
explain it you found a way to tie it in now you know you can go back and do that to all
that would have been great but nope that's fine um
this is you guys know my i think i've joked i've joked about it on this show many times i don't know
if i've done it with you guys do you know what my most hated moment of rise of skywalker is what
i know this chris knows ray ho oh oh yeah i thought you were gonna say they fly now they fly now
that's just bad writing but like this i mean this is bad writing too but this is like it just doesn't
make any sense it's like in the middle of the desert i mean it's like i'm telling you it's like it reminds me of
my mother when the neighbors would come in too late at night what i doing on the who's that on the porch
that's i'm joey joey ho and it's like it's like ray ho what do you care what are you doing in front of
my house you don't live here a little bag so yoshimitsu ray ray who just ray so right so much better
i kind of did you see the reaction when there's a reaction in the theater where that that moment and
people are at booing when she did that.
Ray Skywalker.
They're like, don't you do it, don't you say it?
And she was, Skywalker.
And they go, buh.
Why does she sound like walking?
It's true.
I'm Ray's back.
I'm just Ray.
And then she dances out of there.
Yeah.
That's true.
Weapon of choice.
Speaking of walking, I got so upset about this because I came over this bed.
I told my buddy about it a while ago.
And I was like, oh, we should do a bit.
I'm just filming it and do it.
it's a um we find somebody who can do a good christopher walking impression and do a thing about a walk in
closet but it's christopher walking in the closet and so when you walk in but apparently they did
something like that and saturday night live but my my version of it was like you open up the thing
and he's just like it's cold outside wear sweater you hit those shoes you need new ones
you need to what you need to do is that that sounds like the perfect old navy commercial to have him be a part
of it. It's cold outside. I can't do a walking impression.
And then, wear a sweater. And then literally, oh, maybe. Like, you can literally go make a bunch of money.
Yeah, we'd love to do Christopher Walkins, a walk in closet. A walk in closet. It's just like, those jeans are ripped.
Throw them out. Or did you ever, do you ever watch Modern Family when it was, when it was going?
No, no, not really. So the, so, uh, um, Ed Harris, oh my God, Ed O'Neill, his main thing is he owns like a closet business.
That feels like a joke they would have done in the show of like, we got a huge star to
do a commercial for the company.
Walking closet.
That was my favorite.
Go pal.
JJ has been leaving breadcrumbs and figuring it out,
figuring it out since alias.
Yeah, it's true.
I mean, that's what he's always done.
That's what he's always done.
It's what he's good at.
Excalibur.
I don't want to see Ray doing what we wanted to see Luke doing.
Just pass on to the next generation and have Ray turn bad and embrace poopy
palpity.
Nah,
you can't do that.
You lost your turn.
It's like in wrestling.
There's moments where you can turn someone heal.
and if you capture it, you're going to have a good heel moment,
but if you do it, you're going to get a John Cena moment.
That's what I was going to say.
I just was talking to somebody about it.
It wasn't that why the Cina thing didn't work.
It was too late.
Too late to have bad storyline for him.
The turn itself was great.
It's the way they did it afterwards, it made no sense.
Somebody told me that what they should have done is like, yes,
the Rock being one of the board members of TKL sports,
like it sort of makes sense,
but you should have made Cina come back and be all extra Hollywood,
just because of like how it was like.
He's still wearing the jeans shorts and everything else, too.
It's like, you didn't change it all.
It's like there's no notes to it.
It was bad.
And I can't do that with Palp.
We can't do that with Ray.
It's like it's too late.
Mike, Revell.
Would a liked Jedi Apprentice novel,
Jung Obi-1 over what we got with Ackleite.
Yeah.
Adapt your books.
Adapt your comics.
They're right in front of your face.
Armada, 8.YT.
Impression of Koi doing a porn watch.
Hello, Lovelys.
Hello, Lovelys.
You see the Lovelies?
on her down.
Just like, yeah,
I don't even know how I'd do it.
He'd just be so excited to see everything.
And it's probably be the best thing ever.
All right, let's see.
Haskell,
what's your first
when we were in TV or video?
I was nine TV dialed to channel 68.
What?
On the U.HF brand,
couldn't see a thing in the squeak lens puzzle for,
I couldn't remember.
First one ever.
The VHS tapes,
where you just, getting them were like gold.
Bro, I,
so my,
My parents got divorced.
And so my dad was like living in this condo that he had or whatever.
And he was like, all right, well, I'm going to go get his dinner.
So, you know, just watch a movie or something.
And, you know, so I opened up his DVD thing.
This man did not hot.
All the porn is just the last page of the DVD book.
So I was just like.
Yeah.
And then that's the first time I saw Debbie does Dallas.
It was pretty crazy.
Bobby, when you talk to Campia for the segment, did he give you the lowdown?
he knows about Zoom saying no I didn't ask him we did a so John had me on his show last week he
we did a new segment um we were just talking about news and we didn't really that was what you
saw on the air is pretty much how much we talked because he was in the middle of doing stuff so like
it sent me the clip said hello real quick did the segment said see you later and that was it and
we said we should do this again that's that's really that's so we didn't talk about Avengers
and stuff um draw it we finally got
news breadcrumbs on a Voltron movie.
Did we? Am I excited? Hell no.
Am I excited about Henry Cavill? Hell no.
Damn.
Tell me how you really feel. Is there new news?
Is there? I'm looking. Let me see.
Yeah. So far everything about that Voltron movie. I'm just like,
and I love Voltron so much.
And I don't know. The only thing, and I don't know if it's still the same.
At one point, Justin Marks wrote a version of it. And so Justin Marks, well,
I've told my story about Justin Marks and my involvement with him and He-Man,
but he also most recently did Shogun.
And he's, I mean, he's a phenomenal writer.
He's a really good guy.
So I don't know if he's still on Voltron.
I know there's just a draft he did a long time ago.
But I don't know if he's on it or not.
But I don't know what the news is.
All right.
Well, still a good comeback.
83.
Still a good comeback.
Still need around, you know, 24.
Everybody loves a good comeback.
Yeah.
There we go.
Kim Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian.
Yeah.
I knew that was fun.
All right.
Thanks again for being.
