The NBA playoffs are here, and now you can trade every game on Cali.
You can also trade on who wins each series, the conference finals, and the championship.
San Antonio is currently trading at 22% to win it all, meaning a $100 trade pays out $455 if they take the title.
On Calci, you're trading against other people in a live market, no house, no odds makers.
And as the odds move, you can buy in or out any time throughout the post season.
For a limited time, download the Calci app and use code hoops to get $10 when you trade $10.
KLSHI, Calci, trade on anything.
I'm here on the Snowdown Entertainment Network.
You know what slowdown stands for?
It stands for great matches.
It stands for fantastic people coming in to help out and sit down with us today and have a class.
I am the outlaw, John, wrote to sit in for my brother, Christian Powell off, hosted today.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
We get the Monday crew coming on you.
Monday crew 2.0.
I like to call them nowadays, so I love it two pieces.
Wait, would I say that right?
Coming to you.
Coming to you.
So, John, the way you said it was right.
Monday 2.0.
This is the bench for the squad.
Come in to you on a dusty road.
But yeah, we are back to have a lot of fun to talk about all the world,
everything going on in the world of entertainment,
talking some WrestleMania, got my macho man's shirt on and all kinds of stuff here.
But you know I can't do it alone.
These are amazing people joining me today.
First of all, Steph's a bra.
What's up, Steph?
I love the earrings.
Talk to me.
What are all those things?
They say my name just in case you forgot.
Let's go.
It's super narcissistic.
You can't have too much stuff jewelry hanging.
But Roka, I won't tell the audience what you told me, but I'll just say this.
Roka is aging like wine.
Let me tell you that much, you guys.
And I feel like we've gotten closer in this 2.0 crew already.
I appreciate it.
I appreciate it.
It's very, very true.
Brett Sheridan, how are you feeling, my man?
Good to see you.
How my agent's down.
I honestly have to temper down complimenting you because I do it too much.
You knew that.
I know, I hear it all the time.
That's my first one.
He's a zaddy.
Brett's his daddy.
He's a daddy.
I love it.
Alex Marzonia here with an interesting shirt.
What do you got on the shirt?
Are those, what are those?
What are those?
Feathers?
Palm trees.
Oh, palm trees.
Yeah, palm leaves.
I don't know, branches, actually.
But I do have my friend
the Golden Snub Nose Monkey.
I don't know if you guys saw this video
that went around Twitter this past weekend.
It's just a little dude,
just like getting berries or whatever
from the person taking the video.
It's the cutest thing ever.
I'm going to send it to you, Alex, great call on that.
It is one of the...
Gorillas are my favorite animal, and then I saw that.
I said, hold up, wait a minute.
This might just take the number one spot.
I'm sending it right now.
Is it a small?
thing? It looks small. It's probably like two feet tall, I'd say. Oh. Yeah, they're little monkeys.
I thought it was Samuel Levine doing cosplay. Malcolm, how are you? Malcolm, how are you feeling?
I'm doing great. How are you? I asked you already. You know how I'm doing. I've told you I'm doing. How the
fuck are you doing, man? How are the first fuck are you? I'm doing pretty dang good. I'm having a
wonderful Monday so far.
Pretty dang good. We got so much to get into today and
talk about and, you know, we want to have an even more interactive show than usual today.
So please send in your stream lab, superchats, and small bots.
Let's get to know each other.
Let's huddle around the campfire.
Let's tell stories.
Let's hear what you're feeling.
How was your weekend?
How's your Monday starting out?
Did you waste an hour and 45 minutes watching Thunder Force on Netflix like I did last night?
Let me know what your feelings are.
Did you enjoy WrestleMania?
We're going to talk about that.
Almost eight hours of WrestleMania this weekend.
Did you have a good time?
Did you have fun with it?
And anything else?
Any sports stuff?
Anything else going on in the world?
Let's talk about it all.
Movie stuff, politics.
Well, not politics.
Movie stuff is for sure.
So let's talk about it all for sure.
I can tell.
I'm on hinge today.
So whatever.
All right.
Like Russell Crowe today, baby.
Yeah.
Where's that concierge?
Let me get my coffee.
Let me get on your level, Roca.
I love to see it.
Get it.
I'm on hinged like Russell Crow.
You ran the red light.
We go again.
All right.
Anyway, Alex, what do we got first, brother, man?
Yeah, let's talk this.
Stop, yeah, stop.
Jesus, Monday.
Talk this main topic.
Roka, I know you watched all eight hours of it, right?
I did.
I did.
I did.
I tweeted all through it.
I believe you're the only one of the panel.
So could you tell us about what happened on WrestleMania last night?
There were a lot of sweaty men and a lot of sweaty women fighting each other for belts with gold on them.
them. No, it was one of the most interesting
WrestleMania's ever, because remember last year,
there was no crowd because of COVID and what have you.
So they did a lot of these, a lot of the matches from,
oh, actually, yeah, they did almost all the matches from
their performance center in Orlando, I believe.
So it was very much like an in-house thing.
It didn't have the magic necessarily of a WrestleMania,
but there were some excellent matches last year.
And there was some great visual matches, some shot matches,
like they were shot like filmed matches
like a film that were really well done.
But this year it was back to normal,
back to where it was before.
I think they had 25,000 people each night
in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium for WrestleMania.
There was a lot of matches.
I think there was four title matches
that were in play.
A lot of grudge matches.
There were steel cage matches.
There was a tie team matches
and some fun stuff went off.
I think the talk of the weekend was
Bianca Bell Air becoming the Smackdown Women's champion,
beating Sasha Banks.
Great, great match to end at night one.
Bobby Lashley retaining against Drew McIntyre in a clash of,
that was essentially two beasts going at each other,
which was incredible.
And then the next night, last night,
Ria Ripley, getting the belt from Oscar,
the Japanese champion.
So she can become the raw woman's champion.
And then we even had Big E lose to the Nigerian royalty.
that is Apollo Cruz now,
who has embraced his heritage
as a man of African ancestry.
And so a lot of great stuff
that went around overall,
Alexa Bliss,
kind of possibly turning on the fiend
to help Randy Orton win a match.
So a lot of stuff.
But overall,
it was just fun to feel the crowd again
in the stadium.
And it almost got rained out
on Saturday night
because there was like a torrential downpours
going on just before the show started.
A lot of people felt they weren't going to have
the show initially, but Vince McMahon announced, because my friend Aaron Turner was there,
Vince McMahon said, if we have to do it at midnight, we're having the show. So people were
set to watch this thing and for it. And it went off without a, I don't think without a glitch.
So did any of you all get to watch any highlights? Do you have any reactions? Steph, any thoughts,
feelings, comments. Yeah, tons of thoughts. I saw your Instagram post. So I just wanted to go
through a few things with you.
Can you describe the, like, sickest move that was done in one of the nights?
Ooh.
Sickest move.
Well, certainly when in the Biggie Apollo Cruz match, oh, no, I guess I would say,
Edge, Roman Raines, and Daniel Bryan, which ended last night,
the triple threat match for the WWE Championship, singles championship.
there was four concertos.
And concerto is where you take a dude's neck,
put it on a steel chair,
and then slam a steel chair on top of the neck,
which is already on a steel chair.
That can cause brain damage, neck damage,
beaten blood, what have you.
But the craziest move happened, of course,
in the Shane McMahon versus Braun Strollman's steel cage match.
Braun Strollman took Shane McMahon.
He's the son of the owner, by the way,
from the top of the cage, which I think is a 13, 16 foot cage,
flipped him over from the top and he landed on his back 15 feet down onto the canvas.
So pretty crazy.
The son of the owner fell?
Yeah, the son of the owner was thrown by the guy he was fighting
and he's known for having these big spots.
He once in a match 15 years ago, I think he fell 75 feet backwards
off a scaffolding in a match.
So the guy loves to have his big spots.
Thank God they all have health insurance through the company, right, Roca?
No?
Am I?
No what?
Do we have health insurance?
Okay.
Another question.
I saw on your post that you said, bad bunny shut the haters down.
I personally love Bad Bunny.
Can you talk about that?
Bad Bunny wrestled last night, or two nights ago, Saturday night.
What?
Yeah.
Yep.
Thank you, Pac-Man.
Yes.
Yep.
That's a great point you bring up there.
Absolutely for the first time ever two black women were the main event of a night at
WrestleMania.
You know, WW has had kind of a sordid history with their black wrestlers,
hesitating to put belts on them, the top belts rather, on them and give them extended
runs, Sasha Banks.
Finally, after having had the belt and lost it every single time she won it in her next
match, they let her have a bit of an extended run this time around over the last year, I
think during the pandemic and she met up with Bianca Belair who was the new star coming out of
NXT and they had an incredible match and you got to watch the clip they have Steph.
Bianca Blair wrestles with her hair. I think it's like six feet long or four feet long rather
in a in a in a like a what do you call like a ponytail type thing.
Honey, yeah. This is it like a whip and before she won the match, she whipped Sasha Blair on the
and you could see like,
Sanchi Banks rather,
you could see it cut her all across the sun,
like blood coming out and stuff.
It was a pretty intense situation.
Now, back to Bad Bunny, though.
He moved to Orlando over the last few months
to train at the WWE Performance Center
so that he could show the fans
that he is committed to being a part of WrestleMania,
was committed to fighting,
and he fought the Miz and John Morrison
with Damien Priest as his tag team partner.
And he was flying all over the,
the ring bad bunny so shout out to him man you got to appreciate you got to watch the highlights
he was literally like a flying squirrel off the top rope flying squirrel off the top rope on top of the
guys outside the ring outside the ring so pretty intense that's a smart ass business move from
bad bunny oh wow yeah yeah okay final question i i what i love about the wwee is i don't watch it
very much, but I hear equal conversation about the women, what you call them fighters?
The women?
The fighters?
What do you mean?
Yeah.
Like, wrestlers.
Wrestlers.
Yeah.
Okay.
Women wrestlers as the male wrestlers, when you say that you enjoy watching the both of them
equally?
Oh, yeah.
I think the women's wrestling has come a long way, not just an acceptance, but also in
quality.
You know, and over the last 10 years, I would say, we've.
really seen the game elevate.
You know, we had Trish Stratus and Lita,
but that was also around the time
where we had like, you know, TNA matches
and women fighting in panties
and all of that was the objectification.
That was the attitude era.
But, you know, over the last few years,
women have said, we don't want to play,
we don't want to fight those matches anymore.
We want to be taken for our skills and our quality
and appreciative for we could bring to the ring.
And that really changed the mentality
within the WWE,
but how to approach female,
And now female wrestlers very much are about what they're doing in the ring and their skill level and their training and their fitness and the work they do to get in shape to be a professional wrestler.
And they take the bumps and the hits.
And I mean, they get hit with steel chairs, Kendo sticks.
They fall off cages.
I just saw this hair whip.
Yeah.
Wow.
She really whipped her hair back and forth.
You should see.
Listen to it.
My friend Aaron Turner, once again, my friend Aaron Turner, who was there,
we co-host Strong Style on my channel.
He was near the top of the stadium, and he could hear her hair hit Sasha in that move.
So it is no joke.
Yeah, there's the welts.
No.
That's a real welt.
Oh, my God.
Once I put my weave in, if I have a weave ponytail clip like that, I'm going to,
don't fuck with me.
I just learn to move.
Yeah, try sliding into those DMs now, suckers.
Yeah.
Get a little hair.
whip. Walk around get hair whipped. What worries me is that Shannon Barney might have watched that and got
ideas. So I don't want to get whipped at a schmodeo. She would rock that. She would, right? Yeah. Anyway,
what did you guys think? Any other thoughts? Brad or Alex? Well, I don't know much about it,
but was it, so this was a packed out audience live thing? Or was it, was it a separate?
to the point that it only allowed 25,000 people.
So certainly they were sold out both nights,
but they only allowed 25,000 people.
I think it's a 75,000 or 100,000 seats stadium.
So they only allowed 25,000.
Okay, yeah, because that's what I was wondering about
because I was like, oh, this is coming back.
Were they going to be distance, whatever?
It's one of these like, oh, how's this going to go down?
Yeah, I mean, I'm not, you know,
I was into this back in the day.
I don't consider people that watch it,
trash people or anything like that.
but I think it sounds super fun.
I love fighting with my family,
and I think that really showed that, you know,
the female wrestlers, as much as they,
you know, a lot of these women that were auditioning
were very beautiful.
They were put through the ringer,
and they really have to train.
It is a sport.
It is something that you're physically,
you're getting hair whipped on the side of your body and stuff like that.
So I think that, you know, you know, part entertainment, part sport,
but, you know, for anybody,
I guess I'm just backing up the fact for anybody that says that this is fake,
the fakenness of it is not really something you should focus on
because these really are truly athletes.
And I think, I wish I was into it.
It'd be fun.
But I was back in the day, boy.
I had wrestling parties.
We had fake belts we made and we would wrestle for the belt.
And sometimes we'd hurt each other pretty bad.
Because we realized, yeah, a suplex isn't something you should be doing in a basement.
No.
To like study the movement.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, they had video of people out tailgating.
And two of these guys around the crowd held an impromptu match.
One dude off the top of an SUV elbow dropped a guy, but the table isn't a breakaway
table.
So he essentially hit him on the table.
The table didn't break.
and they both fell onto the asphalt
and I was like, what are you idiots doing?
What are you idiots doing?
Idiots!
I saw a ladder match
and I noticed that the paper is chipping off
and I was like, wait, those are fiberglass ladders.
Fiberglass is tougher than a metal ladder.
You spray painted it to look like a more flimsy ladder,
but it's actually more of a dangerous ladder.
That was, if you can't get the aluminum ones anymore,
I don't know, but that was to me, it was like,
those guys are going to hurt themselves.
Yeah, real quick, if you're listening us
and watching us right now talking about us,
send in your thoughts and comments,
both positive and negative, whatever your feelings are,
send in your streamlap, super chats to Schmobots.
Did you get a chance to watch it?
Let us know what you thought about the title changes,
the matches, what was your favorite parts of the Knights?
Let us let us know, please.
Yeah, Alex, any thoughts on this, any interest in this?
and you know, Bad Bunny was there, man.
Logan Paul was there.
I was going to say, like,
celebrities like Bad Bunny and
celebrities like Logan Paul
coming in. What do you,
like, what do you think
of these celebrities coming in?
And what celebrity
would you want to see in the
WWE, like Charlie Sterran
Tom Holland maybe?
Like Timothy Chalemi?
Stephen Amel wrestled. You know that, right?
Stephen Amel a year or two a
wrestled a match, a real-life match.
He's a guy who loves professional wrestling,
and he's doing that NBC show.
I think it's called Heels.
He's a part of that as well.
Yeah, Logan Paul did the right thing.
Logan Paul stayed out of the match,
and then at the end, he came in,
and he got stunned by Kevin Owen.
So it was the right thing.
People don't like Logan Paul,
so having him be around sitting ringside
for the attention is good,
and then having to get a comeuppance
for the fans that don't like him,
It worked both ways.
So I thought they were smart
and how they handled Logan Paul.
I don't know if there are any...
I'd like to see more female celebrities get involved.
More female influencers get involved.
I think that would be fun to see.
I don't think Charlie's throne is going to go anywhere near this.
But Tom Hardy would be interesting.
I can see Tom Hardy being a part of this.
Chris Evans being a part of this.
I could see that down the road, you know?
So who knows for sure?
Obviously, the Rock.
There's a lot of rumors that the Rock is going to come back next year
to fight.
as a final match and never, ever fight again in WrestleMania.
So there's a lot of rumors about that happening.
We shall see because his, is it his nephew, Roman Raines?
Roman Raines is the champion now and he won last night.
But he is the Rock's, I think, nephew.
He's his blood.
So I know that much.
So, yeah, that would be cool to see.
More like the opposite.
I feel like we see is people like Sasha starting in WWE.
And then we saw her in Mandalorian,
in season two.
And so many of them are doing that now, which is sick to see.
I like, I kind of like to see the people that go for the WWE really train in that way,
make their name and then break out.
That seems like a, because they are learning how to perform.
Yep.
A good start for that.
I just don't see A-list celebrities doing that just because of the injury level.
I don't see their management being okay with it.
Maybe an appearance.
Yeah, I think.
Like we had like Maria Menunos do it.
but I worked with her.
She was fucking awesome in the WWSR.
But yeah, she loves it, but it's, yeah, it's different.
I think when you go back to it.
Yeah, agree.
Entertainment 720 is asking, would the Flauss be interested in WWE
in entering the WWE?
Now we're talking.
He's a lover, not a fighter, but Brett Sheridan,
and definitely if he got in shape, would be down for it.
I'd tell you know, if I had any celebrity,
hell yeah.
You know, I definitely, you know,
I could take a punch.
You know, high school proved that.
Listen, no, I don't know.
I would definitely, I would definitely love to be.
Night one was great night two, not so much.
I just wish WWE would stop bringing back the Bella twins,
them getting boots at all you need to know.
Yeah, well, you can't.
I know there's this large portion, well, not large,
but I know there's a significant portion of the,
the WW universe,
it's not a fan of the Bella twins,
but you can't deny their impact.
I mean,
they spun off to start a reality show
with Total Divas,
and they were such stars of Total Divas
that they spun themselves off
into their own show, the Bellas,
and now they've built an empire.
So whatever your issues may be,
just like people have with the Kardashians,
which I totally understand,
these people are smart business people,
and they know what to do,
they know how to maximize their audience
for maximum profit.
So yeah, you may hate it,
but you're not the loud majority
that stops this from happening
because they wouldn't be making money
if a majority of people didn't enjoy
what they were doing at some level.
You know, so as much, you know,
I get it.
Kingel McCringery donated $75.
Hale Bianca Bellet.
Sasha and her brought it and showed
why they deserved to end Night 1 of Mania.
Who knew bad bunny could go like that?
Between mania and take over what a week of wrestling.
I need some drunk Brett talking some smack.
Oh.
That's $75.
I feel like that's over the $50.
I got to say one thing.
I just looked up to bills since I need to clear my browser history.
Brother.
So what's their issue with these young ladies?
They can't have a reality show.
No, they basically think that the,
so the people that don't like the Belich twins think basically that they're just beautiful women who can't wrestle that well.
But I disagree with that.
I think Brea and Nikki are both good wrestlers.
Do I like the popular they achieved over other wrestlers that I think are more competent?
No, I don't overall like that.
But I can't deny their impact and can't deny that they are a force and they're smart at what they do.
You know, and so you can't deny that.
Well, and your goal is, as, I mean, is to get butts and seats.
Yeah.
Right?
I mean, if you could do that, I don't, you can't argue that they're, if they're doing
that, that they're doing their job wrong.
Yeah, it's kind of like, oh, how dare they be super popular and watch that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I always think that's born out of jealousy, that stuff.
Of course.
Of course.
It's hard because I think.
Yeah.
As a consumer, it's just so much easier to take the mindset of.
not being a hater into account and then also understand that everything is about business so you
shouldn't take it personal you know i don't love to see logan paul doing uh boxing matches with people
who spend their whole life training to be a boxer and boxers don't choose to be boxers it's like
the life that was given to it them essentially and you have someone like but what am i going to do not
understand that the that they would bring him on for money no so you just have to sit back and enjoy it or
else you're just going to end up being bitter.
It's just money.
Yeah, there's no winning that game.
There's no winning that game.
It really isn't.
You learn, you can hate it all you want, but there's no winning that game because you're
not going to stop them.
You're not going to stop them.
I mean, look at the, look at the Kim Kardashian, like Chloe Kardashian situation happened
the last few days, right?
In a microcosm, this is a picture that her grandmother took in a random moment.
Chloe used her power to try to take it down, but then she kind of changed the narrative by
saying, look at all the body shaming.
I'm experiencing because people want to kind of destroy the thing.
But then again, you created this thing.
But in the end, she knows how to twist this thing to her benefit and to make money off of it.
And this is what people who understand this game can do.
And so it's the same thing with Logan Paul.
He's like, this is great for me.
It's good for my brand.
The WW is back on top again as a well-known brand.
So me working with that makes sense.
Bad Bunny, he promoted his tour in the main.
middle of WrestleMania. They had a whole commercial for his tour in the middle of
WrestleMania. So overall, it's just smart. It's smart. Because you've got to go for the younger
audiences. That's how you keep regenerating fans and putting butts in seats and bucks and accounts.
That's for sure. I for sure, you know, have been like, oh, yeah, it's real hard when you get
bunch of money to keep, you know, no, there's plenty of people that have won the lottery and
pissed that away. You know, I mean, like, it is difficult. You can say whatever you want about
the Kardashians and stuff like that, you know, but to be able to continue to.
to keep that money and not blow it, you know, or, you know, to be successful.
Like the, you know, I don't like the, the polls, you know, I don't like some of the stuff they did.
But would I, would I trade places with them and not do the bad things they did and be hugely
successful and have a hundred houses? Yes, I would. You know, so yeah, that I, that hate is always
just jealousy, I think, and, you know, and I've had it myself. I'm sure we all have.
We're like, why is it that somebody that opens up Plato has 14.
million followers.
And, you know, we're here plugging away every day.
And, you know, at least, John, I checked yours before I did your show.
You did have more than 5,000.
I forgot to make that joke when I was on.
I was like, I needed to bring it back because I was like, oh, I forgot to make the
joke about the followers.
But, yeah, anybody that thinks just having money makes it easier.
Go ahead.
Give them a million dollars.
See how long they can hold on to it.
Yeah, it's true.
It's very true.
You've got to know what you're doing.
You've got to know what you do.
I have two more questions about this.
Someone asked in the chat,
who would win in the triple threat match
between the World Girls?
And who would make a good match in the WWE
between two Shmodan personalities?
I'd want to see Brett versus Finstock.
Oh, my God.
That would be a good match.
That would be incredible.
Do you have any thoughts on the triple thread?
That would be 30 minutes of each of them rolling in and out of the ring.
And running around the ring, I think.
Between the world girls, look, I think it goes like this.
I think they, I think Roxy, I mean, I think Steph and Doreena immediately turn on
Roxy and take her out quickly.
But then the main event is, is Steph versus Dorena.
Because Doreena will cut a person, but I know Steph, a Steph is crafty.
Steph will find a pipe or something.
under the ring to use to even the score.
Here's the thing.
Doreena has access to witchcraft.
It might be game over for me.
But here's how I was as a D1 athlete,
just to plug that I was the only D1 athlete
out of the world girls.
I'm scrappy as hell.
Like, you can give me nothing.
I will find the goal.
I will score.
So after WrestleMania,
who do you think is having the upper hand
in professional wrestling?
WWE
AW
Or is it still
New Japan Pro Wrestling
Hope everyone has a great week ahead
That's a great question
Oh
Steph go ahead and finish what you were saying
Oh no that's it
So yeah I do I think
Roka you set it up perfectly
It would be a duel to the end
Between Doreena and I
But Roxy might come back
With some like a machete or something
That's a great story line
That's how you book this thing
If I was to book this thing
they immediately turn on Roxy
and absolutely demolish Roxy
and kick her out of the ring.
And then they go at it for so long
that you forget Roxy was even in the match.
And right at the last moment
Roxy slides in,
knocks out who's ever standing
and takes the pin
and the whole crowd goes nuts
and booze and Roxy sitting on it
and you're just shocked
that that's how it went down.
That's how you booked that match.
Yeah.
So all ladies get to show out in separate ways.
That's like...
Mm-hmm.
I think who would be,
I think me and Jay Washington is the match, obviously,
as the two.
Because, I mean, the smack talk in the program would be insane.
And then the match itself,
because, you know, Jay is actually a trained professional wrestler.
I would have to get into training for it.
But it could be fun to pick up Jay.
Yeah.
Jay come off the top rope with an elbow drop on my chest cavity
and caving it in.
It could all be possible.
I just love to have something I'm forced to train for.
Like, that's what I need right now.
Like, give me something that like, oh, you're going to get money to do to get in shape.
Okay.
You know, because now all I have is like, what, my wife might find me more attractive.
Maybe that is good.
Maybe I should get in shape.
Maybe I should get in shape.
There's no fucking way, Christian, lying on his couch on a Sunday afternoon,
hasn't had those little, like, thought bubbles.
where he sees adding, like, actual wrestling physical interactions in the middle of a schmodeau matches.
You know he'd love them.
Like, I want to, I've always said this, that I want to have a hell and a cell schmodeau match,
where it's like we do the match, but then we do it on top of the cell,
and the cell is on fire the whole time.
That's what I would love to be a powerful.
And then whoever wins gets to throw the other person through the top of the case.
age after the mat.
What a win.
That would be.
It's a Harry Potter question.
You get thrown
a flaming cage.
A goblet of fire.
Yes.
God damn it, it's a gobblet of fire match.
That would make them a little more intense.
Yeah.
Yes.
And then we could be reporting from the side.
like they do at the quiddage games, like 10 points for Roka!
We made idea, y'all.
How we create.
Let's take a look at Christian right now.
Yeah, Christian's riding down.
That's hilarious.
Anyway, so yeah, that was WrestleMania.
Let us know throughout the show what you thought.
You know, we want to get to $500 as Joe.
We're about 150 right now.
So please send in your streamlap SuperTouch Mobats.
Let's get over to 500 by the end of the hour.
And then we can start barreling towards 1,000 possibly by the end of the show.
That would be awesome.
A great way to start a Monday as we kind of go into the second week, I think, of April or third week of April.
So come on in and show some support.
Give us some thoughts and feelings and comments about it all.
And what are we on to next here, Brett Sherrod?
And I know there's something positive you want to tell us about.
Yeah, yeah.
I've got a new, something I want to talk to you about.

Well said, brother.
Well said.
And definitely take care of that.
It's a positive for your life for sure.
I got to say that's the thing with me is I get stuck in a counselor, you know,
and then I stick it.
I'm like, this one's not working out, but I'm too lazy to find a different one.
I feel like this is a way to kind of go like, okay, you're not personally seeing it.
Okay, I'm going to switch this up because I'm not being challenged, you know?
I think I'm sure you've done it before where you're like, well, at least this one doesn't challenge me too hard.
Yeah.
Oh, no, man.
Mine came after me when I tried to stop going.
going. She called my house. Oh yeah, my therapist when I we were getting close to the breakthrough that
really changed my life. She was, I started missing sessions because I was scared of like having to
kind of confront the thing that had been kind of holding me back since I was a kid. And my therapist was
called me up one day after I'd called off a fourth session out of five sessions. And she goes,
I know what you're doing. And if you do this again, I'm going to drop you. And you're going to have
to start all over again with a new therapist. So either you're still.
start coming in every time and the scheduled time, or I'm dropping you, I'm not kidding.
And then she hung up.
I was like, all right.
And that's what I needed because it's what I needed because I started coming back.
Yeah.
That's fucking awesome, Rocha.
She was great.
She saved my life in a lot of ways.
That's such a good thing to share with people because it's always right before your
breakthrough that you start to feel the most insane and want to get everywhere away from
what you're working on.
So it's like those moments that just like buckle in a little bit harder.
Yep, yep.
It's not easy, but it's worth it once you go through it.
Once you climb through it, it's absolutely worth it.
All right, where are we off to?
Alex?
Where are we off to next, brother man?
All right, let's talk about,
so we'll be opening the book of Boba Fett this winter.
And there are just rumors that we'll see returning characters from the Mandalorian
popping in to say, hello.
We last saw Boba Fett and Finakshand in the post-credit scene of the Mandalorian two season finale.
season two finale.
But rumors have it that then jar in
Carl Weathers as Grief Karga,
Bill Burr's Miggs Mayfeld,
and Timothy Oliphant as
Cobbant as Cobbant
could cameo in the book of Boba Fett.
Roka, what do you think of the potential
of seeing other characters returning
to chill and hang out with Bobo?
I love this idea.
I've talked enough.
Steph, what do you think?
Do you want to...
Are you excited by this?
Yeah, I think it makes complete sense.
He was obviously wearing Boba's gear,
the entire for years before.
So there's probably some beef there.
I would love to,
I know the article pointed to this,
see them team up as opposed to be rivalries.
I think that in the beginning
there will probably be some beef
that they need to air out.
But it would be cool to see him.
I would love to see more Bill Burr.
I thought he fit perfectly in to the space,
Boston accent or not,
because it is space and people can have
whatever fucking accents that they want in space.
but I'm excited about this.
I think that with this show specifically,
we don't know much.
It's not,
I don't necessarily need all this ensemble cast to be excited about it.
I think they did a really good job setting it up with the Mandalorian season two
and just his introduction with Fennex-Shan into season one and two,
but where they're progressing in the next season.
So it's just a plus.
It's not necessary,
but it's just a plus if it happens.
and I wouldn't be surprised at all.
Yeah, absolutely.
Alex, I go to you.
What do you think?
Alex, do you want to see these characters come back?
Do you want to have more time with them?
Would it flesh out the world a little more for you
and help you connect with it more?
I think, yeah, out of the ones that were listed,
Cobb-Dant would make the most sense
because he is hanging out on that planet anyway.
But, yeah, I mean, it would be cool to meet new characters, of course,
but I really liked Cobb-Banth.
It would be cool to see him come back and get him fleshed out,
more. But I mean, I'm just looking forward to the
other adventures that Boba Fett goes on
after he doesn't meet Luke.
Yeah.
I wonder if Luke will be, yeah, if Luke will be a chapter
in the book. We'll see. Wow.
Brett, what's your thoughts on this? Do you, you know,
you're from the old original trilogy days. Like, do you
like that Boba's getting his own show? What do you want to see?
I mean, like, are you happy for this?
is it going to be a good guy or bad guy too because he's a bounty hunter.
Yeah, that's what I don't, I'm not sure about to tell the truth.
But yeah, Boba is one of these things where people, we don't need that.
Everybody had the Boba figurine.
I'm telling you, if bad guy or not, everybody had that one.
And that's, and it's somebody that we really, I would like to see the story behind more so than like Alex's hatred for Luke.
You know, definitely I want to see, you know, all the other characters.
characters come back.
And I love the comment about Bill Burr.
You know, it's like, we're fine with Hatties, but not a Boston accent.
You know, like, it's, it's, it's, they're probably, there's different accents.
A lot of these people have different ones.
As long you stay away from maybe a Jar Jar Jar accent, then you're fine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good point.
Okay.
So, and I just saw, I just saw Bill Burr in King of Staten Island.
Oh.
I think he was wonderful in that.
And I think that I'd, that scene in the last season of the Mandalorian,
where they're in the little, you know, dining hall or whatever,
I thought that was excellent.
So yeah, 100%.
Let's do this.
Yeah.
Yeah, I agree.
Brett, like everyone was obsessed with Boba, you know,
and everyone still is there's something,
like there's an enigmatic quality of Boba,
that you want to know more of him.
And with bounty hunters in general,
which is why I think the Mandalorian is such an interesting show,
because just being a bounty hunter is complicated and complex.
And some of my favorite characters in Star Wars canon
and revealed in films are the most fun to watch.
So I would love to see his interaction with other bounty hunters
and see how that works.
Also, the article mentioned Carl Weathers.
I will never be upset if Carl Weathers enters the screen.
He elevated the entire show every time he was there.
Yeah, great point.
Arguably, during the best episode of, was that?
Let's make it stormy.
Let's get weather in there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No.
No.
No.
Just no.
Just no.
Oh boy.
You see that little lit by Alex?
It's an old Asian hotball with that lip bite.
Oh my God.
Uh, definitely.
Malcolm, what's your thoughts on this?
Malaga, do you a fan of Mandalorian?
Do you want to see, uh, characters coming back?
I mean,
like the idea with Alex. I like the Cobb Van thing because you don't bring Timothy
Allof him for one episode for God's sake. So what do you think about it? Malcolm. Oh, I wouldn't be
surprised if Cobb was like a regular throughout the season. I wouldn't be surprised if Bill Burr was also
on it a lot more. So I would I love all of these ideas. I would love to see Boeufet interact with
these characters more. And I would love to see Boeufet interact with these characters more. And I would love to
see them. I'm so
excited that they're bringing so many
cartoon characters from Clone Wars
and Rebels into
the live action. And I hope they
keep doing that. Can you imagine
how awesome it would be to see
Boa Fet have to interact with
Hondo Naka?
It would be amazing.
So I just hope we
keep getting that.
So yeah, very excited.
Ezra, my friend.
Yeah, that would be great to see
Honda. I love Honda.
Also,
also, I mean,
down the road to see a live action
Assange Ventress, wherever the timeline fits
for to appear. Right?
That would be awesome to see for sure.
So there's so many
that could, people are still dying to see
Cadbane live action. They want to see
Cadbane live action.
I think we're going to get, I actually
think one of my predictions
might be, I know there's a comic
book that I think was called
the War of Bounty Hunters or
What was it?
It was something like that where it introduced,
yeah, the war of the bounty hunters, I believe it was,
but I think that we will get introduction
to some other bounty hunters, like Cadbane.
If we follow in the footsteps of what Mandalorian did,
which was introduced Boba Fett and Fennickshand,
and then kind of tease that as a way
to what we're getting the book of Boba Fett,
then we might see that here
where they're trinkling in a new character
or a character that, like, Cadbane,
that they're going to focus on.
because I think Cadbane is just one that so many people are like,
this guy needs to be focused.
Yeah, a thousand percent of you with that.
I mean, I'm still hoping for my Dengar boys to,
my Dengar army to create a, you know,
create a stir to make a spinoff for my Dengar friend.
Dengar.
Hey, come on.
One more time.
I think we might see Bill Burr in the rages of the New Republic.
I think that's a possibility to have him be a part of that.
That could be interesting because certainly the way he ended the last episode he was on,
it seemed like a really positive place that his kind of record was expunged,
and he's now got kind of a new path to walk where he can dictate what he wants to do with his life.
So being a part of the Rangers of the New Republic could be interesting,
especially like you mentioned, Brett, that last episode of his where he showed his anger
at what the empire had done to his life.
And he kind of let that out in a moment and killed.
dude so that's certainly possible
Boba fucking Boba
Give it a Jawa juice
A fucking Jawa juice
My fucking Jolla
Anyway
What do you guys think
I was gonna say
I was gonna move on to another topic
Because Star Wars
Speaking of some animated Star Wars
There are some rumors now that Star Wars detours
Is actually going to be released by Disney
If you don't know what Star Wars Dut
tours is it's basically more of a comedic take on the events of what happened with the
prequel and original trilogy, but it was made in 2012, and then right after Disney acquired
Lucasfilm, they put the kibosh on it. They didn't release it for, just so that it wouldn't,
they wouldn't have that same tone and confuse people with the sequel trilogy, the upcoming
sequel trilogy. But now that there has been enough fan demands, I've heard about this through
the George Lucas talk show.
which Griffin Newman is on.
And it looks like it'll be released.
It might be released on Disney Plus.
So I'm hopefully going to, hopefully we'll all get to see that because they have a great cast.
And I mean, they have 39 episodes that are produced.
So hopefully that'll be a nice little fun thing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Any more animated Star Wars we can get, I'm all down for.
And I'm excited to see what they would do in the stories they can tell.
about you, Steph?
Yeah, animated Star Wars.
What is the thing I'm, one of the things I'm most excited for, why is the name slipping my name, what we're getting?
It's one of the most famous Japanese anime studios is taking, um, Studio Ghibli or whatever.
No, it's not Studio Ghibli.
It's Ghibli.
Yeah.
No, it's, it's, it's, it's still.
I tried, Steph.
I tried to be here.
That was like super.
Ghibli.
It's Ghibli.
It's Ghibli.
Sorry, chat.
Oh, here it goes.
I'm canceled.
Yeah, well, they're just taking on some of the classic Star Wars stories and animating it in the classic Japanese anime style.
And I think it's so, such a cool opportunity to just grow a different fan base, but then also intersect with people like me who watch anime and love Star Wars and think that the two.
could be interconnected quite perfectly.
So I'm really excited about that.
Crunch roll.
Star Wars Visions.
Oh, no.
You say what's...
Yeah, punchy roll is good.
Yeah, you know that.
Said that kind of right as well.
Yeah.
You know your shit, man.
I just hear what you say.
Star Wars Visions is the name of the series.
God.
That's what it is.
And, yeah.
Yeah.
That's going to be really awesome.
What do you want to see, Alex?
What do you want to see?
I mean, the bad batch is...
Right.
I'm excited for that.
That's coming out on May 4th.
But that's...
Other than that, I mean, I don't really care.
Anything they announce I'm on board for.
Yeah.
So it's like, I know I'll get enough storytelling to satiate my appetite.
Hey, oh.
So real quick update on this.
So this is, like you said, this is going to be anime type stuff,
but it's also tying into the book, Ronan,
that is coming out in October of this year.
That will have, it'll be connected to one of the shorts for sure.
And we've seen this.
Look, we've seen this, the anime thing with Blade Runner.
We've seen the anime thing, like these little shorts attached to stuff.
Throughout over the last few years as a way to kind of accentuate,
Matrix with the Animatrix had a couple, I think, of anime
anime shorts in that Animatrix anthology.
So an anime is starting to grow again, the interest in it,
everything is starting to grow again.
So it makes all kinds of sense for Star Wars to be a part of this.
And don't forget that it was a Kirakurasawa's hidden fortress.
There was a huge part of influencing Star Wars from the beginning,
influencing George Lucas from the beginning.
So to go back to the Japanese roots and take advantage
of a Japanese art form in anime to further Star Wars
is keeping within the overall makeup of Star Wars,
the overall structure of Star Wars,
and that's a positive in a million ways.
And anime, any version of Star Wars characters in anime,
it just sounds awesome.
Yeah.
I completely agree.
Star Wars and anime are,
under the same family tree.
I think my favorite part about anime is that it gets really,
it's animated, so you're thinking that you're not gonna get
that serious of storytelling, but it is really deep
and really, they take time to tell the stories
and really develop characters.
And a way that I think Star Wars can really benefit from,
and they're not afraid to go to the dark side, literally,
get really dark.
Some of the shows, like the main characters,
the main plot lines are really dark,
and you're like, they're showing this to
kids, but I actually think it's a benefit because kids start to understand deeper things like
grief and loss that they'll show through different animated shows.
So I think it's only good.
And in your right, Roka, I see so many like rappers and hip hop artists and musicians now just
watching anime getting into anime.
There's definitely an uprise in the viewership.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it's smart.
It's smart business.
Like we mentioned, WWE, it's smart to attach to what the young people are into, what the
young people are doing.
That's how you keep,
you know,
keep it going for generation.
So it's smart to move
into the anime stuff now that's big
and bad again.
Badass again,
rather.
All right,
what are we out to?
Oh,
and ladies,
gentlemen,
please keep sending in
streaming in the stream lab,
super chats and schmobots.
We've got a little bit of an issue with them,
but please keep sending them in.
We'll get to them and read them as they come in,
but we want to get them.
So please send them in.
We will read them ourselves if we can't get the Schmobot to read it.
We will absolutely read it ourselves.
But is there an issue with the site?
Can,
can people tell us,
if there's still an issue,
are you not able?
I saw some people saying
they can't send it in.
Okay.
Yeah,
at all with their credit cards
and our PayPal.
So keep trying,
let us know.
All right.
Thank you for doing that.
You could send Bitcoin to my address.
Yeah.
Roca's on the same page.
Listen,
I'll send it to our direct PayPal accounts.
Scouts.
Rotten scowder.
I'm counting down until I get the text from Christian.
All right.
Where's the next story?
Yeah, what's the next story, Alex?
Let's talk about Justin Timberlake,
because he's set a new series at Apple TV Plus for his next project,
adapting Chuck Berris' confessions of a dangerous mind.
In the book,
it could have been anybody.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, that's super cool. Bye, bye, bye.
100% Timberlake.
Do not degrade Johnson Fretcher by saying that could be any singer.
That was a dead-on Justin.
I'm bringing sexy.
What if they find the unedited tracks and that's him?
A shirt and tie.
A shirt and tie.
Oh, boy.
I mean, just silly.
You know, J.C. is over there going, I fucking told you guys for years.
This fucking can't sing.
I told you guys.
I should be the star.
Told you.
Yeah.
No, J.C. really.
Y'all slept on J.C.
And now we have J.T. to deal with.
I'm not doing this anymore.
Cut the shit.
You know J.C. was the crown print.
and we just decided to give it to JT with his ramen hair.
It's true.
He was the better singer, of my opinion.
He was always the better singer, my opinion.
We're not supposed to get political, John.
Come on.
Chill out.
Chill out.
Sorry, sorry.
Anyway, all right, Alex.
Sorry, Alex.
Oh, boy.
Okay.
Yeah, just Timberlake.
In the book,
in the book of Confessions of a Dangerous,
Brian Barris claimed,
Chuck Barris claimed that his TV hosting gig
on the Gong show was a front for his real job,
a CIA assassin who killed enemies of the state
in the 60s and 70s.
Now George Clooney directed the 2002 film
about the same story with Sam Rockwell starring,
but Roca, what do you think of the J.T.,
of the choice for J.T.
And would you want to see the story told again
and give us your best J.T. impression?
Oh, wait, you already did.
Oh, wait.
Confessions of a dangerous mind.
Yeah, listen, I think it's great.
I love it.
I want to see it.
Yeah, I mean, look, he's been building as an actor over the last few years,
and people have enjoyed his work, and he's gotten better.
So that last film that he did with the Fisher-Stevens director,
got a lot of positive reactions from people.
So to me, overall, I think this is not a bad idea for him to take the next step,
and this is a fun way to play both sides.
Sam Rockwell killed this movie.
He was great in this movie.
Drew Baramore was great, Julie.
Roberts was good in this movie, Clooney.
Of course, I think he had a small part Clooney, and all of it was really interesting.
And if it's a true story, and, you know, Barris has always claimed that it's true,
then it makes sense to turn it into a TV series because that was one movie focusing on one adventure.
But if he had multiple adventures.
He had multiple adventures.
E.
R, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, bye, bye, bye, yee, e, e, well, it looks like stream moms are working, so thank
very much, Johnston.
Thank you.
Thank you, Justin.
Yeah, get it in.
Stop cheating on Jessica.
Anyway, all right, what's, uh, yeah, so I'm down.
I'm down for this.
So what about you, Steph?
Do you like the idea of Justin Tumberlake doing this thing?
I, this is a blind spot.
I didn't even know about this story, really.
I need to watch this movie with Sam Rockwell.
I love Sam Rockwell.
I obviously love George Clooney and Drew Barrymore.
So that sounds like an excellent film for me to watch.
do I need to
this show with Justin Timberlake
I don't see myself doing that
but I think that from what I know about this character
I could definitely see Justin Timber
like being able to do that
a kind of role where you're like two-faced a little bit
I think that goes into the end with a lot of things
that he's done but I yeah
I do agree that I think that he's done a lot more acting
I've heard he was
always really good on S&L. I knew that he had like a potential for that type of performance.
So it makes total sense and I'm not going to knock his hustle. That's good for him, booked and busy.
I just don't really see myself going straight to the show unless I hear from all my friends.
You have to watch this show because of the writing or the directing. I won't necessarily go because Justin Timberlake's name is attached to it.
But I think it's a great story.
Yeah. Fair. Sheridan, what's your thoughts on this one, brother? Well, of course I was a gong show head.
back in the day.
I think it's a little,
it's going to be maybe a tough sell
to people, the youngsters of today.
I don't know.
I mean, I think there should be a gong show documentary
if there is one that is pushed really hard
before something like this.
Because I don't know if the story's interesting
unless you knew, like if you watched the gong show
and you saw what a goofball show it was
and then you think the fact that this host was,
this assassin.
You know, that's,
that's the part of it
that I'm not sure about.
But I'll check it out.
I thought the,
I don't,
I didn't love the movie.
Did you really,
did you like it or was it,
was it just kind of,
yeah,
it was like,
oh, that was all right.
You know,
it wasn't, you know.
Most of his movies are like,
I mean,
I think good night,
good luck is the real standard.
And then everything else
he's done has been like,
oh, I liked it.
Like, I'd have marched.
I liked it.
A monument's man I did not like.
But this,
but I thought confessions
of a dangerous mind
was fun because of
Rockwell and what he was doing.
But I hear you.
So, you know, I don't know.
I might watch the movie.
I'm not sure.
So whatever it's going.
Yeah.
Put it down on the stage.
There's my Chuck Bears.
I love it.
I love it.
You got to do the dance.
You got to do the little dance.
All right.
What did you think there, Alex?
Are you going to see a just,
do you want to see more from Justin Timberlake?
Are you going to go?
go, are you excited to see him kind of taking on this thing? And also Apple TV Plus get involved
with another big name to try to bring some more content in here. Well, yeah, I mean, he did
Palmer on Apple TV which just released. And it's been on my queue, but I've just been like,
oh, I have something else to watch. It seems like, you know, he's trying to get back into the
film game after they, he tried to, like, he tried to make it happen back in the early 2010s with
social network, friends of benefits and such.
So, I mean, he's my favorite of the in sync boys.
Wow.
Like, I've, yeah, I mean, like, I've followed him since I was, what, six, seven.
And just a big idol for me in terms of music and performing.
And so I want to see what he can do if he still's got the charisma.
Because it's been a few years since he's really done live action.
stuff and like given it his
all. So. Bummer is
a... Danis-Jox and Snips Slip would like to have a word
with you.
No, shit. Okay.
Barring that.
That apology was not enough either.
But go ahead.
No. Yeah, we don't see it right now.
But I mean, I would watch this.
The hook, the hook is good enough. I haven't seen
confessions of a dangerous mind.
The movie. So,
yeah, the hook is good. I agree.
Yeah.
I forgot about social network. He was
great in that.
Yeah.
he was playing like
but it was playing like what you think he'd play right
kind of a smarmy guy right
with some kind of nefarious
so is this character it seems right
yeah that's why I think it is kind of a good
a good pick in that sense
will this be a series or a movie
I got confused there as I was commenting on it
is it a series or movie
I think it's a series
series so it makes sense
as I was saying for it to be a series
because you already saw the movie
so let's see you play with it but
interesting I want if Clooney
will have any involvement in it as kind of like maybe
an executive producer overall or have some
kind of input on this thing, considering how much work you did
for that. Could be.
I want to ask Malcolm, are you
in sync or Backstreet Boys?
My
older brother had
NSYNC posters on the wall.
Well, don't sell out your family, Malcolm.
You know, but
well, it was 20-something
years ago. But yeah,
yeah, it was probably, I
I heard a lot more in sync than Backstreet Boys.
This is a battle in the Smodown community.
This is a battle.
This battle has raged for quite some time,
Insync versus Backstreet Boys.
I'm on the Backstreet Boys side of things
and other people are on the insinx side.
Gilmore, I think Gilmore is on the,
I can't remember where Gilmore is at,
but he had a very strong opinion on this.
I think he's on the instinct side of things.
But he's kind of putting his finger on the scale
because he wants to throw in all JT's,
hits as a way to balance out
the backstreet boy or or you know
kind of put the scale
heavier for the in sync guys but I think the
backstreet boys is a band I think
we're better than in sync
in my opinion. I will go to war
with you. Yeah. All right
Clark Wolf waited on this and happy birthday
to Clark Wolf by the way today's her birthday
so send the commissioner some
oh no wait. What is she now?
Commissioner de facto
Commissioner former commissioner
give her some love. I saw the
back of
with her and grace, whew, who, who, who.
Lionesses sniffing at each other.
It was brilliant to watch.
But yeah, she was waiting.
Winston weighed in on this as well.
I think Ben Goddard had some thoughts on it as well.
But you're an in sync person, Steph.
Is that what you're saying?
Oh, yeah.
Massive in sync.
First concert I ever went to with my twin for our birthday.
It was unbelievable.
Had every single song memorized.
I don't know why.
So Backstreet Boys,
a few songs were on my radar.
Like, I want it that way.
But I, I, they weren't really on my radar.
I didn't, I had their albums,
but I just really wasn't listening to them like it.
It was kind of like, I feel like,
whoever you're like, the school listened to,
that was it.
And then the other person wasn't really around.
I just didn't pay much attention to them as in sync all day.
Okay.
Alex, you're in in sync camp as well.
In sync.
I think they had more like hits per album.
And like, they only had three.
albums, I believe, and Backstreet Boys just kept going on, like, for a while.
So I think...
They just had another hit?
Like, what, last year?
Yeah, they had another album, I think, but in sync, my boys.
All right.
Brett, where do you fall in this?
I fall in the...
I was listening to grunge music when these bands were...
I mean, like, yeah, I'm not proud of it.
I probably made fun of these bands heavily amongst my...
fellow grungers, you know.
Yeah.
This was right around when I was in college and I look like Slater from dazed and confused.
So, yeah, there wasn't a lot of Backstreet Boys listening going on or, but I'd say between
the two of them, I'm going to go in sync just because of the continued career of J.T.
I think that I will lump him in with that because he moved on and had a good career after
that. So there you go. Sorry. Sorry,
everyone. Sorry to
both bands that I made
fun of you because I'm sure your
paychecks were horribly
affected by
my lack of support
to your groups. I'm sure in the
grunge side, it was Pearl Jam versus
Nirvana. I'm sure that was the
battle that raged
for years. I actually had
a Soundgarden Pearl Jam
rival because I wasn't, I like
Soundgarden. I wasn't, my
friend was a sound garden guy. I was a pearl jam guy. And we often got into
battles about that. But eventually, we
settled that. And we settled that rivalry. And I think a lot of people
need to settle. Go back, settle that Soundgarden
pearl jam rivalry you had. And then you can all agree that Stone Temple
Pilots was a rip off of both of them. Um, no, come on.
Oh, dear. We called them pearl chain.
You know what?
It's not around to defend himself.
I know.
No, I actually grew an appreciation to them later, but it's weird the stuff like, yeah, again, in the grungy world, there were stuff.
You were, you know, certain people sellouts, and yeah, we called them Pearl Chain.
If you like Stone Temple Pilots, it was like, no, they're total rip off of that.
It's just, I think back of all these dumb things that we would fight about.
But I also just want to say, I wasn't telling people to die because of it on the internet.
So we're just kind of having friendly arguments and stuff like that.
So you can, you can like.
The Pearl Jam is the like deep voice singer, the,
huh, right?
Okay.
That's a good band.
Bollos kiss.
Bollos kiss.
Yeah.
Which, you know, I didn't think my mother said they wouldn't last and they kind of did.
I mean, you know, I think, what was it?
Yield was one of their last really good albums,
but they're still doing shows.
I don't see anybody else.
I don't see any of those grunge bands that has a serious XM channel,
and Pearl Jam does.
They're the only one that does.
The fact that I know them, too,
and I wasn't into the grunge era, says...
I hope you're smoking that you don't know who Pearl Jam is.
Please don't make it your gosh.
What?
She does know who.
I do know.
Okay, but you were like,
people that sing's kind of like,
uh-huh.
Did I not nail it?
No.
Spoke him.
Give me a lyric.
Give me a lyric.
Jeremy.
Yeah, Jeremy.
Wait.
Jeremy.
Jeremy.
Jeremy.
Okay.
You know what's great.
You bring that up for it.
It occurred to me as you were talking, like,
um,
what's his face is the,
is the last dudes still around of the four of them,
right?
Because Wheeland passed away,
Cornell passed away and,
uh,
Cobain passed away.
So he's the last one left kind of,
which is really strange to think about,
man.
I didn't just occurred to me as you were talking about it.
Crazy.
And I mean,
what,
uh,
into the wild,
they had a,
they had a,
they had a,
they had a,
again,
I,
you know,
I don't love them like I used to
and I don't I wouldn't follow them around
but they did you know they kept going
you know I'm a pro jam got
definitely yeah definitely but I love stone temple
but don't come for Stone Temple
by and again no I be I had a
I had a like my wife
and I listen to a lot of us she's like no
you got to stop this and we listen to a lot and I appreciate
their music a lot more than I did back
when I was just going with the with the
with the rest of my dirt heads
but we can all agree
that red hot chile-the-peper sucks.
We can all agree that, right?
No.
I'm more of an uplift mofo party plan,
kind of Red Hot Chili Pepper's era.
Arrow-planned and shit.
Red hot chile-fers was one of my, like,
influences when I was starting to play music,
when I was starting to learn guitar.
Because it was like relatively simple, like fun riffs,
but I didn't know that they're,
not universally, but not light universally.
Some people claim that Anthony Kedas can't sing, that he can't hold a tune.
But, you know, I know Roxy just woke up, but just like,
yeah, she's somewhere, somewhere she's coming here.
She's about to set flames, set everything on fire for what we say.
But, like, yeah, I mean, but I like that.
I love Brett Hatchett.
Oh, well, I don't really.
Flea is an insane basis.
And, you know, that even went on to play with Jane's edition.
Here, I'm going to give you your history lesson here.
Oh, no.
The year was 1998.
I got a $50 ticket to see James' addiction.
Come on, send in your Schmobots if you're going to hear my seeing Jane's addiction in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills story for 50 bucks with the, yeah, anyway.
What you do have to do is a drunk Brett talking smack at some point.
Oh, yeah.
Who am I?
We got to find somebody to talk smack about.
Let's see.
I've got the music for that one.
You got any stories that I can talk smack about?
What's up next?
Let's see what the stories lead us, and then I'll just find a time.
Okay.
I think we have to do another promotion, right?
We're at the top of the hour, so.
Let's do that.
Take into that, and then we'll roll out to the rest of the show.
I agree, John.
So what's everybody itching to get back to do?
Now that things are kind of opening it up.
I'm certainly itching to get out there and maybe take some flights, see my family.
I actually do have a flight that I'm going to go see my little niece that I haven't met yet, who is being baptized in May, and I'm going to be flying.
So I want to make sure the next time I head to the airport, my experience is fast, safe, and easy as possible.
And that's why I'm excited to talk about Clear today.

Do it, people. Get cleared for takeoff.
How'd you like that?
Take-off.
You are the best.
Alex, I heard we have some breaking news.
Do we want to talk about it?
G.I. Joe is being moved up.
No, I'm just joking.
Snick-a!
Snick-a!
You could not call that.
No, apparently Lucy Lou has been cast as a villain.
You want to take us through this, Alex?
Yes, so Lucy Lou was cast in Shazam Fury of the Gods.
She'll be playing the villainous Calypso, the second daughter of
Atlas and Sister to Hespera,
played by Helen Niren.
She also joins Rachel Zegler,
and of course we have Asher Angel
returning as Billy and Zachary
Levi playing Shazam.
Broca, what do you think of Lucy Lou
being added to the cast?
When is that ever run negative?
Lucy Lou is a fantastic actress.
I'm excited to see her be a part of this.
I mean, I just be watching a little bit of Kill Bill
over the weekend randomly,
and Orinishi is still my favorite character
outside of Beatrix Kiddo and that entire six-hour opus or five-hour opus.
So she is phenomenal.
Anything she gets involved in immediately becomes elevated.
Elementary was great with her in it.
So I think this is a very, very wise move.
And bringing all these powerful, badass female actresses into the world of Shazam is great
because it balances out what, you know, Zachary's going to do with his smirking, you know, little quips and whatever to have other people there who know,
how to roll with that and still not lose the stakes.
Very, very smart overall.
So, Brab, what do you think?
I'm a Lucy Lou Sand since the day I was born.
I mean, if you just saw her, my sexuality was awakened when I saw Charlie's Angels
and when she goes into that room of all the men and just whips out everything and it's just
like a dominatrix queen.
I was like, oh my God, Lucy Lou on the scene.
But I agree she elevates everything.
her and Kill Bill was just magical from start to finish.
She brings so much dimension and depth to her characters.
And she really is, I don't, I am curious to know,
I haven't watched enough of her interviews if she's ever been asked that,
but it seems as though she's pretty selective about the role she picks,
or she's just not getting offered as much as she should,
because I think she's one of the best.
When people don't know who she is, it confuses me because she's Lucy fucking Lou,
and she's been in such good movies.
but I'm excited about this.
I think she fits him perfectly as a villain.
I think she fits into this Shazam story,
especially with the cast that's been announced.
So I'm looking forward to seeing her on another big screen movie.
Yeah.
I'm doing a little bit of quick work here, Brett,
but I don't see much about Calypso spelled that way
with the K in the DC universe.
So what do you think about this idea?
Because she'll be playing, what,
the daughter of the god Atlas and St.
sister to Helen Mirren. So that is a hell of a combo. What do you think about her joining the cast,
brother? Well, I like it. I was trying to do a little research myself because I have not seen Shazam.
I was like, we should have watched that last weekend. But I spelled Lou wrong, and I looked up Lucy Lou
Shazam, and I found a band called Lucy Lou or a performer name Lucy Lou on the app Shazam.
So I went down a rabbit hole that just was not helping.
me in any way while everybody was talking. But that being said, yes, Charlie's Angels stuff,
exactly. Lucy Lou absolutely love her. And I think that as far as, and she's a villain,
I'm assuming, yes, a villain role. Yeah, go for it. Give it to me. I need it now. And I need to watch
Shazam. I need to watch Shazam people. We just took like a roulette of like, I go, I want to see a
superhero movie. And we're thumbing through them. Like, I can't remember what people said about
Birds of Prey. And then 10 minutes
in and I went, now I remember. And we
stopped watching Birds of Prey.
So I think I'm going to add Shazam
to the list and get excited about
Lucy Lou joining. Boom.
Nice. Who's next?
Oh yeah.
Love Lucy Lou.
It looks like she's been busy with Elementary
for the past few years.
So, which explains
like she's been doing
Kung Fu Panda a lot and I feel like
she's okay with, you know, not doing too much
work. And now she's getting back in the game. I love that she's going to be the villain here.
Yeah. Give it to me. Yeah, there's no backstory on them that I can see on these characters that
there. Because also Rachel Ziegler, who apparently has really done incredible work in Westside
story, the Stevens Spielberg version of it will be a part of this as well as the sister of Helen Merritt
and I guess Lucy Lou.
So this will be interesting to see how this all works throughout.
And remember, it's not just Sazam.
It's also Black Adam.
So they're really fleshing out this world fully
and seeing what will come of it for sure.
And what Hawk Man and so many other characters
are going to be involved in Black Adam as well.
So this is going to be an interesting side universe
that they're creating in the Shazam world.
And Lucy Lou is a great addition to that for sure.
What do you all think?
Let us know with your stream lab superchat Shmobots.
What's your favorite Lucy Lou performance?
What would you want to see from her in this?
Let us know.
Where are we at, Malcolm?
Did we, you know, can you let me know where we're at?
Because I didn't need to, how hard do I need to pitch you?
Yeah, well, stream labs seems to still be down.
It looks like some superchats are coming in, but we prefer stream labs.
Right.
Well, if they're down, there's nothing I can do about it.
Yeah.
You prefer them.
Thankfully, they're down.
Nothing we can do.
I hope S&L brings Lucy Lou back.
I know she was the first Asian host of S&L history,
so it would be awesome to see her do part two if she,
when this movie is released.
Yeah, agree.
Can I just, is anybody excited about this West Side Story remake,
or is it sound like something we don't need?
We were having such a positive and fun video.
We said no politics, Brett.
No politics, friends.
I don't remember talking about this,
but I was like, they're doing what to who?
Yeah.
The right way to present.
Or it was cast.
I was like, no, thanks.
That was back in 2018.
I still remember that.
Because he was cast right after I saw the,
was that the mocking bird?
The bird movie he did.
Oh, bird box?
Birdcage.
The kajafo.
I saw a test screening of it,
and I was like,
oh, he's not good in it at all.
and then you got cast
in West Side stores.
No.
He's Baby Driver and the Fald Narsars.
Is that who you're talking about?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, okay.
I like both of those.
Goldfinch?
Goldfinch, yes.
Oh.
That film was bad.
But nobody was good in that film, man.
Nobody was good in that film.
Sure.
The little version of him was good, but...
Yeah.
Baby Driver.
I like Baby Driver.
I don't love it as much as other people,
but I like it.
Certainly like it.
I thought Edgar Wright did.
a great job with that. But yeah, Brett, for me, I'm like, I don't think you should tackle
classic films unless you're going to deliver something better than a film that won 11
Oscars or 10 Oscars. Same thing with Ben Hurd, that horrible remake they did with the guy from
Boardwalk Empire, that Houston guy, boy, and Toby Kebill. This was horrific. It was horrific.
And like, why? Why the fuck are you touching any of this stuff if you can't bring the level
of expertise? And look, I love Steven Spielberg, certainly.
but an old white dude isn't going to tell me this story correctly in a way that was vibrant.
Jerome Robbins was still kind of young when he was doing it, Robert Wise.
So like to me, there's, I would have loved to have seen a Latino director behind this to maybe show that a little bit more from the shark side of things.
Do you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
I just would like to have seen that a little bit more in my side.
I think that's, sorry, go ahead.
That's kind of what I was seeing with it.
I mean, I was like, what?
Steven's, what, I don't, this is, this needs, and there is some stuff from, yeah, I don't want to get into it, but yeah, I mean, you know, maybe have an actual Puerto Rican character play the lead in, who actually sings, right? She didn't, or no, she didn't sing.
Natalie did not sing, no. She did not sing. She just played the, so that, there has been some issues, and she was not Puerto Rican, see how well I say that.
But, yeah, it was, yeah, this was definitely something that I was, like,
Like when you said, I'm like, no, they're not.
Are you making a joke?
They've got Rita in it.
So it looks like-
Of course, Rita's got to come back.
She's got to come back as Anita, hopefully.
I absolutely love her.
I love Rita Marie.
Everyone's talking about how good my voice is
and we're like failing to see Roka's talent.
That's been shining to this entire episode.
Speaking of Spielberg films,
I just watched the Terminal for the first.
time. Yeah. Okay, I loved it. Yes. It was a good film. Yeah, it was a fun watch. It took me a few minutes to
adjust to Tom Hanks accent and buy into it a little bit. Um, Catherine Zita Jones's character
was awash in a lot of senses. But I mean, she was like a classic female side character
written in like every rom-com film that's ever been made. But I love Catherine Zita Jones in any form.
truly. But it was a fun. It was a fun
film. Spielberg, I haven't watched as many
movies as I thought I did when I
look back at his collection. So I've been
trying to see, it's good ones to watch
with the family, because everyone kind of wins. No one's
like complaining about the
if it's too scary or whatever. But yeah, it was fun. It was fun.
It's a deceptively good cast.
Diego Luna, Chi McBride.
Yeah.
Soie Sal Dana, Zeta Jones, and
Hank's Stanley Tucci.
I think the guy's name, Shibaka Henley, who plays the second underneath Tucci.
Yeah.
All of, I mean, this all great stuff throughout the movie.
Oh, yeah.
And the guy, the older Indian actor who's appeared in Royal Tenant Bombs and other films.
Oh, Kumar Palana?
Yeah, I think that's his name.
I'm looking at up.
I'm not.
I'm Steph when hit good, good, Brett.
Favorite part about the movie was the diversity in the cast.
for the time that it was made especially.
Him running up to the plane with his broom every single time.
Keep tears.
I just cry every time because I'm the son of immigrants
and that story of people coming to this country,
people wanting to be a part of this country.
That's very ingrained from birth for me
because of how my parents spoke about
how much they loved coming to this country.
No matter what hardships they endured being here,
they loved coming here.
And so that comes through in the terminal, in my opinion.
Yeah, and to work, to work.
Yes.
Migrants get this awful rep of just so wrong because most immigrants who come here,
including all of my family members, were just grateful to work in any capacity.
So I did love that theme.
Exactly.
Do you think a lot of them, though, feel like, you know,
I felt when I first saw the Hollywood Star Walk of Fame, I was like,
oh, it's just like a shit-stained Spider-Man and, you know, a bad Charlie Chap.
Is that how immigrants feel when they come?
Yeah, definitely judging the sidewalk.
As soon as they come here,
oh, this filthy America.
Wow.
Sidewalk, dude.
Who was meeting this lie about this place?
It usually come from the cleanest streets
in their own country.
Yes, yes.
There's a reason people come over, man.
They want to have a better life.
Anyway, that's great.
I love that you love this stuff.
That makes my heart very happy.
That was a good one.
That was a good one.
All right.
Any other recent watches this weekend?
Like I said, Thunder Force.
Don't watch it.
For the love of God, don't watch it.
I like, I didn't mind it.
Did you?
Okay.
All right.
My girlfriend liked it too.
So I.
So much that it's hard.
Like Octavia,
actually,
actually I don't even want to go on record and say that.
But I do love those two actresses a lot.
So it's hard not to enjoy the ride as it's going down.
and I know that it probably made a lot of like plus size people feel really good about like
fair point yeah I saw like yell yell who's one of my favorite people in the space to comment on
it a lot and like was really happy to see it so that's cool that's the point of film yeah yeah that's fair
my girlfriend liked it she was laughing through it so yeah I saw some of the other reviews that weren't
that positive I just felt overall it wasn't a strong film but certainly the chemistry with octavia and
Melissa is worth it.
And Jason Bateman in the crab hands,
Jesus Christ, that's some funny shit.
I don't know. I can't.
Jason's always funny.
So what can I say?
I didn't know.
I saw them do an ASMR bit that I think they stole from Miss Kate Mulligan and myself.
And I didn't know what that was for.
So then I looked up Thunder for.
So I don't know anything about this.
It was,
they 100% stole it from you and Kate because I will never watch ASM
at the top of it.
And I really don't.
mean that with my more.
Yeah, I check this out for something fun.
You know what?
John Roka recommendation that we're really enjoying is breeders.
Yeah, that is just pure insanity,
but also I recommend, and I told John this,
have the subtitles on and a book of British slang next to you.
Because a lot of us were like,
was that, that was funny, right?
We don't know what.
That's a fair point.
It's not all just
Ella,
Govna, Govna.
Yeah, yeah.
It's not fish and chips,
Govna, Govna.
No, it's, yeah,
I really, I think John knows my brain
and knows how things work inside there.
And I was just the first,
the first thing, yeah,
when he's going, his kids are acting up
and he's going in to talk to them.
I'm not going to ruin it,
but I was just like, oh!
And my wife looks over and she,
oh, he knows you, doesn't he?
I'm like, yeah, John knows me.
I don't know what I mean when I saw the show.
I was like, oh, man, Fred's going to love this.
I think Kate would love it too.
I saw some of them, the first episode of them on Amazon Prime.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, it has a pretty amazing cast.
It's scary.
I didn't know that.
So I'm getting it.
But yeah, I'm getting used to it.
I like it.
I don't love it.
I also am watching Invincible now week to week.
love that show so much.
And then what else did I watch?
Yeah, that's it.
I'm happy through the current episode of Invincible.
It's so damn good that show.
It's so good.
So good.
Except I want them to wear different clothes in high school.
They keep wearing the same effing clothes in high school.
Maybe that's a cop out in terms of money like they could.
Animation.
Yeah.
I think it's a Saturday morning cartoon kind of vibe.
episode. That's how they kind of were
when I was growing up, like, you know, kind of same
uh, same
You had blood and skulls?
Well, I mean, they're same vibe.
Hello.
Pokemon rated R.
Okay.
Jackie Chan rated R. Let's do it.
Um, yes.
But yeah, it's Oscar season, so I'm catching up on the dog.
I watched all the documentary shorts.
Oh, cool.
Uh, and I also watched White Tiger and the
Quo body side.
You don't want the international feature.
So just catching up on those.
What do you think about White Tiger?
I thought it was good.
It was very funny.
I just, I don't know, I, I just didn't get emotionally invested as I thought I would.
So it wasn't for me, essentially.
Okay.
It seems like it would be totally down my alley, but I just couldn't get into it all the way.
I didn't love it either.
You like it?
Really?
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
I liked it, and I thought it was well done, but I did not love it.
Yeah, I haven't heard, I haven't heard over one.
you gotta see this movie from anyone I know
whose opinion I trust but certainly they've been like
it's a good baby it's just not the greatest
what about the father did you end up seeing the father Alex
have you seen that yet yeah I saw it at A5 Pest a while ago
yeah yeah yeah no I really like the father
I also actually saw the stage production last February
before things shut down and so I didn't realize that
the movie was the adaptation of that
right right I saw Alfred Molina in the adaptation
in the stage production.
So that was really cool.
But yeah, it's actually a really good script,
really well done.
I like the stage adaptation better
just because, you know,
you're actually seeing it unfro in front of your eyes.
But it was a good adaptation of it.
Okay.
That's the next one I need to watch.
Yeah.
All right.
Where else are we off to?
Alex, should we get into some stream lives?
We've got a half an hour left in the show.
Well, before we do that,
I just got to point out that,
Schmode, we still got some matches this week.
Oh, yeah.
We don't have any paper views this week, actually.
but we still have some excellent matches coming your way.
For patrons, you're getting the Adam Witt versus Tom Harper's Star Wars match
dropping at 2 p.m.
So make sure you're a Patreon, patron.
And you can sign up to be a patron at Patreon.com.
6,890 donated $100.
For all you guys.
Thanks for keeping up my positivity on a daily basis.
Hope this helps get your week off to a good start.
Love you all.
Racha hit us with that Tedler.
POSITTOPTOP to end the show today, please. Peace, love and positivity.
Lux love, man.
Yeah, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
So Malcolm said that you can stream labs in with credit card info, but I think PayPal is having
an issue. Oh, okay. So make sure to send those in if you can. Right. Please send them in that way,
because we're at 270 right now. We'd love to get those extra 230 before we're. We'd love to get those
extra 230 before we hit the 500.
So if you sent the PayPal and it doesn't work,
if you could send it through your card stuff, do it now
because we've got about half an hour left in the show
as we go through your stream labs and talk about other things.
So please send in your donations.
And thank you for that $100 donation again.
Very, very kind.
Yes, thank you.
And it's our pleasure, please.
What have got, Alex?
Then we also have on Thursday,
we have Jeffrey Khan from the Defense Doc Exchange
versus Tom.
Clicking during a singles match.
Who do you got there, Roca?
Are you King Khan? Are you kidding?
Ladies and gentlemen, you're not ready for King Khan.
Nobody is ready for King Khan.
He is coming for Flickinger.
None of his muscles are sarcastic Captain America
Falcon and Winter Soldier takes are going to stop what's going to happen later on this week.
It's going to be a heck of a match.
I know that, and I can't wait to see what happens,
but I just have a feeling about the con, man.
We chose him when we chose him because we like him.
And the kids are a little sarcastic.
I got to slap him back sometimes.
He got a little mouth on him, but I like it.
I like it. I like it. I respect it.
You got to have stones to survive in the schmodeown, so I appreciate it.
And then finally we have Lon Harris versus Drew McQueenie in a singles match this Friday.
So we got a busy week and an even busier week next week with we have three regular matches.
And then on the 24th, we have our free-for-all on featuring 40 competitors.
So make sure you get your tickets for that as.
well, that's April 24th.
So we got some good stuff happening.
Does Christian do anything while he's not on the show?
That's no question.
Like, is he doing, like, what is he doing exactly?
Aside from, you know, lining up all these matches and stuff.
Yeah.
I mean, it must be super not complicated behind the scenes.
No, no, not at all.
Beth, can you tell us anything about what's going on with the FCL tomorrow?
Yes, Steph, what's up?
Oh, absolutely. If you just give me a quick sec to the point.
Sounds good.
Absolutely, Alex. Let me just get my agenda down.
No, not it.
Did they change it to the Flaus?
Yeah, I mean, well, that's like because we have been talking about just like deleting all future matches and just making it a Flaus Entertainment show because no one really can.
cares about anyone but the Foss, but tomorrow will be back 3 to 5 p.m. PT on the Twitch channel.
We have two really great matches going on. We have the collector night versus the spoiler
Nick Harley at 315. That will be starting. And then moving on at 4 p.m. We will be the Kingsman
Devin Stewart versus coffee outlaw. Coffee outlaw. I've heard this outlaw name. And the first thing
that I thought was, does he know whose toes he's stepping on?
Does he put that means?
And I've been waiting to ask you, Roka, how do you feel about that?
How does the outlaw feel about that?
Oh, he knows how I feel about it.
We had it back and forth on Twitter about it.
And, you know, they say the sincerest form of flattery is imitation.
So I'm going to take it for that for right now, but I don't like it.
There's only one outlaw.
There can only be one outlaw.
So enjoy yourself down there, but you've got a hell of a name to live up to if you're going to call yourself the outlaw.
So I better see belts around your waist because I put four of around mine, son.
So let me, Steve, you can put one around yours before or else I'm going to have you change that name.
I'm going to have you remove it from all your stuff, all your social media, all your YouTube channels, all that shit.
I'm going to have it banned.
Yeah, so we're really excited about that.
The matches have been epic so far.
It's really cool to see players either who have been in the movie trivia Shmodeon
League before and now are in the FCL or just new players who have been fans of the league
or introduced to the league in other which ways and have been like really studying,
trying to make a name for themselves.
And it's just a different view of it's a different type of competition.
And it's really, really exciting to see these new players and players that want to take names
like the outlaw and see what they do and if they can live up to the outlaw.
Yeah. Where's the, where's the Dan? Where's the Merle? Is there a Merle? Why don't you check that for God's sake.
Not yeah, but I did see some shit talking that said that they were the best since Murrell.
And I believe that's one of the fights. I'll find out who said that. I was like, oh, okay.
I love it. They all try to compare themselves. Everyone's the next Jordan. Yeah. All right. What's, what's next, Alex? What do we go?
Okay. Let's get to some stream labs now that I have a few.
in the can. Pac-Man Dwayne says,
I totally agree with Roka about
Steph would love Bianca.
To be honest, she is my favorite wrestler working right now.
She's more like The Rock and Austin.
Her character is an enhanced version of her.
That's the wrestling I love growing up.
Agreed.
I would love it. I would love to look more into it.
She's great. Her matches are stellar,
and she's physically just incredibly strong.
Okay.
All right.
See that guy over there?
Hello, S-E-N crew.
My WrestleMania highlights were Bad Bunny's Canadian Destroyer on John Morrison,
Bianca carrying Sasha back into the ring,
Shane getting dropped again and Logan Paul getting stuttered.
Night 1 is better than Night 2.
Yeah, I agree with that.
I also think Night 1 had a better lineup.
Even before the match started, Night 1 seemed to have more of a better lineup.
And they started Night 2 with a couple of, I don't know,
I don't know, kind of confusing creative decisions,
I guess I would say.
And then it kind of took off.
The Owens and Zane match
is what really kind of started night two
and the rest of the night
was actually pretty good for the most part.
So yeah, I'd agree with that.
All right, next one from Alan Smithy.
True story.
Don't ask Bill Murray about Lucy Lou's acting ability.
From the set of Charlie's Angels,
Bill Murray stopped a scene in progress
and pointed at Lucy Lou saying,
You can't act.
Lou blue or lit and attacked Murray
wildly throwing punches.
Is that real?
Yeah.
That's a rumor that that happened, like a pretty strong rumor that happened on set.
And that's why a rumor why, that's why they say Bill didn't come back for the second one.
And they replaced him with Bernie Mac because of that situation.
Good.
Yeah.
I love Homer.
I love him, but don't fucking do that.
And also Bernie Mac is a legend.
And seeing him in Charlie's Angels was such a great thing to happen.
we've talked about this before and Bill Murray would probably ruin my dreams if I met him.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I have a feeling that from what I've heard, it wouldn't be the wonderful experience that I've been wanted for my whole life.
And that, that is, if that happened, I mean, that kind of, like, who does that?
Like, rumor or not, I mean, yeah, I'm sure it's happened in some regard, but that's horrible.
And another thing I want to bring up, Steph, is I need to give.
get that t-shirt for my daughter.
I,
my wife and I apparently do not say
Naruto.
Are we saying it?
Yeah.
No, it's, I'll say, I'll say,
Naruto.
And she's like, no, it's Naruto.
Or vice versa or something like it.
And apparently, no matter how we say it,
we say it wrong.
And I just sent her a text that said,
she goes, I want a Neruto shirt.
So, I'll find her it.
I'll gather it.
It's Nehruito Shepudan.
Nehruito.
Oh, I'm going to tell her.
She's wrong.
Type, type, type.
No, she's the coolest kid ever.
I will get good.
So that's my side track.
I love it.
My 47th one for today.
What's next?
I've totally 800.
Jamie and John says,
Roka rank these De Palma films.
Oh, shit.
Carrie, the untouchables.
Phantom of the Paradise, blowout, and dressed to kill.
Well, Untouchables first.
Dress to kill, carry, blowout, and Phantom of the Paradise.
There you go.
That's the ranking.
That's the ranking.
It's almost like I host a show about ranking movies every week.
Have you done a De Palma episode?
We have not.
I don't think there's 10 De Palmas.
that I would say that I liked.
So I don't know.
I'd have to take a look, though.
We barely got to 10 on Fincher,
and only because Mank came out.
So you're surprised at how many,
how many don't have 10 films yet, you know?
So, but DePaulma certainly does.
All right.
Next one from Morse code Z.
This was to be a schmobot,
but Streamlabs blocked me for some reason.
Came in at 1115 after office meeting.
Alex on screen.
Yay.
Malcolm's still in AI.
Steph is styling.
Roca, way too awake.
Hi, Brett.
Hi, Brett.
Bradd Talks donated $20.
Your WhatsApp.
What did the blanket say when it fell off the bed?
Sheet.
Thank you for all the fun.
I like that.
I like that.
And that was all of our stream labs for now.
So make sure to keep on donating if you have the chance, folks.
Yes.
Maybe.
I can't, I just looked at De Palma, I can't get to 10.
I can't get to 10 films that I liked it is.
I really can't.
That's a shame.
Yeah, all right.
Anyway.
I don't know.
I, point of clarification, or I don't want to get technical here, but I think the blanket would have been upset with the sheet for causing it to fall.
So it would have said like, F this a whole sheet, right?
Because the sheet probably, the sheet would have pushed the blanket or somehow caused the fall.
So I, sorry.
Sorry to, I think the best way of jokes are best to explain.
Yeah, well, you're doing, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Do the music.
Listen, to come in here.
If you're going to do a pun, you've got to get your back straight, okay?
Blankets and sheets are two different nationalities.
All right, your sheet is underneath, and it's a lighter fabric of blankets, it's a bigger fabric.
So if you're thinking and then joking term, the sheet maybe was slippery.
Maybe you have like a microfibre some sort of silk sheet.
Perhaps that caused the blanket to fall off and he would have been,
well, laugh the sheet.
Not like, oh sheet.
O sheet would be like, oh sheet.
Like saying, like, I'm just going to be.
You just get your back straight before you're not going to get.
That was incredible.
That was well done.
Absolutely killed it.
I was worth the 50 or 100, whatever it was.
75, 75.
Speaking of sheets and blaming, do you guys see Bowen Yang's Titanic thing this weekend as the iceberg?
Yes, make him a series regular.
He is not a side character, Bowen Yang and Chris Red in particular have carried the...
seasons like and and chris red is constantly forgotten about in the titling of articles it's such
bullshit i don't know how you miss these two but bowen gang's titanic this is what made me so excited
about it was it was just like something you hadn't seen in a while or like at all on s andl
and he's just creating like his own little sliver of comedy which is what all the s and l greats do
they take something that like people aren't talking about or different type of observation,
a different type of character and make it funny?
Like who the fuck would be arguing for the iceberg in Titanic?
He made it.
I was like,
he's right.
What are we mad at the iceberg first?
He was just chilling there.
I mean,
it was so funny.
You're right.
And because it was the anniversary,
I guess,
of it happening.
And so he played the iceberg.
And it's you're right.
It's simple and brilliant.
You know,
and he's like,
it's so funny.
He's like, I was just sitting here, you know, mind of my own business and all of this.
You hit me.
You hit me.
I don't know why I'm being blamed for this.
And my favorite part of the sketch when he goes, how come no one's talking about the water?
Everyone's blaming the ice.
The water, the water, they drown, bitch.
They drown, bitch.
And I was on the fucking four.
I watched it like three or four times.
It is fucking great.
Great, great, great, great fun.
So great.
Oh, my God.
And then he has an album.
He's promoting an album, which is why he's there.
the icebergs is an album.
Yeah, well, I don't want to give up.
I think the delivery of what the album is called
was hilarious.
Yeah, Chris, Chris Radd, is it a reader?
Yeah, he said that they posted an article
and it was Pete Davidson, Kid Cuddy,
and Timothy Chalameh, and it said,
you know, it didn't mention him at all.
He's like, I would probably get edited out of my own dick pick.
It's so true.
I mean, this man has been on SNL for, I think he's in his fourth year now.
How are you not, if you're a variety or Hollywood reporter, you're not really doing your job if you don't know the cast of SNL and who's involved.
And it just, you don't know how the show works because he obviously played a part in writing that script.
and he does with all the musicals.
If you saw him in Popstar, you knew that's what he was going to bring to S&L
is the musical sketches.
So how do you miss that?
His stuff he did on Weekend Update with, what's his name?
The guy that he did Bruce Springsteen and Chris Red was doing Obama and they were doing their podcast.
Oh, my God.
It was hilarious.
Yeah, the weekend is my favorite part.
Yeah.
Agreed.
Michael Jay and Joe's.
What is it the people?
people had an issue with, because I saw, I saw both, of course, with all these things,
but Bo and Yang, that people were making fun of the sketch or saying that it was dumb, too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I thought it was hilarious.
And, yeah, I mean, like, and then even somebody was like, you know, people died.
Oh, come on.
Jesus Christ, come on.
You know, like, we even had that in the sketch.
Yeah.
Just goes, what would you say to the families?
These were not the questions we agreed to.
Yeah.
You know, sure.
50 people die.
Yeah, it's too soon.
Are you telling
that Lincoln joke? No.
No.
Too soon.
That's ridiculous.
Anyway, let's keep going, Alex.
What do we got?
Those are all our stream labs for now
still, so
hopefully we can get it back working
and people can use
the credit cards and PayPal for that.
But anyways.
All right.
What have we got?
What's next?
I'm talking about the topic?
Yeah, what do you got?
Sure, okay, all right.
So that's just alone.
Stallone recently reconfirmed that he would not be returning to the Creed franchise,
and series star and director of Creed III talked about it,
Michael D. Jordan, saying, I think his essence and his spirit,
there's always going to be a little bit of Rocky within Adonis.
But this is a Creed franchise,
and we really want to build this story and this world around him moving forward.
Roka, what do you think about Stallone not returning?
I think you just saw what I think about
I'm devastated I get it
I understand and I knew this was
coming because the end of Creed 2
when he doesn't get in the ring
and he fist bumps Adidas
and he says this is your time now
that was him essentially saying goodbye to the character
so I'm heartbroken
I'll always be heartbroken
and he's not coming back because I would argue
that Creed resuscitated
Rocky Balbollah
and I know people like the Rocky Balboa
one with Antonio Tarver at the
not get better with age.
There's a couple of really good scenes in that movie,
but it's not really one of the best.
Creed is the thing that brought the franchise back.
Ryan Cougler really resuscitated Rocky again.
And Stephen Cable Jr. did a fantastic job with him in the second film.
And there are some Stallone,
some of the best acting he's done in years has been in both of those Creed films.
And so it's a shame, but at least he says goodbye,
leaving something positive
for the overall fan base
of the Rocky Balboa movies.
And it's right, it's the right move.
It's Michael B. Jordan's thing now.
Let him take the ball and run with it.
What do you guys think?
Are you guys sad about any of this?
Or it was pretty much expected?
I think it was expected.
Yeah, I think it was expected.
I don't, it seems like it was
everyone really loves the property
that they're working with
and what they've made with Creed.
I think that if you're a creator and you truly love it and you don't have any sort of like narcissistic pull to it, then you'll do what's best for the franchise.
So it seems like there's no bad blood between Stallone leaving and Michael B. Jordan.
There's just mutual respect and love.
But if they want to take the story where it needs to be, then I understand the detachment of it.
Brett.
Oh, he's not on screen.
Well, I'll take this one.
Yeah.
I mean, it makes sense.
It's good that NBJ is acknowledging him.
I wonder if he'll even cameo at all, but, you know,
better to just leave all that in the past.
But I know Stallone had that wacky pitch for a
Rocky prequel.
Roker, what do you think of that?
I don't think you're on for that show.
Oh, just like I don't want a John McLean prequel.
I don't want a fucking Rocky Balboa prequel because he's a ham and egg.
So you want me to show me a prequel before he meets Adrian?
A prequel before he meets and fights Apollo?
You got the prequel in the first 10 minutes of the movie.
That is not an enjoyable thing that I want to sit and watch.
It's not that it couldn't be interesting,
but in the end, his life isn't really exciting
until Adrian comes along and until he fights Apollo
and everything that happens after that.
So, I mean, we saw Rocky 5.
That's kind of a pseudo prequel,
because that's what you would see.
Him back in Philadelphia,
ham and egging it to pay his bills.
And he works for a loan shark.
So do you want to see Rocky Balboa
breaking people's legs to get money from them?
It just doesn't make any sense.
Yeah.
I want to see Slice Stallone's dressing room
while filming all the Rocky films
because I've heard there's some crazy shit that went down.
Whoa.
Yeah, in the scenes.
Make sure you cup the bleeps.
Always cup the bleeps.
Yes, I know what you're talking about.
That would be more interesting than a prequel.
That's true.
Give us the BTS.
And you know Stallone, he'd probably deage himself to play it, so we don't want to see.
I've never actually seen any of the Rocky movies.
I've only seen creeds.
Yeah, I know.
Yes.
Hey, Roka.
I want to see Roka, Matt.
I am watching a lot of
old best picture winners.
Like, I'm watching the Last Emperor right now
and I saw Charite's a flyer.
So, like, I'm working my way back.
Okay.
Of course.
I bet you've seen the latest
French black and white film,
but you can't watch it right.
Yeah.
You're American, you son of a bitch.
Have some respect for your country.
Yeah.
I'll probably watch all the international feature
nominees before I get to Rocky.
The disrespect.
Bupon, too.
Wee, we.
Jette, I dem,
a na, na, nah.
I saw the Rockies, but I haven't seen Creed.
Is that?
Oh, come on.
I'm the, I'm the opposite of Alex.
I don't, I, those are ones that I,
it's like, I forget about it.
I don't know. It just, it, I wasn't,
they weren't on my radar when they came out,
or what, it's only one.
No, it's, they're making,
How many are? There's two. Yeah. I don't know why. I just haven't. And I don't know if it's something that, again, I have, I'm in a place where I'm mostly, as in mostly 99.9% of the time, watch something with my wife. And I don't think that's something I'm going to talk her into when there's movies, you know, like Wild Mountain Time that she wanted to watch the other night, which I didn't. Has anybody, could somebody please tell me this is horrible so I can not. Okay. Yeah, she's like, let's watch this. It's a little. Okay. Yeah. She's like, let's watch this.
a rom-com. I'm like, that looks,
there looks like there's some rom, but I don't
see much com, and I don't want to pay for it. There's plenty of
things. No. I just thought it'd be, you know,
oh. It looks more drama.
You know. Yeah, look more drama than
than com. But, and I,
how many of those people are actually Irish,
is the question. That's the,
well, I mean, Emily Blunt can play anything.
Yes, yes, yes. I love,
I love me some Blunt.
And Christopher Walken, you know,
but not a yeah yeah I didn't wait so yeah it's called what is it wild mountain time
wild mountain time with Emma oh gosh it sounds like a ride at six flags it's it's so funny too
when we're coming up with stuff and I'm going through it and she goes I go oh she saw the
Justice League she goes oh that's that's not the original that's the long one the
the new long version, I'm like,
you do know what I do
for a living, right? I'm doing that.
I'm like, are you referring to
Zach Snyder's Justice Lee?
I'm on a show
where we talk about movies all day and not
one person has mentioned wild
mountain time, so I'm sorry, hard pass, honey.
So needless to say,
I slept on the couch that night.
real quick, Brett.
You said Christopher Walken's in this movie?
Yes.
And he's doing an Irish accent.
Brett, if you feel comfortable,
I really want to hear your Christopher Walken doing Irish accent.
That's good.
50 bucks, Alex, pony up, 50 bucks.
You know the deal.
Bucks, little man.
Put that shit in my hand.
We did just get a super chat from Dagan,
S. Broad, saying,
I could see a scene in Creed 3
where Adonis visits Rocky,
is grave and many tears will be shed.
Oh, fuck, no.
No.
Would they kill him off in this?
I don't know.
I would go insane if they killed him.
Don't kill him off. Just he faded off into the sunset.
We don't know what he's doing. We don't know where he's at.
Don't kill him off.
Oh, when they did that to Adrian and Rocky Balbo, I was super fucking pissed.
Tally Shire deserved something better than that.
Yeah.
No offense to it's like, who I love to pieces, but they should have given her some scenes.
and then have her die.
A death scene would have been stellar.
That would have been stellar.
So, oh, well.
No, because if he's done, a cameo is a cop out.
So if they say he's done, he's got to be done, done.
So no shots with him.
And Wild Mountain Time also stars John Hamm, Jamie Dornan, and Emily Blunt.
So this is an interesting combo of people.
I think is Jamie Dornan, is that the 50 Shades, Bella?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's, I think that's.
a selling point. So I just afraid that, you know, what what I think might help me in this film
might ruin it with a bad film. Sometimes just a pretty face, honey, isn't going to make a film
work like Vikings. But no, yeah, she's, she's into him. I don't find, I'm, I'm all about
saying when I think somebody, like a gentleman, but like, he just doesn't do it for me. I mean,
Renee from
Rérege
Rige, yeah, Renee.
Come on, Brett.
That's the 756th thing
you've gotten wrong
this show.
But yeah, that
you.
That is a beautiful man.
Yeah, what a man, what a...
Yeah, I agree completely.
But I can see where people like
Jamie Dornham, but he just doesn't do it for me.
Sorry.
Sorry.
I love him in my fucking.
I'm in Sargo to Vista Del Mar.
Oh, yeah, I got to see that.
We were going to rent that.
Brett, you and your wife, I have to rent it.
Just like have, yeah, you got it.
Okay.
But that was on the, that was, we ended up going with, yes, King of Stanton Island,
which I, you know, was free naturally, so we will.
But that gives you that feeling of, like, the S&L sketch, like, movie off.
You know, like, when they, like, that's the feeling of it, which I miss.
Yeah, I'm down for that.
Yeah, that one.
that's definitely on the list.
But it's, again, it feels dumb to rent stuff
when there's so many things we haven't seen.
You know, it's just to me, it's like, yeah,
