As ever, you've got myself, Ben Hocking, Harry Yead and Samuel Sage, both joining me. Guys, are you excited for this step into the unknown? What is a Formula One hybrid giraffe? Is that got another animal on the bottom? Draft.

Oh, oh, like a draft, cold. Yeah, super excited, super excited. As excited when it added the tea on the end, or? Not as excited. I prefer the giraffe combo, but we'll make it work. Well, as exciting as a draft might be, we've actually got some very special guest joining us tonight. First of all, we have Dan from F1E reviews.

Dan, thank you so much for joining us. How does it feel to be on such an esteem show as ours? I've been looking forward to it all week, but just like Sam, I did think it was a giraffe. so I'm a little disappointed, but I'm sure we'll make it work. Thanks for having me, boys. Next video, guys. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I've been looking forward to it for about a good few weeks now, so nice to be here. Thanks for having us on.

Obviously, the worst part of Jordan being here is that Everton have just scored. Yes. And Newcastle now 1-0 down. Yes, I've just seen that. As soon as we started recording, I've seen it, I wanted to cry. but I had to haul back the tears. Don't cry.

Don't cry. Well, you've done a very good job of masking those tears, Jordan. And you can probably expect regular football updates as the event goes on. But we will try to stick as a primary focus on this hybrid era F1 draft. But you are probably all wondering what earth does that mean. Essentially, the six of us will be picking our own teams. We'll be selecting three drivers, a chassis, a power unit and a team owner. We'll be going in order.

and then at the end of the draft, we'll be putting it out as a public vote. We'll be letting you decide who has accumulated the best team. I've got no idea what to expect. I think chaos, you probably coined it correctly, Mike. No idea what to expect here. But we will get going. The only thing I should mention is that everything can be selected once and then it's off the board. Only exception is power units.

Any power unit can be selected twice and then that's gone. But apart from that, I think we should get into it. I've heard enough of my voice, at least, for the time being. Dan, thanks to the randomizer, you have the first pick. Very nice. Absolutely anything. The board is yours. Okay.

Big shock, who's coming in number one. Oh, it's not. It can't be. It comes Harry Anto. It's Lewis Hamilton, boys. I'm sorry. You all saw it coming, so I'm hoping I'm not stealing anyone else's pick. I'm a, let's be honest.

he has been the best driver since the beginning of the hybrid era lost out on one championship. I don't really need to say a fat lot. And the only driver to actually start every single race in the hybrid era. I really don't need to say anymore. I thought you were going to say there that he was the best driver since time began. And they are having very impressed. Yeah, I'm not quite. Classic first pick.

I think all of us probably had him on at least the peripherals to be chosen. So yeah, great first pick. Yeah, I think it would have been a massive surprise not seeing Hamilton picked in, at least in the first round, but as the first pick, not a huge surprise at all. So Dan gets us away with Lewis Hamilton. Harry, you have the second pick. You have the entire board apart from him. Okay, then.

So my first pick is a driver as well, and is Esther Banking. It's not. It is Fernando Alonzo, because if you watched that video last week, I said he was the best. driver of the 2010s and everyone said I was a madman so I'm going to go with Fernando Alonzo embarrassing what embarrassing you're embarrassing anyway Fernando Alonso is my first pick wow so two drivers off the board in the first two picks at least you are consistent with your with your views Harry picking Alonzo there to follow up the first pick of Lewis Hamilton I've got the third pick and I'm going to go for something a little bit different I'm

I am going to go for a chassis rather than a driver. My theory is that Hamilton in a bad chassis, Alonzo in a bad chassis is never going to win. But a terrible driver in a good chassis just might get the job done. So I'm actually going to go for the Mercedes chassis. I mean, they win every year. So it's probably a good choice. Again, it's like the Hamilton thing. The success kind of speaks for itself.

It's very hard to go against Mercedes. I am going with the Mercedes chassis here. It's a solid choice really, isn't it? That's another one that probably would have gone in the first round. How can you not snatch it for yourself, Benjamin? Yeah, quite possibly. So that was the first non-driver pick. We now go to Jordan for the fourth pick.

Who are you going to go for? Or what are you going to go for? Well, I'm going to go for a driver. Now, of course, Hamilton was always going to be on the agenda, but I knew someone would take them. so I'm going to go for Max for Stappen as one of my drivers now I am a fan of Max I wouldn't say I'm a fan boy of Max before anyone starts you know that that kind of band there but I think Max is really Max is really quick he's got a big future ahead of him

and I just like him as all he can't improve in some areas but yeah I think definitely max stephen first choice for me it's a very solid choice I think you're going to win yourself a lot of subscribers with that choice there yeah hopefully for your sake there are a lot of dutch people who are going to vote on this because you might have already won with just the solo pick oh i mean another driver off the board sam are you going to keep that trend going you've got the fifth pick or are you going to go for something else gentlemen a short look into the history of man now for my pick as we uh have a musical interlude of course I'm going to fast forward it because it's the full version

If you haven't got it folks Toto Wolf is my first pick we will be having a team principle We're going to be hit for copyright strikes for that Please don't no don't do it YouTube I need add revenue Obviously yeah Toto Wolf he has been the best in principle By far in the hybrid era He is taking absolute glory throughout these years

So the wolf man himself, and with that comes many tables, of course, and I have the facility to store those. So Toto Wolf is my first pick. Great choice. Car crash way of getting there. So the way that the draft works, it does snake around, which means that might you get the next two picks? You get the sixth and the seventh pick. Fire away. Well, this is exciting. Unfortunately, unlike Sam, I do not have a nice musical winter lead to announce my pick.

but I'm going to keep a constant theme that's been going through this draft so far, and that is Mercedes, and I'm going to pick my power unit, because, yeah, going last first off here, I think it is by far the best power unit of the hybrid era, because it's won every single championship in that era. So, yeah, I'm going to power my car with the Mercedes power unit. Safe back, safe back, and you get the next pick as well. So what are you going to accompany that with?

Or I feel like I should go for a chassis. I'm building my car first. Then I'm going to recruit first. So I'm going to go for the Red Bull chassis. That's a fairly, yeah. It's a great shout. It's one of the top three teams, and Ferrari, a hit and miss. Red Bull are a little bit more consistent.

so that's why they get it. No, that's fair enough, but a slight risk. You've got to wait until the 18th pick now. So you might be left with a few marginal drivers, maybe? I can make anyone work in my car, Ben. That's the spirit. It ensues Rocky Balboa montage of Mike training Maldonardo and Haryanto into this perfect car.

I love it. I love the thoughts. No, but that, I mean, that's a mega car you've already got, behind you there. Sam, Toto Wolf is going to manage your team, but what is he going to manage? He'll be managing the Ferrari, ladies and gentlemen. Can anyone make it work? Toto definitely can. I mean, we're going top down here, folks. The drivers, I agree with Mike. Anyone can win a world title. They can't, folks. You have to be a good driver. But yeah, Ferrari. I mean, they are probably in line with Red Bull across the few years that we've hanged in this hybrid era. They toss and turn a little bit.

We won't have the strategist, Toto is also our strategist. So hopefully, race victory willing sue. And if you're a Ferrari fan, please vote for me. Thank you. That's my pick. So you're covering both the Mercedes and the Ferrari fan base now. Yes. Clear tactics starting to emerge. And just to clarify that that was the chassis of the Ferrari wasn't.

Yes, it was the chassis of the Ferrari. Good stuff. Jordan, Justin, Vastappen, who are you going to put alongside Vestappen, or what are you going to make him drive? Right. to go for a power unit because we need we need an engine of course to power this car i've got one driver in so i'm going to go for the ferrari power unit now obviously for our obviously the mercedes is clearly the best but i think the ferrari is the fastest now i like i like speed i mean reliability well we can work on

it but we won't speed in the early stages so i'm i'm definitely going with a ferrari on that one I think that's a fair choice. So, I mean, just to clarify that the video is now going to be called Vestappen to Ferrari confirmed question. Oh, no. I'm going to have a lot of enemies after this one. Yeah, so, yep, Ferrari power unit, alongside Jordan, so that means the Ferrari power unit and the Mercedes power unit have had one selection each.

Now, I need to put someone in my Mercedes chassis. And what better way than to pick someone who knows exactly what the Mercedes chassis is all about? No, I have a day off. Nico Rosberg is a great driver and I'm going to pick Nico Rosberg with the 10th pick. I mean, if people want to make the case that Hamilton is the greatest of all time or one of the greatest of all time, which I agree with, you have to confess that Rosberg beating him puts him somewhere up there, maybe not on Hamilton Alonzo tier, but Nico Rosberg, he's one of only two world champions in this hybrid era. He ran Lewis Hamilton fairly close in the two years prior to that as well.

And yeah, I think he's a fairly underrated driver. So Mercedes chassis, Nico Rosberg, no, I'm not a Mercedes fanboy. Can't be. I've got Toto. So, Harry, Fernando Alonzo, what are you going with around him? Oh, Ben's just confirmed that Nico Rosberg is the second greatest driver of all time. That's just, well, hang on, no. Okay, because Fernando Alonzo loves his power, as we all know,

I'm going to give him, and his reliable power at that, so I'm going to give him a Mercedes engine to go behind him in his empty car at the moment because I don't want any backlash from the Fonz. so yeah he's going to have a nice reliable speedy engine that's the Mercedes off the board isn't it it's the Mercedes off the board but I mean that takes away all GP2 engine memes I'm just killing it now I'm just nipping it in the bud we don't need the memes

disappointing disappointing and then finally we snake all the way around back to Dan who had the first pick and picked Lewis Hamilton what are you going to go for now Dan I can already see I'm going to go for a completely different strategy to the rest of you boys. So this is a bit out there. So get ready. My first pick, well, my second pick, but my first of these two, I'm going to go for another driver. I would like Charle LeClair in my team. Oh, it's spicy. Very spicy indeed. That's what

I'm here to do. I mean, he's a special kid. This is a star in the making. Alongside Lewis Hamilton, and that's the best. None of you can get a driver pair in that good. And for my next pick, I'm going to pick my third driver, just because I don't want you lot to have another good driver. So I'm going to go with Daniel Ricardo as my third driver. Another race winner from this decade. Smash it. It's this hybrid era.

There's no way any of you are going to get anywhere near this level of drivers. Go on. Now try. I mean, you're going to be driving the manor, so it's fine. We'll all be all right then. Yeah, very true. Yeah. So, I mean, of the six picks, three need to be drivers, and all three you've taken now.

Hamilton-Laclaccaro is an exciting combination. I'll give you that. So moving back around to Harry with the 14th pick. So Alonzo, Mercedes Power Unit, and... It doesn't know. Ladham, I'm meeting my microphone. Oh, come on. I think there's only one and two people who could keep Alonzo on a leash,

and one of them is Christian Horner, and he's going to be my team boss for this Mercedes-powered Alonzo Fest. Isn't it your actual boss? No. Not my actual boss, no. Yeah, so it's Horner in charge of a Mercedes engine and Fernando Alonzo so far. Going very across the board. Are you confident that Christian Horner and Alon's are going to get along okay?

Yeah, they're going to love each other. Bold. I'm not sure I agree, but bold. So, I mean, it's come back around to me, and I've kind of torn about this one. I had something in mind, but there's someone who's still there that I didn't think would be. So I don't think I can turn him down. Sebastian Vettel's still there. So I don't think I can say no to him.

I was going to try and be more strategic about this and sort of leave the drivers until the last couple of picks. I think Sebastian Vettel, even though his best time did come just before the hybrid era, he's still world class. He's a four-time world champion. And many would argue he's a top 10 talent of all time. So Sebastian Vettel, he's going to partner Nico Rosberg. I'm going full German on this. So whereas Jordan might be relying on the Dutch fans, I am fully reliant on the German fans today. Yeah.

Sebastian Vest to partner, Nico Rosberg. Yeah. You're right with that, Sam? you seem I just can't wait for Vessel to destroy Rosberg it's fine you can't destroy

the second greatest driver of all time for Christ sake Sam back to you then Jordan Vostappan Ferrari power unit and with the 16th pick

what are you going to do for? Oh I was going to go for Charles but Dan took them away so I'm going to go for again youth for my next

driver. This is my second driver. A driver who is yet to prove himself because of his car. But I think he's going to be a really good driver in the future. Well, I hope so anyway, for my team's sake anyway. And it's George Russell. Ooh. You know, George, one season in that Williams, all right, the Williams car wasn't great. And I doubt it'll be any better in 2020.

But given what he's did in the lower categories, I'm really, really, really, I'm impressed. And he did all right in Formula One at first season, beating Cubita 21-0 in qualifying, so that's not too bad. So, yeah, I think Russell will do it well alongside Bostapen. I can't say any of them having any fights or anything. So, yeah, I've got them under control. Yeah, that seems fairly harmonious, but I think there's a bold pick.

I'm not saying it's a bad pick, but that's a bold pick. I didn't expect Russell to go that early. I don't pick someone because I want a Charles. So who, who? Exactly. So Sam, you haven't got any drivers yet. Who needs them? Who needs them?

Honestly, I'm still going to get up for a driver. I'll be taking the final Ferrari power unit to pair with my Ferrari chassis chassis, along with Toto Wolf to manage. Reliability, folks, is not going to be an issue for this prancing pony. We will be galloping off into the sunset, and it's going to be Ferrari Red. Drivers can come out a later date. Anyone can win when you've got the absolute best car. and I've just put that together.

Proven it's not the best car at all because it didn't win a single championship for the entire hybrid era. But I got the most legitimate combination. So fans, remember that. Yeah, remember that when Will Stevenson matched children are driving for you. I'm stealing my picks.

Yeah, sorry, my man. And we go back round to Mike now. So again, Mike, you don't have any drivers yet. You've got two picks now. You're going to use either of them up to to pick a driver. Well, I'm going to have to use one of them, but yeah. So double driver is coming in here.

It depends which one. I'm going to go for King of the Midfield. And that is Sergio Perez. It is his era in terms of tire management with the Pirelli tires. There's been a massive kind of issue. Could you say in the hybrid era? But yes, he is certainly one of those drivers who manages it well, a solid point scorer within a top team he will be a solid number two and as there is kind

of in my books probably only one number one left my second pick is going to be kimmy reikinen and uh well we dedicate a whole moment to him on the f1 fantasy weekly kimmy moment a week so if i didn't pick kimmy rikinen uh whether he was still available I don't know if I would have let myself live it down. So, Kimmy Rikin and Sergio Perez from me. Bois. I love that. I love that commitment.

Yeah, so filling out two of the driver spots there. Sam, you've got three picks left. They're all going to be drivers. We know that. Oh, is that a shock? Mike, you're a fool for thinking there's no number one's left because there is a number one left. It's a big J.B.

Get in the team, J. Driving for Ferrari. Jigs and bust of my lads. I've got the bronze champ. Come on. I'm well happy. I'm well happy that's worked out. Up your bums with J.B.'s lovely face. Wow. So to clarify, you're fairly happy about that selection, Sam. I was not expected there to be a world champion left on that board. Come round to that pick. So I am currently pretty pleased. Well, fair enough. So Button will be racing in a Ferrari with Toto Wolf as the team boss. Imagine the combination. I just love one of these sort of combinations

to actually be in real life. I mean, some of these dream scenarios are creating quite incredible. So, Jordan, Vestappen, Russell, Ferrari Power Unit. What would you like to go for with your fourth pick? Oh, I was going to pick Jensen Button. Oh, why are you still doing with drivers? I'm going to go with

I need to think about my driver so I'm going to go with team principal and I'm going to say Gunter Steiner just because I like him and I think he's I think you'll keep everyone in check and I think you'll take my team forward I mean and we'll get some really good

good air publicity and memes from F1 Drive 2 survive so thinking of it in that direction so Gunter Steiner for me all the way Yeah, means is a massive category in this. And I would pay to see Gunterstein a tell off Maxvastappen. That would be incredible to see. That would.

So it comes back around to me. I've got Rosberg and Vettel with the Mercedes Chassis. I think at this point I probably need to think about what power unit. Of course, Mercedes and Ferrari are off the board, which leaves me with, do I want a Renault power unit? I want a Honda power unit. And I'm going to take the Honda Power Unit, even though it was terrible at the start of the era, I'm not going to pretend it wasn't. In 2019, the differences between the power units, I think, were quite reduced compared

to previous years. The early part of the hybrid era seemed to be very dominated. If you had a Mercedes power unit, you were fairly sorted. Now in 2018 and 2019, apart from that very, sort of the few months where Ferrari were very good with their power unit, it's been very very. even. So I don't think having a Honda power unit is too much of a deficit really. So

I'm going to go with that to partner my team. Just to clarify, when I chose my Ferrari power unit, it was from those three races this season where Ferrari were unreal. I don't want any other power unit, please. I will sue late breaking. You can sue for us.

So you're finding a lawsuit against yourself. Yes, I am. Correct. Okay. I'm going for another driver because I'm slightly worried about the driver situation in my team. Alonso is obviously a god, but I don't want him to be partnered with Madanado. So I'm going to pick...

Great winner. True. I'm going to pick Lando Norris to park. Oh, wow. Up your bum. No. Yeah, Lando Norris and Alonzo get on pretty well. We've seen that already. They race together at Daytona. They get on. don't think they'll fall out.

I honestly hope you get lactose intolerance from all the milk that you drink. Thank you, Sam. Wow. So kind. So that means we spiral around to Dan, who has picked all of his drivers. So we're now just looking for a chassis team manager. And you get the next two picks, Dan. Yeah, really picking from the scraps here, I think.

I'm going to pick a chassis. I think that's probably the right thing to do. Actually get a car to put these drivers in. I'm going to go with the McLaren. I was going to say a bit of a risky one, but I mean, I can't really go with Williams, considering how they've been the last couple of years. So yeah, I'm happy with McLaren.

And I'm also going to go with a team principal. And this one's a little bit left to field. But I'm going to go with Ron Dennis, United back with Lewis Hamilton, with the McLaren chassis. I think that could be quite good. That's not too bad as I was imagining it when you guys were picking some of your picks. I mean, I'm baffled that Ron Dennis' skill on that list.

I forgot that he was there. Yeah, sort of that. Same. So I thought, you know what, I'll quickly put that one in before anyone steals it. Yeah. No, I think that's a bit of a steal this late in the draft that you've got. And that Ron Dennis, McLaren, Hamilton combination, that's like, yeah, I think it's iconic points. exactly exactly that should be a win come on guys you should be voting for that one

i'm not for that one yeah it's quite good um harry it comes back around to you you have one driver still to select but you also need a chassis so which one are you going to prioritize yes i think i need to get a car now because otherwise alonzo and nor also are going to be piggybacking horner and a mercedes power unit around the track. It's getting a bit slim in that selection, so I'm going to go for the Force India chassis.

And to clarify, it's not the Racing Point chassis, which is an option. This is the Force India chassis. Because they've always been pretty good at making the most of their small budget. And generally, they've had good chassis. They managed to develop them. So, yeah, Force India Shassee.

Not the best, but it'll do. will do. Yeah. Just to clarify that one, yeah, you can have the racing point chassis as well. Technically two different teams, even though we all know they were kind of still one. But you can have the racing point chassis for anyone who still needs one. I'm going to go slightly left the field here, actually. I'm going to go for a team principal. I'm going to go for the man that Sam loves to call French toast. I'm going to go for France toast. I actually think he's a really good team boss. He's been in that role for a long time and he's seen a lot of drivers come through. He's very good with driver development, obviously with the role that he needs to play.

And if you think, the amount of drivers that come through, Toro or also both being promoted up, demoted down, kicked out of the system entirely, he's able to cope with a lot of different situations. And I have confidence in good old French toast that he can he can overcome. If we're in a midfield scrap, I know that France Tostas, he's got my back. and he's not going to put up with any rubbish from drivers. If they're having a disagreement, he's just going to walk over, do his classic frown, and

they're just going to forget what they were arguing about. So, yeah, I'm going to go with Mr. Franz Dost as my team principal. I taste great with butter. I was wondering what the joke was going to be. It was surprisingly worse than what I thought was going to be, which is almost

impressive. So, Jordan, we go back to Hugh. You can pick another driver, or you can pick your chassis. I'm going to go for my final driver for this one. Now, we haven't chose, no, we

haven't. I'm just double-checking to make sure that no one's picked them. I need, well, I've got two young, quick drivers who, if they're both going for the title, you know, it might cause problems within the team. I need a number two, not literally, by the way.

I'm going to go with Valtry Botas. I think Bottas is like the perfect number two, well, in the Monday area, the perfect number two driver, if asked him to move out the way, Valtre gets James, then he will move out,

move out the way, or Valtre gets Jordan, move out the way. I think he'll do just that. So if Vestappan and Russell's ever in a title fight and even Botas is in there at some point, I think BOTS will just, or even if it's like,

Bottas or Vestappan or Bottis and Russell, I think Bottis will just be that perfect number two driver who will listen to team orders. So yeah, bonus. Yeah, I think a bit of experience, Pears Vastappen and Russell, quite well.

Looking forward to Gunterstainer saying, Valtrey, it's Guptan. I mean, that's going to be... I think I might just vote for your, Sean, because you've got Gunter Steiner. No other than it. Sam, we come back to you. We know it's going to be a driver.

You've already got a world champion in Jensen Button, but who's going to go alongside him? I mean, I've already got the best team. Most people picking shats is this late. You're fools. You are fools. but we do need a number two driver alongside Jinks and the champ button. And it can only be one person and it can only be the smooth opereda.

Sound exactly like him, by the way. Carlos Sikes is the obviously best. I want 2019, Carlos Sikes, by the way. Incredible performance this season. One of the best drivers of the year, if not up there for being the best driver of 2019. Button Sikes, Ferrari Power Unit, Ferrari and chassis, Toto Wolf managing that man. Oh, we're flying high.

We're living the dream. We're on the beach, folks. We're on a great time. So science in the bag. Nice. So science will be partnering Jensen Button to McLaren drivers there. Mike, the way that the draft works, you get your last two picks now. So we know one of them will be a driver and you also need a team boss.

So I think I'm going to go for the team boss first. and it was down to two for me in terms of experience. That was Andreas Seidel and Cyril. Cyril, how it's gone with Renault over the past few years. It's a bit of a mixed bag. It's not too sure. But Andre's, he has the experience. Obviously, he was being W. Salber back in the day, wasn't he?

And then obviously, the job he is done with McLaren this season in 2019 and how he's organized everything behind the scenes, getting everything going. I think he is a very sneaky pick and a very good team manager to get my obviously a Red Bull chassis with Mercedes power unit with obviously the Iceman,

Kimmy Reichen and Perez, getting me all the points I need. But if I am struggling, I'm going to go for P2 in Brazil, Mr Pierre Garzley. Yes, he did not do well in the Red Bull chassis. It could be controversial, But he doesn't have Max Rastappen there.

I feel like Max Rastacken intimidated him, daunted him at the task of joining a team of Red Bull. I'm going to give him a second chance. And I feel he was going to take that chance. And I also think Perez and Gaze is a future racing point partnership might actually be quite good in actual real life Formula one. So I'm going to test it out in my draft. So there that completes my draft picks.

Mike predicts the future is a new thing. feature. Yeah. I like it. Yes, that does complete your section. We'll run through everyone's complete teams once the draft is complete. We've only got five more picks to go now.

So, Chesa button, Carlos signs, and your third driver. Well, I need a man that knows Ferrari thick and thing. I think a man that understands Ferrari like he was born into the team. I think a man that's gone a lot of friends in Formula One.

and a man that we actually all have a big soft spot for. So my final driver, who will be my third driver and development driver, whatnot, it's going to be Jules Bianchi. The Bianchi himself, that man had endless, endless talent. He did so well, even in such a poor car, he's so much potential. He's doing your career as fantastic, slightly unproven, obviously, due to incredibly unfortunate circumstances. But what a driver, Joel Bianchi is, and I think busting science of Bianchi,

could you get a friendly team? what a delightful bunch of people to be around so i'm i'm happy with that that's my team i'm very happy yeah in fantasy you've got three drivers that would theoretically get along and i mean yeah i don't think george bianke is going to go down as a as an unpopular selection by anyone's standards um so a few more picks to go jordan you've left your chassis until that yes right um i'm going to go with the has chassis. Now, I want to clarify

which one I want. The 2018 chassis. Not the 2019 chassis. That has in 2018 was pretty, was really, really good. You know,

same chassis as the Ferrari. Ferrari had a really good chassis. So for me, yeah, for a Ferrari power unit, hash chassis,

couldn't assign it as the boss. I think that could work well. Before Sam makes the joke, it is a Shahasi. Almost certainly going to make it,

so I'll just sort of nip in the mud. Well done, Benjamin. I'm so proud. Thank you. Yeah, I really don't deserve any credit for that. So it comes back around to me and I need a final driver to complete my team. I'm actually going to go for someone who I wasn't sure if it'd be here because I thought he might be slightly forgotten, but this guy has got serious talent. I'm going to go for Jean-Erick Verne.

John Erick Verne, I still feel today was hard done by in terms of being kicked out of where he was over Danny Kaviat. He was always a solid driver. He matched Ricardo pretty much in their time together. I think there was maybe one point between the two of them. And of course, whereas Ricardo went on to beat Sebastian Vettel in 2014, John Eric Verne eventually had to leave the sport. And I think he was always very unfairly done.

So Jean-Révert, Vern, he's also got the experience with Franz Toss as well. So, yeah, Jev is going to finish out my draft, which just leaves two more picks. Harry, I think you need, yes, you need one more driver to partner Alonzo and Norris. Can't wait for Andre Lottor to be there. I would like, I seriously consider putting Brendan Hartley in there, just my love for him. But no, I want to try and win this. So my third driver, and one at, like Benzad, one that's been, I feel maybe slightly overlooked, is Nicky Holkenberg.

he uh look he's not the best driver in the world but he's he's a decent talent and maybe made some wrong career choices along the way was unlucky made mistakes but he's a decent driver and for a third driver in a team i think he'd be he's going to be a solid pick so yeah nico you can come back to f1 with me he's backing his force india yeah see with the mercedes power unit and Fernando Alonzo's his teammate. It's beautiful. Right. So that just leaves it. So after having the first pick, Dan, you also got the last pick of the draft. Essentially, it's a 50-50 choice.

Do you want the Honda Power Unit alongside me, or do you want to go with the Renault power unit? I think it would be borderline illegal if I picked a Honda Power Unit with McLaren. That is not going to work whatsoever. I'm not about that. It's going to have to be the Renault, which is fine, I guess. I mean, Ricardo's got experience winning with a Renault power unit, McLaren and Renault, they're doing much better these days. So it's all right.

And for a last pick, I'll take that. I'm happy with my team. It's pretty much what I'm trying to say. Yeah, that's fair enough. It's very interesting to see the difference in strategy. Of course, then you pick the first three, you pick drivers in the first three selections, and then they're worried about the chassis and power unit later, a slight opposite of maybe some others.

So it was very interesting to see the different tactics. Just run through every single person and what we've managed to come up with. Dan, you've got Hamilton, LeClair and Ricardo, which is about as tasty as it can get. You've got Ron Dennis managing them, the McLaren chassis, and then the Renault power unit. Harry, you've got Alonzo, Norris and Holcombberg,

a fairly good mixture of experience and youth there. Mercedes power unit, Christian Horner with Force India chassis. I have got the Mercedes chassis powered by Honda with Franz Tost as the manager. My driver's are Rosberg, Vettel and Vern. Jordan, you've got Max Vastappen with the first bit. You've also got Russell and Bottas as drivers. Gunter Steiner as the team manager, the hash chassis to complete that little combo. And the Ferrari power unit.

You've kind of gone all three down the house line there. Yeah. Yeah, nice. Sam, you have got button signs of Bianchi as your drivers, which you dealt with last after getting both the Ferrari power unit and chassis and Toto Wolf managing your team. And then Mike, you have got Gansley Perez Reikinen, Andreas Seidel as the team manager, Red Bull chassis,

and then the Mercedes power unit. Who won? I've got no idea. No idea to win that. that. I do. I'm going to put in a claim I won. What I am going to say is I'm actually a little bit shocked looking at the list. No one went for Felipe Massa. It's the most overrated driver going. Oh, God. Oh, my comment section. The comments are really important. Yeah, I was, I was thinking through some

that didn't get picked. That was probably the biggest name that didn't. Estabana Ockon, he didn't get picked. Pascal Verlain might have thought maybe he'd get picked. I can't believe Romand Grosjean didn't go unselected, Dan. I know. I was going to pick him. I went into this thinking I've got to, but when an opportunity comes up to steal drivers from you boys, I can't turn that down. I thought that was going to be your first pick down when you said, it's got to be this mark. And I went, oh, no, they went Hamilton. I was like, oh, wow, I'm actually quite surprised. I was trying to be serious today. I know that's quite rare.

I guess because he's gone undrafted, you can pick him up as some sort of a simulator driver or making the tease or just some sort of use. Yeah, crash test dummy, I think. There's one driver that it came into my head when Ben said Byrne. And in a way, I was like, I wish I picked him out to replace Russell.

Stoff of Van Dorn. Yeah, Van Dorn. You could argue. didn't get his proper chance in F1. Yeah. Brilliant junior career. Didn't work out in F1 because of McLaren and Honda and that kind of thing. But yeah, but hey, what's done?

I've got Russell there. Yeah, absolutely. And of those 2019 rookies as well, Albin didn't get a selection, but Norris and Russell did. So Albin voted as rookie of the year by the FIA. So interesting to see he wasn't selected, whereas the other two were. But yeah, it would be very interesting to see what the people come back with. We are going to put this out as a vote. Yeah, let us know who you think came away with the best team.

And like we said earlier, the winner will get the square root of nothing, which is still nothing. Just to put that out of that. So I think we're all done. Plug time, I guess. You may plug away. Mike, let us know about your channel. Yeah, so, got to.
