Starting point is 00:01:18 First, realize that your only priority right now is aggressive prospecting. Too many beginners hide behind administrative tasks because they are terrified of rejection. You have to stop planning and start hunting. If you are not spending 80% of your day in the direct messages, making cold calls, or attending local networking events, you will starve. Whether you are selling B2B consulting or a creative service, nobody knows you exist yet. If you do not make the noise, you kill the launch.

People do not get their first client by charging premium rates with zero case studies. They get their first client by offering a totally undeniable risk-free proposition. So instead of arguing over a high ticket fee, offer to work for a massive discount or on a pure performance basis, just to get your foot in the door. Make acquiring the first testimonial your absolute primary target.

Relentless outbound activity, extreme resilience in the face of objections and a refusal to quit, create a forged founder. When you secure the first dollar, the next million becomes possible. Bottom line, stop preparing to do business and actually do the business. Pick up the phone, make the pitch, and close the client.
