Ferrari in the back, but let's talk about how I was able to buy this Ferrari with these books. There's no more of that, guys. That's back 2015 to 2017, back when I was a cop, you know, chasing homicide suspects in Oakland, okay? So I'm going to keep it real honest with you. In the past three years, I have leveraged social media and digital marketing to expand my brand. The reason why people buy from me, okay? And it's no secret. I'm telling you everything if you're listening to this podcast. That's why it's called The Level Up Podcast because I'm trying to help you. It's because I'm comfortable in my own skin.

Maybe it's because I got in my 30s and I just don't give a fuck no more. But I know in my 18 to like my 20s, my mid-20s, guys, I used to give a shit what people used to think about me. And for many of you, hey, guys, you might be 40 listening to this. You might still think that way. And there's nothing wrong with that. We're all human. Okay. I'm not here to bash nobody. I'm here to empower you. My saying is that, look, if you care what people think about you, it's going to stop your growth. You're actually doing yourself a disservice. You have to shut off that piece of your brain that says, well, what will people think about me if I do A, Y, or Z, right? Guys, because this is what gets you overthinking. This is what gets 99% of entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs to not pull the trigger.

The first trigger in entrepreneurship is actually going ahead and making the jump, actually executing on your idea, no matter what your idea is. Okay. Back when I started with credit card terminals at the end of 2022, guys, OK, I was talking to one of my CEOs, chief operating officers from one of my major companies, ATM together. At that time, we had crossed over 20 million dollars in revenue. OK, and I remember he was telling me, he's like, you sure this is a good idea, bro? You know, we're already like, you know, busy enough. We already got a lot of employees. What makes you think this is a good idea, bro. You know, we're already like, you know, busy enough. We already got a lot of employees. What makes you think this is a good idea? And I'm like, brother,

we are able to expand on a different market because we've already learned marketing, sales, client acquisition. We know the formula. We know how to win. So we need to leverage it now. And it's something like my mother will always tell me, cuando el dinero viene, you have to grab it. You have to grab it. When the money comes, you have to grab it. And that's the thing. Urgency, guys. Urgency. But the only way I was able to do that is because I had to be comfortable in my own skin. I had to have the self-confidence in order to go ahead and separate myself from my first company and go for three months and do a complete startup again. And back in February of 2023, which is what I did.

And guess what happened? Within five weeks, guys, I collected a million dollars cash collected from clients who were like, Paul, this is a genius idea. Well, credit card terminals, man, this is going to change the dynamic of everything. You're going to help so many business owners. You're going to you're going to allow a regular person like me, like you make residual income from these credit card terminals. And it's a lot safer than ATMs. And I was like, dude, ATMs are safe.

You just got to have a strategy. And they're like, yeah, but you know how people feel about that. They don't want to carry guns. And you know, they weren't, they don't have the law enforcement experience like you did. And I was like, yeah, you're right. You're right. But see, guys, you won't know if your idea is good or not, unless you put it out there. Unless you get comfortable in your own skin, you tell your story to the world and you share your vision. That is the very first step. And that's the biggest step that stops 99% of entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs. And guess what? Later on in life, because life is short, when you're sitting there and you're like, damn, I should have listened to that crazy guy, Paul,
