Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the Level Up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up, everybody, and welcome back to the Level Up podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:24 I'm Paul Alex. And today we're going to be talking about a skill that separates amateurs from top sales pro. How to create urgency without being pushy. Because let's be real. No one likes sleazy, high-pressure sales tactics in 2025. But if you don't create urgency, people will sit on the fence forever. So let's go ahead and break down how to get them to take action right away. First, urgency comes from value, not pressure.
Starting point is 00:00:50 If people see the real value in what you're offering, they don't need to be forced. They'll naturally want to move fast. When I sell anything, I don't beg. I educate. I show them exactly how this opportunity will solve their problem. So if you're leading with value, urgency happens naturally. Second, use deadlines and scarcity the right way. People move when there's a reason to move. If spots are truly limited or a price is going up, tell them, but don't lie. Nothing kills trust faster than fake urgency. When I say something is limited, it's because it is. Be real and people will respect the urgency you create.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Lastly, help them see the cost of waiting. Most people stay stuck because they think they have time. But in reality, waiting costs everybody money, guys, and opportunities. When I talk to potential clients, I don't have to be pushy. I simply ask, hey, what happens if you wait another six months? That question alone makes them realize that the risk of inaction is actually bigger than the risk of taking a shot. Guys, what's the bottom line here? Urgency isn't about pressuring people.
Starting point is 00:02:01 It's actually about helping them make a decision that benefits them. Leadwood Valley. Be honest about scarcity and help them understand why waiting is the real risk. Guys, thanks for tuning to a level of podcast. I'm Paul Alex. Reminding you that great salespeople don't chase. They actually educate. Create urgency the right way.
Starting point is 00:02:19 And as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the level of a podcast.
