Back at the end of 2022, I got approached by two entrepreneurs, nine-figure entrepreneurs out of Los Angeles, California. And they were massive, massive, massive experts in the merchant services industry,

which is the credit card terminal industry. That's one of my companies now. And when they approached me, they were just like, you built a phenomenal online program called ATM Together for the ATM industry. We love what you did, but we want to take you under our wing and we actually want you to build something similar, but in the merchant services, credit card terminal industry. And I was just like, dude, I don't know. I don't know if I could do it, but tell me how it works. So they started talking about this system that actually is supposed to help like millions of small business owners

throughout the United States and now in Canada coming up. But they were talking about this program called the cash discount program. And the way it works essentially is that for merchants, for small business owners, let's say they had a liquor store and they were paying anywhere between $500 to $1,000 in credit card processing fees. Basically, the fees just get completely wiped out, right? And then you give an option to their clients where they can pay with cash and they don't have to pay a credit card fee, right? But if they choose to pay a credit card with the credit card, then don't have to pay a credit card fee, right? But if they choose to pay a credit card with the credit card, then they will have to pay a convenience fee.

The convenience fee can be anywhere between 2.5 to like 4%. So I was just like, okay, but won't that drive like a lot of people's customers like away? And they were like, no, dude, like less than 5% of small business owners in the States right now

are currently using this program. But the people that are, they've completely saved tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year using this program. And it works. And it's been launched only a few years ago. So I'm looking at this as like opportunity of a lifetime because I was like, it's a big blue ocean, meaning that like, there's so much opportunity out there. Yes. There'll be some businesses, some merchants that won't buy, but majority of people will buy it because ultimately in sales people buy you, right? People want to work with you. If they, if you're educate them, if you provide value and then you build foundation with them, then I mean, majority of the drawback behind buying your offer or using your services

is out the door guys. So always remember that it's whenever somebody asks you, well, what makes you different? No matter what industry you're in, what makes you different is you. And if you look at marketing right now in business in 2024. Majority of the most successful entrepreneurs and successful companies, it's them. People are buying personal brands like crazy. Just take this example. Kanye West, during the Super Bowl a few weeks back, he did literally a selfie video promoting his brand dropped millions of dollars, but was able to make 3X his return on investment on promoting it during the Super Bowl. And it's because he has a very strong personal brand. So when it comes down to it, I ended up launching my own merchant services company in

February of 2023. Now we've generated a little bit over $5 million in the first year, which is remarkable. And guys, I'm going to tell you something right now. I mean, the haters in the industry, I'm not bashing anyone, but man, we get so much hate because we are the new company in the industry and it's very cutthroat. I mean, the merchant services industry is very cutthroat and they bash people like for nothing, no type of proof, nothing. They would just go and just write the craziest claims online. But you have to remember that you're there for your vision. You're there for your goals. You're there for what's going to fulfill you and your why. And going into this new business, I knew that it wasn't going to be easy.

Entrepreneurship will never be easy, no matter what business you start out with, guys. And one thing that I've been able to leverage from the time that I've started in corporate America, from the time I was in law enforcement, from the time I started my ATM business, my digital marketing business, and then now my credit card machine business is that I've always been able to have good mentors. So the key takeaway for this one is if you're thinking about entrepreneurship, I highly recommend that you find the best person in whatever niche, whatever business that you want to start and actually have them mentor you. Provide either some type of value or just pay them so you

are able to get a shortcut to success. This is what's allowed me to become a multi-millionaire in the past seven years. Hope this helps you out, guys. Take care. Remember, I always have your six.
