Welcome to the Level Up Podcast.
I'm your host, Paul Alex.
I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur
that helps average people like you and me
make money every single day.
I created this podcast to help you get motivated
and to crush your goals.
Let's win together.
Remember, I have your six.
Get ready to level up right now.
Okay, guys, so today we're gonna be talking
about something that every aspiring entrepreneur faces, including myself, the fear of failure.
It's natural to be scared of failing in anything, but the key to success is pushing through that fear and just going through it.
We'll also discuss the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, how to outwork anyone, and using common sense to gain a competitive edge.
Now, the fear of failure can be paralyzed. It's that little voice in your head that says,
well, Paul, what if you're not good enough, man? What if you make a mistake? But the truth is,
every successful person has faced failure at some point. The difference is that they did not let fear stop them.
They actually embraced it.
They learned from it and they kept moving forward no matter what.
Imperfect action.
Now, so how do you go ahead and push through fear and just go for it?
Well, the first step is to take imperfect action.
Even if it's a small step.
Just start, guys.
Just do it.
The act of moving forward, even in incrementally small steps, builds momentum and confidence with every single step.
Set clear and achievable goals and break them down into manageable tasks.
Focus on progression, not perfection. Look, you have to
surround yourself with the right people. It's extremely crucial. I didn't really start leveling
up my life until I actually started investing in self-education, finding mentors, being around
highly successful individuals and people that are driven guys who are going to inspire you,
challenge you, and even support your growth. These individuals can provide valuable insight
into your business, into your personal growth. They can encourage you. And guess what? You guys
will keep each other accountable. Learn from their experiences, both their successes and their
failures. Remember, you are the average of the
five people you spend the most time with. So choose your five wisely. Look, I've learned to outwork
almost anyone in any place. And the reason why, okay, here's my secret. Talent is important,
but hard work and dedication are truly what sets you apart. Barely wanting to put in the extra
hours, go the extra mile and do what others won't. This level of commitment not only propels you
forward, but also demonstrates your dedication and resilience. You have to lead by example.
Look, and then dude, this is no disrespect to anybody, but there's a lot of people that don't have common sense, guys.
So I'm going to show you exactly why common sense is overlooked.
It's incredibly powerful, guys.
In a world full of complex strategies and theories, sometimes the simplest approach is the most effective.
This is what I've learned in business, okay?
Use your intuition and practical knowledge to make sound decisions.
Trust your gut
and don't overcomplicate things. Don't be indecisive. Don't be an overthinker. Often,
the best solutions are the ones that are right in front of you. And lastly, guys, you got to be able
to adapt. The ability to pivot and adjust your plans as needed is vital to your success. The entrepreneurship journey is really a straight
line, guys. It's full of twists, ups and downs, and turns, just like a roller coaster. So you have
to stay flexible and you have to be open to change. This adaptability will help you navigate
challenges and seize new opportunities when they come up. So guys, I hope this helps you tremendously.
It's helped me tremendously a lot
in my success in the past seven years.
Until next time, stay focused, stay driven,
and as always, let's level up.
Remember, I always have your six.
