Welcome to the Level Up Podcast.
I'm your host, Paul Alex.
I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur
that helps average people like you and me
make money every single day.
I created this podcast to help you get motivated
and to crush your goals.
Let's win together.
Remember, I have your six.
Get ready to level up right now.
All right, how many of you guys every single year,
especially in 2024, have gone ahead and actually said, this is my three year.
This is my five year goals. I'm trying to be a millionaire. Nowadays, people are like, I'm trying to be a billionaire.
I'm trying to get that two hundred thousand dollar Lambo. I'm trying to get that five5 million home in the suburbs. Does this sound familiar, guys?
Guys, this was me back in my teenage years, all the way up to about my mid-20s.
And then finally, it came to a point where I started thinking, I was like, every single
year, I go ahead and I talk about goals, right?
But the thing is, I would go ahead and project so big goals where I
didn't have a clear path to actually obtain those goals. So it wasn't until I actually got introduced
to one of my first mentors, which he was in the ATM industry and he was a multimillionaire. He
had thousands of machines nationwide. And this dude was one of the first dudes to ever tell me anything like this,
but also to keep it real, black and white. And I'm a straight shooter, guys. You guys know I
come from law enforcement, so I have tough skin. But he told me, he's like, Paul, realistically,
what's your goal with the ATM industry? And I had told him, I was like, look, man, I'm just
trying to become financially free. That's it. I'm working 80 to 100 hours a week. I mean,
I love what I do. I'm a cop's cop. But at the end of the day, like, I don't want to be here for another 27 years,
busting my ass 80 to a hundred hour work weeks. And then, you know, dying from a heart attack as
soon as I retire. Right. Because that's, that's what I was seeing left to right. I was just like,
this shit's crazy. So then he had told me, I was just like, dude, you have to set realistic goals. Like, where do you see yourself
actually making from this business in the next 12 months? And I had told him, I was like, based on
what I've been able to do in the past month, because that's when I transitioned to getting
a mentor during that time was a month. And he has said, well, you know, you're able to land six locations, three are not
doing that well, but I could get you to the next level. But you have to tell me a number and you
have to be assertive about it. There's no maybes. There's no possibilities. There's either yes or
no, because that's the first thing you have to tell yourself before you execute.
You have to already obtain that goal and accomplish it in your mind.
So then you're able to transition that into the vision that you could go ahead and obtain
for yourself.
And Paul, I'm going to tell you something right now.
No one is going to see that vision except you.
And I took that.
I took that perspective. And I was just like, you know what? I want to be able to land 10 locations within this year, this next
12 months. And he's like, that's extremely reasonable. That means that you only have to land
about one to two locations a month. And I was just like, you know what? You're right.
I could see myself already doing that. I could see myself actually accomplishing that goal
very, very fast. And guys, within the span of the next 17 months, okay, with him, I was able to
actually obtain over 30 locations, which I became financially free. I was able to increase another five figures into
my bottom line every single month. And that's residual income, not active income. And I was
able to reduce my workload by 40 hours, guys. So I was working 80 minimum hours a week. That
includes overtime, blood money, active income. And I was able to reduce
it all the way down to my regular 40 hours. And then I had the time to invest into other
businesses, which then allowed me to go ahead and actually research, self-educate myself,
get into digital marketing, expand on the simple business that I knew, which was ATMs at the side,
because at that time, no one wanted to be the police. So I didn't take out like a program or anything on how to be a cop, even
though I could do that. I can mentor a ton of people. Like if you're trying to be a cop, just
hit me on the DMs. We can talk about like one-on-one mentorship or whatnot. And I'll do that
for free just because I know that there's a lot of police agencies out there that need that help.
They need help in the recruitment area. And I'm
down. I'm down. I'm all for law enforcement. I'm all for America. You know, I'm all about helping
people. And I'm down for anybody who wants to be a first responder. Hey, just share this podcast
with anybody else who's trying to be a cop or first responder. I'll help you out. Okay.
So you have to have smaller goals. And now that I've invested over $150,000 with
my newest mentor, he goes by the name of Russell Brunson. He owns this company. I think it's a
billion dollar company now called ClickFunnels. And that mastermind that I went to a few months
ago in Idaho, where his headquarters is at, they were talking about small wins. And they're like, small wins is what's going
to get you ahead of life. And the small wins is going to allow you to grow faster because you're
going to get the momentum. And that's what everybody needs in life, guys. See, I was able
to scale my ATM business because I got a little bit of momentum and I was just like, this could
actually work. I just need to double down on the foundation.
And then same thing with digital marketing.
I made $3,000 when I first launched my first educational program online and I didn't know
shit about digital marketing.
And I was just like, you know what?
I could do this.
There's no difference between me and the guys making $100,000 or a million dollars a month.
I could do this.
So if you guys take the perspective of what I'm telling you right now, you guys can do
the exact same thing in whatever niche, whatever industry that you're trying to do. Level up. I
hope this helps. Remember, I always have your six. Make sure to share this episode with your family,
