Starting point is 00:00:33 Welcome to the Level Up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now.
Starting point is 00:00:55 What's up, everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up. podcast, I'm Paul Alex, and today we are talking about the most valuable four hours of your entire day, the 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. shift, because let's be real. Your 9 to 5 job pays your current bills, but what you do between the hours of 5 and 9 is exactly what dictates your legacy. Let's break down how to weaponize your evenings. First, realize that clocking out of your day job is not the finish line. It is the starting gun. Too many people come home from the corporate grind completely exhausted, crash on the couch and turn on the television to decompress.
Starting point is 00:01:28 That is exactly how you guarantee you will be working for someone else for the rest of your life. When you are building a bridge out of the rat race, you do not have the luxury of casual downtime. Whether you are building software or learning high ticket sales, the evening is your proving ground. If you numb the exhaustion with entertainment, you kill your only escape route. Second, you have to fiercely protect that time block from all outside interference. People do not escape the matrix by accidentally working on their side hustle when they have free time. They escape by treating their evening shift with more respect than their day job.
Starting point is 00:02:03 So instead of going to happy hour or scrolling social media, lock the door, put the phone in another room, and execute deep, focused work for four straight hours. Make your evening grind a sacred, untouchable ritual. Lastly, the compounding effect of the night shift is mathematically explosive. When you dedicate 20 hours a week of hyper-focused energy to your own asset, the momentum eventually eclipses your corporate salary. Unwavering discipline, extreme sacrifice, and a total focus on the macro vision, create an unshakable founder. When you master the 5 to 9, you eventually own the 9 to 5. Bottom line, you are either building someone else's dream during the day or your own dream at night.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Take the second shift, build the machine, and secure your freedom. because when you do, you will exit the Matrix faster than ever. Thanks for tuning into the Level Up podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you, true wealth is built after the sun goes down. Grind in the dark, shine in the light, and as always, keep leveling up.
