If you are still bragging about the first big month you had years ago, your current strategy is dead. And if you are living in the past,

your future is in serious trouble. Let's break down how to stay hungry after you secure the win. First, realize that yesterday's home run does not win today's game. Too many people hit a massive revenue goal and immediately put their feet up on the desk. You cannot do that.

If you made your first big surge organ, or hit a record-breaking month with ads, the market has already shifted since then. Whether it is a successful course launch or a massive consulting deal, past performance does not guarantee future survival. If you rest on your laurels, you kill your momentum. Second, you have to reset the scoreboard to zero every single morning. People do not build generational empires by admiring the work they already did. They build them by assuming they are constantly at risk of,

losing it all. So instead of framing your old awards and staring at them, look at the next mountain, make your current success the absolute baseline for tomorrow. Lastly, starve your ego to feed your ambition. When you stop acting like you have already won the championship, you start practicing like a rookie again.
