Welcome to the Level Up Podcast.
I'm your host, Paul Alex.
I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur
that helps average people like you and me
make money every single day.
I created this podcast to help you get motivated
and to crush your goals.
Let's win together.
Remember, I have your six.
Get ready to level up right now.
When I was younger in my 20s, I didn't have a routine.
I'm not even going to fluff it for you guys.
You know, I look at social media and sometimes it makes me sick.
And the reason why is because I don't use social media for personal reasons, guys.
And I look at some people, it's almost cringe that some people are like,
wake up at 3 a.m., work out, have a six pack, drink a gallon of water, you know, and
then go hit a second gym workout and then go work for like eight hours, have your dinner
and you're just a total ninja, right?
You're a monk.
And I'm like, dude, is this even real?
Like these people must not have families.
They must not have girlfriends or boyfriends or whatever.
And I'm just like, there's no way there's no way. But one thing I can tell you is having a routine
can save your life. And what do I mean by that? It's shows how much discipline you have as you
grow as a person guys. Now, as you guys can clearly see, I'm not a big fan of the monk routines,
but I am a fan of routines that are actually sustainable.
What does that mean?
That means that you know yourself.
I know myself so well that I know if I don't go to the gym
the first thing in the morning, guess what?
It's not going to get done.
I know if one of my employees calls me the day before we go to the office and doesn't make sure
that I'm going to be on time, that more than likely I'm going to be late. That's just the
reality, guys. And my employees know this. They know this, okay?
So what it comes down to is just being real with yourself.
You got to know yourself.
You got to say like, look, I know I'm not going to go to the gym unless I do it now.
And you have to program yourself to build your specialized routine.
But as long as you stick to the routine, guys, that's all that matters.
If you miss a day,
you miss a day. It is what it is. You're going to go ahead and do it the next day anyways.
It also goes when you guys are doing a business. Think about sustainability. I understand.
Even if you're right now, you're young, you're hungry, you're 21, whatever it is, or you're in
your 30s, you're in your 40s, you're in yourifties, and you're just hungry. You're hungry to get to that level of either being rich or wealthy. Right. And you
just want to work, work, work, work guys. I've been there. I've been there and I've burnt myself
out to the point where like, I don't even want to work anymore. Right. But I have learned to build
such a believable routine that I know myself so good enough that I'm
able to say, okay, you know what?
I'm going to wake up at 8 a.m. every day instead of waking up at 4 or 5 and then possibly getting
sick because I'm not sleeping enough or I'm not getting proper sleep.
So I'm going to wake up at 8.
And then as long as I hit the gym by 10 a.m., we're ready to rock. Hit the gym,
come back, get something to eat, and then go start my workday. Now, depending on how heavy the work
day is, I'll work from 12 to seven, right? Seven hours. But you're straight focus, focus. Let's say you have kids. If you have kids, you as an entrepreneur, you're
able to delegate when you're going to spend time with your kids. And usually you want to talk it
all with your spouse or your wife or whatnot, of course. But at the end of the day, you have to
make a believable routine that works for you. Please do not copy these guys online saying, Hey, you got to live
like a monk in order to be successful. Because I'm telling you right now, some of the most
successful entrepreneurs that I have met, I have network with everyone's different.
That may work for someone else, but it may not work for you. So build your own routine, your personalized routine,
just like I have guys, and you'll run a sustainable business and a sustainable lifestyle.
