Too many people try to start a business based on what they think is trendy or cool. But most successful businesses solve a specific problem for a specific group of people. My first major win was with automated teller machines, ATMs, and credit card processing. I wasn't chasing the latest fad. I was actually solving a problem that businesses were willing to pay for. And I scaled from there. Simple businesses, right guys? Boring businesses. But if you can solve a real problem, people will pay for

it again and again. That's how you build a sustainable business. The second secret is to build a scalable business. When I started, I was just thinking about how to make a quick buck. I was thinking about how to create a business that can grow without me being involved every step of the way. That's where residual income came into play. Whether it was ATMs, credit card processing, or any other business, you need to create systems that can run without you. Now, if your business depends on you 24-7, you're limiting your potential. Systems create you to scale, and scaling creates wealth. Next, you need to master sales.

A lot of people are afraid of sales, but let me tell you something. Sales are the lifeblood of your business. If you can't sell, you can't grow. And when I first got into corporate sales, I learned how to communicate value, build relationships, and close deals. That skill translated directly into scaling my businesses into seven figures and eight figures and beyond. Sales isn't about pushing products. It's about creating solutions and building trust. Master that and the sky's the limit for you guys in any industry. Another key to building a million dollar business is building the right team. This is crucial. You can't do it alone, and you shouldn't try. Find people who are smarter than you in areas where you need help, whether it's marketing, operations, or even finance, guys. Surround yourself with experts who can help you scale faster and more effectively. Your team is

your greatest asset. Choose wisely and empower them to help grow the business alongside you. Finally, the last secret, consistency, guys. Most people give up when things get hard, but building a million-dollar business requires long-term commitment. I didn't build my businesses overnight. It took years of grinding, learning, and growing, but I stayed consistent. And that's
