Let's break down how to put the blinders on and stay in your lane. First, understand that you are comparing your behind the scenes to someone else's front stage.

Too many entrepreneurs look at a rival's massive revenue claims and feel completely inadequate. They do not see the massive debt, the high turnover rate, or the failing mental health behind that post. If you base yourself worth on an illusion, you will constantly feel like a failure. Whether you are comparing follower counts or profit margins, looking sideways is a distraction. If you focus on them, you kill your own focus. Second, the only metric that actually matters is your own progression. People do not win the race by staring at the runner next to them. They win by watching the path directly in front of their feet.

So, instead of tracking what the competition is doing, relentlessly track your own key performance indicators. Make beating your past self your only daily objective.
