If you are paying elite executive six figures to run your company, but you constantly step in and do their jobs for them, you are literally setting capital on fire. Let's break down the financial cost of not trusting your team. First, realize that every time you intervene, you are paying for the exact same task twice. You pay your marketing director to build the campaign. And then you spend three, hours of your own extremely valuable CEO time rewriting it.

That is a catastrophic misallocation of resources. If your hourly rate as a founder is $1,000 an hour and you spend your afternoon fixing a spreadsheet, you just paid $3,000 for data entry. Whether you run a tech startup or a logistics firm, your lack of trust is bankrupting you. If you double do the work, you kill your profit margins. When you trust your team to execute the standard operating procedures without your input, your payroll actually generates an ROI instead of being a sunk cost. Supreme Trust, elite hiring, and fierce protection of your own time, create an untouchable founder. When you stop taxing your team with your ego, the business explodes. Bottom line, you hired them to do a job. Now get out of their way and let them do it. Protect your time.
