I created this podcast to help you get motivated
and to crush your goals.
Let's win together.
Remember, I have your six.
Get ready to level up right now.
Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast.
I'm gonna be your host, Paul Alex,
and today we're gonna be diving into something that might surprise you guys.
Okay.
Why you shouldn't listen to most business advice these days.
So everyone online seems to have an opinion and that's okay.
Rightfully so.
They should, right?
But if you're not careful, you can easily end up overwhelmed or misled.
So let's get into why filtering advice is crucial
and how to recognize what's actually worth your time.
So first, remember that all advice
does not apply to your situation.
Business isn't a one size fits all.
What worked for someone else may not work for you
because every business is unique, different challenges,
different goals, different audiences, different people, right?
So, taking advice from someone who doesn't understand your industry or your vision, that doesn't make sense.
So, that's a fast track to going down the wrong path.
Always make sure that advice is relevant to your specific journey.

Second, consider the source.
Just because someone shares advice doesn't mean they're qualified to give it.
Do they have the experience?
Do they have the track record?
Do they have the proof to back it up?
Untested or unverified advice can cost you time, money, and energy.
I always say go off of facts, not hearsay.
So look for people who have achieved the results you're after. Mentors who have been
where you want to go are the ones listening to, okay? Third, trust your own intuition and experience.
So as you build your business, you're gaining insights that no one else has. You got to trust
those instincts. So if a piece of advice feels off or it doesn't align with your vision, listen to
that gut feeling.
Only you know what's best for your business.
Sometimes the lessons you learn from trial and error
are more valuable than anything a stranger can tell you.
Trust me, guys, I've learned this the hard way.
So lastly, focus on advice
that aligns with your values and goals.
Not every tip or strategy will fit your mission, guys.
So some advice might focus on quick wins or short-term gains but if you're in this for sustainable growth you got
to be selective. Choose advice that resonates with where you're headed
long-term and ignore the rest of the noise guys. Not all advice is gonna be
created equal guys. You got to filter what you hear by understanding its
relevance, considering the source, trusting your own intuition, and focusing on what aligns with your values, okay?
That's what it's about, your values. Success in business isn't about finding
what works for you, it's about sticking with it. So guys, thanks for tuning in
into the Lovell podcast with Paul Alex, reminding you that building a business
isn't about blindly following advice, guys. It's about creating your own path, trusting your instincts, and as always, let's level
up.
