Starting point is 00:00:00 Limber Presents Episode 11. Harse Reality. Let me understand. The only way you'll allow me to stay in this country is if I work for you and Tila. Yes, you seem to have a grasp on the situation. You have been identified as the wayseeker, and one who, indirectly or otherwise inspired pitch, and had a hand in the causation of the pitch incident. All of which is to say that you are of special interest to our government. While I disagree that you are dangerous, I mean, look at you. There is no denying that you have a special involvement with the limboes, that spire thing, pitch, and would be an invaluable asset. I'm going to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:00:46 We found your recordings and the wreckage from your office. They are in our archive, so we know all about you swearing off this line of work, and you know firsthand just how dangerous it is. I don't want to force you, but you know, You know you don't have much of a choice here. We will provide you with any accommodations and resources you need. No restrictions. More archival work.
Starting point is 00:01:08 I can't say that's very exciting. I think you'll find that we are a lot more hands on than your previous employers, and I trust that I have your cooperation. Just like you said, I don't have much of a choice here. Good. Welcome to T-I-L-A. Happy to have you on board. November 22nd, first day of the Wayseeker was in the T-I-L-A.
Starting point is 00:01:42 I have started off their assignment with basic testimony archival. Like what they did previously at the L-R-P-U, the following is their mandatory audio recording of their day's events. The testimony of one's scythe, regarding their whereabouts and limbo, as well as their immediate. actions following the limbo's end. The limbo has been given the alias of stargazing. Scyth was an astronomer by trade and had spent a long part of their childhood and youth infatuated by stars in the idea of looking at space as a whole. As they grew, so did
Starting point is 00:02:16 their appreciation for what they could see simply by looking up at the stars every night. Immediately prior to the limbo's 28-hour-long period, Scyth was looking up at a nearby moon through their telescope. However, once the limbo began, Scyth found themselves on that moon instantly, inexplicably able to breathe without any issue. The moon itself was a barren wasteland, except for a floating spherical object off in the distance, which had appeared to be slowly moving towards Scyth. As minutes became hours, Scyth passed the time with what had initially appeared to be searching around, looking to see as if there was anything they could do.
Starting point is 00:02:55 As it became increasingly clear that there wasn't anything they could do, they sat down on the moon's surface and looked toward the object that was now definitely closer towards them. A description of the objects has been provided, tall, engulfing the skyline in both height and width, smooth, grey, round. Eventually, after an estimated time of 14 hours, the object reached sight and stopped in its tracks. The object then spoke to sight. It was only a few words, you do not belong. In an instant, Scyth was back at their telescope, dazed, covered in dust and 14 hours before everyone else did. They didn't know this, however, until afterwards, as they immediately went to sleep after the stress of the events of that day. Closing thoughts. This limbo is troubling, for one.
Starting point is 00:03:48 It gives me information about my new employer, something I can only assume is deliberate. It also further confirms the existence of other entities such as Spire and the explosion. caused by Pitch. And most wonely of all, I've been going off the assumption that Limbos are not of here, other universes, cosmic areas. But this testimony floats the idea of Limbos being other planets. At least this one is, are all of them other planets? Most so far away we never would have known. Was the city in Pitch's Limbo some kind of ruins instead of a metropolis like I originally assumed? Was my limbo, another planet too? I'm not sure. sure what to make of this.
Starting point is 00:04:30 So, how was your first assignment? You contacted an entity. Is that what you're calling them? Yes, yes I did. A brief contact, but contact nonetheless, I suppose. I don't think my contact was nearly on the same scale as yours, however. I mean, you even managed to record audio evidence of yours. Meanwhile, you have to trust that what you read was reality.
Starting point is 00:04:55 What's that supposed to mean? Did you know that mental health facility? had a huge boost in attendance after the events of the limbo. People assumed they'd spent the last 28 hours of their life hallucinating and tried to get treatment for it. You can understand where they are coming from, but I know where I came from. I found out that I came back early, so I knew this is the place I had to be. You see that jar in my desk in front of you, the one of the nondescript rock in it?
Starting point is 00:05:22 Yes, you're telling me this is from... These limboes are real, physical place. and my intention here is to go to them, not by contact with some entity, but myself. And you, Wayseeker, will help me get there. Otherwise, you could always return to the smoldering wreckage of your past mistakes. Don't make another one. The Limbo is made by The Limbo Podcast.
