The Limbo presents episode 14 on reality check. These replacement modulators seem like they could be beneficial to the goal of Tealer. There is one thing that is bothering me, however. If their goal was really to rescue people, why all the secrecy? Bringing people back from Limbo seems quite noble. They would surely get support if they dropped the archival cover story. around, so let me just... Go? Sithe! I'm heading home! Right. I'm at home right now and something feels wrong. None of my home appliances are working, save for this recorder I keep on me. But that isn't the weird thing. I mean, power outages can happen.

No. It's quiet. eerily quiet. I can't hear any birds or... or wind or anything of that nature. I don't like it, but it's late. Investigation will be pointless if I'm too exhausted to make sense of anything. So, recorder, I will see you in the morning. It's now morning.

I had hoped that whatever the issue was would be made clear by the time I woke up, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And to make things worse, the door to my apartment seems to be. stuck in place and that door doesn't lock which only makes me more concerned. Thankfully there is a window I can slip out through. It won't be comfortable but that has really big concern right now. If I just fit into here, got it. I'm out and everything is still. It doesn't appear to be anyone else at all like cars or wind or wind or or anything.

Am I in limbo? The last person I saw was sithed in that meeting yesterday where they shared that... Damn it, I'm in a limbo, aren't I? The big thing of note is I can see no obvious entity, nothing seemingly bigger than the skyline itself or off in the distance. By all accounts, it's just quiet. I'm going to try to get to the highest point I can access in the area. See if I can spot anything out of view from where I am now.

It's been about three hours, I think. I had to walk all the way to the tallest part I can actually access. Initially, I tried to get to the sky deck, but of course that wasn't accessible. So I grabbed a nearby bike and began to ride it all the way from a city into some city. Someone more open and there is... Nothing. Nothing at all. It's like I'm the last person anywhere. This must have put up was been like during the limbo, but there's no entities and no nothing.

I need to go back. I need to find out what's going on. It's been one day since my last recording. The batteries in my recorder ran out shortly after my last message, so I rode back in the silence. I found some canned food in a shop and ate it sitting on my street in the evening light. It was almost peaceful. I did something similar for breakfast once I woke up, still having to get in and out through my window, which is a pain.

I'm nowhere close to figuring out what's going on, but at least I have an objective now. I need to get back to Teeler. Hopefully there are some answers or at least it gives me some direction for today. I still have that bike with me, so I'm going to ride over there shortly. As with everything else, Teeler is dead quiet. I'm standing in Science Office and on the desk is a file labeled Wayseeker. I can't escape that alias, can I? I'm going to go to my recording equipment to read this to have some semblance of normalcy to process whatever is in this file.

I don't really know what to make of this. It seems that sometime during my reading of the file on the replacement modulators, one was activated around me, taking me here.

However long in the future while the rest of the population just disappeared, leaving this silence I find myself in. Scythe did a lot more than recreate an entity. They recreated the limbo.
