The Limbo - Episode 4 - Deeper Into Abyss

It's been one month since my project was shut down by the LRPU. This recording serves as a collection of my findings since that day. Making use of the glitch in the system that has not gone away, you may be wondering why it's been so long since my last recording. I had to wait. If I used this access to see everything all at once, then I would surely have been found out, no matter how tempting the idea has been. So I, I waited, only looking for any files that were only slightly adjacent to my prior duties here,

gradually taking more risks as it became clear to me that nobody was looking or caring even about me at all. That new role that they said that they would have to me by the beginning of next week never came. They forgot all about me, which is perfect. They are bureaucracy, administration, government. They take forever. Meaning, for now at least, I have free reign and the access to top it off. I shouldn't be celebrating. The incompetence of my higher officers only makes me more suspicious.

This organization was founded a mere two weeks after the limbo. That quickly, and yet I've been left to the wayside. It makes no sense. So, here is what I've found so far. The government of this country, in the wake of the event that captured the world two weeks ago, will be forming a new subsidiary, the Limbo Response and Prevention Unit. This will serve the purpose of documentation and recovery for the ultimate victims of the limbo catastrophe two weeks ago. Other governments such as the United Kingdom, United States of America, China,

Canada and Tasmanian Isles will be forming their own equivalents and we urge citizens of those regions to contact those organisations. We can and will get through this. That was a direct transcript from the announcement of the LRP's forming by our Prime Minister. What's his face? You know how it mentioned the other governments and their equivalents? Well while they were still all barely conceiving what to do in the wake of the limbo here we are we're the fully prepared statement and organization within a mere fortnight. This is of course publicly available information and yet it is the earliest mention of the LRP at all in the current database. The organization officially started the very next day. Do you

understand how unlikely no impossible that is? Two weeks. Hello, a quarter. It's been three days since my initial recording. I've begun to look around the restricted files. It's been surprisingly easy to do. It feels like everything I need is just here. Well, I don't mean to sound so elated. It's just been so long since it's been any kind of progress. It's a relief to just have something go right. It's been frustratingly slow, being cautious over this last month, but I felt that I've been being watched recently. I don't know. Either way, progress is good. I'll continue on looking for any files that look out of place. Hello again, recorder. It's been a few hours since my last recording, but I believe I have made a breakthrough. I have been

holed up inside a cupboard to ensure no one walks in on me reading this, as there have been some close calls recently. I'm sure no one knows about what I'm doing. At least if they have, there has been any kind of resistance or discipline. The breakthrough? Yes. In the highest restricted files of the LRPU, I have found a document dated one year prior to the limbo. I admit that this could be a computer error as I'm yet to actually

open it, which I'll be doing now. Oh, this file is a transcript of a set of encoded messages between the two of the higher ups in the LUPU, the bigger higher ups, the named and known higher ups. In it, they are talking about a discovery that they've made of a separate place from here. a place that forms and shifts to the thoughts of the one who enters up inside. It's the limbo, I'm sure of it. They hadn't named it yet, but they knew about the limbo. An entire year before everything. This is dangerous. It says here that they control it. They put people inside it. The names they listed are multiple missing persons cases. Known and less so.

They must have ended up in limbo because of the ARPAU, because of those higher-ups. Now that I know, oh, I have to get out of here. There's footsteps outside the cupboard in my office.
