The Luke and Pete Show - Give Us a Chance

Episode Date: October 22, 2026

While Pete's been charmed by an Instagram lad’s enthusiasm, Luke’s been bored out of his mind by Wolves vs. Portsmouth. So poor was the spectacle, in fact, that it briefly made him look favour...ably on live execution – like the one just cancelled in the US. A Trump mention prompts a discussion about Vivek Ramaswamy, old fashioned fat guy Chris Christie and the continuing weirdness of looksmaxxers.Plus, we hear all about Pete’s recent trip to Glasgow.Send us your latest stories, questions and comments here: hello@lukeandpeteshow.com.The Luke and Pete Show is the sometimes ridiculous, always funny podcast with Luke Moore and Pete Donaldson: two men who have time on their hands and a good idea of how to waste it. Starting point is 00:00:00 Come on, Luca Pete's show. Give us a chance. It's the Luke and Pete Show. Pete Donnell's with you joined by Mr. Lukum. I was just referencing a boy on Instagram. I find very charming. He's a young lad. He's got quite a few followers now.
Starting point is 00:00:17 He's starting to get licensing deals with people. But his whole thing is literally going to somewhere, like, I don't know, Stanford Bridge and going, come on, Chelsea, give us a chance. In a sort of Irish accent. And wherever he goes, come on, Subway. Give us a chance. Like that.
Starting point is 00:00:32 And that's a sore thing. And I find it utterly devastatingly charming. Yeah, my read on that is you have now been so browbeaten by the current state of the internet and the world. Yeah. That you're looking for quaint. Causey. Cozy boys. Yeah, cozy content to keep yourself away from the inevitable collapse of civilization.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Is that fair or is that harsh? Well, I think the yin and yang of the looking pet show is that you'd say that everything's gone to hell in the handcart. and we're, you know, we're very close to the end. And me, I'm just like a lovely ostrich stick me head in the sand going, I like warm sand on my face, thank you. It's pleasant, exfuating. Can I, if we are going to live up to the stereotypes of us as human beings, can I just point out to you that ostriches have never and probably will never ever put their heads in the sand?
Starting point is 00:01:21 Right. Who historically? Well, I think it was just invented by some cartoon. Okay. All right. Everyone thinks ostrichies do it. But ostrich is a massively. powerful animals.
Starting point is 00:01:32 They're going to kick the shit out of you before they put their head in the sand. Oh, and I suppose that Disney invented lemmings falling off cliffs as well. All the good people at DMA design. Are you an ostrich? Are you an ostrich? Are you an ostrich? Are you an ostrich, for crying out of them? Remember that?
Starting point is 00:01:46 Who was it? Nigel Pearson? Nigel. I thought it was Pierso. Pierce O. So, yeah, I do think this show will eventually, when we well, hopefully we're fortunate enough for you and I individually to resurface after the inevitable collapse civilization. I think this might be,
Starting point is 00:02:02 this show could be like a decent chronicle of the end of days. Wasteland Radio, like in Fallout, we could be one of those DJs are just yammering on as people are just trying to scavenge the scotched earth for gasoline and... How does that work though? Because, sure, they have no real, consistent power and ability to broadcast and all the technology you need to actually broadcast. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:02:27 How do they, what, after the, after, well, I guess broadcasting radio is probably one of the more simpler things you can do, I suppose. It's all quarters and, you know, a couple of batteries. But you need power. You need power, but you can create power, can't you? Just get yourself a little bit of some metals, some metals, some acids, which you'll be plentiful after the apocalypse, it would be a lot of, like, stuff just littered, littered around.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Little tip for those out there who are planning on producing a post-apocalyptic radio program, if you are going to use a generator for power, make sure the generator is in another room. Exactly, yeah. Because your noise gating is going to be the least of your worries. I don't care if there has been a cataclysmic event. I still require a microphone, good microphone discipline. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:08 And I think, you know, you're not going to have access to Adobe Creative Cloud. Yeah, it's going to be live only, baby. You know. Exactly. It's going to go out and there's going to be lost to the ether because no one's going to have any way of holding on stuff because of all of the EMP grenades that have been exploded all over the world.
Starting point is 00:03:26 And all the satellites will have fallen out of the sky slash space, probably. It's going to be properly old school AM wavelength only. Yeah. And I think this content would probably just be, all the features would just be, do you remember when we did this? Do you remember when we had that? I'm going to be, I mean, that's all we do anywhere, really. Do you remember that's all the football ramble was today?
Starting point is 00:03:50 Was it? Talking about the 90s. Well, because you've all bored of talking about Man City now? Pretty much, yeah. It's making, out of all the things that make our job quite difficult, Man City being one of those things that you don't want to talk about for obvious reasons, it's making the job quite difficult because there's such a big club that are part of all of the competitions. I just think it's kind of, it makes you sort of question everything about the game.
Starting point is 00:04:19 And I may be a man who watched Newcast United play on Saturday, but I'm questioning a lot of stuff right now. I was, I was, I ended up last night at the time of recording. Last night I ended up watching Wolves won, Portsmouth one. Right, yeah, nice. It's really one of the most boring things I've ever done in my life. Not just the most boring football game. It's one of the most boring things I've done.
Starting point is 00:04:37 I played golf yesterday. Yeah. And I, and it got rained on a bit. You know, at this time of year. Come on, God, give you a chance. Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah. So, come on ball.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Give me a fucking chance. Come on, give us a chance. Come on physics. You know, this time of year, when you're out about, it's a bit blustery, it's a bit bit wet, and you get into, inside you have a nice shower getting some kind of decent cozy clothes, indoor clothes.
Starting point is 00:05:01 I think I don't want to do anything now. Ideally I'll be horizontal until I wake up tomorrow morning. I made the fatal floor mate of putting Wolves 1 ports off on the laptop. Right, yeah. And yeah, it's just so, like so boring.
Starting point is 00:05:17 How do they make it? Because on paper I like football. I like it. But they are somehow able to Portsmouth are amazing in their ability to basically be able to sign players I have never heard of who are invariably shit are they shit are just broadly fine and that's why that's why team that's why championship down games can be forgettable because everyone is everyone's the same the touch is automatic no one's shit anymore
Starting point is 00:05:54 and it just kind of strangles all of the fun out of proceedings in my opinion no yeah I think that's probably a more accurate representation I think it's not that it's shit per se because that in itself would be interesting would be an attorney yeah it's like do you watch do you like movies
Starting point is 00:06:10 and then you get those movies that are so bad they're actually really watchable then you obviously get brilliant movies but you just get the ones that are on the Hallmark Channel in the afternoon yeah but they're bad aren't they they're kind of... Yeah, but they're not bad enough to be watchable.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Yeah. It's like the plot's basically broadly the same. It's normally a bloke who's come to town. A woman works in a shop. Yeah. He comes in. She's interested, but she doesn't say anything. There's a bit of a kind of
Starting point is 00:06:40 a bit of confusion about something being misinterpreted. He also feels like he's been hurt by love before. Or his wife has died. And then they get together at the end. That's it. 5,000 different. different times.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Yeah. Like, that's what watching Portsmouth's like. I have been hurt before. But do you don't think that's kind of... They do not, they don't listen. They don't listen.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Yeah. It is boring. You know, all these things are the same. It's basically like a middle-aged man's rom-com. But do you think that kind of the, the expression has been trained out of a lot of footballers? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:16 In many ways. And I just need to be boring to do it. I think it's been trained out. I need to be boring to do it. Yeah, you've got to be very committed and commitment in your... I was just down in the gym, Luke, in our very building. Yeah, last time you did that, you sent me a short video of you doing some kind of bench press activity in your work shoes. I just want someone to check my form.
Starting point is 00:07:39 I was down there and there was a man... It's 11.30 in the afternoon, in the morning, in the evening. 11.30 is never been an afternoon time. I know, an afternoon 11. And I think that's what we need. I think we need a new 11thes. Where are we going to have a nice crispy crunch with a cup of tea? We need another 11thes in the afternoon.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Around about half three, a little pre-tee biscuit and tea time. Halfnoon tea, isn't it? It's been a minute. Afternoon tea. Carry on your story. Carry on your story. There's no way going in some kind of homoerotic direction. Carry on.
Starting point is 00:08:12 It was. Well, the man was down there and he was basically doing stretches. And he was on the phone. I think he was like a personal trainer. Because he was phoning. He was talking to somebody. He was talking about another quite serious sounding man on the other end and he was basically going,
Starting point is 00:08:27 talking about what he should be doing a week out from competition. And I presume for some kind of weightlifting competition. There's now it on the end of that phone. There's nowhere on the end of it, mate. And he was going, he was going, you can't change anything massively about your performance a week before your competition, but you can't damage it.
Starting point is 00:08:45 So just keep doing what you're doing. And I was nodding sagely. I wasn't doing it physically. I was screaming in pain because I was lifting things. but I was listening, I was going, great advice. Great advice. And I was thinking, what possible need, so I want to give that advice to everyone else.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Steal a little bit of free personal training. I want to give that to the Luke and Pete Shore. Audience is a little added extra, a little bonus feature. My entire life is hearing good bits of advice. Yeah, that are not applicable to, you know, just adapting them and turn to other people. I know loads of stuff about how, you know, the fuse system on a Boeing 747.
Starting point is 00:09:20 I'm never going to need to know that. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, good point, actually. I think, I think if you, it's a good chance in the post-alocalyptic environment when you're scavenging for tools and things you need for the... Stripping a 747. Yeah, the radio show we do.
Starting point is 00:09:35 You might find, you should see a down plane. It's a hallmark of a lot of disasters is that planes just fall out of sky, don't they? Yeah. Never actually happened, though, is it, you know? Did you see that they... I don't see what would have, why would it happen? they're built to be a very redundant
Starting point is 00:09:54 and be very resilient to anything that's happening elsewhere and fundamentally they can fly themselves so like I don't know why they would be because at this point in time
Starting point is 00:10:05 no but you know there's no subscription service there's no Adobe Creative Cloud for a Cessna is there really so I don't know that would suddenly fall out of the sky get your payment details in get your payment details in
Starting point is 00:10:17 straight isn't working this high off That can't land you, that can't be good. All I would say is just to round off my experience of watching Morves one, Portsmouth one last night, I did suddenly find myself almost in favour of live executions after all. Right, okay, yeah, of course we spoke about, was it on last week, sure, presumably, or earlier in the week, certainly we talked about the live execution that may or may not be going ahead.
Starting point is 00:10:45 It's not going to be going ahead because, of course, it's not. but uh it trumps made some quite interested decisions recently obviously got rid of his uh is is is um oh god what's that job katie oh the per the president comm's director com's director she was amazing she was where they find her from she was amazing barra lago by the sounds of it but yeah obviously yeah the uh that was going to be fun though that was good like even like you you don't want to use you don't want to use terms like airhead because it is gendered but it was it was about as it was the head could count to like if you get those kind of Barbie and Ken characters right yeah but it's Barbie's doing the heavy lifting there isn't they you know what I mean I'm not you mean
Starting point is 00:11:30 a hymn ball I think in this case it probably is warranted I think you can make that comment about her specifically without yeah she's the very dictionary definition of a of an airhead but it was going to be fun man he was going to be lots of fun and now we just got to worry about Xi Jinping, Trump and Putin just getting together and carving up the world. That's what we've got to worry about now. It's amazing they got together and they ended up just doing turned out all they were doing was working on like five or six
Starting point is 00:12:00 police cover songs. Like a three piece. We've decided to release. Power trio. Yeah, Blink 132. We've decided to cover Adam's song feeling this and damn it. A little sort of, for the G7, G6, G7.
Starting point is 00:12:19 I'm sort of old school. For the G7. Was G8 for a bit, wasn't it? It was, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Enjoy. Enjoy it. But the, the, the kind of, I mean, suppose she's probably going to be fine, this, this woman you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:12:34 So I suppose it's not quite as bad as this. But I do think it really has to be some kind of version of rock bottom to be too incompetent for Trump. Yeah. Like, Scaramucci lasted, what, 13 days because he was basically a mouthy guy just talking back to him the whole time. I don't think that counts. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:12:56 He's basically Trump, what we've learned from this is that Trump still has the faculties to be able to assess someone and go, can't have that. Yeah, this has gone really badly. And I don't think he's known for that, really. No, you wouldn't think so. And like, did you say,
Starting point is 00:13:12 and obviously in the same week he got rid of, Can't remember a name. Shouldn't need to know these names, but the Greek, the American envoy to Greece was... Kimberly Gilfoyle. Gilfoyle. You don't need to know these names.
Starting point is 00:13:25 It doesn't fucking matter. It doesn't fucking matter. They're here for six months, and then they're gone, yeah, exactly. Just look exactly the same as everyone else. They're going, and again, she's one of those ones that will probably be given another job because she clearly not...
Starting point is 00:13:39 She was there for the first time for briefing, wasn't she? She kind of knows that the bodies are buried, and she's certainly. you know, through a weight around, like, you know, you kind of know that you've got something over on Trump. I'd love to some, I'd love to be able to email someone and go, can you pay off my 100,000, well, not email, ring them and go, can you, can you pay off my 100,000 pound credit card bill, please?
Starting point is 00:14:05 And then when someone was sort of saying, where'd you want the money said, it? Go, no, don't mention it on the email. It's a paper trail. Don't it on the email. It's the old secret of you killing me. I'd love to be a flirty guy who just florts around making money here and there asking people to pay off my debts oh brilliant I can really give forward that amazing thing which I don't think it gets mentioned enough these days there was some kind of I think it was when Trump got voted in
Starting point is 00:14:31 the second time and all of his cronies were doing speeches yeah and I think it was in a I don't know why there wasn't a crowd there maybe I mean he's You know what? Maybe it was before that. Maybe it was during COVID or something. But anyway, Kimberly Gilfoy, who I believe was married to one of his sons at some point. Because she used to be married to Gavin Newsom as well, I think. Yes, she did.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Amazing. Amazing. She did this speech where she kind of crescendoed up to this final kind of statement where she threw her hands in the air and went, the best is yet to come. And it massively looked like a proper, like, you know, end of life. level boss bad guy in a movie. And I think there was no kind of response.
Starting point is 00:15:20 There was no kind of crowd reaction or anything if there was even a crowd there. And it was genuinely very sinister because she looks quite odd as well, right? So, yeah, very strange stuff. She, she, um, she, um, uh, producer Bruno has written that she was with Trump Jr. for six years from 2018 to 2024. Um, the interesting thing is, I think, I believe she just announced that they were engaged one day and Trump Jr. hadn't professed marriage at all.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And she just announced one day and he just kind of had to roll with it. I love that. That's how they get you. You've got to go with it. That money thing, the other £100,000 credit card debt thing. Warren Buffett's got, I think it's Warren Buffett's got a really interesting take on when you're dealing with that kind of level of money, that level of investment, that level of business, that level of debt. He he he he he he
Starting point is 00:16:14 Buffett said way back of the day it might have even been when Trump was running for the first presidency yeah he said um he was asked his opinion on it right because obviously a big move in the financial world and everything and he said oh you know I don't know he said something like I don't know why people are impressed by Donald Trump this is how he's always done things he um he leverages himself he gets into huge amounts of debt to finance things
Starting point is 00:16:38 he slaps his name and everything and he kind of runs his business in that way and he's usually about a billion dollars in the hole, right? But the vagaries of the US financial system for these people goes as follows. If you're $100 in debt, people will come around and take your TV away from you. And if you're a billion dollars in debt, people will say, just hang in there. Yeah. And that's really basic. You're saying, just dig further to me.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Is that what you're saying? Just like, just as long as you can finance the debt, as long as you can find another kind of financial product, as long as you can, you know, hoover up another business opportunity, you know, your things will turn around. People just think, oh yeah, but he's a businessman, right? So it'll just turn around. That's why he bankrupted himself a bunch of times, because it's just a financial mechanism for him to use to carry
Starting point is 00:17:23 on, right? Yeah. Well, that's not available to us. No. You default on your, um, lap's going to your mortgage. You're in big trouble. Do you get laps coins? Up and running. As someone said to me on the golf course the other week, you've got to piss with the cock you've got.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Good. And if you, You need to know what kind of people hang out of golf courses. It's that. I think Warren Buffett said that. Yeah, exactly. Apparently, I listen, Bruno's telling me, Warren Buffett said that in 1991 about Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:17:53 So a good 20 years or whatever it is. I'd like to run a Bruno versus AI chatbot together. See if, see what nuggets. What nuggets, the AI chatbot could come up with. How are you getting on with your AI recently? You still getting in there? Still vibe coding, me? I do. I didn't I think I read on Twitter somebody said that vibe coding should be called
Starting point is 00:18:19 cutcording because you just sat in there watching. Yeah, it's true. I could totally agree with that. Enjoyable. Enjoyable. I like this idea of like more than ever now we've got this situation where people who live their lives online have a whole language that people who live their lives in reality don't really have any grasp of right. Have you seen it manifest itself? live your life online though and you pretend you don't but you shouldn't not really i've got a family i go outside the house a lot right i have an actual job right um i've got hobbies you can still be very online though can you but that's not what i mean i'm talking about people like you know the looks max the guys the in-sale guys right right you don't see that video of that looks max the guy vivek
Starting point is 00:19:02 old vivek oh vivac's a great vivex a great one there's to be fair midterms quite dull that whole thing but there's been some beautiful there's some beautiful lads and lasses doing some beautiful stuff where do they scare them up from like what it's just what it feels like to me is
Starting point is 00:19:24 just it's almost like the the US is weirdest people yeah did you see did you see Vivax campaign video I think yesterday I did with about
Starting point is 00:19:36 so his opponent is a woman who was you know Trigger war and all that sexually assaulted and raped by her stepfather for
Starting point is 00:19:50 when she was a child and he and the mom Vivex's opponent's mom stayed with this man until the guy died and so Vivek's team got the mom
Starting point is 00:20:06 to basically call her a strange daughter estranged for obvious fucking reasons. A liar and a cheat because she just lies about stuff.
Starting point is 00:20:17 And that's politics. That's fair game in America. Well, I mean, it's not really fair game given the response,
Starting point is 00:20:25 right? It's not fair game as in what? The response has been poor. People have been like, but it's always but yeah,
Starting point is 00:20:32 everyone thinks it's this is disgrace. But it's always just like, you know, I know the Republicans are drowning, but like there's only, it's only ever like, a few Republicans are saying that's bad
Starting point is 00:20:42 a few Republicans are objecting to the Trump the Trump putting fucking diesel deal they just swerve it all yeah they just it's still just you know it's still not enough you know it's still not enough to turn
Starting point is 00:20:55 any ships around me I'm surprised that Ramoswami got still going after he got strips torn off him by Chris Christie that time yeah Chris Christie who was never going to be president he was great to be fair in those
Starting point is 00:21:10 in those moments he was good in the debates he's like I mean I don't agree with the crack guy was he the crack guy yeah yeah yeah it's like one of those
Starting point is 00:21:18 old school fat guys just don't see anymore yeah which I got a lot of time for I don't agree with him politically but he seems at least relatively normal
Starting point is 00:21:27 yeah listen New Jersey guy up to his neck in it he's like he's in the trenches every single day and he goes on that debate stage knowing he's not going to be president
Starting point is 00:21:36 he's in the crackouts every day just tears strips off all the others It's great. It's so good. So we're going to have that old foul jump out of the doors, didn't he? Even even fucking Musk managed to get rid of him.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Musk managed to chin him off, pie him off from all the door stuff. It's amazing. Yeah, if you're going to, I guess if you're going to trim the fat and be a bit leaner, you are going to need to make a few big decisions. But what I meant about the living your life online, living the real world, there's a really fascinating video doing the rounds. of a looks maxing pick-up artist guy who is, I guess for a video for his channel, is out in public trying to, quote, pick up women, right?
Starting point is 00:22:22 Yeah. And fine, it's so far so boring. It's fucking annoying. It's terrible that women have to put up with that shit when they're just trying to go to work or go for lunch or whatever. But we've seen that before, is my point. What's different about it and what is indicative of the schism between almost a real world and the online world, if you like, is that this looks maxing guy.
Starting point is 00:22:44 I can't remember his name. It doesn't matter. He starts talking to a girl he sees just walking along the street. And she's not interested. And so the lines he's using to try and chat to her are like so internet coded. Right. It's become clear pretty quick. She's just a bit confused about what he's actually saying, right?
Starting point is 00:23:08 And then when she's rejecting The opposite set. Yeah, but when she rejects him because she literally can't understand him, right? He then starts saying stuff like, I'm not going to lie. I'll get him pretty pissed off about this now, bro. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I feel like being black peeled. And then she gets really confused again. And he's like, do you know what blackpilling is? And he just starts explaining. And it's like, no amount to, you could be like prime Paul Newman, right? generally speaking people aren't going to be interested in you romantically if you speak in a language I don't understand
Starting point is 00:23:44 you're walking around rape 5,000 languages you know what I mean internet like internet in-cell misogynistic language if you're going to walk around like you know you know a problematic robot people are going to be not only astounded that you know of the stones you've got to even try to talk to anyone because you're an idiot and be no one understands all of the jargon because you've just been you spent too much time on the forums and not enough time in the nightclub in my opinion
Starting point is 00:24:11 that's the deal of course in dawson's case find you a man that can do both find your man who can do both because you can cut a shape you can cut a shape i can fit a dim chip and i can cut a nice shape as well you can do a robot on the dance floor because you lack the commitment to to proper dancing to proper dancing exactly you're too as alan part which says about psychic simon you're too self-conscious and he's secure to commit to proper dancing. So you do it robot. Good, nice. You try to be ironic. Oh, speaking of which, by the way, you're up in Glasgow, I got a Google alert about that. You've got a Google alert.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Yeah, so I've got a Google alert set up for a couple of phrases, like football ram or stack, stuff like that. Right, okay. Just in case it was kind of any, I actually, it was actually set up when we had the PR company. Because they did like a similar thing. And at one point I was just concerned they weren't picking everything up. So anyway, I haven't disabled it.
Starting point is 00:25:09 And I got a Football Rumble one come up. It said about the VGC live show in Glasgow, so now. And it was also attended by Football Rambles, Pete Donaldson. Who wrote that? What piece was it? I don't know. I can probably find it.
Starting point is 00:25:25 You tell us how you got on and I'll tell you. What hallowed organ? I'll tell you which story's historic outlet is covering such a thing. But you tell us how you got on and I'll tell you. It was good. I wasn't really involved I was there I was basically just rolling up
Starting point is 00:25:41 300 posters for them just to help out You know what's like a live event You get access to the venue About five minutes before you're on And you've got to do everything You need to do before you
Starting point is 00:25:52 And they were all right I thought one of the better ones I'd say Around the world No, they're fine No I'm joking, they're fine You're on stage So I've got it here I've got it here
Starting point is 00:26:02 I was doing the roving mic I was doing the roving mic You're on stage on a sofa opposite Jordan Midler. Right, yeah. Jordan Midler sound, like, the name sounds like
Starting point is 00:26:11 Hollywood star, I think, Jordan Midler. Yeah. You know, I'm not, I'm not doing him over, but,
Starting point is 00:26:19 you know, he's a video game journalist. He could do it. He could do a job in Hollywood. The event also. I'll tell you what, he was out of, you know,
Starting point is 00:26:28 when you see someone in like a sort of basically an office or a bedroom or a studio, kind of doing the thing. doing the thing in podcast form and stuff. Seeing him do a live show,
Starting point is 00:26:41 it was like a real kind of like, fucking hell, like he's a proper fucking horse that lad. You know what I mean? Like, you know, when you see Marcus stretching his legs outside of the business, or you on top spot?
Starting point is 00:26:51 I am here. Like you now. Or Luke on Talk Spot. Everything I hate about myself presentationally, Jordan, you, Marcus, can do in droves. And it's, it's incredibly impressive there.
Starting point is 00:27:07 I think you bring a certain amount of chaotic energy that makes people uncomfortable, but I do think you're also capable of great, great things. It says here on this story, just to defrake the phrase, including stage guests, Pete Donaldson and Kezaa McDonald's.
Starting point is 00:27:24 So it looks like a pretty packed auditorium. Did you have a nice time? Did you have a few beers after? What was the highlight? It was good. I mean, it's a lot of people, to be honest, more people spoke to me about laps
Starting point is 00:27:38 Luke and be sure than the Ramble I'd say. Always away. Because there was a lot of crossover I guess from other stacked stuff but yeah it was good man it was a briefly went to,
Starting point is 00:27:50 I should have told Marcus about this in Rambl and Cot actually briefly went to King Totswawa Hut Oh nice The venue which was Indie Club
Starting point is 00:28:02 Very quiet No, it was just, it was, I don't know, it was like a Friday night, but it was just completely closed. Maybe they just didn't have a gig on or something, but it was just a absolutely empties. You had an amazing Friday then, because if I'm right and saying, you came into the office, you did a show with me, you hosted the game, then you went downstairs, pumped iron for about half an hour, legged it up to Glasgow, on stage at Oren Moore, King Tuck's Wawa Hut, presumably some kind of takeaway food in the way back. I just ate me Tonnics
Starting point is 00:28:32 Hotel Wafers at the airport hotel I did Why do you have to turn it? You can turn anything depressing I did fall up the stage when I got on to do my little five minutes You fell up? I fell up it and Lovely
Starting point is 00:28:46 And I was thinking that's lovely I am not going to die tonight because I'm staying in the holiday at Glasgow Airport and that's not going on my wiki Place of death Glasgow
Starting point is 00:29:00 A spiksy wank in a Glasgow hotel. At the airport. Ugh, goodness. But you finished the night by eating the free tonnex caramel wafer in the holiday in Glasgow airport. Yeah, I'd done a few drinks. I did wake up the next day going,
Starting point is 00:29:19 I mean, I felt like, remember that terrorist had got punched at Glasgow airport? I felt like him. I felt like him, partially on fire, punched in the face by a Glasgow region. Just, I just felt. Carpet bagger as well. Gone up there to get, to make some money
Starting point is 00:29:34 and head home again. Yeah, exactly. Just get out there. Terrible. Was it a nice time? Yeah, it was a nice time. Yeah, it was a Glasgow. Do you know what Glasgow is like?
Starting point is 00:29:42 They're fucking great. They're the best of us. Yeah, it's great. They're the best ones. Yeah, I always loved playing Glasgow. I would say that probably Glasgow, Newcastle and London would be the three places I liked.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Bangers. Absolutely bangers. Yeah. Every last one on them. Cardiff was fun. Carnif was fun. No beef of any. any other British cities.
Starting point is 00:30:01 It's a fine kingdom we've got ourselves here. Oslo? New York City. Say again? New York City? Yeah. Oh yeah. That's brilliant.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Yeah, that's brilliant. Yeah, that's brilliant. That's off the reservation, I suppose. All right, then. The problem is I can't enjoy the Brooklyn show we did because you always tell me off making an off-color joke. It's an off-color joke. Don't say what it was now.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Not in today's climate. Not in today's climate. It's not all we need. It's not what we need. Don't need that added to the crimes. We're fighting several headwinds as it is. All right, let's go out of it. This has been the Luton Pete Show for a Thursday.
Starting point is 00:30:34 We'll be back on Monday. If producer Bruno uploads it. It's not like, he always does, he always uploads it. He does. Say what you like about him, but he always uploads it. See, he's as good as AI chat bot, but he always uploads it. Right. We'll see you then.
