Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi everyone, Alex here, founder of Rusty Quill Limited. It's been a while since I've been on mic. Have you been? You look great. Did you do something with your hair? I absolutely love it. Well, since I've got you here anyway, I thought I might just, you know, take a moment and give you a short update on everything we've been cooking up at Rusty Towers over the last few months. Does that sound cool? Cool.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Firstly, the brand new full-blown gun-toting zombie-biting sequel to We're Alive has just launched on the original We're Alive feed, alongside zombiepodcast.com and rustyquill.com. We're Alive Descendants is produced by Weyland Productions, and we at Rusty Quill are absolutely chuffed to have been able to help resurrect it as executive producers. If you've never listened to it before, but like what we do, I seriously recommend you check it out. We're Alive has had a massive influence on podcast fiction over the years, and it genuinely set the bar for independent audio production.
Starting point is 00:00:50 What's more, there will never be a better time to jump on board as a new listener. And as for all you existing fans, welcome back. A bit closer to home, Chapter and Multiverse, our new actual play podcast, is set to launch later this month. It features cast from RustyCore Gaming alongside a whole bunch of new and talented folk, all exploring the multiversal city of Chapter in a series of adventures across time, space, genre and system. This is a must for all you Rusty Quill Gaming fans who've found a lolong-shaped hole in your life, but even if you're a complete novice who thinks RPG stands for Robotic Parrot Gondolier, I'm pretty sure
Starting point is 00:01:22 you'll enjoy the characters, cavalcades and calamities we have in store. After that, we have our two new historical audio dramas, Trice Forgotten and Cry Havoc and Ask Questions Later, both of which launch later this year. Trice Forgotten is a swashbuckling pirate adventure of monarchy, anarchy and everyone in between, following the adventures of Captain Elestes and her crew of queer 19th century scientists of colour as they face off against the British Empire. It's the soggy anti-colcolonial, found-family historical epic you always wished you had. Meanwhile, Cry Havoc and Ask Questions Later is a dramatic comedy about power, politics, romance and deadly disaster in ancient Rome, with some help from Cleopatra, Queen of the Nile. It's big, it's ballsy and it's full of togas. What's not to love? On top of that, we've got even more top-end shows joining the
Starting point is 00:02:02 RQ network very soon, so better make sure you're up to date with Cryptids, The Deck of Tapes, How It Ends, I Am In Askew, Old Gods of Appalachia, The Milkmen of St Gaffs, The Silk Verses, The Storage Papers, and The Town Whispers, because there's more on the way. Now, if that sounds like a lot, it's because it is, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. We've got even more stuff in the pipeline that we can't even talk about yet, but we will keep you updated as and when we can. That's all for now, though, apart from saying thanks to everyone for your continued support. There's no way we could be doing any of this without your help, and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Thanks for listening, and we hope you enjoy what's coming.
