Who's that really?
30 minutes of major market radio.
We present to you the one, the only.
Dr. Roto will take your questions and your comments about your teams in the second segment of the show.
713-212-5-790.
Dr. Roto, tell me you were watching the Giants Denver game,
and you were talking about Bo Nix or thinking about how bad a Bo Nix game was
until he put together the 33.4th quarter,
and his fantasy numbers skyrocketed literally in 50 minutes of
play. It's so crazy because I remember telling everybody how much I liked Bo Nix last week,
right? I was like, oh, Bo Nix, there's going to be a great game. And then all of a sudden,
you look like you have no idea what you're talking about. And then the Giants defense, what is up with
that? Shane Bowen, how did a guy keep a job? I mean, 26 to 8 in the fourth quarter, late in the
fourth quarter, you got to close that game out. So, I mean, you can cut the kicker all you want.
It's not just the kicker's fault. This week, though, we're going back to Denver, going to playing
the Cowboys who decided to change up from a zone defense to man coverage because they weren't
doing well in the zone.
Don't want to, they don't do well in man either.
You know who does do well in man coverage?
Bo Nix, Cortland Sutton, Troy Franklin, load up on your Broncos again.
Loading up on Broncos, things we never thought we'd say in 2025.
If you got a question for the good doctor, we'll start taking those coming up in a matter of moments
at 713-212-5-790.
7-13-212-5-790.
All right.
What do we want to start this week?
Boy, oh, boy, oh, boy.
The Patriots, we kept waiting for Drake May to have an off week.
It was very good, not spectacular.
Can he get those numbers back up against Browns this weekend in New England?
Yeah, MT, I know you have him.
So, look, what we love about this game is that the Browns very hard to run against.
So last week we knew, right, we knew Ramondra Stevenson is going to run the football.
We knew that that's how you beat the Titans.
How do you beat the Browns?
you throw it.
So Browns play a lot of man coverage.
Who do we like?
We like Stefan Diggs.
We like Kishan Boutte.
We like Drake May.
I think Drake May throws at least two touchdowns this week,
maybe even a third.
I mean, not going to be the highest scoring game.
I think this game finishes like maybe 2420 or something like that,
but the 24 points, it's probably going to come through the air
because it's really hard to run on Cleveland.
Are we back in all in on the Eagles after their win against Minnesota last Sunday?
I think we've got to be very careful.
AJ Brown has not practiced this week.
There's a good shot he's out.
If he's out, Devonta Smith is a lock button.
I mean, I also think, look, the last time these two teams played,
Barclay did nothing.
I don't think that happens a second time to you.
So I think they lean on the running game.
I think they lean on Devontas Smith.
As of right now, AJ Brown, very questionable.
Hertz is, of course, in play.
I mean, you're going to get a tush push,
most likely at some point during the game.
But, I mean, he's not going to have the game he had last week where they just threw it all game.
Do you get as mad as I do watching the tush push?
First of all, I think there's an illegal formation or a shift almost every single time it happens.
And now I just get angry about it.
I don't have a dog in the fight because I just don't go against many eagles and don't have eagles on my team.
But it's just irritating part of the game for me, honestly.
No, I'm with you.
And I think, look, make a decision.
Either say it's good for every team or just outlawed.
I think it's just easier if they outlaw.
It just feels like a play that someone's going to get really injured on.
Does Aaron Rogers go against his old team this week?
can have success.
Yeah. I mean, look, you don't think Rogers is circling this game on his calendar.
Of course he is. You know, this is one of those games that you live for.
The Packers defense has been not as good as people think it is, right? Oh, the Packers'
defense, it's been great. Have they really gotten a pass rush? No, I think this is going to be
a higher scoring game than people are anticipating. Steelers' defense has also led up a lot of points
as well. I think Jordan Love has a good game. I think Aaron Rogers has a good game. I think
we're going to play Metcalf, we're going to play Josh Jacobs.
You know, look, you better have a big league going into Sunday night because a lot of guys can be scoring in that game.
Romeo Dobbs, Tucker Kraft, you know, load up on this one.
All right.
Buccaneers, an off week last week in Detroit.
I don't know if it's off because it was a Monday night game on the road.
But tell me, what a difference going from a legitimate NFC title contender to a Saints team that's one and six.
If you've got Buccaneers, you're loading up, correct, this week?
Well, you are loading up.
But I think there were some bad calls there from the refs.
I mean, reviewing these K.Doughton play twice.
Have you ever seen that in the NFL before?
Not really.
Baker was really annoyed all game long, and I don't blame him.
So look, losing Mike Evans is terrible.
K.D. Otten has become a player that people are going to want.
Tess Johnson is a player that people are going to want.
And Buka is a tremendous play.
Rashad White is a play.
The Saints are not a great team, but they play quickly.
So the pace is high.
This is a game where I think.
you want to load up on your Buccaneers.
Baker has a good week.
Rashad White, like I said, Kate Ott, and I love him, and Bucca and
Tess Johnson on the other side.
You can't run on Tampa.
So what are you going to do?
Spencer Rattler's likely going to throw it.
Maybe Rattler has a better day than we think he is.
Chris Alaveh, Rashid, Shaheed, all names you want in what could be a track meet.
Is it time to give up on the skill players for the Baltimore Ravens,
especially because Lamar has practiced so little this week?
No, I am all in on the Ravens this week.
I could not be more in on the Ravens than I am this week.
I think Lamar is going to come back and have a really good week.
He's practiced in a limited capacity.
I think there's no need to push it.
I think he'll be fine.
I think Derek Henry is going to score.
I think Zay Flowers is going to have a really good week.
On the other side, keep a watchful eye on Cole Commet's injury.
If Cole Commet is out, Colston Loveland, the rookie out of University of Michigan, he will be in
Ravens do not stop the tight end very well.
This could be it's national tight ends week.
Could be a Colston Lovin score touchdown week.
All right.
What a terrific segue into the Texans.
Dalton Schultz was the main go-to threat.
I would assume that Robert Sala is going to game plan to make sure that he is not a part of the game.
With that being said, if he is the go-to guy and has been for much of the season with Nico Collins,
probably not going to play this week, is Schultz a heavy play?
Tell me about the Texans' offense.
We're really worried about how they're going to.
even going to score any points so we can get to the Niners?
As well, you should.
I mean, it's not like, it's not like Schultz is a picture of health either.
So if Nico is probably not playing, I don't think Christian Kirk plays.
I'll tell you the guy who is super sneaky for the Texans, Jalen Knoll, because the one thing
the 49ers don't really do well, they don't cover slot receivers well.
So I think Noel could be sneaky.
I mean, Dalton Schultz, obviously with C.J. Stroud's number one guy, you need Nick Chubb to do
something. Nick Chubb, we knew was going to, bad matchup for him last week, right? Seattle, very good against
the run. I think that Nick Chubb has to be able to get those, you know, on first down. Let's make it second and
five. Let's make it, you know, second and six. You've got to get four or five yards on first down,
or you're in big trouble. On the other side of the football here this week, I expect Matt Jones to
play again. I expect Ricky Pearsall back. I think George Kittles probably going to score a touchdown this
week. I mean, he did nothing last week. I don't think that happens two weeks in a roll.
So the Texans is a tough little stretch here for them. I think they're in trouble.
All right. Time now for the sports RV weekly roto question of the week.
I don't know how much I have. I'm just curious your thoughts on some of the backfield splits.
You mentioned Woody Marks and Nick Chubb. How viable you think either of those are.
Are you sticking with guys like Rico Dowdell and some others who have been splitting carries, Isaiah
Pacheco? Just some of these backfills.
are kind of muddied.
Yeah, so what happens is that you really need to look at each week and the matchup.
So I was all in on Woody Marks last week.
Why?
Seattle lets up the most receptions to opposing running backs.
Now, the crazy thing was they should have used marks more out of the backfield.
They gave the ball to Schultz more than Marks.
But what we did know was that Nick Chubb was going to do nothing, right?
So that each week when you go into a game, you've got to say, how is this team going to play?
So against Buffalo, how do you beat Buffalo?
you run the football.
Rico Dattle's going to get at least 15 carries.
Chuba Hubbard's going to get at least 10 to 12.
I mean, they're going to try to ram the football down the bill's throats because you really don't want to throw on the bills.
So that's one.
I don't love Pacheco.
Keep your eyes on Breschad Smith.
They're trying to get him more snaps.
He's a very exciting young player against Washington.
The Chiefs are going to have their way against Washington and Mario Dio.
So this is one of those games where don't be shocked to see Breschad Smith's first NFL touchdown.
