Jim, it's nice to have you on the show. How are you enjoying South Beach and Florida? Let me interrupt you right there as I get my phone books to sit on in my chair to get ready for this segment. Who am I talking to? This is Matt Thomas. I do a radio show 12 to 3 on Sports Talk 790 in Houston. Never heard of you. I've heard of H-Town, but I've never heard of you.

Are you a member of Barrett Sports Media's top 20 major market local sports radio midday shows of 2019 or 2020? I have never been nominated and I have never made the list. That's a sore subject. You know, Jim, I've been on the air for, give or take 25 years. I've had the same radio show for 10 plus years. We have a lot of corporate sponsors. We've had reading success, but I never make Barrett's top 20 list. It's unfortunate for you.

It is very fortunate for other better radio hosts. That really digs deep. In matter of fact, there was a lot. a long time that, well, I mean, I still to this day, I beat you in Houston. Used to be on another station, but then they put you on a daytime station, but that's on here nor there. How's your trip so far? It's great.

Just got in last night with the XR 4TI crew. We are in a very swank hotel right on South Beach. Got up this morning, got a massage, had a little Bombay Sapphire, and went about starting my day. My set is phenomenal. Easily the biggest set here inside Radio Row takes up about an eighth of the entire room. What do they say about guys with big sets? 1-800-636-86-86.

What's his name again? Mitch? I think it's Matt. Mitch Thomas needs to have more TV-worthy guests, like me. Well, maybe that's the reason why I don't make top 20 of any national radio sports list. My guess list sucks. Well, maybe you should aspire to do something like that more. Maybe you should be a better talk show host.

Okay, all right. I should have run through the list. Everybody. What big guest are you getting, this show's not getting? Excuse me? What big guest are you getting that I'm not? Well, I've got to see who's booking for tomorrow because we're just getting into it. You know, it's only day one here.

We didn't go to the row, which is what I call it, the first two days because we're too good, frankly, for you and anybody else. But now that we're here, Wednesday is over. It's in the books.
