Starting point is 00:00:00 Today, the Matt Wall Show, Trump delivers an excellent state of the union address. Even better for him politically, though, Democrats utterly embarrassing themselves the entire way through. We'll talk about that. And also, you know, they proved again that they are anti-American sovereignty and they are pro-crime. And we're going to explore just how pro-crime they are. It's actually way worse than you think. Also, AOC and Mom Donnie team up to advertise tax-funded daycare to illegal immigrants. Talk about all that and more today on The Matt Wall Show.
Starting point is 00:00:32 It was hard to watch the state of the union address without reacting, as Donald Trump did, with exasperation and utter contempt for what the Democrat Party now represents. This isn't really a political party anymore. It's something a lot more sinister than that. Last night, through their reactions to Trump's remarks, Democrats endorsed the idea that children should be sterilized and castrated without their parents' knowledge in the name of gender ideology. and the most remarkable moment of any state of the union address in memory, Democrats refuse to stand for the proposition that the role of the U.S. government is to protect American citizens over the interests of foreigners, especially illegal aliens who have no right to be in this country.
Starting point is 00:01:36 Watch. You agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. So, of course, all the Democrats are seated because they don't agree that the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, even though that's the only reason the American government exists. Now, in saner times, this would be an enormous scandal, and every single one of those Democrats, the ones refusing to stand, would be run out of office and forced to resign in disgrace. And this theme carried on, as expected through the night, as the speech continued, Democrats also refused. to stand when Trump called on Congress to prevent violent, habitual criminals from going free
Starting point is 00:02:58 and slaughtering American citizens like what happened to Irina Zarutka, who was murdered on the light rail in Charlotte last year. Let's watch that. Mrs. Zaretska tonight, I promise you we will ensure justice for your magnificent daughter, Irene. How do you not stand? How do you not stand? I'm asking this Congress to pass tough legislation to ensure that violent and dangerous, repeat offenders are put behind bars, and importantly that they stay there. So they can't even muster standing for that, which you would think is not even, that's an easy one.
Starting point is 00:04:01 That's an easy one. I mean, at least with the illegal aliens, that's one of the brilliant, it was a brilliant gambit by Trump there to specifically say, stand if you agree with this, because he knows that, of course, Democrats can't stand for that. They can't stand because if they do, if they stand and say, yeah, I agree that American citizens should come first, well, then we can say, well, okay, great, that we agree. So here's a bunch of policies and laws that you should agree with. And by the way, why are you out there protesting ICE? So they can't stand for it because their ideology is so insane that it doesn't allow them to. But you would think, if you didn't know any better, that just standing for the mother of a woman who was murdered would be really easy. There's no. you would think political implications to that. But there are for the Democrats because they are pro-crime. And they're especially pro-crime when the criminal is black and the victim is white. Now, in this case, an incompetent black female judge let Irina's killer go free without bail,
Starting point is 00:05:05 even though he had a long and violent criminal history. That judge and Democrat policies are the reason that an animal was able to slice Arina's neck on. the train, leaving her to bleed out as he said, I got that white girl and walked off the train. It was all on camera. Everyone saw the horror on Arina's face as it happened and the disinterest of the nearby passengers. For any sane person, it's one of the most radicalizing events of the decade. The Democrats simply don't care. Even when Irina's family is in the chamber, it just doesn't matter to them. They weren't moved to stand by the tears of Arina's grieving mother. It just doesn't, they don't care.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Irene is white. She was killed by a black felon with a rap sheet longer than a CVS receipt. They stand with the black felons, not their victims. It really is as simple as that. Now, we'll talk in more depth about the State of the Union address in a little bit, but I want to spend a little time here focusing on this particular point because most people have no idea how pervasive this problem is. Irene's case, as horrific as it was, is not unusual. It's happening all over the country.
Starting point is 00:06:17 And if Democrats ever return to power, it's going to happen much more often. This is one of the planks. This is one of their party planks, is to make sure that this happens even more. If you want to understand why Democrats wouldn't stand and applaud the idea of keeping criminals in prison rather than allowing them to roam free, you have to understand that letting criminals roam free is a central part of their platform. form, as I will demonstrate. Now, you probably remember the case we discussed a few weeks ago when a black female judge slashed a black criminal sentence in half, even though he was an unrepent rapist. And he told the judge that in the courtroom that he's not sorry for what he did and he doesn't care about his victim or her family. He'll do it again if he's let out. And we don't know the race of the victim, which might have influenced the judge's decision, especially the victim was white. But we do know that the race of the rapist did matter because the judge said so.
Starting point is 00:07:14 She explicitly cited race as one of the reasons for making her insane decisions. Watch. But Judge Davis thought the jury's recommendation was too long. She feels he hasn't mentally matured yet and never had a real shot at getting any help early in life. But if you were to come in here and instead of being hurt and angry, which is what this court hears, right? As a 20-year-old African-American male that has been, you know, experienced this society, et cetera, and you would show that, yes, okay, this is the situation, this is who I am. I don't want to be this person anymore. I don't want to be in jail for forever.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Thompson repeatedly stated he did not care, not about his sentence, the victim, or her family. But Judge Davis emphasized she's the one that holds the pen. This kind of case is not an aberration. I mean, it is happening constantly. And to really grasp what's happening, we need to go through some recent examples in detail. Just so you can understand, this is an epidemic. It's not a one off thing. So here's one of the more egregious ones.
Starting point is 00:08:27 In 2022, a black 15-year-old named Tavari Pearson was attending the Spring Mountain Youth Camp. in Las Vegas, which is a rehab facility for juvenile offenders. And while he was out for a walk with a camp psychologist, which was intended to teach Pearson coping skills, Pearson beat the therapist's head with a rock, sexually assaulted her, and strangled her until she lost consciousness. Pearson's case was heard by a black female judge who disregarded prosecutor's request for a 20-year prison sentence, which even that would be lenient. This is attempted murder and rape. Instead, the judge, whose name is Erica Ballou, sentenced Pearson to a sentence of probation and time served. So for raping and nearly murdering, trying to murder a woman, he suffered no actual consequences.
Starting point is 00:09:21 The judge unleashed him back into civilization. And you'll never guess what happened next. Tavari Pearson was just 15 years old when we first reported on him in May of 2022. He'd complained to his therapist about getting kicked off his high school track team. She suggested they go for a walk outside and during that walk, Pearson attacked her. He pleaded guilty in criminal court and was recently found liable in civil court, but her attorney says the judgment the victim recently won is largely symbolic. There are no victories in this case.
Starting point is 00:09:58 because my client's going to live with this for the rest of her life. And frankly, Mr. Pearson potentially is going to live with this for the rest of his life. There are no victories. Court records describe Pearson's attack on his therapist during their outdoor counseling session at Spring Mountain Youth Camp, a county-run facility for juvenile offenders. Records show he pushed her to the ground, pinned her hands, punched her repeatedly, hit her with a rock, strangled her, pushed her into a rock, pushed her into a ravine and sexually assaulted her.
Starting point is 00:10:30 In the criminal case, Pearson took a plea deal, allowing him to be found guilty of just two of the six charges he was facing. Judge Erica Ballou sentenced him to six months behind bars, followed by five years of probation. He was immediately released from prison with credit for the two and a half years he had already served. Just months after his release on probation,
Starting point is 00:10:53 he was indicted for a string of car thefts and burglaries. And this time, sadly, it appears as though, again, I haven't seen the evidence. I've just seen the criminal indictment that guns were involved. And to me and to my client, that's the scary part. Though the new indictment is only eight counts, court records show Pearson allegedly committed 21 separate crimes between September and November of 2025. Yeah, well, of course you did. Of course, he committed 20. You let someone like this out of jail. It's not a question of, well, will he offend again?
Starting point is 00:11:33 Will he commit more crimes? No, he will. Guaranteed. In fact, he'll probably commit crimes the very day you release him. So this should obviously be a case, again, in a sane society, which clearly is not the society we live in. But obviously, in a case like this, you have someone who does that. The sane thing to do is to convict them. and then that day take them out back and shoot them.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Death by firing squad, just be done with it. We can all move on and pretend that this scumbag never existed. Although for the victim, that still is not possible because they have to live with it for the rest of their lives, as her attorney points out. So a wild animal who should have been thrown in prison for the rest of his life at a minimum is allowed to go free,
Starting point is 00:12:28 and almost immediately in a matter of months, he committed nearly two dozen additional crimes, including car theft and burglary, apparently armed in some of these cases. This was the predictable result of the decision by Erica Ballou, a judge who, as you can see here, enjoys wearing her Black Lives Matter pin, and as a general matter,
Starting point is 00:12:51 she also enjoys handing out extremely lenient sentences to black defendants. In fact, at the moment, Judge Ballou is, serving a six-month suspension from the bench because she repeatedly defy the state appellate courts and kept trying to free a black woman named Mia Christman. And there was never any reason for letting her out of prison. Mia Christman committed a home invasion and participated a high-speed chase that severely injured an innocent victim. But Judge Ballou decided to let Crisman go free, supposedly because she had a compelling sob story or something. And then when the Nevada Supreme
Starting point is 00:13:25 court overruled the judge and ordered her to send Christman to prison, Judge Ballou simply ignore the Supreme Court. On at least two occasions, she defied their orders. That's how, that's how devoted she is to making sure that as many black criminals are out on the street as possible. Watch. Today, I'm a survivor. Maya Christman is now 30 years old. At the age of 18, she committed an armed robbery. She was part of a violent home invasion. One man pistol whipped, another victim, an elderly woman, and she drove a car in a high-speed police chase, which left another driver severely injured. While Christman became a free woman, prosecutors argued to the Nevada Supreme Court, which decided Judge Ballou needs to send Chrisman back to prison
Starting point is 00:14:11 to finish her sentence, an order Ballou didn't immediately follow. What do you think of Judge Ballou's actions throughout this case? I believe that she defied the Supreme Court order, twice. How rare is that for a judge to defy the Nevada Supreme Court's orders? It's extremely rare. In the meantime, Christman had relocated to California. She says she was learning to become a barber and found housing. She also had a baby. Now, if you have any concern whatsoever for the rule of law in the U.S., and you should, because Western civilization won't last long without it, this is the kind of case that you should be following very closely. And it's important to realize that there are many, many more cases like it.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Judge Blue is just one example of a much larger pattern, often involving mostly female judges, including many black female judges, who in many cases tend to be the worst offenders here. That's just the reality, who have clearly decided to discard the rule of law and render decisions based on suicidal empathy and or racial and ethnic solidarity.
Starting point is 00:15:25 For example, did you know that Carmelo Anthony, the black teenager who stabbed an unarmed white student to death at a track meet, had his bond reduced by 75%. That's how he got out of jail. His bond went from a million dollars to just $250,000 for the alleged crime of first-degree murder. And here's the judge who made that decision. You can already kind of guess what you're going to see there. As it happened, the judge's name is Angela Tucker. And she's a black woman. And if you look up her official biography, you'll discover that her gender and skin color are her primary qualifications. It's all she talks about.
Starting point is 00:16:00 So once again, this is not about, oh, you're making it about race. No, that's, she does. She makes it about race. Quote, in Collins County's 170-year history, she was the first judge of color. Early in her tenure, Judge Tucker remembers attending a conference and calling one of the other female judges of Collin County to say, I'm here with a sea of white hair. It's a room of 600 judges. Where are the women? This was the central question that the Biden administration asked in their four years in power. They didn't want judges who were competent or fair. Instead, they flooded the federal bench with black women, most of whom had no idea what they were doing. Contagy Brown-Jackson is the most visible of these appointees. But there were many more. As this chart demonstrates, and you can see it right there, the Biden administration went out of its way to appoint as many non-white female judges as possible. The numbers were extremely disproportionate,
Starting point is 00:16:53 as the researcher Jonathan Pallison found, non-white lawyers account for less than 20% of the total number of lawyers in the country, but they accounted for roughly 70% of Biden's judicial appointees. That's staggering. And meanwhile, women make up only around 40% of lawyers in U.S., but again, women accounted for approximately 70% of Biden's judicial appointees. One of Biden's judicial appointees was a D.C. Judge Kendra Briggs, and she's the judge who handled the case of the Doge staffer known as Big Balls. As you probably remember, a mob of black teenagers attacked Big Balls and brutally beat him on. on the streets of the nation's capital when he tried to defend a woman that they were accosting.
Starting point is 00:17:43 But then Judge Kendra Briggs didn't seem bothered by the attack. She sentenced the criminals to simple probation and explained that her job is to rehabilitate the mob. Here's another case along those lines that no one ever talks about. In 2021, a black man in his 20s named Shaquille Taylor opened fire at a vehicle, which was occupied by a female driver and her two children. and several rounds hit the car. Obviously, this should have resulted in a conviction for attempted murder, and Shaquille Taylor should have been sent to prison for 25 to life at a minimum. But that's not what happened, because a judge named Angelida Blackshear Dalton,
Starting point is 00:18:23 well, she was on the case, sadly enough. And Judge Dalton, who happens to be a black female, determined that Shaquille Taylor should be released immediately without serving any time in prison. According to the judge and the DA who didn't want to prosecute the case either, Shaquille had developed pneumonia at birth, which led to a brain infection. And this brain infection, in turn, supposedly prevented Shaquille from developing, you know, intellectually, mentally beyond a kindergarten level. So, according to the judge, Shaquille was simply too stupid to go to prison.
Starting point is 00:18:57 And he wasn't insane, so he didn't have to go to asylum either. So she just cut him loose. even though you would think that, well, if that's true, if he's so dumb that he doesn't know you're not supposed to shoot at moving cars, then that'd be all the more reason to put him in prison forever. But no, they said, no, this guy's so dumb, he's so stupid that he might kill you without even knowing he's not supposed to. And so here you go, society, we're going to give him back to you, hot potato. Well, two years later, Taylor, again, open fire. at a moving vehicle. And in the process, he apparently missed his target and fatally hit an 18-year-old
Starting point is 00:19:38 Belmont University student named Jillian Ludwig, who was walking on a track in a local park. And, of course, after all, this, Shaquille's family doesn't blame him at all. Who do they blame? They blame the system. Watch. That's right, Lauren, we went to an address listed for Shaquille Taylor's family today. His grandmother told me that she is extremely upset and feels like the system failed her grandson. And the district attorney's office has come out and said that the system is flawed. Since the Supreme Court forbids district attorneys from prosecuting people who are determined not to be fit to understand the trial process or the crimes they've committed, their charges
Starting point is 00:20:17 are dismissed. They're then released back out onto the streets, often reoffending. And that's what happened with Taylor. He was charged with aggravated assault back in April, then was released in May, and charges dropped since he was found incompetent. Police say he then went on to to shoot and kill Jillian Ludwig just seven months later. He's now charged in her death. We took a look at the rest of his criminal history and found two cases in which he was charged with assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Starting point is 00:20:46 And in those cases, he was able to plead guilty to lesser charges. So we're now looking into how Taylor was able to plead guilty several times in the past, but later deemed mentally incompetent. There's a conundrum for you. The guy commits a series of crimes, pleads guilty, And everybody agrees he belongs in prison. And then a judge suddenly decides he's not mentally competent all of a sudden based on a childhood illness.
Starting point is 00:21:13 It's almost as if we need to drop the entire idea of mental competence and criminal trials. If you're a threat to the public, then whether you're crazy or not, you belong in prison, period. That would simplify the system considerably. It would remove discretion from judges who obviously don't deserve it and can't handle it. and shouldn't be allowed to exercise it, and it would also save lives. But the more you look, the more stories like this you'll find. Consider the case of a black man named Donnie Allen, who you can see on your screen. From 2019 to 2024, Allen had been arrested for two counts of attempted burglary,
Starting point is 00:21:51 assaulting a peace officer, drug possession, damage to property, and four counts of burglary. This is in Cleveland, Ohio. So that's a long rap sheet. He had at least 10 separate arrests in that period of time. On December 4th last year, he was arrested in charge with drug possession, vandalism, possessing criminal tools, and breaking and entering. But despite his criminal history, a black female judge named Joy Kennedy lowered his bail from $15,000 to only $5,000, meaning that a left-wing bail fund called the Bail Project
Starting point is 00:22:24 only had him had to pay $500 to spring him loose. and the bail project paid the money, even though Allen's family begged them not to. This is from Fox, quote, two family members who asked to remain anonymous told Fox News Digital that the bail project contacted them on December 8th and December 9th. The family member said that they warned
Starting point is 00:22:44 that Alan should not be released because he would continue to reoffend and needs professional help or to remain incarcerated. Fox News Digital obtained a voicemail left for one family member in which a representative for the bail project said she met with Alan and wanted to discuss the organization posting his bail. No, this is not a good idea.
Starting point is 00:23:01 You guys should just leave him where he is because he's been in and out and in and out of jail multiple times. He needs rehabilitation, not release. A family member told the bail project, and they just dismissed it. While the judge dismissed these warnings, too, and sure enough, with his newfound freedom
Starting point is 00:23:17 just five days after getting out of jail, Alan allegedly murdered a 27-year-old man named Benjamin McComis at a Cleveland light rail station around 7.30 p.m. He's also accused of committing a series of other crimes, including robbery. And once again, everybody saw this coming. And once again, thanks to a black female judge, the black criminal, was unleashed on the public.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Now, there's obvious racial components to these rulings. And as I've outlined, you know, often the judges will openly admit that. I mean, this is a thing that's actually happening and we just need to talk about it. black judges letting black criminals go free because they're black. This is a thing. This is a problem in society. Got to talk about it. It doesn't matter if it makes you uncomfortable or not. But it's also important to understand that suicidal female empathy from left-wing women, regardless of race, poses a major problem in general.
Starting point is 00:24:13 And that's why a criminal named Christian Moniz Rabino just received a sentence of probation for allegedly killing a 17-month-old child who was the son of, his girlfriend. Rubino entered a plea that acknowledged prosecutors may have enough evidence to convict him, although he didn't admit guilt, but prosecutors were supposedly worried that they didn't have enough proof beyond a reasonable doubt, so they proposed a plea deal that let Rubino out of prison on probation after killing a 17-month-old baby. And the judge accepted the plea. Watch. A Las Vegas man who beat a one-year-old to death has received no jail time.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Christian Moniz Rabino was sentenced to probation for the death of 17-month-old Kai Tesoro, who suffered fatal injuries while in his care. Prosecutors said Kai was rushed to hospital in June after being found unresponsive. Doctors reported severe head trauma, bruising, and broken bones. They said the injuries were consistent with abuse, not an accident. Rabino initially told investigators the child had fallen. The injuries could not be caused by a simple fall. Kai was placed on life support and died days later.
Starting point is 00:25:31 Rabino was originally charged with murder and child abuse, charges that could have sent him to prison for decades, but prosecutors later agreed to a manslaughter plea deal. They cited major risks at trial, including inconsistent witness statements and a lack of direct eyewitnesses. At sentencing, the judge acknowledged the seriousness of the case and said she did not like the outcome, but approve the agreement. Urbino was sentenced to probation, a curfew, and anger management classes.
Starting point is 00:25:59 So he didn't just kill a child. He also lied about it to cover his tracks. And this is the part where the judge should have rejected the plea deal. Prosecutors, especially leftist prosecutors, will always try to let killers out of prison, particularly if they're not white. But judges don't have to accept the plea deals that those prosecutors propose. They can push prosecutors to hold a trial so that no other children. children are murdered. And when you're talking about the killing of a 17-month-old child, probation
Starting point is 00:26:25 obviously just isn't good enough. That cannot be an acceptable outcome. But the judge, a white woman named Jacqueline Bluth, apparently disagreed. The judge said she wasn't happy about the plea deal, but she wasn't willing to do anything about it. So at the moment, a guy who essentially admitted to killing a child, a baby, is going to walk free. Then there's a case of Jacoby Tillman. Watch. Sir, I want you to listen up. You've got an atrocious record.
Starting point is 00:26:59 These charges are violent in nature. Despite his criminal history, Jacobi Tillman was granted a $9,500 bond and released from jail this weekend. He's accused of trying to rape a woman on the Little Econ Greenway Trail this summer. The Orange County Sheriff's Office released this surveillance video
Starting point is 00:27:16 shortly after the attack in July. Tillman was just arrested this month on charges of attempted sexual battery, strangulation, and false imprisonment. What bothers the court in setting bond in this case is that, you know, he's got some violent offenses in a violent history, and these are violent offenses. But nonetheless, I think that the bonds is set. We've been looking into Tillman's record, too, and found out he was also arrested after grabbing a woman in the same area three years ago. So a black man with a violent history, one that includes sexually assaulting a woman who was out jogging, is once again accused of attempting to rape a girl in a park. He's on the run for more than two months. And then when he's finally caught, the judge sets his bail at $9,500.
Starting point is 00:28:10 That's it. The ruling was courtesy of this white female judge won Elaine Barber of the Ninth Circuit in Florida. And in this case, the bail was revoked because the man went on to mock as accuser on social media. But otherwise, he'd be free to go out and assault more women, which, of course, he would definitely do. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, as Gary Tan reports, there's the troubling case of a Honduran man named Evan Perez Villanueva. And he was, quote, caught with a loaded 380 cobra semi-automatic pistol in a mission district tent encampment. He was charged with several felonies, but a judge dropped those felonies as long as the man agreed to, quote, complete a gun safety course, possess no weapons or ammunition, write a reflective essay on what he learned, and obey all laws.
Starting point is 00:29:01 So he had to write a book report, essentially. Just 36 days later, prosecutors say Evan Perez, Villanueva armed himself with a shotgun and killed a man on the streets of San Francisco. And here's the judge who made that murder possible. There's the shot there. It's the woman on the left in case there was any doubt. Judge Gail, the crayon, is unsurprisingly a left-wing white woman. So you're probably noticing a pattern at this point. Many female judges are making this country much more dangerous.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Female left-wing judges are a scourge on the country. The Brookings Institution looked into this phenomenon, and they found that, quote, as the percentage of black judges in a courthouse increases, white judges are less likely to render incarceration sentences in cases with black defendants. For white judges, as they interact with a more diverse group of colleagues, they may become more aware of the salience of race in sentencing than update their beliefs about racial disparities in sentencing or face pressure not to appear discriminatory.
Starting point is 00:30:09 That's very interesting. There are plenty of possible variables here. but this seems like a reasonable explanation, one of them. White left-wing women are afraid, more than anything else in the world, deeply terrified of being accused of racism. It's the worst thing you could ever accuse them of. As the courts become flooded with black women who don't like sentencing black defendants to any prison time at all, the white left-wing women follow suit, both because of their
Starting point is 00:30:39 suicidal deranged empathy and also because of their deep terror of being accused of racism. And to be clear, it's not just killers who are getting bailed out by these judges. Many of the judges who are releasing illegal aliens after they're detained by ICE are women. And that includes New Jersey District Judge Karen Williams, who released a 19-year-old illegal alien from custody after he was detained. she declared that it was blatantly illegal for ICE to detain someone who has no right to live in this country in the first place, simply because he has a work authorization and arrived when he was younger. And then there's Mount Vernon City Judge Nichelle Johnson, who you could see here.
Starting point is 00:31:25 A judicial panel found that she helped former Mount Vernon Mayor Clinton Young, who's also black, to, quote, skip out on a $750 judgment personally intervening to take the case herself. and then writing to a clerk that the judgment must be vacated. So she just decided to flagrantly violate the law to help a defendant out. And that defendant happens to be non-white. And along those lines, there's the infamous Judge Tracy Hunter who used her office to help her brother, who was in the process of getting fired from a juvenile detention center. Judge Hunter didn't take her conviction for judicial misconduct very well.
Starting point is 00:32:00 She went limp and had to be dragged out of the court. watch. Seconds after Judge Patrick Dinkalacher affirmed Tracy Hunter's jail sentence, his courtroom erupted in chaos. Three, you order to do six months in the Hamilton County Justice Center. Credit one day. Mr. and his deputy can take her way. A woman who seemed to run to Hunter's defense was quickly taken into custody. Meanwhile, Hunter fell limp in the arms of a deputy who ended up dragging the former Juvenile Court judge away from her outrage supporters.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Now we can go on for. another hour. I mean, hours and hours, really, going through case after case. This is happening so much. We're not talking about one or two rogue judges here. Suspending punishment for black criminals is now a central plank of the Democrat Party's platform, and judges, particularly female judges, are taking that mandate very seriously. That's why Democrats didn't stand last night when Trump condemned the judges who are springing violent criminals out of prison, resulting in the death of women like Irene Zerutska. That's the whole reason. Earlier this month, we talked about jury statistics which show that non-white jurors are statistically biased towards non-white defendants. It's the OJ
Starting point is 00:33:23 effect, except on a national scale. Well, the same principle applies for judges. It's the reason why so many criminals have been allowed to murder American citizens. And as Donald Trump made clear last night during the State of Union, every single Democrat in Congress, without exception, either wants those murders to continue or doesn't care if they do. It's one of the most important responsibilities of conservatives in government to do whatever is necessary to remove these judges from the bench before Democrats get exactly what they want. More book reports for violent felons, more racial equity, and ultimately, more dead Americans. Now let's get to our five headlines. You find yourself avoiding working out because your knees hurt and the very idea of one squat
Starting point is 00:34:13 sounds like your personal hell. Do you find that your recovery time after a workout seems to be getting longer and longer. Don't let these issues be the thing keeping you from taking care of your health. There is a solution. My producer McKenna started using collagen peptides from our sponsor, Bubbs Naturals, to help with all these issues. And it's been a total game changer. If you don't know what collagen is, think of it as basically the glue that holds you together. And when your levels drop, you get stiff joints, slower recovery, thinning hair and dull skin. Bubbs helps you restore your collagen levels closer to what your body had when you were younger, so you feel and look better. It's clean with no sugar, sweeteners, or fillers. It's third-party

It's a great and easy addition to your day to support your body for a limited time. limit time only our listeners are getting 20% off at bubs naturales by using code walsh at checkout just head to b ubsnaturels.com and use code walsh and you're all set after you purchase they'll ask where you heard about them please support our show and tell them that we sent you okay so the state of the union address we've we've already talked about it but it was it was the actual address itself i thought was excellent i maintained my longstanding objection to the
Starting point is 00:35:38 State of the Union address conceptually. I don't think it should exist. But it does exist. And I think that Trump delivered probably the best one that I've heard in my lifetime. Bar's pretty low. But still, it's good speech. Clear, eloquent, inspirational, aspirational, especially the final minute or so of the speech I thought was particularly good. Let's listen to that. There is no challenge Americans cannot overcome, no frontier too vast for us to conquer, no dream too bold for us to chase, no horizon too distant for us to claim, for our destiny is written by the hand of Providence and these first 250 years were just the beginning, from the rugged border towns of Texas to the heartland villages of Michigan,
Starting point is 00:36:31 From the sun-kissures of Florida to the endless fields of the Dakotas and from the historic streets of Philadelphia to right here in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C., the golden age of America is upon us. The revolution that began in 1776 has not ended. It still continues because the flame of liberty and independence still burns in the heart of every American patriot. And our future will be bigger, better, brighter, bolder, and more glorious than ever before. Thank you. God bless you. And God bless America. Well, that's how a president should speak about America with pride in its past and its history, hope for the future. I mean, this is what you want to hear.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Problem for Democrats is that they can't speak that way about America. It's not, it's because they deeply hate the country. They really do. They don't want the country to exist. And that's why as good as Trump's speech was, he could have said nothing. He could have gotten up there and recited nursery rhymes. And it still would have been a political win because of the way the opposition comported themselves, the way that they were self-immolating as they were guaranteed to do. And it was exactly what you would expect. Worse in some ways. We've already seen how they sat on their hands. They didn't stand for the grieving mother of Arina Zarutka. We saw how they refused to stand. We saw how they refused to stand. and affirm the idea that the American government should be primarily concerned with protecting American citizens. And they humiliated themselves in many other ways, ways that you, they always come up with new ways, the ways you don't expect. So Representative Al Green showed up carrying a sign.
Starting point is 00:38:23 I think this was a second year carrying a sign and getting kicked out. It was the exact same thing last year. And here's the sign this time. Black people aren't apes is the sign. which I got to say that's maybe the least inspiring slogan I've ever seen on a sign.
Starting point is 00:38:43 I mean, you've got to sign. It's going to be seen by millions of people because you're holding it. It's a star for attention. You're holding it at the State of the Union Address, so lots of people are going to see it. And this is your chance to get across a simple message. And your message is black people aren't apes.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Not the most inspiring slogan. Or maybe it is because another way of looking at this is, I don't know, is this Al Green coming out against the theory of evolution? That would be bold for a Democrat in the modern Democrat Party to come out against the theory of evolution. Was this his attack on Darwinism? Is that what that was? Because, you know, according to the theory of evolution, black people are actually apes. So are white people, all humans are.
Starting point is 00:39:36 I mean, that's the theory, right? So is he saying that's not true? That would be interesting. Is he planting his flag on the creationist side of the debate? I mean, I don't think anyone saw that coming. Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib, two of the most, trying to put this in a way that's not so insulting, two of the most hideous and repulsive creatures to ever hold elected office. I mean, that's the most flattering way I could possibly put it. They were at the speech also and they were, I thought a lot of these people were going to boycott the speech, but apparently they showed up and they were screeching and screaming throughout the event. Watch. You should be ashamed of yourself, not standing up. You should be ashamed of yourself. That is why I'm also asking you to end deadly sanctuary cities that protect the criminals and enact serious penalties for public officials. who blocked the removal of criminal aliens. In many cases, drug lords, murderers all over our country.
Starting point is 00:40:43 They're blocking the removal of these people out of our country. And you should be ashamed of yourself. And perhaps most importantly, I'm asking. So every year we go through this with Democrats heckling and yelling, making total asses of themselves. And every year you can't help but think back to win a, Republican shouted one thing, you lie at Obama during a state of the union address, whenever that was during the Obama tenure. And it was a month-long scandal. I mean, those of us who are
Starting point is 00:41:48 old enough to remember, you could recall it very well. It was a huge scandal. Those were the good old days, I guess. And now Democrats have turned the event into a professional wrestling match. I mean, they just sit there and scream the whole time. Which is yet another reason by the way, why the state of the union address should just be abolished. There's a lot of reasons, but this is maybe the best one now. Because the whole point of the event, I mean, yeah, the president is communicating the state of the union, talking about what's happened, what the plan is for the future. But that could be conveyed many other ways. You could just put out a memo. You could send an email. He could just give an address without an audience. There's a lot of
Starting point is 00:42:32 different ways to do it now. The whole reason of doing it with the pageantry is supposed to be the pageantry. It's supposed to be the kind of, the symbolism. It's supposed to be the symbolic show of unity that you've got both sides all together. Everyone's in the same room. And everybody is cheering for most of what the president is talking about. That's the way it used to work. Yeah, you'd have a few instances where one side stands, the other side doesn't. But for the most part, It is a symbolic show of unity. That's what it's supposed to be. And those days are over.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Those days are just over. And so why are we still doing this? Yeah. As a conservative, there's part of me that says, well, it's all the more reason to keep doing it because Democrats are embarrassing themselves. So great, if they want to harm themselves politically, let's let them do it. But it's also embarrassing. I have to say, as an American, as an American citizen, and I see what's happening in Congress, it's humiliating, it's embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:43:43 And that's reason enough to just stop doing it. Most of us have no idea what phytonutrients actually are, but thankfully our sponsor, balance of nature understands the importance of phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are naturally occurring plant nutrients and whole foods that actually give fruits and vegetables their color, taste, and smell. If you're eating something with vibrant color and real flavor, well, it's a pretty good sign. You're getting genuine phytonutrients. Now, what balance of nature does is they take all that produce and they run it through a specialized vacuum-cold process that keeps everything stable and then powders it down.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Their whole health system is essentially a value bundle that combines their fruits and veggies with their fiber and spice supplements. So you're getting 47 different ingredients, fruits, vegetable, spices, and fibers along with all those. naturally occurring phytonutrients, and you're getting all of that every single day. I personally love the whole health system because of its convenience when I'm traveling for work or trying to keep up with my kids. It gives me a simple, no mess, no stress way to make sure I'm getting all the essential nutrients in my diet. So whether you've been on the fence for a long time or it's the first time you're hearing about them, I recommend that you go to bounce of nature.com in order the whole health system supplements as a preferred customer today.
Starting point is 00:44:57 The good news is that some of the craziest nut cases on that side did not attend the event because instead they held their own State of the Union speeches, competing events. Very similar to the episode of the office, you know, the Christmas party where there's competing Christmas parties. So kind of like that. Only this was funnier, actually, unintentionally. So let's check in on one of the competing Democrat events. No context here. Here's just a guy in a giraffe costume. talking about something.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Ice prison in Minneapolis. I've been arrested three times by ICE. Over absurdity. Over us being ourselves. Over me singing songs like, Hey, Mr. Tangerine, man. Get rid of brown people from me. I'm airy and white.
Starting point is 00:45:50 There ain't no place I'm going to. And then also, sudden he's not ready for primetime player ice agents with two weeks of training come after me i got arrested in portland i got arrested in minneapolis and the last three weeks twice but they can't erase a movement all right what i went through is one one thousandth of a lot of marginalized people and what they have to go through and those ice detention centers And I want to tell you something right now that's an announcement. Pumpkin spice.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, what about Pumpkin Spice? I cut it off. He finally got something interesting. Did he just say, as an announcement, I want to announce pumpkin spice. There was a, what announcement related to Pumpkin Spice did he was, did he feel the need to make? I don't know. We're never going to know.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Because we don't need to listen any more of that. That was, so yeah, that's the state of the swamp event is what they're calling it. Just imagine the smell in that room. Dear God. And they had an actual, as we saw, like an actual schizophrenic hobo in a giraffe costume. I guess they figured the Democrat Party, they are the party for schizophrenic hobos. Their whole platform is really centered around schizophrenic hobos. It's all about making everything better for schizophrenic hobos.
Starting point is 00:47:25 And so they decided, hey, let's have the real deal. on stage. Put them in a giraffe costume. Why is he in a giraffe costume? I have no idea. What does a giraffe have to do with the swamp? What's the symbolism there? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:47:38 I don't know. Maybe they have swan. I assume that in areas where there are giraffes, they also have swamps, maybe. But you don't associate giraffes and swamps. But that's to be expected. And by the way, this event with this kid's franticobo, that was not some random, spontaneous
Starting point is 00:47:58 gathering of vagrants. Robert De Niro headlined that event. So there was real money put into this. This funding. This thing was funded. And they decided to give that guy a speaking slot. Then over at the People's State of the Union, an entirely different competing state of the Union.
Starting point is 00:48:18 So they had a competing state of the Union and had a competing state of the Union to compete with the competing State of the Union. And over there, an entirely different schizophrenicobo, this one named, Joy Reed was addressing the crowd through song. grades, though. We just go on vibes, and the vibes were immaculate. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you very much. I don't know. I kind of blocked that out, honestly, while I was playing. I couldn't, I couldn't, I couldn't stomach it. So there's your alternative right there. The shrieking boomer women singing protest songs off key, the crazy guy in the draft costume, the Somali politician and married her brother screaming. That's the opposition. That's your opposition. That's your.
Starting point is 00:49:40 that's your other choice. And this is why I also want to say, this is the last thing I'll say on this topic is, is, it's why I have no patience for anyone who says that, you know, well, the left and right are the same thing, right? Two sides are the same coin. It's all the same, man. This is what they, they just do left and right. It's all a big charade to keep us divided, man. it's it's this is this is a no we're all on the same side right left and right that's not real i mean you hear this all the time you hear it from some conservative sometimes you hear it from podcasters that is uh and they always say it's so proud of themselves like it's some insight they just came up with like they're the first person that's to say it they feel so wise you know what
Starting point is 00:50:40 i'm just going to say it no one else is going to say this thing that a billion other people have already said, left and right are the same. It's all the same. Now, that is a midwits attempt at nuance. Okay, that is a stupid person attempting to sound like a smart person. That is a stupid person's attempt
Starting point is 00:50:59 at sounding like a free thinker, except you just sound like everybody else, which is the irony of it. It's not true. Left or right are not the same thing. There's an actual difference here. There's a real, it's not a small difference. it's not the difference of style
Starting point is 00:51:17 it's not a difference of tone and there are some differences there too but it is a substantive real difference and the gap between the left and right is vast and deep it is it is infinitely deep
Starting point is 00:51:33 because on the left just go back to where we started the entire Democrat Party would not even stand to even symbol agree with the idea that the American government's first priority is to American citizens. They don't even agree in theory with that idea. Okay, so that's the difference.
Starting point is 00:52:07 They actually, the whole ideology, the whole point is to dismantle, destroy Western civilization, and all of the institutions that Western civilization is based on. on and depends on. That is what they want to do. That is their objective. That is their agenda. And yes, I mean, I don't know about you, but that's, for me, that's very different from my political project. In fact, it's the opposite. Swap your snacks for ones that contain real ingredients with our sponsor, Massa. And you can enjoy clean eating without the massive diet. They've all been bought out by mega corporations and private equity firms who hijack these natural brands and fill them with the same corporate slop as everyone else. And with seven rewards, I'm just $4. Quiet, no, crispy, saucy, and $4, very, only at 711. Valley 3,6, 2326, participating stores only while supplies last the app for full terms. Let's see, one other thing, Mom Downey and AOC teamed up to put a message out to New Yorkers,
Starting point is 00:55:41 and let's go ahead and play that. Hello! My Spanish no is the best. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no one. If your or her child or her is complying 3 or 4 years in the 2026, you can register those gratis in the program Kinder 3 or Pre-Kinder
Starting point is 00:56:02 of the City of New York. But, it should be registrars the 27 of February, which is the Feature Limit. Any father of the family of the city of New York, without import their occupation,
Starting point is 00:56:16 or status migratory, is eligible for registrar to register to his children. Oh, sorry about that. You know, silly me, I assume that I could play a video of an American mayor and an American congresswoman, allegedly American, and that Americans will be able to understand it. That's how dumb I am. I thought, so sorry about that. I thought, well, you know, this is a video, a video address of a prominent congresswoman and the mayor of our largest and most important city. Surely I could just play the video and my audience of Americans will be. able to understand it, but apparently not. So I will translate, for the benefit of our audio podcast listeners, AOC and Mamdani were conveying in Spanish that free child care is available to New Yorkers, and that is tax-funded child care, so not free at all. And it's available, she made sure to emphasize, regardless of immigration status. So in other words, they were
Starting point is 00:57:19 explicitly advertising free child care for illegal immigrants. So if you live in New York City, You are forced at gunpoint to pay for daycare for people who don't legally belong in the country. Now, I don't even need to say at this point that this should not be legal. These people should be arrested. I mean, that's obvious. It's also obvious or should be that tax-funded daycare is an insane idea. Insane for illegal aliens, but insane in general. You know, we should be doing everything we can to, we should be doing the opposite.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Like everything we can to discourage families from putting their kids in daycare. So that's the opposite of what we're doing. Because even getting aside from the illegal alien part of this, which again, that's especially egregious. But tax-funded daycare is a terrible idea in and of itself. Daycare is a terrible idea for the most part. Daycare is bad for kids. It just is. Okay, dropping your two or three-year-old child off in a daycare center and saying, hey, I'll see you later tonight.
Starting point is 00:58:36 That's bad for them. It is very bad for them. And tons of research shows this. Young kids going to daycare centers translates to attachment issues, emotional issues, behavior problems, learning difficulties. Kids are not at that. age are not supposed to be away from home all day like that. Not in that kind of environment. Kids are not, that's, it's not healthy. It may be more, most convenient, but that's just, it's, it's not much different from, okay, I'm going to put my kid in front of a TV all day. I'm going to
Starting point is 00:59:20 have them on their phone all day, so I don't have to deal with them. I understand that that's more convenient, I get it, it makes your life easier. But it is obviously bad for your kids. So at least admit that. And keep in mind, too, that when you look at the, and again, you can look at the research into this. I think it's common sense you'd tell you. This, but you can look in the reason. A lot of research has been done to look at the outcomes. I mean, we've got multiple generations now of kids who've been raised in daycare centers. And so you can look at, you know, you can do these studies and things. You can look at the outcomes and they're not good. and keep in mind that kids in daycare tend to come from families with on average higher incomes
Starting point is 01:00:02 than families who don't use daycare. So you can't even say that there's a selection bias here where these kids are, they have poor outcomes and they would have had poor outcomes anyway because they come from financially disadvantaged families. Actually, on average, that's less likely to be the case. No, this is just because daycare screws your kid up, putting them in a daycare center, which isn't to say that it's bad if you have help raising your kids. That's perfectly natural. Ideally, we'd all have help. One of the reasons we have daycare centers is because we've set things up fundamentally as a society where people are expected to just kind of raise their kids entirely on their own.
Starting point is 01:00:47 And we kind of all spread out. You don't have your family around. And we're all just in different places. We're all these little islands. on our own. And it was also, that's also not meant to be that way. That's not how human society has ever worked in the past and it shouldn't work that way. So having family help, raise your kid, having family help, watch your kid and help with the day, the childcare responsibilities, that, that's perfectly healthy. And that can, not only does that not harm your kid, but that's actively good for them. I mean, provided your family member isn't abusive or something obviously, but generally, there are no negative outcomes to having family help, even having paid in-home help, like a nanny or something. Generally speaking, research
Starting point is 01:01:37 doesn't show the same kind of negative outcomes as daycare, which you would kind of expect because it's in your home. There's like a big difference between having a child in your home and sending them off to a daycare center. So having help in your home, having help in your home, having or in the home of a family member dropping a kid off with grandma for the day. That is a totally different thing. Now, I understand, obviously, that a lot of people don't have families who can help. A lot of people can't afford to hire in-home help, hire a nanny or something. Totally get that.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Okay, so this is not, oh, you're out of touch. You don't understand. No, I get it. I acknowledge that. Of course, that's the case. All I'm saying is that daycare is basically the worst possible. option. It's like what I say about public school. Public school is a failed experiment. It's not working. We just talked about this yesterday.
Starting point is 01:02:32 We don't need to go into it again. But it's a similar. It's, it's, even without bringing AI and all that stuff, public school is already harmful for a lot of the same reasons why daycare is. A lot of the same reasons. Like just dropping your kid off in some facility all day, every day, five days a week, nine months a year for first 12 or 13. for 12 or 13 years through their formative years of childhood, it's not healthy. It's not good for a kid. And better option is homeschool. Or in some cases, like there are some good, usually small private schools. But again, I recognize that some families can't do that. Can't afford private school. And there are some families where it feels like homeschool just doesn't work. We can't do it.
Starting point is 01:03:25 So I totally get all that. All I'm saying is that bringing you back to daycare, daycare is basically the worst possible solution. I mean, if you really have to do it, then you got to do it. You make do. I get it. But you should only have your kid in daycare if you actually have no other choice. No choice. Like you just, you have to. And then you go into it knowing the risks and knowing that like, okay, we got to do this now. We have no other choice. We're going to make the best of it. And we're going to stop this as soon as we can. And then in that case, look, you do what you've got to do. The problem is a huge percentage of kids who are in daycare don't actually need to be there. The family chooses it for lifestyle reasons. And if you're choosing it for lifestyle reasons, then in that case, you're kind of choosing the negative effects for the sake of lifestyle. And then it does become similar to, okay, I'm going to get my kid a phone and let them be on the phone all day because it's better for my lifestyle, even if it's harmful to them.
Starting point is 01:04:36 So that's what's happening. And regardless of any of that, taxpayers should not be funding this. I mean, that's the real thing. That's what it comes down to. And we will leave it there for today. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. Talk to you tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:04:54 Have a great day. Godspeed. They told you America invented slavery. They told you the Indians were peaceful. They told you colonialism was evil and that Joseph McCarthy was a bad guy. And guess what? They lied. For half a century, generations of American school children have been taught to hate our history, hate our country, and hate themselves.
Starting point is 01:05:24 It's time to set the record straight. And since no one else is going to do it, I will. Who sold us the slaves? What were India and Africa like before European? arrived? What caused white flight? Some of the most well-known stories from American history are designed to demoralize you. Trail of tears, smallpox, blanket smith, the red scare. It's all baseless. It's time for a lesson on what they're not teaching in public schools. On the real history of slavery, of colonialism, of the Indians, of America, and the world.
Starting point is 01:05:56 It's time for Real History with Matt Walsh. Now streaming only on Daily Wire Plus. I WRIGHT.
