Starting point is 00:00:00 Nobody wakes up excited to deal with Medicare, and yet it is one of the most consequential financial decisions you'll make. So maybe give it more than five minutes. Here's the part that should make you angry. Insurance companies are out there paying agents to steer you into specific plans whether those plans fit you or not. Nobody's telling you that. Most people assume they've seen all their options. They haven't, not even close. Chapter is different.
Starting point is 00:00:23 They don't work for big insurance. They work for you. They're the only Medicare advisors that compare every plan nationwide, every single one. They look at your doctors, your prescriptions, your actual situation, and they give you a straight answer. No angle, no agenda. If you're on the right plan, they will tell you. If not, they'll help you switch. People who've found new plans through Chapter have saved over $1,100 a year on average.
Starting point is 00:00:46 It's free under 20 minutes. You'll get a straight answer, which is more than Medicare has ever given you. Visit dailywire.com slash chapter today. Well, we are back after a two-week break, which, of course, in the podcasting business, means we've missed approximately. 100,000 news cycles or so. We weren't able to cover the 15 different ceasefire agreements that we signed with Iran, each of which lasted on average about five minutes, so we're very effective. We couldn't even cover Taylor Swift's wedding to the 13th Best Titan in the NFL, very private, reverent affair held in a Madison Square Garden with Adam Sandler officiating.
Starting point is 00:01:21 As a big fan of Taylor Swift and an even bigger fan of celebrity weddings, as you know, I would have liked to do my show live from outside the venue, you know, cover it live. but unfortunately I was on vacation. Also, from what I understand, anyone who came within a five-block radius of the ceremony with a net worth under $100 million was immediately shot on site. And most tragically of all, we weren't able to discuss the day-to-day developments in the World Cup, a tournament which lasted for approximately 8,000 years or so, in which in the end felt less like a soccer tournament and more like definitive proof
Starting point is 00:01:54 beamed out to tens of millions of people that demographic replacement is indeed very real. The match between France and England might as well have been between, you know, Nigeria and Cameroon. You had to squint to find a white guy on the pitch at all. And come to think of it, here's some free advice to anybody who wants to make a viral YouTube video. Take someone who doesn't know anything about soccer, cover up the scoreboard, mute the audio, and have them watch the match between France and England, and after a few minutes, have them guess what teams are playing. nobody will get it right, not even close.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Hilarity will ensue, and then YouTube will take the video down, and New York Times will call you racist, and your life will be destroyed. But on the bright side, you'll have made a very important point, and you'll have created a video that's infinitely more entertaining than soccer could ever dream of being. We also missed the release of The Odyssey. I haven't seen it yet, so I can't deliver my verdict on it. The clip of Ellen Page that's made the rounds running awkwardly and by, body armor with the gate of a small child who just soiled her diaper.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Doesn't fill me with much hope for the film, but I'll have to see the movie before I can give it a final grade. The problem is that apparently you have to like hack through the jungle and traverse mountains and deserts to find one of the three and a half theaters on the globe that actually show the film in the format the director intended, which makes a lot of sense for a big blockbuster movie. But there was one event from the break that warrants, I think, a deeper discussion because of the larger point it leads us to, though it's not an event that would seem to be particularly significant on its surface. And I'm talking about the recent Democrat Senate debate in the state of Maine. Now, as you may remember, Graham Platner, the socialist with the Nazi tattoo who won in the
Starting point is 00:03:45 Democrats' primary recently withdrew from the race. And that's another story that I think we missed. I think that happened during the break. He didn't withdraw because he was unpopular. Every poll showed that Democrat voters loved his whole vibe, you know, the Nazi tattoo, the multiple accusations of sexual assault and so on. But he withdrew because of a rape allegation that proved to be the final straw. One allegation too many, I guess. And the party establishment decided that enough was enough. He was becoming too much of distraction and he needed to step aside. And Plightner's abrupt withdrawal from the race naturally created something of a power vacuum in party politics. Because the primary was already held, Democrat delegates throughout Maine
Starting point is 00:04:23 have to vote on the replacement candidate. Normal everyday voters are irrelevant at this point, as they usually are in Democrat Party politics. You may be sensing a pattern. So in order to help these delegates make up their mind, Maine Democrats held a debate featuring a handful of their most promising candidates. And one of those candidates is an obese man wearing a dress and using the name Ashley J. Webb.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Webb was asked why he's qualified to serve in the Senate. And this was his response if you haven't seen. And as you listen to this, keep in mind that the other Democrats on the stage and the moderators had to keep a perfectly straight face throughout the whole thing. Every loyal Democrat Party voter at home, the people who buy into the party's platform and left-wing ideology, had to do the same thing. They all had to pretend that what they were witnessing was completely normal. In fact, they had to pretend that it was brave and beautiful.
Starting point is 00:05:20 The platonic ideal of female expression. So here is Ashley J. Webb, who is definitely not Graham Platner in drag. Here it is. Watch. Webb, what qualifications do you have to serve in the U.S. Senate? Oh, I ran for office several times. Didn't win, but he didn't run. And then I'm a songwriter, and then I write my own books. And then I expose my transparency.
Starting point is 00:05:48 I wouldn't lie to the people, and I wouldn't deceive the people. Like, we're being deceived right now. like we get lighted, smoke and mirrors, like what's going on with ice, pretending like these victims did something wrong. Like that's unacceptable. And I suppose the biggest thing is like I'm just an angry citizen now. And if I got elected, I'd be an angry senator. And I think that would probably be their worst nightmare.
Starting point is 00:06:19 So truly a beautiful woman. And by beautiful, I mean, he looks a little like a resurrected, zombie-fied John Candy or something. But he got the last part of his statement right. He's a very angry person, as are most of these guys who wear women's clothing. And he would indeed be the worst nightmare of every man, woman, and child in Washington, D.C. If he were elected to serve in the United States Senate, Lovecraft himself could not have conceived a cosmic horror quite like Ashley J. Webb. Given how old most senators are, it's fair to think of this guy as kind of a walking bio weapon. There will be multiple heart attacks on the Senate floor the moment
Starting point is 00:06:54 he walked in the door. Maybe that's the plan. I don't know. But Webb did say something interesting in his response, which is that he doesn't want to deceive anyone, which mission accomplished, or almost accomplished, because even if he's not fooling any of us, even those of us who are blind or in a coma, he is clearly deceiving himself to some extent. So already we're not off to a very good start here when it comes to honesty and integrity. It doesn't look like Ashley Webb is serious about his commitment to transparency to put it mildly. But things somehow get worse when you look at Web's social media history. And this was reported by the researcher Colin Wright, who says that he found Web's posts on Reddit,
Starting point is 00:07:34 which have now been deleted. So we'll put a few of them up on the screen. You take a look at this guy, and you automatically know his posts on Reddit are going to be pretty bad, but they're even worse than you would expect, even though he is just sort of the average Reddeter at the same time. So here's what Red Webb wrote, according to Wright's reporting. Quote, I have a cycle in which I get monthly cramping, like pain accompanied with bleeding. I ovulate as well. When you don't have the proper hole, it finds one of two exits. My exit connection was made with my colon, because when I get this monthly pain, that is where the blood comes out of.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Now, that was probably more information about Ashley Webb than you ever wanted. The fact that he exists at all is more information than you wanted. So the gastrointestinal details of his life are certainly well beyond that threshold of things you want to know. But it's important to understand that this Democrat Senate candidate is, like so many Democrat Senate candidates, including and especially the candidates who've actually been elected, legitimately unwell. And Webb is fully committed to this bid in ways that are truly disturbing and obviously should be disqualifying. The account Reddit Lies, for example, found this post in which Webb pretends to be a 5-foot-6 woman who's 26 years old and only 200 pounds because even in this guy's wildest fantasies, he's still 70 pounds overweight, which is interesting. And in this fantasy, he also suffers from chronic lower abdominal pain tied to my psychics.
Starting point is 00:09:12 And then Webb attached imagery from an actual woman CT scan. Who knows where he got that, which he passes off as his own. So not to beat the dead horse here, but I mean, this guy's fantasy scenario in his wildest dreams is that he's a short, overweight, 26-year-old woman with a chronic health condition. That's what he wants to be when he grows up. This, of course, is a particularly disturbing expression of autogynophilia, which trans activists have done everything in their power to erase from the media and from scientific literature. He's sexually excited by the image of himself as a female to the point that he's fabricating CT results in order to communicate to random people on the internet as if he's an actual woman. So there's no ambiguity here. He belongs in an asylum, and his hard drive needs to be searched.
Starting point is 00:10:04 This is a very sick individual who needs to be treated for this exceedingly obvious. obvious disorder. But that's not going to happen. But to the Democrat Party, there's nothing wrong with this picture at all. They're happy this guy's receiving taxpayer-funded health care through Medicare. They're thrilled he's running for the Senate. It's not as if the other candidates on the stage were much better. They all want to tax Americans in order to pay health care benefits for foreigners. They all want to abolish ICE and open the borders. These are all policies that based on delusions or at a minimum gross misunderstandings of reality. And if you vote for a Democrat in 2026, that's what you're supporting. Now, if you want to know why, you know, the left has tried
Starting point is 00:10:45 to kill comedy, this explains it. Comedy fundamentally involves laughing at things that are incongruous and absurd. Democrats had to try to murder comedy in order to prevent people from laughing at their party. In a society with a sense of humor, none of this works. It's just too hysterical to take seriously. And it kept going. Watch. And then with the trans community, like we're being dehumanized. They say that we want to hurt people. I don't want to hurt anybody. I just want to use the bathroom. And if they want me to use the men's room, I will. I don't want to be assaulted. So put that slogan on a bumper sticker. I don't want to hurt anybody. I just want to use the bathroom. Ashley Webb, 26. That's, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:32 By the way, it's always an ominous sign when somebody walks into the bathroom and feels the need to announce that they don't want to hurt anyone. If you're in the bathroom stall and you hear someone walk in and say that, I'd be very, like, pull your feet up so they don't know you're in there. Actually, if somebody walks into any room and announces that they don't intend to hurt you, that's pretty much a universal signal that you need to flee the premises before you wind up hanging from meat hooks in their basement. And just the other day, a channel called Inside Blue TV uncovered, you know, this. this body camera footage from February of last year. And it has to be one of the most dramatic trans freakouts of all time, which is obviously saying something. This is not Ashley Webb, but, you know, since we're on the subject, the footage depicts
Starting point is 00:12:15 an unstable 27-year-old trans-identifying man having a meltdown on a college campus, which is University of Central Florida and Orlando, berating and attacking officers. It takes two male officers and multiple taser deployments to subdue this guy. And throughout the footage, the cops keep calling him a male, which naturally infuriates him even further. Watch. What's the problem? Why do you let those kids get away with this?
Starting point is 00:12:42 They are not supposed to be here! If you don't lower your voice, I am going to put handcuffs on you, and I'm going to take you to a baker act facility. Lower your voice. Try it. Are you threatening me? You're threatening me.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Are you threatening me? I'm not just... Because I'm here right now to deal with it. stolen vehicle. I ain't got time to hear you screaming and yelling. I don't have time to constantly be abused. We'll get OPD down here then, because I got to work the stolen vehicle. What do you mean OPD? Alpha 73, University.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Alpha 73. Can we get another unit to deal with Jay Lee here? He is having a breakdown in... Say! Say! Just say the right pro now! What'd you say? 7351. Get down on the ground right now.
Starting point is 00:13:33 No, no, please. You're about to get sprayed. No, just let me alone. Leave me alone! I can come in there. Leave me alone, please! Okay, are you gonna calm down? I just want to get away from him.
Starting point is 00:13:46 I understand that. He... He... He... ...stead! Stop mask janguing me! Just say she! I for seven three
Starting point is 00:14:01 Josh Can't please just tell them to use the right pronouns Please Okay I think we get the idea You know it's causing me a lot of just All right yeah So there's that Again every loyal Democrat voter
Starting point is 00:14:18 Every true believer has to affirm This guy's reality They have no principled way to reject His claim that he's a woman Because in their view everyone who claims to be one Is one is a circular definition Therefore a meaningless one As I've of course established
Starting point is 00:14:30 At great length over the years. And it's why the trans agenda was a non-starter from the beginning. It's why it's now dead in the water, but the Democrat Party is still officially committed to it and has to be. I mean, after all, relativism, the idea that truth is relative to a person's subjective experience is a core element, perhaps the core element, arguably, of leftist ideology. And that's why they can't swear off, you know, this kind of thing. They can't swear off transgenderism and exile these activists off to the hinterlands. As much as they might want to, they really can. Here's the guy in the booking photo without the blue wig, by the way.
Starting point is 00:15:06 At least he can see a lot better without the wig in his eyes. Never mind the fact that he's clearly in mental distress, never mind the fact that he's clearly adaged everybody around him. Imagine being an actual woman and having to share a dorm or a locker room or a bathroom with this lunatic. That's what Democrats stand for. That's why their party, you know, it's what their party has become. And they're too committed now.
Starting point is 00:15:26 They can't turn back. In 10 years, they'll probably elect this guy to be the next senator for Maine. So what's a political party to do under these circumstances? You know, you've been fully captured by the most deranged members of society. Your most politically active members spent all their time in echo chambers like Blue Sky, where they become progressively more insane. Most of your voters believe murder is justified in order to defeat their political opponents, which is why they openly celebrated the murders of Charlie Kirk and Brian Thompson.
Starting point is 00:15:57 There's no off-ramp here, so what do you do? If you find yourself feeling unprepared for massive life changes, you're not alone. Most people feel wholly unprepared for all the surprises that life throws at them. Well, to answer that question, you have to look no further than the New York Times, which
Starting point is 00:18:36 is the mouthpiece for the establishment wing of the party. And they just published a puff piece, a Q&A with Zoran Mamdanian, in which they begged him to export socialism all across the country. And here's what they asked him, followed by his response. Quote, question. I'm curious how you're planning to use your political capital. Are you planning on getting involved in races outside of New York? Answer, my focus right now is on New York City.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Question, if you're wanting to send this message beyond New York, the question obviously is how and when. Answer, I'm still seeing the world like that cover of the New Yorker where it's New York, it's New Jersey, and then it's the rest of the world. But I also think that New Yorkers have sent a message, and we've seen these kinds of victories in New Jersey and Colorado in California. So they've decided that socialism is the answer, and for obvious reasons, socialism does not rely on popular support.
Starting point is 00:19:31 They don't need to win elections. They don't need to appeal to logic or common sense, certainly not morality. Instead, socialists rely on the power of the state to suppress dissent. And as history has shown, socialists can seize power very quickly in a revolution that most people don't even support. For a Democrat Party that's deeply unpopular and increasingly insane, in a country that's becoming more third world by the day, thanks to unchecked mass migration, socialism becomes a tempting option. And nobody on the right should underestimate what they're planning. Mamdani is the single most dangerous man in the entire country right now, and it's not even
Starting point is 00:20:12 close for this reason. Over our break, we released the latest episode of My Real History series on the Russian Revolution, which I highly recommend that you watch, in many ways, it's the most important one we've done and the best. We focused on the Bolsheviks rise to power in great detail. We covered the similarities to the rise in socialism in the United States today. And it's a fascinating story, one that most people aren't familiar with because schools refuse to tell the truth about communists and their many atrocities. And in short, you have to go watch the entire episode. But The Bolsheviks were not popular. They never were. But they ruled for decades. And they destroyed an empire. They ended millions of lives because they were committed to obtaining power at all costs. They were ruthless. They were shameless. And left unchecked long enough, people who are ruthless and shameless, get what they want. That's especially true in the United States today, given that educated left-wing women have become a powerful voting blog. This is a demographic that's especially susceptible to socialism for a few reasons.
Starting point is 00:21:22 For one thing, socialists don't care about the fact that they'll eventually run out of other people's money. They don't understand how investments work or how everybody responds to incentives. They don't care that socialism has always failed and will always fail wherever it's attempted. That is if we imagine that the goal is actually to see to the well-being of individuals, then by that measure, it fails. But that actually is not the goal. And they certainly don't care that no country, no matter how wealthy, can support a welfare state with open borders. Economics is too dry and complicated for these people. Instead, socialists are motivated largely by emotion and idealism. Peace land and bread is what drove the Bolshevik revolutionaries. They were fed up with World War I and the food shortages, and they reached for some solution, any solution.
Starting point is 00:22:12 They weren't debating Marx or anything like that. They weren't holding in-depth discussions about the merits of capitalism versus socialism. They were responding in haste in panic to a crisis. And Lenin exploited that. In fact, as we discussed in real history, one of the socialist main tactics was co-opting university protest movements. University students were upset about the administrations, you know, cracked down on partying. And so the socialist swept in, took advantage of that, and urged the students to rebel against the government at large, and it worked. Now, Mamdani is executing a similar strategy in New York, and women, more than any other demographic group, are falling for it.
Starting point is 00:22:56 For example, the other day, Mamdani went to Rikers to watch the World Cup with the inmates, and here's some footage of his visit to give you an idea. Watch. Who you guys were for? I hope that this is over here on the team? The World Cup has been a magical moment for the entire city. These are New Yorkers and they will be New Yorkers when they get out of Rankers. They're New Yorkers today and I wanted to make sure that we can celebrate this moment together. I met one New Yorker for whom today is his final day on Rikers, and he's heading home tonight.
Starting point is 00:23:45 He was saying he's going to see his mother, he's going to see his daughter, and he's going to get right back to work. That's a lovely thing to be able to share with someone. So it's a room full of dangerous criminal sociopaths laughing and having a great time, which you might argue makes it no different from Congress. Very little difference between watching that clip and watching C-SPAN, which is true. Yet still, it's one of the most disgraceful displays by a politician in living memory. I mean, imagine being the victim of one of these criminals or, you know, one of their family members. These are people who are supposedly being punished for their actions to the point that they were incarcerated, which if you know anything about New York is quite a feat. I mean, you can commit arson at Fox's headquarters.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Literally, you can burn their Christmas tree down in broad daylight and you'll get out of jail in 24 hours. You can repeatedly assault women on the subway. You can even break a woman's nose, as Jordan Neely did, spend no time in prison for it. So with that in mind, if somebody is spending a long time in Rikers Island, it's a guarantee that they were extremely committed to being a vicious, dangerous, antisocial criminal. These are the kinds of people that are there and that Zohar Mamdani was having a soccer party with. But to Mamdani, these inmates don't deserve punishment. Instead, they deserve a World Cup watch party. Any rational person understand what's going on here. He wants to, well, he really wants to spring every single criminal loose. He fully believes in defunding the police and ending all incarceration, as all socialists do. In fact, one of the main ways the Russian Revolution got off the ground is that at precisely the worst moment, many Bolsheviks were released from prison. Again, we cover this in the episode, which you can watch now. And this is not an exaggeration where it applies to Mamdani.
Starting point is 00:25:32 During the campaign, Mamdani made it clear that he wants to abolish all prisons. He was very explicit about that. Watch. But how does abolishing prisons or having open borders? fit into that. I mean, do you see how that's, those are ideas that a lot of your Democrats that are warning about what happened here, say are toxic. Most of America won't go along with it, are bad ideas. They're dangerous ideas. I think what the focus of her race was, what the focus of her candidacy was, was about the struggle that working people are facing. And I think that we can have
Starting point is 00:26:00 disagreements on policy positions. What we have to agree on is what are we fighting for and who are we fighting for. She showed that in her race. And I think that many people will come to appreciate that in her leadership to come. So we can disagree on something as basic as whether or not there should be prisons? That's not your position. There are prisons. And what we're also showing in this city is that safety is not something that's up for debate. So the ABC anchor says we can disagree on something as basic as we should have prisons.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Mom Dani says there are prisons. Well, yeah, that was not what he said. We're not disagreeing on whether there are prisons. That's established. Should there be, though? and Mom Dani thinks that there shouldn't. That's what he actually thinks. Now, if you want the United States to continue to exist as a country,
Starting point is 00:26:51 then all of this is unacceptable to you. You understand that obviously we need prisons in order to protect innocent people from barbarians. You also understand that the role of prisoners to punish criminals not to reward them. I mean, these are the basic building blocks of civilization. But many female voters in particular in New York don't see it that way.
Starting point is 00:27:11 over TikTok, you'll find videos in which women were weeping over Mamdani's visit to Rikers. They just couldn't contain themselves. And they present Mamdani as a Christ-like figure, as a Muslim who's actually more Christian than any of his critics. Now, fair warning, if you're a big supporter of the 19th Amendment, then these clips might cause a certain amount of cognitive dissonance. But here they are. Watch. Mayor Maldani. Mayor Mumdani just watched the World's Cup. Raker's Island and like who would do that no has any mayor ever done something like that I
Starting point is 00:27:49 love this man too much I love this man and he is the best mayor in New York City's ever seen will ever see well hopefully not but hopefully we always you know progress but oh my god like that just made me so emotional like no one would think to do that and him and his team did oh good Goodness gracious. Goodness gracious. So I ran Mamdani watching the World Cup with inmates at Rikers Island and just showing the humanity. He's more Christian than most Christians I've ever seen. And they demonize him.
Starting point is 00:28:32 They demonize him and he's just out here loving people and trying to do good by them. I will never understand it. I've studied scripture and tried to follow Jesus my entire life. My faith wasn't just something that I did. It was the bedrock foundation of who I was. And it was that same longing to chase after Jesus that led me to deconstruction. I followed Jesus right out of the church. So I have a pretty good biblical idea of what Jesus is supposed to look like. And Mayor Mondani looks more like Jesus. than any human I have ever seen with my eyes. He is following through with all the things that Jesus said.
Starting point is 00:29:20 I was hungry and you gave me food. He has helped forth low-income people having food that's available and healthy. You know, he is looking after the widows and the orphans, and he watched part of the World Cup at Rikers Island with the prisoners and said, these are New Yorkers, and there'll be New Yorkers when they get out. Jesus said, for I was in prison and you came and visited me. Mayor Mondani, I have undying respect for you and your faith, and I hope you know this is meant as the highest compliment I can give another human being.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Okay. I see Jesus in you. Yeah, yeah. So we get the idea. You know, I will say the ability of every woman on TikTok to just cry on command with real tears is kind of disturbing. I mean, that's one of those things you think, it's like a mark of a good actor, you know, it shouldn't be that easy to do, just generate real tears and cry. Every woman with a TikTok account can do it. It tells you something. You just can't have a civilization in which
Starting point is 00:30:30 these people have a significant amount of power to choose our leaders. It's not possible. There's a lot of psychology here, including the success of the entire true crime genre. We've spent an talking about why so many women are sympathetic to criminals who would happily murder them in a dark alley. We could talk about all the insane rationalizations they'll use to justify their various fantasies. But suffice to say, none of these women cried on camera over Lake and Riley, who was brutally murdered on the campus of the University of Georgia by a rabid Venezuelan. Or Aidan Clark, the kid who was killed by the Haitian driving on the wrong side of the road. or Billy Schmidt, the Penn State student who was shot to death by two black thugs who stole his cell phone. These women are only sympathetic towards the worst among us.
Starting point is 00:31:16 They want them to watch the World Cup and have a party. They want them back on the streets because they have no understanding of how the world works, nor do they care. They're driven solely by emotion. Democrats like Mamdani are taking full advantage of these people. That's not even getting into the theology or lack their other. on display in those clips. Needless to say, there's nothing in the scripture that says that we should throw parties for hardened criminals in Rikers.
Starting point is 00:31:47 As you saw in that footage, these people were not abandoned or forsaken in prison. They were living it up. And there's certainly nothing in the scripture that commands mayors to stage photo ops, complete with camera crews and security details, inside a prison like Rikers Island. you know, there's a line in that parable when they asked, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or in prison? And the whole point is that they did a good thing without the pageantry, without drawing attention to it for their own ends.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Mom Dani, on the other hand, visited the prisoners in order to serve his own cynical, political ambitions. And so then he's what Jesus would call and did call it many times in the Gospels a hypocrite. And here's another example from the post-millennial, citing reporting from the New York Post. Momdani is now paying drug users for injecting themselves with heroin. It's a supposedly compassionate policy that makes no sense if you think about it for five seconds, which is why New York's electorate, mostly single left-wing women and foreigners, love it. Quote, socialist New York City mayor Zora Mamdani has quietly made a pilot program that pays drug users for their used needles. The Big Apple's budget for the fiscal year includes $3 million to maintain the,
Starting point is 00:33:00 the Health Department's community syringe redemption program. The program pays junkies 20 cents per syringe turned in. Those using drugs can get paid for up to 50 use needles a day for $10 and can turn them in at eight different drop-off sites. The sites are located in the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. The program was piloted as something that would get used needles off the streets and off public property. It was initially approved with legislation that was passed in 2022.
Starting point is 00:33:27 The official program started in 2025. over 2.3 million needles have been collected with the program over its first 16 months, leading to payouts of nearly $300,000 in cash. The program was supposed to help the sanitation department with his efforts in picking up used needles around parks and other public places. The department says that they are still picking up the same number of needles as before the program was launched. Oh, you think? So as a practical matter, the program is about as successful as all those homelessness prevention programs
Starting point is 00:33:57 that take in billions of dollars of donations and tax revenue and grant money every single year. It's counterproductive in every imaginable way. There's no logic behind it. Very clearly, it will accelerate the destruction of New York City. And now it's permanent. Now, as a matter of policy, New Yorkers will now be forced to pay the junkies for overdosing on the sidewalk outside their homes. Because it turns out that, I mean, who would have thought when you pay junk, when you give junkies money for their heroin needles, when you give them the $10 for the $50 that they turned in or whatever it is, what do they go do with the $10? Oh, they go buy more heroin that they use, which also translates to more needles. Of course, that's not all they're going to pay for.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Many other similar programs are in the works. Again, this is from the post-millennial, quote, socialist New York City Mayor Zohr Mamdani is offering even more free taxpayer-funded programs, including a new pilot program that's meant to provide babysitting for parents who are looking to have a night out. Domney announced the Parents Night Out program that will give free babysitting to parents on August 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. for up to 500 children. Registration for the program opened at 8 a.m. on Monday. We'll run for seven days with spots available on a first-come-first-served basis. Programming for the children includes supervised games, sports, and fitness activities, arts and crafts, media education programs. and nature exploration, and the program will be led by urban park rangers and trained NYC Park staff.
Starting point is 00:35:33 The program will be open to families with kids who are ages 6 to 13, and children will be watched at designated city recreation centers. In support of the policy, Mom Dani said, quote, every parent knows that a few hours to yourself can feel like a luxury. It shouldn't be. Making New York City more affordable isn't just about lowering costs, about giving people back their time. Well, this is now the platform of the Democrat Party. In their role, in their view, it's the role of the state to confiscate your money and then redistribute it for the benefit of Democrat voters, most of them foreigners who don't even belong in the country, so that in this case they can have a night out. Because also the other thing that the government, that they want is for your kids to spend more time in the care of government employees, which of course is what this is really about. Most of these kids already spend, they already spend all day in, yeah, this is great.
Starting point is 00:36:27 They spend all day in the public school system being cared for by government employees. And then when they get home, just drop them back. And then they'll be home for like an hour and just drop them right back with the government employees. Just make sure your kids are never around you. They spend every waking moment being cared for by a government employee. It sounds like a great idea. And if you're going to do that, why not have the government pay for, you know, everyone to have a house and the salary of $100,000 a year? a fun little hobby and a nice car and a pet gerbil.
Starting point is 00:36:57 As long as we're spending money that we don't have, what exactly is the limiting principle here? Don't ask the women or the foreigners who voted for Mamdani. They don't know or care. Half of them don't even speak English, so they have no idea what you're talking about anyway. Young men today have been fed a very disturbing lie for decades now. They're told that they should go to a university,
Starting point is 00:37:17 straight out of college, take on thousands of dollars in debt, before they even know what they want to do with their life, with the goal at the end being a piece of paper that supposedly will help them land a high-paying job. But as many men have found out the hard way, that was all the line. Our sponsor, Grand Canyon University, has a different message to tell you, though,

It's important to emphasize that while Democrats are busy enacting socialism in New York and several other states, the Trump administration is showing signs that it's backing down to some extent in the fight against the illegal invaders inside the country. This is from a recent article in New York Times, quote,
Starting point is 00:38:45 federal prosecutors in Illinois said they were upholding the rule of law in October when they charged six protesters with conspiring to interfere with a federal agent after a clash outside an immigration detention center. That felony charge could have carried years in prison for the defendants who included a Democratic congressional candidate, a village trustee, and a candidate for county office. But in a surprise move on Wednesday, months after the end of the immigration enforcement blitz that set off the protest, prosecutors told a judge, they would dismiss the remaining felony charges and proceed. with only misdemeanors. The decision was a significant retreat in a case that had captured the attention of the Justice Department's highest ranking officials and brought accusations for Democrats the prosecutors were pursuing a political agenda. This case has cost myself, one of my closest friends, and four others, immeasurable amounts of stress, money, and opportunity. Kat Abugazela, one of the defendants said on social media after the hearing, Ms. Abugazela, who lost her Democratic
Starting point is 00:39:38 primary for Congress last month, described the dismissal on Wednesday as a huge win, but noted that she was still awaiting trial on the misdemeanor charge. So they're eliminating the felony charge against these Democrats, including Katabugazela, because they supposedly didn't engage in a conspiracy to impede ICE. Meanwhile, we have multiple videos of this woman on camera engaging in a conspiracy with other people to impede ICE. Watch. If this woman doesn't spend at least, I mean, really like a decade in prison on a felony a conviction, then we're in a lot of trouble. And when socialists play to win and everyone else
Starting point is 00:40:41 shows leniency to the enemies of civilization, then the socialists will inevitably prevail. That's the lesson of the Bolshevik revolution, as outlined in our latest episode of real history. It's maybe the single most important lesson for Americans to understand right now, which is why we produce the episode. Left to their own devices, these people will consume every single one of our freedoms like a cancer until there's nothing left, and they will do it to the delight of countless women on TikTok. The good news is that these people are dumb, ignorant, often deranged, which is why debates resemble a comedy routine or a circus act. The bad news is that dumb, ignorant, and deranged beats lazy and complacent every single time.
Starting point is 00:41:28 are we lazy and complacent enough to let these people succeed as they did in the early 20th century Democrats are betting we are and it's now the highest priority of every American to prove them wrong I'll do with the show today thanks for watching thanks for listening talk to you tomorrow have a great day Godspeed once upon a time there was a country not just a country but a big one an empire And in that empire, there was an upper middle class family where two boys were raised by their mother, loved books, Uncle Tom's cabin in the Bible. Their father admired the country's leaders, were patriotic and happy. Both sons went to universities where they were radicalized.
Starting point is 00:42:19 One of the brothers read a book and convinced him to try to shoot the country's leader. He was hanged. The other brother read the same books, they decided to lead a movement. they came for the universities and no one seemed to care. Then they took over the unions and again, no one seemed to care. Then they created their own media organizations and took over the cities. And again, most people just ignored it.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Change after all was something they could believe in until it was too late. Sound familiar? This is the real history of communism, the Russian Revolution.
