Starting point is 00:02:07 No, no. That's terrible. That was bad. I didn't practice. Well, we'll have the chime ready, I believe. It's been approved by everyone. We're trying to do the Netflix sound. We're trying to do the Netflix out.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Rich Eisen's idea. I can't steal it. But if players drafted. He was like, to do-do-o-o. It's a unique sound, man. It's going to be wild. So we're excited to share this with all of you on Netflix live. We're on an hour before the draft. 8 p.m. Eastern is when the draft kicks off.
Starting point is 00:02:33 We're doing a pre-show 7 o'clock, all the intel, get you ready for it. On Thursday night, day one of the draft, and then day two, Friday. We're there one hour before, so that will be 6 p.m. Eastern we start for the 7 p.m. Eastern start time for the second day of the NFL draft, rounds three and four. So with that aside, the mock just came up. Let's get into it. Let's take three things off the top. Tucker, put that graphic up for the folks, all right?
Starting point is 00:03:02 Top ten picks. It got a little wild, man, and I can already smell a mock 5.1 in the air. Wasn't going to do it. Now he's going to do it. But I do feel good about the tenor of this thing. I think players are going to come off the board a little bit earlier in the defensive side. I think Mansour Delane from LSU. It's somewhere in that 7 to 12.
Starting point is 00:03:25 I don't know if he gets to 12 range. I think Ruben Bain could very well go eight to the Saints or nine to the Chiefs. But let's start right off the top. Fernando Mendoza, we know, is the number one overall pick to the Raiders. Number two. I laugh at the folks who are busting my balls about the Jets in that pick. Meanwhile, every single national analyst and every local one all admits, and to his credit and the organization's credit for the first time I can remember, I can remember, the thing's a vault, man. Yeah, isn't that great?
Starting point is 00:03:59 I've got really good sources. I trusted one that led me in the wrong direction, and I've gotten to the bottom of the Y for about 48 hours. Other than that, we, A, were first to market on David Bailey over like a month and a half ago. And B, after some Reese talk, we came back and for the last 10 plus days outside of 48 hours, we were on David Bailey. And the messed up part of all of it is because of this secrecy with the number two pick for the New York Jets and with Mendoza already well known, I still think like 2% of me, maybe 5% of me. Here we go. And maybe it's not Reese.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Maybe it's a trade that we don't, you know, like, so like, get out of here. Oh, and I, and Fandul is our biggest sponsor. So everyone's on, oh, he's sent out. The only tweet I sent out about David Bailey, which, by the way, I had him going to the Jets for Fanduel. Let me let you know how this thing works. I have been working the draft with my sources for 26 years, developing a reputation. And the people in the league don't give a shit. If I'm tweeting something out, we all have business and work.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Guess who the lights are on in this studio, right? You know why? FanDuel. You looked at our website, a beautiful new website. Guess who's sponsoring it? FanDuel. They're wonderful to work with. Guess what's happening in sports today?
Starting point is 00:05:26 Gambling is a part of it. I understand all of it. There's no conflict. So I get an email a couple times and saying, hey, let's send out. We're doing a fan dual thing. So I look at the board. They send me the board and they're like, What kind of jumps out to you?
Starting point is 00:05:40 I put out a couple things. Do you think that my integrity is any different? Do you think that has anything to do with the 30 phone calls? I'm talking to NFL executives? Like, get out of here, scumbags. Like, there's scumbags that are drifting off of our information. And then there are other ones who are questioning my integrity. Get out of it.
Starting point is 00:06:01 And honestly, it seems like I'm worked up. I'm not even that worked up, but it's kind of like stop. Of all the things you're going to question me on, It's the integrity of what we're doing here. And meanwhile, we've got the Shreggers and Schaeffters and the Breers and all the local people. It's like everyone has kind of been in and out. And yes, he's planted, Schreger planted his flag on Bailey. And I'd have, except for 48 hours because I got information.
Starting point is 00:06:25 If you knew this source, you'd be like, oh, I get it. I get why Todd did that. Seems reasonable. There's a relationship with Mugi going back like 25, 30 years. Hmm. Might have been a source. I would. So like, stop. Please stop.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Feel better. Had to get that off your chest, right? Yeah, I feel better. Like, it's a joke. And I honestly, like, I've talked to three teams since all of this stuff. And they're like, no one's even like, it's not even on the radar of people that matter. So I shouldn't even, I shouldn't even entertain it for those, those folks. Anyway, Arvel Reese, I have going three.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I want to get these three picks out of the way. Because Arizona one is interesting because Arvel, I put Arvelle, I put Arvelle, I have. Belrice there because I think there is a chance that Arizona could take them. Yep. I think there's just as much a chance that, let's put it this way. If the Cardinals get their number one priority wish on that wish list and are able to move out, the team that's moving up is moving up for one of those two edge rushers. So if Bailey goes to, as everyone's projecting now, then that would be for R. Belrose, okay?
Starting point is 00:07:36 Yep. So now it gives me, even if it's 70-30 with Bidwell, and everyone in the league thinks this, and people are sharing it, so I'll share it too. There seems to be bidwell is really pushing, and I've been telling you for a month plus, there's a voice in that Cardinals organization that is pushing for Jeremiah Love while others are pushing for an edge rusher at 3. So we'll see tomorrow night. But let's say for these purposes, whether it's Arizona at three or it's a team moving in, Arvel Reese is that pick. So you feel good about the first three players off the board? I feel good about the first two. Well, not the order, though.
Starting point is 00:08:19 It's going to be Mendoza, Bailey, Reese, whatever order the second two might be. It might be Reese Bailey. No, I feel good about Bailey. I really do. And I think if there's a shock there, we'll all be shocked together and it'll be a lot of fun. Honestly, if Arizona sticks and picks, the guy who writes the checks and there's other people in the building. I got you. I think Jeremiah Love right now, if you told me absolutely, we're on the clock.
Starting point is 00:08:46 There's no trail. Arizona takes it. I probably am shifting that to Jeremiah Love, even though I know there are people in the building, the football side. Not all, but some in the football side that would think that they should go, whether it's Arvel Reese or Maui Noah or. they should go in a different direction than Jeremiah Love. Yeah, I wasn't getting that at first. Okay. What else do you feel good about?
Starting point is 00:09:05 What else do you feel really strongly about? I'd say the next thing. Here's what I feel really strongly about. Okay. And it seems like, well, it's a big range. It's actually not a big range. The thing that I'm taking away from all of these calls is, Jeremiah Love, who a lot of people were saying,
Starting point is 00:09:22 well, if he gets to seven, he's not getting to seven. Jeremiah Love the Notre Dame running back is going three, as we just talked about it, the possibility with bidwell ownership, and some other people in the building. If not, I think Tennessee is very much back in play. I think a lot of the noise that started to come out was what, Sunny Stiles, edge rushers.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And listen, I know there are people in the building that want edge rusher. And if Jeremiah Love goes three, I think it could be Sunny Stiles there at four, okay? So it's not like, not everything is misinformation, but the context of it is hard to get because there are people in the organization that may be talking to other people or people who know somebody saying, well, they like, they like Reese. And they do. There are people who do. And they like, and we all do.
Starting point is 00:10:15 And they like Sunny Stiles. And they do. And I think they like them more than other teams because of that Fred Warner position. But I think Jeremiah Love would, my understanding is, could rule the day and understandably so. I think pairing him up with Cam Ward would be the right thing to do. I think Brian Daibald would love a weapon like that. I get the Tony Pollard's there, but as you've referenced, not a lot of carries last year. Let's balance this thing.
Starting point is 00:10:42 As a team, he was fine, but as a team, they just didn't have, everyone loved Tage Spears, but he just does not stay healthy and did not carry enough of a workload. He's more of a number three, I think, than a two. I think the giant's pecking order is this at five. Is this the second thing you feel strong with it? No, no, no, no. This completes the three. Jeremiah Love is three, four, five.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Okay. So we just talked about three, bidwell owners. Yeah. Ownership. Just talked about four. I think that would be the pick. But if he goes three and a lot of people are assuming Jeremiah Love could go three, then they would probably be a styles team.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Okay. And now I'm getting to five. and that's the New York Giants. I understand the pecking order is Jeremiah Love, then Caleb Downs, and they do really like Jordan Tyson, the wide receiver for Arizona State, but more hopeful that that could get done at 10, which I don't think it will. So that's my first thing I'm strongest. What's your next thing?
Starting point is 00:11:42 What's the next thing you love that you really feel good about? Can I get a drink of water? Let me ask you this. So I'll give you a second and take a drink of water really quickly. What's the best landing spot for love out of those three? That's a good question. It's probably five, the Giants, right? Five.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I think their offensive lines are in a little bit better position than the other teams. I agree. They've got four spots that I feel good, really good to really good about. Yeah. And they've got three guys that can figure out right tackle, right guard. They'll figure it out, right? I think they'll figure it out. And you can also, yeah, you can draft someone.
Starting point is 00:12:18 I mean, let's face it, you can draft someone in the same. second round of guard. You can grab, draft someone in the third round of guard. Yeah. This doesn't have to be tackle like a lot of these other things. I agree. That's why I think it's interesting that so many people want to give him one there at five. Now that you're hydrated. Yes, I am. Number two is a simple one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:35 If Sunny Stiles doesn't go four, as we just outlined to you, how that could happen. If Jeremiah Love is not on the board, Sunny Stiles is the likely pick at number four. He goes number seven. That's the interesting one to look at. right. So he's not going five to the Giants. He's not going six to Cleveland. That's an offensive tackle or tradeout team. But I think his floor is actually seven to Washington. That's it. That's it. I love it. I love that you got to know that one. That's great. What's your next one? You get it? The Rams will not sit at 13 and take wide receiver.
Starting point is 00:13:12 It doesn't make sense. Your point makes sense. Now, I put Ty Simpson in there. I get it Most people reading it Are like I get it Here's what I know on this situation I know they've had a lot of interest in day two wide receivers That's less need Sean McVeigh I know that for a fact
Starting point is 00:13:35 And I know that there's second This goes back to like the evaluation part The part that we That's our bread and butter Not all this other TMZ shit that goes on 10 days leading up But everyone's all worked up because I've flopped on Reese for 48 hours.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Scumbags. The football part of me is very clear in the vision that McVeigh and Sneed have at wide receiver. And that's why they can find receivers typically a little bit later. Receivers still is a priority. I mean, Pukinakua, God bless him, and let's hope that everything works out. And this was, he looks back on an important bump in his journey, right? However, there's that mild concern, you know, but even with, even at Puka at his absolute best, they want to bring in another receiver.
Starting point is 00:14:21 The most important part of this is, and I've said this before, but Ajan's stribling, Jeremy Bernard, even at Chris Bell, the blocking's not there, but, but that big, that physical, sturdy, strong, badass will block, will break, tackle, um, contact balance, that kind of wide receiver, is available in the second round. They can get one of those guys. And so why am I using the 13th pick? What makes less a wild card is they're either one of two things. This F them picks 2.0 all in on 2027.
Starting point is 00:15:04 We don't know if McVeigh is going to be here beyond Stafford. This could be their swan song. We're doing a two-year deal. Maybe it's only one-year deal with Matthew. it's not BS. They are. Look how close they were to winning a Super Bowl last year. But there's also an organization to run. And so if it were to be Ty Simpson, this is also what I know for fact. They really like Ty Simpson more than just like they really like Jeremy Bernard and stribling a little bit more maybe than others because of fit. And so, and I know there was a point in time.
Starting point is 00:15:43 where there was maybe communication between the Rams and Ty Simpson's camp. Like, I know for a fact they really like Ty Simpson. Now, what I don't know, and I'm throwing a dart with, is at 13, are they going to take Ty Simpson. But here's the other thing I keep getting from people that I trust, that Simpson's going round one and probably higher than you think. So is that Pittsburgh at 21? I don't think so, but it could be.
Starting point is 00:16:13 is the Rams at 13? I don't know. I don't think it seems crazy. But what I do know is don't expect the Rams and just sit there at 13 and take Mackay Lemon. Right. Do you think they'll move or you think they'll take a different player there?
Starting point is 00:16:27 I think he's a wild card, man. Yeah, it could be anything. I think if he, I think if there's a player, let's say it's Carnell Tate that they really want. I think it's like, yeah, take 27. Take the 2027 second round pick and we'll give you a second this year and go up for him. What if Jeremiah Love, it all shocks us?
Starting point is 00:16:46 That would be something. What if Jeremiah Love gets to five and the Giants are like, yeah, we're enamored with it. But, man, we'd love to have 13 and another pick next year and a second rounder this year or something like that. Right. I'm just saying less is most dangerous when he's not beholden to, I got to get a tackle. You know what I mean? Yeah. I mean, I think all GMs are, but especially,
Starting point is 00:17:12 he's aggressive. And I promise you there are teens sitting at 14, 15, 16 that are like, yo, what's us up to? So that's my number three. Give me one more. I just mentioned 15 and 16. That's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets. I know for a fact.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Strongest on, I probably could have put this at number one, but it's not as interesting as the others. They're getting calls already. And why? Because the biggest bullseye on anyone's back is Detroit offensive tackle at 16. Now. 17. Sorry, 17. So with Tampa Bay at 15, yeah, they need an edge.
Starting point is 00:17:57 They take a tight end. I mean, they need a few things. To that point, they need a few things. And Tampa Bay is sitting there with pick 15, but also picking at 46 and 77. They're chalk, man. It's like one in the first, one in the first, one in the first. They have seven picks. So they're a team with those needs that we've talked about.
Starting point is 00:18:18 They'd like to get a tight end. Someone a little bit more dynamic. But before that, they'd like to get a pass rusher. Then it wouldn't like to. They need a pass rusher. They need a cornerback. They need a linebacker. So how do we address all these needs?
Starting point is 00:18:32 Got to get more picks. Our phone's ringing, right? So watch for Tim. Jets are the same at 16. Yeah, there's a chance they could move up if Cardinal Tate started or something like that. I think they're more likely to trade back. And so the opportunity,
Starting point is 00:18:46 not only that Detroit at 17 has a target on its back, but that's kind of the foundation of all this movement or potential movement. It's that Detroit, then Detroit's not stupid. Detroit knows that there's a target on its back. Brad Holmes is like, don't mess with him in the draft.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Right. So don't be surprised if maybe it's, Maybe it's a flop with Tampa Bay in Detroit. Or maybe it's going up to Fort the Ravens. Like, this is what the Ravens do. This is what Ozzy passed down. It's like generational wealth from Ozzie down to, down to Eric DeCosta. And Eric will sit there and the phone will ring.
Starting point is 00:19:30 And like, yeah, Detroit, okay. Yeah, well, sure, we'll move down two spots and still get Yawane. And if we don't get Yawane, we'll get, um, Another offensive line. No, Sadiq. We'll get Sadiq or we'll get a wide receiver. Or I've heard there's even interest in like a Peter Woods. So just keep an eye on that range of like 14, 15, 16, 17.
Starting point is 00:19:55 And the thing I can't get out of my head and I reflected in this Mach 5.0, Howie Rose. Yeah, there it is. I was going to ask you. Howie Roseman. He's not, anyone who knows Howie, he's not sitting there patiently. Just our pick will come. we'll get our tackle. Take the best one on our board.
Starting point is 00:20:14 There's one they want. And maybe it's Monroe Freeling because of the traits and develop them and have a year. Maybe it's Caden Proctor. Maybe it's Blake Miller. But Freeling just feels like an eagle. Yeah, they did have an offensive line coach change. And I wonder if that's going to change. Stout is gone.
Starting point is 00:20:32 I wonder if it changed their approach. I thought about that multiple times. But those are the four things I'm strongest on. Now, let me flip it on you. Yeah. You get this mock draft last night and appreciate it. I'm texting you for some, like, let's talk some, not research, but like, let's dig into. Does this make sense?
Starting point is 00:20:49 Let's do the best football sense, and it's 11 o'clock and I'm exhausted. So you handle this. I'll handle that. The McShay Show is brought to you by Fanduel. Did you guys know that you can bet on the NFL draft with Fanduel? That's right. You can bet on everything, including which teams will draft which player, over unders on draft positions.
Starting point is 00:21:07 What position a team takes first? and of course, who's going number one overall? Basically, if it's draft related, you can probably bet on it. A couple things I would keep an eye on. All information is going towards David Bailey, Texas Tech, edge rusher at number two. Get in on that before the numbers just start to skyrocket. Also, Ty Simpson's going to be in Pittsburgh for a reason. Whether it's Arizona moving up to get them, the Jets may be surprising us,
Starting point is 00:21:35 taking them a little bit earlier. If I had to bet on it, I would say, Arizona is the team for Ty Simpson and it will be in round one. Okay, so if you want the chance to turn your mock draft into some real cash, Fandual is your place to get in on the action. Just open the Fandual app. You're officially on the clock. 21 plus select states or 18 plus D.C., Kentucky or Wyoming.

Starting point is 00:23:16 I'm going to go with three I like because there are three that I really like. And listen, we hear the Spotify comments. We hear what you guys are saying. All you guys talk about is a top 10 picks. When are we going to get into my team? Let's get in some guys on the back end of this draft. Let's start with the Detroit Lions getting Blake Miller, the tackle from Clemson. And this may surprise some people who have watched the show because I'm not the biggest fan
Starting point is 00:23:37 of Blake Miller in pass protection, but I just think he's such a good fit for this team. He's a glass heater. He's a road grader. He's, you know, a tough guy. I love that the lines have the ability to take a left to a right tackle because even though they lost their left tackle and Taylor Decker, Penn A. Sewell can play anywhere. So they can take the best tackle. They don't have to worry about position fit. Miller would play on the right side. That's where he played in college. Sewell would kick over to left. I think you're getting a day one starter at pick 17 in the draft and a guy that's going to be a great fit in your locker room. I love that.
Starting point is 00:24:07 And I love the, you know, we're here at the draft and you've come to a reasonable spot with some players and it's hard to do that. I'm evolving as a human being. You are. I've actually recognized that. All right, what next? The Houston, Texas, getting T.J. Parker. And I get it. Look, if you're a Texas fan, you're like,
Starting point is 00:24:24 hey, man, we got Will Anderson Jr. He's pretty good. And Daniel Hunter still signs through 2027. I think he had 15 sacks last year. What are we doing here? You're getting a third. Yes. You're getting a third. and you're getting him in a great spot
Starting point is 00:24:36 and I think a player that's been really undervalued by some people because the stats weren't as great last year give me a break. Throw on the tape, go watch them at the senior bowl, look at the workout. This is a player that I really believe when we look back on this draft and we do all these redrafts. He's going to be a guy that we're going to wonder how didn't go in the top 15 picks.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I was looking at it last night too. Yeah, offensive tackles at need, right? And so is guard or however they want to do that. What needs needs do they have, though? They don't. Right. They don't. And so they also, here's the thing that I forgot about last night.
Starting point is 00:25:11 They pick again at 38, bro. So like, you know, whether it's Chase Basantis or Emmanuel Pregnan or Keelan Rutledge, one of those three at least is going to be on the board at 38. And so, yeah, we're, like they brought Pregnon in for a visit, by the way. I like looking at the visits late in the process to see. And then I go back. back to last years. And it's like some teams, like if they bring you in, you ain't being drafted by them. Others, they bring you in, like, you're on the short list. Right. And some, some of them,
Starting point is 00:25:44 you can look at all the positions, like they brought in these four positions, and then they wind up a tag. So, but they brought in Pregnon, probably not going to be drafted by the Texans. So it's probably Basantis or Rutledge. Yeah. But anyway, Nick Casario has earned this right as the GM with the roster he has built to sit back and take the best player available. And for me, that was Parker in that scenario. It was the best player. I think there were a couple of wide receivers that were slightly higher. But they drafted two last year. It was best player available at a position where what can make us better this next year when we're trying to make a Super Bowl run? Yeah. And the draft isn't going to solve quarterback play getting better from from from from
Starting point is 00:26:34 CJ's driving. If there was a guy there, great, but I don't think there is. So what else can we do to support? And support would be another pass rush. So, yeah, that one was intriguing to me. And then they turn right back around the second round and get their guard. You know? Yeah. All right, what was, give me the third one. What about the Seattle Seahawks getting San Diego State corner, Chris Johnson, my guy, through the whole process, really January, but the whole process, my guy. I just love the pick. Look, you can say that, you know, Rieck Wollan's gone, but Josh Job's is still there. And he played well enough, I think, to be in, you know, to the driver's seat of being the starter if their roster doesn't change.
Starting point is 00:27:10 But Job's not a playmaker. He has two picks over the last two years. He had one pick last year. Chris Johnson, we already know he has a very high football IQ. You give him to a guy like Mike McDonald and the things that they can do with that kind of a corner. Opposite Devin Witherspoon, man. You know, Job's been up in, and it's like Frank D. Felice, my old baseball coach. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:27:32 It's been a while, man. Boys, boys. put you up to three in the bat in order, nosebleed. So you wonder, like, now that he had, Job has to be the guy. Right. Does he get, is it a nosebleed situation? So let's protect against that. I've also heard, interestingly enough, don't be shocked if that's a trade end stuke's spot.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Arizona Cardinals. Don't mind that bad. Arizona Wildcat. For Seattle at 32. Here, I'll say this about that, football sense-wise. I do wonder, he's, he is really a nickel. Trade-in-Stooks is a nickel. He's a good-nickle's safety.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Damn good nickel, but isn't that Nickyman-Wore? Isn't he a nickel safety? Yes. So I was going to say, I've heard that. I do believe strongly that John Schneider wants Judarian Price. I don't know that he wants to take him to 32. Right. I think the number one Intel on Seattle is they're going to trade out.
Starting point is 00:28:22 I tried to limit the trades in this because it's frustrating when you read through the, like, a mock draft at the end. It's like all these trades. It's like, what does this even mean, you know? So I tried to not make it messy. and also, to be perfectly blunt, like allow the 32 teams that have a pick, it kind of sucks if you're a Seahawks fan. You go to read a mock draft, and we've got a pick in the first round, and now I don't get one.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Right. So I did that. And also, Chris Johnson, I truly believe we'll go in the first round. I didn't have a perfect spot for him. So I wanted to make sure that he got in there as well. So it's kind of a mixture of different things, but I do think the Judarian price, the Notre Dame running back connection is very much real. Okay, and so it could be at 32, but I think it's more likely trade back.
Starting point is 00:29:08 You look at the history of those last like seven picks in the first round. It's like average of like three to four of them wind up getting moved. Right. So keep an eye out on that. All right, let's do this. What do you got? One wild card or some scenario. Wild card.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Yeah, each. And you started off. My wild card is, I think you have Alder's receivers going in the, we'll say, at 24 to 32, okay? Yeah, the Carnell Tate thing was a lot of shrapnel, and I don't believe for a second he's going to be sitting there at 16. I think the Jets are among a couple of teams that could wind up moving up to get a receiver if Carnell Tate were to fall a little bit. My money would be on that Jordan Tyson's the first receiver to come off the board, but I wouldn't put a lot of. money on it. So I do think
Starting point is 00:30:02 keep an eye on like don't expect when you do these mock drafts you try to put the and then there's one player that starts to fall and I'm like that's fine. Yep. Right? It's not accurate to where I think that's where Carnell Tate
Starting point is 00:30:18 is going to wind up going but every once in a while there's a player or two in the mock first round that catches some shrapnel. Tate caught it here. But the other point I want to make going through this exercise is I felt very comfortable with these receivers
Starting point is 00:30:34 falling and it lines up with the conversation we had like a month month and a half ago where I was like, listen I like all of these receivers. I really like Concepcion and what he can do after the catch and with the ball on his hit. I really like David Boston with the contested catches and you argue that he's a little bit better as a route runner
Starting point is 00:30:53 and Denzel Boston. I'll take David Boston. I'll remember him, yoked up receiver. I won't take the eight of boss. He was an all-time bust is the top 10 big of Arizona. Yes. And Omar Cooper Jr. So, but I think all the, with so many teams looking for offensive tackles, and then some of these, like, there's going to be a safety that goes.
Starting point is 00:31:14 There's going to be a cornerback or two that go. There's going to be a guard or two. So there's, the receivers could wind up coming down to the bottom. I was worried at one point. I'm like, am I going to get these guys off the board? This is what you're stealing my wild card. Oh, sorry. No, no, it's good.
Starting point is 00:31:27 You actually bought me some time because I should have done this before. That was bad prepp on my part. You got six wide receivers going in the first. I'm actually going to take the under there. And it's exactly what you're going into right now. It's these offensive linemen. I think it's an offensive lineman. I think it's an edge. And I think it's starting to be a corner class, too. I think Colton Hood is going to go in the first round. Chris Johnson's going to run first. Some of these corners that we liked is maybe early second round, I think are now sneaking into the first. Keep an eye on the Buffalo Bills. I think they need interior offensive line help. I think one of these guards is going to go. I think you're going
Starting point is 00:31:55 with going to go. And with all those positions, Those three positions I'm talking about, one of these receivers, I think, falls into the second round. I wouldn't surprise me. And you know what? Actually pushed them down so far. And this is another thing. Just go back to my tape and what I believe in. I don't think they're great, but I think they're better players than anyone's giving them credit for. What did I say to you over a month ago about the interior defensive line class? I believe two should go in the first round. Peter Woods and Caden McDonald. And here we are in this final mock draft. And I was not. doing it for that purpose. The intel is, I mean, honestly, I heard Peter Wood, is it like the Ravens if they trade that far enough, could be interested. I heard that Minnesota has interest with Hargrave and Jonathan Allen.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Both, yeah, both gone. I heard the Houston Texans or, Nick's going to sit back, man. Take it. There's an offensive tackle that's great. They're awesome. If there's a defensive tackle, awesome. If there's an edge rush, awesome. You know?
Starting point is 00:32:55 So don't be surprised if one or both of those defensive tackles, go. And so you add those to all the offensive tackles and the edges. Do you see the Caleb Banks thing, too? I saw it on the way in and supposedly his agent's handing out a letter that he's been cleared or will be cleared and ready to go by the summer. I think that's awesome, man. And I think he's
Starting point is 00:33:12 an awesome talent. I think I'm not saying first, but man, he's a second. He's one of the most interesting players in this draft. His range is pretty massive. I'm sure, and yeah, I just know talking to a lot of teams like he's too talented to last too long, but big guys with foot injuries, as we've discussed
Starting point is 00:33:34 ad nauseum here, there's a bad track record for that being reoccurring, right? And so it's availability is the most important ability in the NFL, and you start to worry about, is this going to be like a three, five, six, seven game per year issue? Yeah. Caleb Banks. What's your wild card? What do you got for me? What is my wild card? So much information swimming around that head. Dallas has only traded in the first round, one time going back to 20, in the first, second and third round. 37 opportunities, 37 picks they've had in the draft dating back to 2014.
Starting point is 00:34:14 And DeMarcus Lawrence in 2014. So since that pick, they have not traded up. That was the last time they traded out. Yeah. Okay. So every year we do this, Jerry's going to go lose. is mine. The golf cowboys,
Starting point is 00:34:29 trade up and give, they don't do it. And they actually draft pretty well. However, I don't envision a trade up to three for Dallas. I don't envision any trade that requires them to package 12 and 20 to occur. I do envision, and I saw Schrager did this,
Starting point is 00:34:49 I would never, like maybe we go up to three, I mean, go up to nine with Kansas City Chiefs, if we're Dallas. Dallas, and we just flip-flop the four picks. So you get 12 and 20, Kansas City, because you need, you can afford to get what you're looking for maybe at 12.
Starting point is 00:35:07 We can't, and I'll get to that in a second. But you can also at 20 get your offensive tackle, right? And that's a big thing for Andy. On the flip side, Dallas, Dallas, I've already been told that they're looking to trade back from 20, but they really want to get up a little bit from 12. And why? Because every scenario, it was like a mock draft simulator in my brain in my hotel room last night, texting mensch and all my notes. There wasn't a single scenario in which Mansour Delane and Caleb Downs were still on the board, or one of the two. And so they won an edge rusher and there was talk about them moving up for an edge.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Bain ain't going to be there, and we know that Bailey and Reese aren't going to be there. So now you're saying the three edges gone, the cornerback gone, the safety gone. Yeah, they can sit at 12, and there are some interest in Dylan Theanman, but it really would rather get Caleb Downs or Mansour Delane. And the other thing that I think is not a far-fetched concept is nine. George Pickens right now, there's not a lot of headway. And I didn't quite grasp that until the last like seven, ten days. C.D. Lamb, they drafted when they had wide receivers.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah. And yeah, they can, and then you go back to 29, pick 29, and you can. So I'm just saying there are options there that include Dallas. And I'm not saying it's just Kansas City. What about six? Cleveland. Cleveland wants to move back. I had Cleveland taking Caden Proctor. I don't think they're going to take them at six.
Starting point is 00:36:48 I'm just trying not to create a lot of muddied picture with this mock draft. I think Proctor would be if they trade back a little bit. I look at Caden Proctor as a perfect fit. He's kind of the big guy. They need a left, not a right tackle. Yeah. Don't love it, but it makes sense. So six is a possibility.
Starting point is 00:37:07 Nine is a possibility. The problem is seven is in your division. Five's in your division. Seven's in your division. Ten's in your division. So limited options. All those are NFC East picks. So, yeah, keep an eye on Dallas, even though it's not historically what they have done,
Starting point is 00:37:26 and it's what the media has gone crazy about. A small move up for Dallas could be something that throws a – I wouldn't say it's a monkey wrench into the whole thing, but it could be a little bit of a – Oh, here we go, you know? Are we going to get a 5.1 on the McShay report? Do people need to look for that? What are we thinking?
Starting point is 00:37:46 Putting you on the spot. Do you want it? Do I want it? Yeah. Do the people want it? I think they do. There's a couple things I'm working on. Sorry, Dan.
Starting point is 00:37:57 I've already alerted Dan. I'm not committed to doing one. But there's a couple things that are very easy tweets. We could clean it up right here. What would you change? I want to get more clarity on Arizona. I don't think I'm going to get that with the Jeremiah Love situation. It's kind of annoying.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Okay. If I were to get information that sounds like Arizona it could be dealing, that I'm sticking with Reese there. I do think the one, the one that's, Jeremiah Love, if he doesn't go three, I think could go four. I don't know that he gets there. So then I would give love to, I would give love four. Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:38:34 To Tennessee. Downs five. Oh, read, read it tomorrow. I think there could be some shifting. You still got to work it out. No, I have it worked out, but I also could be so like, yeah, there's a chance of The mock 5.1. There always is.
Starting point is 00:38:50 There always is. Yeah. I mean, why not, right? We're here. Yeah. Yeah. Is that it? That's all you got for the mock?
