Senior bowl practice is just wrapped up.
Three great days here in Mobile, Alabama.
I'm excited for tonight.
We've got some storytelling.
We've got some risers.
We got players who absolutely dominated this week.
We've got some first rounders who decided to practice the entire week.
And you know what else we got?
We got 84 days until the NFL draft and a crew behind us packing up while we're still here working.
Mench, you good?
I'm great, man.
I'm great.
Tucker roll that beat, please.
What do you say, Mench?
What do you say, Mench?
What's going on?
Let's give the people what they want.
A little Mench.
I want story time.
That's what Mench wants.
It's been a fun week at the Senior Bowl.
Not like the most heralded week.
Not the best quarterback group.
Last year I think there was a lot more hooplao,
Jackson Dart, Jalen Milrow,
the two national championship quarterbacks,
Riley Leonard and Will Howard.

Connecticut. This year felt like old school scouting though cold on Tuesday, warmer on Wednesday and
Thursday but cold at night just down there grinding. I mentioned I are down there on the field.
Thank you to Drew Fabianich to Molly to every one of the senior
for the access that we had, which is basically unparalleled,
and really critical to what we're doing here in the show
and also for our scouting.
A lot of really good position groups,
a lot of good wide receivers, a lot of good defensive linemen
and a bunch of other guys that we want to talk about tonight
as we wrap things up.
I want to remind people, I've told you all week,
we're getting ready to make the transition to Netflix on Monday.
Check out at McShay-13, at You Goodmensch.
We'll give you some more details.
how that's going to roll. We promise you we have put a lot of thought into it and we are prepared
for live shows and to figure out how to do the chat. The people in this chat who have been with us
since day one are critical to us and we will not fail you. So stay tuned for all the information
to come with that. And we'll continue our YouTube page as well, the McShea show. So a lot of
exciting stuff. It's all positive, I promise. Today, the first, I mean the first takeaway,
honestly is we're out at practice and Colton Hood from Tennessee couldn't participate but he's
still in town first rounder didn't leave Lee hunter first rounder maybe the best performer of anyone
in the entire game all week long and the combined talent and performance didn't leave
still here you get those three defensive the defensive linemen the edges that have had really good
weeks tj parker from clemson zion yong missouri your guy from michigan
Derek Moore.
Derek Moore.
All here.
All grinding it out today.
Malachi Fields.
Talked to a lot of scouts,
directors today.
The Thursday's a little bit more chill on the sideline,
so you get down there,
you can actually have some good conversations.
And interesting to, I'll share some of that information
as much as I can today on this show as well.
But that was the first takeaway is like,
all these dudes are still here, man.
They made a commitment and they're still here.
And that's exciting to see,
because that hasn't always been.
I remember Mike Green had a great two practices.
See you later last year.
Samar Stewart had like a practice, I think.
Yep, see you.
Agent Poles them.
And that happens every year.
So it was good to see the top guys still here competing on Thursday in Mobile.
Yeah, Caleb Banks was here as well.
Didn't have the best day.
We'll get in all of it.
But he was here and had some moments and still was out there grinding.
So that's kind of the positive and the takeaway.
I do want to share some story time.
You know, when you think story time in this show,
you think Mench and this beard and kind of a pipe,
and I can see him in a smoking jacket and all that.
It's my turn, Tucker.
But one of the interesting parts of talking to scouts
who have been on the road who have all the backgrounds and all of that,
I got pointed in the direction of two guys today.
And I just jot it down.
Quick note.
Tyron Montgomery, John Carroll, wrote down,
check out Hoops' background.
something about LSU.
I didn't know John Carroll,
Tyrone Montgomery, very well, coming into this game.
We were given a heads up by Drew, Fabianich,
the senior, or the executive director of the Senior Bowl,
but had not done his tape,
didn't know a whole lot about him.
And there's a reason for that.
Get this story, you ready?
Montgomery was a star basketball player
growing up in high school in Woodland, Texas.
had every intention of playing college basketball.
In fact, went to LSU, walked on the basketball team, was ready to roll.
COVID hits.
His mom falls ill.
He goes back home, okay?
Woodland, Texas.
So now he's home.
It's COVID.
You can't, like, there's no groups getting together and there's no, you know, playing
basketball with a bunch of guys down the park.
We're all shut down, right?
But his brother's a quarterback.
His brother, Cam, Montgomery, is a quarterback.
And at the time he was at North Greenville.
Marissa's going to get mad at me.
She's a Greenville woman.
North Greenville University just outside of Greenville.
And he's a quarterback there, as I said.
He needs someone to play catch with.
So his brother, Tyron, is catching for him every day.
And his brother's like, got to run some routes for me.
And he's gotten so good after this period of time.
He turns to him, I guess the quote was, like, bro, you
got to do this thing. So, so like fast forward a little bit. They get some tape out there. I don't know.
He goes to John Carroll University, which is up in Ohio. This is a Texas kid who went to LSU to
walk on the basketball team. COVID hits. A couple years later in 20, four years, three,
three and a half years later winds up at John Carroll had never played organized football in
his life. Until his junior year. Junior year.
2024. That's a season ago.
It's wild.
Has a pretty solid season in 2024, but like literally is learning how to play football.
Has a really good season this past year.
And the senior bowl, like scouts, I always tell everyone, if you can play, scouts will
find you. They found him. He's here in Mobile.
And this dude's top five receiver here, and in moments, like, honest to God,
like maybe was the most consistent and best wide receiver at the senior bowl,
especially the first two days.
Yeah, I mean, some haters, this is the, it's haters season, baby.
Some haters are going to come out and say he dropped a couple balls today, and he did.
He dropped a couple balls.
He had an outrageous senior bowl for a guy with that limited experience coming from that level of competition
to go and do what he did this week.
this is like I know it's cheesy.
I don't care. This is what's great
about the senior bowl is these kids who come from
these programs and can just
improve their drafts luck astronomically
because yeah guys had seen them
and they're like this John Carroll kid looks pretty good but we'll
see and then they come out here and ball out. It's awesome.
I don't think there's a chance Tyron Montgomery
gets out of the fifth round.
He played that well. Yeah. And you're looking
at a player who wait, it's been a year
and a half. It's been two years of him playing football.
can he you know can he keep rising Tyler Tyler text me today and say can we get
Tyler Montgomery in a in a Patriots uniform I'm like dude how do you already know
about this kid he's like he's been following along and and my son Tyler was like
want this kid in a Patriots uniform I mean I think there's a lot of NFL
fans all over the national market you know in different markets that are that like
saw what he could do here's the deal don't think that this is some like oh what a what a
good story. If he was a Texas receiver and LSU receiver, if he was from Michigan, Ohio
state, like, the story would have been how well he played. This is not about John Carroll. It's
kind of cool that it's John Carroll. The story makes it cooler, but this guy doesn't matter what
helmet he was wearing this week. This was about he was one of the best players here all week
long. That's an awesome story. I kept thinking again, I kept thinking he was a big school kid
every time I watch them and no. All right, last story for me. Again, this is for me talking to
director today who is like we're just in conversation about a bunch of different
players and he was talking about the Arizona State offensive tackle Max Ihanacho
Ian Hut he a hana chore Ian Achor we'll get it I just did max Ionachor
honestly the pronunciation got on the way over was a problem because some
say it's I and not sure some say it's I and not sure some say
it's Ihanachor.
I think it's Ihanichore.
We'll find out.
I think you're right.
At the end of the day,
Ihanichur is an awesome story.
And I'm talking to this director
who was like, man, have you seen the way he moves?
Like, there's something about his basketball background.
You know the story.
And I actually did know that he was late to football, right?
Here's what I didn't know.
Follow along here.
Ian Achor moves, his family moves from Nigeria to America at the age of 13 years old.
Comes to America, he plays a lot of soccer over in Nigeria and decided to play basketball.
I think he had been introduced to it, but decides to play.
He's not playing organized soccer, but he was a soccer player and he continued to do some of that,
but he played organized basketball.
He's a big dude, obviously.
He's 6.055, so 6.5 and 5 8s of an inch, almost, you know, 6.5 and a half.
325 pounds is what he is now at the Senior Bowl.
But back then, he was like in the 290s playing high school basketball.
And it was so good that he was on the AAU team.
And so it was all basketball for him.
That was his sport.
Okay.
Then in high school, yeah, in high school, so the AAU coach.
and I want to make sure I mention this name.
That's why I paused.
Sorry.
Corey DeSanti was his AAU coach in basketball.
And Corey DeSanti said, man, like, you're a good basketball player,
but look at your frame, like, look in the mirror.
You could play football at a really high level.
So the basketball coach at AAU gets him in touch with, like,
some people in football and then they try to like,
try to get him some exposure.
Some exposure, right?
He winds up getting, he never played high school football,
He goes to East L.A. Community College.
That's where DeSanti got him a connection
at East L.A. Community College to go play football.
Goes there, shows some promise.
The Fresno State Offensive Line Coach.
I hope I wrote it down right.
Fresno State Offensive Line Coach, I actually didn't...
Sega was a...
Sega Tuitelli.
Tootelli.
He's the Fresno State Offensive Line Coach at the time
starts a relationship with I.
macho. I know, this is a rough segment, but the story's great. And then he winds up,
Kenny Dillingham in Arizona State winds up hiring him to be the offensive line coach at
Arizona State. So because of that relationship that he developed with this, this
offensive tackle who didn't really know what he was doing, never played high school
football, one year at community college in East LA, he says, why don't we give him a shot?
I've been recruiting this guy at Fresno, I think there's something there. Dillingham and the
offensive line coach, give him a shot. He comes in, and pretty early, like, 2023, he was forced
into the weeds. Didn't, like, had one year of it. And had this play in six games, start five game,
because they had a rash of injuries. And he winds up hanging in there. It wasn't all pretty.
I'm excited to go back and I want to watch that tape, as you said in the car, see where he was
in 2023 to where he is now. Starts all 14 games, the right tackle, starts to get a hang of it in
2024,
2025, he's on every scouting list and like, you know,
all-American watch lists because he's that talented.
And we watch him here.
And I would argue who's the best offensive tackle in the entire game all week,
even though there was some up and down, yes.
But from a talent standpoint and what he showed in terms of his ability,
I'm not saying he's a first rounder.
There's no chance he gets out of the top 50 picks.
I'm like banked that right now.
I hear you.
I mean, the way he moves at 335 pounds with 34.5-inch arms is different.
The two things that I really liked about him, he was up and down.
I mean, today the oversetting thing showed up again.
You can't jump outside that far and get beat to the inside.
He said hi.
The first thing he did every time was find the offensive line coach and say,
what did you see?
What did I do?
He's like, this is a kid that wants to get better.
So we've got a talented kid that wants to get better, hasn't been at it long.
so you know it kind of understandable some of these technique issues and the other thing
he does not take shit from any order yeah he was as physical as any of the other offensive linemen
here which i really liked because you can be that big graceful athletic offensive tackle but are you
willing to mall and he is he's a tough kid always trade back good to have you back brother
i know you had a busy week but we're good to have you here um jeff
Benzos, Jeremy Godden, our man.
A lot of the usuals and the regulars are here tonight.
We appreciate it.
We know it's a work week.
It's different from our Saturday night show.
But we've had a lot of support throughout the week
and thrilled to have everyone going on the chat.
Let's keep it rolling.
We've got a lot to get to tonight.
I just love those two stories, though.
Amazing.
Yeah.
What's great about football, the journeys that these guys take.
Yes.
Everyone's path is different.
I do want to.
We kind of walked away from the quarterbacks last night,
and I think appropriately so,
after probably giving them a little bit too much attention
but wanted to introduce everyone to the quarterbacks.
I want to get your,
I want to get to Garrett Nussmeyer in a minute.
But of the other quarterbacks,
anyone who stood out to you,
now that we've wrapped up all three practices,
and today, I should share this.
I find Thursday, even though it's not maybe as physical,
but, I mean, especially the first practice,
the national was a little bit more physical, I felt,
But it's still a physical practice.
Everyone's in pads and everyone's going through it.
But there's a lot more precision and condensed areas.
Red zone, two-minute drill.
I feel like you can kind of gleam some things that you don't necessarily gleam from the first two days for the quarterbacks.
And that's always been the case.
And I think we saw some things specifically with some of these quarterbacks in that condensed area in the red zone that stood out positively and or negatively.
So what jumped out to you, whether it's this week, a progression today specifically, about the quarterbacks before we were involved.
I mean, that's a great lead.
And I think that when you looked at Illinois's Luke Altmeier, the way he was in the red zone, it showcased what his strengths are, which is he understands how to read coverage.
He understands where his reads are and he can get the ball out of his hands quickly.
He had a couple throwaways, but you could hear the quarterback coaches yelling, good job, good job, because he understands if it's not there, I'm only going to get into trouble.
If I don't have an ability to run and there's no one there, I'm going to get rid of the ball now because the only bad things will happen if I don't.
I thought he was really good.
I had to look this up because I was telling you about how clutch he was.
And I looked it up before we got into this.
He, he as a three-year starter, had seven games that he won in the last minute or overtime at Illinois.
I think when you look at him, you're not blown away by the physical ability.
But when you see him today, you see him here this week, he's been here for like a day.
And he's killing plays.
He's getting guys lined up.
He looks to be in control of the offense.
He looks to be in control of the huddle.
I'm not sure he'll ever be a starter in the NFL,
but if you're looking for a guy who's going to be a really good backup,
I think Luke Meyer you could do worse.
Now, Tailing Green, I want to get in this really quickly too.
I'm just going to jump it from Arkansas,
who is unbelievably talented.
What you saw today was the Red Zone kind of exposed one of his weaknesses
or revealed one of his weaknesses,
which is he's a slower processor.
So he's holding on to the ball a little bit longer.
He's kind of scrambling.
It's not as clean.
in the red zone and you can see it.
But overall, when you look at the body of work from the three days,
I thought Tailing Green had a really good week.
I think he helped himself.
He's got an intriguing skill set.
Then he comes here.
It doesn't, I never felt like he was swimming in it.
I never felt like he was overwhelmed.
And I thought he got a little bit better each day.
You see that run.
See the run he just took off.
It's unbelievable.
He got better.
Yeah.
He got better each day.
He took to coaching well.
He there was no point in time where I watched him as a pastor and was like, ugh, you know what I mean?
Right.
He's got no chance.
Because there were times last year watching Jalen Milro where I swear to you.
I was like, I don't know.
Like he's so off.
I remember sitting in this convention center on the last day and thinking what just happened with Jalen Milro.
Like I really felt like not to get into hyperbole.
I felt like it couldn't have gone worse for him.
And so to watch Taylan come in and not his.
decorated and but but and obviously a lot bigger longer but didn't have the career at
Alabama people knew about him at Arkansas but it wasn't the same deal there's not a lot of
like fanfare but for scouts it's like I'm interested 6-6 it's 2 30 you get big hands he's mobile
and the thing that I like about it is you saw that one clip taken off and running I maybe I could
count on one hand how many times he did something that was about
his mobility.
Yeah, he didn't, I think that's a great point.
He wasn't here just to show you what he does well, right?
Yeah.
He really bought into, I'm going to try and show them what I can do as a passer.
I mean, I had not even thought about that, but that is true.
I didn't, this was not a lot of running around and making place.
So Saturday, Saturday now you've got to, you've got to contend with somebody who's,
kind of has learned the system and feels comfortable and has gotten better each day.
And then he goes and takes off and runs.
It's like, an oh shit moment.
Like, you know, because that guy.
He didn't do that at Tuesday.
It's chunk yardage that he picks up.
The other thing I'll say about the processing, it's not a, he can't or that's not a strength
of his, no, but it's important.
When you're a mobile quarterback and you can get yourself out of trouble, and that's why
NFL teams love mobility at the quarterback position now more than ever, especially for young
quarterbacks, because you don't have all the answers.
And so when you come in the league, having that mobility gets you,
You're going to get it right, I don't know, 40, 50% of the time.
Whereas, like, you know, you get to Breeze, Manning, Brady, that level, you're like 95,
or whatever, 90 plus, whatever it is.
Yeah.
And so early in your career having that mobility, but the reverse of that, okay, is in high school,
he was always the best athlete on the field, no matter who they were playing and what position you're talking about.
In college, he was almost always the same thing.
So it's kind of like a defensive lineman who's 320 pounds and just barrels over people this whole life.
Well, you get to the NFL and you've got to learn how to now channel all those abilities to play a refined game.
And that's where Taylin's going to be early in his career.
But after watching him this week, honestly, like coming in, I don't, man, I don't, like his tape is just all over the board.
His decision making, it just puts the ball in harm's way so often.
His accuracy is not nearly where it needs to be in the NFL.
I get he's a great athlete, but I just, I don't know.
And I come here and I'm like, there's something there.
I agree.
And in a quarterback class, it's not that strong.
And we all know that Fernando Mendoza is going to be the number one overall picked
to the Las Vegas Raiders, right?
And then we know Ty Simpson, what?
Tucker's Sight.
Yeah.
Ty Simpson and.
I don't like how Tucker's not in my view.
The Combine's got to be my view.
You get to see what's going on.
Ty Simpson is probably going to be somewhere later in the first.
Watch out for the Rams at 11.
And then it's kind of this competition at QB 3, 4, 5.
And you're going to hear a lot about Garrett and Usmeyer,
who will get to a minute.
Two in a minute.
You'll hear something about Carson Beck.
Trinidad Chambliss.
Trinidad Chamblis.
If he's in this draft class, we're still in this.
Limbo.
this limbo area because of his lawsuit against the state of Mississippi,
against the NCAA filed in the state of Mississippi.
Tailing Green helped himself this week,
and it'll be interesting to see where teams land on him.
And I think the interview process and getting to know him,
and, hey, if we work with this guy, is he able, you know,
that's going to be kind of important as we follow along
and talk to people in the league that we're close with.
Does he run?
We've seen a lot of these fast quarterbacks,
run which has been interesting to me you know Jalen Miller didn't run at the
combine yeah I don't think Lamar Jackson did Tyler Shuck did yeah he did but you
mean it will be interesting to see if he takes advantage of that opportunity to
show what he can do there I'll say one thing about Cole Payton who we talked a
lot about early in this week the one I was talking to a an NFL personnel guy
let's call it he kind of everyone's an agreement he had a really good week this
week right he came in he's he's he's he's
He's the small school guy.
How's he going to perform?
Is it too big for him?
Kind of didn't, wasn't faced.
Ripping the ball pretty good.
You know, in the pocket pretty good.
Yeah.
The thing he said, he goes, go back.
Because I haven't watched a ton of tape on him.
I got just enough done to have a feel for who he is.
He said, go get his cut up reel of him running, like short yardage, red zone.
Just to watch his runs.
He's like, that son of a gun is so damn powerful and tough.
He's like, I'm telling you.
Someone smart in the league will draft up that guy late, bring him in, and find a way to utilize him, whether it's a tush-push situation type thing, but like a little bit more, whether it's Wildcat or Goal Line.
Early in his career, he's almost like, I'm not saying he's Tebow, but like how Tebow was so effective in that inverted veer that he ran.
And, Cam Newton, and again, he's not that big.
I know those guys are different, but just to hear a personnel guy say, if you're creative with this young man, there's some stuff there, and then you'd kind of develop him on the back end.
Garrett Nussmeier is the story at quarterback.
And we didn't get a lot into it yesterday.
We did more so on Tuesday.
He got better each day.
I do think it's important to not bury the lead with Nuss, right?
banged up, injury, wasn't able to throw even just, or like wasn't full go and green,
didn't have the green light to even throw or come here and perform until just like a couple
weeks ago.
And so, and as he said, it was a really good interview that he did.
He's like, I got into a lot of bad habits and it's not like I had to retrain myself to
throw, but I had to retrain myself like reps-wise to throw the right way, utilizing core,
lower body, hip rotation.
I legitimately had to go out
because he was compensating.
You could see, I told you that old mist tape
was tragic. And there were games
this year where it's like he's
flinging, he's not using
the same mechanics, ball's not
jumping off his hand. So to see
him here this week,
and I thought he looked pretty good on the first day,
second day I thought he looked
really good. Today I thought
he was in really the last
two days.
so clearly the best quarterback, but it's not because of his size.
It's not because of his elite arm.
It's not because of his mobility.
It's the way his feel for the game.
We talked about it because, again, we had a tremendous field access.
We're standing right behind him.
We're seeing what he's seeing it.
I said to you a couple times, I was like, man, I never would have seen that.
I just, and he was and getting through it, finding guys, about to get hit, letting go of the ball.
It blew me away.
That was my biggest takeaway from him is I thought he saw the field well anyways, but I was impressed.
I mean, everyone wants to see a quarterback go with McVeigh, right?
Mike McDaniel would be an interesting scheme for him.
You know, I think that there are some systems.
Stefanik?
Yep.
Not sure.
Kevin Stefanskyy.
Sorry.
Yep.
Yeah.
There are some systems, some teams with offensive.
that will fit him better.
And I think for those teams, it's going to be interesting because he was considered by most people in the league as the first rounder coming in the year.
I don't think he's that.
I think he's a second rounder.
And I think this week, and I'm not here to grade off of rounds.
I'm here to grade like what can he be?
When you draft a quarterback on day two, especially the second round, you're drafting him with the hopes he becomes a starter.
But worst case is going to be a really good backup for you for a long time.
And there's not this rush to start him right away.
That was Tyler Shuck last year, right?
Pick 40 overall.
And it worked out beautifully for the Saints.
But there were his age and the durability stuff.
And for as long as he played ball,
like how many great starts has he had against the top company?
There were a lot of question marks.
So you don't take that guy in round one necessarily,
even though he was like Elite 11 with Trevor Lawrence.
and he was like one of the guys and the talents there.
So I think Nussmeyer's probably looking at a second round departure from the board.
I think that's fair.
I think worst case, it would be third.
But in this quarterback class with Dante Moore coming back and Arch obviously going back
and Lenora Sellers going back, there's just not a lot of depth to QB this year.
And so I think there's going to be some teams that are ready to pull the trigger maybe a little bit earlier.
and I'm not saying that that will be why Nussmeyer goes out early.
But this is a big week for him because I think everyone forgets
because he didn't show any signs of injury what he is coming off of
and the season he came off of at LSU and the disappointment.
I talked to several scouts who were really excited and I've tried to follow up.
I'll get some answers like they wanted answers.
Just like they wanted some answers from the Penn State players and the Clemson players.
They wanted it like they know it wasn't all hit Nussmeyer's fault.
What happened?
What was the injury?
Like, how severe was it?
When did it start?
How did this team get lost?
You know?
Yeah.
And so that'll be interesting to see how that plays out.
But I was blown away by his instincts for the game.
The way he sees the field.
He is not, you know, like athletically, you look at him, you're kind of like duct-toed.
It's not that bad.
But, like, honestly, you look at him.
You're like, that doesn't look like an NFL.
athlete per se, but there's a most of the guy. I mean, Patrick Mahomes, you look at him now.
He doesn't look, you know. Right. But you see him out there operating his craft and he does it at such a high level.
I gained an appreciation for the way he plays the game and clearly he's been around ball this whole life with his father playing in the NFL and offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for a large portion of his pro career.
All right. I'm sure everyone's already screaming about stop talking about quarterbacks.
Not really.
I like everyone.
We got this chat going now.
We're rocking and rolling.
All right.
Let's go.
Anyone else?
You got on the quarterbacks?
I think I'm good there.
I know you always are.
All right, standouts.
I do want to mention these guys off the top, okay?
And I also want to mention having a blast with the newsletter this week.
It's the McShay report.
If you aren't subscribed already, please Google it.
Subscribe.
That's the easiest way to get it.
But poor man, Dan.
I think he goes to bed at like six in the morning every night.
It's been grinding.
We're all working hard, but we, you know, dinner's over, call it a night.
He's back there somewhere.
He's no idea.
But he works all night on this thing.
Pulling up together.
We send videos throughout the day of practice.
We've got all these gifts.
We got Michael and Nick are doing an awesome job with all of our video.
Like we're compiling all of this stuff for these shows.
Of course, tough.
for the rest of the show, Tucker doesn't need it.
Tucker's the favorite of everyone in the chat.
But yes, Tucker's here.
When we all leave here, Tucker stays and makes sure everyone gets everything that they want
and it looks as beautiful as he can make these two clowns.
So my point is the newsletter's got a lot of detailed stuff in it,
and we spent a lot of time today after the first practice talking about a few guys.
But I can't do this show without mentioning the fact that it's not Lois and Clark,
it's the Lewis and Clark show.
Right.
Like, honest to God, there are not two players at the Senior Bowl who made more money than Lewis and Clark, right?
And when I look at Kyle Lewis at Pittsburgh linebacker, at that linebacker spot, and I look at Bud Clark, the TCU safety, honestly, the first thing that jumps out is they're just so instinctive.
Every single drill.
Quarter count earlier than everybody else.
know where their eyes should be.
You talked at nauseam yesterday about Lewis,
and I talked at nauseam about Clark.
Then they come out today.
I'm literally talking to a...
They were better today.
They were better today.
They were like, watch this.
I'm talking to a director,
and we're...
It's like the Lewis and Clark show,
and back and forth about these two guys.
Their interviews, they killed it.
They did everything right this week.
And as we're talking,
Lewis goes up.
Interception.
Clark three minutes later
Interception and team
It was pretty wild to see guys that just
Yeah
There's a lot more information that I provide in the newsletter
A lot of quotes and different things to break it down
And kind of contextualize
What they did this week
But those two stood out
And then another guy Bryson
Yes Tennessee defensive
Remember Omar Norman Lott last year
I was bullish on
on Norman Lott.
Had to have him in the top of 100.
He snuck in, thankfully.
He was here last year, yeah.
Here last year, and I just saw something in him.
And I know Mench has seen something in this Easton guy.
And I saw yesterday a little bit and even more so today.
And the people I'm talking to in the league interviews off the charts, loves ball, six-year
player there, apparently, got better every year.
There's just a lot of good things about Easton.
And like I said, the interviews were those three.
guys, Lewis, Clark and Easton, everyone I talked to, those guys just killed it because they love ball.
They, like, they live it.
Yeah, I was fired up to hear about the interview for, for Easton, because I think he's been really good this week.
He's a one technique.
He's quick off the ball.
He's powerful.
He's not the biggest guy, and you can move him a little bit if you get into him.
Yeah.
Yeah, but he's long and he can get off blocks.
I really like him.
He had a couple really good passports today.
I want to say this quickly about Kyle Lewis.
They were breaking down to one-on-ones today.
You're down with the, you were in the trenches.
You were checking out the big guys.
I was watching running backs versus linebackers.
Kyle Lewis goes up against Adam Randall, the running back from Clemson, who's a former
wide receiver in a pretty good route runner and has a great rep, just stays in his back pocket.
And then all of a sudden I hear all the guys, the receivers and tight ends are down in the red zone.
And I hear all this barking back forth.
I'm like, oh, I've got to go check that out.
As I'm walking down to the receivers, Kyle Lewis runs by me with the defensive back coach trailing him.
screaming about the pick six.
So I don't even know what Kyle Lewis did, but I know he got somebody.
I know he jumped somebody and made a play.
But that's how it was today.
It seemed like you looked down.
Yeah.
And it was like, who was that?
That was Bud Clark.
Oh, that was Kyle Lewis.
Like one thing after another, Kyle Lewis had a big hit that separated the receiver from
the ball, completely clean.
It was just boom, boom, boom.
It seemed like there was a 10-minute stretch of practice where they were trying to one-up each other.
Was that crazy?
And we kind of knew about Lewis coming in.
We're going to be honest.
But I feel like Clark, I told you yesterday, I'm watching drills the first day,
and he and this coach have this rapport, and he's pushing Clark.
The defensive back coach is pushing Clark a little bit more than the other guys
because he feels like he sees something in him, and then he's responding.
And the coaches, like, they love when you're a sponge.
And then I see some of the movement skills.
I see the range.
And I was like, this guy can play.
And then he got better every day.
I think those are two guys that don't get out of the second day of the draft.
Truly.
They'll be on our 50.
They'll be on our 50 best players.
Yes.
When we come out with our 50 best football players, regardless of the measurables, the character, the durability, and all that other stuff.
Mark it down.
That's happening.
These are two of the best football players, and they clearly stood out as like two of the five, six, seven best football players here.
Yeah.
Pretty wild.
Pretty good.
I love this stuff, man.
All right, give me two other guys that you thought were standouts.
I'm going to go with an interior offensive lineman.
Perfect.
That's great for TV.
You know, the middle of America, the heartland of America, the like smaller center.
Yeah.
Sam Hecht, 297 pounds, which isn't that small, by the way.
I kept hearing about how small Sam Hecht was.
I'm like, 297 pounds, that's a decent size for a center.
But 32-inch arms, which is not ideal.
That is shorter.
What's he doing?
He's so technically sound.
and competitive and moves well.
And that's really what you need, man.
He's not going to blow you away with all these pancakes and power
and all this athletic ability.
But what he's going to do, he's going to get set,
he's going to get his hands inside, he's going to move his feet,
and he's going to stay in front of you in pass protection.
And he's going to do the same damn thing in the run game.
And he did it consistently over and over and over the last three days.
And there was times, yes, again, haters, I'm sure you're going to point out some reps
that he didn't win.
overall Sam Hacked had a great week and I came in thinking I didn't really love this center class
and I don't know I listen I don't know where he's going to get drafted right now but I will tell you
this I could see him developing into a starting center early on his career who else you got
I'm going to go with Gabe Yacchus on the other side with on the national team the Illinois
edge another guy with shorter arms doesn't really fit the mold of what you're looking for in the edge
a little shorter you know some shorter arms but I'll tell you about that tell you this about him
11 sacks this year, eight sacks the year before.
He's got more power in his hands than I thought.
Here's the thing I love about him is the hands.
It's hands and effort.
Yeah.
And tracking the quarterback.
Another thing that I think is underrated about pass rushers.
He is watching these quarterbacks, though.
He knows how to, when a quarterback starts to step up, he knows how to work inside.
He's coordinated in that way.
The quarterback tries to come back outside.
He's going to work back outside.
And the motor to match that.
Yeah.
Not just that I can do this, but I'm going to keep working.
You go, if I go inside, I saw it today with Nussmire.
He went inside of one snap, Nussmiter went outside of him,
and instead of like trying to fight back around,
he worked back across the tackles face and got outside.
Effort, hands, power.
He's kind of an underrated edge, I think, right now.
This edge class, if you're subscribing to the McShay report,
thank you.
If not, let's go.
I did a breakdown last night,
Because I feel like as the Senior Bowl progresses,
I did this for wide receivers and edge for the newsletter last night.
You start to, even though a lot of these guys maybe aren't here,
but then now you start, it's like a jigsaw puzzle, right?
You start to put pieces like, oh yeah, he belongs in this tier, right?
So I was going through the edges last night.
Top 15, potentially top 15 picks, I think, are David Bailey, Texas Tech.
Bain had some really good conversations about Bain and Messador today,
the Miami guys.
Yeah, just love, love them.
Eating lunches.
Yeah, some offensive tackles that were here, they just ate their lunch.
Then after that, I think it's,
Keldrick Falk is your big, physical, long,
one of the youngest prospects in the class coming out of Auburn and has tools.
And then you get Cassius Howell who exploded on the scene this year for Texas A&M,
undersized, but just like a, I'd,
menace as a pass rusher. And then you've got R. Mason Thomas, who I think is one of the
most underrated prospects in the country. I can't wait for him to get healthy, work out of the
Combine, don't care what he does. You want to talk about guys in the top 50 list? He's there.
And it might not be past like 15. R. Mason Thomas is an absolute dude. T.J. Parker now,
watching him this week. Two other guys that were here this week. Derek Moore,
I think was probably the most consistent of all these guys. And I think you would agree.
talked about that. Zion Young, the flashes are so brilliant that he's an absolute lunatic.
Like, from the way he fires out of his stance to the way he gets into guys' pads, to the motor,
to the effort. He just plays the game with, like, what I would, as a general manager,
I yearn for that as a pass rusher, the way he plays, right? So you got all those guys,
but that doesn't even include Gabe Yacchis, you know, from Illinois. And there are some other
guys.
L.T. Overton, who didn't, had a little bit of a disappointing season.
Didn't really pop here, but he's got some good tape.
He's an intriguing skill set.
So, yeah, I mean, there's just, there's a lot of guys.
Davey's Hutchins from Boston College Flash a little bit.
He did.
And he will back down to nobody.
But as I said, I think there were nine guys, if you included Jalen Walker last year, which we all did.
Nine edges that were drafted in the first two round, I think six in the third.
That's three, four, five, six, seven.
That's nine right there.
Yeah.
All of those guys belong in the first two rounds.
All of them.
Yeah.
So this year's class, while it's not as, there's no Abdul Carter.
But David Bailey's nothing to sneeze at.
No.
The depth is similar, and we're seeing it continue to kind of grow.
And I'll be interested to see when we get to the combine and the workouts, how that goes.
So that was intriguing.
So those are your standouts.
I got two guys that stood out today and parts of yesterday,
and I feel like I didn't get to talk about either of them.
I don't want to say that they were the best players today
or they had these monster days,
but they deserve some love
because there's some intriguing traits that I saw.
One of them, I don't even think we talked about,
but the first one we did,
and that's Tanner Koziel,
tight end from Houston.
I actually, our guy Pete Suisse, as a show,
I told you down in the Big 12 in the early in the season,
he wanted me to come on.
Inside the Big 12 on HBO?
Yeah, on HBO.
So, and shout out to Seuss.
You're doing a phenomenal job covering basketball games, football games, ESPN, all of it.
So we played in college with him.
I should probably give you some backdrop.
We worked with them too.
Yeah, we worked with them too.
But Cozial, I was kind of introduced to him because he asked me, he's like, you know,
who were the Big 12 prospects?
And so I was talking to some people.
And Cozial was one that's very intriguing, but he hadn't been in the Big 12.
He was coming into the Big 12.
Cozyall is a monster.
Six and a half, but only 245 pounds still growing into that frame.
These long 34 plus inch arms, right?
And you can see.
Today I saw him utilize that going up and headtopping a guy.
I don't know if we have that clip or not, but we do.
We have that clip.
You and Tucker are best friends, and you get to look at him during the show, and I don't.
But Cozyol goes up and head tops a guy, and we saw some of that throughout the week.
here we go.
Yep, that's one where you catch and go into the end zone.
But there was a lot of plays that he made throughout the week.
And today, specifically, who was the throw?
Who made the throw?
Was it, was it Sawyer-Rober?
It might have been, oh, there it is.
Was it Cole Payton?
Cole Payton made the throw.
And I'm standing behind Cole Payton, and the ball goes up,
and I'm like, he threw it away.
Yeah.
You know?
And all of a sudden, this six and a half.
guy with 34, it goes in elevations, you just saw the catch on the show. It was pretty cool to watch
because this is a guy that spent three years at Ball State and was really productive there,
but like not really on the national radar. 163 catches, though, for over 1,500 yards and 18
touchdowns during the three years at Ball State. Then he transfers to Wisconsin in the spring of
2025. I don't know the story, we'll find out, but then somehow winds up at Houston
and has a monster year for Houston
and winds up at the senior bowl
with all these other really good tight end.
So it's cool to watch him,
and it's also cool to know
there's a lot more in the tank for this guy,
and I think we're, you, this is your class.
Yeah, it's tight end group.
You're like, it's the golden air of tight end.
It's a golden age of tight end.
We get it.
You are taking as many as you possibly can at this point, though.
Well, I've got to stake some claim
because we all know that Roush is the best,
oatmeal eating tight end in the business.
He had a great block and goal line today.
Did he drop a pass this week?
I don't know.
I mean, I don't want to think.
Let's not pretend that he's perfect.
Did you see him drop a pass?
Let's not put those expectations on him.
I did not see him drop a pass now.
He runs a little funny.
I do like that about him.
So weird.
I'm going to talk about another 10 in a minute.
Who's your other guy though?
I don't know who's the guy we didn't talk about.
But we got it on Cozy, y'all.
And I do think at some point.
If he fills out that frame,
He's a little lean, right?
I know.
But the frame, like the frame is there.
He can put on weight.
Here's another guy that we haven't talked about all week long, but I...
I jotted down notes throughout the week,
and then I was watching him closely today.
The buildup.
Let's go.
Cyrus Allen from Cincinnati.
Oh.
I'm not saying he's Tank Dell,
but there were some things with his release.
Remember Tank Dell coming out of Houston?
Had that monster rookie year.
CJ's like go-to guy
Stroud's go-to guy
Honestly he hasn't been the same
CJ Strouds since Tank Dell
Got hurt yeah got injured and
I'm not saying that's why I'm just saying
I saw a little bit of that
I don't know tank Dell was a burner on top of
I don't know
You love Tankdale
Oh my gosh I love tanked I love slot receivers
I love Nichols
But this guy's another one and I talked yesterday
About about a few slots
We got Missouri we got LSU
we got
we got, um,
what was the other?
There was another one.
Really?
Oh,
no,
no, South Alabama.
All day.
Five,
yeah,
five.
Every time he makes a play,
I get this.
And I mean,
it was not five stars
for anyone who follows the show.
It was not five stars.
It was 65,
catch.
It was like,
it got a little annoying.
It didn't get a little annoying.
It got a little,
like,
not him.
Him making plays was great.
Vost.
Yes,
I was looking to,
but he is out.
Absolutely, at 509, 782 pounds, Vosin is a slot.
And Barian Brown at 510, just under 511, 176 pounds is a slot.
The Missouri guy, Kevin Coleman, 510, 174 pounds, slot.
So in this class where we have all these big receivers, right?
And I talked about what we did last night on the newsletter.
And the newsletter I broke down some of the tiers there for the wide receivers.
Carnell Tate, bigger receiver.
Mackay Lemon, not, but he can be kind of a Z.
can do a little bit of everything.
Jordan Tyson, bigger physical receiver.
Denzel Boston, big dude, classic X.
Casey Concepcion is a slot.
But he's going to be in the first, if not,
he's top 40 pick.
Chris Brazel the second, CB2, my guy from Tennessee.
He's a bigger X.
Malachi Fields, we've talked a lot about him.
He's been the best receiver, one of the best players.
Sorry, as I'm spitting, I get so excited.
Malachi Fields had a monster week this week.
And I think, honestly, I've been shocked if he gets out of the top 50.
Shocked.
Maybe like creeping around the late first round.
He's that good.
But then you've got some of these slots who I think are going to be in day two,
like Antonio Williams, Jeremy Bernard, Zachariah Branch, Dionne Burks.
Then there's going to be this other tier.
All those guys, by the way, we're talking the first two rounds.
Right.
Tate, Lemon, Tyson, Boston.
Remember in August we said we're not sure about this receiver class?
Boy, were we wrong.
The quarterbacks are awesome.
They sucked.
The receivers are awesome.
Concepcion, Brazel, Fields, Williams, Bernard, Bell from Louisville, Branch, Berks.
And then we got a whole host of guys that now we're talking third, fourth, fifth, right?
With intriguing skill set.
So back to Cyrus Allen.
5-11, 180 pounds.
I watched him, and interestingly enough,
Tank Dell was at Houston, right, before he transferred to,
I mean, he was at Louisiana Tech before he transferred to Houston.
Yeah.
Well, Cyrus Allen transferred from Louisiana Tech,
where he had 68 catches in two seasons, freshman sophomore,
junior year went to Texas A&M, only had 18 catches.
Didn't work out there.
Transfers again, he's the modern-day athlete.
NIL, transfer portal, gets to Cincinnati, has 61 catches,
51 or 61, 51 for 674 and 13 touchdowns this year.
If you get a chance, watch this guy's quickness.
It's off the line.
They're quick release.
And then it's, and then in and out of break, setting it up.
You know, there's something there.
Now, yes, he's a slot.
Yes, he's not that big.
I'm not saying he's going to be, but he's got a chance to be an impact player in the league.
And I wanted to mention his name because he did a lot of really good things.
And then he had today, he had this catch in the end zone where he goes up and it's like, you know, like him.
You like all small receivers.
Yeah, I like big ones too.
I guess, I guess.
All right.
Last thing.
Nudge guy.
Menches Nudge guys.
It's become my favorite segment.
And there's so many different ways you can nudge.
You can nudge like, who's that coming off the bus?
You can nudge like, do you see that point?
Is this guy better than we thought?
But you can nudge like, see something here.
Just give me your nudge guy.
I'm going with Justin Jolly, North Carolina State Tight End.
I think we could have talked about him as a nudge guy coming off the bus after.
What's his measurables?
He is.
What are his measurables?
He is 6-3, 251 pounds.
I actually thought he was going to be lighter.
251 pounds, I think is a good number for him with 10.5 inch arms and 33 and 1-8 inch arms.
I hadn't seen a lot of my
I shouldn't say that I'd watched him
and seen him in a couple of snaps
here and there and then I'm watching him today
in the red zone and he's got
he's got to rep against the Penn State Safety Wheatley
and talk about getting off the ball
talk about getting off the line
and winning with your release
tight ends just aren't twitchy
like they just don't have that
that ability to shake guys
in short areas
he does I mean he got open
so fast
It was, I mean, it was just one of those things
I'm not used to seeing a human being that big
be able to move like that.
When you look at his stats this year,
he was kind of more of a down year,
10 yards per catch, but two years ago,
he had 15 yards per catch.
He can run.
He's a guy that can make plays after the catch.
He can make plays down the seam.
He's someone, I think,
who's going to be probably more productive
in the pros than he was in college.
And he had pretty good numbers in college.
I like, yeah, this class is good.
It's golden air of tight ends.
I think Jolly's so good that you'll be calling him your guy in two weeks.
No.
Tucker like that.
Maybe I don't want Tucker behind the camera.
You saw Sean Mannion, right?
Everyone's talking about the chat.
Sean Mannion with the Eagles.
Oh, okay.
I remember scouting Sean Mannion.
Man, he couldn't move, but he could throw the ball.
He could sling it.
New O.C.
the total pivot here.
Yeah, what's going on right now?
I don't know, but it's fascinating to me.
Like, not what I expect.
For the Philadelphia Eagles.
And you think about where they were
offensively this past year, and you're like,
I don't know.
What do you?
I don't know where I want to go with this,
but it is fascinating.
And I'd heard it when we were on the practice field today,
but now I'm looking.
He played at Oregon State, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, big arm.
Yeah, yeah.
Big, like, he didn't like his tape.
But he's only spent two years in the NFL.
He joined the Packers' coach and staff as an offensive assistant in 2024
promoted a quarterback coach just past season.
It's fascinating.
I don't know.
I never know what's doing when you curveballing.
I know.
I know, but like this is an offense.
I don't have any understanding what kind of offense.
They must see something.
Yeah, they must see something that.
What's the connection?
Yeah, I don't know.
I just wanted to bring it up.
All right.
I'd love to get a true Eagles fans' reaction to that.
I can't imagine they're thrilled when you think about some of the names that have been talked about, right?
And like established, creative, right?
Yeah.
And that doesn't mean he's not going to do a great job.
Very clearly, like, Howie's not a, how he's no dummy.
How, like, and people saw, some people saw in how he, the rest of the league, he's not a football guy.
He's not the, me, this one will be kind of like I said, with a,
Sean Payton.
I was like, he took a second round quarterback in the first, didn't need to do it.
Well, this year he took a third round running back in the second,
and a fourth round wide receiver in the third,
and we love those picks.
And they went to the ABC championship game.
But he was all in on Bo Nix.
This one, I mean, very different situation,
but this feels like maybe I know something the rest of the league doesn't,
and I'm going to get out ahead on this guy before he becomes something.
You know, I don't know.
It's fascinating.
All right, moving on.
My nudge guy, I got three.
Berrien Brown is another slot receiver that I just,
and I know I mentioned him yesterday,
but my gosh, he just keeps.
Did you see the back shoulder, him and Nussmeyer?
I put it on at McShay 13.
Check it out on X.
And threads.
McShay 13.
The timing, obviously, between those two, they have a built-it,
but his, how quick he's been in and out of breaks,
I feel like those LSU receivers were very disappointing this year.
The LSU offense was disappointed.
They didn't have a run game.
They couldn't protect.
So, like, yeah, there was never a rhythm to it.
So it's good to see a player come out of that where it's like, yo, I can still burn.
Right.
And he was, after the first day, he was the fastest player, the entire senior, senior bowl, on the miles per hour on the zebra technology.
Well, after two days, today they put up the overall board.
And he's not the biggest guy.
So normally the smaller guys aren't the...
Oh, he's a smaller receiver?
Yeah, he's a slot receiver I just mentioned.
Okay.
Those guys, like, you want me to list all the slot receivers?
I think you already did.
I mean, I'm pretty sure you like.
A Monra?
Is he okay for you?
Barrean Brown's a guy, I'm telling you, watching him this week.
I think, as much as I like the Cincinnati kid,
I think that this guy's got a chance to be a real surprise.
And I just told you all those names in the squad receiver group.
There are some actual, like, NFL, number three, number four,
guys that I think are going to wind up coming off the board in like the fourth fifth round.
I think this is going to be like the biggest surprise coming into the scouting year prior to the
season is going to be how deep and how talented this wide receiver group is.
And Barry and Brown's another one to keep in mind.
I hear you on that.
Two other guys.
And I actually didn't.
The second guy on my my nudge list, we kind of had a nudge today watching him in R.B drills,
the running back drills.
and we haven't talked about him a lot,
but I do feel like he's gotten a lot of exposure
in the weeks leading up too,
and they're in this week.
Mike Washington from Arkansas.
He's got sweet feet for a big back.
Second fastest miles per hour of every player.
That's corners.
That's receivers.
And he's not just a back.
He's six foot and a half, 228 pounds.
Those long 34-inch arms
that he utilized a couple times catching the ball
and contested situations this week.
He's a guy that...
I expected power and I expected speed.
I didn't expect the feet to be that good.
Yeah.
The feet are good.
Quicker, like laterally and lighter on his feet than I thought.
So there's that.
And then there's...
And then this one's not even a nudge.
I told you there were some matchups that were...
Like, he is tall, he is long, he is fast.
I told you during the season he was going to run fast
because, like, you can see it on tape,
but then I had a scout...
or someone I talked to said, no, he's like legit fast.
And I'm like, really?
He's a bigger corner.
I don't envision him running in the four threes.
Right.
He's not going to run the four threes.
But apparently he might, because Davis and Igbenoson,
at 6 to 192 pounds, was the fastest player through two days at the senior ball
and the zebra technology.
That's play speed, right?
And yes, it's not equal.
like some guys get to run 30 straight yards build up ahead of steam and so like obviously so i'm not
saying just because you're not on this list of the top three guys doesn't mean there aren't faster
guys but when you hit 20 miles an hour and when you're ignoresan you hit 21.12 and this like that's
different yeah so that's a little nudge for you just a little nudge with three guys a little
nudge what's going on the chat we got three minutes left do you want to talk about you know what
I feel like we should save this.
Do you want to talk about Caleb Banks?
Or you want to save it for one of the next shows?
Give the folks 30 seconds on Caleb Banks.
He was a little frustrating to you today.
Yeah, I don't want to go negative here.
He was...
However...
Yeah, however, we did...
He went to one-on-ones, and I thought he had three...
Two dominant reps and another really good rep.
And then I thought he had arrived.
He had arrived on Wednesday and played better.
And then today, it was really showing up.
And then I thought his next period during team was terrible.
I thought he was on the ground twice.
He was playing high.
He wasn't like, and he was just talking nonstop.
And I don't mind that if you're backing it up.
But if you're not always backing it up and you're that talented, I don't know.
It just is whatever.
Maybe an old man.
That doesn't matter.
It doesn't really matter.
What does matter is playing high and getting on the ground in a run period.
Like you can't do it.
It was just too up and down for me.
Now, he's still an elite talent in terms of the physical tools.
but I'm wondering how...
I said yesterday.
I think it should be really important where he goes.
I wonder how certain teams are going to view him.
I bet he is...
He's one of those players that could be very different spots on different boards.
Oh, yes.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
Yep.
Some teams will value him a lot more than other teams.
And it's not because of fit.
He is a big guy, but he can play anywhere along the defensive line, really.
That's his athletic profile.
He's going to play inside.
But he could play any defensive tackle position you want him to be.
play. Yeah. So it's not because of that. Its teams are going to look at him and view him differently.
And I, again, I think it's going to be really important. He gets with a veteran defensive line room where
they like, 100%, you know, from a technique, from the, like, I don't want to say mature, but just like,
like, pro. I think it's okay. Why is it not okay to say maturity? I mean, when I was in this kid's age,
I was not mature. Like, it's okay for him not to be a full blown man right now. You know,
what I mean? He doesn't have to have it all figured out. I don't think that has to be a big knock,
but you're right. I think he's going to need some help in that area. It's time to go. I set the
timer. I'm a man of my word. I do want to mention that Jeremy Goddn said that it's very clear that I
stressed you out. And Gordon, I promise you that that might be the most accurate thing you've
ever said, and I will never stop stressing this man out. We should do an Instagram live of you
drag. Have you guys watched us on Instagram live? It is such a disaster.
Today I find out after we were so proud of it I found out after I was doing it sideways
So then we had to do it we had to run it back on the run the car ride and you can barely see mention the back
It looks like he's creeping behind me
I don't I think I'm I think it's gonna be my new thing I think I'm just gonna start breaking out IG lives whenever you and I
Are around each other and maybe just like just over the summer
I might call you all the time and put you on like FaceTime in the back and be like
I kind of like it thank you everyone for being here
It's been it's been an awesome week
week. And I appreciate the support. I know this wasn't the biggest, like, the biggest name
Senior Bowl in terms of like, you know, the guys I mentioned from a year ago, but every single
year you wind up seeing a big chunk of the starters in the NFL come from this game.
And this kind of allowed us this year more than I can remember. And along since we were
young scouts in this business, the ability to actually, like, roll up the sleeves and dive in.
and I feel like we got to uncover a lot of good players.
I'm excited to get back and watch the tape.
I'm excited for Netflix on Monday.
I'm excited for the McShay report, which is almost written.
So Dan might get some sleep tonight.
We'll feed him and we'll get some sleep.
Hopefully we can get Tucker out.
I don't think Michael and Nick want to hang out with us tonight.
I think they want to get to New Orleans, understandably.
But hopefully they get a safe arrival.
But thank you, everyone, for joining, being with us,
Mench, the entire week, not just tonight.
Five stars, brother.
Thanks, man.
