But today is about the mock draft, okay?

The first segment I want to do with you today, Munch, the top 10 dominoes, okay? I want to reveal the top 10 here organically. It's not about reading the picks consecutively. We'll show you if you're watching on Netflix, and we appreciate you watching there. And also on Spotify, if you're listening on Apple, or wherever else you get your podcast, we also appreciate it. But we're going to reveal them in a little bit.

But I want to play a little game of Domino's here, okay? If the Jets pick, no, and I mention this in the top, if the Jets offer picks 5, 11, and 16, where they're picking in this mock draft, and don't kill me for the draft order. If the Jets were to offer Miami picks 5, 11, and 16, should Miami take that hall or take Archmanning? What an incredible question.

I mean, just an incredible question, because there's so many factors here. And the first is that when you're talking about those three picks, the kind of players that you could get with those picks and this draft with the talent at the top is insane. I mean, it's insane. But here's what it comes down to me for me, is you cannot potentially have your fifth best option at quarterback. What if four quarterbacks go on the first four picks?

I like a lot of these guys. But the Jets would have to feel, I mean, Miami would have to feel like any of the top five would be fine by them. And I just don't see it. And in that being the case, you stick at one. And in this case, it would be arch. Yeah. It's tough because let's start with the trick. trade value chart, right? You can call it dated. You can call it whatever you want. Teams still try to

use that as a baseline. There's an additive for a quarterback, certainly for moving up to that number one overall pick in a quarterback rich draft. It would depend on where we are, where we've landed with the grades and everything else. But from the trade value chart, it's 3,900 points versus 3,000 points for that first pick. Okay. It's significant. And it also, depending on who's picking two, three, and four doesn't mean maybe you package two of those picks and move back up into the, you know, into the top four picks to go get a quarterback you want. But there's no guarantee that someone else won't do it or there's also no guarantee that the team up there, that there won't be a team, that there will be a team, I should say. There's no guarantee there will be a team that doesn't need one of these quarterbacks, right? Yeah.

So a lot has to happen between now and that. I considered it when I sat down to write this mock draft earlier this week. I really did. In fact, you want truth serum? Yeah. I initially made the trade. I initially made the trade. And it didn't even include the 16th pick and included a second rounder and an additional pick next year.

Okay. You had to make it spicy. I like it. I did that because I'm looking at Miami's situation and you got Malik, right? but then I thought to myself, but if we're picking it one, this thing's an absolute cluster, right? It means it didn't go well.

And so I went back and forth on that. And then I thought to myself, all right, you're the general manager, you're the owner of the Dolphins. You're the head coach and Halfley, Jeff Halfley. You're sitting there and you're like,

what if we pass on the guy? And so there was, just a lot that factored in. And so I wound up sticking and picking with all of my 32 picks. I didn't put a trade in the September mock, okay? But I certainly entertained that concept. And then you make it a little bit richer where I get all three first round picks. And I'm an organization that's building. I mean, we saw last year, everyone get out the building. We're bringing in free agents to fit what we're trying to do. We're bringing in, you know, we're bringing in guys that fit what we want. And essentially, it became a situation where

they drafted well. They had a lot of picks and they're trying to build this thing. So that's going to be an intriguing thing to watch if Miami's picking really high. Can we put, like let's put some faces on these picks maybe. You're talking about taking either Arch

or let's say who would your fifth quarterback be taken? Who was your fifth quarterback taken in this draft? Was it? Darian Mensa, fifth quarterback with CJ Carr. Yeah. So let's say, are you to take, do you want Arch or do you want CJ Car

plus maybe? maybe, let's say, Charlie Becker at 11. And then I know you took a tackle if you're Miami. I know you took a tackle last year, but you could get maybe Goosby somehow of us there. Maybe Trevor Locke from Iowa. One of these three edge rushers. Yeah, one of the three edges falls to you there.

That's what you're talking about. Like, I think it's good to put faces to what the potential picks will be. Because then when you do, it's like, man, that's a lot. That's a lot for a Miami team that has still has a lot of building to do. And that being said, I think if you still do the analysis on it, I'm still taking arch. I'm turning them down. All right. Next question I want to pose is the dominoes start to fall in this top 10.

Six quarterbacks go in the first nine picks. In 2024, we saw six in the first 12, right? And that felt rich. But it turns out right now you're looking at it and you're like four of them, four of them hit, you know? Yeah. Okay, so six in the first nine picks, which selection, and I, for, for, for listeners and viewers, right? I allowed Munch to look at the first 10 picks, right? Or was it 12?

I figured. I allowed him to look at the first 12 picks. He has no idea what's going on, pick 13 and beyond in this mock draft. I was good, too. He's an honest man. But you have, you have looked at the first nine picks and you see those six quarterbacks come off the board, right? It's Arch at one, Dante at two. We've got Chambliss at three, Darien Mentsa at five,

C.J. Carr at seven, and Lenora Sellers at nine. My question to you is six picks going, the first nine picks. Which selection is the biggest swing? It's got to be Trinidad, Chandles at three. And I mean, I love Chamble's. Chamis has better tape-wise. I totally understand you putting him there. I love the player.

But if that, if he goes to Indianapolis and he's at the combine and the first number that they read is a five, not a six, I think there's going to be a lot of NFL GMs are going to be very hesitant about it. And you can say Russell Wilson, you can say, I get it. I get it. And I think this is kind of the kind of kid who can overcome things or overcome that weakness because other parts of his game are so good. But we just sat here the other day and talked about how awesome Rubin Bain looked in college. and then his first pro game, it's like, oh, no, maybe this is a thing. And I sat here and I was up and down about Will Campbell. And Will Campbell played better than I expected the left tackle for the Patriots who they took fourth overall two years ago.

And he played better than expected. And I get that. But he wasn't Joe Alts who went fifth the year before. I mean, these were, that's a swing, man. If you're taking a quarterback who's under six feet tall, you are taking a swing. Yeah, I don't disagree. As we stand here right now, the one, I'm not saying it's the biggest swing. The one that I think that has the biggest potential for swing in grade is Lenora Sellers.

Yeah. And so I'm kind of changing the question, but quite honestly, like, there's, there are certain things that he does where it's like, I don't have a problem. You're taking them at three. Right. Right. After Arch and Dante come off the board? yeah, you can take him at three. He's that special.

And then there's certain things, and you talked about a lot about it when you went back and watched the tape from just this last week. And I've seen it as well where it's like, if I take him at nine, man, that means I'm starting him.

At some point in his rookie year, and he's the guy. Like, is he ready for that? Is he, like, is he polished enough? So these quarterbacks are going to be fascinating. We're just, we're two weeks in, two point one weeks in. We got to see a sliver of something from Mayava,

Jane Maiava from USC in that first week, but in week zero, I should say. But early indications are this quarterback class is as good as we thought, but let's not be ignorant of the fact that we're about to, we're about to buckle up a little bit here, you know? We got we got Chambers versus Levitt this Saturday. We get some big time and just opponents, the level of competition.

Ments is not playing this level of competition the rest of the way. You know, and I'm not saying it's going to be SEC or Big Ten competition, but it starts to get week in and week out, all of these guys. Can I say something real quick? I know you have a bigger follower on social, you have a bigger following on social media, obviously.

I'm sure you're seeing this. Ohio State fans are heated, heated the Julian Sains, not in that top 10. I'm going to tell you that. You're going to get, there's going to be a lot of noise about that from Ohio State fans. I loved what I saw from saying the other night for two plus quarters. I really did.

I'm here for it. I feel like I'm on the Julian saying I'm like driving that train a little faster than everybody else. Right. There are portions where I'm like, why not? So keep it coming, Ohio State fans. There's nothing new. We've had a love-hate relationship my whole life. So that's fine.

Speaking of Ohio State, the third one I want to ask you, Jeremiah Smith's our number one overall prospect. He was absolutely out of his mind against Texas, especially in that first half. And he looked every bit of a generational prospect, okay?

But he goes fourth in this mock. How many quarterbacks would you actually take over him? Man, this is tough because you asked the question about our team's going to regret. I don't mind where you have them. I don't mind three going ahead of them.

When you start to think about it's not going to be how the big board shapes up, obviously. I think Jeremiah Smith's going to sit on top of that. We had the same thing happen with Jeremiah Love from Notre Dame, the running back. He was on top of our board last year. I think three is, if that was the over, if the over under is two and a half, I'm going over. I think three is a good number because the position is so important. And teams will regret it because, you know, You got to look at it from a hit rate.

And I feel very comfortable with Jeremiah Smith's going to hit. And these quarterbacks are a little bit trickier. Yeah, but you can't be picking in the top three in this draft. I know. It's hard. And that's the thing, man. That is the thing. How is Arizona?

How is Arizona? Like, yeah, we'll get a guy in round two. Right. You know? Yeah. And by the way, Julian's saying it's probably going to be back at Ohio State next year, is my guess. But we'll see how that plays out. I think so, too.

But I don't know. All right, fine. We'll take Jaden Mayava in round two and get Jeremiah Smith. Like, because the top three teams picking in this mock are Miami Dolphins at one with Arch Manning. Cleveland Brown's taking Dante Moore at two and Arizona Cardinals sitting at three. Les Carson Beck. I mean, and Jacoby Brissette, you ain't bench in Brissette anytime soon, I don't think. No.

No, no, no. Number four. which non-quarterback pairing in the top 10 would you fight the hardest for? You ready? Cam Coleman to Vegas, Leonard Moore, the cornerback from Notre Dame, to the Saints, or Edge Dylan Stewart from South Carolina going to the Washington commanders. Everybody wins.

I'll just say that. Everybody wins. But I liked the Chiefs getting Montser-Delain so much last year. I just thought that was unbelievable pick for them. And I'm going to go Leonard Moore here. I just think he might be the second best player in this draft. Despite all of the talent, Leonard Moore might be the second best player in the draft. We've seen what Tyler Shuck can do.

I mean, my guy is your guy, our guy, whoever you want to put it, can play the position. They have their quarterback. I think they are offensively. They look pretty good. I think they could really use a corner. And Leonard Moore at eight, I don't think he gets out of the top four in most drafts. I think he's that good. If you're getting him at eight because of all the other talent around it,

I mean, I absolutely love that pick. All the other ones are good, too, by the way. I mean, the Cam Coleman one, I like a lot. The Dylan Stewart, one of the commanders, I like a lot. But just that one, Leonard Moore's, like, really stood out to me. Yeah, I actually agree.

And why did Kansas City trade up a few spots to go get Munsoor Delane? because the Saints were sitting there at 8 and yeah yeah yeah I was going to say because he's awesome and the way the way Shucks playing I don't know the Saints are going to be picking at 8 but it is an interesting I know to play through I will say this

Dylan Stewart if he develops throughout this year and works out the way we think he's going to work out Caleb on Chasing for the commanders is on a one year deal Odafei OA OA is a four-year, $100 million deal. But you match up those two guys with Jaden Daniels.

If they get that thing rocking, bringing in a closer, another closer on the defensive line, that one's pretty sweet too. All right, let's transition. Really quickly. You've done a great job of structuring these shows. I hate to do this to you, but it's like, you know how my mind works.

Can I circle back on you real quick? Yeah, of course. He's had seven, Cam Ward, that is, he's had seven coordinators in seven years. Pretty remarkable. That's crazy. That will be it. It's our incarnate word, Washington State, Miami, and now in the NFL with table coming in the second year at Tennessee. They're committed to Cam Ward. I know that.

Unless this thing blows up and picking it forward, that's blowing up pretty good. Yeah, I'm not saying it's off the table. I'm just saying I think that there's a one more year, Cam Ward's our guy, and let's put weapons around him. Can you imagine Jeremiah Smith with Carnell Tate, you know? The reunited, I love that aspect of it. College teammates get back together, run it back.

All right, those are our top 10 dominoes, okay? Now let's take a look at this board. If you're watching on Netflix, Spotify, you can see it. if not Apple, I'll walk you through it. Miami Dolphins at one, take Arch Manning. Number two, the Browns. Do they finally get their guy? Dante Moore, number two pick coming out of Oregon.

Trinidad Chambliss. Mench doesn't love how high I am on Chamblis in this mock draft. Arizona is going with Chambliss at three. Then the first non-quarterback comes off the board. The only one in the top five, and that's Jeremiah Smith. The number one player on our board going to the Titans. Who, tighten up. carnell tate jets at five they get their quarterback they're not able to make the trade up but they get

darian mensa from miami miami who is rising six through ten we've got cam colman wide receiver from texas explosive guy for fernando mendoza number seven if they're picking at seven the panthers probably are going to have to move on from bryce young they go c j car from notre dame then leonard more the top defensive prospect in this draft cornerback goes to the saints then we go back to quarterback Lenora Sellers, the six quarterback and nine picks. South Carolina QB goes to the Atlanta Falcons. And then finally, Washington takes an edge in Dylan Stewart, the number one edge in this class right now from South Carolina.

All right, this is my new favorite segment. This is a staple. Get used to this. Beat the mock. What is happening right now? Tucker's already throwing up. excited about the new graphic and the clock ticking down and beat the mock. You're going to have to throw it up again when I asked the question.

But I love the enthusiasm. All right. The premise here is that Mench gets the team in the situation, but not the selection. This is why Mench wasn't allowed to read past PIC 10. From the second that I asked the question, he has 15 seconds to then think through it. I may filibuster, I may just let the silence be deafening. We'll see how it goes, all right? I'm going to get killed here.

I've already made the mock. Now we're going to see if Mench can beat the mock. I'll give you the team, the board, and 15 seconds. Turn in your card before I show you mine. Is essentially how this goes. You ready? Card one. New York Giants at number 12.

Here's the question. Edge Collins Simmons is still available. Plus you've got Gooseby. Three of your favorites. It's Goosby, Baugh at running back, Eccles, the interior defensive line, all right? At 12, what do you think the right choice is for the New York Giants, as I scroll through my notes, given those picks, given those names, who you got?

I am going to go with Will Eccles, defensive tackle from all this, because I think, you know, they've done a good job of bringing in two older veterans to fill that need, but you've got to, I think you've got to bring in a, difference maker and you're bringing in echoes. Interesting. All right, Tucker, show him who I went with. Show my card. Interesting.

I love, you know, I love Goosby, but is this, you don't think Maui Noah is going to kick out to right tackle when Jermaine Illuminaur is done? I think he absolutely could. I think that was one of the most dominating week one performances we've ever seen from a rookie offensive guard. And so maybe, maybe you just draft another. I'm not saying it's the perfect pick, but I, I, I, everyone, one knows what Harbaugh is doing. We're going to be the biggest baddest bullies in the

NFC East and that feels like but but Echols does as well and you're telling me and I've seen the tape but you're telling me I'm insane that he's not a top 10 pick so I was picking it. Yeah yeah you're right. All right card number two. I'm sweating by the way. Beat the mock. Love the name. We're going to we're going to have to create a competition beat my mock. That sounds weird, but okay. I know. That's why it's fun.

It's not even McShay after dark. But beat the mock. Card number two. Pittsburgh at number 13. Here's the question. Drew Allers entering into year two. They like them, but how much? Are you taking a quarterback?

If you remember, Steelers now are picking it 13, they didn't make the playoffs. It was not a, does, yeah, it was a very, how? Highly disappointing. First year, Mike McCarthy, last year, Aaron Rogers. Pittsburgh picking at 13. Are you taking a quarterback or BPA? At 13. At 13. And I know who you've already taken. You know the six quarterbacks who have come off the board. Yeah, I'm going to take the quarterback because I still think you're going to get a really good one there. And I don't, I'm not, I'm not on the drowler or Will Howard train yet.

So I think that I would take the quarterback. Talk. Now, it all depends on who's there for them. Yep, yep, there we go. I should have known this was coming. I'm surprised he didn't go third overall. The top six quarterbacks are off the board. I've actually been reasonable about Levin.

You have, you have. Dynamic, explosive. The flashes are brilliant. They're blinding. But three interceptions, subpar game. Is it just we didn't have much of a game plan? We're going out there. We're looking ahead to Ole Miss.

Big ones. Saturday, man. We'll get to that in a little bit. That's a tough one. That's a great question. Beat the mock card three. This goes all the way down to pick number 28. You haven't seen anything. You have no idea who's on the board here. I'll give you a couple hints for you. Kansas City Chiefs at 28.

Question. Do the Chiefs need another speed receiver here or keep the draft focus on defense after resetting last year with Delane, Peter Woods, and Armason Thomas, all three of which did some pretty damn good things in week one, man. Which way are they going? You got a speed receiver available for you, or you can go on the defensive side with a... Let me tell you, Zach Lutmer, Will Help,

Jelani McDonald, or Ty Benefield, Bear Alexander, David Stone at Interior Defensive Line, which way are you going? He left one second on the clock for me. I'm going defense. Look, I understand the mentality of taking an offensive player in the first round. Here are the last two guys they took in the first round offensively.

Xavier Worthy and Josh Simmons. I love Josh Simmons. He hasn't been healthy or he hasn't been on the field. Xavier Worthy is a speed receiver. Has it really worked out. Now, if you're going to take that first round pick, I would even be more comfortable doing what New England did and making some kind of an AJ Brown deal

and using that first round pick on an established receiver who could come in and help you right away or explore free agency. I'm not saying that you don't need to fill that need somehow. I think you do. But I'm not sure that I want to. And again, that chiefs team looked pretty damn good. They're not going to be picking early.

You haven't been picking 28. I think they go defense there. They know what they're doing there. Why don't break it? Who'd you go with? You might have beat my mock here. Tuck, show him the card. Yeah, what's the worst that could happen?

No offense. He's super talented, but we're bringing in and, oh, man, I don't want to, I don't want to overreact here. But the guys have some problems catching the ball. Well, notice his spider chart there with the ball skills compared to the explosiveness. separation. But, man, I just, I have this, this vision. Here's the thing. Watching the Chiefs the other night, my gosh, do I like this version of them?

It feels like, it feels sustainable. Kenneth Walker, the third, was awesome. What a sign. Their run blocking was awesome. And when you line up and you know, I'm like, you're an offensive lineman, man, you get to stick your hand in the dirt and you're like, I'm coming to kick your ass. that's that like that builds confidence right and then we got kelsey going and we got a couple other things going but it we're celebrating mahomes being back yeah celebrating a young defense and and and

thoughts are with delane hopefully that yeah man that's it doesn't sound like it's i mean he gets an interception and then all of a sudden it sounds like he landed on a previous injury and maybe it's it's not nearly as bad as the initial thoughts and concerns would be but you got three young defensive players that you really loved from a year ago. But what stood out to me was this, the wide receiver group looks, I don't know, their perimeter past game is my big question coming out of week one.

Agree with you. It's a need. I'm not sure that's the way they want to fill it. I'm not sure that's the way they want to address it. All right. Our third and final segment regarding this September mock, the September mock. The red pen. You're going to like this.

You get to get your red pen out mark some things up on this mock draft, which I'm sure you do every single time. First portion of it. First portion of it. Circle it. Circle it. Which team player pairing are you most confident will still make sense in April? Now, we want to say, like, not necessarily the exact draft slot, but the marriage that you think has staying power.

Colin Simmons going to the Vikings, I love. I just think they could use another pass rusher. I think he's a perfect fit as an outside linebacker in that scheme. I think that that's one that's a home run for me. And I think it's at 15 right now and I'm with you though. I think that could happen earlier. Maybe they pick a little earlier and that's where he comes off the board. But that marriage, that player and that scheme, I think would be a great get for the Vikings.

Yeah. We'll see if they're picking at 15. But given this simulation, that one's awfully intriguing. You know which one I like a lot? What's that? from a staying power standpoint. I steered away from the quarterbacks. We've talked a lot about him.

Cam Coleman to the Raiders. I think the Raiders are going to be picking in a range where maybe it's not Jeremiah Smith, but the next best wide receiver. Cam Coleman obviously had that unfortunate, like rolled over the ball that pops up interception. As I've said before, and it was kind of a unique thing on tape.

I love seeing like a unique trend I've never seen before. That dude makes a mistake, and he bounces back. And I love his mental toughness. Mostly I just love his explosiveness and ability to adjust the ball downfield. Giving Fernando Mendoza a young weapon to kind of grow old with would be awesome.

You told me 11 to 32. I mean, I didn't know I could give Cam Coleman to the Raiders and talk about that one. That's a no-brainer, my man. You see, you just don't listen in the classroom. That's for the next one. Arrow up is the next portion. The next portion of the, of the, of the,

of the red pen. The next portion, red pen. This is the next question. We'll get better. Arrow up. This is where picks 11 through 32, most likely to end up substantially higher. Any player from pick 11 to 32 in this mock

that you think is going to go way higher than I have them today. You got LSU offensive tackle with Jordan Seton pretty far down the board. I mean, you got him going to the Bengals at 24. I think he'll be gone, long gone by that. Just too talented. I think he's off to a good start. But even, I just think when you look at those guys, the big guys who move like he does, and again, I know some have gone, I think he's going to go, I think he's going to go at the latest in the teens.

And I think he can go higher than that just because of the way he moves. I mean, he has a chance to be an elite pass blocker at the NFL level. And he's got to get better in the run game. I get that. But when you're talking about some of these, you know, these zone running schemes, I think he's going to be a perfect fit for that. he's off to a good start i don't think he's going to be there that late it was interesting this this whole exercise feels um the whole exercise of doing this mock draft felt unnatural

and i say that because i've got guys like there's no fucking chance in the world that a cornerback that's got like patrick sartan written all over him and leonard more's going to be sitting there at eight right yep and so there's but but when you have six quarterbacks going the top nine. It's a totally different deal from what we had in the 2025 class and the 2026 class. Yeah. So I look, so I'm sitting there and I've got my board to my left.

I'm writing down to a mold school when I do a mock. I board, cross off, right in player. I'll go type it later. And I'm sitting there Colin Simmons, pick 14 goes and I've given Trades Green because it's like, is Tampa Bay going to take another edge? And gosh, wouldn't trade as Green be a nice fit in that offense? And Colin Simmons is still sitting there. I feel ick.

Yeah. So Colin Simmons, that's the long, that's the long answer for, I don't think Colin Simmons, if he continues to play like the flashes we saw against Ohio State. I'm with you. I don't think he's going to be sitting there 15, even though you love him in that fit. I do too. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm with you.

I hear you. That's, yeah, I don't want to get into it too much. But yeah. All right, last one. This is the one you enjoy the most. Cross it out. Which pick is least likely to survive, even until my next mock. Let's say I do a mock a month or a mock in three weeks from now.

Even if you said, McShay, you're doing a mock next week or whatever it is, which pick when you look at it? Because the player's going to rise, he's going to fall, a quarterback's going to save his job, whatever scenario that you are thinking in your mind, share it with us, but which player that you're just crossing this thing out? Like, no way. Not even just the specific marriage, but this thing is not going to last. I will say this doesn't feel right.

And it's giving me the ick that I have to talk about this player because I love the player. And you just brought him up. It's straight as green, the tight end from LSU. I love him. And we've seen tight ends start to go earlier, right? I mean, Tyler Warren, Colston Lovelland, Kenyon, Sadiq. It's not out of the question. That's actually a little later than those.

guys. So why not, right? I just think when you look at the way this draft is structured right now and the depth at other positions, I think this corner class is probably a little better than you do. I think some corners are going to go earlier. I don't see an edge like Colin Simmons being on the board when trade as green comes off the board just because of the positional value. So even though I love the player, I think he's going to be one of those guys that gets, and I could get, I can get, putting him here. It's not like talent-wise he doesn't belong. I think he's going to get pushed down

the board by all the other premium positions. So that's the one that kind of just feels off to me right now. Yeah, it felt off that the Panthers were picking at 7, but that's not really the criteria here. We're stuck with the order. Goosby at 12.

You're like, yeah, maybe it's I think if he plays his way into being the top offensive tackle, it's hard to imagine an offensive tackle doesn't go in the top 10. And then finally, just to bring some awareness to this guy, Ashton Hampton, the cornerback from Clemson. I know Clemson, the brutal loss week one against LSU. He had a pick in that game, right? The physicality. He's long. He's fast. He's got ball skills. He's physical. He's raw. But like, I don't, I just have a feeling that he's

going to be the number two corner when it's all said and done. And I kind of want to cross that off. think that he's going to go somewhere in the top 20, but we'll see how it plays out. But like, when we kick this thing off, what's jumping out of you?

I mean, there's all the noise, obviously. I mean, we've got LSU defensive end, Princewell, Uman, Uman, Mie Allen. Jeez, that's a tough one. Getting served papers. You man me yelling. Yep. Thank you. Getting served papers.

I think it might be Uman Mieland, but go ahead. Getting served papers because he left Ole Miss to go to LSU, and he's getting served outside the practice facility this week. I mean, there is bad blood on top of bad blood. College football. College football. Yeah. And I will say this.

I think that it's really important. that Ole Miss makes sure as the Kiwan Lacey gets his touches. I think he's got to get 15 to 20, no matter what the numbers look like. They got to make sure they run the kid. He's super talented, but they have to stay balanced.

We could talk about a million things here, man. We can talk about a million things about who's got more pressure on him, the Lane Kiffin's story, all of it. I come back to one thing. I believe in Trinidad Jamblis, the Ole Miss quarterback. And I believe that when the game is on the line,

that he's going to make enough plays, for Ole Miss to get the wind. And I think that's going to shock some people. But I don't know after watching him over the last year, why you, I mean, he's lost, he lost to Georgia when I feel like he was still kind of getting his feet wet and figuring it out. I know he had a couple starts,

but like it really just kind of a pop in the SEC. And then the other game was against Miami, and he damn near won that game for Ole Miss. And I think that Miami was a far superior roster. I thought it was a way more talented roster if I'm being honest about it. If you're looking at it that way, I just don't know how you can go against Trinidad Chambers.

Yeah, there's... You know, that's what I was looking out of my phone for. I wasn't disinterested in what you were saying. I was just... I wanted to get the updated, like at the moment spread on Fandul. And it's plus two and a half for all this at all this at all. That's what I had.

Yeah. Here's how I think this game's going to go. I think LSU is going to come out and either whack them. This could happen, by the way. And I'm not talking about like 30 points. I'm not talking about like that Clemson result. I'm talking like they're up 14 to 17 points throughout, like, you know,

and kind of physically beating them up. Or Ole Miss hangs around and then it becomes my guy versus your guy. And then I am. And then you know how much I love, love it. But then I'm then I am taking Ole Miss or Chambliss. You know who you know? You saying this, you say just hang around and if it gets late, this guy is going to take over. Jalen Brunson, the Knicks guard, he is a killer in the fourth quarter, right?

And he smiles and he smiles while he's killing you. It is, he's not the biggest, he's not the fastest, although Chambliss is pretty fast. But like he is a guy that you don't let him hang around. If you let him hang around, he is going to hurt you. And again, that Miami game, I don't know if people realize how close that thing was. And it was because of him. I just can't go against him. I know there's all these other things going on.

Did you see when the camera went on him? When the camera went on him and he had to have that drive against Louisville late, did you see the camera on him? Like literally like almost relieved with a smile on his face. Like what I look like after a long day of work and I, or like, you know, a workout, got some work done. And I've got, I've made this unbelievable turkey sandwich and I'm going to sit down and I've got, I've got a show on the background or whatever. That's how I look when I get that moment in my day and it's peace and quiet in the house.

Smile and relieved. Chammis was, don't give me the ball last. He's like, thank God. Like, oh, yeah, all right. I got this shot, but you're going to give me this shot in this moment. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. But there's some other elements to this game, too.

Of course there are. I mean, a lot of them. But can Golding break LSU's protections? Louisiana Tech sacked Sam Levitt five times. There's some vulnerability there, not just, and I'm not pointing directly just at LSU's offensive line. I'm pointing at Levit as well, holding on to the ball,

trying to make something big happen when you can just take short change, those sorts of things. So that's one thing I really want to. Can compete Golding in that defense for Old Miss get after Levitt, but do it in a way,

this is the tricky part where you're bottling them up, you know? Yeah. You said it. Principal Umenmi Ellen versus Old Misses protections. You know,

Umane Mielin produced six pressures and three sacks last week leads the FBS with five sacks. This guy, serve me all you want, motherfuckers. Serve me. I'm not sure I want to, by the way.

I'm not sure I want to piss them off. Like, I don't want to. I'm not sure that's the right move. I'm getting home. Yeah. I love that. Tradez green, this matchup piece. Yeah.

My gosh, is he looked good this year. He's always looked good, but he looks like it's all coming together. Late to football, late bloomer. This guy, it's all starts. So you got like Ole Miss with Edwin Joseph, have allowed three catches on four targets last week. That's a guy they're going to try to target. So there's a lot of matchups in this game.

But I'm with you. I think it's critical for Kiffin and 11 to jump Ole Miss in this game. I think the first drive has to be like that tempo that they do, they got to get them going. That's going to decide this thing. You've got to get Chambliss and that offense. and that team kind of backed up against the wall where they start to second guess themselves a little bit.

And they're like, oh, they are the bigger. There is a reason Lane took that job, you know? Self-doubt. But you catch a Levitt turnover early in this. You make a big play. You keep hanging around. The longer this game is one score, the more I'm starting to favor Ole Miss.

Man, I can't wait. LSU's got the more talented roster, right? And they've got a head coach who is unbelievably talented, has been in some big games. But when you look at the quarterback and you look at some of the roster, like a lot of these LSU guys, as talented as they are, they haven't been in like a big game like this.

You know what I mean? Like Sam Levitt, I guess Sam Levitt played against Texas. Maybe that's not as accurate. I just feel like that Ole Miss team's a little more battle tested. And maybe I'm crazy for that. I also like that they had a test in Louisville. like Clemson rolled over for LSU.

And you could say that that's a quality opponent. I'm not really sure yet. They didn't look great against Georgia Southern last week either. So I like that Ole Miss has been tested. I like that their quarterback has been, went through what he went through last year. It's going to be interesting to me, like how everyone handles the moment because there is going to be, I mean, obviously the attention is going to be insane. TJ, the last note, because we can't overlook it. He's one of our top 32 players, right, in the NFL draft.

Kiwan Lacey with Chambliss. What does that look like against the spine of this LSU defense? It's only given up 37 rushing yards. Now I'll be in the middle. And that Deuce Gerald's, I've said it on the watch list early preseason, true freshman. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Witt Weeks.

Witt Weeks is healthy now. We didn't realize how limited he was last year. And they get a dot, T.J. Dottery. T.J. Dotteries like, let's go. A green dot who's not able to wear the green dot because we went next to me. So I get two green dot guys reading, reacting, physical, playing off each other. This is a tough team to run on. And so if they, I could go all day long.

But you got a bottle of. up that that zone read chambliss has got to show he's they're going to run a little bit you got to keep lSU discipline with their eyes in order to free things up chambers had around 70 yards against lSU last year he rushed for around 70 i think he's going to i think that's kind of that's you know again i'm sorry i'm extending the conversation but that's kind of a mark to look for i think if he gets around 70 as a rusher then then lsu might be in trouble that was today's big game breakdown It was brought to you by Tick-Tac. Millions, Mench. All right. New Mexico plus one plus 21 and a half at Oklahoma. I watched that offense. There's concerns. 1710 lost last week. I think, I think New Mexico hangs around and I don't know that Oklahoma is going to put enough points on the board, 21 and a half, okay? Texas, then the next one.

Texas Tech only minus eight and a half versus Houston. That's a big one. So they stumbled last week. Saw them stumble last week. This is a Friday night game. So get this one in early. If you're watching on Friday, get it in for tonight. Texas Tech minus eight and a half, all right?

Texas Tech's run defense is 13 nationally. I think they're going to, they're going to, I think Connor Wigman, and is the ninth team in his 23rd. year in college football. We know the, we know the report on him. I don't think that he's going to have a big game against this Texas Tech D.

So I like Texas Tech minus eight and a half. And then BYU minus 17 and a half at Colorado State. I know Colorado States look good. BYU is good too, though. But BYU's, BYU's. I'm like, they haven't committed a turnover.

They held Arizona, 87 yards, minus two yards of rushing. Like everyone Everyone talking about the power four All those guys Like BYU is going to be over here Getting ready Like we're

We're making a statement You know I like that one like 3514 Something like that What do you got? We got some great quarterback matchups That I think are kind of flying Under the radar

We got Mississippi State Going to South Carolina Camaro Taylor versus Norse Sellers I mean that's going to be Awesome to watch Okay But I think

It might be the only quarterback matchup you can have where you're like, yeah, that guy is more physically gifted than my guy. Yeah, yeah. I think South Carolina is in a lot of trouble. Mississippi State just went up and, I mean, put one on Minnesota, handled Minnesota. And I think this is something that people are missing, okay?

That was one of the games I missed last week. I'll be honest. Taylor is awesome. And did I agree? He is unbelievable to watch, right? I think people are letting it fly. under the radar that they got a new defense coordinator, new slash old, the guy they brought back,

Zach Arnett, Mississippi State's had the worst run defense the last two seasons in the SEC. They go to Minnesota last week. Gophers get 15 carries, 13 yards. That defense is looking a little bit different. I think that, you know, and again,

they haven't played, I mean, Minnesota's a good team, man. I think that South Carolina is in real trouble to home. I think that Mississippi State wins that game. I think they're winning it outright. What was this right on that? It is three and a half, South Carolina's favorite. Okay.

SMU, Louisville, another one. Kevin Jennings leads the ACC in passing. Braum looks like he's got another quarterback in Lincoln-Kin-Hawls. I mean, that's another quarterback matchup I want to see. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in that Ole Miss game. Maybe I'm putting too much faith, but I like Louisville at home. I think they win by at least three, which would cover. They're favored by one and a half at home.

I think I love Louisville in that game. The last one will go is Florida Auburn. This one is the one where everyone's going to be like, dude, okay, Mitch is going to take Florida. I actually like Auburn. Auburn. I know that John Summerol could coach. I think he's going to get that program turned around.

Jaden Ball will be the best player on the field. Regardless of position, he's the best player on the field in that game. I worry that Auburn is going to be able to force their quarterback, Aaron Philo, who comes over with Georgia Tech with the offense coordinator. I think he's going to have to make more plays in this game. I'm not sure he can. If you flip the script and you do that with Auburn, Byron Brown. He's been in some big games, man.

He beat Florida at Florida last year with South Florida. And by the way, Alex Golish could coach too, man. He could coach too. I think a lot of people like Florida in that game. I actually like Auburn at home. I think Auburn wins that game at home. Interesting. Yeah, that's a battle of two SEC programs trying to get it right with first year head coaches.

Yeah. It's kind of like a little bit of a pissing contest. Like, no, we got the guy, not you, you know? Right. I mean, and Auburn's got a little bit of an edge there because I think there's been a lot of talk about Florida this, Florida that, and there's a lot of talk about how Auburn won in Summerall before he went to Florida.

I think there's a little bit of an edge there, man. I love it. All right, those are our best picks of the week. It doesn't matter if you're in Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, California, Georgia. Fanduil is there. That's right. Fan duel is nationwide this football season. So get in on the action.
