about a dozen listeners wrote in saying, I was right for not awarding a point for the answer perch. There is a fish called the Nile tilapia, but that's a separate species from the Nile perch. They are a totally different genus, family, and order. One is a small fish that's often used for bait, while the other is a sport fish that grows to be hundreds of pounds. So if you answered perch for that question, it's still incorrect.

The only right answer is tilapia. I remember when Larry Dahlberg went over there and caught some of those fish. What was his show called? Monster Fish? Something like that? Oh, man. I don't know if I remember. No, that's the one with Jeremy.

Mirepoix is a French flavor base that usually consists of two parts onion, one part celery, and one part carrot. This combination is popular in broth recipes, roast recipes, and stew recipes.
