["Meat Eater Podcast Theme Song"] Welcome to Meat Eater Trivia, the only game show where conservation always wins. I'm your host Spencer Neuharth and today we're joined by Yannis, Brody, Randall, Cal, Marge,
Starting point is 00:00:50 Cory and Logan. This is a 10 round quiz show with questions from Meat Eaters 4 Verticals, which are hunting, fishing, conservation and cooking. There is a prize. Meat Eater will donate $500 to the conservation organization to the winners choosing. For the stat of the week this week, we're updating our donation tracker through the podcast board games, expansion packs, live tour and sponsors. Meat Eater Trivia has now donated $150,000 to more than 20 different conservation organizations. Wow. Yeah. Big thanks to our partners on Axietti and Athletic Brewing.
Starting point is 00:01:24 And of course, Meat meat eater for making sure that conservation always wins Should change it to the game show or conservation and Brody and Randall always win Well, it's just conservation. There's there's yeah, we'll have the tournament coming up in about a month We had to we had to move around the schedule to make sure we didn't get Steve in the studio and that's gonna be happening in January So we'll crown our 2024 winner here pretty which is how they do it in all professional sports. It is Our team isn't ready Give us another month. We'll just push it into 2025. That's right
Starting point is 00:01:59 I know the chance he may not make it in January either So we may either gonna have to play without him or Push it to February. What do you think that those of us? They're just like in contention What could we do to have better performances? Hmm. That's a good one. Yanni. I don't know how you prep I think I think when you do well at this that's a lifetime's worth of gathering information I don't think there's any cramming Yanni and for me I feel like it's when your questions line up with my lifetimes Dependent and you'll get the right side of question. Yeah the other day
Starting point is 00:02:36 You know Brody got a big bass fishing question, correct, and he said he never touched a creature bait in his life So he's just a well-rounded Outdoorsman that's what it takes Yanni. And well read. And well read. Here's our infrequently asked questions segment if you have a trivia related question for our crew send it to trivia at TheMeteor.com with the subject line IFAQ. Connor Moore says has AI made your job easier have you ever tried getting it to write questions for you? I answered that second part before when Chad GPT first arrived I tried giving it prompts to write me questions and it failed the questions were like When is turkey season with the answer being spring or when where do you shoot a deer?
Starting point is 00:03:17 And the answer would be like in its vital so AI could not write good questions for me AI has actually made my job harder I'd say, when it comes to Googling stuff. In the last year, Google has straight up gotten worse. It's crazy. They've got those AI-generated things at the top, which also from an ad perspective, how does that work?
Starting point is 00:03:36 Because Google makes all their money through their ads. And people aren't scrolling down and clicking on other websites. How are they making, like, it just seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot. Yeah, everyone is in agreement. Google has gotten worse and a big part of that is AI because of like that first overview it gives you
Starting point is 00:03:51 that's often misleading or wrong. And then beyond that, like websites are now using low quality AI generated content that typically lacks any human fact checking. And then you'll get like AI is making SEO content that's based on other AI content. So it's like AI inbreeding that totally clogs up Google. Spencer, I feel like you're poking the bear like somewhere there's an extension AI that's like Spencer, you are. Listening to this.
Starting point is 00:04:17 I mean AI does write all of my jokes for me so that's that's at least one beneficial. Yeah, to answer your question, Connor, AI has not made things easier. Spencer, I was gonna say, I've even tried plugging your, using your crossword puzzles and having to try to generate more crossword puzzle clues
Starting point is 00:04:37 based on the ones you gave, is garbage. Like, you wouldn't think it'd be that hard to generate a crossword clue, but I give you props for how well they're're in you Logan because AI could not do anything You gotta build this into your next raise talk. Yeah Logan that some other like very famous crossword puzzles almost strictly use AI to my god their crossword puzzles Is that right? Mm-hmm, and we saw that there was no way this was a coincidence That we'll talk about on a future episode. Well future housekeeping somebody stole
Starting point is 00:05:09 Folks, there's no doubt about it. Someone just took one of our crossword clues And I think it was probably AI was crawling the internet and came across our Crossword puzzle and then use that in their clue a very famous crossword puzzle will address that in the future puzzle and then use that in their clue. A very famous crossword puzzle will address that in the future. No housekeeping today so we can get right to the trivia. The Shelby index for this round is a four and a half so our winners should get nine correct answers. With that we're on to the game of trivia. Play the drop Phil. Look I need to know what I stand to win. Everything. How's that? You stand to win everything.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Game on suckers! Question one, the topic is conservation and as always this will be multiple choice. Which of these national parks is not located in multiple states? Is it Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains, Death Valley, or Shenandoah? Three of these national parks are located in multiple states. One is not. Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains Death Valley or Shenandoah Brody you know this one? I don't know okay I got it I mean I'm not gonna change my answer. Randall you know this one. I don't know. Okay they feel okay about their answer Yanni has not come up with an answer yet which of
Starting point is 00:06:44 these national parks is not located in multiple states? Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains, Death Valley, Shenandoah. Is everybody ready? Not quite. Ready as I'll ever be. I know, now I want to change my answer. Randall, are you done? Yes, go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Cory and Cal saying Death Valley.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Marsh says Great Smoky Mountains. Randall, Shenandoah. Logan and Yanni says Shenandoah. Brody says Death Valley. The correct answer is Shenandoah. Brody says Death Valley. The correct answer is Shenandoah. I think three of our players got that one right. Yellowstone is located in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Great Smoky Mountains is located in North Carolina and Tennessee. Death Valley is located in California and Nevada. Shenandoah is contained to Virginia. Question two, the topic is hunting. This next great question is via Justin Van Horn.
Starting point is 00:07:51 This is an audio question. Phil is going to play you one minute of a song about hound hunting. You need to tell me who the artist is. Take it away, Phil. Apologies to the YouTube audience. ["Try To Toll The Line"] Now you say if I quit. It's a good one.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Now we need to name the artist. Fill our monitor. Oh no, it's black on purpose. Looking for the YouTube web. I'm gonna open the dark box up and go to hell with all my friends. I will wake up in the morning and I will follow you to town. If I can take my house to heaven, I can hunt on God's ground. You're listening to the silky smooth tones of Janis Patelis in the background. Your answer should not be Janis.
Starting point is 00:09:08 I'm not going to accept the answer of Yanni. If you put that down, you need to tell me who that artist is. This is surprisingly the only country artist I could probably name. Okay. Me too. Give me some hints. Is it a country artist? Randall or Compton.
Starting point is 00:09:23 It depends on how you define country. Yeah. Artist was not in my Spotify rap. No, it was not in my rap. You don is it a country artist and Randall or confidence on you to find country? Yeah No, it was not not you don't have this one right then Marge Okay, Marge wore a special shirt today for trivia She said that this is a family heirloom that she had to fight her cousins to get it is a vintage a real vintage Not a fake, a real vintage, not a fake vintage, a real vintage hams shirt says promise me anything. What does it say? Promise me anything but give me a hams. That's lovely. That is beautiful. With uh in the shades of the land of the sky blue waters.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Jennifer had a uh bush t-shirt that was the same color as that and It was a hot shirt because it was so vintage when I met her that it was almost getting kind of see-through You know so I really enjoyed it when she wore it, but it got so vintage that it just pretty much fell apart But it said I believe if I can get this right. I think it said You can take my Augusto, but don't touch my bush or something And you don't know where that shirt wound up. It disintegrated. Oh, okay. Like she wore it out.
Starting point is 00:10:28 It's back in the earth. Extraventage. Yeah, it's yeah. Ashes to ashes. Yeah. We had the bar that I- Can you get close to that mic, Cal? Sorry. The bar that I grew up working in had a ham sign in it that the background would change.
Starting point is 00:10:41 It was like a waterfall and bears fish in. Every year people would come in and offer us cash for that yeah like the real I saw one of those recently in like the last year at some small town Montana bar I'm in Facebook groups for those and that's like a four-figure thing that you're talking about very expensive yeah again you need to name the artist of that song everybody have an answer? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Corey and Cal saying Tyler Childers.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Marge without an answer. Randall and Logan and Yanni saying Tyler Childers. Brody says Morgan Wallen. The correct answer is Tyler Childers. That song is Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven from the 2022 album of the same name. One music critic said that he loved the salute to traditional country music, summing it up by saying it's about quote, the earthly good ol' boy who believes heaven should be less pearly gates and harp strumming angels and more of a venue for his desires to be satisfied.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Question 3, the topic is cooking. This is the 8 letter French word for broth that is often stored as a powder. Question 3, the topic is cooking. This is the 8 letter French word for broth that is often stored as a powder Brody and Randall already have their answers I'm glad you got that finally because as you know, we went to Childers live No, yeah, is it in Missoula? Oh, yeah, I heard there was a great drone show Oh, which is a little weird for a Tyler Childers concert
Starting point is 00:12:27 I imagine if it was like I don't know Lady Gaga, but yeah, of course, there's gonna be yeah It was unexpected. It was unexpected and it's also unnerving just seeing that much Mm-hmm. Like if we talk about the threat of AI sure had you been in attendance after that little crossword bit? Uh-huh The technology gods Pretty much had us. Yeah where they wanted us at that moment. What what was what were they portraying in the sky? There were mules. There's a big chicken pivots and the ear moves People sent me that video. It was really unnerving. Mm-hmm. Yeah was really unnerving. Yeah. You got the question right though. Great show though. Great showman right. Yeah. You just had to close your eyes and just listen I guess. Yes. Question three.
Starting point is 00:13:12 This is the eight letter French word for broth that is often stored as a powder. Marge you have this. It's in there. Think. You got it Yannis? I think so. You think so real hard. No, I almost I almost F'd it up, but I believe I came around I think well I'll mention my little if I have it right then I'll mention my problem with the question Are you do okay is everybody ready there go ahead and reveal your answers with Cory and Ready then go ahead and reveal your answers with Cory and Cal and Marge and Randall the whole room says bullion and they got it correct. I really want to dig into Logan's spelling Spelling is B. Oh you I L-l-o-n anybody get that right? Yeah, I got it. What's your problem with the answer here Yanni?
Starting point is 00:14:15 With the question. Oh with the question. Yeah, what's the problem is that I can't say that in all my years I've ever encountered powdered bullion It's a cube which is powder that's shaped like a cube that we're talking about I'd say they're in moisture contents a little high in the cubes to be a powder or there's the jar Haven't you ever gotten like the little jar of in that? Version I've never had in powder form the words bullion and broth can be used interchangeably Although most think of bullion as the powderillon and broth can be used interchangeably, although most think of bouillon as the powder version and broth as the liquid version. Bouillon cubes are made by
Starting point is 00:14:51 concentrating and dehydrating broth, which is then pressed into a square. To learn how to create your own broth at home, go watch Kimmy Werner's video on TheMeatEater.com called How to Make Bone Broth. I think y'all is being a little nitpicky there It's a little nitpicky. You have like a gelatinous form of it. You're saying or what? Well, yeah that that and the cubes neither of which are powders Question four the topic is gear. This is our listener question of the week Which was won by Nick Sikorski for sending this great question Nick is going to get a board game signed by the crew if you want a chance to win Our listener question of the week then send your question to trivia at the meat eater comm hey real quick
Starting point is 00:15:30 Anybody know why that little buck is upside down then that way for a while like it now ask bill With a single fastener in it yeah, yeah, it was Barely balancing when it was up and so I tapped it and it hung down like that. I kind of like it. So I left it that way. It works, it works. Question four. This brand won the grand prize at the 1909 World's Fair for their vacuum insulated bottles that are designed to keep drinks hot or cold. designed to keep drinks hot or cold? Question four. Topic is gear and this was our listener question of the week won by Nick.
Starting point is 00:16:10 This brand won the grand prize at the 1909 World's Fair for their vacuum insulated bottles that are designed to keep drinks hot or cold. Bro, do you have this one? I think so. Okay, Randall, you have an answer that you like You know that joke. I'm going back and forth on Now just stick with my don't know the joke joke is it gonna give away the answer go back and forth a little bit
Starting point is 00:16:35 So Joe think about it what ends with how do it know it's like keeps things hot keeps things cool That is impressive. This brand won the grand prize at the 1909 World's Fair for their vacuum insulated bottles that are designed to keep drinks hot or cold. Is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Cory and Cal and Marge and Randall and Logan saying Stanley. Janice crossed out Stanley and put Thermos. Brody says Thermos. One of you two groups is correct. The correct answer is Thermos.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Yanni and Brody got that one. I wrote that down. Brutal. Such a generic name. I thought it was, I didn't realize that was a brand. It's like the Kleenex of tissues. Yanni's throwing no hitter right now. So is Randall.
Starting point is 00:17:33 No, Randall just broke down Stanley. The vacuum flask was invented in 1892 to keep chemicals at a stable temperature. The thermos brand saw there would be a domestic market for such a product, so they started selling them in 1904. The company hit it big in 1939, when 98% of their factory started producing bottles and lunch boxes for the military during World War II.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Question five, the topic is fishing. This of Mice and Men author wrote that fishing is quote, the last remaining way for a man to be alone without being suspected of some secret sin. He had a very low opinion of hunting this guy. Brody and Randall already have their answers. This of Mice and Men author wrote that fishing is quote quote the last remaining way for a man to be alone without being suspected of some secret sin I
Starting point is 00:18:32 Didn't know about his anti hunting I don't know if I wouldn't call it. Yeah, just just like didn't respect hunters a whole lot. Okay. Hmm Kind of a fence sitter perspective, right? Like these guys do it the right way. Sure Cal you have this one, right? I can't remember guys name. Okay, I Can recite some books? Uh-huh. Who's read of mice and men? Yeah. Yeah the whole room But I don't think I actually would say I read it. You got the spark notes.
Starting point is 00:19:08 But I read a lot of his other, I mean, I read a lot of, I think, if it's the right author, I've read a lot of his books. You more of a George guy or Lenny guy? Can I pet the rabbits, George? I, when I'm petting him. Terrible. Yeah. Yeah, I know. the rabbits George. When I'm petting a dog or a cat you get like that aggression because they're so cute I say I'm going to of mice and men them.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Marge and Cal coming up with their answer. Logan, do you have this one right? I don't think so. Did you read this in high school? I'm pretty sure I did. Okay. I can't believe that's crossed that many. Is that like flowers for Algernon? Is that the same author? I don't know. Let's not get too crazy out here. That was definitely high school required reading. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of. Maybe I haven't read of Mice and Men. It wasn't a phase. Phil, would you get this one right? Yeah, I read a lot of this guy's books. That's cool I was like kind of I went through a phase with this guy. Oh No, that's make me feel better about my answer. I can't take it anymore Brody is everybody ready?
Starting point is 00:20:18 Go ahead and reveal your answers Cory says the row Cal without an, Marge without an answer. Randall says Steinbeck, Logan says Ray Bradbury, Janis and Brody say John Steinbeck and they got it. The correct answer is John Steinbeck. Steinbeck was an avid angler, but those close to him said he wasn't obsessive about success. His son declared that the Nobel Prize winning author went fishing because it gave him an opportunity to daydream. Steinbeck once said that sometimes he'd go fishing without bait so that not even the
Starting point is 00:20:56 fish could bother him. Steinbeck has some like from Travels with Charlie has some like very Gracious quotes on Montana, so it's he's like a very popular Montana Just really killing me that I couldn't get in Didn't get it fell. We're halfway through the game of trivia give us a scoreboard update All right You got Marge with a point. Coming up next are Cory and Cal with two points a piece. Brody and Logan have three.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Randall has four, and yes, Yann is still pitching that perfect game. He has five points. He was wondering how he could study for the tournament, but maybe he doesn't need to. He has a perfect game going on. What a rebound, huh, Yannny? Yeah, I have almost twice as many points as I got in my last game.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Sometimes when it comes to your personal fitness goals, you just need a plan. Peloton can give you the plan, absolutely, and Steve, you've got a Peloton. I sure do. And Steve benefits from things like a variety of challenging classes. There are four week strength building classes, running, cycling, everything in between. Peloton can adapt to any goal in this season of your life. And by the way, the holidays are around the corner. That was when you need to be on the Peloton. This next great question is via Steve Corson.
Starting point is 00:23:21 What does FEMA stand for? It's in the government agency what does FEMA stand for a lot of right then this one yeah okay well there's a little hint Brody says he has to do a lot of writing this is question six again the topic is conservation I was prepared for an argument somebody's saying how was this conservation you know I would tell you I will explain in the house this conter I'm gonna tell you in the flavor text Brody thank you for asking come on what does FEMA stand for do you have this one right Randall boy I hope so Brody I sure hope so and you boys guessing or you just think you have like it makes sense. No, I read this news occasionally
Starting point is 00:24:10 Yeah, sometimes It's in the news Corey you confident no, okay. I Listen to the news all the time, but I just learned about this but into the news all the time but I don't ever hear about this but because of agencies like this there's a bunch of cash available in the conservation world yeah to do work ahead of time that can mitigate oh are you like he's read my flavor like you're burning Spencer's you're stealing his thunder. Again, FEMA, F-E-M-A. Yeah, maybe I'm right. Logan, how we doing?
Starting point is 00:24:49 I think I got three of the letters of the acronym. I don't know what the M is for. I think we're waiting on you. It's for Maggie. Alright. Marge, are you done? Yeah. Okay, Logan, you done?
Starting point is 00:25:03 Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Corey saying Federal Emergency Medical Agency Cal Federal Emergency Management Agency Marge Federal Emergency Medical Agency. Yep. Randall Federal Emergency emergency management administration. Logan, federal emergency movement America. Nice, that's very creative. Janis, federal emergency management agency. Brody, federal Emergency Management Agency. The correct answer is Federal Emergency Management Agency. I think we had Yanni and Brody, did anybody else get that right?
Starting point is 00:25:58 Cal, Yanni, Brody, Cal. FEMA helps people before, during, and after a natural disaster strikes. Although most associate them with handing out blankets and water bottles, they also do a fair bit of conservation work. They developed the Flood Risk and Endangered Species Habitat Map, which identifies critical habitat for threatened species in floodplains. They also conduct environmental reviews after a disaster strikes, and fund wetland restoration to help prevent future disasters.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Cal, is that what you were talking about, saying that some groups like this have some money for projects like that? Yeah, like North Carolina is like a major user of these funds right so it's like putting in you know like planting a bunch of trees and grasses and stuff to slow down beach erosion and stuff like that question seven the topic is trapping this next great question is via Callum Gray this type of trap which has two rectangular frames that slam shut when triggered is named after the man who invented it. This type of trap which has two rectangular frames that slam shut when triggered is named
Starting point is 00:27:19 after the man who invented it. Randall, you have this one right? No, I'm not sure. Okay, first one to come up with an answer over there. Logan, you have an answer as well. You like your answer? Um, I know, yeah. I think it's 50-50 chance. Brody and Yanni have now joined them.
Starting point is 00:27:36 This type of trap, which has two rectangular frames that slam shut when triggered, is named after the man who invented it. This is question seven. You know that darn Wile E. Coyote is always buying his stuff. Acme. Don't give it away. Is everybody ready? It would be funny if he ever actually had one of these traps on that show.
Starting point is 00:28:00 That would have made quite, that would have made a mess out of that That require the Roadrunner get in it though. I bet he had one It's no the Roadrunner is too fast for the jaws of the trap He does his only super powers the Roadrunner would go through it and then Wiley would go inspect it And then it would close on him his eyeballs would pop out. Yeah, I'm just guessing Is everybody ready come along and put a bullet in his head and skin him? Is everybody ready? Come along and put a bullet in his head and skin him. Cal and Cory are coming up with their answer for the name of the trap. It's named after the man who invented it.
Starting point is 00:28:31 Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Cory and Cal and Marge. And Randall, the whole room says Conabare. The whole room got it right. The correct answer is Conabare. whole room got it right. She correct answer is conabare Frank conabare was living in Minnesota when he designed the trap that's named after him in 1929 his goal was to create a lightweight compact inexpensive trap that would humanely kill an animal He said his inspiration was a giant egg beater
Starting point is 00:29:03 Which he envisioned a mink stepping into and getting stuck in. He later improved the trap by altering its shape which he said was influenced by his mother's embroidery hoops. So when you're looking at a conabare, you're looking at something that a man designed based on giant egg beaters and embroidery hoops. Wow. Question eight. The topic is fishing. That's wonderful. and embroidery hoops. Wow. Question eight, the topic is fishing. Monterey Bay Aquarium defines this event as quote,
Starting point is 00:29:29 the highest high tides and lowest low tides of the year. Fishing. Fishing, Monterey Bay Aquarium defines this event as the highest high tides and lowest low tides of the year. the highest high tides and lowest low tides of the year. Oh. The room looks stumped. Yanni has now come up with an answer. Yanni, is that a good answer that you just wrote down?
Starting point is 00:29:57 I mean, it came to me. I'm gonna go with it. Monterey Bay Aquarium defines this event as the highest high tides and lowest low tides of the year It's a singular event Not not giving you any further hints Yanni the only player with an answer that he likes Yanni, the only player with an answer that he likes. Randall, do you have something running down? I've got an answer, but there's a word I'm scratching around in my head.
Starting point is 00:30:31 I feel like there's another word that I know that is not coming to me. I feel like this is hemisphere specific too. Do you? Brody now has an answer. Dropped his whiteboard on the table. It seemed like a frustrated drop rather than a cocky drop. Nah, well yeah, I'm not sure. I was on a text chain, everybody else was in Montana,
Starting point is 00:30:54 but there was one fella down in New Zealand, and someone had to ask about the toilet bowls, you know. Was it you or you someone? No. I've been down there. But it was funny because the dude answered with like it's such a different design that the water Doesn't actually swirl it just whooshes out of there And he's like I think it's a very poor design because there's a lot more streaking that happens
Starting point is 00:31:21 In this design that he used down there, So they're basically all just using airplane toilets Yeah, yeah from the sound of it. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and this is question eight the highest high tides and lowest low tides What's water of the year? Is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Cory saying equinox Cal says tsunami We have Corey saying Equinox, Cal says Tsunami, Marge Equinox, Randall says Peak Tide, Logan Swell Tide, Yanis King, Brody, the Boar Tide. The correct answer is King Tide Yanis. Got that one right.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Or the... The way the question is constructed What led me away from king tide because king tide tsunami would not be correct either That's how Monterey Bay you think about it Thinking of I don't know know what the answer would be King Tide or the Perigeean Spring Tide. I don't know what your answer was. But like King Tides can happen many times throughout the year. That's right. Nobody said that it can't. Said the highest and the lowest. This event. That's a singular thing. King tides occur. Do you describe Monday as an event?
Starting point is 00:32:48 I describe sunrise as an event. That happens every day. King tides occur during Perigeean, which is when the moon comes closest to the Earth. This phenomenon happens a few times a year with the dates varying across the globe. A king tide is usually one to two feet higher than a normal tide, which in some areas will cause extreme flooding. Phil, we have two questions left. Give us a scoreboard update.
Starting point is 00:33:14 I mean, you just imagine where you're gonna stand. Somebody's like, hey, king tide today. Somebody's like, oh, tsunami today. How far back are you gonna be? You'd be closer to the ocean They're like tsunamis coming. Well, I don't think that's messing with the tides though Maggie has two points Cory has three Cal and Logan are tied up with four Randall and Brady and have five and holy Yeah, yeah, tell us run away with the game. He still has a perfect game with eight points and he is far ahead She will mr. Perf should leave the room and let you finish this one on one with Spencer? There's a lot of pressure right now. I'm feeling. Have you ever gotten a perfect game? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Okay. And he has eight through eight questions. Here's question nine. The topic is cooking. Thank you. According to Eater magazine, these two new England states are best known for cream based clam chowder This is according to eater Matt eater magazine these two New England states are best known for cream based clam chowder Randall has a grin on his face as he wrote down his answer. I wrote down one state in one city Okay, well don't do that. I didn't. I immediately caught myself. Two states. That could have been a hint for Yanis that Randall no initially went with a city. I was gonna say my hint is that it's not a city. That's helpful. Again this is question nine Yanni
Starting point is 00:34:53 Game but this may pretty easy but if you're throwing a perfect game I can see how it's more challenging According to Eater magazine. That's why I don't put myself in that situation These two New England states are best known for cream based clam chowder Sounds good right about now. Mm-hmm. Oh, I made a good halibut chowder last week. That's good. Way better. Oregon recently had their King Tides. I follow some rockhounding Oregon Facebook groups.
Starting point is 00:35:14 I bet they did. Yeah, I have a lot of time. They're very eager for this King Tide because it gives them some more rocks to go look at. I bet a King Tide during the fall equinox would probably max out Especially at the peak you argue with Monterey Bay aquarium. I think fish chowders are awesome It's just like no matter every time you make them somebody complains about the smell in the house I
Starting point is 00:35:44 Don't make it not snort Who could it be? You have written down I have two states written down, but I don't know if I'm their actual states Share with the rest state of confusion doesn't matter I'm pulling for you. Yeah, we're all rooting for you. I think we want conservation to really win today Starts At the border go ahead and reveal your answers we have Cory saying Maine in Massachusetts Cal March Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Randall, Maine and Massachusetts. Logan, Massachusetts and New England. Not a state. Yanni, Massachusetts and Maryland. He crossed out Maine. Brody, Massachusetts and New York. The two states are Maine and Massachusetts. That brings the perfect game to an end.
Starting point is 00:36:50 It was fun while it lasted though. New England clam chowder is the most popular version of the dish but there are regional variations such as Manhattan chowder which is tomato based and Rhode Island chowder which is tomato based, and Rhode Island chowder, which is broth based. Starting point is 00:37:35 Here's question 10, the topic is hunting. When Federal introduced the 224 blank in 2017, they named the cartridge after female warriors in Norse mythology. Brody and Randall appear to be very confident. This is question 10, the topic is haunting. When Federal introduced the 224 blank in 2017, they named the cartridge after female warriors in Norse mythology

Starting point is 00:38:49 In 2017, they named the cartridge after female warriors in Norse mythology. Brody provided a hint by saying it's a cool name. Well, I mean, Brody provided more of an opinion than a hint. A very subjective hint. Yanni, you gonna get this one right? Mmm. I don't, right now I'm not. Good thing he built up a lead early. Yeah, we have Randall and Brody may only lose by one point. He spiked the ball on the two-yard line here.
