The Megyn Kelly Show - AOC Laughs at Her Dangerous "Woke 1" Past, and WNBA "White Privilege" Nonsense, with Sean Davis, Sohrab Ahmari, and Dr. Nathan Cofnas | Ep. 1376

Episode Date: August 10, 2026

Megyn Kelly discusses why the WNBA is imploding amid its latest controversies, Caitlin Clark's refusal to stand up for women, two former NBA players announcing they identify as women and want to join... the WNBA, how their announcements could test the league's eligibility rules, Sophie Cunningham being assaulted on the court by DiJonai Carrington, Carrington getting kicked out of the game before alleging "white privilege," and more. Then Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist, and Sohrab Ahmari, U.S. editor of UnHerd, join to discuss how the WNBA's embrace of grievance politics has fueled controversies over gender and race, why the league is now being forced to confront the reality of its own ideology, AOC laughing off the left's radical policies of 2020 by claiming "Woke 1 was crazy," her attempts to move past her support for defunding the police and cancel culture without taking accountability, the media's failure to press her on her record, AOC oversharing about her decision to freeze her eggs despite having a long-term partner, the political debate the posts started on both sides of the aisle, and more. Then Dr. Nathan Cofnas, postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University, joins to discuss how former Cambridge professor Jason Arday's lies finally caught up with him, how DEI ideology and fears of being labeled racist protected him from scrutiny for years, why the plagiarism accusations finally led to his exit, and more.   Davis- https://thefederalist.com/ Ahmari-https://unherd.com/ Cofnas- https://ncofnas.com/   Supersure Insurance: Upgrade your business insurance to a year-round SuperAgency at https://Supersure.com/Megyn Birch Gold: Text MK to 989898 and get your free info kit on gold Lean: Discover why LEAN is becoming the choice for real weight‑loss results—shop now at https://TAKELEAN.com use code MK. Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the Megan Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East. Hey, everyone, I'm Megan Kelly. Welcome to the Megan Kelly Show and happy Monday. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is trying to downplay the carnage, woke ideology played in American society. That's not going to happen here, okay? She's not going to get away with that. I am so angry about her ridiculous attempt to just dismiss the pain. she led a movement to cause on, oh, you know, we were just temporarily not spy.
Starting point is 00:00:42 No, no, I'm sorry, madam. Nice try right before the next presidential campaign gets underway. It's a no. You were the leader in causing death and destruction across our country with your bizarre views on police and so-called trans children. kids were sterilized. They had body parts chopped off. Black Americans who are living in poor areas of major metropolitan cities are dead because of your insane, woke, defund the police policies. F you, if you think you can dismiss it with your little giggle with your made up face on a Sunday show saying,
Starting point is 00:01:30 woke one was crazy. Hard pass on your attempt to pass the buck that way. We'll get into exactly what she did and what she said. This is a 2028 play for sure. She's trying to moderate to the middle. She's refusing now to rule out that she might run. She might go for Senate first. I can't say that that's not possible. But this bitch thinks she's going to be president and she's trying to position herself from a place that she could launch it. And there is zero chance anybody who would oppose AOC should let her off the hook this easily. Ha ha ha ha, woke one was crazy. You let it. You let it, madam. Unlike your other socialist comrade, Bernie Sanders, who never much got into the cultural woke wars. He has this staunch populist economic message.
Starting point is 00:02:28 but doesn't buy into this other shit. You let it. You did. It's in writing. You're all over the record on it. You will not be permitted to dismiss it and disown it. So cavalierly, without a full mea culpa, an explanation of how you realized how wrong you were and an apology to the millions you harmed by forcing this madness into their classrooms
Starting point is 00:02:57 and their dorm rooms. and their places of employment and their communities, which literally led some into the funeral parlor. I just, I'm disgusted by what I saw on the Sunday show. I just honestly can't believe my eyes. Okay, but we're going to start on a different story. We'll round back to AOC. No one cares about the WMBA, including me.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Could you care less about this group of spoiled, woke, pathetic, talentless brats? Same. Same. Okay. But I am interested in what happens over there to the extent it's a little microcosm of like this woke world. You know, like what would the world look like if we actually went along with these woke lunatics and reduced ourselves to this hierarchy based on race and LGBTQ status only? You know, because you're immediately at the top of this organization. If you're black and gay, which someone, high percentage of them are. And if you're not one of those things, you go down immediately. And if you're not either of those things, you're at the bottom of the pecking order. And so they keep having these weird fights within their very sick, toxic organization over these issues. And they're bubbling up to the forefront because more and more people are paying some attention to this weird group. Thanks to Caitlin Clark, who's annoying? I'm sorry, she's no one to root for. I'm sorry, she's not. She's woke. She was very pro Barack Obama. She refuses to stand out and up to the excesses of her league.
Starting point is 00:04:39 She's complicit. She's fine with it, you guys. I know there's people like Dave Portnoy who are like very determined. She's going to leave and start her own league. No, she isn't. No, she's not. She had the chance to do that. She hasn't. She wants the approval of these bizarre people that she surrounded herself by. And by the way, she also is an actress. I mean, honestly, like, I'm over her. She has plated up plenty over there. And she just wants to play the victim. I know she doesn't go running and crying in front of the cameras all the time. But she's happy to let Sophie Cunningham stand out there and say what's being done to her is wrong. She's happy to let the stories get generated about poor Caitlin. You know, I think she's enjoying her two minutes and she does nothing, nothing to change it. Okay. Enjoy your weird bizarre league. I'm done, like feeling sorry for Kenne Clark.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Done. I admire Sophie Cunningham trying to change this bizarre place that she's found herself. She's at least trying. She's standing up to the bullies in the league with the finger point. Good for her. If asked, she'll say explicitly how she feels about all this stuff. She's not shy about it. and it's all bubbling up in her league.
Starting point is 00:05:58 You know, I just completely see it as different. People are like, oh, what do I mean? Caitlin Clark's doing exactly what conservatives have wanted people to do in sports. No, that's incorrect. If Caitlin Clark was asked to opine on ice and said, I'm not getting into that, we would totally understand that. That would be a completely appropriate response. The reason she was asked the trans question last week was because this has come up in
Starting point is 00:06:23 her league. There are protests at every game. There are shouting matches. There are coaches who are getting suspended for taking a position. It was shoved in the face of Caitlin's colleague and teammate Sophie Cunningham. She answered it, which unleashed this torrent. This little girls in Caitlin's sport are having the shit kicked out of them, as we've demonstrated on this show time and time again, with actual honest reporting and video. So you don't have to guess about it.
Starting point is 00:06:49 It's happening. There are a lot of young, in case it matters, girls of color. in Massachusetts who would love to have someone like Caitlin Clark speak out on their behalf because they have zero power to make changes in basketball, unlike Caitlin and Sophie, who stood up. So, yeah, it is relevant to have that question brought to Caitlin Clark, the biggest star in all of women's basketball and see what her take is on it. The two things are not this. I'm sorry. You cannot run cover for her by saying, oh, no, you as Republicans don't want athletes weighing in on political matters. Correct.
Starting point is 00:07:23 I don't want her or anybody else weighing in on ice or Iran or taxes or any of that other bullshit. But this is an issue that is affecting their sport. The debate is hovering right over their sport like a hurricane that won't leave. And little girls are looking to them to lead the way out of this. It has to be answered. It has to be answered. Can men play in women's sports? Is it appropriate for men claiming that they are women falsely?
Starting point is 00:07:53 to be allowed into women's sports leagues, including the WMBA? How do people not see that this is an issue that's come to the WMBA and she owes an answer? Whatever. Suffer. Go ahead and suffer. I don't care about you people anymore, except to the extent I said before. What does it say about us as a society? What happens when there is no Heather McDonald on the race stuff or Parker, POSI, Kelly J. Keen, on the trans stuff to hold the line. What happens? This is what happens.
Starting point is 00:08:32 This weird, bizarre league is what happens. Skin color is everything. LGBTQ, who you want to stup is everything. And now we're starting to see the third rail, which is what your sexual or what your gender identity is could potentially be equally important. We're about to find out the answer to that one. So we should see it. You know, it's like kind of a Lord of the Flies situation. Now, in a great development, Ennis Cantor Freedom, he's been on this program before a six-foot-10 center, who was the third overall draft pick in the 2011 NBA draft, who played 11 years in the league, a former guest on the show, as I mentioned, now says that he is ready to join the WNBA. After careful consideration and review in the current eligibility guidelines, I am officially declaring myself a WMBA prospect.
Starting point is 00:09:30 If simply declaring who you are is all that's required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WMBA. My team and I have carefully examined the WMB's eligibility criteria and governing framework surrounding self-identification and inclusion. Based on the current guidelines, I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WMBA draft in May 2,000. I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of, or do suspect any community or personal choices. I am simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone. The rules that represent the very values many WMBA players and coaches have publicly advocated for. My team and I are prepared to ensure these guidelines are applied equally, consistently, and without exception. And I look forward to the WMBA honoring its stated principles.
Starting point is 00:10:19 See you at training camp. If you haven't seen the video, it's like, you can see how tall he is, even when he's seated. He's got a full face of facial hair. It's basically what Elliot Page wishes she looked like. The WMBA's collective bargaining agreement states that, quote, only players who are women are eligible to play in the WMBA. But it does not define what a woman is because even those woke weirdos didn't think that they'd have to. We know what a woman is. This is just a game of the left that we have to pretend we don't.
Starting point is 00:10:56 So now they have to actually have a meeting to decide are men who self-declare as women considered women under their collective bargaining agreement? What is a woman? They've got to answer that question now. Thanks to Cantor Freedom. They have to answer the question. What is a woman? They should bone up by watching Matt Wallace's movie, which was amazing, excellent, and put the absurdity to this entire debate.
Starting point is 00:11:25 But Cantor Freedom's actually not the only one who wants to find out. And God bless him, he's doing the Lord's work here. Because later on Friday, a guy named Royce White, the number 16 pick in the 2012 NBA draft, NBA, I say, also declared for the 2027 WNBA draft. Here he is on Outkick. Oh, earlier this week, I made the announcement. I'm transgender. I'm a woman. I identify as sometimes identifying as a woman for purposes of basketball, professional basketball. So I'll be declaring for the WMBA draft in 2027 as well. I mean, I think I'd be unstoppable. But I'm a team first guy. You know, I'm a past first kind of player. I do the little things. You know, I led my team in all five major stat categories at Iowa State University. So I do a little bit of every, I'll do whatever the coach needs me to do. I'll do whatever the girls need me to do. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:12:23 White, who is running to be the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Minnesota in tomorrow's primary, posted on X along with highlights of himself playing professional basketball in Canada, quote, I haven't even been publicly trans for 72 hours and I'm already getting so much hate. I just want to hoop with my girls in my feminine era. Why can't y'all be happy for me? Then on Sunday he posted on X along with this picture, quote, It came, y'all. My first wig. He's got like a below-shoulder-length wig on that appears to be blonde or have a lot of blonde highlights in it. Tomorrow I tested on the court. This is my feminine era glow-up. Did I slay? If you all don't yass queen, you're transphobic. I'm in love with this man. He's my hero. He and Cantor Freedom.
Starting point is 00:13:11 might sound like a joke, but the WMBA is, it has to take transgender participation seriously because it keeps telling us that it stands for inclusion and diversity. So what choice does it have? The Associated Press has obtained a memo sent to teams from WMBA Commissioner Kathy Engelbert calling it, a, quote, complex and nuanced topic. No, it's not. It's not only to lunatics that will be discussed by a task force of team presidents and general managers at a previously scheduled meeting next week, which we think is this week. We will bring you the latest with that, but the WMBA already has enough problems with its current players. There's more drama that happened over the weekend, and we think it's related to all of this, though not entirely clear.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Check out what happened to Sophie Cunningham. Again, she's on the Indiana fever, right? Is that what they're called? The fever. along with Caitlin Clark and the fever had a game against the Chicago Sky on Saturday. And look what happened to Sophie Cunningham in that game. Here's Cunningham up ahead of the field, weighs it in, plus the foul. And then Cunningham gets into the face of Dijunay Carrington right away in the aftermath. And Cunningham has to be separated as both teams will head to their benches. You'll see Adijunate Carrington and Sophie Cunningham comes down, gets her right across the face,
Starting point is 00:14:48 coming down, trying to prevent the layup, but that is just a hard hit. That's definitely going to be upgraded, I think, to a flagrant too, Ryan. I think that is going to be a flagrant too. There is wind up. And just getting her out of the way. I'll be stunned if this is not upgraded to a flagrant too. By the way, that's ESPN doing the commentary. So that's woke ESPN, who just the other week was telling us to go and listen to what that one WMBA coach said.
Starting point is 00:15:25 It was really profound to go listen to her, the one who was like advocating for trans in women's sports. That ESPN looked at that and said that's definitely going to be upgraded to a flagrant two penalty, which is worse than a flagrant one. And it was. and it meant an automatic ejection for this Dijunay Carrington. For the listening audience, Dijunay Carrington, is a black woman with super blonde, long hair. It's obviously a wig or a weave of some sort. And it's way longer than Sophie Cunningham's. And Sophie Cunningham, of course, is white.
Starting point is 00:16:05 The only one surprised by the decision seemed to be Dijunet Carington herself. Watch. defensive foul on Desjaneck Harrington has been upgraded to a flagrant foul penalty two. It was successful. Sophie Cunningham will receive two free throws to make one. There's wind up, there's follow through, there's potential for injury, the players in a vulnerable position. And so Dijunay Carrington, who had been off to an incredible start, is now ejected from the game following that hard foul on Sophie Cunningham. By the way, I'm just, I'm, I'm really curious. Why, why can Dijunay get away with wearing that
Starting point is 00:16:59 white woman's hair? Blonde, long, blonde, straight hair. And it's fine. And yet, I can't go to the Bahamas and get my hair in braids or have my daughter get her hair in braids or will be called racists. That's what's been happening for the past six years. Google it. So we can't have braids. And in fact, there's a push by some on the woke left. You can't You can't even wear like hoop earrings and do your lip liner outside of your lips as a white woman because that's cultural appropriation of Hispanic women. The braids are cultural appropriation of black women, but it's fine for Dijunay Carrington to wear her hair straightened, white blonde, and down to her rear end. That's fine. I'm like, somebody help me understand the rules, okay?
Starting point is 00:17:47 because I can't keep up. Is there no white culture to appropriate? Is that really how this works? Or are the rules on the, you know, braids in the Caribbean now off? Can we have the lip liner with the hoop earring? Somebody, where do we go to find out? Should I talk to AOC about how woke one was insane? Are the rules done now?
Starting point is 00:18:10 That's why Dijunay can do it? Oh, no, wait, she could always do it, couldn't she? Because it never worked both ways. moments after she was ejected. The shocked, shocked Dijunae Karrington posted on her Threads account, which tells you something. Threads. That's the social media company started by Mark Zuckerberg to compete with X when people went to a meltdown after Elon bought Twitter. So she has the Threads account.
Starting point is 00:18:34 She posted on it in all caps after she'd been ejected, quote, white privilege in all caps. It was Sophie Cunningham's white privilege. that you're not allowed to hurt her, I guess. You can't hurt the whites in the leak. I mean, again, tell it to Caitlin Clark, because I think you can hurt the whites. I think actually hurting the whites is totally fine. And the WMBA, it's encouraged, it's applauded.
Starting point is 00:18:57 It actually will make you somewhat of a heroin over on whatever weird threadsboard these ladies are attending. She hasn't elaborated on what she meant. I think we can figure it out. I think we know. You would expect everyone, on Sophie Cunningham's team
Starting point is 00:19:16 to be rushing to her side and to have her back. It was obvious. I know absolutely nothing about sports, but I can see what happened to Sophie. And I go to Jason Whitlock when I'm in doubt because he knows everything about sports and he's totally fair.
Starting point is 00:19:30 He's not some disgusting hack. And he was horrified by what this fever coach, Stephanie White, who's been an ongoing problem, had to say, after this happened to one of her own star players, to where, again, it was so egregious
Starting point is 00:19:49 that the refs thought it was a flagrant too, and the ESPN commentators saw it was a flagrant too. And yet, listen to what Sophie Cunningham's own coach, Stephanie White said after the game. Yeah, I mean, look, it was a hard foul. I don't think that Dijunay intentionally came out to get her across the neck like she did. But it did happen, and I thought it was a rough.
Starting point is 00:20:13 right call. But, you know, one of the things about Ney is that she's going to play her butt off, man. She's going to compete. Nobody's going to go walking in for a layup. And so I'm not, I don't oppose the hard foul. But I also don't think that she intentionally went for the net. I have a genuine question. Like, what happens to you when you join a woman's sports league like this? Do you turn into a man? Do you, are you intentionally trying to talk like a man? You know, like, I'm a tough guy now. The way she's talking, like, I don't think, you know, nay, she's never going to let somebody just come in and score the layup. Like, what do you?
Starting point is 00:20:49 Is this how you have to talk now? You can't just talk like a normal person. You have to pretend you're a dude. Is that what's cool? Because I have to say, virtually all of them sound like that. Virtually everybody in this WMBA league, when you hear them speak, you're like, what is that? Do you give up all femininity? Like, I, just because you're a lesbian basketball player doesn't mean you have to give up all femininity.
Starting point is 00:21:13 It doesn't mean you have to start talking like a dude. You have to lose all the G's off of your words. To be honest, it makes you sound stupid, Stephanie. Like, honestly, I have nothing but disdain for this league. I've got to be clear. It's so over them. I wouldn't be caught dead going to one of these games. I wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:21:33 I don't support them. I don't believe in what they do. I don't believe in their politics. I don't believe in their values at all, at all. Who is there to root for other than Sophie? Tell me. I'll root for Sophie by like liking her tweets. That's enough.
Starting point is 00:21:48 I want nothing to do with this league. Okay. And then yesterday on WNBA countdown, a show with which I've only become familiar upon saying its name right here, but it's apparently a show. people, I guess, watch this. Who? Who watches this? It's probably like the parents of the women who are in this league. In any event, it's a show on ESPN and one of the hosts is named Andrea Carter. And you'll be shocked, shocked to learn that she actually did come to Dijunet Carrington's defense. These are plays we've seen from Dijunay, right? So getting in the right position, jumping over the top, getting these transition blocks, she's always going to make that effort. Even for some of these, she's behind the offensive player coming over the top. So again, she was behind Sophie Cunningham.
Starting point is 00:22:42 She wasn't able to get over the top. Had she got over the top and made that play, we wouldn't have been talking about it. She was too far behind the play. The contact above the head was too much. But that's what Dijana Carrington does. Like it's not, this wasn't a, to me, this wasn't because it was Sophie Cunningham making the layup. Okay. the requirements to get a flagrant foul two are as follows.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Unnecessary and excessive contact committed by a player against an opponent. It is an unsportsmanlike act and the offender is ejected following confirmation by instant replay review. So to be clear, it needs to be unnecessary and excessive contact committed by a player against an opponent, an opponent. that is considered unsportsman-like. You don't have to prove that it was an intentional effort to harm another player, though, I think it was.
Starting point is 00:23:44 I think it's obvious. But whatever, who cares? You don't have to prove intent in this particular WNBA crime. So I'm not sure what that woman thinks she's defending. She should probably step out of her fake little courtroom
Starting point is 00:23:57 and spend some time Googling the actual offense requirements because it does not appear that this was a crime, a basketball crime that requires a certain mens rea or state of mind. It only needs to be unnecessary and excessive. Okay. This was not Dijunay's first brush with controversy. Two years ago, in the playoffs, she poked Caitlin Clark in the eye, though Clark said she thought it was not intentional. And here's Dijunay Carrington at a professional three-on-three event last year. year, if you look closely at her hoodie, she's such a badass guys. It reads, fuck Donald Trump. You're so tough. Oh, what a tough girl. But when you get ejected for your behavior, you have to go cry on threads about the white privilege. I don't know. I think a badass black beauty would not be over there on threads. It doesn't work for me at all. I know a lot of badass black beauties. That's not how they behave.
Starting point is 00:25:00 They are classy. They argue with their words and their intellect. And they don't wear foul t-shirts to express their politics, nor run to threads to play the race card when they get ejected based on fouls that many others have committed in the league, black and white, and got ejected over two, including Sophie Cunningham. Now, this Dijanae, whatever, she also caused drama over the WMBA's All-Star Weekend. year by alleging that her ex-girlfriend, the aces forward, Nalissa Smith, cheated on her with multiple
Starting point is 00:25:37 WMBA players before they split last year. Good Lord, who's got time for these petty people's drama? Meanwhile, this was circulating this weekend, Carrington at Stanford in 2019, when she was a student at the prestigious university. My dad played football and my mom ran track. And so they were both on collegiate scholarships. And then my dad went on to play in the NFL for eight seasons. And, And my sister played basketball in college, and she played at University of New Orleans. My brother played at the University of Oregon and University of Utah.
Starting point is 00:26:09 And when I was in high school, my mom was actually my head coach. My dad was her associate head coach, and my sister was one of the assistant coaches. It was a really fun dynamic and a really cool experience just to have my family surrounding me. I hope to return to school, get my master's and my PhD in psychology. And when I further that education,
Starting point is 00:26:28 I want to become either a forensic psychologist, or a behavioral analysis profile or you have to be ready to get better every day and every moment on the court. And I think just being able to do that on the court and be a role model for young girls. And it really humbles you and reminds you that you're playing for a bigger purpose. I'm playing obviously for my faith, my family, but also for all the young girls looking up to me and who aspire to do similar things. Oh, so she was normal. She's talking about her family and her faith. when did she turn gay?
Starting point is 00:27:02 When did she get the white girl hair? When did she join threads and start tweeting about white privilege? When did she convert to let's wear a sweatshirt that reads fuck Donald Trump? Like, is this what this league does to you? And this is why parents don't want to send their kids to college because they're worried that these universities will do this to you. Is this a persona she's adopted to fit in in this bizarre toxic league to survive, to be cool, to have friends?
Starting point is 00:27:29 because she sounded totally normal there. She dual majored at Stanford in psychology and African American studies. Not great. Not great. Neither one is going to provide a paying job. So, you know, the WMBA is probably the best thing she's got going right now and when it comes to the paychecks. But I think she was on a better path, at least, pursuing her degrees and sounding and behaving, I think, like a normal person instead of like some sort of black divest. with her bizarre tweeting habits and sweatshirts.
Starting point is 00:28:03 When you sign your insurance policy for some brokers, that's the finish line. Bye! You may not hear from them again until it's time for renewal. But your business runs all year, and so do the gaps in the risk, which is why I want to tell you about Super Sure. If your company has more than 25 employees,

Joining me now to discuss it all, Sean Davis, he's CEO and co-founder of the Federalist and Sarab Amari, who's U.S. editor of Unheard. Guys, welcome back. Great to have you. Sean, I mean, what am I missing here in the dynamics of this league and between these ladies? Oh, man, I like, where do we even get started?
Starting point is 00:29:22 I knew it was bad when Spirit Airlines went bankrupt. I didn't understand that the low IQ race war energy was just going to manifest itself in the WNBA afterwards. I think it's a real tragedy. I know people go watch those games because they like to see basketball. I don't think they generally like that it's turned into like UFC fights. If you're going to have a bunch of people fighting over nonsense, like let's get Dana White involved. The dude's a great fight promoter. This business of trying to close on people when they're doing.
Starting point is 00:29:55 and layups and defenseless. It's utterly ridiculous. And I think the reality of what's going on here and we just need to be able to say it is that the WNBA is welfare for black lesbians. That's what it is. It can't exist on its own. It doesn't make enough money. It is a charity sponsored by the NBA so black lesbians can get extra money that they wouldn't be able to get otherwise. And it's why they hate Sophie Cunningham. And it's why they hate Caitlin Clark. And it, they don't care that they're getting more money or they can fly on charter jets now instead of commercial because of these two. Those two don't belong. They're getting too much attention.
Starting point is 00:30:33 And so they have to be taken out. And to watch a coach go and defend other players taking out her own players is so insane. I had to watch the clip several times. If you had something like this happened in a men's league, either NBA or baseball, let's say somebody beans your player in baseball, they're getting beaned back. If you have a pitcher who's hitting someone and the pitcher comes up to bat, they're getting nailed. Those are the rules. If you do a hard foul on someone in the NBA like that, you are getting it back at you.
Starting point is 00:31:04 That's how you take care of your team and have some sort of like a doctrine of mutually assured destruction that if you're going to go and take cheap shots, you're going to get taken out as well. So to see a coach go and do it for utterly political woke reasons, defend her players being taken out, is so insane that I had trouble processing it. You would never see that in the week ever. Nor would you ever have seen that if Dijanae had been white and Sophie Cunningham had been black? There is zero chance, sirab, that that coach Stephanie White would have felt the need to say, you know, basically I know her heart was in the right place and she's such a tough fighter.
Starting point is 00:31:45 And I don't agree that she did this intentionally, but it's fine to do zero chance. It was a pander. It was a race-based pander. Yeah, I feel like we would have a national reckoning and a national conversation if the racial dynamics were reversed. But look, I'll be honest here. Like, this whole world of WNBA drama is somewhat new to me. Like, I had not paid so much attention to the WMBA ever in my life until the last couple of weeks at all. And it began to appear on my radar.
Starting point is 00:32:18 What I will say is it feels like what they used to. say about academia, that the fights are so vicious because the stakes are so low, that's, it feels, it has a hot house quality. And I've seen now calls circulating about the NBA dropping the WNBA because actually it is a subsidiary of the NBA. And it's, as, as Sean pointed out, it's an unprofitable one. The only area of this that I think rises to actual serious national attention is the stuff you covered at the beginning, Megan, And that has to do with the politics of biological males in women's sports and the fact that a significant share of like important personalities, coaches, players, et cetera, in the WNBA seem to be rooting for their own prede, like their own successors in the game, younger girls, having to play against, you know, biological males who have much greater stamina, much greater muscle mass, all the things that that we know. So, for example, you mentioned the Minneapolis coach.
Starting point is 00:33:24 I think it's the Minneapolis Lynx. I can't remember what the name of the team is. But she had worn that T-shirt that said, trans kids belong, which they do, but that's like I don't belong to what? They belong to society? Yes, they belong to their parents. They belong to their school. Fine.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Does that mean, therefore, they belong in a game in which they have this unfair physical advantage over their competitors? No. And it's just this kind of brain dead sloganeering that you remember from a while ago and you thought had gone away. And lots of sectors of American society have moved on. I will, I'll take a claim on this. We are not living in 2020 anymore. Certain things have been beaten back either at the ballot box or in the public square. But there are certain sectors of society that are stuck. One of them is, for example, mainstream publishing. it's still 2020 as far as like the big imprints are concerned. Another one is some universities and apparently the WNBA had no idea is still fully in like
Starting point is 00:34:27 2020 mode and it's kind of nice to see maybe the rest of the country drag them out of that 2020 mode with some ruthless. I don't think we're dragging them out. But it's interesting to see what we could have become. You know, it's like this is this is the other universe behind the other curtain. if we had stayed, if we had done it all the way AOC wanted, the way all these woke warriors wanted. This is what we would have become as a nation. By the way, my team lets me know that DeJunet claims she is straight, but only dated that one teammate, female teammate. Okay, I don't think
Starting point is 00:35:04 that's how it works, but whatever, I don't care. I'm over this person's drama. I'm over all of their drama. I do wonder, though, Sean, you know, you look at it, it's like, truly this is why half of us worry about sending our kids to college or into a league. If you're a conservative mom or dad and you've got a daughter who's an amazing basketball player and maybe is getting recruited to play basketball at a university and you see this is what's on the other side, you've got to be afraid. You've got to be worried they take what looks like and sounds like a totally normal, sweet Christian girl, which is how Dijunay sounded when she was at Stanford and turn her
Starting point is 00:35:44 into the white blonde hair down to the backside, you know, white privilege. Fuck Donald Trump. Now she's sleeping with women version of the sweetheart you raised. This is a legit concern by a lot of parents I know who are not even necessarily Republicans, but more right-minded in their thinking. Yeah, I love the claim that she's not lesbian, but all her girlfriends were. Like, you can't make this stuff up. First off, her name is like a portmanteau of hamburger condiments.
Starting point is 00:36:18 So like, what are we even doing there? Or a hot dog, it depends. Yeah. Maybe next year we'll see a magical star out of L.A., like ketchup, mustard. I don't know. The whole thing, it is so dumb. But you're correct. You send your kids off.
Starting point is 00:36:34 If you haven't reared them correctly, you send them off, and they are going to get eaten alive. And maybe it's in college, maybe it's in corporate America. maybe it's in trying to be famous. I don't know what happens, but these people who don't seem to have a rudder or a court, they are the ones who are completely targeted and victimized by these completely insane, social identity-obsessed Bolsheviks.
Starting point is 00:36:59 And I don't know what the solution is. I guess if you've raised someone and you've let them out into the world by the time they're 18, and they don't have any sort of immunological defenses to this woke virus, there's kind of nothing you can do. I mean, the dye has...
Starting point is 00:37:13 been cast at this point, but it really is sad because nobody sends their kids off, especially to a place like Stanford thinking, I hope they come back a retarded lesbian. That's what I'm looking to get out of like 75 grand year. I want a retarded lesbian wearing super long blonde weeds. That's what we're all going for here. And yet it seems to happen over and over again. These are not hashtag goals. It's like, hey, I am totally fine. If my kids wind up being gay or lesbian, totally fine with that. I don't want a school turning them into one. If they're, if they came into this world with that predilection doesn't look like that's what's happened with my children. They're still all young, very young, but they seem to have healthy attractions for the opposite sex.
Starting point is 00:37:54 But like if they just showed up that way, that'd be one thing. If the WNBA makes them into a lesbian, it's a totally different thing. I object to the whole situation. And so Robb, you mentioned Megan Rapino, God forbid. She just keep her mouth shut. But she's already, made her millions. So she's perfectly comfortable being the woke warrior, letting girls like my daughter who plays soccer endanger themselves if they run into boys posing as girls in their sport. She doesn't care at all. She's like Peter Dinklage, pulling the ladder up after her. Remember how Peter Dinklage didn't want Dwarfs in the live version of Snow White and the seven Dors? And he's the most famous dwarf in the world. But he pulled up the ladder and those little dwarfs need a ladder. And he pulled it up. And
Starting point is 00:38:40 they became CGI characters. In any event, that's Megan Rapino now when it comes to soccer and sports. And here's a bit more of what she said that you referenced a second ago, SOT 11. After the article was published, Cunningham defended her comments and was recently photographed with Riley Gaines
Starting point is 00:38:57 at an Indiana fever game. I don't know Sophie, so I can only project what I see about her beliefs based on her actions. And seeing a picture of her with Riley Gaines after the game told me everything I need to know about what's happening. Riley Gaines has made it her life's mission to exclude trans people from public life. You can hear it even in the language being used that the
Starting point is 00:39:21 root of trans exclusion is to protect young girls from men. To be clear, I would love to have that conversation and it's much needed in this country. But it frames the conversation as if we're protecting young girls from men being in WMBA locker rooms. Not happening. It villainizes trans girls as if they're somehow magically older than their peers or are men, when in reality they are also young girls. Okay, first of all, these are lies. But second of all, irrelevant, irrelevant how old the boy is who's pretending to be a girl.
Starting point is 00:40:02 I want to start with this, though. there are men pretending to be girls going into girls locker rooms. She should familiarize herself with Rebel News and what's happening up in Canada as Melody Wiseheart, a 50-plus-year-old man has been swimming with 12-year-old girls and getting changed in locker rooms with them with girls as young as eight. And our friends up there in our evil tap hat, as Michael Knowles calls it, are allowing it to happen to their doctors because they're so woke they don't want to call it out. Secondly, let me just give you a couple of examples of what had happened with age-appropriate boys,
Starting point is 00:40:37 pretending to be girls and what they're doing to girls in girls' sports. We've talked about Peyton McNabb, who took that volleyball to the face so hard that she got permanent brain damage and arm damage. This has become a famous case. She spoke out. She's from North Carolina. This is the boy on the right slamming that volleyball. Men have volleyball nets that are seven and a half inches higher than girls.
Starting point is 00:41:00 because they're so much taller, and he was playing at a girl's game with a girl's lowered net, and he seriously hurt an actual girl. This is how sorry that kid was after he found out what happened to Peyton McNabb. You tell me if he seems sad about what happened to her, 12 or 13. Senior year recap.
Starting point is 00:41:26 If you want to have a senior year just like me, follow these steps. One, endure the hell that is school volleyball. Two, hit a girl in the face and make national news getting national hate. I was on Fox News twice. Number three, find out that your athletic director and your coach have been outing you to every school you've played since freshman year. Against your will. Number four, get kicked off your old club volleyball team that you've been playing on for seven years.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Total Drama Island style. I got voted off by the parents. Number five, try out for the only other good club team near you, and you get cut because of the national news that you're a faggot. Number six, contemplate quitting volleyball. Number seven, don't quit volleyball. Number eight, commit to the Kennesaw State on a full scholarship. Number nine, get your scholarship taken a,
Starting point is 00:42:29 way because you told the coach that you're a tranny. Meaning a boy. Okay, not sorry at all. In fact, full of contempt for anybody who won't go along with his delusion. Then there, I just want to remind the audience, then there is middle school. This one middle school athlete had their case go all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court. He was playing in West Virginia across from Adelaia Cross and Adelaia alleged that this man, this boy, middle schooler, going by BPJ in the litigation, made multiple explicit remarks to her, including two to three times a week. BPJ would look at Adelaia and say, alleges Adelaia, quote, suck my D, only would say the word. There were usually other girls around who heard it.
Starting point is 00:43:21 She heard BPJ say it multiple times to her teammates as well. BPJ made other more explicit sexual statements that he felt were, that were threatening to Adelaia, including, I'm going to stick my D into your P word and into your A as well. So that's what Adelaia had to put up with, unlike Megan Rapino's sweet little boys who, this is not happening. They're not making anyone in locker rooms feel threatened. Get over it. This is not a thing. And then there is the wrestler who alleges that she was sexually assaulted in Washington in December. This past December, here's the wrestling match. What we didn't know at the time was that Callie Keeler, the actual girl in this match, was being
Starting point is 00:44:07 sexually assaulted. She did not know that she was wrestling against a biological male right there. That male, unbeknownst to us, was sticking his fingers up her vagina, which is being alleged by the actual female. she screamed at the time to her mother that the opponent's fingers were, quote, in my kucci, and then she let herself be pinned just so that it would stop. This complaint of hers was ignored by her school, which is a mandatory reporter that has an obligation to report sexual assaults, but didn't because of ideology. I don't think we're going to be hearing about this from Megan Rapino, Sorab.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Yeah, just one thing, Megan, I feel like Sean and I should. start getting honorarium checks if we have to watch those videos because that was that was legitimately painful to watch i mean that's that's a case of an obvious case of mental illness and i you know honestly this country needs to bring back involuntary impatient care which which was a part of our medical fabric and and i think what we have now with with just of we allow people's symptoms we we affirm them instead of treating them as symptoms and this is a crime again against medical progress, honestly. I mean, I joke about it, but it's also really painful to watch.
Starting point is 00:45:27 And then to think that that person, that young boy, faced off against actual women on the sporting field is horrifying to think about. And you know, you sometimes hear, it's like, oh, this is the new line you hear. Some progressives now know it's a bad issue. They know it's like an 80, 20 issue or maybe a 90-10 issue against them. But they'll be like, it's such a small portion. and it's such a little bit of America. It's a slice of American life.
Starting point is 00:45:54 It doesn't. Well, theoretically, lots of people are parents, and lots of parents are parents of daughters. And so this is one of those issues where I don't care what you are on your other issues. And as you both know, I'm a lot more sympathetic to like old school economic leftism. However, people will always first vote for the party or the side that upholds basic reality, basic reality that the human species has two sexes, male and female, and there are fundamental differences that acknowledging these differences makes the world
Starting point is 00:46:33 legible and sensible. And when you try to collapse them, you end up in the worldview of that video, that person you played that video. That's a lunatic worldview. In some part, you sort of pity the person. he's in need of medical, assistant, psychiatric assistance. But we don't want to all the rest of us,
Starting point is 00:46:54 you know, sort of live in his head. No, it does seem clear that he is mentally unwell and desperately needs actual psychiatry, not the kind that just affirms, affirms, affirms, affirms to make themselves feel good. But that's what the American pediatric society, the American psychiatric society is still recommending. Affirm, affirm.
Starting point is 00:47:14 It's truly crazy. the Megan Rapino lies have the national dominant narrative. And just one point to remember, the UCLA School of Law did a study and said that it estimated the number of trans youth in high school sports right now to be over 120,000. So do not let them get away with saying it's such a small issue. That's UCLA School of Law. it was argued before the Supreme Court in an effort to stop the bans saying, look how many thousands of youth you're going to affect if you allow states to issue these
Starting point is 00:47:54 bans. And the Supreme Court said, not our problem. They're allowed to issue these bans. But that is from School of Law, UCLA, and trans advocates who say it's over 120,000 at the high school level. It's not a small issue. My daughter and your daughters are going to have to deal with this unless more and more people find their courage like Sophie Cunningham did. So that's why, Sean,
Starting point is 00:48:16 and his canter freedom and this other guy, Royce, are heroes. And the WMBA is in quite a pickle now. So you got all these coaches and players on the record saying they are pro trans athletes playing in women's sports. So this is where the rubber meets the road. What do they do? Yeah, I think they're going to do one of two things. I might disagree here. I don't think they're going to have a hard time dismissing this. I think one, they may define a woman as someone who's never played in a professional men's sports league. So that's how they're going to immediately get rid of the Royce whites, the Ennis Canters,
Starting point is 00:48:58 anybody who's played professionally, whether it's in Europe or in the U.S. They'll say, yeah, yeah, yeah, obviously we only want women. And, of course, trans women are women. But if you played in a men's professional league, you know, clear. you're not trans. So that's number one, what they might do. Number two, which I think is probably more likely is they're just going to have a collusive environment where they refuse to draft anyone like Roy's Wright or in his canter. There's clearly some sort of implicit kind of coordinating going on. That's how you end up with that coach defending the assault of her own player, whether it's
Starting point is 00:49:32 Stockholm syndrome or they're all in it on it ideologically. I don't know. But I, I suspect if you had those guys go into the draft, they're just simply not going to get drafted if they're even allowed to sit for the draft. I think they've started something and you can get them out, but you're not going to get the next ones out. These guys are becoming wise to how to push this battle, and I love it. Stand by.
Starting point is 00:49:57 What were the guys after this? You don't wait until your house is on fire to install a smoke detector. You don't wait until the wind and rain, hammer your windows, and the power goes out to prepare for a hurricane. You don't reach for your seatbelt after you've had a crash because after the crash, the hurricane or the house fire, it's all too late. Similarly, you do not wait until the dollar goes to zero before you buy gold. It's too late then too. So consider diversifying with precious metals right now because you never know what will threaten your savings next.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Persistent inflation, we've all been feeling that, a weakening dollar, unexpected financial disruptions. You don't know what's coming. but you can take a preventative step right now. One option requesting a free info kit on gold from Birch Gold Group. Just text my initials, MK to the number 98, 98, 98-9-8. There is no cost, there is no obligation, they're not about pressuring you. You will just get straightforward information on how you can diversify your savings, even an IRA or a 401k, if you're interested, with gold.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Birch Gold is a great option to consider. Find out more by texting MK to the number 98-98-98. Back with me now are Sean Davis of the Federalist and Sarab Amari of Unheard. We have got to talk about AOC, trying to just shrug off as like Dijonet, sleeping with that one lesbian, like a youthful indiscretion, the excesses of woke, which now she wants to call woke one, as though it's separate and distinct and can be something that's disavowed unlike woke two. It's all woke. Woke is one thing. It's been foisted on us by lunatics like AOC for the better part of 10 plus years now, longer, really. And listen to her trying to dismiss it because they're talking about this Francesca Wong or Hong in Wisconsin, the nutcase who wanted to cancel Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:51:59 Because it's, I don't know, whatever it is, colonialist settlement. We shouldn't be celebrating it. I can't keep up with their nutcases. But listen to this. I'm sure you've seen. I mean, she's, you know, the Thanksgiving dust up. She says she doesn't, you know, still believe that. But, you know, the abolished prisons, abolished police,
Starting point is 00:52:20 which is also positions that have been taken by a lot of the progressive candidates who have won. How do you get around that? Yeah. Those are not positions that are supported by most people. Right. I mean, I think that my understanding is that Francesca Hong has made clear her present to her electorate. She's moved away from a lot of that. She's moved away from it.
Starting point is 00:52:42 And I have a local city councilman that has this saying woke one was crazy. One was crazy. Okay. That's true. I mean, did the movement go too far with some of those positions? I mean, you briefly supported the idea of defunding the police. I think that during this time and during, especially during COVID, there was a huge opening of the Overton window.
Starting point is 00:53:07 And I think that the doors were really open in trying to entertain any and every policy that was going to get us to a better place. Oh, my God. Okay. Oh, you, and Jonathan Carrell, what a fool. He's completely enamored with her. Like, she's got him leading him around by the balls, which disappeared during that segment. This is her June 2020 on X.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Defunding police means defunding police. It does not mean budget tricks or funny math. Here she goes on September 2020 during a House hearing. Far too much of the discussion around the issue of white supremacist infiltration of policing focuses on whether the problem exists at all. And we have known for generations that it is not a question about whether this problem is an issue. It is a matter of how we have allowed it to sustain for so long. She wants to abolish ICE.
Starting point is 00:54:00 She wants to abolish DHS. She wants to trans children. There are plenty of comments about that on the House floor. and outside, but this business about the cops, you guys. So Aos, it's been a very long time since she had to support herself by Sling and Margaritas. She makes a nice living, and she's got a social media presence. This woman is not hurting for paychecks, as evidenced by her newfound love of fertility treatments to freeze her eggs, which just six years ago, she was saying she didn't think she could afford.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Now she's doing these some estimated $20,000 treatment for kicks, because she could just have a baby the old-fashioned way. she's with a guy, they've been together for five plus years, you don't have to freeze eggs in that situation. She's got money, is my point. Unlike the inner city children who were killed, who were gunned down in the towns, she advocated, get rid of their police forces.
Starting point is 00:54:55 I am so infuriated by this. Heather McDonald, who I know we all trust, is the preeminent authority on keeping track of the damage caused by the BLMers like AOC. and she estimates based on actual data that she got from the FBI. This is not her finger in the wind. 2,500 additional black homicides happened in the immediate aftermath of the summer of 2020 as a result of the bastardization of the police around America,
Starting point is 00:55:21 thanks to people like AOC. 2,500. This is to say nothing of what happened to Asians and whites and Indians and so on. This is just blacks. 2,500 of them killed in the immediate aftermath of summer of 2020, thanks to her insanity. I'm just going to give you a couple of names, okay? Don McNeil, 11-year-old boy. He was shot by a bullet on July 4th, 2020, and southeast Washington, D.C.
Starting point is 00:55:49 as he returned to an anti-violence cookout organized by his mother. Legend, Talaferro, 4-year-old boy, shot in June 2020. His killing in late June actually inspired the namesake for the Department of Justice Operation Legend. He was shot sleeping inside of an apartment at 2.30 a.m. in Kansas City, Missouri. Secoria Turner, Turner, eight years old, shot and killed on July 4th in Atlanta, Jersey, Georgia. Sorry, she was riding in a car near a Wendy's restaurant. We could go on from there. Don and Sandra McDia, sorry, Don and Sandra Samuels are Minneapolis community activists. They came on this show before we had audio. It was July of 2021. July. July.
Starting point is 00:56:31 one year and one month post George Floyd, post AOC's push to defund the police, which they did. They did in city after city, including Minneapolis, where my friends, who I'm just about to show you, lived. In Minneapolis, they defunded starting January of 2021. This is July of 2021. And listen to what they said for the listening audience. They happen to be black. They live in these communities. They were very against defunding cops. And listen here. And we are disproportionately impacted. 10-year-old, La Davion Garrett shot in the head, driving with his father in our neighborhood. He's still struggling for his life. He's alive.
Starting point is 00:57:11 And this was all within the last couple of months. But we don't know what the quality of his life will be, even if he, and we pray that he survives. A nine-year-old Trinity Otisson Smith, she was shot while jumping on a trampoline, just a block from our home. at a party. And she was shot in the head. She did not survive. And then there was six-year-old Anaya, who we call Naya Allen. And she was shot at coming, getting a happy meal with her mom in the car, in the head.
Starting point is 00:57:46 And Anaya didn't survive either. Sarad, how dare she? Yeah. Megan, as you remember, I was at the New York Post at the time. So I paid a lot of attention to what? what happened in New York City with New York City crime in the aftermath of Black Lives Matter and the George Floyd riots and so on. And obviously the numbers, you read off, but I'll never forget the case of a one-year-old named DeVell Gardner Jr. DeVell Gardner was shot in the belly.
Starting point is 00:58:22 One-year-old died. And I remember the funeral because he had like a kind of cartoon character casket, like a – a cocoa melon casket. And I just, that side of that, I'll never forget. And so you're right, the way that AOC just sort of flippantly says like, ah, well, yeah, we just, we tried some crazy stuff. Like, as though it was in college, you know, like we experimented a little bit. It's like, no, you were a grownup.
Starting point is 00:58:51 And look, if you want to say I was wrong then and then explain how your views have evolved, what do you believe about policing? and what were you wrong about? And you're right. And what changed your view? What changed your view? And Jonathan Carl was like trying to help her being like, of course, yeah, it wasn't a big deal.
Starting point is 00:59:08 I know. It's like, wait a second. Aren't you supposed to be like at least a little bit inquisitive, a little adversarial and press her? Like, so what was crazy about woke one? And how is it different from whatever has come to succeeded? What have you learned? Nothing like that.
Starting point is 00:59:23 He was like sort of chuckling along to help her. and is exactly right in this area of law and order this wrecked a great deal of havoc and later in the same interview AOC goes on to say that we had as a result of it lots of useful conversation or productive conversations
Starting point is 00:59:44 and the upshot of those productive conversation is that a lot of blue localities they went back to refunding the police and they dropped this stuff like the sort of defund ideology so is that what she means is by productive conversation is we were proved to be wrong that in fact if you remove policing you're going to have more crime which anyone could have told them at the time as
Starting point is 01:00:06 well it's like what did they mean by it was crazy but we've changed so what made you change how have you change same thing with the thanksgiving lady you know she's now it's uh Francesca such a pandera says something like it's my favorite holiday well it wasn't you you know you said it would hurt people other You know, people in our communities, they always use these plural. Communities are hurt by Thanksgiving and it's bad and we should maybe get rid of it. And now it's my favorite holiday. Again, so what did you go through? Is there going to be some sort of reckoning for why went wrong?
Starting point is 01:00:40 Or Sareb, press her, press her on her, take her previous position and argue it to her. What do you mean? We are a colonialist settler society. We have oppressed Native Americans and the indigenous people here from the start. How could you feel comfortable with Thanksgiving? Don't you think that's wrong? Don't you think it's, do you celebrate Columbus Day too? Like what?
Starting point is 01:01:07 Press her that way. There are all sorts of ways into it that the media won't do because they only have interest in running cover for these villains. Sean AOC in her push for defunding the cops and demonizing the cops. literally got people killed. And in other instances, because she was an equal proponent of cancel culture,
Starting point is 01:01:31 I could show you tweet after tweet and comment after comment where she defended it. And that may not have led to the end of lives, but it certainly ruined. Plenty of them. Ruined. And I'm just going to give you
Starting point is 01:01:45 a couple of examples because to me, they're equally as heartbreaking as people who were killed because they were innocent Americans who didn't do anything wrong or did something mildly offensive who had their entire careers yanked from under them and seriously hurt.
Starting point is 01:02:04 The first one that comes to mind is Jody Shaw. She was an administrator at Smith College. She came on this program and talked all about it. In a great interview, that remains one of my favorites. It was from episode 59, so it was early on. And it got started because she went on Facebook one night, very mild mannered and said, I don't, I don't want to talk about my whiteness as the condition of doing my job. I don't want to be told I have implicit bias in order to keep my paycheck at Smith College in an administrative role.
Starting point is 01:02:37 And one thing led to another. They forced her out. I touched base with her about a year and a half ago. Her life still had not recovered. She hadn't found another job. She was shoveling snow to try to support her two children. F, AOC and her banal attempts to wipe this all the way. Cancel culture and woke one as just like, ha, ha, ha, temporary insanity.
Starting point is 01:03:03 Here's Jody Shaw, the original part of the original video, Dear Smith. Watch this. I ask that Smith College stop reducing my personhood to a racial category. Stop telling me what I must think and feel about my. myself because I feel like you do that a lot. I know you do that a lot and I need you to stop doing that. Stop presuming to know who I am or what my culture is based upon my skin color because you don't know that. You don't know that about anybody except for yourself. Stop asking me to project stereotypes and assumptions onto others based upon their skin color. Okay. Here's AOC on cancel culture.
Starting point is 01:03:53 The term cancel culture comes from entitlement. Odds are you're not actually canceled. You're just being challenged, held accountable, or unliked. What happened? Is Jody Smith? Was she being held accountable? She was let go from Smith College because she said, stop making me talk about skin color all the time.
Starting point is 01:04:11 And then just one more for you, Sean. We could be here all day if we went through the victims of woke culture, but just pulled a couple randos. There's Mimi Groves. You may remember that name. and you might not know why, but I'll remind you, you'll know it when I tell it to you. She was the young girl who got into the University of Tennessee on a cheerleading scholarship, and then some villain at her school released a three-second video of her when she was a sophomore
Starting point is 01:04:41 in high school getting her license, singing, I Can Drive N-word. I guess there's some song out there that is or was very popular where the, the, the singer says, I can drive and then says the N-word. And it shows her saying that along with the actual N-word, along with the song. She sent this five-second video to a friend. There was another person in the room, a man, a teenage boy. He videotaped it over the friend's shoulder, is my understanding, held on to it for two years until Mimi Grove got accepted at the University of Tennessee on a cheerleading scholarship,
Starting point is 01:05:24 which is no joke. Those girls and young men are serious acrobats like serious gymnasts. It's not the cheerleading of my day in the 80s. And they yanked it. They yanked her scholarship and they said either you will withdraw your acceptance at this university or we're pulling it. And she withdrew. And the last I heard she was at a community college somewhere. I can't stand this from AOC. Again, look at how cavalier she is about what she helped do to so many innocents. Look at it. I have a local city councilman that has this saying,
Starting point is 01:06:06 woke one was crazy. Oak one was crazy. It's disgusts me, Sean Davis. Disgusts. Yeah, yeah. She's basically the hot dog meme guy saying we're all trying to figure out who did this. But I do think it is really instructive for two reasons. One, you get to see how clownish the corporate media is.
Starting point is 01:06:25 You know, Tim Russert, who hosted Meet the Press forever, the guy used to be a Democrat Senate staffer. I think he was a chief of staff in the Senate. And yet he went on television and he would challenge everyone. He would come out with their full quotes. You never knew how he was going to get you. He was an equal opportunity attacker. He came after the left and right. And he made you defend past statements.
Starting point is 01:06:46 and if you changed your mind, he made you defend why you changed your mind and why you were renouncing what you previously said. Instead, we have Jonathan Carl here who before he even brings it up, explains it for it. No, no, no, no. AOC, no. You briefly said we should defund the police. Intent. Yeah, he's trying to contextualize it before he even makes her answer to it and then just giggles like a little schoolgirl. She said, oh, you know, well, one was crazy. It's instructive her answer because this is how little bullshit. which is what she is, this is how they work.
Starting point is 01:07:19 Words to them have no fixed meaning. Now, to us, we say things, we assume that other people know what they mean, and they mean the same thing over time and space. That is not how Leptis and Bolsheviks like AOC work. Words are how you manipulate people in the moment. She understands that the stuff she said previously, which, by the way, she 100% still believes,
Starting point is 01:07:39 are inconvenient. So now she's going to pretend, oh, yeah, that was kind of crazy, knowing she's not going to be held account for it, And she is going to go ahead and start trying to implement the exact same insanity with all of her insane little friends going forward. They are fundamentally dishonest, untrustworthy, manipulative people. And it's not often that we get to see them show that so clearly like we did in that clip. So I think she and John Carl did everyone a huge value, one by him showing him the world what a ridiculous lap dog he is, and her showing everyone how willing she is to lie and pretend she didn't say or believe things.
Starting point is 01:08:14 we know she still believes. You know, the one other silver lining of that conversation, Sarab, is that it's a white flag. That we've won. Those of us, all three on this panel and beyond, who fought the woke movement, it's excesses. That would be way underplaying what it did to our country, have won. She is showing her belly. First, she took her pronouns out of her Twitter bio after they got killed in that election.
Starting point is 01:08:48 And we haven't even gotten into what the woke exorcists did to our children with the trans movement. But she is on her back showing her belly wiggling right now as she gears up for a likely 2028 run, abandoning woke, which means we've officially won. I think that's largely correct. Like I said, there are certain. sectors of American society who that completely pretend like we haven't and and they're still sort of carrying on as before but largely speaking at the ballot box in terms of where city local
Starting point is 01:09:25 city councils are with the basic need for policing or the basic now increasingly even blue cities that realize these kind of urban cores they've created where there's like rampant addiction and mental illness and the philosophy was not to confront them are a bad idea. It's even telling, you got to say, in New York City, on the far west side of Manhattan, a kind of a Mamdaniville, I call it, has sprung up, a kind of homeless encampment. Now, in Manhattan, that's very rare, partly because the city is so, this geography is so tight, you can't really set up encampments. And B, I mean, the city has just resisted it for a long time. Mbdawny would, you know, has somewhat hindered the NYPD from confronting these.
Starting point is 01:10:13 They have to, like, give them seven days of outreach workers going in and talking to them and gently moving around. But at the end of the day, he is sending sanitation workers to try to clean them up, which is, I know, like, starting, you know, baby steps, right? So it's like a step forward. So there is something filtering through because at the end of the day, we're a small D democracy and these movements are responsive. They realize how on.
Starting point is 01:10:38 popular all this stuff was but i'm still a little bit with sean where i'm like so what what did you learn what was the like what led you to it's bad politics it's beyond that right like that's not persuasive to if you're if you want to have a national electorate listening to you and i do wish look it's good that jonathan carl exposed him but i i do want to see other outlets sorry exposed her You do want to see other outlets kind of pick up the mantle of that Tim Russert-style questioning that Sean alluded to, which is like being like, okay, no, but here's the, let me read you the full statement, right? He didn't do that. I can't. Let me hear some of the names of the children who are killed. Right. Then you'll be doing your jobs, members of the media. Right. Let me hear Jody Shaw's name or Mimi Gross. Let me hear that. And let let let make her respond. Show their pictures. Put their, say their names, right? Isn't that the big thing? in the BLM, say their names, say their names to AOC, the people she helped get killed by taking away the police force that meant to protect the people she claimed to want to help.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Okay, let's keep going. A couple of other things. Before we leave AOC, can we talk about the egg freezing? It's very strange. She's a 36-year-old woman in a long-term love relationship, and she's deciding to freeze her. I know lots of 36-year-old women who actually want to freeze their eggs. Not one has a boyfriend. What is this?
Starting point is 01:12:08 Like, what are you doing? You say you're in love with this guy. Here she is, SOT 18. Usually I keep my private life quite private. But we miss those days. I have made the decision to start freezing my eggs. And I want to share that with anyone. Because I was weighing it for a very long time.
Starting point is 01:12:30 You know, I was saving for it for a very long time. and there just isn't a ton out there. And as women in general, we are not taught about our bodies. We are not prepared for our own lives, whether that is in puberty, whether that is in pregnancy, whether that is in perimenopause, menopause. Okay. There's something wrong with your mother if you were not taught about puberty, your period, menopause, fertility.
Starting point is 01:13:01 I'm sorry. Like, that's what your, that's, it's called a mom or a grandma or an aunt. Your abuelita, perhaps should have spoken to you about these things. You should not arrive to adulthood completely clueless on all of this. And she acts like, Sean, she's got to be the one because just nobody knows about how to freeze your. It's fucking called YouTube. You type in freezing my eggs. And you can find out anything you want about any subject on earth. We don't need her to do it.
Starting point is 01:13:30 And it really just seems like a I am woman hear me roar moment given the boyfriend and the love relationship. And the fact that she's perfectly capable apparently of getting pregnant the old fashioned way right now, but somehow wants us to celebrate. She's going to postpone it. Yeah, the whole thing. What I'm showing now? Oh, we don't need to watch her instructional video.
Starting point is 01:13:49 Go ahead, Sean. The whole thing is so bizarre. And you're right. If you've reached your torta phase before you know where babies come from, we've got a lot bigger problems. But I find the thing so weird. because she's been engaged for five years. I think she's been dating this guy for like 10.
Starting point is 01:14:04 So I can only assume one of two things. One, she just doesn't want to have kids with this guy, which, man, can you imagine him right now? Or two, or two, she does want to have kids with him, but she wants to do a little genetic engineering, like maybe take the ginger gene out. You know, maybe make sure they got a little more a little. Is he a ginger? Oh, he's super ginger. Like, yeah, like 50 SPF out in the sun gender. So, like, maybe she just doesn't want that.
Starting point is 01:14:32 I don't know. That is amazing. Why do we have to watch that, by the way? Why is she? I know. She's like, I know it's private. Yeah, it is. Just keep it there.
Starting point is 01:14:45 Even if you're going to do it for whatever reason. I don't need to see that. Yes. It's too much. I'll tell you. Like, I hate this whole debate because, look at this. We don't need to see AOC's flabby stomach to understand how to do an injection. Look at her. She's just looking for attention. And congrats, she's gotten it. But I have to say, the piece of it that I object to, it unleashes, like, demons around this debate for a lot of people. And, you know, like, there was somebody who I like, who's a conservative out there, like, it resulted in them saying, it is selfish for a woman to wait until she's 40 to have children. It's selfish because the children won't know their grandparents as well. Well, fuck off. Because a lot of us,
Starting point is 01:15:30 didn't meet the right man until later in life and had our children in our late 30s or when we were 40. I'm included in that. So fuck you and your judgment about how it's cruel to have a child when we're 40. No, it isn't. So that shit pisses me off too. Would you think it was cruel if a woman started at age 30 and had babies every two years until she was 40? Should the fifth baby not be born? Should we stop earlier? How many years is it okay to have with your grandparent before the the parent says, I've got to stop now. I mean, that's crazy-assed, crazy-ass, like far-right shit that these types of debates bring out. And I completely reject all of that nonsense.
Starting point is 01:16:10 But the leftist feminist, it's somehow like an empowering thing when you are with somebody in a love relationship who apparently wants to marry you and capable of having children. And yet you somehow think it's like a girl boss moment to postpone it. For what? when you actually are a U.S. senator or, God forbid, a president? Is that more girl bossy to like wait until you can never see your baby, Sean Davis, and then have it? Is that how far the left has gone off the rails? Yeah, again, the fact that she's engaged and has been this guy with this guy for 10 years and is freezing the eggs, that's what makes it so bizarre.
Starting point is 01:16:51 Like, is she wanting to make sure she has a couple props in 32 or 36? you like, bring me the boy, now bring me the girl. And then, you know, she does her. Joan Crawford style. Yeah, like, it's just, the weirdness and the bizarreness of it, in the performative nature of it, is what I find so weird. You know, if you want to have kids, I think kids are awesome. I don't know why you wouldn't just marry the guy you've allegedly been in love with forever
Starting point is 01:17:15 and have kids with that person. I don't know. But, like, it's just so weird. And I don't want to know about it. And I don't want to be a part of it. And I don't want to see her sticking stuff in her stomach. I don't feel like that's too much to ask. You remember that mommy dearest Christina Darling?
Starting point is 01:17:32 It'll be like, Rosalita, darling. Oh, guys, always great to talk to you. Thank you. Thanks so much for being here. Thank you, Megan. Thank you. Aren't they great? I love that pairing so much.
Starting point is 01:17:45 I love both of those guys. Coming up, we saved the last half hour for the man responsible. I don't think it's an overstatement for the downfall. of Jason Ardey, the Cambridge professor, the youngest black professor in Cambridge history. I don't think we'd know anything about that guy if it were not for my next guest. Wait until you meet him. Everyone's talking about weight loss injections because the results can be so dramatic, too dramatic if you've seen some of these actresses, but in any event, if you moderate it, it can look great on you. They work by lowering blood sugar and reducing appetite. But what if you
Starting point is 01:18:24 want to lose some weight, but you're not interested in potentially painful, weekly injections, are going to get bruised up, if you don't have to stick yourself with a needle for weight loss, feels weird, especially when you hear about some of those intent side effects. This is why doctors created a weight loss supplement called Lean, and the results could be remarkable. Lean says the studied ingredients in their product have been shown to lower your blood sugar, burn fat by converting it into energy, and curb your appetite and cravings. So you are not as hungry. But listen, lean is not for the casual dieter with only a few pounds to lose. The doctors at Brickhouse Nutrition created lean for frustrated dieters with 10 or more pounds to

You might already own a firearm, but what if you could start with less lethal methods to avoid the financial and mental repercussions of pulling the trigger? This is where Berna comes in. I love Berna, B-Y-R-N-A. Berna's less lethal launchers are equipped with tear gas and kinetic ammo, and they're designed to incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes. And by the way, you don't have to actually hit the attacker for Berna to work, if you hit the wall right behind the attacker,
Starting point is 01:19:56 they could still be incapacitated due to all of the gases that will overcome them. So I like that if you're not a great shot. And Berna is excited to introduce the all-new compact launcher. It's sleek, it's slim, it hits like a sledgehammer, but it's the same size as a smartphone, so it will pop right into your purse. And women, for example, can conceal, carry everywhere comfortably and with confidence. It fires at 400 feet per second. That's a lot of power to stop aggressors in their tracks. And their pistols are American made and hand assembled in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with over 80% of the components in the compact launcher being sourced in the USA.

I now have my very own channel on Sirius XM. It's called the Megan Kelly channel, and it is where you will hear the truth, unfiltered, with no agenda, and no apologies.
Starting point is 01:21:11 Along with the Megan Kelly show, you're going to hear from people like Mark Halperin, Link Lauren Callahan, Emily Dushinsky, Jesse Kelly, Real Clear Politics, and many more. It's bold, no BS news only on the Megan Kelly channel, SiriusXM 111 and on the Sirius XM app. We have been following the story of Jason Ardei, Cambridge's youngest black professor ever, who just recently resigned after major plagiarism allegations. I mean, like, that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of his lies.
Starting point is 01:21:48 Now, he's got a book coming out tomorrow. I mean, Simon & Schuster isn't a real pickle on this. Pulling it back at this point is basically impossible. Do you come out publicly and bash it? What do you do? The inconsistencies between the book proposal and the book itself are already making news because people have gotten their hands on an advanced copy. It's called Great and Unfortunate Things, which basically describes his career in a nutshell.
Starting point is 01:22:15 And now the latest shows that there are discrepancies between, because when you write a book, you submit a proposal, and then you get somebody to publish it, and then you write the book. But there are major discrepancies between the proposal and the book, including his claims about his childhood and how exactly he went from being nonverbal until age 11 to Cambridge's youngest black professor. And also who and when he was told, who told him and when they told him that he was going to have this story life or these great but unfortunate things would keep happening to him. Like the list goes on and on every day. But what's important to us today is the man who got this all started. the man without whom we might not never know about what a fraud this man was and how he was supported so unjustly by virtually everybody at Cambridge. My next guest is Nathan Koffness. He's a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University. He was one of the first to go public about Arde's plagiarism.
Starting point is 01:23:12 And he used to be at Cambridge. So he knows of what he speaks. Nathan, thank you so much for joining me. So what first turned you on to the possibility that this guy was. a fraud? Well, I left in the middle of my own free speech controversy. I left Cambridge in 2025. And soon after I left, rumors started circulating among the faculty members that this chair professor, the DEI hire Jason Arde, was a plagiarist and a fraud and a fabulous. And a journalist at Times Higher Education named Jack Grove investigated the story and even wrote an article. But when Ardei heard about it, either he or the university hired a fearsome defamation law firm to send a threatening letter to Times Higher Education, causing them to spike the article. So they never published anything on that.
Starting point is 01:24:25 That was a year ago. Everybody at Cambridge, or probably most of the faculty at Cambridge, knew the story. So that's a lot of people knew about it. But they were afraid to say anything because, you know, Cambridge is similar to other universities, which is that the administration does not tolerate dissent, especially with respect to a very politically charged issue here. I mean, we're tight, Jason Ardeh was touted as the youngest black professor.
Starting point is 01:24:59 He's bringing diversity to Cambridge. And anybody who criticizes him in any way will be called a racist. So, so for that reason, the rumor just didn't get out. It somehow stayed contained for a whole year. And apparently, the administration planned on burying the story for the next 27 years for the rest of our day's career. However, there's a whistle.
Starting point is 01:25:27 Just to interrupt one second, it does, it does occur to me. You know, this is, this is the danger in a universe. I mean, we all know what the university's been doing around the DEI hires and with this guy in particular and making him a token very clearly. But it does show you that there's real skin in the game for universities in doing that. because if you elevate somebody as the poster child for DEI or black achievement, you are making them unfirable. And you better be damn sure there are no skeletons in that person's closet or you're going
Starting point is 01:26:03 to make a fool out of yourselves and your university, which is exactly what's happened to Cambridge. This is the biggest black eye in their history. And it was completely self-inflicted. Well, and there's so much to the story. I should say, we can talk about this later. But Jason Ardei was not fired ultimately, I assume whatever the circumstances of his departure were. He says he resigned, but presumably he resigned knowing that he was at risk of being terminated unwillingly.
Starting point is 01:26:38 The university, after first I published the evidence for the plagiarism and for the fact that even the work that wasn't plagiarized was of an abysmal quality below undergraduate level, completely just not what you would expect from somebody who's a professor at any university, let alone a teacher. chair professor. Basic grammatical errors that my rising seventh grader would not make. I mean, truly, a misunderstanding of how to use the possessive, lack of subject, verb agreement. I mean, it was just basic grammatical errors everywhere. You didn't have to look hard at all to find them. But so the thing is, this is something that I emphasized in my original expose, which has
Starting point is 01:27:30 people haven't, people have focused mainly on the plagiarism and the lies that he tells about his personal accomplishments. But for me, one of the most interesting aspects to the affair is that even if you didn't know that he was a plagiarist, even if you believed that he could run 600 miles and six days and that he, in 30 marathons and 35 days, and that he played like semi-professional Snooker when he was a child, that he was nonverbal until age 11, and then learn to speak, which is a very questionable claim, would make him possibly a medical miracle. Even if you accepted all of that,
Starting point is 01:28:16 the quality of the work simply did not justify any position anywhere within academia. Now, there are thousands of Jason Ardeys in universities all over the Western world. world. What our day's mistake was is he took the plagiarism too far. The lies were, and because he plagiarized, that was a hook for the story. Because there are lots of fraudulent researchers who are worthless and who have nothing to contribute to scholarship or knowledge or teaching.
Starting point is 01:28:55 They're all over the price. And DEI hires, of course, there are many such cases. So he plagiarized too much, and he lied too much, and ultimately what probably did him in wasn't the plagiarism or the lying, because Cambridge was actually supporting him after that had been revealed. And Cambridge University released a statement saying that the critics were waging a vile campaign. And so that was how Cambridge responded to completely persuasive. overwhelming evidence of his wrongdoing. But what happened is he started claiming that he had affiliations with prestigious universities, such as the Ohio State University and Glasgow University. And so they were in a position to hold him accountable because they have, you know, these
Starting point is 01:29:51 universities have institutional power. And so that was when Cambridge started the investigation. But Cambridge was willing to continue burying the story and just ignore. the plagiarism and made up data and all the rest of it. Because those universities came out when questioned by now inquiring journalists about whether, in fact, he was a visiting professor at them and said, no, no, he's not, and he never has been. And now Cambridge just looks foolish to its colleagues in the university business. But you're telling me that all of his what looked like obvious lies about. about now I'm being attacked daily on the Cambridge campus.
Starting point is 01:30:37 You know, justice-seeking thugs are approaching me as I leave my Cambridge office and hurting me. And they installed a panic button in his office and they have CCTV everywhere, none of which was caught. And then he claims he pressed the panic button, but no one came. They just fed him to the wolves. you're telling me none of that had an effect on Cambridge to say it's possible this guy is lying well you know i'm sure that many many people knew that he was lying and as i say the the whistleblower who gave me the story told me that most professors know uh know about this but okay so what if you say something he'll call you racist now what now you've been called the racist
Starting point is 01:31:23 stick his lawsuit, his lawyers on you. That's right. So you may have the, so now are you going to spend the next, you know, five years fighting him in court or, or, let's say, the administration retaliates against you. Now you have to take Cambridge University to the employment tribunal. That takes years and is, you know, it's expensive and it's ruinous. So just, and even as the scandal unfolded for now it's been weeks, there, as far as I'm aware,
Starting point is 01:32:03 there was just a couple days ago, one professor who's actually a wokster herself, actually talked about the fact that Cambridge had done something wrong. There are no one else on the faculty at Cambridge said anything, even up to now. And as far as I know, the only person, faculty or student at Cambridge, besides this, the woke woman who said anything, is an undergraduate student who tried to publish an article in the Cambridge student newspaper, Varsity, and they rejected it. Now, this is another aspect of the story is that the response of Cambridge was very much influenced by the fact that I was, was the one to write the expose, because I have a history with them.
Starting point is 01:32:53 They don't like me. When I was there, I was a critic of DEI ideology, and I talked about certain politically incorrect topics, causing the students to protest me, and then in response that the university placed me under investigation for a year and a half, tried to fire me. I was also affiliated with one of the colleges. So Cambridge is like Oxford is a collegiate university, and most people are a member of a faculty or a department and a college. So I was affiliated with Emmanuel College.
Starting point is 01:33:30 Emmanuel College terminated my position on the grounds that a substack article I wrote is or could be construed as a rejection of the values of diversity, equality, and inclusion. That's an exact quote. they terminated my position. So, you know, Cambridge, a university. And of course, the response is it is a rejection of that.
Starting point is 01:33:52 You're correct. Why is that grounds for termination? Well, that's the question I asked them, and I took them to court to ask them that question. But anyway, what happened there? So Cambridge, they have, they have a lot of objections to me. And so now, you know, a year later, I show up and I'm the one to expose the fraud because they know that if they would sick Carter Ruck on me, that I'm not going to stop. I'm still going to publish. I'm not going to be intimidated. But if it's between you and Jason Arde, they are on team Ardea all day long. You're like the white guy who they had to fire because he didn't get on board the DEI train and was. saying controversial things like, I'm sorry to tell you, the numbers would be very, very low on
Starting point is 01:34:45 black professors and students if we went on pure meritocracy. And they were like, holy mother of God, we're not going to be saying that at Cambridge. So it's either you or their poster boy for DEI. So no wonder they were like, yeah, there's no. Embracing Jason Arde. No, we don't, we don't to be with this lunatic. He's going to get us all fired. So it would have been much better for them to let Times higher education break the story a year ago because Times Higher Education is much more ideologically close to Cambridge than I am. So they would have softened the blow. And it might not have blown up in the same way if they have let Times Higher Education do it. But then I just... Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this, Nathan. Have you, like of all the lies
Starting point is 01:35:34 that now they have come out that he's told obvious lies, what has any have, have any, have any of them shocked to you? Like, what are the ones that stand out to you? There's a lot to choose from. I don't know how it's hard to shock me. You know, I've been in academia. I've seen a lot of things. I mean, maybe the claiming that he was nonverbal up until age 11, I mean, saying something that is, as far as I can tell, basically impossible or unprecedented and that nobody asked questions. Interestingly, one of his main supporters is Simon, an eminent psychologist and autism researcher, Simon Baron Cohn, very prominent professor at Cambridge, also the cousin of comedian Sasha Baron Cohn, a piece of trivia. So Simon Baron Cohn is an autism researcher, the world's leading expert on autism. And he is defending Ardei on the basis that he says Arde is autistic, although I can't obviously diagnose Ardei, but his claim to be autistic and then as a result of being autistic, being nonverbal until age 11 is all very strange.
Starting point is 01:36:55 There's a great piece now in the Atlantic on the inconsistencies around this guy's story and between his book proposal. and the book. It's titled Lies Found in Our Days. No, it's titled Icarus in the Faculty Lounge by David Engber. And he points out, I mean, there's so much in here, but he's talking about how the proposal, the thing he has submitted to get his book deal, does not match his actual book deal.
Starting point is 01:37:23 The proposal, he writes, lays out many of the same events as the actual memoir, but with slightly different dates and details. The boys who beat him up were not his age, but four years older. So he changes the age from the proposal to the book
Starting point is 01:37:38 of the group of boys who allegedly beat him up so badly he claims he got epilepsy from it. His suicide attempt, that seems like something that you would remember when you did it,
Starting point is 01:37:47 happened before, not during the pandemic. So he changed the date of his attempted, alleged attempted suicide. And whereas the book describes Ardei as having survived,
Starting point is 01:37:58 not one, but two, brain tumors. The proposal says he had a bout of testicular cancer with no reference to that, to the brain tumors appearing in the memoir. He also said not only did he have two brain tumors, but he had a stroke as well before he went to defend his dissertation. I had said earlier, it was a lung thing. It was a stroke. Nor does the book describe the time that Ardei, then a teenager, was allegedly struck by a car
Starting point is 01:38:27 and spent several months in a coma. The book proposal does discuss that. And according to the proposal, the doctors told his parents he would never recover, suggested taking him off life support as an act of mercy. Through all of this, he claimed he was aware of everything going on because he had locked in syndrome, where you can hear everything around you, but you appear to the outside world like you're in a coma. That would be extraordinary. It seems like something you might mention in a memoir, and yet it's not in there, though it wasn't the proposal. The lies were so obvious. All it took was somebody like you from the outside to say, let me just start with the academic piece. of it and see whether we're legit. And as soon as you find out that's not legit, and this was never
Starting point is 01:39:08 done to the Claudine gaze of the world, the odds are there's going to be moralize, and in some cases, a tower of them. So in the original expose, I did raise questions about his claims, about his personal achievements and his personal life. But, you know, I didn't have, like I said, I didn't have hard evidence to contradict him. So for that reason, I said, I'm going to first focus on the scholarship angle and the plagiarism angle. But, and I, you know, I didn't want to say, even as confident as I am, that these were lies. I did want him to, you know, who knows if he can come up with some fake evidence and then drag me to court and then, you know. So, but now it's safe to say that, yeah, it's all lies. And now, why is Simon and Schuster going forward with this?
Starting point is 01:40:00 I mean, that's unclear, but the New York publishing industry may be like the only domain that's woker than academia and Cambridge. So maybe it's just that they can't say that a black person did something wrong, like a DEI, a DEI person lied. They're not willing to say it. They are incredibly woke in the publishing industry. It's actually quite annoying. in the time we have left, what does this tell us about Cambridge University? So I think the, so Cambridge is going to try to cover it up. They got, so our day is gone.
Starting point is 01:40:46 Maybe some administrator will be held accountable, but the only lesson that people have, that the wokesters have learned from this is that they have to cover their tracks better, that the DEI candidate's better. the ideology is not going anywhere. There will still be, there will be thousands more our days, just, you know, a little bit less plagiarism, maybe. Well, we'll see about that. Listen, thank you. Thank you for your courage and calling attention to it. This guy had no business at Cambridge, and they deserved to be embarrassed. We appreciate to our story. Thank you very much. All the best to you.
Starting point is 01:41:26 Okay, coming up tomorrow, we've got a full Kelly's Court. We'll see you then. Thanks for listening to The Megan Kelly Show, no BS, no agenda, and no fear.
