of options we have. I love it. Teed up for you fellas today. All right, so the Democrat Party is interesting and what's happening, and we'll get a little bit more into that. But I just, I want to start with Troy Jackson. Okay? Troy Jackson, excuse me, is now going to be the guy,

taking on Susan Collins in Maine. And this is an important race because it relates directly to one of those Senate seats that the Dems want so bad in their quest to take over both branches of Congress come these midterms. And Graham Platner was looking pretty good until the whole rape allegation thing. Oh, that little thing. The pesky rape allegation that took him out. So that they scrambled to find somebody who could run. And they've settled on this guy, Troy.

Jackson, who he comes from the state Senate in Maine, I think. And so he's a state lawmaker. And something interesting happened. We covered it on AM Update, where when he first hit the scene, some website called a Twitter account called Progressive Victory, immediately tweeted out, all right, watch out for Tony Jackson, because, or Troy Jackson, because he's got a reputation of having hit a woman with a bottle. And it's an open secret in Maine. He's got like some sort of anger issues, basically, is what they were saying.

And he hit a woman with a bottle. Now, she guys have all been mad at various points over the course of your lives, with men, with women, possibly your wives. I'm going to guess you can count on no hands the number of times you've thrown a bottle at a woman in anger. We typically don't bottle people here. We are a non-bottling podcast. We try not to bottle anyone. It's just, is that a normal thing? That is not a normal anger management technique, especially when arguing male to female, right?

I feel that's fair. It's just a real cavalcade of winners, Democrats are rolling out in the state of Maine. I mean, aren't there any Democrats who haven't got. rough on some girl up there? Like, can they find a normal person who can have their name on the ballot and just be a normal candidate who's talking about taxes or housing or something else other than a history of being a terrible person? I mean, you've got to consider the prerequisites, right? They've got to find somebody who wants to eliminate Western civilization first before you start looking for candidates. So you've got to be a little, shall we say, a conicalastic. One woman at a time.

A thin bench. Okay, so here's what happened. So progressive victory puts out this tweet. And, you know, this is a far left Twitter accounts. You're like, oh, wow, I guess it's not going to be this guy, Troy Jackson. Well, a couple days later, once the party seems to be settling on him, they withdraw, well, they don't withdraw the treat, but they amend saying, oh, we sent that out in a panic when we were just really scared that he was going to be another platner.

But we since realized that it's unverified. and that was irresponsible of us. So they don't crap on the reporting. They have no idea whether it's true. They just say, it was irresponsible to send it out without confirmation, and we did it in a panic because we don't want another abuser.

Well, now we get the piece. The Washington Post has just dropped the piece with the information about that incident and many more. Okay, and before I give you the details on it, let me give you the Mark Halperin Post, because Mark Halperin always knows what's what. And he had this little ditty up his sleeve. And last night at 7 p.m. 8, 7.18 p.

Eastern, he tweeted out the following. Quote, normal length competitive campaigns for U.S. Senate nominations include ample time to have the press and political opponents vet the top choices. Short campaigns do not allow for that. Ask yourself why Republicans, including the National Republican senatorial committee have not engaged in APO efforts to slow down Troy Jackson. Stay tuned. So then this morning, what does the Washington Post drop? And I guarantee you this is just the latest in, or this is just the opening salvo because this is not a GOP controlled publication.

And God only knows what the Republicans have on this guy. This is what the Democrat newspaper dropped now days before he officially secures the nomination, which is this weekend. Troy Jackson. Okay. Before I get to, let me do it. Let's load the weapon here. Let's do it. Let's load the weapon. Yes, exactly right.

Thank you. So you guys remember back in 2012 when Barack Obama was running for his second term against the genteel. sweet, moderate Mitt Romney. Yeah. He was like the nice Mormon guy who, I mean, truly, you'd have to work to be offended by Mitt Romney. But he went to that presidential debate and he was asked whether he supports more women in the workplace.

And he said, yes, and not only do I support more women in the workplace, but we were hiring for a position recently at, you know, whatever he was running. I can't remember it was private sector or in the governor's office. Massachusetts where he'd been governor. And he said, my team brought me all these male applicant, you know, at resumes. And I said, you know, don't we have any women? Let's try to get some women in here for consideration. And they brought me binders full of women. And, you know, we went on and made the decision from there. The audience that's young is still waiting for me to get to the part that blew up on him. Right? It's like, and then what? That was it. It went so

viral because the Democrats chose to make him into a flaming misogynist. They thought that he was basically Andrew Tate. Yep. Okay. By the time the Democrats were done with him. And just for kicks, I went on YouTube today. There was a scathing interview by Mika Brzeinski on the Today Show. And then there were many things. But I pulled just this one ad that the Dems made, trying to capitalize on this one remark. This is the Democrats, okay? This is their take on that hideous comment by Mitt Romney, in which, instead of saying, binders full of women's resumes, he said binders full of women. Watch.

Mitt Romney's condescending views toward women. Exposed. Ask specifically about policies to ensure equal pay for women. In what new ways do intend to rectify the inequalities in the workplace, specifically regarding females, making only 72% of what their male counterparts earn. Romney had no policies or solutions only risk. together in cabinet and all the applicants seem to be men. And I said, well, gosh, can't we, can't we find some women that are also qualified? They brought us a whole binders full of women. President Obama explained the clear choice for women.

The campaign was asked about the Lilly Ledbetter bill. Whether he supported it, he said, I'll get back to you. He suggested that, in fact, employers should be able to make the decision as to whether a woman gets contraception through her insurance coverage. Governor Romney says that we should eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood. There are millions of women all across the country who rely on Planned Parenthood for not just contraceptive care, they rely on it for mammograms, for cervical cancer screenings. Romney exposed too extreme for women.

It's so ridiculous. Yeah, I mean, that was the sort of weak tea that used to pass for an op-oh hit for the Democrats. And they only got away with it, Megan, in that era, because the entire media was in the bag for Barack Obama. And so they amplified it on their own front pages. They wrote editorials, all these sorts of things. So you take a small statement that is totally innocuous,

and they blew it up into a massive thing. It was so ridiculous because you can't have binders full of women. That's not a thing. He clearly just neglected in a debate setting to put on apostrophe. S resumes. That was his big sin. That got him labeled a misogynist and extreme,

too extreme for women. Okay, flash forward to just now. And we were replacing the accused rapist with Troy Jackson. And again, back to the Washington Post. Here is what they posted. Troy Jackson,

a powerful Maine legislator now running for Senate. Once, angrily through a water bottle in a meeting, he couldn't persuade a law when he wouldn't persuade a lawmaker to vote his way. He yelled at another lawmaker, prompting her to post on social media that straight men were too emotional

to be in politics. And he cursed and shouted in a meeting with the Speaker of Maine's State House until she kicked him out of her office. During the six years, Jackson presided over Maine's Senate until he left office in 2024. This is not ancient history.

His temper was a feature of his leader. That's an interesting way to phrase it. Was Mitt Romney's misogyny a feature of his leadership? What does that mean? And one, the Democratic lawmakers discussed among themselves as a problem and even raised with the governor. That's according to a portrait of his leadership drawn from interviews with more than two dozen people who spoke to the Washington Post. Some remained anonymous.

Jackson himself declined to be interviewed. B.J. McCallister, a campaign advisor, acknowledged, quote, moments when he let his frustration get the better of him, but said Jackson took responsibility and apologized when it happened. Troy regrets the moments when disagreements became too heated, said McCallister. But passion for the issues he advocates for should not be confused with physical intimidation or bullying. Okay, now here we go. Ready?

Incident with the then-speaker of the main house. So this person is a black woman who is the first speaker of the main house. This, then this is what, this guy's running on the Democrat ticket. May I remind you, Troy Jackson. In 2024, Jackson became enraged in a meeting with then-house speaker Rachel Talbot Ross's office when the two Democrats disagreed about tactics on passing a gun control measure. Jackson banged on the table, cursed, and then got close to Talbot Ross's face after he said he was done talking to the leader, according to two people.

Talbot Ross, a civil rights advocate and the first black woman elected to the main legislature, kicked him out of her office. Another person in the room, connected to the post by the Jackson campaign, disputed that he was face to face with her or that he slammed his hand on a table and cursed. But they did note that they had a heated argument. Okay, well, that's not great, but, I mean, I'm going to guess, screaming in the face of the first black person woman elected to the main legislature

would be probably devastating if a Republican had done it in the eyes of the Washington Post. or Maine Democrats, but let's keep going. Water bottle incident. In 2021, again, that's five years ago. Post-COVID. He had an argument with a member of his caucus and then state senator Heather Sanborn, a Democrat. It became legend in Augusta Maine

where lawmakers of both parties gossiped about Jackson's enraged confrontation with her. References to the incident with spare details circulated online in his Senate bit. And Jackson and Samburn were on opposing side of a bill aimed at lowering prescription drug prices. Because who doesn't throw a punch or two or a bottle here or there? When you're talking about, you know, drug prices. Jackson supported the bill.

But Samborn argued it was unconstitutional. She's a Democrat, too, and would be struck down by the courts. As one meeting wrapped up, Jackson grew angry with Sanborn and confronted her, said three people in the room. that day and multiple people briefed on the fight. At one point, he threw a water bottle in anger. Quote, he was an inch from her nose, screaming and hollering and haranguing her. One of Jackson's former legislative colleagues who was in the room said. Yeah, that person said. So they said they didn't have physical contact, but he was an inch from her nose screaming and hollering and haranguing her. May I refer you back to the incident with the black speaker of the house in whose

face he allegedly got, where the one said, he banged on the table, he cursed and he got close to her face. And his aide said, well, he wasn't face-to-face with her and he didn't slam his hand. Do we believe that now that we see with his other person? He was in her face, an inch from her nose, screaming and hollering and haranguing her? I would say it gives credence to report number one. Maybe a pattern. Multiple former lawmakers record that Sanborn, the woman whose face he was, at whom he allegedly through the water bottle, left the Senate that day and did not return for several days. Quote, it was pretty intense, said one source. I haven't seen anything like that before or since.

Jackson's campaign advisor acknowledged that the candidate did throw a plastic water bomb, but said he was not targeting anyone, guys. It was not, it was just mad at the wall. Exactly. It was just an anger, an inability to control one's anger. He threw it, but not at her. That's a much different thing, they said. Senator Mark Lawrence, Lawrence, who was present for the confrontation, said the bottle hit a desk before bouncing on the floor.

That's, first the desk, then the floor. And he compared Jackson to a softball player throwing a mitt down or a tennis player tossing a racket. Okay, those are the highlights. Just like your mitt. It's like a softball mitt. It's what you do with the water bottle. A far cry from the Mitt Romney indignance, right?

Indignation. The Democrat indignation over binders full of women. Now it's, it didn't hit her. It hit a desk and then a floor, much in the way, a mitt at a baseball game might ricochet off the mound. This guy's turning into. the incredible Hulk over prescription drug policy, and they're like, he's just so passionate. Well, yeah, I mean, look what you made me do.

Look what you made me do over this prescription drug policy. It's a feature of his leadership. I'm just so passionate about these things. You know, who's to play me? It's like throwing a mitt. It's more of a feature, I think, than a bug, Megan. You look, it's not just this cat or Graham Platner, the guy he replaced, but it is. is sort of a feature in this DSA socialist takeover the Democratic Party. These are maladjusted

folks for one reason or another. And there's some back. Maljusted. Great word. You know what I mean? There's some backstory to each one of them about how they got that way. But Holmes, are you saying living on Reddit does not give somebody great social skills? Perhaps. We might have to look into that. But I think you're exactly right. I mean, just look at Katie Porter, a case from the other coast. Volcanic Temper. Oh, we're going to get to Katie. Just a lunatic. Dump boiling mashed potatoes in the head of her ex-husband and then came at him with a broken coffee pot.

That's a temper. Who knows if... The feature of her leadership as far. There's no joy. There's no joy in any of this. It's all angry. It's all hatred of America. It's hatred of Western civilization.

It's a feature. This is who they are now. This Troy Jackson, I don't think he says officially he's DSA, but, but, you know, but, you're but he's thrilled that they like him. Listen to Troy here in Sop 1. I've always been someone that believed that health care is a human right. And it became clear to me after some time that abortion, reproductive rights access is a human right.

It's health care. It's people that, you know, deserve to have that. And, you know, when it dawned on me, you know, I became a real advocate for that. I mean, over the last 10 years, I've had 100% voting wreck for Planned Parenthood. I've sponsored or co-sponsored some of the most progressive abortion access in the entire country and fought vehemently for it.

And, you know, I make no bones about a bad vote years ago coming out of Aurora area, a very Catholic area. But, you know, I mean, people are going to have all kinds of thoughts about these things. But, I mean, I have a 20-year record of votes like that, but a whole bunch of votes that, you know, people like in the DSA, think that I'm very progressive. And you wipe that smirk off your face, Katie Turr. I'll smack it right off for you. That's how it really ended. They cut that piece off. The Winston Churchill of our time.

With an Ed Muskie poster over his shoulder. I mean, most people have a poster of an athlete or something. Ed Muskie, are you kidding me? He used to be pro-life. That's why he's explaining himself to Katie Turr about how, Oh, no, I'm pro-Parenthood and I'm pro-choice now, and the DSA loves me. For whom would that be a good endorsement? The DSA loves me.

Let me disabuse you of the one redeemable characteristic I have. I mean, it's just incredible. He's also pro-Gram-Platner. Every time Bernie Sanders went to the state of Maine to rally for Graham Platner, do you know who introduced Graham Platner? It wasn't Bernie Sanders. it was Troy Jackson, talking about how he'd gotten to know him over the last year and how proud he was, how honored he was to introduce Graham Platner to the state of Maine. And Graham Platner voted for Troy Jackson first.

You know they have ranked choice voting in the state of Maine. Graham Platner, his first choice, Troy Jackson. Yeah. No, it's true. But, I mean, look, you look at all of these guys. And we used to say about Graham Platner, he was a rich person's idea of a poor person. right and that's sort of how democrats thought they needed to redeem the 2024 election when you look at middle class working class america they need a little bit of a hold on that i think this guy it looks like he's the far left's version of what a normal white guy is like except for you know the volcanic temper the intimidation of women the i mean it just this is who they are now and you look at the stage that determined that this guy was going to be their guy and it was like a Star Wars bar

I mean the closest thing they had they had two with one who was a dude in a dress and the other woman who had previously lost to Susan Collins by 37 points that was their choices or or this guy and like it's just what they came up with it is just an incredibly bad bunch of candidates let me tell you something that there was a poll this is earlier in the month before Plattner pulled out. It was by public policy polling, showing Collins up against various Dems in the state of Maine. And it showed that Platner was leading her by five points. And Jackson was leading her 49 to 44. So five points there with 7%. So Jackson, at least in the last poll,

where they matched those two up, was looking good against Susan Collins, who may I remind you, is a woman. Susan Collins is an actual woman and the main Senate race is a mess for all sorts of reasons but this guy is going to run against Susan Collins who as I pointed out before may not be beloved by the MAGA base exactly

but is she there's a respect for her in Maine she's been bipartisan she's more moderate which Maine Republicans are more moderate and I just I don't know how this is going to play out with this guy who sounds like kind of a bully prick when he's across from a woman who doesn't give him his way versus Susan Collins. And let me just point another thing out to you about the hypocrisy of these Democrats. You mentioned Katie Porter, Ashbrook. Thank you for that. Thank you. All welcomes of Katie Porter are mentions of her are welcome.

When she got outed for her terrible temper in California, one of her first responses was to say, I'm passionate. Same bullshit we heard in that article. But then the second point was this is a misogynistic double standard. Because let me tell you that they wouldn't be doing this to a man who had heated arguments like this. And she was suggesting some of her adversaries out there in California were such men. And I went back and looked. Senator Barbara Boxer, you remember Barbara Boxer, right? When she, when she was, like, it's Senator, I believe I've earned it. Remember to like the five-star general who was testifying in front of her? I forgot about that.

Made the mistake of calling her ma'am. She actually pulled her endorsement of Katie Porter at the time. She said hold on a second, where is it? Senator Barbara Boxer

yeah, she saw Porter display these traits in this video, anger, a lack of respect, privilege, And she said that is why I'm not going to back her in the race she had against Adam Schiff, which was previously. Oh, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah.

She's lost multiple times. Which is why she decided back then Representative Adam Schiff, who ultimately won. That's why. So, yeah, she said I had a bad taste in my mouth from that experience, Senator Boxer said, growing upset when describing her reaction to the video of Katie Porter cursing at her staffer. This video tells us everything we need to know about former Congressman Porter. She is unfit to serve, period. Well, I look forward to Barbara Boxer coming out and speaking out about Troy Jackson guys. I mean, I think we're three to one until this leader of the Democrat Party, this, you know, Senator Emeritus, as Nancy Pelosi wants to be called, Speaker Emeritus, which is not a thing.

I look forward to her leading her party out of the Troy Jackson rabbit hole because of his terrible temper in the same way she made Katie, reporter suffer. Megan, I wouldn't get your hopes up because what we've learned in our career in politics and Ashbrook mentions it all the time is the only time you learn bad things about a Democrat is when it benefits another Democrat. And unfortunately in Maine for the Maine Democrats, is they don't have any other options. No, they're all out. Fresh out. At this point, they don't have any other options. So they're going to circle the wagons around Troy Jackson, I think. I think if you're waiting for her to have issue a statement opposing Troy Jackson, I think we're going to be waiting for some time. Yeah, it's worth rewining the tape a little bit just to the Platner and the end of the

Platner deal. All these allegations that were ultimately made about him were known, and they were known in Democratic politics, and some of it had surfaced out privately, and then other parts with the New York Times article that did just a shoddy job of trying to, I mean, they were basically trying to paper over serious allegations against him, but all that stuff started to come out, and not a single Democrat had any problem with it. He went down, Graham Platner, went down to DC to meet with Chuck Schumer and the entirety of the Senate Democratic Conference to try to do a little damage control when none was needed. And the reason none was needed was because he was up five points in the polls.

Now over the next week to 10 days, that five point lead went into a five point deficit, at which time all of a sudden these are very troubling allegations, and they just so happened to coincide with a 72-hour window where they could still do something about it. Now, now is the time to do what you need to do to get somebody a statesman like Troy Jackson, all he's done is throw a couple of water bottles around or something. It just, it's unbelievable. It hit the table. It just the table, Holmes.

That's right. Not the lady. Okay? I mean, we'll see. We'll see. But here's my next question in this whole saga. Why is the Washington Post doing this article? to me, this has the stench of the New York Times

Lindsay Fifeield article about Platner. Remember, the New York Times did basically a catch and kill on the worst of the Graham Platner allegations. They did a whitewash. They chose a couple of allegations that they knew were not going to tank him and put those up. And they had spoken with the rape accuser, but allegedly couldn't get her to go on the record.

And I heard them talking, the reporters talking about this on the daily. the New York Times podcast, and they were saying, we spoke with her, she just wouldn't go on the record with those accusations, which suggested they knew the accusations. They just couldn't convince her to go on the record, which I have to tell you, if you know that there is a serious rape accusation against somebody you're doing a Me Too piece on, and the only reason you can't print it is because the woman's not yet there, you know, where she'll say it on the record, the tone of your piece would normally sound very different from what the New York Times. Times ultimately went with. So it was a catch and kill. It definitely had the feel of a catch and kill. And I just wonder, given that Mark Halpern tweet, whether the Washington Post may have just done something similar for, as you point out, the only candidate left, because it's not going to be Ashley Webb, who they land on. But she writes books. She's a songwriter. She's a songwriter. Yeah. Yeah. John, you're probably, you're probably, you're probably,

most well equipped to explain journalism? Well, I think, Megan, I think you're exactly right. I think it's an old tactic, right? You mentioned the New York Times trying it in this exact same Senate race just a few months ago. But every single cycle, we see the same thing from these major papers. And then some of the big broadcast networks, they have great ties into the Democratic Party. They want to boost those candidates because they're all Democrats. And this is, it's a tactic that we've seen.

I mean, we've worked in campaign politics for 20 years, tail as old as time. But what's different now is the media environment. They used to control, and Michael Duncan touched on this just a few minutes ago. They used to absolutely control, start to finish the conversation about politics in this country. That's not the case anymore. There's shows like the Megan Kelly show, shows like the Ruthless Variety Program. So you get balance in media in a way that never happened 10 years ago within the course of our careers. And I don't think Democrats are equipped to figure out how to manage their candidates and their messaging in this new environment.

Because what was so easy for them for so long is now increasingly difficult. They can't pull the wool over everybody's eyes. And in the case of the state of Maine, you have to ask yourself, well, why is Susan Collins gotten elected over and over and over again? Well, she's done a pretty good job. I mean, all the Republicans and conservatives around the country find things to complain about with her voting record. But the people in Maine seem to like it. She's helping them outkick their coverage in the United States Senate. And this is a place where it's like Jessica Fletcher and Sheriff Amos Tupper.

This is not a place where people are throwing water bottles at women. Murder she wrote? Is that where you went with that? Well, that's exactly right. Maine is a wonderful place. With the name. first and last name of the Angela Lansberry character. What a deep track.

That is the type of color you get on the Routless Variety program. That is next level. He's illustrating a good point. You look at somebody like Susan Collins, who's a very competent politician, and you're like, man, it always seems like she's trailing in the polling. I mean, look at the Saragittian race last time where she was trailing throughout. Yeah, in 2020. And then one with margin in 2020.

And the reason why is because there's parochial issues in a state like Maine. Whenever you have a rural small state, things like saving the lobster industry or like shipyard jobs, things like that that don't make the front page of any newspaper delivering on stuff like that is huge. And that's why Susan Collins has been so successful. Yeah, she's been a perfect ideological fit for Maine. And of course, that's not an ideological fit for all of conservative America by any stretch of the imagination. but she's always done things the right way by her constituents. Yeah, Maine is not Mississippi.

Right. And then you contrast that with this clown show. And it's like, I don't know, does he beat women? Does he not beat women? The other guy is accused of raping women. Like, really? Are we having this conversation? At the table.

The table to the floor. Okay? Just stop. I mean, you guys are the political experts, but my guess is like when you were explaining the bottle, it hit the table. Not the lady at whom he was yelling an inch from her face. That's not a win. You're on quicksand, my brother.

Like, this is not a great place to be. And let me tell you something else about that New York Times Catch and Kill on Grand Platner. It didn't work. Why didn't it work? Because the main woman whose story they effectively buried and, you know, downplayed, was pissed. She felt like she was lied to. by the Times. So did Lindsay Fyfield, who was told she was going to be a bit player in the Times' piece. And she wound up being the center of it. And they dismissed her all of the left and basically the Times 2 as a conservative operative, which she knew was going to happen. I mean, she's such a, she hates liberals so badly. Why was she sleeping with Graham Platner? You know, it's like, that doesn't make sense. But okay, whatever. Right. So, but it didn't work because the women were pissed at how the Times handled it. And they would not be shut up. And let me tell you, I am really wondering whether the three women highlighted in this Washington Post article, who are on the wrong side of this Troy Jackson, are going to be okay with how those incidents were portrayed.

The table. Okay, was it the table? Or did it hit this actual woman who, if it hit, what's her name? Heather Sandborn, I bet we're going to find out about it. If the first black woman elected to the main legislature, House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross has been misrepresented and he really was in her face, I bet we're going to hear about it. And then there was that other one who he got in the face of. Like, I just think this isn't going to do it.

You can't, you really can't catch and kill anymore. Like people have figured it out so they won't be silenced. So I'm looking forward to part two. The one thing that you can bet your bottom dollar on though, Megan, is that there are Democratic operatives crawling all over the inboxes of those three women that you just discussed, ensuring that they will never work in democratic politics again if they try to surface any of that, right? And well, that kind of gets to be risky business, too, because if they go forward, they're not only going forward with the reality that they experience, but also the intimidation that they

experience to not tell the story. So I think you're right. I think it's extremely difficult to keep reality out of the lens of politics these days. and thank God for it. Well, notwithstanding the best best efforts of Ashley Webb, who very much tried to keep reality. She writes stories, Megan. She's a artist.

Out of the lens. We're using that term so loosely. Ashley Webb, for those who aren't aware, is, I think Jack. Jack Webb was the original name, if I am correct. This person ran for office in New Hampshire and lost, and now goes by Ashley. and wants us, even though it's literally meatloaf reincarnated,

wants us to believe that he is a she. He looks just like meatloaf. Hose, back me up. And I would do anything for love, but I won't do that. No, no, no, I won't do that. Oh, he did it. He did it, all right. And here's a little from Ashley Webb's latest, this was a podcast.

This was recent. Wasn't it recent, you guys, where he sat down with a Ph.D. named Amethystah Herrick. This wasn't like part of the Reddit days when he was posting about how he's getting his period out his ass. This was this week. That one nearly broke me. It posted on Sunday. Okay, listen.

So the idea, then, that you had ovaries, or you have ovaries, I suppose they were generating estrogen, but not necessarily ovulating. Oh, I'm pretty. I don't know about the ovulation. Because I do get symptoms, too, that. Well, I was until I went on an estrogen patch, which went away completely. Okay. I would feel really good on, like, the 15th day.

of every cycle and it was a 39 29 day cycle that I was experiencing. I mean, this sounds pretty, sounds pretty, uh, sit on a cycly there. So. Why is it? I was gonna. Go ahead. During that time, like I also leak like a mucus, which they can't really explain. Oh my God.

Oh, interesting. Oh, why? Why? Interesting. God, I could have got my whole life without hearing any of that. Oh, what have you done? Oh, she does this to us. She doesn't on purpose.

She does it on purpose. She does it on purpose. You were given a trigger warning before we got rolling homes. Smug is the only smart one. That guy. Couldn't make it today. Just horrific recitation of the birds and the bees from those two. I just think if you think you're getting your period out of your ass, you should probably see a proctologist.

Yeah, it's striking. It should be a deal breaker. Maybe a test for colonoscopy. No, he did. He went to a colonoscopy doctor, or I don't know, an OBG-Y-N maybe. He went to some doctor and said, I'm bleeding out my ass. I think is my period. And then he complained that they gave him a colonoscopy.

It was misogyny. Basic biology. Those are different roadways. Okay? Just to put it play. Those are different roadways. He would produce a mucus. Oh, come on, come on.

See that like men and black pen that they push and you're like, erase. Come on, come on. I've never seen Holmes so disturbed. Okay, wait. Let's check out a solidite number five. I don't think this one is quite as bad. It's not quite as bad. Let's watch five.

You want to call yourself transgender, despite not necessarily knowing what all parts are inside? Well, I mean, the doctors gave me the label, and I want to keep it because even if I'm intersex, like, the intersex community pretty much tossed me out and didn't want to talk to me. Oh. Any story there you want to finish with my head ovaries and possibly uterus? And I was asking him, like, I have these catscans. Can you take a look? And, you know, tell me what do you think. And I guess it annoyed them, so they kicked me out.

Oh, okay. Well, I mean, good welcoming community. Thanks. Exactly. The trades community welcomed me without any issues. Wait, hold on. This person is getting cats, cans, and sharing it with public interest groups. Like, hey, what?

Dude, this is this. And the intersex community was not convinced Holmes. They saw no ovaries and no uterus. They only saw mucus. And they said, you're, you're, you're, TG. You're not intersex. You're a TG. Out you go. This poor guy can't find acceptance anywhere. Not in the intersex community, not with women, not with main voters, because just before we came to air, he announced he's bailing. He too has finally accepted reality that the very, very pro-woman Troy Jackson will be the Democratic nominee to take on Susan Collins. And he's out. He's officially out.

I don't think they're sending our best. What does it tell you about the state of our politics that that character made it further, including onto a debate stage in the main Democratic Party, than they could make it with the intersex community? The intersex community had better judgment than the main Democrat Party. It's true. It's true. They smell the rat immediately.

They allowed this guy on stage. to debate. Did you see that? Because last Saturday, they had their like kind of pre-nominating thing where Troy Jackson basically emerged as the winner. And then by Sunday night, the four other like serious candidates had dropped out. Ashley was like, hell no. But and so this upcoming weekend is the official. Okay, Troy Jackson's our nominee.

But they allowed that Ashley Webb to join the others on stage and debate. And I suppose they're, they're going to, they're proud of this, I guess. They think this is a badge of honor. They think this is going to reel in more people to their party. Like, again, like we've talked about this on the show. Many, many voters are not thrilled with the economy, right? And they're holding against President Trump and will likely hold it against Republicans come the midterms. And they're thinking, I can't.

I'm not going to vote for these guys. They didn't do it. Whoa. Whoa. Never mind. I'm staying. I'm going to stay right where I. I am not meandering over to Team Blue.

I think you put your finger on a very interesting. distinction. I mean, you look at wave elections 94, 2006, 2010 to a certain extent, 2018 to a certain extent, all of these midterm elections that have become incredibly difficult for parties in power have an opposition that has solidified at least, if not a majority, a plurality in terms of their overall favorability for their party. Democrats are in the opposite situation where there's a huge majority of Americans that disapprove of everything in the country right now. And President Trump, obviously, by running the country and Republicans being in charge, a get attacked for that.

But Democrats, by virtue of what they've gone through in this primary cycle and introducing us to the communists that live amongst us and then folks like that have done more to degrade their brand further than any of those previous election cycles. And so, you know, ultimately what Democrats want to do is make this a referendum on President Trump and any anxiety that you have about Iran, the economy, anything else is just you have to vote Democrat because there's no other way. Where it's likely to be a little bit more of is a choice in some of these elections, certainly in Maine, I think is going to be a choice election. And that Democrats really have a difficult sale to make to voters because they're weird.

They're not in line. Yeah, they're weird. They're not in line with the vast majority of voters in a midterm election. And I don't think at this point there's anything they can do to resuscitate that image. They just have to hope that it gets so bad for Republicans that people are either they don't vote or they just protest ballot and they don't even take a look at the candidates at all. I'd love to meet the guy who was like the answer is to put Ashley Webb on stage. I mean, truly like, that's how far gone they are. Right? That they actually do think that that's a good idea and that's going to make them seem accepting and like, you know, the kinder, gentler party. You see, we love everyone. It's like, again, I don't need a reference this a third time. But that guy has so many issues. This is not about showing kindness. This is about keeping a true freak off the stage as not representative of your party or your goals or policies or ideals.

It seems like every single Democrat running for office, no matter where they are, is somehow running for president of California. You know, like in 2006, you mentioned, I mean, that was a very, very difficult midterm cycle for Republicans. And why were Democrats so successful? Because they were focused on fixing Washington. You had a lot of Democrats out there saying, you know what? The party in charge, the Republicans aren't doing enough on border security. They were touching on issues that your average voter actually carries. about and so they were very successful. And today they are all talking about issues that

their donors in California and some parts of Manhattan care about and they're missing the boat. And it's why they won't succeed as much as they could and it's why it's not a referendum. It's a choice. They're actually the ones who needed to be a referendum to your point, but they're the ones who are also making this a choice just by virtue of their stupid positions. So I want to tell you something. something sad and something interesting. First, something sad. Back to Katie Porter.

Right. Look at Troy. Katie, move to Maine. Maybe that's the problem. She was in California. She should be in Maine. I'm sad that she's leaving. But here's the interesting news.

which is AOC to Politico yesterday in a headline I missed says, quote, are you running for president? Quote, I can't say I've ruled it out. That is the closest she's come. She's always played it down. She's refused to answer. She's dodged, gotten out of bounds. That's the closest she's ever come to saying, yeah, I might or yeah, I will. So what do you make of that?

What does that tell us, guys? Yeah, I mean, we've been saying this for, I don't know, six, eight months that, one, she's definitely running for president. Two, she is the heir apparent to the Bernie movement, which, if not for Democratic shenanigans, probably won in 2016, certainly had huge influence before Democrat shenanigans in 2020. And then it basically operated the entire ideological policy agenda of the Biden administration as a concession to get him into office. So she's the heir apparent to all of that. But I also will say this, as dumb as she comes off to people, reasonable people and you know her a historical sort of ridiculous conception of what america is notwithstanding

she's got real talent and she and she does have EQ and if you notice what she's doing where she has colleagues that are sort of running themselves into these long-term meat grinders she's avoiding them a bit and so she would not endorse platinum yeah i i would caution people who just easily hand-wave AOC away and say that she's not a serious candidate. She's a deadly serious candidate. There was also the story in Axios a couple days ago. I don't know if you guys saw it, where they were drawing parallels between some of her recent rhetoric and Barack Obama's rhetoric. We played the sound bites yesterday. Yeah, so she is studious about maintaining this image as a potential bridge builder for her party, recognizing the fact that her party is as

divided as hell. You've got the radical communists on one side and the And then you have the old school Democrats who are trying to get elected on the other side. And she is presenting herself as a potential bridge to pull those two sides together. You can see her working to try to make this happen. There was one other quote from AOC that I saw yesterday that I thought it was pretty instructive to this dynamic where she's trying to triangulate between the Bernie Sanders wing and your sort of run-of-the-mill Democrat. at her they were talking about the DSA and she said you know growing up I didn't come from a militant leftist family I came from a working class family and I thought that oh that's interesting it's an interesting deep painting you didn't really come from drawing a contrast family that leaned into its

Hispanic background either sandy there's a lot about her background yeah she did she didn't all of that is true but now she's a made woman in DSA politics and so you can get away with some of that stuff much as Barack Obama was a maiden. Yeah, exactly. Just yesterday saying I'd endorse her for anything. I think she'd be good at anything. So that's, you know, DSA in chief. And yeah, I think I like that plan for her. I don't want AOC to be president, but I like it as a political positioning for her that I can bridge that gap. She probably could. I don't know who the real AOC is. I have no idea. Her name is Sandy and she grew up in Westchester. But it's a good opportunity for her. And I have to say in the 10 seconds left, You know, it would have been an amazing match at the presidential contest level.

Okay, guys, while we're on politics, two items we've got to get to. The first is funny, and the second is great. Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton still together after all these years.

They jetted off to Europe for a summer vacation. And I just want to show you the tape because they just look like the perfect lovebirds. I mean, you can see that they're keeping the flame alive. What, 50, there she is. Dress like the hamburger. Meandering the streets of Italy, I think. And where's Bill? I'm sure he's here.

Oh, okay. His hat looks maga adjacent. His shirt looks like it needs another button up top, fellas. And if you can see the pants, I'm not sure why they're so short, but he's got the ankles, the naked ankle thing going that some of the hipster young guys do these days. do these days. The interesting thing is there is about 20 feet between the two of that. They clearly still want nothing to do with one another. It's very interesting. I don't know what goes on in that weird marriage homes, but I love watching it from afar. You know, he's got the shirt

on button. He's got the tight jeans, the ankle roll. He's trying to attract the Italian women, if you ask me, the man's not out of the game yet. Oh, he's still a young troubadour. Still got some gas. What about her? You don't think Hamburger is attractive to the young Italian men? You know what? I'm just glad, Megan, that they didn't try to recreate that picture of them dancing in their swimming suits right after the Paula Jones scandal back in the 90s. Remember the one that was on every tabloid front page?

Trying to show that their marriage was strong. I remember Paula. I don't remember those two in swimsuits. Oh, yeah. Don't Google it. You don't want to go. It's like the main Senate race. No, no, thank you.

So that, you know, tip of the cap to them together after all these years. I do think, Megan, can I just say the MAGA adjacent hat is very interesting to me because in 2024, I think we all remember when Bill Clinton was on the stump in Georgia talking about how important it was that Democrats start talking about the border again. And all the lefties were like, how dare you say that? That's off message. You can't say it. But he put 42 on his hat.

I really think that there are. Right there in the picture we're showing. Yeah. I really think there are some aspects to Trump that Clinton secretly admires. I believe this. That's a fascinating theory. I believe it because Trump is a moderate. Trump is not at all the crazy figure that the media portrays him to be.

And I'll bet you, I mean, Clinton was never one of the, he probably hates the DSA. Oh, yeah. He probably hated the open border. he was a more moderate dem. Yeah, for sure. And we were just talking about AOC and her pathway to the White House. It was Bill Clinton's political advisor last week, Jim Carville, who said it's not going to happen. She'll never get there.

So if those guys still have hive mind in some level, they don't like the left-wing lurch of that party. Oh, that's interesting. I wonder if he's telegraphing a message there. Like, you know, you can be MAGA adjacent, and that might be preferable. You might be a better way to run for office as a dem than far left, you know, get rid of the U.S. Senate, get rid of the Pentagon, get rid of police, get rid of prisons, all that mania, which is not me being unfair to them. That's actually the DSA's platform. Okay, the second item is about Joe Biden. He is still, to this moment, fighting to stop the release of the audios, the audio recordings from his interview. with Robert Hur, the special counsel who was investigating whether he shared classified information inappropriately with his ghost writer or the co-writer, whatever, on his book.

And Robert Hurd found that he had, he had done that, but that he was not going to prosecute him because he was a well-meaning elder layman with a poor memory. And that's how a jury would see him. They wouldn't want to punish him. Well, the interview, the transcript had been made public. We have read from it extensively. I'm sure you guys have as well. And there's been a push by this one group to get the actual audio, which exists, released.

And he has been fighting it. He and his team do not want that out. Now that he's not even in office, it's truly like, well, what's the point? The point is he doesn't want us to know with our ears how bad he was. It's yet another piece of evidence that puts the lie to the lies we were told by the media and his team for all those years. So what's happened now is a federal appeals court, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has rejected a request by Biden to block the release of audio recordings and transcripts of interviews he did with a memoir ghostwriter prior to being

elected president. The three-judge panel from the D.C. Circuit suspended its decision on the matter until August 3rd to allow Biden more time to consider another appeal so he can do one of two things. He can ask for an en banc review, like every judge on the D.C. Circuit to come together and review this. Or you can go right. to the Supreme Court and asked them for a review. Neither one's going to pan out for him. But here is what the two judge majority said. We conclude that any remaining incursion on personal privacy from disclosure of the now redacted materials likely does not outweigh the public interest in disclosure. So this, it looks like, guys, is going to come out. And I wonder if

you're a Democrat, if you're thinking, just let it come out now. Just let, like, just get, like, July is better than mid-August, right? Like, the closer we get to midterms, the worse it is. And maybe, like, if he petitions for an en banc review, that'll get us through probably until September 3rd. Now we're even closer. Whatever body he petitions next is going to say no, and they're going to say no quickly.

But the longer he delays this, the more it's going to hurt when it comes out. Because the audio is probably coming out and we're all going to feast on it. And I'm sure the party, which would much prefer at this point, he just roll over and take his licks on July 21st as opposed to October 31st. Yeah, I think that's entirely right. I mean, the problem is that it completely eviscerates the credibility of just about every Democrat in Washington, D.C. And the her saga in and of itself is a perfect reminder to the American people, just what the Democrat establishment is capable of.

here's a guy that goes in with full intent of prosecuting a sitting president of the United States for keeping classified information. And his conclusion is I can't prosecute him because he doesn't know what he's doing. He's an invalid, essentially. And that comes out in the entirety of the Democratic Party, its mouthpieces in the media, the folks like the pod bros, everyone just assails her. her because like this is he's doing the maga's bidding basically making this guy uh into something that he's not and then like four five six months short months later the american people are treated to exactly what her was behind closed doors and you can see this on a debate stage and realize that all along every single democrat was willing to lie to your face in the blind pursuit of power that is a

very troubling thing as you enter a midterm election. Yeah. And I think like at a base level, the tapes need to come out for, you need to restore the character and reputation of her himself because of the way that the Democrats assailed him. It was entirely unfair. Why the Biden, why the Biden team is trying to suppress his information. I mean, I guess it's embarrassment. But like at this point, dude, they forced you off the ticket. You were the sitting president of the United States, like, whatever you said on that tape, unless it's like, I actually did more crimes. Well, he couldn't remember the year. You're prosecuting me for, like, what could be more embarrassing?

Remember, Duncan, he couldn't remember the year in which Bow died. But we already kind of knew that, right? We don't have the proof of that. But, I mean, man, they forced you off the ticket and then you guys lost to Donald Trump again. Like, pull the Band-Aid off. He couldn't remember the year he was vice president. Yeah. Remember?

That was one of the other. He was like, what year was my vice president again? I mean, this guy, like, but Megan, this guy went, this guy went to a memorial service for a congresswoman from Indiana and introduced the dead woman on stage. I mean, we knew all that. You know what I mean? Like, all of this was very public for anybody who was interested in listening to it. But those liberal ecosystem sort of media information flow folks just kept holding on and lying to the American people. Well, it's going to come out. I have no doubt of that. There's no privacy interest that justifies keeping this confidential at this point. So, you know, buckle up, boys. Okay. We talked to yesterday on this program about the Sunny Hosten debacle. And you guys are always saying, you know, you only see the view clips when you come on this program. And here we have a massive view story. And you were ready for it. When this broke, the guys at the Routless Variety program were ready for it because of all.

all the view clips you've been subjected to by our show. So Sonny Hosten in this latest incident, do you guys know the story? Yeah. Okay, yes, her son, who's 24 years old, and she'd really, really want you to know, a Harvard grad. Yeah, of course, he got stopped by police because he was at a rail yard,

and I believe knew Rochelle of Westchester County, and he said he was jogging, and they said, not allowed. This is private property. You're trespassing. And he called her. He called her. I mean, a lot of my viewers yesterday were like, okay, what 24-year-old man calls his mommy when he has an incident involving police officers, if she's a former federal prosecutor or not? He's not getting arrested for murder. You know, it's like you're going to get a citation for trespass. Why did you call your mommy? It's a fair question. I got to be honest. But whatever, he did.

If my son called me at any age, I'd go. I'd help him. But it was her hypocrisy that was so rank to me and to a lot of the audience as well. Just she's constantly railing about white privilege and just how these elite circles of these evil white Republicans don't allow people like her into them. And she's worried the cops are evil and they're going to, she was, her son's a runner. And she was very worried he was going to get arrested for no reason in Westchester as he was doing. is running. That's not what happened. Actually, what happened is your son violated the law, and very polite police officers actually downgraded what he did to justice citation,

so they wouldn't get in more trouble than he was actually in. I mean, oh, the irony. But now we actually went back, and we found Sonny Hosten. It was very interesting, talking about the J6 partings that Trump issued. And don't forget, yes, there were some who assaulted cops, and that was very controversial for that part. But the vast majority of the people on J6 were just trespassing. They were just crossing into a property, which most of them didn't even know that they couldn't go in there. A lot of them were waved in. And she had no empathy for them whatsoever. Okay, she did not make that distinction in her coverage on the view. But here she was talking in particular, I think, about the cops and and pardons and trespass. Listen here. I was particularly, you know, as a former federal prosecutor, struck by the fact that he was. he would pardon over 1,500 people, especially those that were violent towards law enforcement officer. When you are a prosecutor, you don't only prosecute someone because they've committed a

crime. You also prosecute someone so that you send a message to society that this type of behavior is unacceptable in our society. You know, I always wondered where the big crime wave came from over the last 10 years, but then I learned Sonny Hosten was a prosecutor. So what do you make of it? Because here she is, I'll just give it to the audience who's listening now that might not know. But here she is, again, on the scene, making sure they know she's a former federal prosecutor. What's going on? He was walking along the tracks. On a run, on a walk, and the gate was over and cows out. I see. Yeah. On the phone? On the phone? It's not on the phone with me, actually.

I'm a former federal prosecutor. He knows. He's a hard program who teaches fourth grade geometry to South Bronx kids. Oh, he's not a kid who's for trouble. It's an innocent mistake. I understand you have to do any violation,

but it's something. I think I was walking over there, and I was about the show it's on the time. I was talking, I was talking. I had a big interview they talking about it. She got it all in. Got it all.

I'm a former federal prosecutor. He went to Harvard. In case you missed it, I'm on TV. I had a big interview today. We're all talking about. Everyone's talking about my big interview. She played every privilege card she could. And in the other clip, she also mentions that he's now a Yale researcher and then teaches

fourth graders, all of it. What happened to the important thing about not letting somebody off from a crime they've allegedly committed? is sending a message to all the other would be, in this case, trespassers. And you heard there, she mentioned 1,500 people have been pardoned. And she didn't say, like, okay, I can give you the ones who just trespassed. She had no problem with those people going to jail or being punished disproportionately, by the way, in the criminal justice. None whatsoever, no sympathy whatsoever.

But Harvard's son, he needs to go away. He needs to be exempted from going away because he's her son, guys. Harvard, Yale, former federal prosecutor on TV with a big interview. You see how the thing works? Yeah. Has there ever been a bigger own goal in the history of politics than the left-wing lunatics demanding body cams on police officers? It's so true.

It's so true. They would have the American people believe that every police officer is some racist, bloodthirsty lunatic trying to shoot black people. And every time we see the body cam footage, you always are greeted by these police officers who are nothing but polite and are just trying to de-escalate a situation here. You know, so like that is always what struck me as the funniest part of all of these things is like BLM and in 2020 with the George Floyd protests and everything. They made you think that there was a genocide against black people in this country. And now all these years later, the American people have seen so much body cam footage. It's like, you know what, maybe

maybe it's the left-wing lunatics who are the problem, not the police officers. That's really well said. I also think... By the way, you know who they interviewed on June 16th? J.D. Vance. So she was clearly trying to play up. I'm an important person.

Big interview today. Everyone's talking about it. I mean, how disgusting is she? She was trying to play the view card there. I'm a TV person. I do interviews and every... Everyone knows me. And my kid, this kid, this 24-year-old man, you know, he's never been in trouble before.

Okay, that's fine. You can say he'd never been in trouble before. The Harvard Yale thing was hit repeatedly because of her privilege. Honestly, she's so blind to the fact that she's swimming in it. She's dripping with it. It's coming out of her eyeballs, her privilege. All she can see is the white privilege that she finds everywhere, including. the neighborhood she chose to move to, right before she told the world they were a bunch of

racists who are probably going to target her son with a phone call just because he was running while black. Yeah, no, I mean, it goes to your point, Duncan. You can only imagine what that story would have looked like if there was not body cam, right? That would have been a feature on the view for quite some time. Totally. I mean, it's a great point. I think you really hit the nail on the head here, Megan, in that what I've come to realize is the folks who talk the most about privilege are the people who are most interested in exercising extrajudicial privilege when they have it. Yeah. It's this misconception of society itself that your place within it makes you above or below the law in some way. And I feel badly for people who think this way because it doesn't.

And it shouldn't. But people like Sonny Hosten, who have said, you know, there's white privilege, class privilege, any kind of privilege, everyone else, as long as I disagree with their politics, is subjected to their privilege, but I'm going to use it like an ammo when I have that opportunity, and I'm going to drop the full resume on you. I'll do the federal prosecutor. I'll do the view.

I'll do Harvard, Yale. I'll do all of that stuff when it suits me and my family. Yep, exactly. Like one of those fourth grade boys from, you know, one of the boroughs that he's allegedly tutoring, if they'd been caught,

if let's say it's like their 13-year-older brother, who got caught on those railroad tracks by himself, who didn't have a former federal prosecutor, view host mom to call. Those cops, they probably would have just given them the citation, whatever, and they would have been in the criminal justice system. Her son got off with a lesser penalty, because it was going to be a misdemeanor, because they were being nice. They were being nice to him because she played so many cards.

But she'll never admit that, right? She's pissed. You can tell she's angry at the cops. And you're right. If there hadn't been a body cam, who knows what she would have been alleging. And by the way, I've had more than one person raised with me privately. What was the son actually doing there? Do we fully accept that he was just jogging in the rail yard?

Because I will say it's a little odd. I lived in Westchester, not far from New Rochelle, for a couple of years. It's a beautiful, beautiful county. There are so many places you can run rather than a dilapidated rail yard. It's a little strange. And even Link Lauren, who's not, like, he's not all that provocative on issues like this. He was raising something about this yesterday. I'll play it here in SOT 32.

We've acquired these pictures of where he was allegedly outrunning, but then I think he said he was walking. It says private property, no trespassing. This looks like a sketchy area. Something is not adding up to me, and I know you guys are going to agree with me. Look, we have taken stills of where he's. he said he was out walking at 8 p.m. and a wife beater in this weird area by the train tracks. Now, there are gorgeous neighborhoods, gorgeous neighborhoods in this town. Why are you out behind a warehouse in this industrial area by the train tracks at sunset where there's alleged drug

and other criminal activity? So much so that the police came in droves to the scene of the crime. And we have this diagram we put up on here. You can look at this diagram. right where the cops stop him where you have the no trespassing sign where they meet the officers and we have the body cam footage something isn't adding up to me i think she knows more than she's letting on hmm interesting that is interesting yeah i mean let me ask you this guys yeah if this had been um i don't know pick your like don't trump junior or baron trump um when he was just a candidate and he was running Trump senior. Do you think the media might follow up? I think we'd probably get to the bottom. Without a doubt, Megan. And you know, I was sitting here listening to the conversation and thinking

all along, like, why the hell didn't you just pay the $200 fine or that go online and pay the, you know, put his credit card in for the $75 fine? It's $500. 500. Like everybody else who gets a ticket for something they shouldn't have been doing. But what Link was saying is interesting. Like maybe there is something more to this story that they don't want to let out. When I like to run, I run it apart. I have to tell you guys, my inbox is full of leads like that. That link just asked of people like screenshoting and raising questions. They're not buying the full story.

Go ahead, Duncan. Once I saw the pictures, everything's all sort of rusted out and everything. Then I got what you were saying, Megan, because like if I go running, you want to run in a nice place, like a park. Somewhere without assault. You know, right? Like maybe like your neighborhood. You don't pick out the rusted out place where you're.

can get tetanus and be like, I'd like to do physical activity here. Right. But when we do all the drugs, we do it in a rail yard. Have you guys seen Sunny Hosten's home? I've only seen it because she made me see it. She put it public online because she wanted to show it off. Okay, fine. These are her rules.

We'll go along with them. This is her neighborhood in Westchester. We'll show it. Stand by. Look at this. Wow. I feel like I might jog in this neighborhood without any. qualms whatsoever.

It is a little weird. Nice backslash. Yeah. Because he jogged in Westchester. I don't know where he actually lives, but he jogged in Westchester. And I believe in the same town as mom. And this is mom's house. This is where he grew up.

He was living there, whatever, I guess six years ago when he was an 18-year-old young man. And now he's a Harvard grad. And choosing to run in some very, very seedy area. So I do wonder as well. thing reeks and exposes her. As so many of the stories have today of these Democrats, as a hypocrite. She's just a hypocrite. You know, they say one thing and they do a different thing. It's rules for thee, but not for me. Why, the view pays better than I thought they would. I mean, for a lightly attended show in the middle of the day. The Windsor family in England

doesn't live in a house at night. Do you see the Tudor structure and everything? I mean, I feel like King Edward didn't have that. I think I saw three. oven hoods. Yeah. A three oven hood home? Well, you know, you're exhausting a lot of smoke in that situation. It's impressive to think about it. Okay, now, while we're talking about individual figures in the news, we got to touch on Tom Brady.

Oh, yeah. I have been wondering about Tom Brady for a while because I noticed in my own just, you know, observation. He's overexposed. And it's a strange decision. for someone that famous and talented and accomplished to need over exposure, to need like the daily clicks as badly as he seems to. So I saw Dave Portnoy draw attention to this because Tom Brady did this stunt. I'll show it to you.

He's doing something with Logan Paul on stage at a WWE event. And this was on July 17th where he slapped Logan Paul. Watch. It's not 29. Okay, so that got all sorts of buzz, and it was odd. I didn't know whether that was a stunt, you know, for clicks or real. Then came two days later, this at, I actually don't know where it was, but it was the two of them once again, and it's Tom Brady give a World Cup,

giving Logan Paul the finger. Watch. Both people with the finger. Okay. Then came Barstores. sports and, well, Dave Portnoy with a commentary on what the hell they're doing, the very next, not what the hell Brady is doing the next day. It's not top 25.

Tom Brady, chopping it up with Logan Paul. And they're doing there at the fanatics thing. He hits them with a chair. Not good. They're at the World Cup game. He gives them the bird, Logan Paul. This to me is one of the great downfalls of an icon with Tom Brady. And the way he is acting post-retirement is.

It's a legacy that is being lamified. I use that word. People like, was that me? It means he's becoming very lame. And it's a guy who, very few athletes, Michael Jordan, messy, Beckham, Gretzky. These are like superstars that seem so above the fray that you don't want to see him mixed up in all sorts of lowbrow, TikTok, flag football leagues in Saudi Arabia or whatever it is. The rest, everything about him is cringy right now to me.

All right, so that's Portnoy. And I agree with Portnoy. He came on this show and we talked about Brady one time. And he's been ripping on him for a long time. But he's not wrong there. I had the same feeling like, what's he doing? And Jason Whitlock, who we love, went on his podcast yesterday. I recommend listening to the whole thing.

It's a great download. But he asked it this way. It was such a good line. I don't want to butcher it, but it was, what does like a goat do, you know, greatest of all time, when the applause stops? Oh, that's good. He's so good.

Jason knows sports very well, but he's also a profound thinker. Here he is in part in SOT 24. Michael Jordan understood something Tom Brady doesn't. Absence creates myth. After basketball, MJ didn't chase relevance. He withheld it. The Air Jordan brand does $6 billion a year. Jordan barely speaks publicly.

When he does, it's an event. NBC paid Jordan what, $60, 70 million for one interview, one really boring, bad interview? The lesson, Jordan monetized his greatness by protecting it. He built an ecosystem that works while he stays silent. Scarcity is the strategy. Jordan doesn't need the camera. The camera needs Michael Jordan. That's power.

Brady is doing the opposite. He's everywhere. The Fox booth. Widely paying. The functional beverage hawking. The crypto entanglement. The roast. And now bits with influencers half his age.

There's nothing wrong. with a man making money. The question is, what's he trading for it? Hmm. So good. Good question, right? What do you make of it? I think they're exactly right. I mean, if you look at,

Jordan is always the pinnacle. He's always what any goat will be compared to because he's managed his image so well. But also, I mean, look back in those 90s Bulls teams, right? It was Dennis Rodman that was doing the WWE stuff and all that,

because you know Dennis was married himself yeah right I mean because Dennis that was his brand and he needed that to be relevant in the public conversation Michael Jordan didn't need that he didn't need it because he was the greatest of all time Tom Brady doesn't need any of this stuff I mean he is as accomplished as any professional athlete in our area you think Tiger Woods think Michael Jordan you know it and yet we're dealing with TikTok influencer bullshit I mean just putting him in the same room as Logan Paul is offensive to me, let alone doing a bit where he's like k-fabing, a wrestling match. Yeah.

Like this will end somewhere on some TikTok thing where they get $50 million to throw a couple of fake punches and one of them goes down. And it's like, oh, this is funny and whatever. It's not funny. It's not funny when you're the greatest of all time. You don't need that shit. Well, as a Colts fan, it's not hard for me to find something to criticize Tom Brady about.

I mean, this guy and his team when he was, you know, QB at the Patriots broke my heart basically every year for about 10 years. But when you're hearing criticism from Dave Portnoy, who is a huge Patriots fan and a guy who made his career making content, I mean, he like knows the game better than anyone. People don't understand how smart he is. That's how you know it's gone too far. And like when you become the goat, whether you're messy or Tom Brady or Wayne Gretzky, it becomes a relationship. it becomes a relationship with the public. Like in the same way that a former president of the United States wouldn't diminish themselves.

Like Barack Obama. Right. Like Barack Obama has. Unlike his wife. Yeah. Or like how kind of Tom Brady is now with the weird skits on TikTok, it diminishes the brand. And like, what locks exactly right on the scarcity is a real commodity? It's a reason why diamonds are so expensive, right?

You don't need to be out there every single. When we put you up on that pedestal, we expect you to stay up there with some measure of unavailability. I agreed with how Jason put it. Like, if you're too available to us and, you know, we revered you, like nationwide. Sure, some sports people didn't like Brady because for the reasons you just said, Duncan, but there was a begrudging respect no matter who you'd talk to. Nobody could make the case. He wasn't a great football player or would take issue with his accomplishments. It's, but he won't stay up there.

He refuses to stay up there. And I don't get it because Fox is paying him almost $400 million for his contract right now, not to mention all the hundreds of millions he made as a player with all of his endorsements and so on. He does not need the money. There's zero chance. And I got to say, Megan, as a football fan, he's great at that job. And he adds an element from having played quarterback to all of his commentary around the NFL games that gives you an insight behind the curtain into like how you.

read a defense and like what the quarterback should be doing here. He's gotten phenomenal at actually doing the job on on Fox's football coverage. So like, I have to, I have to take issue with you because Doug Brunt would tell you he disagrees strongly. He does not like Brady's football commentary. I love it. And I was skeptical. He's an Eagles fan, though. Yeah, right, right.

We all have our biases. As a Colts fan, I was, I was late to the game on embracing Tom Brady in the booth. Let me tell you. But I have found a lot of value, particularly. like in the playoff stuff and everything. He did a great job. He's gotten a lot better. He has.

Which makes sense. But the point is simply that he's he's gamefully employed. It's not like he shouldn't be bored. And he's got plenty of money in the bank. So why would you be doing influencer stunts? And here's what's interesting, Ashbrook. Wittlock posits that everything started going south when he divorced Giselle. That when a man has a wife and a family to come home to every night.

they ground him in the best sense. And they give him something to strive for, like the respect of that family, the earned respect, the values that you're trying to teach your children and as the head of that family. Like all the things that run through a man's mind when he goes off to work

or sits down at his desk to work are no longer really motivating Tom Brady. He's like allegedly sleeping with Alex Earle or this other model or that model. He's, you know, from party to party, from red carpet event to red carpet event. And I do think for like a younger man in his 20s, that might sound very sexy. I think when you're, what, 47? How old is he?

He's right up there. Years old, 48. And you've lost, you've lost the greatest supermodel in the world and full-time custody of your kids. After a couple years, which it's been now since they divorced. And she's off with another great-looking guy and just had a sweet baby boy with him. maybe you start to realize you can't fill all these holes in you with another writ carpet event or influencer stunt or yet another 10 hundred million. There's only one way of filling it. And it actually does take the toiling work of building a family, being faithful, making your meals together, going to church on Sundays, all the stuff that your average American does in order to find happiness.

Yeah, Whitlock is, his observations are always astute. And he has a way of conveying stuff in a very simple manner that I think everybody sort of digest and appreciates. I mean, I won't pretend to know what's going through Brady's mind. But I do know that if I went home every night and just scrolled TikTok and then woke up the next morning, I'd be like, well, where the hell did my night go? Because that wasn't worthwhile. I mean, you can easily see. Empty calories. It is.

It is. And it's like, what's it for? Like, oh, another video. oh, great, oh, that person was fine. Maybe you get a couple of laughs. There's value in having a couple of yucks. But, like, spending a lot of time on social media and TikTok, it's just not fulfilling. Yeah, let me take a counterpoint on some of it.

Uh-oh. Look, this is a guy who had everything, and obviously we mentioned the Giselle thing, and late in life he becomes America's most eligible bachelor. Handsome guy, no question about that. I got no problem with him running through every supermodel in the country. I really don't, right? You would expect that sort of thing. She left him with the yoga instructor for crying out loud.

I'm not having the problem with it. The theory is that he is actually not enjoying that as much as he would have us believe. Well, maybe. But I also think that the other component of this is your representation. When you get to be that big of a deal, you're surrounded by teams of people that manage your image. 100%. What has happened to Tom Brady is he's got some element of his team that for self-serving reasons wants to book them on all of these things and wants to keep him relevant to younger audiences.

They get paid. Because they get paid and they create those connections that they can use for other clients and other things and their own future, whatever. Totally homes. And there's nobody sitting at top of Tom Brady enterprises underneath Tom himself who is saying like, dude, this is the greatest quarterback of our generation. what in the hell are you doing putting him with a TikTok influencer who's like most noteworthy latest thing is fighting Mike Tyson when he's 65 years old like of course this is all joke and this is all ridiculous but nobody's managing that for him and I feel badly for him as a result he really

is the greatest quarterback of his generation and he's getting totally underrepresented in my view well said I totally agree thank you for saying that because this morning I was like it's the I bet you it's the around him who are just looking to cash in on every dollar he can make and he can make an endless amount of them. So they're like cash in, cashing, but this is not some NFL football player who played, you know, the first three-year contract of his life at 200,000 bucks and then left and you have to really capitalize on your fame for the two minutes you have it, you know, because you're not going to play football ever again. This is Tom Brady. And like Whitlock was saying, you don't see messy doing this. Or was it Portnoy. You don't see Beckham doing this.

look at Novak Djokovic. He's, I think, I think he's, we can say he's the goat. Federer's right up there and the doll's right up there. There's, you know, a whole collection that's like right under him. But if you just look at Grand Slam's won and like tournaments won, Jokovic is the goat. And he doesn't do this crap.

You know what you see on Djokovic's social media? Him with his wife and his kids. That's what you see. That's how he spends his time. And I will tell you, I know somebody who knew Tom and Giselle when they were married. and this person told me that that the Giselle very much wanted him to be a stay-at-home

kind of spouse, like be with her in the evenings and be with the family and that he was very interested in going out and being more of a party boy and she's more of a traditional, you know, she's from Brazil. She's like, those women like their men to be more traditional, you know, and I'm sure she did want him to be home as head of household, not like home never leaving, But like, the default is we're all at home at night.

And his default, according to this person, was he wanted to go out. He wanted to party. She didn't want it. And it drove a wedge between the two of them. And I just think that has such a limited short shelf life. You know, it's like you can't, I'll guarantee you he's having second thoughts about that divorce right now, especially as he sees this stunning woman with her sweet baby boy in these little pictures. And the new, you know, the new husband's not bad either. He's the jujitsu instructor, I think.

It's not like she didn't land the plane. I don't allow it. Don't. It's a no. Honey, I don't mind if you put on a few extra pounds. I love you just as you are. You repeat after me. We're going to take a quick break.

some show on Netflix called The Trust in 2024. I don't know. I think it might have been sort of like the mole. I'm not sure what it was, but it was short-lived. It looked interesting, but I was glad to see her land on her feet. She's going a different way at the moment. She's writing on her substack. And she's writing about all the casual sex she's been having since. Come on. Okay. Of course, you saved this for us for our appearance on the show. Let's weigh in. Why should this hour be any different from any other? Yeah. This is Newtown, Connecticut, and this is the week the funerals begin. In fact, one is beginning just across the street. This is the only undertaker in this town of some 27,000 people. A son from her father's brief marriage with an American woman, Anne, whom he met while studying in the United States. Barack and Alma met for the very first time in person back in their 20s. She used to be a serious news anchor. And not only that, she used to really object to any sort of bawdy talk.

Look what she did to poor Clay Travis, who said, I believe in the First Amendment and boobs. I'm a First Amendment absolutist. I believe in only two things completely. The First Amendment and boobs. And so once they made the decision that they were not going to allow a conservative, non-sports-related commentary, they couldn't do it. Hold on. Hold on. I just want to make sure I heard you correctly as a woman anchoring the show. What did you say?

You believe in the First Amendment and BWBS? Booms. Two things that have only never got you moved down in this entire country's history, the First Amendment and boobs. So those are the only two things I believe in absolutely in the country. Why are you sitting here? Live on CNN. Did you notice that?

It's nice to hear a story every once in a while about some journalists who gets knocked down and then stays down and just puts their knees behind their ears. It's a living for the rest of their lives. But it seems like it's working out for, so I don't know. Yeah, I mean, word to the wise, anybody out there in the dating scene, if you happen to meet someone who talks incessantly about their inner peace, they have none of it. Totally true. You know, it's pretty good, but... Beware. Yeah, I just, the only thing I could think when I was watching her video was this seems an awful lot like the last episode of Mad Men when John Hamm goes off to California and he's becoming one with himself at some like yoga retreat center.

And then the whole series ends after that. Yeah. Well, I would say, I mean, she can do what she wants and whatever. But I think she's been in a very toxic industry for a long, long time. I can relate. she had a divorce. Okay, that can be tough. She tried that one show that didn't work out, but that was a good swing and a miss.

It's fine. It was a good swing. And I don't think this is the way out of the funk, Brooke. I do not think this is the way. I actually think if that continues, you're only going to dig a deeper hole for yourself, and you deserve better. That's my own two cents on it, unasked for unsolicited.
