Shocking texts from the Democratic nominee for Attorney General of Virginia J. Jones surfacing in which he wishes former Republican Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert would quote, get two bullets to the head. The texts first reported by National Reviews, Audrey Falberg. Jones sending the texts on August 8th, 2022, to Republican House delegate Kerry Coiner. Jones, who at the time had recently resigned from his post in the State House, was mad that Gilbert and other Republican lawmakers were paying tribute to former state legislator Joe Johnson, Jr., who had just passed away. Jones apparently irritated that Johnson was too much of a Democratic centrist. He didn't like the bipartisan mourning.

The texts not even meant for Koiner. Jones writing at one point, damn, that was for Mark. Jones nonetheless kept texting, and what he sent got even more disturbing. Jones writing, quote, if those guys die before me, I will go to their funerals to piss on their graves. As if that weren't enough, Jones then writing of Speaker Gilbert, quote, three people, two bullets, Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head. Spoiler, put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know, and he receives both bullets every time.

According to National Review, Jones then telephones Coiner and doubles down on his disturbing views. From NR's report, quote, Then at one point he suggested he wished Gilbert's wife could watch her own child die in her arms so that Gilbert might reconsider his political views, prompting Coiner to hang up the phone in disgust. Jones, then resuming the texting, writing, quote, I mean, do I think Todd and his wife Jennifer are evil and that they're breeding little fascists? Yes. Jones's initial approach to dealing with this scandal to attack Donald Trump, putting out a statement accusing President Trump and Jones's Republican opponent, current Virginia Attorney General Jason Mierrez, of dropping smears through Trump-controlled media to assault my character. National Review is Trump- controlled media? That'll be news to Trump. Later, Jones putting out a second statement saying, I take full responsibility for my actions and I want to issue my deepest apology to Speaker Gilbert and his family. Reading back those words made me sick to my stomach. I'm embarrassed, ashamed,

and sorry. I've reached out to Speaker Gilbert to apologize directly to him, his wife, Jennifer, and their children. I cannot take back what I said. I can only take full accountability and offer my sincere apology. Mierrez, responding on X, writing in part, quote, My job is to stop violence to protect innocent lives and keep people safe. I cannot imagine someone running for this job who advocates for violence. So far, Democrats sticking by Jones, with Democrat gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger condemning the texts, but stopping short of calling for Jones to exit the race. Virginia lieutenant governor and Republican gubernatorial nominee Winsome Earl Sears reacting Saturday night.

The leadership of the Democrat Party has become consumed with hate. Try to name a Democrat leader who hasn't called the President Hitler. My opponent, Abigail Spamberger, urges often for her supporters to fill their hearts with violent hate. Let your rage feel you, Abigail says. Well, words have meaning. Rage is defined as violent, uncontrolled anger.

The unstable pull the triggers, but they are inspired. by the hate tolerated and encouraged by the leadership of the Democrat Party. Spamberger's continuing support for Jay Jones is also disqualifying her for office. She and her party's irresponsible behavior have brought us to this point. President Donald Trump on truth social calling Jones's messages, quote, sick and demented, saying he should drop out of the race immediately. Early voting started in Virginia on September 19th. Polls show a tight race between Jones and Mierrez.

A Biden-appointed judge sentencing the man who attempted to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to just eight years and one month in prison on Friday. Nicholas Roski, now 29 years old and newly transgender with the female name Sophie, pleading guilty to one count of attempted assassination of a suicide. Supreme Court Justice, prosecutors asking for a sentence of 30 years to life. As part of his guilty plea, Roski admitting he flew from Los Angeles to Dulles International Airport with a firearm and ammo in his checked suitcase, taking a taxi to Kavanaugh's neighborhood with the intent to kill him. Court filings show Roski wanted to take out Kavanaugh before the justice could vote

to overturn Roe v. Wade. This happened after the draft of that decision was leaked by someone to the media, a leak that was never investigated by anyone other than the Supreme Court Marshal, who, surprise, didn't solve it. Roski ultimately getting cold feet after seeing U.S. Marshals guarding the Kavanaugh residents, eventually calling 911 saying he had suicidal thoughts and needed psychiatric help. U.S. District Judge Deborah Bordman giving Roski credit for calling 911 and being sure to use Roski's preferred pronouns and new name. Quote,

This is an atypical defendant and an atypical case. Though she got far too close to executing her plans, the fact remains she abandoned them. Sophie Roski's admission of guilt, an effort to come clean did not occur after or even because she was caught in the act by police. If she had not called 911, law enforcement would never have known about Sophie Roski

and her plot to kill a Supreme Court justice. Good gracious! And get this, the judge even admitting Rasky's, quote, gender transition, played a role in her decision. Quote, I take into consideration the conditions of pretrial confinement and the fact that she is a transgender woman and will be sent to a male-only Bureau of Prisons facility. Judge Bordman spent a year in Jordan after college as a Fulbright scholar. Later, she worked as a federal public defender where she served for 11 years. She was among the first district court judges to block President Trump's executive order purporting to end birthright citizenship. Attorney General Pam Bondi, vowing to appeal the sentence, writing on X,

The attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a disgusting attack against our entire judicial system by a profoundly disturbed individual. The Justice Department will be appealing the woefully insufficient sentence imposed by the district court, which does not reflect the horrific facts of this case. case, end quote. That's code mk at takelean.com. Friday was Judgment Day for Disgraced Music mogul Sean Diddy Combs. His sentence, four years and two months in prison plus a $500,000 fine. In July, a federal jury in Manhattan finding Combs guilty of two counts of transportation to

engage in prostitution. The same jury acquitting Combs of the more serious racketeering conspiracy charge and of two counts of sex trafficking after an eight-week trial where prosecutors put on evidence that his ex-girlfriends were pressured into having sex with paid male escorts known as freak-offs. Those counts carrying a maximum of life in prison. Combs's defense attorneys conceding at trial that their client had committed domestic violence, but arguing his conduct did not amount to running a criminal enterprise or sex trafficking. That strategy appearing to backfire on Friday. U.S. District Court Judge Aaron Subramanian, a Biden appointee, ruling that a sentencing enhancement for coercion of the women, applies in this case.

Combs has been incarcerated in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September of last year. The rapper and businessman apparently banking on his time behind bars coming to a quick end, with prosecutors revealing he booked a speaking engagement for this week in Miami. Diddy's 50-month sentence was below the five years and 10 months to seven years and three months the judge said the sentencing guidelines called for and significantly less than the 11 years and three months the prosecution wanted. Combs's six adult children asking the judge for leniency at the sentencing hearing and his attorneys playing a slickly produced video highlighting Combs's community service and his role as a family man. The rapper who did not testify at trial

addressing the court during sentencing, apologizing to his victims, Cassie Ventura, and a woman who went by Jane at trial. Combs telling the judge, quote, I got lost in excess. I got lost in my ego. because of my decisions, I lost my freedom. I lost the opportunity to effectively raise my children and be there for my mother. I lost all my businesses. I lost my career. I totally destroyed my reputation. I beg your honor for mercy. But in handing down the sentence, Judge Subramanian saying a substantial sentence was required to, quote, send a message to abusers and victims alike, that exploitation and violence against women is met with real accountability. Combs' attorneys say, they will make a recommendation today about which prison to send Combs to. The Bureau of

Prisons will make the final decision on where Combs ends up. Defense attorney Mark Agnifalo, promising Combs will appeal. We are planning to appeal. We think we have strong bases to appeal. The strongest bases is that the jury reached a verdict on coercion. It found there was not coercion. And I think the judge said coercion today as a basis for a sentence, at least a dozen times. The jury's verdict was resoundingly clear. There was no sex trafficking. There was no racketeering.

Everything was consensual. Everything was adult, which is why he was convicted only of the prostitution offense. What we feel happened today was that the judge acted as a 13th juror, one that we did not choose, and that he second-guessed the jury's verdict. And another celebrity crime story is in the news. this time involving former NFL quarterback and current Fox announcer Mark Sanchez in a bizarre situation in Indianapolis. Sanchez was in Indianapolis this weekend to cover the matchup between the Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders in his role as an analyst for Fox Sports. TMZ, the first

report that Sanchez had been stabbed in the city just after midnight. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Sanchez undergoing surgery and now in stable condition, but in a shocking twist, Sanchez was arrested at the hospital and is now facing charges of battery, public intoxication, and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, all misdemeanors. According to a probable cause affidavit and charging information obtained by the Megan Kelly show, and allegedly drunken Sanchez confronted a 69-year-old truck driver who had parked at a hotel's loading dock to recycle the hotel's frying oil. The driver telling police Sanchez opened the truck's door, telling him he did not have permission to be there and that the hotel did not want its

friar oil to be replaced. The driver, telling police that he did not have his hearing aids in at the time, telling Sanchez to contact his manager, but an allegedly unrelenting Sanchez soon thereafter, shoving the driver. The driver then pepper spraying Sanchez, but the affidavit alleges, the former NFL player wiping his face and continuing to attack. The truck driver telling police, he thought, quote, this guy is trying to kill me. He then stabbed Sanchez two or three times. The driver finding himself on the ground and video surveillance from a hotel shows Sanchez throwing him there, according to the affidavit. That video footage has yet to be released to the public. Sanchez skyrocketing to fame as the star quarterback of the University of Southern California,

throwing for over 3,000 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2008, before the team won the 2009 Rose Bowl. Sanchez had mostly a lackluster 10-year NFL career, throwing for 86 touchdowns and 89 interceptions, which my team tells me is not very good. He was perhaps best known for an infamous November 2012 but fumble, no clue what that is, against Bill Belichick's New England Patriots when he was QB for the New York Jets. But Sanchez, remaining in the tabloids by dating a variety of Hollywood celebs, including Eva Longoria and Kate Upton, before settling down with his current wife, actress Perry Matfeld, best known for the role of Mel on the show, Shameless.

He has yet to publicly comment on the incident, though Fox Sports referring to it at the top of its game coverage Sunday. And I'm Chris Myers, along with Brady Quinn, who is stepping in for Mark Sanchez, and obviously we all want to send out our thoughts and prayers to Mark and those involved in Friday's incident as we get ready for today's game. The truck driver treated and released at a different hospital, an anchor for Fox 59 in Indianapolis, sharing photos of the driver in a hospital bed with a neck brace

as well as a large, apparently deep, gruesome-looking gash on the left side of his face. No court date has yet been set for Sanchez. According to the Indianapolis star, Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears, saying, quote, what began as a disagreement between a 38-year-old former professional athlete and a 69-year-old man should not have escalated into violence or left anyone seriously injured.
