The Canadian people are furious after Donald Trump's invasion of Venezuela and Donald Trump's
press conference that he held thereafter referring to what he wants to do in terms of American
dominance in the Western Hemisphere as the Don Row doctrine. The Canadian people have prepared
themselves and are preparing themselves for what Donald Trump's real ambitions are to totally
dominate and control the Western Hemisphere. And as Donald Trump's
said a year ago, turn Canada into the 51st state, turn Greenland into a state, turn Venezuela
into a state, take over the Panama Canal. This is what Trump's ambitions are in
26. If you take a look a year ago, the New York Post cover from January 8, 2025,
which is the name that Donald Trump is invoking now, the Don Roe Doctrine. This is what Trump was
talking about then. This is the New York Post.
post article. And you see it's Donald Trump pointing to Canada saying 51st state. Greenland saying
our land, Gulf of Mexico saying Gulf of America, Panama Canal calling it Panama Maga. Of course,
you know Donald Trump's social media post throughout the past year where he kept on saying that
Canada must become a state. We must make Canada a state. Just think about how beautiful it will
look without the border of Canada has become a, if Canada becomes a state, Stephen Miller's wife,
there's a girlfriend or what I should she posts a photo of greenland just now with the american flag over it i mean
these are truly disturbed people and here's what donald trump said about the don't row doctrine which
trump has defined as conquering Canada taking it over um invading it here's what he said at the
press conference this was not lost on the canadian people play this clip and the monroe doctrine is a
big deal but we've superseded it by a lot
by a real lot, they now call it the Don Roe document.
I don't know.
It's Monroe Doctrine.
We sort of forgot about it.
It was very important, but we forgot about it.
We don't forget about it anymore.
Under our new national security strategy,
American dominance in the Western Hemisphere will never be questioned again.
Won't happen.
Notice what he's saying.
They're dominance.
And this is not about democracy.
I mean, the main opposition.
leader Machado, Donald Trump said that she's weak and that the people don't like her in Venezuela
and that she shouldn't be the new leader of Venezuela. He said the people don't respect her.
Here's what he said. I mean, you would think that if, you know, that she's the Nobel Peace Prize
winner, she's the main opposition leader. If this idea was about democracy, there would be
references to that. But that's not what he said. He said it's about oil. It's about taking over
their resources for American oil companies.
Here's what he said about Machado.
Do you was aware of the location of opposition leader Machado and have you been in contact
with her?
No.
We haven't.
Mr. President.
How many head of patience about Machado?
Mr. President, on Monday.
I think it would be very tough for her to be the leader.
She doesn't have the support within or the respect within the country.
She's a very nice woman, but she doesn't have the respect to be.
I want to bring in Charlie Angus, leader of Midas, Canada, leader of the resistance
tour the Midas Canada tour. Charlie, good to see you. Talk to us about what you're hearing
from the Canadian people right now after this unlawful invasion by the United States of Venezuela.
Well, you know, in Canada for a long time, the issues of Latin America seemed very far away.
We'd seen gunboat diplomacy used time and time again, and we just thought, well, that's not
something we would have to deal with. But Donald Trump is making us deal with.
this and Donald Trump has made it very clear what his agenda is he doesn't give a
damn about democracy he doesn't give a damn about human rights the Canadian
government had opposed Modero on a number of issues in terms of democracy and
human rights but Donald Trump says he doesn't care he wants their oil he
doesn't even believe that their opposition leader will have a place because he
plans to run Venezuela himself good luck Donald good luck with that my sense from the
Canadian people is that you know again last year we would have been
really nervous, we'd have been freaked out by this, there's a sense that you can feel everywhere
of a determination. We understand exactly who we're up against. We understand that this is a
criminal. This man is a convicted criminal who survived for decades, siphoning off dark Russian
money. He's now doing smash and grab politics, banded politics, trying to steal other
nation's resources and it's forcing the rest of the world to decide which side they're on and right
now our leader mark carney has been in content communication with the europeans i don't think the
europeans would have probably backed us at the beginning of last year honest to god i was over at
nato they were freaked out they wanted to appease mega but mega has no friends don't trump isn't
interested in allies so we see this attack on venezuela as setting the stage
for an attack where Donald Trump could go anywhere.
The same language he's used against Venezuela.
He's used against us, a democratic nation,
and he sees that we have immense resources.
The difference is this time, Donald, good luck,
trying to think that you are going to intimidate
or break the Canadian people.
It's not going to happen.
You know, when Trump used the rhetoric, 51st state,
I mean, you were one of the first to say,
this isn't him being funny, this isn't rhetoric.
It's not mere trolling.
this is not just economic warfare language.
I mean, you were really the first person out there,
one of the first people out of to say,
this is war language.
He's actually declaring a war or intentions to go to war with Canada.
He really wants to take it over.
That's his ambition if the Canadian people don't resist.
You and I have covered how Canada has resisted
on the economic side of things,
but very quietly behind the scenes.
Canada has been working on military plans as well, whether it is, frankly, working with the Ukrainians
to learn about the drone technology even more in implementing a strategy in the event the United
States invades with drones, the civilian army of 300,000 people, which I know lots of Canadian
corporate media kind of poohs and goes, ah, that's not, you know, oh, are we really going to
be able to do that, but it's actually, you know, real serious. You've got Prime Minister Carney
reconsidering, you know, the American aircrafts and whether, even though the American aircrafts are
clearly superior aircraft, if Donald Trump is able to manipulate the aircraft, should you be
dependent on that, or do you take a inferior aircraft, but that you can start to control the destiny
of it and build it out with Sweden with with with their plates talk to us about on the
military side because Canada's they're not announcing they're not like doing this to
great deal of public fanfare but they're dealing with the military side of things
quietly it is really extraordinary what's happened in the last year Canada has really
stepped forward on the world stage we're talking about permanent military base in
Latvia to work with the Latvians on the front line against Putin we
We've been there in Ukraine, doing training, but I think the real issue is getting trained
and how to fight these kind of gangster wars of the 21st century, the drone wars.
Our Prime Minister has been meeting with the Swedes, with the Finns.
We are moving dramatically on this, but we're doing it in a way.
Very Canadian, our Prime Minister doesn't want to draw attention and Donald Trump shoots
his mouth off and they don't take us seriously.
That's a real advantage for us.
You know, we are, we always see ourselves as a nation of likeable slackers until you come up against Canadians.
You know, Ben, in the Second World War, we were only 11 million people.
When the Brits were trying to get their people off the shores of Dunkirk, we were already there in Britain.
We had already put troops on the ground.
That's how fast we moved.
We were there in the skies over the Battle of Britain.
You know, while the U.S. was wondering whether there could be peace with Herr Hitler, we had 17 and 18-year-olds on the North Atlantic.
taking out U-boats.
11 million people built the fourth largest air force in the world,
the fourth largest Navy.
We were everywhere.
And then we kind of forgot about it.
But I sense that determination now.
The government's moving on this issue with 300,000 person civilian volunteer force.
I get messages all the time.
People want to be part of this.
People are ready.
But I think what's really the larger issue here is that Trump believes he doesn't need allies.
You know, whenever the, when the U.S. went up against Noriega, you know, they built a whole paper trail in the courts.
When they went up against the weapons of mass destruction, they brought the issue to the U.N.
They were always trying to at least create a sense of international credibility because it was about the international rule of law.
What Donald Trump is saying is he doesn't give a damn about the international rule of law.
This is a direct attack on the U.N. This is a direct attack on all the laws that have been put in place to keep the world peaceful since the second.
World War and Canada stands firmly with the international community. We cannot go along. We're not
going to go along to get along. We cannot appease this man. This man is a convicted criminal who
believes in shakedown politics. So yeah, this has been a real wake-up call for us. And I think
that's the mistake Donald Trump makes every time he shoots his mouth off now. It reminds us to
prepare, not to pick fights, to prepare, to get ready, to be ready, to be ready. The rest of the
world is doing the same thing. The United States is going to be in for a big surprise very soon
because nobody is going to be fooled when Donald Trump threatens the next time. People will be
ready. You know, it's interesting that, you know, I shared earlier the clip of Donald Trump
saying that Maria Corina Machado doesn't have the respect of the people and she would make a bad
leader. You know, you have French President Emmanuel Macron saying, I just spoke with her. I fully
support her call for the liberation and the protection of the political prisoners of the
Maduro regime. Like all Venezuelans, she can count on France's support to raise her voice
in favor of a peaceful, democratic transition that fully respects the sovereign will of the Venezuelan
people. And I think that people expect that Donald Trump's message would be something
along the lines of that, or that would be a response. But you now have a...
this strange situation where Donald Trump seems to say, I'm running it. I'm ruling it. This is
ours. Me, me, me, me, me. Or I'm going to put in another authoritarian puppet who likes me.
We're not interested in democracy. And then you have, and Macron's been stepping up on the
world stage, too, with his support of Ukraine and France offering its military supplies. So it's just
It's just a strange thing to see these dynamics develop where you think, well, surely Donald Trump's going to support Machado, right?
Do you want the Nobel Peace Party?
No, no, no, no, he's not.
He goes, he goes, no.
Well, I think the real issue here is that Trump could have gotten himself some kind of credibility by saying I'm taking down a dictator, human rights, but Donald Trump doesn't believe in democracy and he doesn't believe in human rights.
And he's made it clear he plans to run Venezuela.
well this is a massive country you think that you can run a country without their consent
this is going to go very badly for the United States from the get-go he would have had some
kind of you know paper-thin credibility for this invasion by supporting the Venezuelan opposition leader
but he's not so what you're seeing now is I bet the prime minister Mark Carney is on the phone
tonight to France to Germany to start saying okay what do we need to do here in terms of
making sure that Trump doesn't try and extend this any further,
but Trump is going to be in for big, big trouble
because you can't run a country the size of Venezuela.
You just can't go in and steal their resources
just because you think you're able to get away with it.
You may think you're a big mafia boss, Donnie,
but this is where it's going to hit the road
because the Venezuelan people,
even the ones who didn't support Maduro,
will not support a foreign power taking their resources.
So this is going to be a quagmire from the government.
get-go, the fact that he's now hinting that he's coming for us, he's coming for Greenland,
he's coming for the other countries in Latin America. We're all having to now decide that this
is a world in a new form of war. This is a world war, a hybrid war. This is an opening phase of
the gangster attempt to take over. And we will be ready. And Canadians will stand up. And
Canadians are really reconsidering our position as the quiet, peaceful, next-door neighbors. We will
what we've got to do at this point and charlie we always conclude our video this way we know that
trump's people are always watching this the ambassador uh to canada is always watching this they're all
crews watching this so right now what's your message to donald trump after his unlawful
invasion of venezuela well donald trump you had no uh authority on this and you think you don't need
authority but you do you don't believe that you need the international community well you do
you don't have any friends you don't think you need friends don't think you need allies you do need
allies this is what every government has learned but you are allied to the gangsters you're allied
to putin you're allied to netanyahu you're allied to belarus you are on your own here and you've
taken over a country you've ridiculed their democratic opposition and you think you're going to
run this and you think that canada is going to let you come and use the same level of gunboat
diplomacy on us it's not going to happen don you have no idea what you've unleashed here you have no
idea of the extent of opposition because you've surrounded yourself with criminal morons and donald quite
frankly you are a criminal moron yourself you're a narcissist you're a convicted criminal if you hadn't
lived off russian dark money for all these years you would have been bankrupt long ago and you will
be bankrupt again donald because you are driving your country into the ground and making it a pariah
the international stage. As for Canada, we will do what we've got to do. We will continue
to build our alliances. We will continue to refocus our economy away from the gangster economy
so that we are ready. Whatever happens next, Donald, Canadians will not let you cross the border.
Not now, not ever. We will always be true north, strong, and free.
