Well, I think Johnson was very smart about making sure keeping our troops paid, especially in the Mediterranean where they are right now. We're going to have to come together. We do know this is really driven, as you know, and you've had in this show, Matt Gaetz's ethics complaint. I think once that ethics complaint comes forward, he could have the same problem as Santos has. And I think the conference would be probably better united to be able to move forward and get this all done. Speaker, good to have you this morning. Thank you, sir. That was the former Republican spineless speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, stating that after George Santos has been expelled from the House of Representatives, MAGA Republican Matt Gaetz should be next. I'm Ben Micellis from the Midas Touch Network,

and we are now learning that the ethics committee that had been previously investigating Matt Gaetz for his misconduct, the ethics committee in the House of Representatives is bipartisan. They're the ones who prepared the report that ultimately led to the ouster of MAGA Republican George Santos. They have now requested interviews with at least one witness. We believe there to be requests to other witnesses as well, reviving the probe against Matt Gaetz or into Matt Gaetz for his misconduct. It's also being reported as well by others that an effort amongst other Republicans is currently taking place to coordinate a way to get rid of Matt Gaetz and oust him as payback for undermining Kevin McCarthy. To remind you, the Ethics Committee had previously initiated an investigation into Matt Gaetz and said the following. videos on the House floor, misused state identification records, converted campaign

funds to personal use and or accepted a bribe, improper gratuity or impermissible gift in violation of the House rules, laws or other standards of conduct. And so now they are again re-energizing this investigation into Gaetz. MAGA Republicans are defending Gaetz. Other Republicans who don't necessarily say they're full MAGA are supporting getting rid of Gaetz. They call him a vile person. Let me just give you some witnesses against Matt Gaetz right now. Here is Republican Senator Mark Wayne Mullen saying that when he was on the House floor, he observed Matt Gates brag about crushing erectile dysfunction medication and chasing it with energy drinks so he could have sex with women all night long. You got to think about this guy. This is a guy that didn't have, that the media didn't give a time of day to after he was accused of sleeping with an underage girl. There's a reason why no one in the conference came and defended him because we had all seen the videos he was showing on the house floor that all of us had walked away of the girls that he had slept with. He'd brag about how he would crush ED medicine and chase it with an energy drink so he could go all night. This is obviously before he got married. And so when that accusation came out, no one defended him, and then no one on the media would give him a time of the day. All of a sudden, he found fame because he opposed the Speaker of the House back in November, and he's always stayed there. And he was never going to leave until he got this last moment of fame by saying by by going after a motion to vacate.

It's important to know Congressman Gates has never been charged with any sex trafficking crime. And he gave this statement to CNN in response. I don't think Mark Wayne Mullen and I have said 20 words to each other on the House floor. This is a lie from someone who doesn't know me and who is coping with the death of the political career of his friend Kevin. Thoughts and prayers. Here is Republican Congress member Mike Lawler saying that Matt Gaetz is a vile person. Play the clip. Matt Gaetz is frankly a vile person. He's not somebody who's willing to work as a team. He stands up there, he grandstands. He lies directly to folks. Here is Kevin McCarthy saying that he does not believe that Matt Gaetz and the others who ousted him are actually conservatives. Play this clip. Well, just from a serious point of understanding governing, look, I'm a conservative who loves to govern.

I don't believe them to be conservatives. I just, there's a different rationale. It's driven by Gates, who it was all based upon an ethics complaint that happened in the last Congress. He would throw his country away to try to protect himself from what would come out, it's the truth. By the way, Matt Gaetz, who floated the idea of running for governor of Florida, is polling at around 21% approval rating. You know, these MAGAs like Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, who are in these gerrymandered districts, think that they're very popular. But just like Marjorie Taylor Greene, she can't even sell books. She's so unpopular. I think she was somewhere around 10,000th of all new books that were out.

This is where Matt Gaetz tried to introduce Beijing propaganda during a House committee hearing.

And one of the members in the Biden administration and others at this committee hearing had to correct him and say, yeah, we don't really think it's a wise idea to add propaganda from the CCP into the congressional record. And here is Matt Gaetz recently on the House floor defending George Santos, again, recognizing that he's probably next to go by comparing George Santos's conduct to the conduct of other Republicans who had not been ousted, who converted, misappropriated funds that they spent on women or that they spent wherever. This is what the MAGA Republicans are talking about on the House of Representatives here. Watch Matt Gaetz. It was a procedural double bind that shouldn't be held against Mr. Santos as some sort of adverse inference. Let's also talk about this precedent. The fact pattern as to Mr. Santos is remarkably similar to the fact pattern of former Representative Duncan Hunter. Duncan Hunter used campaign money on girlfriends and trips and home improvements and all sorts of personal lavishes. He was indicted

for those crimes and continued to serve in Congress. He pled guilty to a number of those crimes and continued to serve in Congress. He was in Congress for like an additional pay period after having pled guilty to the very same things that Mr. Santos has been indicted for. And so is it any surprise that MAGA Republicans are trying to have us all focus on Hunter Biden, didn't have a government office, wasn't in the administration of Biden or any administration. I think George W. Bush appointed Hunter Biden like 20 years ago to like run the UN food aid program because Hunter's the L educated, worked at a good law firm before then, but never in a Democratic administration. But here's the chart that MAGA Republicans want us to focus on. Hunter Biden's payments to various women when he was a drug addict. Ooh, wow. That's like,

because the charts that I care about are the charts like this that show the U.S. added 199,000 jobs in November or that the unemployment rate is down to 3.7%. Showed you all of those clips. Let me just show you this clip from CNN announcing that nearly 200,000 new jobs were added and the unemployment rate dropped. Play this clip. And a big jobs report in this morning beating expectations. It is the economy that just keeps on giving. So as MAGA Republicans are having their own civil war, attacking each other, accusing each other of crushing erectile dysfunction medication and showing disgusting photos to each other on the House floor and ousting Matt Gaetz, who absolutely should be ousted. The pro-democracy movement Democrats, President Biden, are talking about jobs, infrastructure. You tell me what you think in the comments. But I think there's a real chance here that

Gates gets ousted. Kevin McCarthy has kind of created the framework to do that. I think part of the George Santos expulsion, too, was a way to kind of further create chaos. Again, it's the right thing to do, but to create some chaos for MAGA Mike Johnson and to kind of undermine Gates and to then eventually go after Gates, which I think Kevin McCarthy is doing right now. It has a big war chest to do it. L.A. Times was just reporting that Kevin McCarthy raised $23 or $25 million for his leadership fund and then would host all of these lobbyists and members of Congress at these luxury hotels where they would spend close to a quarter of a million dollars on hotel rooms and wine and alcohol.
