joy of showing you these clips about how horrific they are, but I do it because it is important to see what the MAGA Republican Party has become. It's not the Republican Party anymore. It's the MAGA Republican Party. They are extreme. They are performative and their entire incentive structure is to cause outrage and to try to get clicks and get on Fox and other right-wing media. So that was Nancy Mace. What was going on down the hallway? Oh, well, you had MAGA Republican Congress member George Santos, whose phone wasn't on. He was just hit with a superseding indictment for 23 new felony counts, including stealing people's credit cards so he could pay his

campaign money, like literally just stealing credit cards. You also had George Santos being charged with creating fake FEC documents claiming that he loaned his campaign $500,000 when he didn't do any of that at all. But here's George Santos being confronted by members of the media saying, you are aware that there was just a superseding indictment filed against you for more crime, stealing people's credit cards. And George Santos is like, what? My phone's off. That's a lie. That's a lie. It's all a witch hunt here. Play this clip. No comment. I did not have access to my phone. nothing to talk about. I need to take a look at what's happening. Did you commit large amount of the brief? Nope. I did not. Did you identify? No. Are you okay, sir? Did you charge them? Did you charge to your credit card, phone cards, money? Did you use their credit cards to reward yourself? That's the allegation. I will look at it. Why shouldn't you be able to vote in the speaker's election? Such a key election when you've been charged with all these crimes.

So you have that going on. Then you have the leader of the RNC, Ronna McDaniel, saying that the terrorist attack on Israel is a great opportunity for MAGA Republicans. Play this clip. Absolutely. I think this is a great opportunity for our candidates to contrast where Republicans have stood with Israel time and time again, and Joe Biden has been weak. And then you have the MAGA Republican echo chamber, despicably. You have Laura Ingraham here, and here she exploits the terrorist attacks against Israel to demand, this is how culty and despicable this network is, that President Biden interfere with the Department

of Justice's prosecution of Donald Trump. Here, play this clip. This is a moment for the United States to come together, to grieve with those who are mourning. Let's be real clear. There is no place for hate in America. OK, well, if he's really against hate, then he should call a prosecutorial ceasefire against his political adversaries like the former president and direct his DOJ and DHS to stop making conservative Americans feel like they're the enemy or like they're the violent extremists out there. Okay. And let's compare that to, for example, to a, what is Democratic Senator Murphy saying?

Here's a Democratic Senator Chris Murphy.. He's spitting the facts right now here. He's just saying it like it is where you've got people like Senator Tuberville, MAGA Republican holding up military promotions. Play this clip. And we've got Senator Tuberville continuing to hold up 300 promotions in the military. Many of these are posts that are going to be supporting the fight in the Middle East. And we have State Department nominees, including an ambassador to Israel, an ambassador to Lebanon that we need to get done as soon as we get back. So, you know, this is a time where Republicans need to put their love of country and their support for Israel ahead of their

partisan beefs with the president or with each other. And hopefully we'll see some progress in the House this week in the name of the defense of this country and of Israel. Okay, that's the truth. Here is a Fox host blaming President Biden for the lack of Senate-confirmed elected officials, and it's the MAGA Republicans who are just blocking it. Play this clip. He has set the tone for a lack of response, lack of Senate-confirmed elected officials, because at the time of the attack, the United States had no confirmed ambassadors to Israel, to Kuwait, to Oman, to Egypt, and more.

The top human rights envoy position, the assistant secretary of state for democracy, human rights, and labor, that has been unfilled for the entirety of the Biden administration. USAID has not had a top Middle East official in nearly three years. So whatever we hear from Biden in an hour, note that those in place are not in contrast to maybe public position. We are well equipped and will lead a response worthy of these atrocities. I wonder who, because the people in those positions are interim. They are not equipped and they are not Senate confirmed. And then you have MAGA Republicans like Tim Scott, a senator from South Carolina, who's running for the Republican nomination for president, totally failing campaign.

And here he, this is all they know is outrage, outrage. Remember, incentive structures for MAGA Republicans, outrage, blame Biden. You get on Fox if you spew this hate and division. So here's Tim Scott claiming that Biden is complicit with the terrorist attacks against Israel. Play this clip. What do you make of the administration's continued efforts to kind of downplay what Iran has done with Hamas? It makes them complicit. You think about the fact that his weakness invited the attacks without any question. His negotiations of $6 billion he gave the Iran helped to fund the attacks. And his first statements out of the administration was telling them to refrain from responding. That is insanity, but it also makes Biden complicit with the attacks.

Okay, well, now back to reality. I mean, just hateful and divisive rhetoric. But again, the incentive structure for MAGA Republicans is they get rewarded for that. But let's go to the land of truth. And let's just see, this is the Jerusalem Post columnist who talked about President Biden's speech and what actually people think about President Biden in Israel. Here, play this clip. Israelis, I think, were warmed, heartwarmed, blown away, maybe even by the speech, which really was strong, made it clear that there is no daylight between the United States and Israel right now, made it clear that the president of the United States is doing everything that he can to stand by Israel, takes the situation as seriously as possible, and made a shot across

the bow by saying to Hamas that America will not tolerate this, but also to Hezbollah, don't you dare think of doing anything. And that is what Israel's really concerned about. So folks, I just want to stick to the facts. And that's why, while I disagree with people like Liz Cheney on a lot of issues, most issues, we don't disagree on democracy and normalcy and trying to call out what Donald Trump is doing, what these MAGA Republicans are doing. I believe Donald Trump himself and what he did to try to overturn the election in 2020, to try to seize power, threatened that fundamental structure of our constitutional republic. And I think it's an ongoing threat, one that we all have to come
