For six years, I have been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, where's Hunter? Well, here's my answer. I am here. Hunter Biden arrived on Capitol Hill on Wednesday and said, I'm here. I am ready to testify publicly before the world, before your committee. But I am not doing any secret depositions where you will all manipulate the facts, as you've done to try to tarnish my name and my family.

And as you have before with other witnesses, I'm Ben Mycelis from the Midas Touch Network. Hunter Biden showed up to challenge the MAGA Republicans and say, look, I'm not going to be sitting for your closed door deposition that you've scheduled for today. But as you previously have said, if I would be willing to do a testimony in public, that is something that you would want. So I'm here to testify before the world publicly. I'm here today to make sure that the House committee's illegitimate investigations of my family did not proceed on distortions, manipulated evidence, and lies.

And I'm here today to acknowledge that I've made mistakes in my life and wasted opportunities and privileges I was afforded. For that, I am responsible. For that, I am accountable. And for that, I am making amends. But I am also here today to correct how the father, a brother, and a husband from a loving and supportive family. I'm proud to have earned degrees from Georgetown University and Yale Law School. I'm proud of my legal career and business career. I'm proud of my time serving on a dozen different boards of directors. And I'm proud of my efforts to forge global business career. I'm proud of my time serving on a dozen different boards of directors and I'm proud of my efforts to forge global business relationships. For six years MAGA Republicans including members of the House committees who are

in a closed-door session right now have impugned my character, invaded my privacy, attacked my wife, my children, my family, and my friends. They have ridiculed my struggle with addiction, they have belittled my recovery, and they have tried to dehumanize me, all to embarrass and damage my father, who has devoted his entire public life to service. For six years, I have been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, where's Hunter? Well, here's my answer. I am here. Let me- And here Hunter Biden talks about the repeated lies, the distortions, the attacks on his life, his integrity, his Smith, and their colleagues have distorted the facts

by cherry-picking lines from a bank statement, manipulating texts I sent, editing the testimony of my friends and former business partners, and misstating personal information that was stolen from me. There is no fairness or decency in what these Republicans are doing. They have lied over and over about every aspect of my personal and professional life, so much so that their lies have become the false facts believed by too many people. No matter how many times it is debunked, they continue to insist that my father's support of Ukraine against Russia is the result of a non-existent bribe.

They displayed naked photos of me during an oversight hearing. And they have taken the light of my dad's love, the light of my dad's love for me, and presented it as darkness. They have no shame. These same committee chairmen have engaged in unprecedented political interference in what would have already been a five-year investigation of me. Yet here I am, Mr. Chairman, taking up your offer when you said we can bring these people in for depositions or committee hearings, whichever they choose. Well, I've chosen.

I am here to testify at a public hearing today to answer any of the committee's legitimate questions. Republicans do not want an open process where Americans can see their tactics, expose their baseless inquiry, or hear what I have to say. And here Hunter Biden says, my dad literally saved my life. And the fact that you would suggest or state that him saving my life is grounds for impeachment. It's horrific. Play this clip. Let me state as clearly as I can. My father was not financially involved in my business, not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Burisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist.

During my battle with addiction, my parents were there for me. They literally saved my life. They helped me in ways that I will never be able to repay. And of course, they would never expect me to. And in the depths of my addiction, I was extremely irresponsible with my finances. But to suggest that as grounds for an impeachment inquiry is beyond the absurd. It's shameless. There's no evidence to support the allegations

that my father was financially involved in my business because it did not happen. And then the MAGA Republicans on Capitol Hill prove the point for Hunter Biden about why he wants to do this transparently. You saw MAGA Republican James Comer out in the halls of Congress, again, just attacking reporters, defaming Hunter Biden. Here you go right here with MAGA Republican James Comer saying, this has been serious. This has been serious. Here, play this clip. This is a normal process in an investigation. This has been a serious, credible, transparent investigation from day one. We've published four bank memorandums. We've had countless press conferences.

This is an investigation about public corruption at the highest levels. We have accumulated mountains of evidence that's concerning to an overwhelming majority of Americans. We have specific questions in there, and I think we're going to allow you in there to see the piles and piles of documents, of bank statements, of emails, of text messages that we've worked very hard on in this committee over the last eight or nine months.

So you're accusing Joe Biden's attorneys of inventing the law firm that represented all the shell companies? Of the long-running money. That represented all the shell companies? You think those lawyers have the money? What do you think? You're defending them.

I mean, you're acting as a criminal defense attorney. That's a very serious crime to be saying that. Are you positive that that money came from Joe Biden? You agree with that? Are you positive? Look, we have a lot of questions. Next question. Are you going forward with contempt? I'll let you. And here, MAGA Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene tries to talk about sex trafficking. And then James Comer and Jim Jordan basically stop the press conference

and then try to walk away. Play this clip. That was immortalized in emails that you guys leaked from Hunter Biden's laptop. I would like to have asked Hunter Biden about me and that violation. Sex trafficking women across state lines. Thank you all very much. Thank you. That would have been a good question.

Oh, and by the way, here's MAGA Republican Jim Jordan, the congressman who defied the subpoena has some thoughts, everybody. Here, play this clip. People in for an interview behind closed doors where you can get those facts. And then, as the chairman said, we'd love for him to come public. Finally, I would say this. Mr. Biden's counsel and the White House have both argued that the reason he couldn't come for a deposition was because there wasn't a formal vote for an impeachment inquiry. Well, that's going to happen in a few hours. We think it's going to pass.

We think the House of Representatives will go on record with the power that solely resides in the House to say we are in an official impeachment inquiry phase of our oversight. And when that happens, we'll see what their excuse is then. They should have been here today, but once we take that vote, we expect him to come in for his interview, for his deposition. And frankly, we'll also, I think, look at contempt proceedings as we move forward. Okay, now compare this to Democratic Congress member Jamie Raskin in the halls of Congress today. Play the clip.

President Biden has done nothing wrong. They have not laid a glove on President Biden and they have no evidence of him committing any offense, much less an impeachable offense. So this is where we are. committing any offense, much less an impeachable offense. So this is where we are. We take it that the Republicans, if they can get their votes together, are planning to vote to conduct an impeachment inquiry today, a repetition of everything that we've seen over the last 11 months. But we are in a remarkable juncture for the U.S.

House of Representatives because this is an impeachment inquiry where no one has been able to define what criminal or constitutional offense they're looking for. We don't know what the crime is. You know, the mysteries are called a whodunit because it starts with a crime and then you try to determine who committed it. This is more like a what is it, not a whodunit. We don't know what the crime is. And there are thousands and thousands of pages of evidence. But all of the evidence demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that President Joe Biden is not guilty of any impeachable offense that we can determine. And with that, I'm going to. Or how about Democratic Congress members

Jared Moskowitz and Dan Goldman play the clip. Their impeachment witness says everything we know, the tens of thousands of documents that the White House has turned over, something that the Trump administration never did. Their witness says it doesn't rise to the level of impeachment. It was totally an awkward moment. But what this is about at the end of the day is that Donald Trump has 50 percent of the impeachments in American history and he has 100 percent of the indictments. And Joe Biden has none of that. And so they can't save donald trump but what they're trying to do is please please the former president by putting numbers on the board on joe biden even though there is no evidence of that you just heard the speaker speaker johnson say

that he prays and he compares himself to moses by the way but he prays that you know they won't impeach a president because they don't like him. Well, apparently his prayer is not going to be answered because hypocrisy knows no bounds in the Republican majority. So folks, that's what's going down on Capitol Hill today. Hunter Biden showing up, challenging the MAGA Republicans, saying he wants to be there for a public hearing so the world can see, so there's no more tampering with the so-called laptop or versions of a laptop and no more tampering with the text messages and manipulating the data.

Just ask the questions and he'll answer the questions. But no, MAGA Republicans want this to be a secret closed-door hearing, a secret closed-door deposition so that they can try to manipulate the evidence as they've done before. We all want transparency. Hunter Biden said he's going to do it in public. But of course, the MAGA Republicans have revealed who they are. And I, for one, am glad that Hunter Biden showed up, said, I'm ready to do this publicly. But now MAGA Republicans are, oh, it's got to be closed
