I'm Ben Micellis from the Midas Touch Network, the MAGA Republican Congressman-elect George Santos from New York's 3rd Congressional District, who was exposed last week for lying about literally every single aspect of his life, has now admitted in a series of interviews that he was, in fact, lying. However, he calls it merely embellishing. He says,

I'm not a criminal and that this shouldn't be held against him. He says he's not going to resign, that people don't care and shouldn't care that he lied. He claims that people embellish, that's the term he uses all the time, and that he would continue to try to represent New York's third congressional district. Now, this is deeply personal as well, one, as an American, two, I grew up in that congressional district. I interned for Congressman Steve Israel, who was the congressman of the second congressional district. The district somewhat merged and it became the third congressional district.

Having this despicable fraud trader as a congressman-elect who literally lied about everything and now apparently thinks that's perfectly acceptable to lie about every aspect of your life and say it's merely an embellishment is utterly despicable. So he lied about going to college at Baruch College. He admits that he lied. In this interview, he says the following. He says, I never went to college. I'm embarrassed about that, but I never went to Baruch College. Quote, I didn't graduate from any institution of higher learning. I'm embarrassed and sorry for having embellished my resume. He goes, I own up to that.

We all do stupid things in life. We don't make up that we went to a college, Baruch College, or make up that we went to college when we run for Congress. I'm sorry. That's just not something that's normal. He lied about his jobs. He claimed he worked for Goldman Sachs, and he claimed he worked for Citigroup. He'd worked for neither. Now what he claims is that he used his words inartfully when he was a consultant. He did work with Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. He didn't actually work with them. He should have been more articulate, complete and utter BS. I doubt he even

did any work at all with Citigroup or Goldman Sachs. That doesn't mean you say that you worked there on your resume, that you held jobs as an asset manager in Citigroup when you held no such job and there was no such job that even existed at Citigroup when you held no such job, and there was no such job that even existed at Citigroup. He admits that he lied about being Jewish. This is particularly weird and very disgusting. I mean, he claims that his grandparents fled the Holocaust, which was utterly false, that that didn't take place. I mean, how sick and disgusting do you have to be to lie there? And then he says, I never claimed to be Jewish. I am Catholic. However, because I learned about a Jewish background, what I said was that I was Jewish, I-S-H, not that I was actually Jewish. And the reason that he lied about being Jewish is that there's a large Jewish population in the third congressional district in Long Island. So he was trying to endear himself to

the Jewish constituency in the third congressional district by lying about his religion. He lies that his grandparents were Holocaust survivors. He lied that his mom was in the South Tower on 9-11 and that she survived the planes crashing into the towers on 9-11 and that she managed to escape. That's utterly false. He lied about that he has employees at all. He doesn't have employees. And he lied that four employees were at the Pulse nightclub shooting. That was a lie. He lied about the charity that

he was a part of, but he specifically picked these outlets to give these interviews with so that he could get softball questions and say, oh, I was just embellishing things. And don't we all just embellish? What he is completely terrified of though is answering the important questions here and he goes, he kind of tips it off, he goes, I'm not a criminal, I'm not doing anything that's criminal. Look, you are a liar about every single thing in your life. By the way, one of the other things he lied about, he lied that he had all of these real

estate properties when in fact he was evicted twice as a tenant in 2015 and 2017. In 2015, he owed his landlord about $2,200. In 2017, he owed his landlord in Queens approximately $10,000. There is a $12,000 judgment from his landlord against him. And then he has the audacity to lie and pretend that he's a landlord and that he blames his tenants, which don't exist, for not paying rent at his properties, which do not exist. And he took the position that there are these deadbeat tenants out there. This is a line that he would use when he would campaign who are not paying the rent that they should be paying to him. An utter lie. But he used GoFundMe pages because he didn't have any money. All of a sudden though,

in 2021, he comes into money. He has this group called the Devolder Organization, which he now claims in his most recent congressional disclosures that he made $750,000 in salary and then made a million dollars in dividends. And then he lent his campaign $700,000. So in 2020, when he ran and lost, he claimed he had this job at LinkBridge that was paying him about $50,000. So he never really held a job where he earned more than $50,000 a year. And now all of a sudden when he ran this time, he claims that he's making millions of dollars a year. And now all of a sudden when he ran this time, he claims that he's making millions of dollars a year. And all of a sudden he's loaning his campaign that money. Of course, these were questions that were not asked when he did these interviews, the interview he did before the New

York Post, the interview he did before WABC when he should have been asked those questions. Where did your money come from? Where did you get this money? Because his campaign also has ties to a Russian oligarch through the Russian oligarch's cousin, who was a major funder of Santos's political action committees or political action committees that funded Santos. So how did you come into millions of dollars a year that you can now lend your campaign $700,000 where you've now literally been exposed lying about where you went to college, what jobs you held.

You lied about your religion. You lied that your grandparents were Holocaust survivors. You lied that your mom was in the South Tower on 9-11. You lied that you owed real estate properties. You lied that your tenants weren't paying their rent when you were evicted twice. You lied that you have employees. You lied that your employees were in the Pulse nightclub shooting. You said four employees were in the Pulse nightclub shooting. You lied about a charity. There is no IRS tax-exempt organization that bears the name of the charity that you claim to work for. So we should be asking a very serious question. If you've lied about everything in

your life and all of a sudden a massive infusion of capital, All of a sudden, you become very wealthy out of nowhere in 2021. How did that happen? Let me play for you right now a clip from the interview that Santos did on WABC. And by the way, is that even George Santos's name? I mean, there's some indication that he had a warrant for his arrest in Brazil and that he fled Brazil after writing bad checks in Brazil. Apparently, his mother was a caretaker in Brazil and that he had been involved in taking these checks from one of the people his mom was taking care of and using it to buy sneakers for himself and other things for himself before leaving? Is he even a citizen of the United States right now? I mean, who is George Santos? Let me

play for you this clip of the interview he just did. Play the clip of the WABC interview. I'm not a criminal, not here, not abroad in any jurisdiction in the world have I ever committed any crimes. To get down to the nitty gritty, I'm not a fraud. I'm not a criminal who defrauded the entire country and made up this fictitional character and ran for Congress. I've been around a long time. I mean, a lot of people know me. They know who I am. They've done business dealings with me. I'm not going to make excuses mention as well in a lot of these articles that we're learning about, that the Republicans knew that he was lying about all of his background, and they thought it was funny.

What they said is that it should be for the voters to try to sort it out, and even though Republican leadership knew that Santos was lying about essentially everything, they weren't going to do anything to stop it because there's absolutely zero accountability within the MAGA Republican Party. In fact, they will likely try to put Santos on the Intelligence Committee. They will likely try to give Santos a leadership position where he will get access to some of our country's most sensitive records. And look,

this is the difference though between the political parties right now. Democrats have expelled people, including United States senators, for things that even just raise certain questions and things that people would never be expelled for in a million years if they are Republicans. At the end of the day, the Democratic Party is a political party that has standards and sometimes such exacting standards and such scrutinized standards that people are removed from the party that perhaps even shouldn't be removed from the party. On the other hand, you have someone who literally lies about every aspect of their life, including their religion, including heinous things like their grandparents were Holocaust survivors, employees were at the Pulse nightclub mass shooting, that their mother

was in the South Tower on 9-11 about their jobs, about every aspect of their life. And the Republicans don't blink an eye. The Republicans think that's funny. And then he's so emboldened, you have George Santos goes, it's just merely embellishing. Everybody does that. Everybody doesn't do this. If this was any other job in America, you would be fired immediately. Not only would you be fired immediately, you'd likely be sued immediately by your employer and rightfully so for committing fraud. Only as a Republican MAGA grifter is conduct like this applauded. And this is where this shouldn't be viewed as a left issue or a right issue or a Democrat issue or a Republican issue. Those lines, conservative, liberal,

those paradigms don't exist anymore because we have a pro-democracy, pro-normal coalition, and the only political party that exists that's acting like adults right now, a modicum of acting like adults right now, and more than a modicum, but acting like adults, is the Democratic Party. And look, I may disagree with Democratic policy on certain issues. I may disagree on certain ways you implement a policy, but Democrats are actually talking about issues that matter to the American people while Republicans are trying to block increases to the minimum wage, while Republicans are taking away the rights of people, telling Americans who they can and can't marry, taking away a woman's right to choose. Democrats are fighting for those freedoms,

fighting to protect the freedoms of a woman over her bodily autonomy, fighting for the freedom of you to marry who you love, fighting to increase wages, fighting to bring more jobs here into the United States of America, fighting for our infrastructure, fighting to decrease healthcare costs, to bring down the price of prescription drugs, to make education accessible and affordable for all Americans, to make sure that when our troops return, that our veterans are treated like the heroes that they are, that they get the best healthcare in the world. And we're not fist bumping like Republicans are fist bumping when they're taking away healthcare for exposure to toxic burn pits. I mean, look, Democrats are focused on those issues, and you have Republican hoisting up as

their leaders, hoisting up members who they're going to put on critical committees, people like DeSantos and people like, by the way, Jim Jordan, who would head the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives, someone who was involved in a massive cover-up of a sexual abuse scandal of a wrestling coach doctor in the University of Ohio for years and years and years, where multiple victims have come forward and said that Jim Jordan knew and did nothing to stop the sexual abuse, that he covered it up. That's who the Republicans put on the head of their judiciary committee, who is going to be the one responsible for enforcing law and order in the House of Representatives and conducting oversight there, lawless people like that.

Is this all a troll against the American people? Or is it something probably more obvious, Occam's razor? Sometimes the easiest explanation is probably the correct answer here. And the easiest explanation is, why are Republicans doing all of these things to try to harm the United States of America? Why are they out there praising Putin? Why are Republicans doing all of these things to try to harm the United States of America? Why are they out there praising Putin? Why are they out there condemning and criticizing Ukraine when Ukraine was invaded and Ukraine is fighting for freedom and democracy across the world? Why are they attacking NATO?

Why are they praising Kim Jong-un? Why are they doing these things? Why are they doing things to weaken our country? Why? And I think the answer is that's what they want to do. That's what they're trying to do. We could look for deeper explanations, but ultimately, who's funding these people? Who's funding these MAGA Republicans? Where are they truly taking direction from here when they support all of these policies seemingly to undermine our country, to undermine our democratic institutions? The easiest answer is probably the correct answer here.

As we see cowardly traders like George Santos go and basically make a mockery of our political system and basically call lying about all of these things, including some of the most heinous and despicable lies, mere embellishment. It should make you sick to your stomach no matter what political party you are. Set aside political parties. As a human being, George Santos should repulse you because what George Santos did should not exist anywhere. And if you're a Republican and you support George Santos, or if you support George Santos and believe that that mere embellishment is okay, I say shame on you, shame on you for trying to destroy our country and shame on you for having no standards and zero values.
