Starting point is 00:00:00 You did this, Maga Mike Johnson. This is your fault. This government shutdown is on your watch and Donald Trump's watch. You all wanted this to take place. Maga Mike Johnson is panicking. He's terrified right now. And he's giving away the whole game. He went on state regime media known as Fox last night.
Starting point is 00:00:16 And he was whining that if Republicans cannot keep the House of Representatives, then Donald Trump is going to get impeached. That's what he was saying. Donald Trump's going to get impeached here. Watch this. Speaker Johnson, you have a. very, very, very narrow majority. At scale of one to ten, how likely is it that the Republicans build on this very slim majority next year? We're going to win the midterms. Absolutely. We're
Starting point is 00:00:39 going to have a big victory, and I think we can expand that majority so we can keep going. We have to give President Trump four years and not two. Imagine if the Democrats took over the House, they'd impeach him. They're getting ready for the investigations. They're already ramping it up. So that's what Maga Mike's talking about is the government is now in a shutdown because of Donald Trump. They're worried about his impeachment. That's what you saw. He said on state regime media, known as Fox. Then he went on CNN, and I thought Caitlin Collins from CNN did a good job here. She was questioning Maga Mike about his and Donald Trump's lies that Democrats want to give trillions of dollars of American taxpayer money to support the health care of undocumented migrants
Starting point is 00:01:17 when that's clearly just unlawful to begin with. So it's not part of the plan of the Democrats. Yet that's the talking point that Trump and Johnson and all the magas keep on spewing. And Maga Mike Johnson's like, you're wrong. It's in there. It's absolutely in there. And Caitlin Collins, like, I've read the Democratic plan. It says nothing about giving any money to undocumented immigrants. What are you talking about? It's about simply protecting Americans affordable Care Act tax credits because they're about to expire. So premiums are about to double. That's what's about to happen. That's what Democrats are fighting for. It's just that simple. It's not about transgender operations in Peru or it's not. about health care to undocumented migrants. Not about those things, Maga Mike Johnson, but watch Maga Mike Johnson lie and watch his body language. Like, you know, he's weird facial expression. Very strange. Here, play this clip. We're rolling the greatest hits on our social media. Yeah, I'm just saying that the point about giving people who are here illegally health care is not exactly what is in their proposal. No, it is 100% what their proposal. Immigrants who have legal
Starting point is 00:02:23 status and you're just disagreeing on who's eligible. I looked at it actually because I was curious about your argument yesterday. You should study the CBO. analysis that they just put out a few weeks ago. Yeah, I saw that but the 1.2 million people, you're basically arguing about who has who has legal status, people who are seeking refugee or seeking asylum. No, I'm making sure that we are making sure in our provisions that we sign in a law, have ensured that health care benefits go only to eligible U.S. citizens. Chuck Chimbers' proposal. Federal law was not being enforced. That's the whole point. We had to fine-tune that so that we can strengthen the health care program. That's what we did. And then Caitlin Collins,
Starting point is 00:02:56 again, I think she did a good job here. Keeps pressing Mag and Mike Johns And she says, it's against federal law for people who are here illegally to get health care. So this is not about giving Medicare or Medicaid or Affordable Care Act tax credits to undocumented immigrants. Like, why do you keep on saying that? And then Mag and Mike Johnson's like, no, no, no, that's what the Democrats want. And she goes, it's not in their proposal. I don't know what you're talking about. And then she's like, well, Maga Mike's like, well, you just don't see it in the level of specification that we have.
Starting point is 00:03:27 this guy just lies with impunity. They're just a bunch of liars at every level. Here, play this clip. If that counterproposal was enacted, is illegal aliens would be paid for. American taxpayers, hard-earned dollars, would be paying for benefits for illegal aliens again. We're not doing that.
Starting point is 00:03:42 But it's against federal law for people who are here illegally to get help care. Yes, and that's why our reforms are so important to enforce all that. What the important thing to remember is what's happening tonight. I didn't see that the Democratic proposal that people who are here illegally should get health care. No, because they don't have the level of specification that we had in our bill.
Starting point is 00:03:56 It will unwise. that and all those things that the CBO just verified will be reversed. We can't afford to do that. But you see my point. That there's no one in the argument that you're making, right? No, that is a red herring in this debate. Caitlin Collins then points out that the last two government shutdowns, they came during President Trump's first term. The last shutdown, which was also the longest in modern American history, cost the U.S. economy $11 billion. Here, watch this. The last two government shutdowns that happened came during President Trump's first term in
Starting point is 00:04:27 office. The last shutdown, which was also the longest in modern American history, did cost the U.S. economy $11 billion. Now, one of the things we saw that former President Biden do when there were threats of a government shutdown is he brought the parties together, they had intelligent adult conversations, he acted responsibly, there were negotiations, and then the government remained funded because the process was one of constructive negotiations. Donald Trump is posting photographs like this with Trump 2028 hats of Maga Mike Johnson next to Chuck Schumer. Remember, Donald Trump did not allow the press into the meeting with the Democratic leaders. Trump allows the press in for everything so he can gloat with foreign leaders and sports teams,
Starting point is 00:05:16 but he was afraid to allow the press to be there when the Democratic leaders were in the Oval Office. Doesn't that tell you everything? And then Donald Trump, this is actual posts from Donald Trump's social media last night before the shutdown took place. Just look at him. Zoom in on his face there. It's a photo where he's pointing at Hakeem Jeffries. I mean, Donald Trump looks like a like a demented fifth grade bully. No offense to demented fifth grade bullies. It's very strange. Donald Trump continues to post photos of Hakeem Jeffries with a sombrero and with a mustache, I think mocking Mexicans and mocking undocumented migrants saying that that's where Democrats, saying that's where Democrats
Starting point is 00:05:57 want to give health care to, again, this behavior, it's like dealing with, like, again, no offense to babies. It's like just Donald Trump's behaving like a demented little baby. I don't even know how to describe it. It's just, these are very serious. These are serious times. I don't care what political party you're from watching this. Like, this is serious stuff and he's posting like photo. Like, what are you doing? What the hell? Like, what the hell are you doing? Like, this is a weird behavior. I have to tell you about this game changing product. used before a night with drinks. It's called a pre-alcohol. Zbiotics pre-alcohol probiotic drink is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic. It was invented by PhD scientists to tackle
Starting point is 00:06:38 rough mornings after drinking. Now here's how it works. When you drink, alcohol gets converted into a toxic byproduct in the gut. It's a buildup of this byproduct, not dehydration, that's to blame for rough days after drinking. Pre-alcohol produces an enzyme to break this byproduct down. Just remember to make pre-alcohol your first drink of the night. Drink responsibly and you'll feel your best tomorrow. Every time I have pre-alcohol before drinks, I notice a difference the next day. Even after a night out, I can confidently plan on having a great next day without worrying. So I first gave pre-alcohol a try when I was at a wedding over the summer. I drank it before my first cocktail and you wouldn't believe how on top of my game I felt the very
Starting point is 00:07:19 next morning. Now fall is right around the corner. So that means it's time to raise a glass to your favorite team, whether you're tailgating, enjoying a college game day, or watching Sunday's action on that fancy new TV, don't forget Zbiotics pre-alcohol probiotic drink. Drink a pre-alcohol before drinking and enjoy great days after celebrating all season long. Back to Maga Mike Johnson. Maga Mike Johnson says that
Starting point is 00:08:12 there are good things that can come out of the shutdown. And he says, like, if you eliminated wasteful programs that we otherwise would not get Democrats votes to do. That's a very good thing. And he goes, so there's good things with this. He goes, but we have to really, you know, be concerned that FEMA could have cuts and programs like FEMA that we care about can be cut. And then Caitlin Collins is like Donald Trump said he wants to eliminate FEMA. Like just that's what, how big of a liar Maga Mike is. He's like, we got to protect FEMA during hurricane season. You literally said to eliminate it. And then when she brings it up, Maga Mike's like, oh, Donald Trump said, to reform it to reform it and again look at the weird face maga mike makes like no donald trump
Starting point is 00:08:53 said eliminate fema we're all there we just stop the constant lying with these people that's my thing just stop the constant lying here play this clip today the president said that he thinks some good things could come from a government shutdown what are the good things that would come from a shutdown well the the administration has to make some very tough choices they have to determine at the office of management and budget what are essential services what are the programs that should be prioritized, you know, personnel decisions, policy decisions. They have just, Chuck Schumer has just given the White House unilateral authority to make those permanent decisions about programs that should survive and those that should be eliminated. So he's, he sort of walked into a partisan
Starting point is 00:09:30 political trap on that as well. The president framed it as a good thing that could come out of this. You're saying it's a tough choice. That's not how he described it today. There are good things that could come out of it. If you eliminate wasteful programs that we otherwise would not get Democrat votes to do, that's a very good thing for taxpayers. But the harm that comes is, from the people who need food assistance, medical assistance. FEMA won't be funded, by the way. We're in the middle of our hurricane season.
Starting point is 00:09:53 If your health insurance or your flood insurance is lapsed, no new policies, no renewals, none of that can happen during a shutdown. It's real danger for real people. This is not a game. Yeah, well, the president has previously talked about eliminating FEMA potentially before this shutdown happened.
Starting point is 00:10:07 But can I ask you in terms of- He wants to reform FEMA. More post by Donald Trump with Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero. Like, this guy thinks that that's funny. And that's just really weird behavior that he thinks that that's funny. And then just finally, let me show you this clip right here. This is Donald Trump from earlier in the day where a reporter from the AP, you know, says to him,
Starting point is 00:10:29 hey, you know, there's nothing in the Democratic policy that allows for this money to fund undocumented migrants. That's not in there. Like, what's your response to it? Remember, and Donald Trump just gives a bunch of word salad because they lie about everything. Donald Trump's like, my heart is bigger than your heart. So, you know, these undocumented workers, they're illegal, and they come in from other countries. That's not the question, Donald. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:58 The question that's being asked is that none of the funding for Affordable Care Act tax credits goes to undocumented migrants. So why do you all keep on blaming migrants and transgender people when that has nothing to do with the discussion? Like, why can't you just, we could have serious conversations. about Affordable Care Act tax credits. Like, don't you think we can have it? Like, the question or legitimate question can be, is there a certain income threshold where there shouldn't be Affordable Care Act tax credits?
Starting point is 00:11:26 If you're making over, say, $250,000, should there be affordable Care Act tax credits for someone who makes more than 250? And that's a reasonable conversation to have. But we're not having serious kind. Donald Trump's posting photos of the Democratic leader, Jeffrey, is wearing a sombrero and having, like a mustache with like mariachi bands like so what like what the hell's going on here play this clip president
Starting point is 00:11:52 undocumented immigrants we actually do have time for that they're not eligible for the health care subsidies that democrats are demanding so can you clarify what are you talking about when you say democrats want to protect their health care so when an illegal person comes in a person who came into our country illegally therefore breaking the law and look we all have big hearts i have a bigger heart than you do. They're all breaking the law and they're coming into our country. And we just as a country cannot afford to take care of millions of people who have broken the law coming in. We want them to come into our country, but we want them to come in legally. Now we have a strong border, very strong border thanks to Christy and Tom Holman and the whole group. They've done an amazing job
Starting point is 00:12:35 with the border. I mean, we had a border that was reckless. We had a border that was a disaster. They were coming in by the millions. I say 25 million people. You're saying less. But I say, 25 million people came in illegally, and no system can take care of the health care of all of those people. So there you have it, folks. We'll keep you posted every step of the way. You see Mag and Mike there panicking. I think good work, Caitlin Collins there with that questioning. And here at the Midas Touch Network, we're going to keep you posted every step of the way. You know, the White House is going to spread their disinformation. They're going to post Democratic shutdown on their website. They're going to use government resources to do that. I think the American people get it. I just think the American
Starting point is 00:13:13 people also see that Donald Trump's behavior is that of like a little baby. And so Donald Trump told Republicans don't deal with Democrats, don't have any conversations. Then they said literally, go F yourself. And they wouldn't allow cameras into the Oval Office. And then you're doing the whole talking about transgender people and blaming migrants when that's not in. And then you're posting sombrero photos. It's like, dude, you're not serious. These are not serious people, these Republicans. And I think Americans want to want seriousness right now because Americans are suffering. Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and being psychologically torched. We want to have serious discussions.
Starting point is 00:13:52 We know what we're going through. Donald Trump may be talking about 90,000 square foot ballrooms and club Rose Garden and UFC fights at the White House. And he may be getting billions of dollars from the Saudis and Kushner doing a $50 billion deal with EA electronic arts and Donald Trump bailing out. How does friend, Javier Malay in Argentina, who then undercuts American farmers by selling Argentinian soybeans to China, screwing our farmers? Like, Americans feel the pain right now. And I know Donald Trump doesn't feel it. You know, it can't even connect to it, yet alone.
