The MeidasTouch Podcast - MeidasTouch Full Podcast - 10/23/26

Episode Date: October 23, 2026

On this episode of the MeidasTouch Podcast, Ben, Brett, and Jordy break down Trump's latest remarks about the Iran war as oil prices surge, attacks on tankers continue, and questions grow about the sa...fety of American troops in the Middle East. The brothers reveal explosive new MeidasTouch investigative reporting featuring never-before-seen footage of Iranian missile strikes on U.S. military bases, devastating damage, and firsthand accounts from service members and families who say they were abandoned by their own government. They also discuss Trump's efforts to avoid a videotaped deposition in his $10 billion lawsuit against the BBC and new questions surrounding Elon Musk's restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink access. Plus, they examine Trump's increasingly bizarre public appearances and his defense of a controversial campaign ad targeting Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton. And the brothers celebrate the release of their new book, WTF America?!: The Way Out of This Hell and Back to Democracy, available now wherever books are sold! So let's just get right into it after a bizarre and deranged trip yesterday in South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Donald Trump is in Iowa today, where I'm sure he'll be talking about men's asses. He'll be making a bunch of weird noises. He'll be saying how great the catastrophic war in Iran is. He'll say affordability is a hoax. He'll tell weird stories about Melania asking him, what's wrong with you? And he said, I'm just pretending to be Biden. And that's the situation. We'll try to talk about all of this tie it together.
Starting point is 00:01:03 The real thing is the American people are struggling right now. Diesel and gas are at record highs. People can't afford groceries. People are really struggling. Donald Trump is a destroyer. And then once he rips to shred institutions and deals and all of these things, he doesn't replace it with anything. There's just anarchy.
Starting point is 00:01:22 And then what does he do? Blame, blame, blame, blame, blame. That's been his whole life of bankruptcy. The American people see it. It's why as we approach the midterms, which is literally right around the corner, Donald Trump's approval at historic lows for any president since the invention of polling. And same thing for MAGA Republicans. And they can try to say things are great and amazing in golden age.
Starting point is 00:01:46 That ain't true. The American people are absolutely furious. We'll get into all of it. Brett and Jordy, good to see you. Midas Mighty, great to see you. The book is out. WTF America. Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Thank you all for buying the book and the e-book. If you're considering buying this book, now is the time to do it because all of those first week lists, they really end in the next 24 hours. So if you are going to buy them or get them as gifts for people for the holidays or whatever, order them now, we're so grateful for all of your support. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Starting point is 00:02:58 that have been coming in and people saying how much they love it. And to me, like, that is the biggest reward ever, that people are finding value in this, that people like the writing, that people find that it's an important piece of kind of history and something that could help guide us out of this mess and something that appropriately documents how we got here. All the craziness that we're in right now, it just really means so much. So thank you to everybody who's ordered. Thank you for all the kind comments, everybody who's been leaving reviews on all the various services like seriously i've been like near tears uh in a good way looking at all your reviews and all your comments and it's it's just you you guys are the best i really appreciate it but we
Starting point is 00:03:37 got the news to talk about so i'm going to toss it over to jordy jordy what's the latest well real quick sorry i have to just kind of rehash exactly what brett and bet said the latest stuff i it's just so grateful for this community thank y'all so much obviously like we're always in the chat's talking with y'all we're always talking on all these other platforms and it's just it's so incredible to see this community i'm going to choke up it's crazy it's always so incredible to see this community just from all places on earth come together like in moments like these like you know we put out the call for y'all to show up like we really needed your help with this one and you guys showed up in such a massive way and we knew you would you know it's so much far
Starting point is 00:04:11 beyond you know ben bread and jordy like the book is just representative of this collective community of people who truly freaking care about democracy and about what the united states should be doing in this crazy time and so just first off just like thank you guys so much. I could go on for another 10, 20 minutes just thanking all, but please just know, like, these past couple of days have just been such, it's been an emotional roller coaster in a positive way, just seeing this community rally. So thank you guys, truly from the bottom of our hearts. Benji, where do you want to start off today, Big Bro? Let's get into it as Donald Trump was heading off to Iowa. He said, many great patriots really love the war in Iran.
Starting point is 00:04:51 It's a love fest with the war, he says. Here, play this clip. weapon. I mean, in one way, people probably don't love it, but many people, many great patriots really love it. We should have been done a long time ago by other presidents. Many great patriots love it. You're talking about war. You're talking about life and death, war and peace. And I guess for Trump and his regime and corporate media, this is all one big game for them. But war is hell. It truly is. Hell is breaking loose. That is war. People die. Children slaughter. dead. And the way he talks about it, he's so detached from the reality and he wants to bend reality so that we all live in this deranged world that he inhabits. And it's really important
Starting point is 00:05:39 for us to just say, no, no, this is a deranged lunatic. Then he goes on and he's asked a question about how Ukraine President Zelensky says that, look, Putin keeps on striking overnight and doesn't this show you that while Zelensky said he wants an energy ceasefire, he's ready to do a ceasefire tomorrow, and Putin then responds like this, doesn't that show you that it's actually Putin who doesn't want the ceasefire and doesn't want peace? Watch Donald Trump's response. Let's play. Mr. President, President Zelensky said these new Russian strikes overnight are
Starting point is 00:06:15 proof that nothing's changed with Putin, that he doesn't want peace. How do you see it? Well, we'll see how it works out. That's been happening a lot. Well, we'll see how that works out. It will be happy. It happens a lot. It's happening a lot. Okay, what kind of statement is that? I know people, you know, in the corporate news, like, well, he makes himself available. Well, available for what? Available for that. What the hell is that? And I think it's important that we pointed out to show again how utterly unfit this person is for that position.
Starting point is 00:06:43 We'll see how it all works out. This is the person who promised in 2024 that he would bring peace to Ukraine in 24 hours with his magic words that he would use to Zelensky, that he would use to Putin, and he would resolve everything. Also, your electricity bill was supposed to be half the amount it was when Donald Trump took office. And obviously, now it's probably 50% more or even higher than that, maybe double, maybe triple for some people. It's significantly more. Gas was supposed to be $2 a gallon. Right now, we see record highs. I mean, right before we went live today, I looked at the price per barrel of oil. It was like $113 approaching $114.14 a barrel. It was up four and a half, five percent today. As I've always been saying, that's going to head to 120, 125, 130. It's
Starting point is 00:07:33 important to note, though, when people like, well, it's not 150. It actually is because when you hear about the price per barrel of oil, you're still hearing about a futures contract. That price is a price two to three months out that's being bought now to hedge. The actual price, the spot price, or the dated price right now is 150, is 160. And usually the dated price and the futures price or the price of a barrel per oil versus the refined price, usually these prices are not so dramatically significant. The delta isn't usually that huge, but it is as well right now. That's called the crack spread, which also shows you as well what actually people are paying at the pump is even as significantly higher than what the price per barrel is, but the price per barrel is still very high.
Starting point is 00:08:26 It has to be refined. And so, you know, this is what Donald Trump is out there saying. He's blaming Zelenskyy. He's blaming everybody for his own behavior right here. Trump has asked about Starlink and Star Shield being throttled and being shut off. There was reporting in the Wall Street journal that really it was Elon Musk who just said on his own off. I don't I want it off. But obviously, I mean, I think we all recognize that Donald Trump would be complicit with that. And then you had like J.D. Van saying, nope, it was a corporate decision. We we can't intervene on corporate decisions. That's just what corporate does. We're the government. Okay. We don't have any say over what Elon Musk does with Starlink or Star Shield throttling Zelensky's
Starting point is 00:09:08 Trump famously never tells any companies what to do or corporations. We have no, we have no power. So first, let me show you what Trump says. Then I'll show you what J.D. Vann says. Here's what Trump said. Let's play. Elon Musk from Jack Darling for Ukraine. Well, I don't want to say, but I know it was a very interesting situation. So I don't want to comment one way or the other.
Starting point is 00:09:29 But my relationship with Elon is a very good one. Go ahead. Yeah, I don't want to comment on it. You know, whether I called or whether somebody else called, It doesn't make any difference. I guess the bottom line, he put it back. It does make a difference because we need to hold the murderer accountable. Whoever turned it off directly caused the deaths of multiple Ukrainian civilians,
Starting point is 00:09:54 including children, including Pete Mothers. I mean, I've seen these horrific photos of the children who were slaughtered. It is. It is of consequence. Things matter. Who did things matter? Who says what? Who gives the order?
Starting point is 00:10:08 These things matter. This is reality. These things are the. most important things. Who gave it, whether it was I or him, okay, well, if it was you or it was him and if it was both of you, which it seems to be part of the criminal enterprise that we're used to seeing with Donald Trump and this regime, that's important because especially when Democrats take control of the House and likely the Senate right now, who are we going to hold accountable as a country, as a collective we, regardless of political party, is an important
Starting point is 00:10:36 point. And just let me show you what J.D. Van said, that this was corporate. Like, you know, like, did you notice the various iterative? of the story. I don't know how it happened. It was a technical glitch. It was the weather. Oh, it was corporate. It was corporate that did it. I'm not going to say it's just a bunch of blame and a bunch of loser behavior. Watch what J.D. Van says. Well, I think that fundamentally, Elon Musk runs a private corporation. And I think it's completely understandable that he doesn't want to get in the middle of what is a war between two state actors without the United States government effectively directing him on what to do. So I don't think this is about Elon.
Starting point is 00:11:13 I think it's fundamentally, what is America's policy in Ukraine or Russia going to be? As I just said earlier, I think we're working on some renewed negotiations. It is about Elon, okay, number one, and it is about you and it is about Trump. But what you're asking the question, what is America's policy going to be? That's for you. What is America's policy? What is the policy? Tell us, articulate it, have a strategy.
Starting point is 00:11:37 What is America's policy going to be with these straight-I-form moves? Is it Trump truthing on truth social? Is it him making a post? Did you see what it said on truth social today? It was like Donald Trump blasts Iran on truth social. Okay, that's the strategy. What is this? This is real, folks.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Truth social had a breaking news breaking. Trump slams Iran in new truth as we run on the Midas touch account. Not sure how Iran is going to recover from this. That's the plan. Just lie about the oil coming out of these trade of removes every day. And while the price per barrel of oil continues to search, what is the plan with Ukraine? It was to lie about it. It was to say that you had a strategy and you didn't.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Your strategy was to tell Zelensky to surrender. Zelensky didn't surrender and now you have no plan. So that's where we're at right now. And now you're asking these questions. What is this threat? What is the meaning? You are the leaders. That's for you to decide.
Starting point is 00:12:29 And there's zero accountability, zero responsibility. It's weakness. It's a loser behavior. Our adversaries and friends, there's no friends anymore, our former allies. They all see this for what it is. It's pathetic. Brett, Jordy. Two things. First, I just like, I think everything that you have to understand about
Starting point is 00:12:47 this regime and kind of this moment in time, this entire Trump era, it's something that we say often on the show, but it's worth repeating when we see comments like that from J.D. Vance and Donald Trump and what Elon Musk's doing, so much of what we are dealing with and so much of what we speak about here on the Midas Touch network has nothing to do with Democrat, Republican, left, first right, and all that stuff. It's really a matter of good versus evil. It's a matter of decent versus cruel. It's a matter of honest versus corrupt. And when we watch the things that this Trump regime does, you know what side they fall on. When you watch Donald Trump get out there and say, oh, I think that ad that Vivehra Maswami did, where he decided to elevate the estranged mother of Amy Acton,
Starting point is 00:13:35 who stayed married to her daughter's rapist and the guy who abused all of her children, I think that is a great ad, brilliant ad, Vivek, great job, that's great. He should definitely run that again. Like, that's, it's not a political calculation for me to say that that's disgusting. And there shouldn't be a single Republican. I don't care what the hell your political affiliation is. Who doesn't look at that behavior and go, wait a sec? What did I get myself mixed up?
Starting point is 00:14:02 And this is some sick stuff. This is a real sicko. This is a real sick individual, a bad person, and people who are supporting this behavior. are all really bad people. What Donald Trump is doing right now and what Elon Musk is doing, what Vance is doing, their actions toward Ukraine
Starting point is 00:14:19 are frankly far worse than the actions that Donald Trump got impeached for in 2019 by extorting Ukraine. This is like a whole other level. That makes this makes that look like nothing. And Donald Trump is doing this basically out in the open.
Starting point is 00:14:34 And so I hope that we see some accountability and investigations and get these people really on the record when Democrats come into power, grill these people, impede, whatever you got to do, because this right here is murderous behavior. This is behavior that is leading to the deaths of Ukrainians, the deaths of many people in the Middle East. These people don't give a damn about human life, and they're showing it every day. That's why we never should have given, and this isn't even a Trump criticism. This is a every president criticism. We should have never
Starting point is 00:15:09 given Elon Musk the power that he has. That criticism also goes to a lot of these world leaders across the world. We should have never given this guy so much power. Why put all of our eggs in the Elon Musk basket? And now that we know that this guy could flick off a kill switch and literally kill people by doing that, are you still, our foreign government still going to keep trusting Elon Musk with their security, with their defenses, with their missiles? To me, that is a big, big, big mistake. And I, all of Europe, anybody who relies on Elon Musk should be looking right now and say, how do we get the hell away from the sky as quickly as possible? And the next Democratic president that comes in should also, one of the big things should be, we need to detach from this guy.
Starting point is 00:15:52 He's a monster. We should not allow this guy to have so much power in our government. Really well said to me. For me, it comes down to this. When you look at J.D. Vance up there, when you look at Donald Trump, I have to comment on this quick. He looks crazy. Like when he's giving these one-offs now to the press, it looks like he's doing blackface. Like, there's no other way for me to describe it. Like, the bronzer is so ridiculous. He can't even open his eyes. If you're watching that clip, and I was watching pretty closely, I'm like trying to find
Starting point is 00:16:22 where his eyes are and where the bags start, he doesn't look well. And I'm not like saying that to be like, no, Donald Trump doesn't look. He doesn't look well. And that should concern everybody. Concern every American. I don't care what political party you are. should concern everyone across the world that the leader of this country, and I use leader very loosely here, but he is, and it has all this power, the nuclear football, looks like that and is behaving like
Starting point is 00:16:48 that. And then you have J.D. Vance talking about how, well, we're just going to have to figure out with the policy. It's JD, to Ben's point. You're the guy that's supposed to have figured it out. And I think I know where you're falling on this, and it feels very pro-Russia to me in a very disastrous and concerning way. But for me, ultimately, like, again, we really don't view ourselves as political. Like, when we started this that we talk about in WTF America, the Brett just brought up a photo of Trump, it is so beyond the pale. If I were to describe this and I'm going to for the audio listeners, you're going to think I'm making this up. Please go to the Midasutut, YouTube, and literally look at this to the timestamp. You have Donald Trump out here, like, leaning forward, his eyes are
Starting point is 00:17:30 closed or they're opened. I really can't tell. And the the amount of bronzer he has on his face, it is so utterly bizarre and just concerning. And you look at that person and you're like, that's the president of the United States. That's who y'all elected to speak for you, to act for you? Uh-uh. Uh-uh. There's going to have to be really like a massive overall here when we go forward as to who we are putting in positions of power in this country to lead us out of this stuff. and to just lead us with a clear vision forward. Because right now, it just seems like Donald Trump is leading by truth social posts.
Starting point is 00:18:11 True social post after true social post. And then they try to get J.D. Vance to comment. He's going to have to figure that out. J.D., you are supposed to be the someone. Unbelievable to me, just the lack of leadership that comes from the White House. Yeah, it's like going to a surgeon, and then there's open heart surgery, and then you look at the dissection and what you're supposed to do in your life. like, nurse, anybody want to figure this one out?
Starting point is 00:18:37 It's like, no, this is you. It's you. You're supposed to competently know what you're supposed to. Jordy, speaking of what Trump looked like there, a potato head and not Mr. Potato Head because I don't want to defame Mr. Potato Head. Wouldn't want to do that on the show. Big, big friend of the show, Mr. Potato. Big friend of the show, Mr. Potato.
Starting point is 00:18:55 But if I did defame Mr. Potato Head and he sued me, he would not do what Trump did with the BBC, which is hide from a deposition. Again, how cowardly is that too, though? I mean, let's talk about that with the weird transition I just did from Mr. Potatohead to this in deposition in BBC. But Trump terrified of BBC. Trump sues BBC $10 billion and says they defamed him by running a documentary that was edited in a way that Trump didn't like and said, well, this makes it seem like I was involved
Starting point is 00:19:23 in the insurrection, okay? He said, I'm defamed $10 billion. And then BBC fights back and they notice his deposition. And they ask for documents that shows proof of. of $10 billion of damages. Trump won't turn over the documents. And then he refuses to show up at his deposition. And then he says, I'm dealing with Iran
Starting point is 00:19:41 and national security issues, except during the day of his deposition, October 16th. He was in Dalton Municipal Airport giving a speech in Georgia, one of those deranged small speeches that he gives. And then he went to a pack event at Mar-a-Lago that night. And so BBC calls him out and says to the judge, order him to show up. Trump goes, I want my deposition to be late January
Starting point is 00:20:02 and no video deposition. I don't want it to be on video. And BBC is like, well, then don't sue me. Dismiss your case. Yeah, and they're like, wait, you're the ones who sued us. Like, that's what they said. Like, remember, he sued us. This is an our thing, and now he's trying to avoid the process.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Yeah, this has always been your strategy that you've spoken about outwardly. Like, accept the lawsuit. When Trump sues you, great, depose his ass. Depose them, get them under oath, get us deposition, do it. And every, every single time, He cowers. Well, you know, the judge is forcing Trump to open up for BBC.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Yeah, probably. Yes. Trump wants it for BBC. There's a lot of, yeah, there's a lot of Trump. And anyway, all right, right, right there. But, but yes, Jordy, what you do is you notice his deposition right away. And then you see how scared he is. But it's just like straight of Hormuz, right?
Starting point is 00:20:50 It's just like catastrophic wars. He comes up with the name, Epic Fury, the lawsuits, $10 billion lawsuit. Okay. The other side fights back and then he runs away. And it's a pattern. It's a pathology. It's a, it is a,
Starting point is 00:21:03 weakness he bullies but when you punch him back he runs away it's like right out of the like examples that you give like when you punch back the bully it's the perfect example it's yeah it's just it's clear BBC's just giving the smack down to trump right now like there's no other way to put it's getting whacked by a b by the bbc hundreds let's take our last let's think okay let's take our first break of the show reminder uh w tf america is the book um because seriously if you can get the hard cover or the ebook if you love it and you're able to to get it for gifts for people. Like, now's the time. Go get it. It's game time. It's game time. This is like, we've got one more day where it's like, I mean, we always want you to buy the book,
Starting point is 00:21:43 but if you were going to wait, please do the order now because tomorrow's the next 24 hours is the last day. You know what I love? All the people supporting their independent bookstores, too, I think is super cool. And that's why I love, you know, you get it everywhere. Obviously, you know all the sites. But bookshop.org is super cool also because they support independent bookstores. And if you have an independent bookstore in your neighborhood, you could call them up and, you know, they could get it free to. Super, super cool. Let's support those shops. Okay, we're going to be right back.
Starting point is 00:22:09 We've got a lot to talk about, including our exclusive bombshell reporting from Aaron Parnas, Ken Harbaugh, Valor Media, and so many other people, an expose and true investigative report on the truth about the conditions at our military bases and how the United States government has abandoned our troops and their troops and their. families. We've got some exclusive footage at some of the attacks never before seen on our bases. The United States government, the Trump regime, has tried to hide all this. Well, we have it and we are not holding back. We will not cower to the Trump regime. We're going to show you some of that right when we get back. So don't you go anywhere? We'll see you in a second. Shout out to our sponsors. links in the description both the YouTube and the audio use the links use the codes if there's an exit survey let them know we sent you phenomenal products both of them there are some sponsors that we've had now that have been on the network for so long that i could like sleep and do the reads because i just know the products so well and uh well tushy's one of them if you see my face right now
Starting point is 00:26:40 that's one of my favorite ones to read for benjy right to next big bro do you say spicy number two i did say spicy number two that was a new line that was the new line that they threw in I've never heard of a number two referred to a spicy. We don't have to get into it, but I imagine, you know, it's not. I mean, you see, you saw Trump's speech though, right? Is that a spicy number? Brett, do we have that clip? Boom.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Boom. Or did he did a total spicy number two. Or, or when he did. What was that? Or when he did. I want to be clear. Wait, play that again. This is a.
Starting point is 00:27:23 No. No, guess we have to watch the next one because the next one is more. Donald Trump's talking about Nikki Haley. He's still obsessed with her. And he's like, so I talk to the governor. Oh, so Ron, here, play this clip. And I'd say 90% of the reason I took the governor. I took the governor.
Starting point is 00:27:47 I put her over at the United Nations. Or then, well, I got to be more. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Then Trump said it told it again. Play that one. We got to play this one again. What was that? Look at the guy's face for the audio listeners.
Starting point is 00:28:01 There's a guy, there's a Trump supporter behind him who went Trump to look at his face. I was waking up. I literally woke up in the middle of the night last night and looked at my phone because this clip on our TikTok got like 12 million views or something crazy. It looks like a toad. And I watched it again in the middle of the night, which is such a mistake. I'll give you the explanation of what it is though. I know I have the answer.
Starting point is 00:28:27 All right. I'd say 90% of the reason I took the governor. I took the governor. I put her over at the United Nations. It's a rough one. It's a rough one. Okay. So when people, I'm going to give you the general issue of dementia
Starting point is 00:28:46 and rapidly accelerating dementia. There's a number of things that appear to be that. But it's opinion-based, you know. The homosexual. The TikTok search, like the TikTok will tell you, like what people search for to find videos like this. or what it suggests. The TikTok search suggestion is dementia random noise.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Yeah. Yeah, but that's actually an attribute where you came. He was surprised that it happened as he's struggling with the rapidly cognitive decline that's happening. And so it even surprised him, but you lose control. So what that was, it was like a vocal disconfiguration. And that'll actually start to happen more and more and more. We're going to see a lot more of that happen in a lot of these events taking place.
Starting point is 00:29:36 And then the homosexual disinhibition is actually a thing. You know, whether it was repressed homosexuality that's always existed or whether it is a new homosexual urge that he has. But whether it was existing before or now, when he sees men, these are the thoughts that are in his mind when he looks at men. and now he literally can't control them. And so he blurts him out, you know, your ass, your ass, your ass, your ass. And it is a version of how does he treat female reporters. He's always a nasty guy. He hates women.
Starting point is 00:30:14 And to me, his sexualization of women and other was all about power and domination. I always thought, you know, he's a sex predator versus actually like the thing, the way he actually talks about women in the past is not how straight men who love women or like women actually talk about women or the full like it just it just isn't so there's a whole there's a whole thing that but like let's be clear he is a sex predator he's been found civilly liable for sexual assault he brags about sexually assaulting women he says you're rich you get away with it he bragged about inspecting girls naked at beauty pageants he said when you're when you run beauty pageants this is what you get to do i mean he's a sicko um he says this is locker room talk
Starting point is 00:30:57 This is how men speak in locker. This is how men speak in a locker. I represent a lot of athletes, professional athletes in my path. Then how leaders and men and captains of football, they don't talk like. This is not how people talk. And it's important that we call out this behavior.
Starting point is 00:31:10 But there is homosexual disinhibition with women. He goes, picky, piggy. These are the thoughts in his mind. Piggily. Lately also, he's had a lot more outbursts, even the normal, I'd say. Like if you saw him in the Oval Office, that clip we played it.
Starting point is 00:31:25 I think you guys played it on the last show. Trump was like, quiet, quiet. It was like one of the craziest. I'm like, this guy looks like a freaking demon. Like this is unbelievable. And again, it will continue. It's going to get worse. Yeah, and he was doing this a lot.
Starting point is 00:31:40 He's been doing this like every press conference now. It's just like, just bizarre outbursts. And you know, we have people, you know, we have AISN and other folks on the team who they clip shows and clip Donald Trump's speeches and they put them out all day, right? And so they're able to really, noticed the nuances also of like if Donald Trump is declining, if he's gaffing more than usual, you know, if there's weird things going on. And one of the things that we all noticed was how, and that, you know, Aeson and our team noticed, especially in these last few speeches, was like,
Starting point is 00:32:14 wow, there's something really going on with Donald Trump because there's, he's making a lot more mistakes. He's getting confused. What's the Atlantic Ocean? What's the Pacific Ocean? What's the name of the Peace Prize? Is it the Pulitzer? Is it the Nobel? I have no idea. what this is, what that is, blurting out those random noises. And it's another level from what we've seen. And sorry for laughing before. I was just reading the comments on the Instagram. And every one of the comments is funnier than the next,
Starting point is 00:32:41 but I won't worry with that right now. Yeah, and he tries to preempt it by turning it into a joke and making everybody kind of laugh with it, right? Because he knows that he can't control his homosexual impulses, right? He can't control it and the disinhibition. He can't. So he turns it into a joke to blurt it out. So when he says it, he goes, oh, it's just a joke.
Starting point is 00:33:06 It's the same thing, you know, when he talks about the cognitive exams and the different things, he's also trying to, like, why is he devoting so much time to this in the speech? I mean, one, because he actually is, in my opinion, I mean, rapidly declining. But he's also so self-conscious about it that he's trying to. to get ahead of all. And he tells the story about how he walks into walls, and he doesn't remember the words he's saying, he can't complete sentences, and how awful he looks. And so he says, you know, I go home to Melania.
Starting point is 00:33:39 He's making up the story. He doesn't go home to Melania. They don't live in the same room. They're not in the same area. But he goes, I go, hey, baby, hey, baby, baby. Was I the greatest last night, baby? Did you love what I did, baby? Hey, baby, you like this baby?
Starting point is 00:33:51 And then Melania tells me, are you okay? What's wrong with you? And I go, no, baby, baby, I was just pretending I was Biden. That's what I was doing. Baby, I was just pretending. So that was me not actually walking into walls and not being able to get down steps or talk. Baby, I was being Biden is what he said here. I'll show you this example.
Starting point is 00:34:12 And then I came back and I finished my speech. And I said, baby, how good was that tonight? Was that the best? Nobody can do it like me, baby. You see that crowd? And she said, what happened to you? Are you okay? And I said, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:34:32 They had you walking around the stage hitting, are you okay, darling? So they took my little routine and they said that that was me doing it. I said, that's the end of sarcasm. Okay, I'll toss it to you, Brett and Jordan, then we'll get into our exclusive reporting. But it is just severely, like I don't want to use
Starting point is 00:34:53 the severe illness as a way to not hold him accountable. So I'm not, sometimes I fear that when you say it, it sends the message that he's going to claim mental impairment when accountability smacks him in the face, right? And he probably will try to do that because that's part of his victimhood. So I don't want to give the out.
Starting point is 00:35:17 I need to acknowledge that. But I also want to acknowledge we're dealing with what was a mass psychosis, but the hypnosis of the mass psychosis is fading now. These are smaller crowds. There's still a bunch of people there, though, who are laughing in a way that you should never do, but if you had a severely ill uncle, for example,
Starting point is 00:35:40 and you enabled it versus actually getting the help and calling it out, you then take on those traits and attributes. It's a whole body of work that social and clinical psychiatrists talk about. Dr. Bandy Lee does a great job explaining it on the Midas Touch Network on the weekend show and other shows Anthony Davis. She's on a lot. But the behavior rubs off and you see those people behind them. We're looking at a really sick, like a really sick person who has the nuclear codes, who's making decisions over life and death, war and peace, who frankly isn't, to say isn't
Starting point is 00:36:20 fit is really doing a disservice to isn't. and fit because it's in such a strata of unfitness that what really should be happening in a normal, healthy country is that there would be an involuntary hold, psychiatric hold placed on such a severely disturbed individual. I mean, it's really, it's not, and there's no both sides. It's not Biden. It's nothing even at a level. It isn't.
Starting point is 00:36:51 It truly isn't. All right. Some of the comments we received on that video. My grandpa did this at the end of his life before he died. He had dementia. He made weird noises all the time. Daisy wrote that to us. Someone wrote that was a kidney giving up. Somebody said, and they degraded Biden for one tenth of what he's showing. Somebody joked about the supporters saying, are they all going to start making that noise now? Somebody said, I'm high. You can't do this to me. someone said I'm crying real tears over this video in the comments. Somebody said the alien powering him was trying to escape.
Starting point is 00:37:29 The search being a dementia random noise is sending me. Someone said, y'all don't understand I'm having a laughing fit. I can't effing stop laughing. Every time I hear it, I laugh harder. It's on replay. I can't stop. Somebody says, oh, it's getting close. Okay, I'll allow him.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Okay, seeing Trump at these rallies or whatever and just in just the way he is physically and mentally, I can only sort of describe it. I obviously wasn't alive during this time period and no shade, you know, to Elvis. But like I just feel like when Trump is is giving these speeches, this is like Elvis in Vegas during the residency in the last couple of weeks there. Because what we're seeing is just someone who, even his. own die-hard people who go out to see them and support them. And Brett, you had a perfect view of the people they put behind him
Starting point is 00:38:25 and the faces that they were making when he was giving this speech. They're confused. They don't know what to make of it. And when he's losing his die-hard grip on the MAGA cult, that is his core, core base, and we see his MAGA core approval ratings are shit now. Like, they're not good. And it has a lot to do, in my opinion,
Starting point is 00:38:46 opinion with this, his behavior that's been so on display, his erratic behavior, his snapping at reporters, specifically female reporters and the way he talks and demeans female reporters. And then when he's going on these tours, his Vegas residency, if you will, his obvious and clear mental and physical decline that he doesn't even have control over his body at this point of what we're seeing. This is disgraceful. Like the fact that more people in the Republican Party itself aren't speaking up against this. It's so obvious and it's so in front of your face.
Starting point is 00:39:23 And the fact that they just bury their heads in the sand and pretend that he is a beacon of good health, that that is the person that what a leader, Donald, what a leader. No, I have great concerns. And it's not because, oh, George, you're so lived out, bro. No, that's the president of the United States. And it's concerning to me that he can't get through a sentence without hyper, for ventilating? I don't even know how to describe that action because he physically and mentally can't. He doesn't have the capacity. Yet, he is making very consequential decisions that are getting our troops
Starting point is 00:39:57 killed. They're raising prices here at the pumps because of his needless war in Iran that he just haphazardly just decided to start with no end in sight. And our troops are dying because that man that we all saw on that stage who can't control his own impulses is at the hellas. them that should strike fear in everyone and not in like a good way like not like a good feeling like that's the scary thing that that's the guy with the nuclear football well and it could get way worse this could be you know how the trump regime says you know there was the banquet and the appetizer and then there was going to be an incredible prosperity just do weight right actually what we could be in for and what we appear to be in for unless there's intervention
Starting point is 00:40:45 imminently is this is just the appetizer. You know, you have Netanyahu recognizing how severely ill, it seems, Trump is. Netanyahu also is severely ill, sick, genocidal maniac talking about regime change, finish the job. He and Donald Trump, like these genocidal Furbys, are out there, you know, reinforcing themselves and living in an imaginary world where regime change in Iran is as simple as drop. dropping a Moab, a mother of Obama, and pickax mountain and doing more aerial strikes and that that's gonna make a difference
Starting point is 00:41:22 without the collateral consequences where we just saw a small taste of what that could be while the Trump regime still covers up what is happening to our bases in the Middle East, how utterly destroyed they are, how defenseless they are right now. And if there is a catastrophic escalation of this war in Iran, we will see trillions of dollars of infrastructure in the Middle East, destroyed very rapidly by Iran and the IRGC, which has its
Starting point is 00:41:50 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and heightened better drones, better drone technology. And if, you know, we should never be involved in this catastrophic war in the first place, if you're talking about regime change in Iran, which won't happen, you have to commit troops and ground troops, not just a few. You have to do a draft, and you'd have to get literally like hundreds of thousands to millions of soldiers would have to be sent to war in Iran based on how big it is, the terrain, the amount of IRGC. If that's really what your goal was, that's what you'd have to do. And you would still lose.
Starting point is 00:42:32 And even if you temporarily did it, there would be a version of it that likely would come back. That's what we've seen in a history of a regime change generally in the region. But it won't achieve its objectives. But when you say these words, we're going to finish the job, we're going to beat the shit out of him, all this stuff, which for Trump and, you know, is words, it's meaningless mush out of the deranged ranting and ravings of a lunatic. That means life and death. That means body parts falling off, mass death, great global economic depression. That's what that means that when he so cavalierly says, well, we're going to do this. We're going to do it.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Okay. There's another side to the equation. Iran, and Iran has demonstrated capabilities that are serious and severe, and they control the Strait of Hormuz. Seven more tankers destroyed in the Strait of Hormuz and around it in the past 24 hours. The price of crude, $114 a barrel or so, and it's continuing to go up. The U.S. does not control the Strait of Hormuz. It's a ridiculous lie that's retold over and over and over again. to use a VLCC, a very large crude carrier, costs a million five a day, $1.5 million a day. That in and of itself, the risk premium adds $30 to $33 a barrel of oil.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Just with that alone, even if you get the oil out of these trade of hormones. So what are we talking about here? When we come back, I want to talk about our exclusive reporting at the Midas Touch Network. It's important. It's something that I haven't seen anywhere else. We actually show you what's going on in these bases across the Middle East that have been destroyed by Iran, that had been left defenseless. And we hear from troops who shared their story with us in Valor Media.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Aaron Parnas wrote the story along with Ken Harba. It's having an incredible impact. This is what journalism should be about. And it's because you help build this network. WTF America is our book. If you're able to get the hardcover or the e-book, go and get it now. We're so grateful for you. It's dedicated to you.
Starting point is 00:44:32 We talk about the origin story of this network. But if you're going to wait next week, get it now. so it counts for that first week list. And if you have a copy and you're able to get it as gifts for people in your family, it helps a lot. So get gifts, get books for your friends and family and other people that you know. All right, let's take our last break of the show. Are you tired of having a drink after a long day only to wake up hungover and bloated? That's why I've been loving Willie's THC-infused social tonic.

One of the easiest habits I've been able to actually stick with is incredibly simple,
Starting point is 00:46:15 a spoonful of monocora in the morning. I'll just put it in coffee, tea, or sometimes have it straight from the spoon, and here's a pro tip. Monocora honey, hot water, lemon, trust me. Monocora honey is rich, creamy, and the most delicious honey that you've ever had. The bees gather nectar from the manuka tea tree, which is packed with bioactives, including up to three times more antioxidants than clover honey. Manuka honey also naturally contains MGO, a naturally occurring compound that's unique to
Starting point is 00:46:44 Manuka honey and not found in other types of honey. And I really like the transparency here. Every jar is third-party tested for purity and MGO level before it ever reaches you. It's not a marketing claim, it's a lab result. Each batch gets its own QR code so you can pull up the actual test results for the jar in your hand. And now it's easier than ever to try Monachora Honey. That's monocora.com slash Midas and use Midas to save up to 31% plus $75 worth. of free gifts. That's M-E-I-D-A-S. Let's go. Shout to our sponsors, y'all, links and descriptions both the YouTube and the audio. Use the links, use the codes. If there's an exit survey, let them know we sent you. Benji, what's up? Let's talk about the reporting that we did here on the Midas Touch Network. I'm so grateful for the work of our editorial team, our writers, our reporters here and across the
Starting point is 00:48:02 world. I mean the great Aaron Parnas, veteran Ken Harba, the team of the team of veterans that he has at Midas Defense and Valor Media, the great work that they've done. When we partner with them, you know, Ken has a lot of great segments that he does here, where we get into the real weeds of defense issues and obviously the platform that Aaron has built. And we worked with Aaron when he was literally an undergrad, right, as he was starting law school like seven years ago at this point or six years ago at this point. For context, Aaron went to law school and he was like 17.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yeah, Aaron went to law school and he was like 12. Aaron is dude, Aaron is Dugie Hauser. Oh, yeah, and do this. But we, and by the way, we do talk about in WTF America, our strategy, you know, in terms of how we bring people and try to recruit people who are like top corporate news, be the Scott McBarlins, the Katie Fangs, who are leaving and they want to be entrepreneurial and have their own platforms, but how we also grow talent and promote talent, you know, who these are. people who I think would have great careers without us, but we try to do our best to help as much as we can and support their growth and accelerate it. It's all part of building this pro-democracy infrastructure so that when we have a story like this that we can make sure that we are digging into it as deeply as we can, that we're
Starting point is 00:49:27 getting it out to the most amount of people as possible, that we can deploy it through all forms of media, through TikTok, through the web, through substack, through Instagram, you know, name it. And so this story today has been going viral and it's really shocking reporting. And we've been working on this now for a long time. And so it's great to finally get this out into the world and to let people know the truth about what's happening on these bases. We've seen some stuff about the bases. I haven't seen stuff this detailed about our military bases in the Middle East from the attacks over the summer and other attacks. And here's our article. It's called So Much Worse than People Realize. Never Before Seen Images revealed damage at U.S. bases.
Starting point is 00:50:07 as troops described being abandoned. And like Ben said, this is us, Valor Media, Aaron Parnas, and we have, if you go to the website, if you go to MidasNews.com or a substack minus plus, you'll see we have a bunch of photos, a bunch of videos, a bunch of firsthand accounts from U.S. troops, from their families in the region, from contractors in the region.
Starting point is 00:50:31 And we're getting photos like this, photos of massive explosions on the bases. We're getting photos of, bunkers, barracks destroyed, makeshift bunkers being built like our troops had to do in World War II when they had no other protection digging into the ground in order to build their own foxholes. We are seeing planes blown to shreds. The stuff we are seeing in these photos and what I'm showing right now to the folks watching the podcast is truly shocking. And the comments from the troops, from their families, from the contractors also adds a whole other element.
Starting point is 00:51:07 to it. One key quote from this piece that one of the service members said is, quote, it's so much worse than people realize. And I want you to sit with that for just a second. Not only is it worse than people realize, and you see the evidence here in the various photos that we're showing you, but it seems like these troops have been completely abandoned by the United States government. One of the most shocking things to me. And this is, if this was any president, I'd be highly critical of a president who abandoned our troops overseas, especially in the middle of our war. But our troops told us that, quote, we are sitting ducks. They said they've been facing constant incoming missiles and drones. They're lacking adequate defenses, shelters, and basic supplies.
Starting point is 00:51:54 They're finding out about a lot of what's going on by watching the news, not actually learning about it from people in the United States government. And you just see just this wrecks, whether you're looking at Saudi Arabia, whether you're looking at Jordan, whether you're looking at Kuwait, whether you're looking at the UAE, where we saw these images of the troops forced to dig their own foxholes because they had no adequate shelter anymore due to the attacks. Bahrain, we literally left behind the military families. The evacuation planes were apparently ready to go, ready to bring people to safety. And the Pentagon at the Department of Defense refused to authorize the departures of the military families to bring them to safety. Why? And we have a quote from a family
Starting point is 00:52:42 member. And if this doesn't make your stomach turn, then I don't know what will. The families told us, quote, they said that evacuation would, quote, make the situation look bad at home. So you get our troops, their families, the United States government, refusing to evacuate those people who are at risk, who are in homes way, whose bases have been bombed, refusing to do it because they figure it would look bad at home. They were more concerned about the optics than they were about the actual well-being of those individuals. And in a lot of these families, they are living, you know, close to these bases. They're, you know, living civilians who are in the regions oftentimes, and their homes shaking from the nearby missile interceptions.
Starting point is 00:53:32 You have like the children now, they say that they are terrified when there are thunderstorms back in the United States because it's giving them flashbacks to the missile interceptions and the missiles firing down around them. And these people are saying to us that they believe the United States government that Donald Trump, the Department of Defense, are using them as pawns in this war. Here's another quote right here. And I compiled these because I wanted to make sure I was getting them exact. As an American citizen, I felt completely abandoned by my own government. And here are some comments from the troops.
Starting point is 00:54:09 They said, this is not a normal deployment. No one was coming to help. You just have to ride it out and hope you survive. Some of us don't care if we live or die anymore. This is appalling stuff. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of what's out there. And it's frankly a tip of the iceberg of what's in the story. If you go to our substack, Midasplus.com, you can go to become a free subscriber.
Starting point is 00:54:36 You could read the entire thing. We made this free so everybody could access it. MidasNews.com. You could check it out there as well. But these reports are wild. I'll show you a few of the videos that we have in as well. We have some of the clips from the articles. I think this is from the United Arabians.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Arab Emirates, an Iranian missile evaded our air defenses and struck dangerously close to American personnel. Let me show you this one. Going the interceptors. There's a miss. Interceptors aren't working. And now let me show you another clip that the Department of Defense that the Trump regime did not want out there. Here's never before seen footage of a missile attack on a U.S. base in the United Arab Emirates.
Starting point is 00:55:42 This shows a missile striking just meters away from American personnel caught out in the open. This is also from our reporting in the story. Check this out. This is wild. You see just a massive explosion. Really just meters away from the American personnel here. A huge plume of smoke explosions. This is the kind of stuff that's happening out there.
Starting point is 00:56:14 And this is the kind of stuff that Donald Trump doesn't want you to know about. This is the kind of stuff that Trump keeps saying everything's going great. We're winning the war. Everything's amazing. We control the straight. We're doing incredible. The fact is we're having to evacuate all of our bases in the Middle East because they're destroyed.
Starting point is 00:56:31 They've been destroyed. When Donald Trump says something, remember, it's always the opposite. So what does Trump always say is, I rebuilt the military so bar back. I built it up and it's so impressive now. It's so strong. Oh, yeah? Because we literally don't have bases anymore because you let them get destroyed because of your haphazard actions because of your failed war.
Starting point is 00:56:51 And we could just keep going through the photos here. But I mean, these photos to me really tell a story, you know, beyond what even my words can even do. But I, but I recommend you read the story, read the reporting. Keep spreading the word about this because that's, you know, one of the key things about independent media, of course, is you all running with these stories and making sure everybody's aware of the truth and what's going on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:15 And every one of those interceptors that misses, by the way, depending on if it's a patriot or a thad, each one costs between $5 million and $8 to $10 million. And they usually shoot as two, sometimes three. So every time you see one of those patriots or thads activated, on the low end, you're talking $10 million, or potentially you're talking $20 million. dollars, whereas the Iranian drones, $25, $30,000 to make an Iranian drone, their cruise missiles, more like 100K, their top, top of the line ballistics are like a million bucks, but really you could do one of their ballistics that are very effective at a quarter of a million dollars. And they mass produce these ballistics, these cruise missiles, these anti-ship missiles, these anti-ship
Starting point is 00:58:10 missiles, these drones, and they have a massive stockpile, and they've demonstrated their ability, their ability to use it, and we're seeing that take place. Meanwhile, you have Iran's parliament leader, M. B. Ghalabap, he continues to troll, Treasury Secretary Besant, and the Trump regime. His latest post was Morpheus from The Matrix, saying 10 pills, all bad. No, No red, no blue, all suit. You don't have to take any, but if you do, you will take all. Break the manufactured matrix, leave. And he's saying, you know, mortgages are up, gas prices are up, debt is up, jets are down,
Starting point is 00:58:57 real wages are down, killed soldiers are up, reputation is down, diesel is up, legacy is down, stocks are down. And he's been posting a bunch of that. Meanwhile, you had Treasury Secretary Bessent out there saying, ah, economic outcast is working great, operation, economic outcast. And it's like, okay, this past week you had Russia's foreign minister Lavrov, met in Iran, in Tehran with Iran's foreign minister, Iraqi, talking about their strong relationship together, their cooperation,
Starting point is 00:59:31 across nuclear, across regional security, economic cooperation, how their causes are one, their causes are united. We've heard that. We also, meanwhile, saw Whitkoff. He was in Russia meeting with Putin, and Whitkoff said, oh, Putin, you're such a humanitarian, you're such an incredible person. What a wonderful human being you are. And so we've seen Whitkoff do that stick again.
Starting point is 01:00:02 You know, great economic outcast, where you are sucking up and being a bootlicker to Putin who's supporting Iran in the catastrophic war that you initiated while, I mean, like, if you just think about the stupidity of what, it's not a policy, it's just literally acting dumb, which is Russia is helping Iran. You invaded Iran, created an oil crisis, which now you're using to say why you need to buy Russian diesel and they're helping, I mean, it's just, it's, it's inexplicable except this is who Trump is. And then, you know, I'll leave you with this one, because there's so much we can talk about.
Starting point is 01:00:38 But to me, this sums up how despicable he is, where he keeps going over and over again, how great Vivek Ramoswami's ad against Dr. Amy Acton was, you know, the Ohio governor's race. It's Dr. Amy Acton, the Democrat, a beloved figure in Ohio, who was there helpful during the pandemic health policy over there, against Vivek Ramaswami, kind of a lifelong scumbag. You know, everything he's done has been filled with deceit and trickery
Starting point is 01:01:06 and just being an utter phony. So it's Vivek versus Dr. Amy Acton. Vivek is getting desperate. I mean, he was trailing by a little bit in the polls, and now he's trailing by a lot. But, you know, he was trailing. He runs this ad featuring Amy Acton's estranged. Mother, you probably know the story,
Starting point is 01:01:23 but just to be very brief about it, she's estranged because she took the side of Amy Acton's stepfather. Amy Acton's stepfather raped Amy Acton when she was 12 years old, and he was arrested. And so Amy Acton and her brother, when they were young, they were moved into another home, obviously, because the stepfather was arrested. The estranged mom became estranged because she supported her husband, the stepfather, who was sexually assaulting the daughter. And then Amy Acton and the brother never talked to their mom again because that's the situation that happened over there. And so Vivek Ramoswamy runs an ad from the estranged mom saying,
Starting point is 01:02:06 my daughter's a liar, don't trust her, she's a serial liar. And it was like universally viewed like that was like a disgusting ad. Like even there was Republicans and even the people I guess who support Vivek were like, dude, that's a really bad. That's a sick ad. You know, you're taking the, you realize what happened to Amy Acton? Like, who does that? And Trump's like all in on this ad.
Starting point is 01:02:31 And so like what Trump, that was a great ad. It's an amazing ad. Of course I'm defending the mom. Why would we go after the estranged mom? And so like, I'll just show you, we'll just show one of them here, Brett. Let's just show the one where the reporter's like, but do you realize like what the situation even is? Like, do you know what you're saying? He's like, no, no, but why, why are we mad at the mom?
Starting point is 01:02:52 Here, let's play this clip. Nothing wrong with him. Amy Acton's mother said horrible things about Amy Acton. And I don't know why you're not allowed. to do that. You're not allowed to do broadcast it. Now, I'll say this, the press is ganged up because you hate it, because that one hand should really win. Look, if what the mother said about the daughter is half right, she has no right even running for the governor of Ohio. What about what the daughter said about her mother? I don't know what the daughter said.
Starting point is 01:03:22 I don't know. Her stepmother, her mother remained married her stepmother who's sexually had been told her brother's old. When did she make that statement? Was she just recently? Because, you know, I have no idea. All I know is Amy Acton's father said horrible things about Amy Acton, calling her a liar and other things and unreliable. A lot of very bad things. And I say that she's fair game. And I know one thing.
Starting point is 01:03:49 If it were my mother, I'd be fair game. And you know that and you know that well. You're trying to help Amy Acton get elected. The press is teamed up to help Amy Acton get elected. And that's all it is. What the mother said is terrible from the standpoint that I wouldn't want somebody like that to be the governor of a great state. I mean, again, I've said it before. Like Trump and his ilk are demons.
Starting point is 01:04:14 They're demonic human beings. They're not even human beings. They're demons. They're just evil, putrid creatures who are here to hurt you. That's who they are. They are really just bad creatures. They are bad, evil, They are deceitful.
Starting point is 01:04:33 They try to pretend that they're with, they are demons. They are sick, sick people. They cover up the Epstein files. They cover up child sex trafficking. They get into catastrophic wars. They slaughter little children. Everything's a lie. Everything's a deceit.
Starting point is 01:04:54 There are demons among us. They really are. There are demons and evil things, evil creatures. inhabited the White House now. It's not a political message. It's just sick, six, six, six, sick, six, demons. That's all I got to say. Brett, Jordan. But wow, that's the perfect encapsulation of MAGA right there and this entire movement and everything that's wrong, frankly, with this entire era and our society can be summed up in that clip. And what a surprise that Epstein's best friend and the person who's covering up for the Epstein files and the person who's
Starting point is 01:05:27 had many accusations against himself would be now covering up for a peto protector, right? I guess peto protectors stick together. That's what Donald Trump is doing. Imagine supporting someone's abuser. I mean, this is really just horrific stuff. I hope it backfires in the biggest wave. If Aik Ramoswami deserves to be nowhere near the government, the governorship, not because he's a Republican, but because he's a scumbag because he's a bad person.
Starting point is 01:05:53 And that's only what a bad person would do is release that ad. throw four and a half million dollars behind it played on c uh played on esPN and all these channels like what a what a how cruel what a what an absolute disgrace and anybody who supports that to me that's a litmus test for you as an individual like can we actually get along can we find commonality can we find a place where maybe we could disagree on some things but agree on some things if you believe that that is okay then you're at you're dead to me you know you're you're lost you got to find your way back because that is just some reprehensible stuff, reprehensible stuff. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Seeing Trump respond to that too, also, again, it is a case study in what a leader shouldn't do. Donald Trump says, never heard of it. I don't know. What happened? He doesn't take any sort of account. He's obviously been told the entire scope of this story by now, especially when the reporters, by the time the reporters get to ask him, and he just continues to play dumb. I found it very interesting that Donald Trump kept talking about, well, wow, you thought Amy's act and her own mother said this about her, said this about her.
Starting point is 01:07:06 Just got me thinking, hey, you know, Donald Trump, you seem to be taking the words of the mother, daughter, relationship very seriously here. Why didn't you take it seriously when Pete Hexas' mom came out and said he was abuser of woman when that was well documented? It just goes to show you that he, like his line of thinking when it comes to this is, again, it's a zero-sum game to him in the sense that he only views this as how can ultimately this benefit me, Donald Trump. How can this benefit MAGA, me, Donald Trump, and my personal movement? He doesn't stand for anything. He's a disgusting creature that only wants to move forward his own agenda.
Starting point is 01:07:45 No matter what trail of violence and destruction, he kind of. leaves behind them. It's disgusting. And again, that on full display right there, that is the perfect encapsulation of MAGA, of what Donald Trump stands for, and that rot in this society that will really be a generational fight to get out of here for good. I want to remind everybody the book, WTF America, the way out of this hell and back to democracy. It's out now. If you were planning, not getting it. Now is the time to do it because this is when all of the kind of first week lists come out. And so if you are able to get it the way out of this hell and back to democracy,
Starting point is 01:08:32 purchase it now or get it as gifts for people that you know. I think it's an important work. I really do. And it's dedicated to the mightest mighty. We write a lot about this community, how this community grew to become what it is, our philosophy about independent news, how we, are expanding internationally, what that means, how we build these teams in this decentralized way to do the type of reporting that you're seeing, for example, with our story about the military bases, how we are optimistic that since we've only been around for six years and state regime media Fox really developed 60 years ago with a memo from Roger Al's to Richard Nixon, where we can be in 40 to 60 years is something that I actually.
Starting point is 01:09:20 think is a lasting legacy that we want to build for for future generations, for our children and our grandchildren and your children and your grandchildren or just future generations of people that you know just to leave the world a better place. That's all I got. Brent and Jordy, anything else you want to say? No, I think we covered a lot. Thank you to everybody for support. Thanks for bearing with us when we talk about the book.
