That's California Governor Gavin Newsom in San Jose before the SEIU local 2015. He brought the house down, speaking with moral clarity and authority, speaking about Prop 50 to redistrict California in response to Trump rigging the midterm elections and the crowd there in San Jose was loving someone standing up powerfully

to Donald Trump. Watch this moment where Governor Newsom's mic goes off and he's like, I don't need the mic. This was an incredible moment from that speech in San Jose. Watch it. So I just cut the mics out. The mic, I don't need a damn mic.

And so all I have left, all I have left to say to you is the future is not something to experience and something to manifest. The future is inside of every single one of you. So let's get out. Let's knock on doors. Let's make phone calls and let's send a message to Donald Trump. Hell no, we're done. Thank you guys. Here's another moment where Governor Newsom kind of walks through the crowd and just has an incredible presence in that room.

They thought we were gonna maybe write an op-ed. They thought we would, you know, sit back, maybe have a candlelight vigil. They did not expect all of you. They did not expect this campaign. They did not expect politics and fire, fire, fire, and we will win. Will winning. And you gotta tell you in closing, because this is important.

This is, there's a reason this is called Prop 50. Yes, this is about the state of California, but it's about the United States of America. It's about all our democracy. It's about our republic. It's about these enduring values that our family fathers established 249 years ago, the best of the Roman Republic, the best of Greek democracy, popular sovereignty, the rule of law, not the rule of

Don. And so that's it. Then after that speech, Governor Newsom took to social media, he posted the following on Friday. Happy Friday, Patriots, have a peaceful weekend. Then he posted this. Dozy Don is literally destroying the people's house. Founding fathers are rolling over. Instead of lowering prices like me. America's favorite governor, he's building himself a T-Mu-Versize, gold-plated ballroom, and the price keeps changing. 200 million, 250 million, 300 million. Now 350 million for his golden ballroom. No art in that deal. Next week, it'll be a trillion, a bargain. He claims it's his money, false. Donor bribes. No health care for you, but a gold ballroom for him. Epstein, invited to party later this year, question mark. It's time to return this sad party city Putin

palace and the discount dictator focused on decorating. Throw dollar store Don and his fake gold out. Democracy, exclamation point. Thank you for your attention to this matter. G.C.N. Governor Newsom then posts, it appears Americans going hungry does not qualify as an emergency for Donald Trump. Disgusting in response to the Politico article, Trump administration won't tap emergency funds to pay food aid. This move means 42 million people will miss their SNAP benefits in November unless Congress acts. This is the Trump-Magrepublican government shutdown where they're taking away health care from 20 million Americans by not extending the Affordable Care Act subsidies and by shutting the government down,

in order for them to rip people's health care away, they're also depriving 42 million people of their SNAP benefits. Very Trumpy while they build a golden ballroom and then Trump talks about next doing a triumphal arch, a triumphal arch, an arch day Trump. How ridiculous is that? Governor Newsom's press office then says the following.

In response to a Fox article about Farmageddon, Trump's trade war and shut, down are crushing the heartland. Across the Midwest, combines sit idle and bins overflow with unsold grain. Tariffs cost to companies this year will hit $1.2 trillion with consumers taking most of the hit. S&P says, Donald Trump promised Americans wouldn't pay the price of his tariffs, Newsom writes. another promise broken, a total betrayal by Donald Trump. Donald Trump and the White House account responding to each other. Trump goes, the United States is wealthy, powerful, and nationally secure again, all because

of tariffs. The most important case ever is in the United States Supreme Court. God bless America. I think Donald Trump's telling the Supreme Court that even though the power to tariff, to tax is an article one. The Congress, Donald Trump thinks that he gets. to rule as a dictator and just say anything goes in terms of emergencies. Emergency with Canada.

Emergency with Mexico. Emergency with Europe. Emergency with Australia where there's a trade surplus. Emergency with Brazil because Donald Trump supports the former insurrection as president of Brazil, Bolsonaro, and is upset that Bolsonaro was appropriately prosecuted for an insurrection in Brazil. Emergencies everywhere, Donald Trump says. But Governor Newsom says reality check.

Inflation is climbing, wages are stalling, and Trump's economy is collapsing. Governor Newsom then submitted a brief to the United States Supreme Court regarding the decision that the Supreme Court will soon have to render on tariffs, Donald Trump's tariffs and trade war against the world. Governor Newsom says, Newsom is taking Trump's illegal tariffs to the U.S. Supreme Court. Congress never gave Trump the power. Americans and small businesses are paying the price. Trump's tariffs are raising costs threatening jobs,

likely leading to a $25 billion loss and $64,000 fewer jobs in California alone. Governor Newsom is deploying the California National Guard to help people who are suffering as a result of the Trump shutdown. At the request of Governor Newsom, the California National Guard members and teams from California volunteers

have begun their work to assist food banks across the state in response to Trump's prolonged government shutdown, cutting off access to federally funded food benefits and support like Snap and Cal Fresh. Governor Newsom also had to issue a powerful response to the news that Donald Trump is sending the DOJ and so-called election monitors to California and New Jersey. And this is a election that just involves on November 4th, The state of California, okay, it has nothing to do with the, you know, federal elections or DOJ.

State of California, sovereign state, can it change its independent commission and have a short-term response to the rigging of the election by Donald Trump by doing a mid-decade redistricting in California? That's what it's about. Can California change its constitution, have this amendment and then redistrict? That's what it's about. And Trump wants to interfere with that and go. Governor Newsom says this is not a federal election. The U.S. Department of Justice has no business or basis to interfere with this election. This is solely about whether California amends our state constitution.

This administration has made no secret of its goal to undermine free and fair elections. Deploying these federal forces appears to be an intimidation tactic meant for one thing. Suppressed the vote. Then Governor Newsom made the following video right here. Donald Trump's puppet DOJ has no business. screwing around with next month's election. Sending the feds into California polling places is a deliberate attempt to scare off voters and undermine a fair election.

We will not back down. Californians decide our future. No one else. And watch this video that Governor Newsom made play this clip. So today, the Trump administration announced they're sending election monitors to five specific counties here in the state of California. They have no business doing that. They have no basis to do that.

In fact, we have a statewide election. election for a statewide constitution. This is about voter intimidation. This is about voter suppression, period, full stop. And it's a pattern, isn't it? It's consistent with what they've done with the federalization of the National Guard and the intimidation and the chill that's created. They'll do that right around Election Day as well.

Same thing with ICE and Border Patrol, mass men. Watch that space showing up in and around polling booths and voting places. But this is a bridge too far. And I hope people understand it's a bridge that they're trying to build the scaffolding for all across this country in next November's election. They do not believe in fair and free elections. Our republic, our democracy is on the line. We all need to wake up. Powerful stuff right there by Governor Newsom.

He also points out the following facts. Donald Trump has done nothing but make America more expensive. Inflation is up. Beef prices are at an all-time high. Coffee prices are up 20.9 percent. electricity bills are up 10%, new car prices just eclips $50,000 for the first time, and health care costs are about to skyrocket and medically bankrupt over 20 million Americans as the Affordable Care Act subsidies are not being extended.

People, you may be getting your letters already. In Colorado, it's going to cost a family like $24,000 a year more for health insurance. In Pennsylvania, 103% increases in your monthly premiums. We're seeing numbers like that across the country. We've been showing you those numbers on the Midas Touch Network. Look, in the meantime, Governor Newsom is fast-tracking $80 million to try to provide life-saving food benefits as Americans are literally starving as a result of Donald Trump. And Newsom also points out the Trump effect.

The total U.S. debt officially crossed 38, trillion for the first time in history. And there's more federal government spending right now than under former President Biden.
