We are seeing this week some Republican leaders fleeing from Donald Trump and supporting other candidates or potential candidates for the Republican primary. And I will show you some of the people that they are supporting and that they are horrific candidates as well in addition to horrific

people based on the policies that they espouse. But let's talk about what's happened this week. We've seen certain key senators support people running against Donald Trump. We've seen some major donors support people running against Donald Trump. And most recently, we've seen about 100 former Trump administration officials say that they are not going to be supporting Donald Trump in a new group that they form. First, let's talk about the senators. So two senators from South Dakota, Senator John Thune and Senator Mike Rounds, both Republicans, expressed their support earlier this week for Tim Scott, their Republican colleague in the Senate. He's

the MAGA Republican senator from South Carolina. Let me tell you what Mike Rounds said about Tim Scott. He said, he's the closest that we have to Ronald Reagan, and you're going to see that. We'll see that in one moment with his announcement. Senator Mike Rounds, again, this Republican, also said, I am supporting Tim Scott. I've already told him that I was going to. This is what he also said, quote, he'll bring our country together. He cares deeply about making the right decisions. I believe he will build a good team. He's got a business background. He's got a great personal story and he understands and he truly cares about people. A Republican senator from Wyoming,

Cynthia Loomis, says, quote, I think he is the right messenger with the right message. I'm going to show you his announcement that he was running, though, to show that's completely false. And quote, we need a candidate in this race who has solid values that he really does wear on his sleeve. And Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas said, gosh, I mean, certainly one of my favorite people up here. He's Mr. Personality. He's a solid conservative and a godly man. And then Senator John Thune, Republican, also from South Dakota, stated that Donald Trump relitigating the 2020 election is not a winning strategy. And that Senator Tim Scott has obviously helped a lot of people around the country in the last year. And just so I can give you some background on Senator Tim Scott, he was ultimately appointed to his position in the last year. And just so I can give you some background on Senator Tim Scott, he was ultimately appointed to his position in the Senate by Nikki Haley in 2013. He was

elected to full terms in 2016 and in 2022. And when he ran, one of the things that they emphasized about him as a candidate was that he was a virgin. During the time of his first campaign in South Carolina, Scott was a proud virgin, seeing that he intended staying true to his evangelical Christian faith. As reported by the Daily Mail, he often told audiences that he had never been intimate with a woman because it was against God's word. However, his pledge of abstinence did not last too long, seeing that after 16 years of being in the political limelight, he admitted that when he was 46, he was no longer a virgin. I know why he's even sharing this and talking about these things. And it's also hypocritical. He says his evangelical faith told him to do this until he got into the political limelight. But I digress. Let me show you, and again, I'm going to show you some other video clips of some of the other candidates just so you can see what horrific candidates they are. But this is from Senator Tim Scott's announcement on Monday that he would be running for president. We did a little compilation here

Donald Trump megadonor abandons him as he predicts collapse in support. Hal Lambert, founder and CEO of Texas-based Point Bridge Capital, said he wants to do a lot to help DeSantis win. Among strong speculation, the Florida government will state that he's running for office.

This week, Lambert set up an exchange-traded fund named after Make America Great Again 2016 campaign slogan. He called the fund MAGA ETF. Wow, that doesn't sound grifty or anything. And previously served on Trump's inaugural committee in 2016. But he's now telling the New York Post he will be supporting DeSantis and stated that he doesn't think that Trump running on the fact that the 2020 election was rigged is a winning issue. And then we learned from another breaking article about more than 100

Trump administration officials who formed a new group backing ron desantis that's just breaking over the wire over 100 former trump administration officials back desantis for president they say he is a proven winner the officials have formed a coalition called the eight-year alliance viewing desantis as a viable two-term candidate. And the group of former Trump administration officials include Acting Associate Attorney General and former Special Assistant to Secretary of Defense and Secretary and White House Liaison at the Department of Labor,

former Senior Counsel and Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and so on and so forth by the way so I showed you the clip over there of Senator Tim Scott this is a video of Ron DeSantis over the past few days this was him campaigning where while he's campaigning you'll see just how gross he is I mean he literally picks his nose, wipes his nose, and then wipes it on a person sitting in the chair. Then I want to show you something a little bit more serious, but first play this clip. We put this together at Midas Touch based on what uh, uh, DeSantis did play this clip. Okay, don't back down. We won't.

But going to a far more serious video, this is going viral right now on TikTok. And this is a clip of a Florida teacher who talks about how Ron DeSantis just sent some of the government officials to the school to seize their books. I'll just let the video speak for itself. Play this clip. This is a quick video. I'm at my school right now. I just want to show you something because the state just came last week and decided what books were appropriate or inappropriate. So I'm going to figure out how to show you. Inappropriate. This is a book that's been deemed inappropriate. These are the boxes of books waiting to go out. Look how big this box is.

I'm going to show you some of the titles. Show them this one too. Blacks in Aviation. Yep. We have 20th Century Writers. We have Rosemary in the Woods. American

the Hauntist. The Big Lie. It's all about Judaism. Women of Nigeria. Hitler. El Salvador. These are just a few of the books that have been deemed inappropriate. Lewis and Clark.

They're removing these books from our library. Jefferson Republic. I don't understand. Lewis and Clark. They're removing these books from our library. Jefferson Republic. I don't understand. 20th century writers. Hate groups. So, yeah, this is what's going on. So you see right there, folks, the modern day MAGA Republican Party.

I mean, on the one hand, you have individuals fleeing from Donald Trump. On the other hand, you see Tim Scott, you see Ron DeSantis, and there is extremist, radical views of them using the government to take away your freedom and to rule as authoritarians. And so they are still acting as MAGA. This is really, really, really kind of sickening behavior that we need to call out all of these MAGA Republican candidates for what they do.
