Here is where we share the testimonials of people who have left the MAGA Republican Party recognizing that with Trumpism it is too extreme, it is too fascist, it is anti-American And we need to go back to normalcy.

We need to go back to actually making government work for the people and rejecting the extremism, the weirdness of what the MAGA Republican Party represents today. These are independents and former Republicans and people not affiliated with political parties sharing their testimonials. So let's get into some of these testimonials. Loretta Donk writes, was a Republican since 1971, though I never was a hardline voter. I became a Democrat when Trump was elected. He is a crazy grifter, only for himself, never for the people. Absolutely true. PH Dangerously Overeducated writes, I am a former Republican, but I left in 2016 to quote Ronald Reagan and most

recently Adam Kinzinger. I didn't leave my party. My party left me. At this point, I will never again vote for a Republican, independent Democrat for the foreseeable future. Thanks for sharing. Darkly Yours writes, my dad is as red as our necks and he voted blue with me the last two elections. Go dad. That's right. Go dad. And look, for all the people out there who have family members who you think you won't be able to convince them, I promise you, you can if you're able to just calmly explain these issues to them. There is a way. There is hope. There's hope. Kathy Easler writes, I also long for the work for America Republican Party. I was a Republican until listening to the campaign lies and hate rhetoric of Donald Trump.

I am now a proud Democrat. I believe the work President Biden and the Democrats in government are doing for the American people. It is sad that we are so conflicted now. I never thought America would have to worry about becoming a fascist country. I remember the Holocaust. Thank you for your continued hard work on behalf of the America we all knew and still love. Thank you, Kathy, for sharing that with us. LaRonda Bourne writes, honestly, the only reason I voted Trump was that he wasn't Hillary. My husband thought Trump was the only good choice

in 2016. Sadly, I was not an educated voter. Today, I'm much better educated and sure wish I could unlearn the ugliness I've learned. At midterms, only Democrats got my vote because I had no idea where the Republican nut was under the shell. I think under the shell, the Republican nut was a nutcase, a fascist nutcase who are doing things that we see now, for example, with Kevin McCarthy, appointing people like Marjorie Taylor Greene to committees and George Santos to committees and making sure that they attack the Department of Justice and the FBI and try to hold our nation hostage by not paying the debts that Donald Trump ran up by refusing to raise the debt ceiling and trying to force

America to default on its debt. That's the nut case under the nut that is the fascist MAGA Republican Party today. This is what Mitchell writes. I registered Republican when I was about 18 or 19 years old. I will soon be 57. And when Trump won the presidential election, that's when I switched to become independent. Trump, in my opinion, is the worst thing to ever happen to this country. And I think that's very accurate. I think Donald Trump truly is the worst thing to ever happen to this country. And frankly, the MAGA Republican Party that has now been created in his image is also the same. It's just a very strange concept when you have a political party, one of the two major political parties, this MAGA Republican Party that is just taking action to try to destroy America each and every day.

And when they're not actually taking that action, they're trying to distract you from taking that action by talking about all of these ridiculous conspiracies from the most violent, reprehensible conspiracies like election denialism and claiming that the insurrectionists are political prisoners and trying to overthrow a free and fair election. They try to spread that every single day. And then also talking about things like, oh, the green Eminem is a lesbian and the purple Eminem is obese and Eminems are woke and Disney is woke.

And we need to focus on pronouns today. And that really makes the MAGA Republicans angry and Democrats are coming for your stoves. And so we need to do things and give people tax cuts to have gas stoves and Dr. Seuss this and Mr. Potato Head that and Disney this. And it's like, can we focus on like real issues that matter to American people? You know, meanwhile, that's exactly what President Biden is doing. That's exactly what Democrats are doing. And do I agree with Democrats on every single issue? No, of course, I disagree sometimes on issues. That disagreeing is perfectly normal. But what I do agree is that there's only one

political party, and I don't think this could be contested. It's the Democratic Party that actually has adults in the room who are trying to come up with solutions. I mean, look, we should start with the premise that we want to make sure Americans get health care. We want to make sure that Americans get education, that we want to make sure that Americans keep their social security, that we want to lower prescription drug prices, that we want to help our veterans within those framing. And I can go on with a number of other issues that Americans should have the best paying jobs.

We want to make sure that manufacturing jobs are brought here to the United States of America. We want more infrastructure within those things that we should all agree on. As Americans, we may have different policies about how we achieve those ends. And when there's something like a dangerous global pandemic, we should say that's a dangerous global pandemic. And so within all of these things, we have to recognize objective realities. And then we can say, well, how do we confront problems and issues better? Here's a set of policies. Here's a set of policies. Let's have a debate. But when it comes to the MAGA Republicans, they say things like the global pandemic is not real and it's overhyped.

They say things like elections are stolen when they're not stolen. They say things like only billionaires should get tax cuts and that Americans should not have living wages but should have the most minimum wages possible. They say things like they want to take away your Social Security. And so when it comes to that, we just have to call what that is out. And we can't both sides the issue. And again, we can't call MAGA Republicans conservative because they're not conserving anything.

Again, if you were to line up my views, I think I line up to mostly espouse views that would lean traditionally to what would be considered liberal or progressive, but I don't like to use those labels at all because I think I'm more conservative than any of these MAGA Republicans. I believe in conserving our democracy. I believe in conserving our constitution. The MAGA Republican leader, Donald Trump, called for the termination of the United States Constitution, and none of the MAGA Republican leaders even blinked an eye. And when I say MAGA Republican, I mean that's the Republican party today. They barely blinked an eye in that, and they are okay with that type of behavior.

I believe in conserving our institutions. I believe in conserving the United States of America that defends and protects our allies abroad and doesn't support Russia and Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un and other enemies abroad. I think that should just be common sense, yet that's not what the MAGA Republicans stand for. They stand for hate. They stand for supporting our enemies. They stand for disinformation. stand for supporting our enemies. They stand for disinformation. And again, let's compare it to what President Biden has been saying this week. President Biden goes, every time somebody starts a small business, it's an act of hope. And that's what we're seeing in the two strongest years of small business applications in American

history. Optimism for the years ahead. And the White House Twitter account explained, under President Biden's leadership, our economy has added 750,000 manufacturing jobs and private companies have announced more than $300 billion in manufacturing investments here in the United States. We are making and building it in America again. The White House account also tweeted out, semiconductors power virtually everything in our lives, from phones to automobiles to artificial intelligence. Thanks to the Chips and Science Act, we will make these chips here in America again, which will lower costs for families and create thousands of good-paying jobs. President Biden in the White House also tweeted out,

Extra breathing room for millions of Americans is now on hold because of lawsuits brought by opponents of this administration's student debt relief plan. There's opponents being the MAGA Republicans, most of who have taken PPP loans to relinquish their own debts. We are continuing to fight to deliver relief to tens of millions of eligible borrowers. And again, it's 26 million people in 50 states applied or automatically eligible for one-time student debt relief, which again focused on people making less than $125,000 a year and focused on debt relief of less than $10,000 a year and focused on debt relief of less than $10,000, where MAGA Republicans who are opposing this were fine under the PPP program,

having hundreds of thousands of dollars, and in some cases, a million dollars of debt that was wiped out by the government. And they're, of course, always okay with bailouts for billionaires, whatever billionaires ask for the bailouts. The White House account also explained President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act will put a $2,000 a year cap on prescription drugs for seniors on Medicare, even if their drugs cost $10,000, $12,000, or $14,000 a year like some cancer drugs do. That's big. And here's a video of President Biden talking about while Democrats are focused on helping the American people and delivering results, what the MAGA Republicans want to do. This was one of the first things they introduced in the House of Representatives. In addition to trying to take away your Social Security, in addition to trying to take away your Medicare. Again, not fear-mongering. That's actually what

the MAGA Republicans are saying on the House floor, that they want to take away your Social Security and take away your Medicare, and then they want to add a 30% national tax that would increase the price on everything so that they could give tax cuts to the billionaires and tax you. That is the MAGA Republican agenda here. Let's play this video of President Biden. Play the clip. And now these MAGA Republicans are going to introduce another bill. It's going to eliminate the IRS, going to eliminate it completely and replace the IRS, which would be nice, no taxes, right? Except with a 30% national sales tax and everything from if you buy a home to a car to eggs. That's right.

They want to raise taxes on working and middle-class people, taxing every item from groceries, gasoline, clothing, supplies, medicine, even big-ticket rent and cars. That's how they're starting this new term. Cutting taxes on billionaires, raising taxes on middle class families, and making inflation worse for real. So that's why I think these testimonial videos are very important, folks. I want to hear your story. I want you to share this video with people that you know, people who are still in the MAGA Republican Party that you know who you think may want to leave. Let them know about this large pro-democracy community. We love the United States
