So we are on a short break from Donald Trump's criminal trial through the Memorial Day holiday. Summations will be taking place on Tuesday. What a disastrous move by Donald Trump and his defense team to put on Robert Costello, who under cross-examination just completely folded. And Robert Costello, even on direct examination, was told by the judge that his conduct was contemptuous because he was staring down the judge and making noises and saying that, okay, well, why don't you just strike my testimony

then? Just behavior that doesn't belong in the courtroom, frankly, behavior that doesn't belong in the schoolyard with petulant children bullying each other, which would be unacceptable for petulant children. Yet this is Robert Costello. This is what MAGA lawyers are like. My brother Jordy put it best. He said that Robert Costello behaved on the stand exactly the way the media tried to push the narrative about how they said Michael Cohen was going to behave.

Whereas Cohen was professional, made eye contact to the jury, by all accounts was engaging and unflappable. The MAGA lawyer called by the defense basically as their only witness was disrespectful to the judge, disrespectful to the prosecutor, disrespectful to the jury, and time and time again demonstrated that he was a complete and total liar. So as we head into Memorial Day and summations will take place next week, you've got Donald Trump posting kangaroo court, kangaroo court over and over again because he's a little baby boy and no offense to baby boys, but I mean, Donald Trump's behavior is just so bizarre. By the way, during the charging instructions hearing about what jury instructions the jury would receive whenever there would be a ruling that Donald Trump wouldn't like and his lawyers would explain to him what the judge would do, Donald Trump would, he would cross his arms and he would go, as it was being reported. The behavior is just so bizarre. So in addition to posting kangaroo court,

kangaroo court over and over again, Donald Trump had his, what is she, a lawyer, a legal spokesperson, surrogate, I don't know what you call her anymore, Alina Haba. She went on all the right-wing media and she's been basically saying, look, here's what needs to happen. Justice Mershon, if you want to have the judge presiding over the case, if you want to have a shred of credibility, you need to dismiss the case right now. Just throw the case out and then you'll get your credibility back. Alina Alba, a lawyer with quite literally negative credibility, saying this to a well-respected judge. Here, play this clip. So it's time to wrap this case up, throw it out. If this judge wants any credibility back, that's what he should do. There should have been a directed verdict. There should have been a

mistrial. Oh, all right there, Alina. Okay, Alina. Okay. Alina Habba then goes, there must be some conspiracy here about how Justice Mershon got this case. One of the main criminal judges in Manhattan got a criminal case assigned to him. There must be something nefarious at play here. Watch this. Play it. You have Judge Mershon, who should have recused himself. Judge Mershon, who I want the American people to remember very astutely, has somehow randomly selected,

had Steve Bannon's case, had Allen Weisselberg's case, and now put Allen Weisselberg back in jail. Okay, this is what we're dealing with. Somehow he randomly also gets Donald Trump. That's not the way the system works. You assign a case randomly. That's the way it's supposed to work.

And then the name calling over and over again, Crooked Judge. He's a crooked judge, Alina Haba said. He's so crooked that he couldn't stand if there was bad evidence being brought in by this attorney, by what Robert Costello, who made a fool of himself, talking about. Play this clip. God knows the press is tough on me, but I had their back in this one. They had no business kicking them out. And that judge is so crooked that he couldn't stand that there was bad evidence being brought in by this attorney who happened to work for the SDNY,

let's not forget, who has a great stellar reputation, as you mentioned. But the judge lost his cool. He lost his cool on Monday, and he lost his cool again today. And by the way, when these lawyers go on here and when the media push their narratives, I mean, Fox is just pure propaganda filth. But even like when other legacy media, the MSNBCs and CNN, they go by narratives, not

the underlying transcripts. And so it's like you should go through with people. Like Robert Costello's main point that he was trying to make first on direct is that he never had Donald Trump's interest. He was focused purely on representing Michael Cohen, even though know now Robert Castello thought that would be professionally helpful for him if he became a MAGA lawyer, went to Cohen and then said to Cohen, look, I know I've got friends in high places. I've got friends and I could back channel for you. Then he was asked, do you believe that your interests were purely focused on Michael Cohen and that you weren't focused on helping Trump?

And Gustav's like, my interests were Cohen. Then he was presented with emails that showed that he was calling Cohen an a-hole and saying, how can we help Donald Trump and make sure we shut this down from Michael Cohen? And that's what a good cross exam is about. You know, it's like when the media is like, oh, my God, Michael Cohen. It was revealed on the stand that Michael Cohen took extra money from the Trump organization in connection with one of the reimbursement payments. Well, first off, you acknowledge that that would be a reimbursement payment, thus a falsification of business record.

And Cohen talked about that in his book. It's in disloyal. If you go read his book, he talked about it. It wasn't like Trump's lawyer went, aha, look what I've discovered. Just go and read Cohen's book, do a scintilla of research, and you would uncover that. Then Alina Haba does the whole thing. This is under the Biden regime. We're watching the politicization of our judicial system. Here, play this clip. And then they come in and they do it. Why? This is all a show. President Trump has said it a million times. This is the Biden-Trump show trial after show trial. And guess what? They're falling apart. Biden has nothing to do with this. Biden didn't have Donald Trump go make hush money payments to porn stars

and falsify his business records. Biden didn't have Donald Trump lead an insurrection that we all observe. Biden didn't have Donald Trump steal nuclear secrets and steal our war plans. Biden has nothing to do with that. Biden has nothing to even do with the day-to-day decision-making of the Department of Justice, the same way Donald Trump orders the Department of Justice and orders MAGA Republicans and orders people to actually politicize our judicial system, politicize our Congress, and attack his political enemies like a dictator, as Donald Trump posts the third unified right this and echoes and just says these other horrific things, echoing dictators. President Biden has nothing to do with the

Manhattan district attorney's charging decisions. A grand jury indicted Donald Trump for falsifying business records. By the way, in the Southern District of Florida, a grand jury indicted Donald Trump for stealing our nuclear codes, our nuclear secrets, our war plans. That's serious business, stealing our nuclear secrets and our nuclear codes. Biden's politicizing. Just stop with this crap. I will respect the verdict of the jury, no matter what it is, because I care about law and order as we all should. He's a former disgraced, twice impeached, four times indicted. This is a Biden-Trump show trial. No, it's not. It's a very serious trial for very serious conduct.

Just one of the things that you should notice about Alina Haba, right? This is just this, their script is so predictable. I think I said this on a political beatdown episode I did with Dina Dahl recently, and I may have said it on the Brother podcast. I almost wish it wasn't so predictable, and I wouldn't be as frustrated with corporate media for just not reporting on things that are so obvious and basic. Like, their script, these are not smart people, the Habas and the Trumps and these MAGA leaders. They're very predictable, cartoonish in their wannabe fascism. They're very easy to predict their behavior. They always attack the

judges. Here's Alina Haba when she attacked Justice and Goran. You wouldn't even know. You'd be like, which judge is she attacking her? It sounds like the exact same stuff that she was showing in the early clips. This is her attacking the prior judge, Justice N'Goran, in the civil fraud case where Trump was found liable for telling her to basically stop violating court orders. And she's like, I got yelled at. The judge yelled at me. Here, play this clip. But I was told to sit down today.

I was yelled at and I've had a judge who is unhinged slamming a table. Let me be very clear. I don't tolerate that in my life. I'm not going to tolerate it here. And you know what? You shouldn't either. Because not every American citizen gets a camera and a microphone. And what I'm seeing is such a demise of American judicial system and democracy. Miss James came out this

morning and said that she knew Mr. Trump and she always calls him Mr. Trump because it tells her that he was the president. But the 45th president of this country, one of the best presidents we've had. Here's Alina Haba attacking the Washington DC federal court judge, Judge Tanya Chutkan. It's right on their playbook. So you see Mershon and Goran, Chutkan, play the clip. And then they just modify it, put it in a different court, put it in front of a judge in DC

or that we think has shown us incredible bipartisan decisions. She's had people on J6 cases that are still sitting there waiting for trial. She has the hardest line when it comes to decisions. And this is all by design. Again, I'm going to sound like a broken record, but it's all by design. They don't care about due process.

They don't care about the election. They don't care about the Constitution. This is the problem that we're having. And they really need to put their robes and the law in front of their politics. And going back to it, right, you have Mershon, you have Ngoran, you have Chutkan, and then you have her attack of Judge Kaplan, the federal judge, and Alina Haba saying,

oh, like these judges, he tried to make me look bad. Federal Judge Louis Kaplan just wanted me to look stupid and act like I didn't know how to enter in evidence into enter evidence into the record here. Play this clip. The fact is that he you now have to argue the constitutionality of his own gag order in front of him. And then he tells the Trump lawyers that they're losing credibility in his courtroom. I'm sorry, this judge has no credibility. Yeah, this is the same methodology that judges have done with me and the left wing media. They'll run with it. They try and

make attorneys on the team look or seem like they don't know what they're doing. They know that the press is in the room and they kind of play into it. They'll say things, you know, I'll speak to my experience, you know, for the lawyers out there that'll understand I was putting in something in evidence and it was impeachment evidence. It wasn't introducing something blindly. And the judge was making comments that would make the press believe that I didn't know what I was doing, saying, you know, you need to read the evidence. And I was looking at him, and I remember thinking, you're doing this on purpose. You're doing this in front of a jury.

You're doing this in front of the press. And the jury is impressionable. To them, the judge runs the court. So they do this intentionally today with Mr. Blanche to say to Todd something like you're losing credibility because there's no case law on a president being gagged and his First Amendment rights being taken away. Well, let me tell you why there's no precedent on that. There's no precedent on that because it's never happened

before. So they're asking us to back up things that you can't because it's never happened in this country. If you want to get precedent, maybe we need to look in Mexico or somewhere else where this would happen. But it doesn't happen in this country. And I think it's intentional. I know it is. They do it. They've done it to me. And they try and berate and ridicule the attorneys. And it's really pathetic. I don't know, Alina, though. I don't know. I mean, you're the person who thinks this is a smart decision to walk around with fake gold chains of Donald Trump's face on it with the MAGA rings with like the worst MAGA rappers that are out there. That's you right there. Oh, here you are partying in Mar-a-Lago. Here you are partying it up with the funds you're paid from Mr. and Mrs. Magadonia through the PAC, in St. Bart's.

That's what you, those are the decisions that you make. Oh, and you're the person who went on a podcast and said that you'd rather be pretty than smart. I mean, just think about that. For all of the hardworking lawyers out there and accomplished lawyers, you'd say, I'd rather be pretty than smart. Play this clip. Somebody said to me, Alina, would you rather be smart or pretty? And I said, oh, easy, pretty. I can fake being smart.

Then you think about the judges that the MAGA Republicans like, right? Like Justice Alito on the Supreme Court. The New York Times just reported that Justice Alito's beach house displayed another insurrectionist flag, right? His Washington, D.C. home had the inverted American flag that Alito then blamed on his wife and said, oh, my wife did it after we got into a dispute with our neighbor. That's why we put the inverted American flag. And now New York Times is reporting that the appeal to heaven flag, which is an insurrectionist flag, it's a flag that was introduced by a radical right-wing purported preacher about turning the United States of America into a theocratic regime. That's where the origin of this flag comes from. It was used back during the kind of the Revolutionary War period, but then it wasn't used ever again. And then it was used by this radical preacher calling for a right-wing Christian theocracy. And that's what was hanging in

Justice Alito's New Jersey beach house, appeal to heaven for a number of years. Then you have Judge Eileen Cannon, who doesn't even know what in the world she's doing other than how can she help Donald Trump. But those, I guess that's how you want MAGA judges to behave. Like Alina Haba, if Trump were to get another term in office, Alina Haba would probably become like a major legal position. Like she would become probably a federal judge and she'd be the one making decisions like this. And that's like Judge Cannon. It's like an Alina Haba. It's horrible. Well, there you have it.
