There it is. So the Democrats were able to outmaneuver the Maga Republicans in the House of Representatives to get that subpoena issue to the Department of Justice to turn over the Epstein

Starting point is 00:02:41 files. Now the Department of Justice just has until August 19th to turn over the Epstein files. likely the DOJ will try to delay and obstruct. They're already calling in favors from the Maga Republican Congress members who are the ones who are actually leading the oversight committee. I'll break down what took place. So now you have James Comer sending other subpoena as well. If we're going to subpoena the DOJ, then we're going to also have to subpoena Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. And we're also going to subpoena James Comey and Bill Barr and Robert Mueller and have their depositions taken in connection with Jeffrey Epstein. But when I look at the list of who James Comer also wants to get documents, records, and depositions from.

Starting point is 00:03:29 Notably missing is Alex Acosta, the prosecutor who was from the Southern District of Florida, who cut the sweetheart deal with Epstein. I mean, literally the guy. Why didn't you subpoena that guy if you're actually after the truth? Oh, maybe he was being Donald Trump's labor secretary during the first administration, and maybe Acosta knows some additional secrets about Donald Trump. as well. I think that when the Democrats take power again or whatever the Democrats do next, get Acosta's deposition, laser focus there. I think Acosta knows a lot more about Donald Trump

Starting point is 00:04:06 than even we know at this time. But take a look right here. Here's the subpoena to the Department of Justice. You'll see it right here. It's issued from the House Oversight Committee. It was dated yesterday. And you take a look at the documents that are being sought via this subpoena. All documents and communications relating or referring to Epstein, Delane Maxwell, and further relating or referring to human trafficking, exploitation, and minors, abuse or related activity, all documents and communications contained within the case file regarding U.S. versus Epstein, regarding U.S. versus Elaine Maxwell, all documents and communications contained within the file pertaining to the investigation of Epstein by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern

Starting point is 00:04:51 District of Florida that resulted in the 2007 non-prosecution agreement between the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida and Mr. Epstein? Okay, well, then why wouldn't you also get the deposition of Alex Acosta, who was the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida? But go on. It goes on to talk about all communications and documents relating to or referring to the U.S. versus Epstein, U.S. versus Elaine Maxwell, and the investigation of Epstein that resulted in the 2007 non-prosecution agreement. All documents and communications between the executive office of the president, including the executive office of Joe Biden and the Department of Justice, including or referring to Epstein. That's what the GOP wanted in there.

Starting point is 00:05:34 Let's get the Biden documents. Okay, get the Biden documents. Get the Clinton documents. I don't care. Just release the freaking files right there. And by the way, Congress is trying to seek these because Donald Trump is deep-sixing them and Donald Trump is trying to cover them up. And finally, seven, it says all documents and communications relating or referring to the death of Epstein. So that's the subpoena right there.

Starting point is 00:05:57 So I want to remind you of what went down. How is this subpoena issued? Because the MAGA Republicans were trying to block this from happening before they went on recess. Remember, Maga Mike Johnson calls the recess because he wants to give Donald Trump space to be able to do what Trump's doing. Meeting with Gilane Maxwell, Trump's former criminal defense attorney turned number two. at the Department of Justice Todd Blanche meets with Gilein Maxwell. Give her what's called use or proffer immunity during that meeting. Move Gilein Maxwell from Tallahassee to a minimum security prison in southeast Texas

Starting point is 00:06:32 as part of Donald Trump seeking the cooperation from Gleine Maxwell, ultimately, in my opinion, to cover up what she knows about Donald Trump while she petitions the United States Supreme Court for a new trial or to get the charges against her dismissed. But before Maga Mike was able to call the recess, Democratic Congresswoman Somer Lee made this brilliant move in another House Oversight subcommittee. She saw that like the Republicans weren't paying attention. They called this hearing. So she was like, okay, I want to add an amendment.

Starting point is 00:07:05 Let's vote to release the Epstein files and let's subpoena the Department of Justice. And she knew it was right before the recess that she had the votes in the room even from the MAGA Republicans there. So she pushed this vote, the MAGA Republican chair of this committee, he tried to pretend that the vote was actually to vote against releasing the files. It was like, we voted against it. She's like, no, no, no, we voted to release the files. And then the MAGA Republicans added in there a provision like, well, we want Bill Clinton and we want the files on Hillary Clinton and we want Biden's files. And then the Democrats were like, okay, sure. That's what we're okay with that.

Democratic Congress member Garcia, who's now the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, he writes, the Epstein file subpoena is out. The subpoena that oversight Democrats forced Republicans to vote on has been issued. We have asked for the files by August 19th. We are going to end this White House cover up. Congresswoman Summer Lee, who was the one who did that, brilliant maneuver. She goes, I introduced a motion. to subpoena the Epstein files. We got the votes.

Starting point is 00:11:35 Today, we got the subpoena. The DOJ has two weeks to release the Epstein files to the oversight committee. Justice must apply to everyone, no matter how rich, powerful, or well-connected you are. The NBC reported the GOP-led House committee subpoenaed the Clintons and several top former DOJ officials for testimony in Epstein. The committee also issued the subpoena for the DOJ. That's how James Comer tried to, you know, act like he wasn't. out maneuvered by the Democrats. All right, we're subpoenaing Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Merrick Garland, James Comey, Bill Barr, Alberto Gonzalez, Robert Mueller, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch.

Starting point is 00:12:15 Okay, subpoena those people. I'm not sure what they know. We're going to take their depositions. So let me just be clear what Comer's trying to set up. So we know what Comer already did with Gilane Maxwell's deposition, right? Democrats out maneuvered the Republicans, got DeLaine's deposition set for August 11th via subpoena. but then James Comer negotiated a deal with Gilane Maxwell's lawyer, David Oscar Marcus, to postpone the deposition until after the Supreme Court hears her petition for certiorari to get a new trial. So they've indefinitely pushed that back, but Comer pretends, oh, look, we still want to have her deposition taken. We're negotiating in good faith.

Starting point is 00:12:57 So that's how they're trying to get around that one. What Comer's trying to do here, I'm just letting you know their tactics. I used to be a litigator. I worked on stuff like this. I know what they're doing here. What Comer is going to try to say is, well, we want to have all these other depositions go first before the Department of Justice is required to turn it over.

Starting point is 00:13:17 And if Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton and all these other people are objecting to their subpoenas, it makes it look like the DOJ's objection is less bad. So they're going to go, well, look, Clinton's objecting, Hillary's objecting. Look at all these people objecting. They're trying to hide it. So we need to get their information before the DOJ releases that.

Starting point is 00:13:36 But we know this. We run the media now, the Midas Touch Network. We get more views than corporate news. So when they do that, we all know the hustle right here. We're all fine. If we just release the Epstein files. If Bill Clinton's in the files and did horrible things, good, hold him accountable. If Hillary Clinton's in the files and did horrible things, good, hold her account.

Starting point is 00:13:55 I don't care. I just want the freaking files right there. I don't want Guillain Maxwell getting pardoned or commuted. I don't care what DeLang is. Maxwell has to say. She's a convicted sex trafficker and a known liar who's engaged in the most heinous conduct. Just release the files. We need to all stay laser focused on that folks. And you remember yesterday what Donald Trump said. This guy's on the ropes. He's feeling the pressure. He was at this weirdo Olympics event yesterday. And he was supposed to talk about the 28 Olympics. But instead, he was

Starting point is 00:14:26 talking about how his former criminal defense attorney Todd Blanche was speaking with Gilane Maxwell to protect the identities of people who may be hurt by something. He's not talking about the victims. He's talking about the perpetrators. He's talking about perps. He's talking about people like himself here play this clip. I just have very highly thought of person, respected by everybody. And I didn't talk to him about it, but I will tell you that whatever he asks would be totally appropriate. And it's not an uncommon thing to do that. And I think he probably wants to make sure that, you know, people that should not be involved or aren't involved or not hurt by something that would be very, very unfortunate, very unfair to a lot of people. But I will say this,

Starting point is 00:15:11 Todd Blanche is one of the most highly respected people you'll ever meet. So I know this. I didn't discuss it with him, but anything he talked about with her or the fact that he did that, not unusual, number one, and most importantly is something that would be totally above board. And then Donald Trump utterly lied yesterday where he was. was asked, did you approve the transfer of Geelaine Maxwell to the minimum security facility? And Donald Trump lies. It goes, no, that just happens all the time. I don't know anything about it. It doesn't happen all the time that a convicted sex trafficker is moved to a minimum security facility with no guards where you have to get a waiver because sex traffickers are not permitted

Starting point is 00:15:51 there. And then you send your number two lawyer, your former criminal defense attorney who you make the number two at the Department of Justice to make him defend you versus we the people of the United States, Todd Blanche, to cut this deal. No, this has never happened in the history of the United States before. But here, play this clip. Two questions for you. One, did you, were you aware of and did you personally approve the prison transfer for Galane Maxwell that your Justice Department? I didn't know about it at all. No. I read about it just like you did. And do you believe that she's not a very uncommon thing? Do you believe that she's credible to be listening to? Your Deputy Attorney General sat down with her recently?

Starting point is 00:16:28 Well, he's, let me tell you, he's a very talented man. His name is Todd Blanche. She's a very legitimate person, very high, I just have very highly thought of person, respected by everybody. And I didn't talk to him about it, but I will tell you that whatever he asked would be totally appropriate, and it's not an uncommon thing to do that. And I think he probably wants to make sure that, you know, people that should not be involved or aren't involved or not hurt by something that would be very, very unfortunate, very

Starting point is 00:17:01 unfair to a lot of people. Now, let me show you because we the people demand justice. So at this town hall, you have Mike Flood, Magger Republican from Lincoln, Nebraska. This is the one where he got booed ruthlessly by the people in his like plus 20 Trump district. And they were like, when are you releasing the Epstein Trump files? When are you releasing the Trump Epstein files? And he's like, we're committed to transparency. We're going to take Elaine's deposition. We're getting this. I'm going to show you the clip, but I want to let you know their tactic. Yes, the subpoena's issued. Yes, Democrats outmaneuver them. Yes, Democrats got DeLayne's deposition. Yes, there's now a subpoena to the Department of Justice. But you saw how James Calmer, that's how he talks, MAGA Republican Congress member,

Starting point is 00:17:45 House of the Oversight Committee, how he's derailed Geelaine's deposition by negotiating a deal that they'll revisit the date of the deposition. They're saying, oh, it's just a negotiation. We're just cooperating. We'll just push it until after the Supreme Court makes their ruling. But then Geelaine's going to say, well, I want a habeas petition. And then I want to kick it. So she's going to try to kick her deposition with Congress until 2026 or indefinitely. That's her tactic right there. Now, the DOJ tactic, again, I want to be clear. So you know the tactic is James Comer, subpoenas, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton, and all these. people. He says we need their information first before the DOJ produces their documents. And then that

Starting point is 00:18:28 gets delayed for months and months and years. And they hope that the American people forget about what's taking place. Anyway, here's Maga Republican Congressmember Flood. So you can see for yourself how he's describing it. Played this clip. Next question. Why are you covering up the Epstein files? Let's be very clear. At the next pro forma session of the Congress, you'll find my name as a sponsor on a resolution from the House Rules Committee to release the Epstein files

Starting point is 00:19:08 to protect the victims and not re-victimize them again. I support Jamie Comer, who is the House's Oversight Committee Chairman subpoenaing Ms. Maxwell later this month to come testify in Washington. Washington. I am for the release of those records. And then just so you know their bad faith, why wouldn't the Maga Republicans subpoena Alex Acosta Trump's Labor Secretary from his first administration, who was the guy who did the deal with Epstein in 2007, who did the non-prosecution

Starting point is 00:19:40 agreement?
