Donald Trump is getting increasingly desperate and he's also getting increasingly rattled as President Biden starts to go on the offense and call Donald Trump weak, call Donald Trump a loser, call Donald Trump Herbert Hoover, as I call Donald Trump, Herbert Hoover, call Donald Trump a complete and utter failure. Here's what CNN had to say about its sources inside the Trump camp, talking about how rattled Trump is that President Biden's starting to get tough and go on the offense. Play this clip.

President Biden is employing a familiar tactic, though one that's relatively new for him. He's hoping to throw off Donald Trump right off his campaign message by taking jabs at his likely Republican opponent. Recently, Biden has been mocking Trump, calling him things like loser and emphasizing the former in former president. A person close to Trump actually says that he's rattled by Biden's efforts

to get under his skin. Aids to the president's reelection campaign, though, tell CNN that the taunting will keep up as they shift into general election mode. So we've been covering Donald Trump's various traveling fascist circus events that he calls rallies. And you see, though, President Biden getting under his skin per that CNN report. You got Donald Trump up there just making noises at this point, talking about being able to put on his pants, really weird stuff. Here he says something about Al Capone, part of his speech, he praises Al Capone, and he goes, Alphonse Capone. And it's really just a bunch of gibberish as he's trying to attack President Biden,

but like, looks to be very cognitively impaired. I mean, you tell me that he can't even like put together a sentence here. Play this clip. I'm not sure he has any idea what the hell's going on. The guy can't put two sentences together. And you know, I never spoke about him like this. I speak to him. It's very derogatory what I say, because you know what he did?

He indicted me. I mean, I've been indicted. I've been indicted more than Al Capone. See that guy had tough ears. Look at him with a big red hat on. He's a tough guy. If Al Capone. Just here's an example now of President Biden and some of his recent speeches, just very

clearly calling Donald Trump out and saying, that's a loser. He's a loser, play this clip. Everyone, but the legal path just took Trump back to the truth that I'd won the election and he was a loser. Well. President Biden's right. I mean, he had Donald Trump going up there and is trying to describe our military policy. And here's how he does it. Here's what Trump does. Play this clip. These are not muscle guys here. They're muscle guys up here, right? And they calmly walk to a seat. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.

They've only got 17 seconds to figure this whole thing out, right? Bom. Okay. Missile launch. Pshew. Boom. To most un... I mean, how is that even real?

I mean, he describes our military as ding, ding, dong, whoosh, whook. Really? Really? More from CNN about Donald Trump getting rattled as President Biden's in his head calling him a loser, calling him weak, calling him an idiot. Maybe he hasn't called him an idiot yet, but he will soon. Play this clip from CNN. The other fascinating thing about this though is it's actually working against Trump. He's getting frustrated by this. Yeah, people close to Trump tell us that they would prefer that Trump stay on the arguments about the economy and immigration and those sorts of things, but that they cannot control Trump, that he hears this. He's seeing what Biden's saying. He's hearing what Biden's saying, and it under his skin and then he lashes back. Yeah. And in response, here's again, Donald Trump trying to show his knowledge on military and

the military. And he talks about how forts like Fort Benning, it's the only fort that he could remember, which was renamed because of the history of Benning. But Donald Trump says that we won world wars out of forts in the United States of America. What in the world? Here, play this clip. Raised up those great skyscrapers. Won two world wars, you know.

We won world wars out of forts. Fort Benning, Fort this, Fort that, many forts. They changed the name. We won wars out of these forts. They changed the name. They changed the name of the forts. A lot of people aren't too happy about that. Defeated, he said, unacceptable.

Yeah. No, they changed the name of a lot of our forts. We won two world wars out of a lot of these forts. And they changed the name. It's it's unbelievable defeat. You got president Biden going on the offense, calling Donald Trump out kind of clear terms here. I'll show you one more clip of president Biden doing that right now. Here, play this clip. The presidency in their world, these Americans,

I mean, this is NBC Nightly News talking about the condition of our economy right now. Play the clip. The American economy is once again defying expectations. New data from the Commerce Department shows the GDP, which measures spending from governments, from consumers and businesses, grew at a rapid 3.3% rate from October through December. That was a lot faster than expected. This is CNBC talking about the condition of our economy. Play the clip. On Thursday, we actually saw the Dow posting a record close, the S&P hitting an all-time high as well. And a lot of that has been driven by the fact that we saw a stronger GDP print in the United States. You know, yesterday,

we were talking about what markets were expecting ahead of the fourth quarter release for the U.S. economy. And in the end, we saw the U.S. economy growing at a rate of about 3.3% in our final quarter of 2023, which was well above the market expectations of 2%. So, John, we're seeing still a very strong U.S. economy for the time being. And here's Donald Trump talking about how he wants to have the economy crash because he thinks that's a winning issue for him. And he doesn't want to be Herbert Hoover here. Rooting for harm to our great country here, play this clip. When there's a crash, I hope it's going to be during this next 12 months because I don't want to be Herbert Hoover. The one president, I just don't want to be Herbert Hoover. So in addition to rooting for

our economy to crash, you also had Donald Trump who ordered the MAGA Republicans in the House and in the Senate to kill any immigration bill. It was a bipartisan bill that was being worked on by Democrats and mainstream Republicans in the Senate. Donald Trump posted, I don't want to see a deal, that this is a winning issue for him to whine about it. Even the Wall Street Journal had to do an op-ed that basically said that it's actually disastrous for Republicans if they're going to run on trying to harm the border by whining about it when there's a bipartisan deal because Trump thinks that's going to be a winning issue for him because that's how Trump wants to run on the chaos and whining.

I mean, that's one of the things, again, when President Biden's going on the offense here, calling Trump a whiner. It's like a whiny loser. How un-American, what a whiny loser Donald Trump is. By the way, this is Republican Senator from North Carolina, Senator Tillis. And here he talks about like, what are we talking about here? Like we should get a bipartisan border deal done. We're not going should get a bipartisan border deal done. We're not going to get a bipartisan border deal. We're not going to fund Ukraine because Trump's trying to kill that because he thinks it's a winning issue for him. Seriously? By the way, it's the Republicans saying this.

Play this clip. It is immoral for me to think you look the other way because you think this is the linchpin for President Trump to win. I do not want to be a part of history that fails democracy and that's a failure if we don't find a way to fund Ukraine and Israel. Here's Republican Mitt Romney saying the same thing, play the clip. I think the border is a very important issue for Donald Trump. And the fact that he would communicate to Republican senators and Congress people that he doesn't want us to solve the border problem because he wants to blame Biden for it is really appalling. But the reality is that we have a crisis at the border.

The American people are suffering as a result of what's happening at the border. And someone running for president ought to try and get the problem solved, as opposed to saying, hey, save that problem. Don't solve it. Let me take credit for solving it later. Just some other news to report as well. Goldman Sachs talks about how their expectation is there's going to be three consecutive interest rate cuts by the Fed, March, May, and June, followed by quarterly cuts to a terminal rate of 3.25% to 3.5%. I mean, that's great news right there. You've got core inflation under control right now with wage growth exceeding it. I mean, there's some really good economic news right now with wage growth exceeding it. I mean, there's some really good economic news right now. And it's just a very strange thing that you've got a political party in a dangerous thing,

that they're trying to just cause damage, these Republicans, to the country because they think it's a winning issue for Trump. But I like that President Biden's going on the offensive and just calling out that behavior, calling it loser behavior. By the way, it's not just him calling Donald Trump a loser. Here's a clip from Nikki Haley calling Donald Trump a loser. Play this clip. With Donald Trump, Republicans have lost almost every competitive election. We lost the Senate. We lost the House.

We lost the White House. We lost in 2018. We lost in 2020. And we lost in 2022. The worst kept secret in politics is how badly the Democrats wanna run against Donald Trump. Trump's a loser.
